What a most wonderful place to stay. We were with a group of great friends. Didn't know what to expect... but Château Entre-Deux-Mers was mind blowing! The owner had been informing us correctly with all the necessary information we needed in advance. We have enjoyed the beautiful decorated château from the beginning till the end. It is the proof of how a classical building can be reinvented by a good decorator. The kitchen, dining room, living room and all the rooms with their bathrooms were beautiful. The dinner and the breakfast we ordered, were delicious. And the service was elegant and discrete. A true recommendation to go again!

We spent, with our 4 children, stepchildren and our 2 granddaughters, 2 weeks of extraordinary holidays at Domaine Rabassie, from September 12 to 26. Domaine Rabassie is a magnificent place, a true haven of peace, beautifully decorated and more than comfortable. The photos on the site are already very pretty, but the reality is even better. What about the facilities: the super hyper equipped kitchen, the bedding (super comfortable king size beds), the heated swimming pool and its many sun beds, the pizza oven (homemade pizzas cooked on wood, a delight!), Billiard, the ping-pong table and….. the tennis court with, what's more, night lighting. We played tennis games at all hours…. a real pleasure. We cannot, of course, talk about Domaine Rabassie, without talking about the caretakers who live 2 km from the Domaine. They take care of the Estate with passion and perfection, they are charming and so dedicated. They greatly contributed to the success of our vacation. Many thanks to them. Thank you also to the owner for the hospitality (without forgetting the Blanquette de Limoux as a welcome gift). You feel at home at Domaine Rabassie. Holidays to live or relive without any hesitation.

We had the most wonderful week at Maison des Communes. Philippe was charming and very helpful and informative in his welcome and what a lovely surprise to see a beautiful array of cheeses and wines awaiting us! The villa is extremely well furnished and supplied, a delight to relax in and very well situated for exploring the region and nipping down to the many beautiful beaches along the coast. The three different accommodation areas were absolutely perfect for our party of eight, allowing privacy and relaxation for everyone, although most time was spent round and in the lovely pool and letting the nights darken as we sat sipping the local wines in the various outside areas. There is much to do and see in the area and the villa was a real haven to return to each day. What a great week: fabulous breakfast treats, elegant and artistic furnishings, glorious heat and sun in late August and the happiest of holidays. Merci beaucoup, Philippe!

We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. I'm going to preface this review by saying our extended family have hired a number of châteaux over the years, so we have something to make comparisons with! Without doubt this château offered the best value for money we have ever enjoyed. Our party of 18 used all the 10 bedrooms on offer, without anyone having to compromise on bedroom space. The kitchen was large enough to cater for the entire party with plenty of worktop space and a large island unit. Refreshingly there are plenty of cooking utensils and professional sized pans etc. There are three fridges, we used the large stand alone fridge for food,= and the two under counter fridges for 'adults' and kids drinks. The lounge diner is huge and comfortable, with good quality games available, including chess and backgammon. The pool is among the largest we've ever enjoyed with a deep end you can actually dive into. At points we had a dozen people in the pool and still had room to swim around. There are two main terraces, both easily able to accommodate at least 20 people. Smaller seating areas are dotted around the grounds so if inclined you can take yourself off for a bit of peace and quiet. There is a new and very good quality BBQ on the rear terrace with a moving charcoal tray which means you can raise the heat source as charcoal burns away. We were able to BBQ for 18 on half a bag of lump wood. Our party had 5 cars, the driveway was large enough for them to be parked so that everyone could drive out of the château without the need to move another vehicle. Saving the best to last, the sports hall/games room is magnificent. With a full sized badminton court, a basket ball hoop, 2 table tennis tables, table football, a darts board,= and a full sized pool table our whole party had plenty of activities to choose from. This facility was constantly used for weeklong knockout completions including our own decathlon type event. Modesty prevents me revealing who the best pool player was. From our perspective, this vast array of facilities and activities provided the perfect ingredients for our first ever holiday where children needed no entertaining at all. Finally a place they can truly entertain themselves.

A superb stay, we all had a wonderful time, super nice pool, significant air conditioning (at night) even if the electricity rate on arrival seemed exorbitant to us. Eva is very responsive and this is a plus for a peaceful arrival. We were 14 and the house is really adapted, the kitchen is very functional with everything you need to cook well! We will come back (we are already thinking about it).
We have stayed here three weeks. For the first week our family joined us our three sons and partners. This house is full of beautiful objects and we have loved being in it. We have enjoyed the lovely gifts of pastries and bread brought by Phillip. Thank you for those and also the amazing meal that included a cake for my 70th birthday. We have been to the walled city of Carcassonne - well worth a visit. We have been to the beach and our here has been lovely. We are sad to leave and will miss the bird song. I am afraid the cat was not welcomed by our two Pugs and was chased away. The wine tasting at Saint-Chinian was amazing. We bought bottles of wine with amazing art labels as the cave was decorated with such great art-work. So worth the visit. Thank you for the taster wine and for the introduction.
Amazing! is the word. The Loft itself, you as hosts and the location. Our week has been wonderful and made all the better due to the exceptional care and attention you both put into this special place. Your warmth and hospitality exceeds expectations - we cannot thank you enough. We will look forward to returning to continue exploring.
The pool really is warm! Yes the pool really is that warm and the view really is that good. A short term home rather than a place to stay, just lovely. We hope to see you again and send our very best wishes.

Thank you for a great 2-week stay here. The house is lovely and we have enjoyed staying here. Can highly recommend the Château de la Rivière vineyard tour, 10 Euros per person and well worth it. Best meals out we had were at Bistro Pharell (the food is sooo good!) and Bistro Maritime in Libourne - great river views from the terrace. Saint-Émilion is a must - so beautiful. If you are a fish lover, a trip out to Arcachon is well worth a visit. Chez Pierre is amazing for seafood. Dunes du Pilat are also worth the climb for the spectacular views! Sunny evenings by the pool are also amazing. Had a great time overall, thanks so much. PS. We think the tortoise should be called Therry (Titi to short) fora tortoise he can move fairly quickly! And loves lettuce! And tomatoes!
A wonderful stay at the beautiful gite. Sue and Patrick were the perfect hosts. We had lots of fun exploring the areawith our two sons. In particular, we loved the new pool, with our eldest learning to swim on our trip! Thank you for the wonderful stay!
Thank you for a delightful week in a truly charming cottage. Even if the weather was a wee bit shy about showing the sun the house more than made up for it with its character. The 2 restaurants in the village are excellent! (Remember a torch if you're coming after dinner!). Sarlat on a Wednesday (market day) well worth a visit. Saint-Léon is a pretty place with a big choice of "eateries". Lascaux IV is interesting and well presented.! Many thanks Caterina and Steve!
We very much enjoyed our stay in La Forge. Quiet and charming gite with swimming pool in a small, rural village surrounded by beautiful countryside and interesting places to visit. A very helpful yet discreet proprietor, living close by, who was only too happy to help with any questions we had. Highly recommended.

We have been coming to the south of France for over 20 years and Maison Theron was the best we have stayed in. The decor, furnishings and bedding were such good quality, we felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel! The local housekeeper did an amazing job as the house was spotless when we arrived. Thank you so much we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay in the Farmhouse. The weather wasn’t always as perfect as we hoped it would be but the gym, the tennis court and even the excellent piano kept the family fully occupied on the days we could not use the pool. The boys loved exploring the woods above the farmhouse and the parents enjoyed the wines. We were very happy to get a wine tasting on our first day (and we soon realised we needed an extra pitcher so we could water down the delicious grape juice to avoid the kids bouncing off the walls). Very enjoyable facilities and extremely gracious hosts! Thank you. P.S. We can recommend the tree-climbing park at Thoiré.
A stunning villa perfectly set up and loved by our children. The extra touches like coffee machine, Lego for the boys to play with, a bottle of champagne to welcome us on arrival were excellent. The boys loved the heated pool, walking into town for bread / croissants in the morning and lunch on the terrace. Some excellent restaurants in town including Chez Paul, Maison Conti, La Ripaille, Les Palmiers and La Pomme d'Amour. The Pedahorail is not for the faint hearted. Had a lovely holiday. Thank you!
Well kept gardens and lovely house. Would highly recommend to anyone. Extras like the UK adapters were a nice touch. Pool made the children holiday. It was also very clean and perfect size and depth. Great hosts, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Well equipped, nice pool and amazing views! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa. Corinne is a great host, quick to respond and accommodating. The house and especially the kitchen is very well equipped, it had everything we needed and we felt very welcomed. We loved spending the day by the pool and taking in the picture perfect views from the top terrace during the evenings. Seillans and the neighbouring area are a true gem, the nature, nice markets and plenty of local produce. Quiet area but full of life, just perfect. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it!
