We had a fantastic time at Mas de Clouze. We walked to Beaumont, canoed at Cenac, visited Montpazier and Chateau de Biron. Lots of long lunches at the house and hours of fun in the pool. Many thanks.
We are back again! Thank you so much Jackie and Geoff, we had the most fantastic stay again. The house was beautiful and the pool was perfect. We spent 99% of the time outside. Drinks at Le Pub and dinner at plenty of new restaurants! No car needed. Thank you!

We had a wonderful holiday at Domaine de Nérige and thought it was absolutely superb - extremely comfortable, spacious and with lots of toys! We couldn't recommend it highly enough and it was a bonus to meet the owners and hear how they had transformed a derelict wreck into such a wonderful home.
Large house with beautiful swimming pool. Well-equipped kitchen with, among other things, plancha outside, very pleasant! We also enjoyed the barbeque. All amenities are available. We were with 6 adults and 8 children, at the limit but certainly feasible. Thank you for the air conditioning in the rooms - electricity costs are always paid separately

After having stayed it before exactly a year ago, we already had high expectations and were wondering if it would be as wonderful as before. It was even better! Thank you so much.
The entire property was amazing! We found all we needed for the perfect stay. The gardens, full of magnificent roses, and vast yard with many varieties of trees, was a pleasant respite, along with a beautiful pool as a center piece. The furnishings complemented the large house, reminiscing of it’s history, while offering multiple places for a cozy read or gathering for large groups. A culinary delight with gas stove top, plancha, and charcoal grill. The location had easy access in all directions to explore all the amazing sites in the region. A short trip away were small artisan shops and a larger supermarket. We worked our way through the carefully curated basket of books and brochures on the region. Elisabeth and Philippe were gracious hosts making sure we had all we needed, answering any questions, and that we enjoyed our visit.
We really loved the outside spaces and swimming pool and the children enjoyed the outdoor toys. Really fabulous catering. Such a perfect location for a multi-generational trip which we'll all remember for years to come. Thank you so much.
I have stayed here with friends on several occasions and the tranquility and serenity is something to treasure. Maison Bourriette and gardens are furnished to the highest standard with a special courtyard enclosed in the original barn walls. The pool and surroundings cater for the most ardent sunbather or swimmer. The welcome you receive is personal and nothing is too much trouble, thus ensuring your best possible stay. From the house you are near to many interesting attractions dotted around the rolling countryside but if you don't want to leave the sanctuary of the house, then there are numerous delightful walks on the doorstep taking you through woods to small settlements or even into Montaigu for quality food and drink. I cannot wait to go back again!

It was a wonderful property to stay in – everyone who stayed with us were very impressed by the house. It’s a lovely town too. The management people in Pézenas for this property were very helpful too. We are in the UK now and are missing the south of France weather.

We are returning guest since now more than 5 years. We love Villa Baleyssagues and Frédéric ! We love everything in the house and all the different changes/improvement in the house due to new ownership. Pool remain the same with its impressive shape ! The only negative point is that the house is rapidly fully booked !!!

Such a great place to stay. It's so peaceful, really well laid out and perfect for groups big or small. Close enough to the main town and well located for golf or wine country. Hosts were super helpful and welcoming and the house itself is gorgeous. Great pool, facilities and entertaining areas - we'll definitely be going back.

We had a wonderful time at Vero and Thierry. The house is beautiful and very well decorated. The outdoor facilities are excellent and have everything you need. Because the weather was so nice we spent most of our time by the pool and ate all our meals there. There is a supermarket and two bakeries 5 km away and Poitiers is easily accessible for sightseeing and restaurants. We're already talking about going back. I highly recommend staying here.

What a beautiful place to spend a week. The villa is fabulous, spacious and homely with everything we needed. The location was perfect to explore Collioure on foot. We have never visited this part of France before, so we have loved investigating and had some fantastic meals!

Thank you ever so much for such a wonderful stay at Camirout. We have all had a fabulous time, enjoying the fine weather, exploring the local area, sampling the delights of the local restaurants and village ‘feasts’/night markets; participating in medieval festivals (a particular favourite!); and most of all – relaxing by the pool. A more tranquil spot in France you will not find. The house has 360-degree views across stunning French countryside that rolls and undulates towards a backdrop of the Pyrenees. It feels like you're a million miles from the stresses and strains of modern life, another world and yet within 20 minutes drive you can be in a huge supermarket that will cater for all your needs. The house itself is incredibly comfortable, with all mod cons. It sleeps 14 people in great comfort, including in two well-appointed cottages in the grounds. And yet it retains its cosy feel. Some days we lazed by the pool and ate our meals on one of the terraces, other days – when it was cooler - we lit the fire and settled in. It's genuinely as comfy inside as it is outside, which is not always the case in French holiday lets. Our young children were in heaven. When not swimming or playing tennis, they roamed the five acres of immaculately kept grounds, building camps, rowing on the small lake. There's snooker croquet and table tennis too, if it's wet. And then of course there is the party room. Set well away from the grown-up bedrooms, the party room has a bar, DJ–quality speaker system and a proper disco – glitter ball, lights and all. Incredible fun. You really won't want to leave the château and grounds at all – it's a self-contained little hill-top world - but if you do have itchy feet then there are lots of walks nearby, or you can visit one of the many beautiful French towns nearby (Mirepoix market is a must). I cannot wait to return.
Loved Cottage du Jardin from the first photo we viewed on line. We had the warmest welcome from Caterina and Stephen. The cottage lived up to and beyond expectations. For anyone looking for total peace and tranquility this is the place to find it. On the other hand the area offers a mass of beautiful places to visit, within a short driving distance. You also have the luxury of your own swimming pool, surrounded by a beautiful fragrant garden. Caterina and Stephen go out of their way to make you welcome and are a font of knowledge of the area, but manage to do this without being intrusive. The perfect hosts. I hope that this little cottage will continue to enchant those who are lucky enough to find it.
5 stars are simply not sufficient when it comes to a review of this outstanding gite. A truly fabulous week starting with a warm welcome (and delicious cognac cocktail) from Mark and Gary and then the luxurious surroundings which we adored, 7 days of absolute luxury and a credit to the wonderful hosts who made our stay that extra bit special. Attention to detail is exemplary, everything you could possibly need is provided (from whisked milk for the perfect coffee and an air fryer to the hairdryers and divine smelling body wash and in the waterfall showers). The welcome hamper was a delight and Mark and Gary were the perfect hosts with excellent recommendations for dinner (Le Boule D’Or and Les Droles were excellent) and places to visit. Everything is utterly spotless (including the pool and terrace which were meticulously cleaned each day) and the beds are like sleeping in the clouds. The welcoming scent throughout is something we’ll remember at home thanks to a visit to Aubeterre to Savon Garde. We cannot fault this incredible haven of tranquility and luxury and are already planning a return visit. Thank you Mark and Gary for transforming La Charmante Distillerie to such an outstanding holiday destination, and for your hospitality from start to finish.
Magnificent old sheepfold, spacious, bright, and comfortable. The views are incredible with its large heated pool and park. Everything is within driving distance: supermarkets, typical villages, restaurants, and multiple excursions. And finally, the owners are attentive and absolutely charming!
