The villa is superb and very well appointed: the kitchen is ideal for a group. The rooms are tastefully decorated and offer the services of a beautiful hotel. The holiday went by too quickly!
We adored our stay at this charming renovated farmhouse, with views to keep in our memory forever. This house truly suited our family with our two sons, partners and grandchildren. The kitchen was excellent and overall the house had every facility we would look for, the pool and table tennis rooms were regularly in the daily family tournaments, that took place. Sitting outside at the covered dining table for breakfast and evening meals was a great pleasure daily. The swimming pool has sun for the majority of the day so keeps a good temperature for swimming and the steps enabled our grandson to build his water confidence. The Thursday market in Nyons is excellent and Vaison le romaine is full of history. Les Marquises is one of our favourite holiday experiences, great location and great house.
We have had a fantastic stay in Rieux-Minervois thanks to your kind and generous hospitality! The Loft is beautiful and filled with everything we needed to have a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The kitchen felt modern and easy to cook in; the beds were extremely comfortable and the pool and garden were splendidly kept. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful property. It was so comfortable and relaxing, with enough space for peace whenever we needed it.

We spent a very pleasant week in Château Grandchamp de Chablis. The setting, the equipment, the swimming pool, everything is designed to make you feel good and for everyone! We thank the caretakers for their very friendly welcome. We strongly recommend this château, as well as visiting and tasting the neighbouring grape varieties.

This villa is amazing. The accommodation is fabulous with a lovely kitchen/dining/lounge area, comfortable beds, great showers and very effective air-conditioning. The pool and outside areas are excellent. We were a family group ranging from 15 to 72 years and we all had a wonderful time. The owners are friendly and welcoming, there if you need them, otherwise extremely discreet. We would not hesitate to recommend this property.
Great stay in a large villa very comfortable! The pool is very nice. The accommodation, well equipped, located in a friendly village at a good distance from Béziers and the seaside resorts of the coast.
What a beautiful location, breathtaking. A very warm welcome, you feel at home because of the fine reception. The hosts help you with everything you could want. The gîte is also spick and span and meets all your needs. Had a very relaxing holiday. Exactly as it should be! We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come here again.

The Loft is wonderful. Beautiful, elegant and peaceful yet still homely - albeit better furnished than our home. We loved our stay and the fortnight flew by. The gorgeous gardens and pool made for a tranquil holiday and a haven after days out in this lovely area. The extra touches of your welcome pack, first breakfast croissants and drinks in the garden were the icing on a very beautiful cake. Thank you. We look forward to hearing of the success of the main house.
We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight. The listing and reviews stated the house was comfy and well equipped, well I can totally vouch for that. We wanted for nothing. Beds are very comfy, the outdoor area is outstanding. Everything you could want is to hand. One, if not the best pool we've ever used and Martyn keeps it spotless everyday. The owners are on hand if needed or not. The village is excellent, a short walk with a restaurant. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

We had had this property booked since 2020 to celebrate my 70th birthday together with my son and his family. This was part of a four week French vacation. The property was just as we had hoped. A typical French Château, very roomy filled with antiques. The owners were very helpful and accommodating to our every need. It was well equipped and the grounds were delightful. The pool was very much appreciated as the weather was unseasonably hot. We all enjoyed our holiday and would love to return again. Thank you.

It was an absolutely wonderful place to stay! It is a truly authentic experience in a beautiful, peaceful village. The views from the balcony and the pool are exceptional; the interior of the house was nicely decorated and clean; and the concierge/owners were on hand for any questions. The fact that the pool is across a short road was no issue at all; we did not come across anyone else on the road the entire time and it was every bit as good as the pool being directly next to the property. I would not hesitate to come back and would look forward to doing so!" In terms of improvements I really cannot think of anything; it met or exceeded our expectations in every way. The only tiny thing I would recommend may be to change the driving recommendations slightly. But like I say, that is such a tiny recommendation compared to a wonderful experience!
Thank you so much for a wonderfully relaxing stay at your ‘Loft’. We have stayed here many times before under previous ownership, but we must say that you have moved it up several notches! The attention to detail is second to none; from the luxurious ‘The White Company’ products to all the goodies in the fridge and cupboards - very much appreciated. The terrace, garden and pool are just so peaceful that we haven’t ventured far! Most of all thank you for being there and for your wonderful company. We hope there will be many more visits to come. Where do we start! Arrived at the gite and drove through the private gated entrance to see beautiful grounds and a very inviting swimming pool. Jean and Martyn were waiting to show us around and were the perfect hosts throughout our stay. The gite, grounds, outdoor kitchen and pool all immaculate and made for the perfect stay. The washing machine, dishwasher and many fridges are an added bonus. The bedrooms and bathroom a good size, fab open plan kitchen, diner and living room. Lots of extras in the kitchen which is great. Lauzun is a great little village with all the amenities you need, several other pretty villages near by (Issigeac and Eymet are lovely) Large hyper/supermarkets and various shops in Bergerac, 30mins away or a decent size Intermarche 10mins away. We would highly recommend the gite and will definitely be returning. Thank you Jean and Martyn for your letting us stay in your lovely property and not forgetting the very friendly, fluffy, German Shepherd Tanner. We had the best time, enjoyed sharing our many bottles of vino and our evening with you in Eymet.
We certainly had a restful and memorable holiday at Château Monjardin... the house and grounds are magnificent and provided a lovely quiet retreat that the whole family enjoyed.

Coming from the other side of the world, and taking a chance on brief information and pictures provided on a website, and some positive reviews, we booked for four weeks with both anticipation and trepidation. But from the moment our booking was completed, our experiences have been all extremely positive. We have used the information you provided us, ahead of our travel to France, about places to visit or experience, on an almost daily basis. We appreciated your warm greeting on our arrival. The name Les Chambeaux truly reflects the natural surroundings and the accommodation has been spot on. Being keen cooks, the kitchen has been exceptional. We’ve explored many of the sights you suggested and revelled in the surrounding local village markets and beyond. As hosts, you have shown the perfect combination of support and generosity. We find it hard to realise that our time seems to have come to an end so quickly but our memories will be long lasting. If you dare to catch the big bird to Melbourne, we would love to see you. Or perhaps we will return! Merci beaucoup and à bientôt.
We had a wonderful time at Château Grandchamp de Chablis in Burgundy and will certainly be back. All details of both the house and the care of the guests are carefully thought through and attended to and we had the perfect combination of privacy and feeling attended to while there. The property is beautiful and the owners have wonderful taste. The grounds have a myriad of eating spots and activities including swimming pool, tennis, lovely walks and a feeling of privacy. The owners are gracious and eager to be sure you have the resources to make the most of your stay with their long experience and knowledge of the area. A special holiday to experience a French home of this level and explore the extensive area of Burgundy not far from Paris. A rare find indeed!

Les Chapoux is truly a terrific holiday destination, the property is located in a lovely area and it is easy to access local towns and villages with supermarkets in easy reach. As to the property it is charming, there is plenty of room with comfortable beds and all the amenities you could need. The pool is great and the 3 generations of our family spent many an hour in and around it. The owners are very helpful and made us feel most welcome. Definitely one to visit.
We have had a really lovely week at La Maison Cabanon. It was great to feel home from home here. All the children relaxed straight away. We had a couple of cloudy days so went to Baux de Provence. Saint Remy de Provence market (Wednesday mornings) and explored L 'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue - all nice things to do. But we mainly enjoyed the fab pool! Beautiful surroundings, lovely atmosphere. Thank you for such a blissful week with you! We have spent many happy hours enjoying your beautiful garden and pool, while exploring the surrounding countryside on our bikes has been idyllic. Highlights have definitely been visiting château Azay le Rideau, Beauval zoo (an hour and a half by car) and a wonderfully relaxed lunch down by the river at La Route du Sel. Thank you for your incredible hospitality, generosity and warmth. We really hope to return next year!
I cannot say how much I love this amazing old stone farmhouse; it has been so immaculately restored and is both stylish and supremely comfortable. The gardens are beautiful (what a fantastic collection of Salvias) and the infinity pool, with its view over the surrounding countryside, is a dream ( both for proper swimming of lengths and for sunbathing). I could spend all day here. It is lovely to have a choice of outdoor eating areas for long lunches or relaxing dinners. I love the fact the there are lots of delightful historic Bastide towns within easy driving distance, both for historical sightseeing , fabulous food markets and outstanding restaurants (Auberge Le Prieure at Moirax being my personal favourite !) I have visited the house three times now and each visit has been magic.
