We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. Close proximity to many delightful places of interest. Thank you, au revoir.

We have had a wonderful week in your fantastic home. It has been so peaceful and tranquil here by the pool. Seeing the amphitheatre at Nîmes and canoeing under the Pont Du Gard were the highlights.
Mas du Château was simply perfect. It was spotless, comfortable, peaceful and he was a wonderful host; nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and didn’t want to leave.
The house is amazing. You feel at home on holiday. The house is decorated with care and well kept. The pool is great and very clean. It's the third time we visit the house and we will return again. Thanks to the nice owner. The best time of the year.
Great villa, fantastic weather, good location. The children enjoyed the pool and nana enjoyed the shade of the willow! Lovely beaches like home in Cornwall, if only we had the weather! The jet skiing was awesome and kids caught a squid rock pooling, along with many crabs.
The Loft is wonderful. Beautiful, elegant and peaceful yet still homely - albeit better furnished than our home. We loved our stay and the fortnight flew by. The gorgeous gardens and pool made for a tranquil holiday and a haven after days out in this lovely area. The extra touches of your welcome pack, first breakfast croissants and drinks in the garden were the icing on a very beautiful cake. Thank you. We look forward to hearing of the success of the main house.

We can honestly say that Villa Baleyssagues is the best property that we have stayed in in France. The photographs on the website do not really do the house justice. It is located in a wonderful elevated position, with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The house is equipped to a very high standard with an abundance of crockery and cutlery. There were so many lovely touches, with fresh flower arrangements in several rooms and the best welcome pack we have ever had in our seven years of visiting France. Thanks Frédéric for welcoming us to the Villa and looking after us during our stay. Can you pass on our thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay in their lovely home.
A fabulous house and location, our favourite part was sitting on the covered patio area, enjoying breakfast, lunch and tea looking out onto the fabulous views.

Frans and Kate - what a pleasure to meet you both. As we have reached the end of our holiday here, we are reflecting on the excellent time we have had. Coming from the other side of the world, and taking a chance on brief information and pictures provided on a website, and some positive reviews, we booked for four weeks with both anticipation and trepidation. But from the moment our booking was completed, our experiences have been all extremely positive. We have used the information you provided us, ahead of our travel to France, about places to visit or experience, on an almost daily basis. We appreciated your warm greeting on our arrival. The name Les Chambeaux truly reflects the natural surroundings and the accommodation has been spot on. Being keen cooks, the kitchen has been exceptional. We’ve explored many of the sights you suggested and revelled in the surrounding local village markets and beyond. As hosts, you have shown the perfect combination of support and generosity. We find it hard to realise that our time seems to have come to an end so quickly but our memories will be long lasting. If you dare to catch the big bird to Melbourne, we would love to see you. Or perhaps we will return! Merci beaucoup and à bientôt.
We already came a few years ago. Nothing much has changed within this walls, around Duras or within France. Frédéric as helpful as ever. The perennial aide. Just a short note to say how much my wife and I loved our stay at Les Faures in France last September. We were amazed and delighted at the size of the house with its many rooms and amenities, as well as the mood of relaxation in the beautiful setting which we were able to enjoy while there for two weeks. We enjoyed the large pool area and the expansive grounds, but we particularly loved the quiet and privacy of the country setting, but still near enough to the small local villages, with interesting cafes, markets and old buildings – just right for local drives to explore the beautiful area. So many exciting features - we would give this property a 5 out of 5!
A totally unique experience staying in a tower with a wonderful panorama view of the sea. You can spend hours sitting on the balcony, watching the tide go in and out and the ships coming into La Havre in the distance. At night when the tide is in, the sound of the sea is fantastic and almost feels like you are sleeping on the beach. The tower itself is nicely decorated, clean and kitted out with everything you might need for a holiday. The furniture and fittings are intelligently laid out to maximise the space at all levels so it doesn't feel cramped. Villerville itself was a charming, quiet seaside town with a few bistros and shops, perfect for escaping the usual hoards of tourists elsewhere on the Normandy coast. Definitely worthy of 4.5 star rating and only reasons for not getting 5 stars are lack of free parking on site (although plenty on the side streets behind the tower) and some evenings when the tide is out you get the occasional teenagers listening to music on the sea front until late at night.

Thank you! We have spent a glorious week at The Loft, which feels like a home away from home. You have been fabulous hosts, and your suggestions of places to visit and vineyards to try have been spot on. After ‘confinement’ in Paris for many months, the pool was a joy. We love the garden and it’s shady spots and enjoyed Mack and Mabel’s company. We can see why people return to this wonderful place, and we hope to be one of them very soon.
