Super beautiful place for all ages! Very well equipped kitchen. All very authentic.
We had the most lovely week at La Chartreuse de Montfort for a week in the middle of September. The weather was gorgeous and sunny during the day but slightly autumnal in the morning and evening, so we ate breakfast outside but dinner inside around the lovely dining table with a fire in the amazing wood burner to give that cosy feeling to the sitting room. As a group of 10 friends, the house was lovely and spacious with plenty of room for everyone to eat, sit inside or out or enjoy some quiet time in the little study as they wished. The views from the terrace are extraordinary! Ever changing - amazing sunrises with the mist hanging in the valley and then the meandering Dordogne river below. The pool was lovely, warm and easy to access but rather nice that it was situated on the lower terrace so you could have a peaceful swim. The house itself it completely private yet only 10 minutes away from the supermarket and the lovely medieval town of Sarlat. So much to do in the area that you are spoilt for choice - castles, walking, cycling, canoeing, gardens, caves and ancient dwellings, markets - and plenty of excellent places to eat - highly recommend Ô Moulin in Carsac for an extraordinary culinary experience. To be honest, though, the house is so well equipped and comfortable, eating dinner ‘chez-nous’ was our preferred option, washed down with excellent local Bergerac wines! Was the holiday long enough? Certainly not! Would we go again? Absolutely, can’t wait!
Mas du Château is a perfect mixture or restored historic chateau and very modern high spec decor. Set in the most beautiful landscape with all the privacy needed. Amazing swimming pool and private terrace area is ideal for a large group or a small private family. Multiple entertaining spaces, along with Television and very fast internet, ideal for a group with children. Christophe and his family were very welcoming and always available to help in Person or via the internet/phone. 100% recommended, book asap.
You have created the best house in Collioure ! We have had the most relaxing holiday and enjoyed every moment. Wonderful views - lovely sea and beaches and excellent restaurants.

We have had a fantastic time staying at Maison Brunet despite the heatwave. We have been out exploring beautiful Bastide towns and enjoying wonderful food on offer in the local markets. It has been lovely to come back after a hot day and cool down in the pool.
We had a lovely relaxing week staying in this wonderful house, which is perfectly located for exploring the area-it was just what we needed. Sarlat is beautiful and we enjoyed learning all about the history of this Medieval town as well as sampling the local cuisine. WE hope to come back soon.

The chateau is magnificent - very large and comfortable. It is finished to a very high standard with beautiful furniture, comfortable beds, high quality bedding and towels, and well equipped kitchen and dining room. The location is quiet with beautiful views of the surrounding hills and vineyards. Quentin is a wonderful host. He was eager to make our stay memorable by offering to organize restaurant bookings, local vineyard tours and wine tastings. Thank you, Quentin!
Wonderful stay, 5 children and 8 adults all found happiness. Bedroom, bathroom, very spacious living room as well as a pool terrace perfectly arranged for everyone and the little extra of an outdoor kitchen with barbeque. The proximity is very quiet, in the countryside but at a very correct distance to do activities. We thank the host for making this villa available for our holidays. We recommend without hesitation. Wonderful holidays in Nissan-Lez-Enserune. We had wonderful holidays there. Location was very convenient, inside the village where shops / market were at walking distance. Our car remained within the property, so no pb to park. We took it only to visit the nearby cities of Narbonne, Gruissan and Béziers (20/30 min ride). The house was clean, with recent works being done and well equiped (nice kitchen and bathrooms). Pool was large, clean and surrounded by beautiful oleanders. We'll consider coming again for sure. The entire property was amazing! We found all we needed for the perfect stay. The gardens, full of magnificent roses, and vast yard with many varieties of trees, was a pleasant respite, along with a beautiful pool as a center piece. The furnishings complemented the large house, reminiscing of it’s history, while offering multiple places for a cozy read or gathering for large groups. A culinary delight with gas stove top, plancha, and charcoal grill. The location had easy access in all directions to explore all the amazing sites in the region. A short trip away were small artisan shops and a larger supermarket. We worked our way through the carefully curated basket of books and brochures on the region. Elisabeth and Philippe were gracious hosts making sure we had all we needed, answering any questions, and that we enjoyed our visit.
I just wanted to thank you for providing us with the perfect spot for our vacation week in Provence. We loved everything about your home, the surroundings and the people. As it was my first time to Provence, we had an elaborate plan to visit Aix, Arles, Avignon etc and whereas I am sure they are fantastic places too, however, we ended up exploring the lovely mountain villages surrounding your home and loved every minute. Thank you for leaving the details regarding bike rental and horse-back riding, in the end it was a bit too hot to do either but maybe next time?! The house was great in every way and we loved every attention to detail and your impeccable taste. Again, thank you for a wonderful holiday, we do hope that some day we can return.
One of the loveliest and peaceful lodgings of my two week 1000+km driving tour of South Western France. La Petite Maison Générille is nestled in verdant hills overlooking the most beautiful natural and historical settings in all of France. Though it is located in a hamlet enclave that feels worlds away, it is so conveniently located to access many châteaux, stunning river drives with views of the "falaises" - the ancient cliffs, and numerous restaurants found in charming villages that won't disappoint! Alll within a 10 to 20 minute drive. This is a place that you will want to return to again and again!

Can’t wait for next time. Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to have this time together. Covid delayed our plans but boy it was worth the wait! The proximity to everything has been fab, however the terrace and the pool area is where my fondest memories were made with my family. After a very difficult few years, this holiday has restored and rejuvenated me more than I ever expected. Can’t wait for next time.
We all had a lovely time. The accommodation was so huge that we could all find space when we wanted that and a communal get-together when desired. Our son-in-law really enjoyed cooking on the Aga and produced some spectacular meals. Needless to say that we all had fun in the pool on sunny days.
We had a fantastic week at Sechoir Carme. The villa is absolutely lovely - spacious bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen and a fabulous outdoor space with a shaded area and a superb pool. It had everything we needed for our stay, as well as being close to some wonderful medieval villages to explore. The owner, Richard, provided a comprehensive guide which has lots of useful information about the local area, shops and restaurants. He was also incredibly helpful and responsive when we had a query which was very much appreciated. We genuinely couldn't fault our time there and would highly recommend the property. A perfect place for a relaxing holiday". Thank you so much again, we truly had such a lovely time. Hopefully we will be back!
The villa has been great. We have a lot of villas for a two week holiday and that is the first time we have had that. The two cleaning ladies are really thorough, very attentive and they do a great job.
We had a fantastic holiday at Les Granels, the property was spectacular and was a very memorable family holiday.
Well kept gardens and lovely house. Would highly recommend to anyone. Extras like the UK adapters were a nice touch. Pool made the children holiday. It was also very clean and perfect size and depth. Great hosts, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely stay.
We did have a really, really lovely time in France and we'll no doubt be seriously considering using Pure France again on a future occasion.
