Thank you for an unforgettable week! The house and gardens have been a dream. We have been blessed with amazing weather and the pool has made the holiday for the children. Wonderful family holiday in this stunning location. Perfect house for a triathlon! Would love to come back when our grandson is old enough to use all the facilities.
Another lovely holiday spent in this area. The house was all we needed, just as the photos and descriptions had shown. The standard of the house and grounds were fantastic. Often in France the pools may be a little walk away from the house/outdoor living areas but this was a fantastic layout for all to enjoy all day and evening. The pool was the best part, fantastic condition and provided hours of fun for kids and adults alike as did the games room. The house was very spacious and all facilities/equipment provided were ideal. The little walk into the village across the fields for our morning bread and cakes and the close proximity to Duras and Eymet (the towns we enjoy visiting) meant this was a great location.
One week was NOT enough!! What a wonderful spot! The Loft was a perfect base and location for relaxation. The garden is lovely and we made good use of the boules court. Cycling by the Canal du Midi was lovely and we enjoyed a walk up behind Caunes-Minervois to enjoy the wildlife and sculpture park. The weather was perfect sunshine to allow some activity.
Amazing stay, beautiful house with great facilities. Pool and outdoor kitchen was great. Pete and Kate were amazing hosts and couldn't be more helpful. We will return. Thank you.

A memorable week in Les Trois Maisons de Valescure. Our host Thomas was very caring and attentive. Very good services (top bedding and cleanliness, nothing to complain about. Where do I start?! Truly one of the most amazing places we’ve ever stayed. The property sits in a stunning location with beautiful mountain views yet is just a short drive from Limoux which offers everything you might need. It’s also a very easy and short drive to Carcassonne with all of its shops and attractions (and international airport). Close to beautiful Mediterranean coastline, the rugged Montagne Noir and the wonderful Pyrenees, there are too many amazing sights to list (or to see in one holiday)... if you can drag yourself away from Domaine de Nérige that is. The property itself is far beyond adequate description in words or photographs. It is utterly magical. Every aspect of the house itself and the experience it offers has been carefully and lovingly thought through by the hosts and the result is exceptional. It’s certainly not easy to achieve both elegance and comfort but they have, masterfully. As well as being entirely beautiful, the accommodation is impressively spacious- we stayed as two families over five of the bedrooms, but had we filled all bedrooms it would have felt no less spacious because of its clever and generous arrangement. It’s perfectly appointed, with an incredible kitchen with every gadget and utensil you could possibly want, an outdoor dining area with gas bbq and hot plate, luxurious towels and linen (including towels for the pool), music player, DVDs, outdoor games (table tennis, swing ball, table football, pétanque), pool table room and then there’s the swimming pool! An immaculately kept pool terrace with sun loungers, wooden pergola and even an outdoor shower. The swimming pool was fabulous for adults and children alike, being large enough for swimming lengths but also with a shallow end for the children. Kept as meticulously as the rest of the property, the pool is cleaned every morning. The hosts could not have been more helpful and welcoming from beginning to end. Due to travel disruptions we had to change the dates of our stay several times and the hosts were so accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Before we arrived Sandie had even arranged to do a grocery shop for us! She was also kind enough to arrange for a therapist to come to the house during our stay so we could have a much needed massage! I think it’s indicative of just how special this place is that everyone in our party fell entirely in love with it, children and adults alike. We can’t wait to go back.
We are just back from two magical weeks in this property set in a beautiful area with many Bastides to visit. The house is spacious with every required amenity hosted by the lovely owners Jean and Martin not forgetting the real star Tanner the dog. The grounds are enormous with a gorgeous pool, gazebo, huge parasols and sun-beds. The local village Lauzun is a short walk away for bread and there is a local Bar de Sport. Each Saturday night in the season the main street is closed off and tables set up for a gourmande evening... Very French! The owners will ensure that you have a good time but are in no way obtrusive. Don't miss the opportunity to try this property!
Had an amazing time with the family at this beautiful château. Tucked away among adorable little villages, a slice of pure tranquility. It's a place where everything is beautiful and well taken care of. And the pool an absolute gem, a spot where you can relax and soak in the stunning scenery. We loved the laid-back vibe while still things were top-notch in terms of comfort and charm.

This has been our first villa holiday and you have certainly spoilt us for the future! We don't know how Maison Albarels could be bettered. You have done a fantastic job in converting your old family home into such a lovely villa. Many thanks for your hospitality, especially your wine and juice on arrival and your lovely cherries - and also for trying to sort out the TV for us to watch the World Cup in English... Even if England were rubbish! We loved Carcassonne - we went once by car and once by walking along the Canal du Midi at Pezens. Also Château Pennaultier - a mini Versailles - was impressive and helpful staff in the restaurant / shop. Special mention to the lovely lady in the shop next door, always smiling and helpful even if our French was a bit limited!
This is an ideal holiday home if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing time surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are no other houses nearby, yet you are only a 10 minute drive from the nearby Bastide of Monpazier and larger town of Villareal, where there are shops, restaurants, markets etc. The pool is a good size and well maintained and the house is very well equipped. We have been coming to France for over 10 years and this is the only property which has enticed us back for 2 years running.

What a fantastic house and grounds. We had great plans for visiting places and doing things with the grandchildren, but they indulged in endless games around the grounds, including the croquet and of course the pool. Croquet from 7.30 to 15.00 meant a wonderful time, so many, many thanks for letting us stay in your home.
We have spent a very happy week here. The house is charming, very comfortable and relaxing. We have loved spending lazy days around the pool, enjoying the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The cafés of Poitiers were worth a visit. Thierry and Véronique have been lovely hosts, thank you.
Thank you Pascal and Julien for making us so welcome at your fabulous home. We really appreciated your special efforts to source a highchair for Hatta - who enjoyed her first proper holiday. A wonderfull family holiday we we will always remember. Our favourite moment was playing in the pool. We enjoyed Aubeterre with the underground church and Brantôme also the market at Ribérac.

Thank you Karen and Russell for giving us the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful place. The Loft du Vigneron is one of the nicest places we have stayed, and we have stayed in many. The warm welcome we received when we arrived was lovely after our tiring journey. It was great to have you show us around, and your welcome pack was more than generous. The facilities here are all 5-Star; the Loft is spacious and airy, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and crockery and everything that you need, and more besides. All the ensuite bathrooms are of the highest standard with fluffy towels and pamper products (I want a new bathroom when I go home - I was spoiled here). Karen and Russell, you really know how to look after your guests and spoil them. We can't wait to come back next year for two weeks - one was not enough!
Beautiful location really nice house, swimming pool is delightful. Large safe garden for children. Remote but easy to find and within easy driving distance of all the facilities you need for a great holiday.
We had a lovely holiday at Château Perigord and are now sadly back in the UK.
This lovely home, just on the outskirts of the old historic town of Pezenas, is everything we hoped it would be. A short stroll into the town centre with bars, restaurants and bakeries a plenty! All offering great value ! Aside from the location, the house is well equipped, clean and very comfortable. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms. A lovely sitting area outside for outdoor dining. The sun is over the pool and on the sun lounges well into the evening. The Games room was well used and a great area for teenagers to have space for themselves. The area has much to offer, something for everyone to enjoy! Walking, cycling or lazy days on the beach in Sete or Agde (both offer water sports).Kayaking in Saint Guilherme de Desert or wine tasting in La Croix Belle or Picpoul (neither to far from the house.) The market day on Saturday is fabulous! Thank you to owners and managers!
Fantastic stay in an amazing location. We were 6 adults and 5 children staying for 2 weeks. The weather was still mild and sunny in October and the views on the Corsican mountains and the bay of Ajaccio were stunning. The villa is spacious, very well furnished and in top shape. We used the living room fireplace (it has an extraordinary sixteenth century mantelpiece) every night, it was magical. It is a great place for families.
