We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The house is very well equipped for a comfortable holiday. The location was perfect, offering peaceful surroundings while being close to local attractions, restaurants and shops. Loved Saint-Émilion, parked easily and not too busy. Very friendly tortoise enjoyed lettuce and came when quickly we called him Ted. Thank you!
We have had a very enjoyable fortnight in your beautiful house and gardens, despite the unfriendly weather. We go home feeling very relaxed. We enjoyed days out in Chinon, Fontevraud and several of the other places mentioned by others. Thank you for your hospitality, the wine, jam and bubbles. Hope you enjoyed Italy.
We had a very good stay at Villa des Pivoines. Everything was perfect, we had a few requests which were fulfilled with great care and attention. Very responsive host too! The place is very clean, quiet and the environment is magnificent! I recommend.

It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. There were 6 of us, (3 couples) from USA who stayed a week in October at Château des Dragons. Laurence and Marian were absolutely wonderful hosts. They are warm and welcoming and made sure that everything in the château was comfortable. They arranged a wonderful wine tour and were so helpful in answering any questions that we had about the surrounding area. One can easily walk to the nearby village or take a hike in the surrounding farm country and woods. We would definitely return to the lovely Château des Dragons.

You could not wish for more in a holiday accommodation. Everything about this place is perfect – the warm welcome by the hosts, the beautifully designed and furnished gite, the very special location and brilliant views over vineyards, forest and softly rolling hills, the helpful recommendations from Esther and Leonard. We only have one regret – and that is that we didn’t stay long enough.

WHAT A PLACE! The Loft has everything you could possibly hope for - homeliness, elegance, well-equipped, clearly well-cared for, and such gracious hosts; we simply could not have hoped for more. Thank you for all your hospitality, and for providing breakfast on our first day which was an exceptional touch. All the information you have provided has been spot-on, and we can only hope for the opportunity to return to try more of the restaurants (and the wines). From pool days to skydiving and hedgehog rescue, this holiday will live long in the memory - even the techno DJ set in Carcassonne thumping through our dinner, as they dropped the bass during our hors d’oeuvres, made us laugh!
Another amazing stay at Maison Baleyssagues where we were very warmly hosted by Frédéric and his team. Such a peaceful location, sitting proudly on the hill top with panaramic views. Very spacious gardens topped with a beautiful pool and it’s own water fountain. Inside the villa nothing is left to chance with a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms. Looking at the pictures only tell half the story, it’s a superb place, if you don’t book early you’ll miss your chance as this place is always full, I wonder why?
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Pézenas. The villa was superb, well maintained, modern with all up to date appliances. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow but this in no way affected our enjoyment of the holiday. The town was just as we imagined it to be, typically French with an attractive historic centre. Good restaurants, shops and bars all within easy walking distance.
We would thoroughly recommend it. We had a wonderful holiday at La Haute Bastié.

Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your lovely villa. The elegant surroundings of Baleyssagues helped made our holiday here in Duras very relaxing. The hillside settings was the perfect back for to stunning sunsets, sunrises and shooting stars. It was a shame to leave...
We are back home after a really lovely family holiday at Maison Semoussac. The weather was mixed (the rain needed of course) but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. The children loved running down the track leaving little carrots in the hope of seeing hares and picking blackberries which were plentiful. The children's toys and books were wonderful and (surprisingly for their age) they loved playing Monopoly! Marian cooked us a couple of delicious meals too. Thank you so much.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us and making us so welcome. We have had an amazing week - so peaceful and quiet with walks through the forest and saoking up the tranquility of the lake, watching the fish jump and the kingfisher dive. We will take away beautiful memories of Colombat.
If / when we return to continue exploring this lovely area of France, we would hope to be able to stay in 'The Loft'. Russell and Karen have been very welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive and nothing seems too much trouble. Perfect hosts! Sad to be leaving after only a week.

Our family gathering of 6 adults and a toddler was thoroughly enjoyed at this lovely villa. It is very large and spacious with huge bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. It was very generously kitted out, especially the kitchen which had more than enough for our large party. The grounds were very child friendly with safely gates and mainly level surfaces. It was ideally suited to access the lovely town of Pézenas which has an abundance of individual shops and places to eat. We would highly recommend it for a large group and wouldn't hesitate to return
To open the shutters of the pretty red bedroom and see that glorious view, gives one a small inkling of why the 'Sun King' built Versailles! This was my 4th visit to Provence and it hasn't disappointed. Many thanks
