We have had an amazing time in this wonderful house. We even had a home for our much loved cars. Many thanks to Mike and Natalie for looking after us so well. I am sure we will return!
We are a family from 3 to 78 and thoroughly enjoyed staying at Château Périgord this week. We were fascinated by how beautifully it's renovated and decorated. All couples within our family had a nice room to stay in and the beds were good. The flowering garden, with fragrant lavender and refreshing swimming pool were a real joy. The kids played jeux de boules on the gravel, football on the perfectly trimmed lawn and spent many hours in the pool. We preferred cooking our own meals in the large Médiéval style kitchen (as we all like cooking) and had dinner at a long table at the courtyard. Château Périgord has so many places to sit and to enjoy the atmosphere and beautiful features and games to play that there was no need to do many trips elsewhere. We cycled in the area and did some jogging up the hills followed by cooling down in the pool. Thank you for a fantastic and relaxing stay!
Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable holiday at Mas Saint-Martial! We are a family of four with teenagers (plus a dog) and we spent 2 fabulous weeks at the house. The pool was a stand-out highlight – heated, salt water and fully gated for safety – fantastic family times and memories created playing games. The boules pitch, badminton court and BBQ were also great ways to entertain ourselves. The owners live part of the year in the house next door and are extremely responsive, supportive and welcoming whilst also giving you enough ‘space’ to enjoy the seclusion and peace. In terms of restaurants, there are plenty of very reasonably priced places within easy driving distance – there are plenty of great places to visit too – Aubeterre (with a 9 hole golf range) and Brantôme were highlights for us. We even walked to the local 5 course lunch place at Chez Moran which was amazing and cheap! Their occasional night time events with music and the fish and chip van are great fun. A real gem of a place. Thank you!
We absolutely loved our stay at Château du Pic de Rigaud. It was the best stay out of our 9 weeks in France. The home is stunning, but it was also immaculately clean. My youngest child is crawling, so I'm more appreciative than ever of a clean home. Honestly though, Henrietta (the house manager) made all the difference! From making a doctors appointment for one child and offering to translate, to baby proofing the house and providing all necessary baby items, we were blown away by her level of service. Merci!
We dined at the apartment in the evening as we didn't want to leave! We have just returned from a few days at the luxury pool apartment. The heated pool with the view is amazing. The house is well equipped and we dined at the apartment in the evening as we didn't want to leave. The host lives upstairs and was very helpful, collecting us from the bottom of the hill with shopping bags! We used Uber taxis to travel into Nice and to the airport which worked well.
Thank you Madeline and Alan for being the perfect hosts during our stay at the beautiful 'Camirout'. We had everything we needed for a fabulous stay! The house, grounds and pool are beautiful and it's just so peaceful here. Gavin had the perfect 'big birthday' here too so we will take back lots of wonderful memories of our stay with you. Beautiful renovation with the charm of old stones and the modernity of interior materials. Premium interior equipment. Absolute calm, without proximity to the road. Very comfortable for this property. Christophe available, nice and helpful. It was perfect.
The house was beautiful! Very characterful. Anything you need is present. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Contact was good and clear. This house is definitely recommended for your vacation!
We stayed in Maison Rohmer for 11 nights in June and thoroughly enjoyed the house and peaceful setting at the end of a private track. Everything was very clean and well furnished with excellent bathrooms and plenty of hot water. We swam in the pool every day bar one, when there was a big thunderstorm that drenched the area and had a strange effect of gradually turning the colour of the water in the pool to green, but was perfectly ok to swim in. The owner was on hand to answer any queries we had despite being in the USA at the time of our stay, something that we both appreciated greatly. Gordes and the area around was lovely with so many beautiful towns and villages to explore on foot or bike or car, a great area of France to return to again.
We couldn't have had a more wonderful location to endure the heatwave! Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing holiday. Favourite Moment: The pool (of course)! Morning coffee in Verteillac and the live music last night. Places We Recommend: Brantôme, the church in Aubeterre.
Our family of 10 stayed here for a week and we loved every minute. The attention to detail in the chateau was wonderful. Everything we could have needed was provided. Philippe and Frederique were the most wonderful hosts. We highly recommend Chateau de Marquisat!

Thank you for a wonderful stay In your fabulous house, we spent a week exploring the town, fabulous Sunday market in Nyons, also held on a Thursday. We hired bikes @ E20 per day and played tennis and paddle in Nyons (booked online) we swam in the river nearby, The vineyards around the house are farmed by Domaine Tave, there Audrey La Tarde speaks English and is the real deal. We ran out of time to do all we wanted, ‘we will be back ‘.
We have had the most amazing week Wow, wow, wow – when I first saw the pictures it looked gorgeous, but when we arrived the villa was even more stunning. Debbie and Brent are absolutely lovely and make you feel so welcome. The grounds were so picturesque. This was our first holiday with our 1 year old baby and we couldn't have wished for a better holiday. Thank you La Bastide!
Maison Lanave is a lovely, well-renovated Gascon farmhouse, nestled in the vines with spectacular views. The photos and descriptions match the reality; it is a truly special place. The hosts are proactive and friendly, on-site but not intrusive. Very willing to accommodate our requests and offer lots of useful local information. The area is rural and there's lots to see and do. We highly recommend a stay here.
Thank you for giving us two amazing weeks at your villa. The pool is one of the best we have seen and garden is just stunning. The villa is beautifully decorated and we have all found it vey comfortable. We've have two lovely weeks exploring the surrounding area, without a single minute of television! We spent a wonderful week in the accommodation. We were able to take full advantage of the swimming pool and the outdoor space. The amenities matched the photos and everything was top quality. I recommend the villa to everyone Beach, town and tourist sites are all within a 10 minute radius. We would particularly like to thank Marie Christin for her welcome.

Almost a month of rest at Château Seyches, enjoying the serenity and silence of the countryside. We love old stones, which tell a piece of French history and Château Seyches did not disappoint us. We had a lovely day out in Bergerac a we swam at Lac de Pombonne which was lovely - just a few minutes drive away. We also had a nice evening in Périgueux.
