Thank you to Pure France for the prompt, polite and easy booking process, to the owners of Manoir Coutenson for allowing us to rent the property and also to David, the property manager who greeted us on arrival and was so helpful. Our family of 15 (aged between 1 - 64) have just enjoyed a fabulous week at this wonderful property. It is the most well equipped place we have ever stayed and all the extra touches (including small children's toys and books) ensured a relaxed and easy break for the whole family. We would unreservedly recommend the Manoir to any family group. Thanks again.
We spent, with our 4 children, stepchildren and our 2 granddaughters, 2 weeks of extraordinary holidays at Domaine Rabassie, from September 12 to 26. Domaine Rabassie is a magnificent place, a true haven of peace, beautifully decorated and more than comfortable. The photos on the site are already very pretty, but the reality is even better. What about the facilities: the super hyper equipped kitchen, the bedding (super comfortable king size beds), the heated swimming pool and its many sun beds, the pizza oven (homemade pizzas cooked on wood, a delight!), Billiard, the ping-pong table and….. the tennis court with, what's more, night lighting. We played tennis games at all hours…. a real pleasure. We cannot, of course, talk about Domaine Rabassie, without talking about the caretakers who live 2 km from the Domaine. They take care of the Estate with passion and perfection, they are charming and so dedicated. They greatly contributed to the success of our vacation. Many thanks to them. Thank you also to the owner for the hospitality (without forgetting the Blanquette de Limoux as a welcome gift). You feel at home at Domaine Rabassie. Holidays to live or relive without any hesitation.
Thank you for such a blissful week with you! We have spent many happy hours enjoying your beautiful garden and pool, while exploring the surrounding countryside on our bikes has been idyllic. Highlights have definitely been visiting château Azay le Rideau, Beauval zoo (an hour and a half by car) and a wonderfully relaxed lunch down by the river at La Route du Sel. Thank you for your incredible hospitality, generosity and warmth. We really hope to return next year!
Wonderful week in this lovely house in Sarlat. The house has everything for a summer stay including being cool when temperatures hit high 30s as it did this week. The lush green garden was a real plus for me, so much biodiversity - one urban spot, absolutely loved it. Unbelievably close to everything in Sarlat, we enjoyed our daily boulangerie visits and eating out most evenings-all were good. Short drives to Lascaux caves, fascinating, and canoeing on the Dordogne, which is a must, so many different dragonflies and even a kingfisher.
Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.

A true haven of peace! We had an unforgettable stay in this magnificent country house. The swimming pool is perfect for cooling off and soaking up the sun, while the large terrace offers stunning views of the village. The house is spacious, well equipped, and the atmosphere is calming, ideal for recharging your batteries away from the hustle and bustle. A place that I highly recommend for a quiet and relaxing getaway.
Great weekend with friends. The accommodation is magnificent, clean, with everything you need. The swimming pool is great, as are the garden and the building in general. I highly recommend this accommodation which is ideal for families or groups of friends.
We have had the most amazing week Wow, wow, wow – when I first saw the pictures it looked gorgeous, but when we arrived the villa was even more stunning. Debbie and Brent are absolutely lovely and make you feel so welcome. The grounds were so picturesque. This was our first holiday with our 1 year old baby and we couldn't have wished for a better holiday. Thank you La Bastide!

We had a fantastic week in Sarlat and around. The perfect base for a family holiday. We loved the gardens as Eyrignac and Marqueyssac in particular but there was so much to do and see here The Bistro De L’Octroi across the road is fantastic. Thanks Jackie and Geoff.
A lovely fortnight here in Ventenac-en-Minervois. The house and all of its wonderful facilities are exactly as billed and everything is in first class condition. We enjoyed eating at the 'Grillade du Château' - excellent meat cooked on a wood fire whilst being entertained by their chickens! We also explored villages by the Canal du Midi - Homps and Le Somail and went to the medieval village of Lagrasse which was excellent. Thanks to our excellent hosts, Eric and Dominique, they were extremely helpful and responsive to any queries we had. We recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable holiday.
We've had an amazing time thanks. Visited as many places as the kids will tolerate and we somehow did the Renoir museum without breaking anything!! They’ve both absolutely loved the pool and their swimming has improved loads. Our youngest, Hal, has gone from tentatively swimming 5m to now confidently doing 20 lengths without stopping. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely house!
We absolutely loved being here. The home you’ve created is a beautiful entity, with such thought at every turn, and the surrounding gardens have a tremendous sense of peace. Thank you for all the well-planned details, and the delicious tart that awaited us (and therefore an introduction to the most incredible boulangerie!). We had a great time at this big house. It is very well-equipped for a dozen people. The pool is very appreciated, as well as the amenities offered (pétanque, badminton, ping pong...). Shops are accessible by car. The environment is very quiet, overlooking the fields and the forest which makes the house all the more pleasant.
We had a wonderful stay in the lovely, spacious house. The pool and outside area is absolutely amazing. Also, there are a lot of nice places to visit within driving distance. Highly recommended!
We have had a wonderfully relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable two weeks at this beautiful gite. It has been fantastically and sensitively renovated both inside and out. The pool is an absolute joy to sit by and relax, read and take in the scenery! Also, Pete has been an excellent host, a mine of local knowledge. We enjoyed visiting Monpazier, Issigeac, Villereal and Sarlat.
Absolutely stunning, luxury converted distillery in the countryside of Challignac. Extremely high end furnishings and appliances. Beautiful interior design, all air conditioned and with an amazing outdoor heated pool with spacious patio, cushioned loungers, sofas and outside dining together with BBQ, Boules court and children’s play area all surrounded by beautiful gardens, and stunning tranquil countryside. It was beautiful to sit out with a morning coffee, watching deer walk through the field at the front. The beds were the most comfortable we’d ever slept in, the showers were fantastic, everything is top notch. Gary and Mark made our week extra special with fabulous recommendations of places to visit and excellent restaurants all nearby. They responded instantly to any request we had, but were totally respectful of our privacy unless we contacted them. We cannot recommend staying here enough and are booking for next year.
This is the third visit to the Villa - it's beginning to feel like home! Another wonderful stay- we had great time yet again and sorry to leave the peace and tranquility behind. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay in Provence, we highly recommend this estate (La Bastide 1718) for 8 days to accommodate 35 people for our wedding. We had planned activities throughout the week: hiking, yoga, visiting the butterfly garden without forgetting a visit to a cellar. Our group loved it! We organized the welcome reception, the wedding ceremony, the wedding lunch, dinner and the post brunch at various locations in the Bastide. It was so magical that we thought we were in a dream. The property still has a few things to improve for event planning and long stays but Thomas was welcoming and once there everything was perfect. The wine is also delicious. We love their 10 Euro rosé and drank cases of it during our stay. Their white wines are also very, very good. Their wine is delicious and hard to find in the United States! Overall, I highly recommend staying here. It will clear your mind as you are surrounded by nature, wildlife and vineyards that stretch endlessly. We enjoyed hiking right next to the property every morning. For a city break, you are 45 minutes from the coast, 40 minutes from old Hyères, which is our favorite Provençal town and 10 minutes from a Michelin star restaurant in La Celle. We highly recommend. Their olive oil is also delicious!
We have had another wonderful stay at Villa Gailinette. This is a place where you can feel at home and out of your day to day life at the same time! Thank you so much for all the comfort provided... nothing is missing, all you need is there including peace and beautiful weather.
This was the second time we stayed at La Maison Bosquetere. It is not without reason that we return to this place. Once again we had a very pleasant time for our holiday. A beautiful and well-equipped house in a nice location. Facilities are well maintained. Good base for the area. But also a perfect place to relax, while the children enjoyed the pool.
We had a great stay at Maison du Gua over Easter. The weather was a real surprise (I had packed wellies and jumpers) but it was lovely. Sunny and warm enough for us all to enjoy the great swimming pool and lunch outside everyday. There were three generations staying (10 people) and we all had plenty of room to relax. Our three children (1, 3, 6) enjoyed the huge selection of quality toys, both indoors and provided for the garden. The baby loved the baby swing and his mum enjoyed the huge list of baby extras Mel provided, that made packing so much easier. Mel and Jim are very helpful and quick to respond with anything you need. Our thanks to to the lovely Elodie for making our stay so pleasant.

Special features are the large swimming pool close to the house. Beautiful rural views. In summer there are night markets in surrounding villages where you can buy all kinds of foods, from omelettes to snails, and eat them outdoors on long trestle tables - a treat for locals and tourists alike. A wonderfully relaxing place to stay, highly recommended.
