Thank you both for such wonderful hospitality. We've had a much needed peaceful and relaxing stay at Colombat. The surroundings are beautiful and it has been fascinating to learn about the history of WW2 in this region.

We were a group of 20 (5 families) and had a wonderful week! The rooms are very comfortable (aircon, great beds), the kitchen was perfect for a large group, the pool was large and clean (not even a bug in the water, thanks to the overflow system). Everything is nicely decorated and brand new. The location is just beautiful with wonderful sunsets. We had a lovely visit at the wine cellar of the domaine and did a wine tasting. We visited Saint-Tropez and the Pampelonne plage (1 hour drive), Cotignac (40 min), Île de Porquerolles by catamaran from Hyères (1h) and did canyoning in the Gorges du Verdon (2h drive). So plenty to do but you'll need to spend some time in the car. And last but not least : Thomas is a great host. He is always available and willing to help in every possible way.
Fabulous time - lovely area. Enjoyed the markets, some great restaurants, playing water volleyball and drinking and buying lots of wine!
Villa Funel was spotless, the kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable and the whole place was light and airy. The DVD player and the large supply of films was great for late viewing. The pool area and garden were a delight. We had a lovely relaxing time. We will certainly return.

We had a very good dinner at La Licorne, and joyous visits to Azay le Rideau, Villandry and Chenonceaux - all so much better restored, managed and presented than 20 years ago. We would just like to say a massive thank you for the week we have just spent at Pech d'aze. It truly is a fantastic home. We could have stayed another week so easily! It was so peaceful and every night we would watch the sunset from the field below with a bottle of wine and listen to the frogs singing from the pond. Weather was lovely and both of us made good use of the pool. We had a BBQ every night and left charcoal for the next lucky guests
What a find- this beautiful house and garden were even more gorgeous than the photos. It felt like staying in the home of your most stylish, thoughtful tasteful friends, and being looked after immensely well! We loved it and it was extremely hard to drag ourselves away. The region was new to us and a delight- glorious and distinctive local environs and easy to access and explore slightly further afield places. Eimear and Sian could not have been more helpful, and we hope to return as soon as we can!
It is beautiful and absolutely perfect for our needs. We also loved the village and the restaurant. We have stayed in some lovely houses in France but yours is definitely the best. We will be in touch when we next head to France!
We stayed in Maison Rohmer for 11 nights in June and thoroughly enjoyed the house and peaceful setting at the end of a private track. Everything was very clean and well furnished with excellent bathrooms and plenty of hot water. We swam in the pool every day bar one, when there was a big thunderstorm that drenched the area and had a strange effect of gradually turning the colour of the water in the pool to green, but was perfectly ok to swim in. The owner was on hand to answer any queries we had despite being in the USA at the time of our stay, something that we both appreciated greatly. Gordes and the area around was lovely with so many beautiful towns and villages to explore on foot or bike or car, a great area of France to return to again.
Our warmest gratitude to you for sharing with us the magic of your fantastic estate and a glimpse of your life. You are the most charming, considerate and generous hosts; you made us feel right at home immediately upon our arrival and so comfortable and welcome throughout the week. Thank you for that! The Manoir is an absolute treasure and it has been a true treat for us to learn the story of your shaping it to its present glory. We will particularly treasure the memory of being pampered by you with Bruce's fantastic cooking - asparagus a la Bruce and confit de canard warmly recommended! - and Steve's delicious deserts. Good food, great atmosphere! The week has gone too fast and thus we are making plans to return, as such treat just demands an Encore! With warm thanks.
We had the most wonderful time at Villa La Baronne. I think our children spent most of their time in the pool. Beautifully decorated house with plenty of space for all our family.
A beautiful home in a beautiful village, so much hospitality and the house had everything we needed. We did not want to leave! :) La Table de Jean is a much recommended restaurant, fantastic food and people. Lovely stay.
Another wonderful week in beautiful surroundings with lovely hosts. Very hot weather but the pool was great and the fans in the bedrooms kept us cool at night. The bird count was up to its usual standards, we spotted 21 species we specially love the hoopoes. Very interesting planting and inspirational for our garden at home ! We will be back !

Our visit exceeded all our expectations. We came to this beautiful villa for a family reunion and a very special 60th birthday celebration. From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the charm, beauty and atmosphere of this property. The villa is absolutely stunning with plenty of space for everyone to relax, socialise and enjoy quality family time together. The surroundings are breathtaking and all of us made memories to last lifetime. We will treasure this for years to come. If you would have us again, then we will be back. The combination of lovely accommodation, beautiful surroundings and the swimming pool made Piglet Barn a wonderful place to stay. In addition to being an interesting and picturesque village, Vouvant is a great location for the start of circular bike rides and walks. We especially enjoyed the riiverside walk, the Sentier des Rives. The Saturday market in Fontenay provides an enjoyable shopping experience. Many thanks for a great holiday.
We were the first French to stay in this house, which is very pleasant and practical for family life, especially with children. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which was greatly appreciated. The kitchen is well equipped and we had a very nice basket filled upon arrival. The garden is extremely pleasant, enclosed, with a pétanque court at the back and games for children. The barn has several games: billiards, table football, table tennis, darts. It is also possible to play badminton and rackets are available. Ideal even when the weather is not nice.
We are off on an amazing two weeks in Le Malardier, a house full of character and so spacious. Thank you Gay and Richard. Our American friends explored the area but we Brits who do not see the sun as much as them were more than happy to lounge around the pool. There was everything you could want in the house and the children were delighted with the toys in the attic! This is a beautiful part of France, the views are spectacular. We found some great restaurants and enjoyed the local culture. Au Revoir.
Well, what can we say other than we have had a ball and our 'musicals' night with you both will enter the folklore of the families. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality, friendship and laughs - what a holiday! We've loved every minute of our holiday. The Loft is superb in every aspect. We stayed at Maison Sainte-Croix in June last year and I have to say, we had a fantastic holiday. The spacious house is very comfortable and there is plenty of room for everyone. We particularly liked the choice of terraces to enjoy the magnificent views at different times of the day. We had many enjoyable afternoons tasting wine in the various local villages and were glad that we drove rather than flew so that we could take home some of our favourites! We found some very good restaurants in Vaison and the street market is well worth a visit. Many thanks!
We can't wait to go back! A chateau with some serious wow factor, this beautiful home in Burgundy was the perfect setting for our family holiday. Luxurious but also wonderfully laid back, it had every possible amenity - tennis court, swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen, gas barbecue, DVD with full library of movies, games room, etc – allowing us all to relax, unwind, keep everyone entertained and also treat ourselves. Would highly recommend hiring the local chef too for an extra special treat. Can’t wait to go back!
