We’ve had an amazing time with beautiful weather and an amazing pool to cool down in! The location is perfect to get around and do some sightseeing. We recommend Perigueux, Brantome and market day in Riberac. Your house is one we won’t forget.

We have enjoyed a tremendous week. The weather was fantastic and we made the most of the outdoor living. A few highlights for us: A fantastic meal at L’Effet Maison in Monflanquin. Great service and they were superb with the boys. Château Bonaguil (never found) was a big hit with the boys. It is a large castle and they loved running around and pretending to be knights. Much (much!) further afield, but we enjoyed Angoulême on the drive down from Calais – lots of amazing murals and graffiti. We hope to return to this great house!
We had a wonderful week staying at Maison des Communes. We were made to feel very welcome and our hosts couldn't do enough to help us. Frederica even drove me to the supermarket when we arrived because our car wasn't ready until the following day. The villa is beautiful, very clean and exceptionally well equipped. The garden bedrooms are fabulous with good air conditioning and the hot water was plentiful. Maureilhan itself does not have a lot to offer but we found ourselves very happy in the villa. There is a lot of outdoor and indoor space to relax and we used the pool for several hours each day. We also made good use of the bikes, cycling to neighbouring villages, vineyards and the canal. Maison des Communes was a wonderful family villa and we would most definitely visit again if we return to the area. I would highly recommend it.
A lovely week celebrating multiple 50th birthdays with 4 school friends and their families. We loved the pool and all the space.
Our stay here was the highlight of our recent trip to the South of France. From the minute we drove through the gates we were impressed by the beautiful gardens, house and pool. It is truly a magnificent French retreat and estate. I couldn't recommend the house more highly and I am already planning another trip there soon.
We would like to thank you for the wonderful holiday we enjoyed again last year in Navacelles. This house is a heaven on earth. We stayed here twice over the last 3 years (not 3 times only because we were too late to book). Very quiet, wonderful views and still close enough to restaurants and shops. Everything the website promised us was there. The house is superbly decorated and has a wonderful garden and pool. The kids (and the parents) had their highlight of the year again. We won't tell anyone how nice this place is:-). We ll be back soon...
A really nice villa with peaceful garden. We all especially children enjoyed the pool. Weather was also excellent, we were really lucky. Enjoyed the nature of L'Hérault, walking in Lac du Salagou and the Gorges d'Hérault and swimming in the mountain pools.
We had the most magical week at the enchanting Château Mabrouke. A beautiful house with outstanding facilities set in a most stunningly unspoilt expanse of French countryside. With some gloriously grand rooms in the château, immaculate gardens and seemingly endless out-buildings, Château Mabrouke still had a wonderfully homely feel to it. We enjoyed days spent splashing in the pool, long lunches and drinks with a view. And a couple of nights of being cooked for and hosted by the lovely Martin and Philippa were an absolute treat. Visits to the nearby pretty towns of Foix and Mirepoix were lovely and other places to recommend include the stunning Montsegur and some interesting prehistoric caves near the charming town of Mas d'Azil. All in all a most heavenly escape. We look forward to returning.

Thank you for a memorable week staying in your beautiful house. It is everything you could wish for for a relaxing week away from our busy lives! As it was hot we didn't venture far (apart from a kayaking trip from Riberac) and enjoyed the pool, the BBQ and spending time together as friends. Really perfect.

Thank you for another wonderful stay here at Camirout, our vacation did not start out as we had planned due to the air line company, but we are so thankful that you did the shopping for us. Being so late as we were with the Bastile Day next day you really helped us a lot. Thank you. Except for our traditional trip to Bordeaux we haven’t done much this year except from relaxing at Camirout which is so easy with the beautiful areas you have made. Both of you do such a wonderful job here and we really appreciate all of it. All of us will hopefully be back next year without any delays or cancellations. Once again thank you so much.
We've been lucky enough to stay at Manoir de Fouilloux on two separate occasions and have loved our stay both times. The house has been decorated and equipped to an extremely high standard. The property is blessed with beautiful views and a number of perfectly maintained gardens, ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine, either on the terrace or in the Moroccan courtyard and den or by the swimming pool. It is also within a short distance of picturesque towns and châteaux. If you fancy some wine tasting St Emilion is close by as are the vineyards of Bergerac or maybe a visit to a local food market in Riberac. We are certainly planning to stay again! A wonderful place to relax

Exceptional. Château de la Ronde and its grounds have been beautifully renovated and maintained. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and every aspect has been considered to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The views across to Saumur Castle from the château were stunning.

Everything was made so easy for us - the Loft is fitted out perfectly with so many additional little touches that we wanted for nothing. We particularly enjoyed the barbecue, the fantastic coffee machine (we're buying one when we get home!) and having breakfast and dinner on the amazing terrace. We had a good look round the local area and were particularly grateful for all your tips and recommendations. Dear owners of Le Grand Mas de Valcros. We have just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your home. From the pictures we knew it was going to be a nice villa. However when we walked in we realised it gem! There is really nothing we did not like about your house. Its feels like home to us after one week and it made our family vacation even more precious. We certainly hope to be back in the future!

Le Malardier is delightful. It is so much more than just a holiday home. Every room makes you want to step inside. The house has been so sympathetically restored and is quite clearly a labour of love. Richard and Gay were also the perfect hosts and couldn't have done more to welcome us. If your thinking of booking a week or two at Malardier, do it. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks for a lovely week in your fabulous holiday house, it was very kind of you to let us arrive early so we could easily visit the market. It was quite entertaining seeing the gendarmes trying to organise the market day traffic (and the usual bonkers French parking!) We have stayed in quite a few properties in the South of France but not managed to find somewhere that was both walking distance to a nice town and a high spec house. Yours certainly ticked both of those boxes. Especially with the weather not being on our side, we spent a lot of time in the house and really appreciated all of the luxury living area and kitchen features. The kids loved the pool (and it did stay at 26 degrees!), so we did manage to venture in almost every day, much to the amazement of some of the locals! Thanks also for all of the information and recommendations that you and Lisa sent through before and during our stay. It was very much appreciated and hugely helpful.

Wonderful stay, 5 children and 8 adults all found happiness. Bedroom, bathroom, very spacious living room as well as a pool terrace perfectly arranged for everyone and the little extra of an outdoor kitchen with barbeque. The proximity is very quiet, in the countryside but at a very correct distance to do activities. We thank the host for making this villa available for our holidays. We recommend without hesitation. A fantastic week at the villa. We were lucky enough to get a last minute booking when travel restrictions were listed. We were slightly anxious about travelling in these times but always felt safe and welcomed be the locals. We're so pleased we did come! The villa is very well equipped and Frederic was so informative and helpful. The massive selling point for us was the gorgeous pool and gardens as well as the stunning setting and amazing views from every angle! We spent many nights eating cheese and drinking wine while watching the sun set and then gazing at the star-rider sky. This is definitely one of the most beautiful parts of France we've been too. We enjoyed the local morning's and night's markets in Duras, kayaking down the Dropt river and would recommend visiting local town/villages like Eymet, Villeréal and others mentioned in the guide. St Emilion is also a family favorite and is a must-visit! We now have a car full of wine! Thanks for an amazing week! We hope to be back soon.
We have had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful villa for several weeks each summer for 8 years. We always return to this special house located within walking distance to the restaurants and boutiques of charming Valbonne. My two daughters have grown up returning each summer and every time, the owner has made appropriate updates to make our stay even better. The views and outdoor seating areas are spectacular. The bedrooms are well appointed. We always look forward to this trip and hope we can continue going.
