Had a lovely restful week here. Kids spent 90% of their day in the pool! A few trips out, one to Olonzac market and the beach, but best days spent at the villa. Stunning views and so peaceful. Enjoying cooking diner and the kitchen has everything you need. Off North in the camper van tomorrow to continue our holiday but will miss the luxury of the villa.
Thank you Nick and Tessa for the most fantastic two weeks in your wonderful house. Frédéric was a star. We relaxed properly for the first time in a long while. Ate delicious food quaffed too much wine and swam all day in your pool. We hope to return one day.
Had a great 2 weeks. All enjoyed Pézenas and surrounds. Visited Montpellier, Sète, Nîmes. Lovely holiday.
Delighted to be the first guests of the season in this magical house and garden. The week went too fast of course but we enjoyed the market in Ribérac. Visits to Bergerac. The owners were great hosts.
The owner has welcome us warmly. Her open plan house is very nice. The pool is very large and we can really swim. For families the house is handy and there are pool toys and balloons. We have spent an enjoyable week at the property.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It provided everything we needed for our family reunion of 3 families – fabulous pool, large garden, lots of outside sitting/dining areas, beautiful and spacious interiors, a large and very well equipped kitchen (we loved the ice dispenser!). The children (1-5) loved the nearby lake where they paddled, splashed about and built sandcastles. Plenty of shade and grass and a good restaurant. We had amazingly good weather so were mostly outdoors but if one hit a rainy day, there is plenty of entertainment (great dvd collection) inside. Having rented holiday homes in France for many years I am sure that the welcome from Philippe was the warmest we have ever had. His kindness and generosity in providing a wonderful welcome pack comprising cheeses, bread, fruit, wine and a tart made our arrival very pleasant. The house is beautifully appointed and every need seemed to have been considered. The layout of the three buildings is particularly suited to large families with two large ensuite bedrooms in one block, a compact double in the pool house and a magnificent master suite in the main house. The facilities are exceptional, with a comprehensively equipped kitchen, air conditioning in the key areas, a great variety of outdoor seating (very comfortable) in sun and shade, a fantastic outdoor kitchen with barbecue and a superb swimming pool, all set in beautiful gardens. Philippe kindly brought croissants or pastries on the (very early) mornings he would silently clean the pool and another large selection of local goodies when changing the sheets after a week. The location is quiet and peaceful yet there are lots of interesting places to visit within a short drive. Béziers and the villages along the Canal du Midi provide lots to do and the coast is only 20 minutes away. This is an exceptional property which feels like a home rather than a rental and you could not fail to enjoy a holiday here.
Thank you for a memorable week staying in your beautiful house. It is everything you could wish for for a relaxing week away from our busy lives! As it was hot we didn't venture far (apart from a kayaking trip from Riberac) and enjoyed the pool, the BBQ and spending time together as friends. Really perfect.
Our family had a fabulous week at your property. The house, the region, the food, the wine - all were typically perfect and in keeping with expectations. Additionally, Pure France.com left no stone unturned and precisely described the property in all its detail - a comforting insurance we have come to rely upon over our last three holidays. For a family or couple wishing to see this area of Provence, I could not recommend it more.
We loved it here so much in 2022, we came back for 2024. Another fantastic stay - the villa is as special as we remembered it. More places discovered, more wine tasted and more memories made. Sete and Montpellier for this visit were a big hit. Kayaking down the Orb from Reals a family highlight. We will be back for a hat trick of visits as we love this villa!

Beautiful house and wonderful grounds - a perfect place to relax. Facilities as expected, lots to do and play with.
Domaine du Château is the most beautiful and well equipped house ever. Better in the flesh than the photographs suggest. We stayed as a group of 11 extended family members and a couple of babies. Largely because of babies and children, we wanted a place with a pool where kids could be when adults were doing other things. Domaine du Château was perfect for this. The owners, have a history of taking groups to rental houses around Europe. They took notes and used them in renovating this property, resulting in attention to detail that makes everything work for a large group. I cannot think of a single thing that was lacking in making the house work for us. There is an exceedingly well equipped cook's kitchen. Every bedroom was beautiful with en suite bathrooms. They have cribs and the ability to turn the bedrooms (or at least some of them) from queen beds to twins. The bedrooms are arranged in pairs with good separation from other pairs of bedrooms. All are well away from public rooms where there might be noise. There are even two pairs of washers and dryers, so no queue for doing laundry. There are multiple outdoor terrace areas and a stunning view from the salon terrace over the pool to the hillside village beyond. The house is about 40 minutes from Beaune in a beautiful rural area. It is a great cycling area. The Voie Verte that runs from Santenay to Nolay might be the most scenic ride in Burgjndy. Once you get on it, you are completely separate from cars and riding on the level through stunning vineyards all the way. The house is also close to the Canal du Centre which is another great biking opportunity along the old towpath. Beware that the house is uphill from both, so the return may be a bit challenging for some riders. We rented bicycles from Bourgogne Randonées in Beaune. They were delivered to the house and were in mint condition. Must not forget Stephen and Lilly, the house managers. They live in a separate area of the property. They are a delightful couple with an enviable history of adventurous living. They were completely unobtrusive, but there to meet any need we might have, including doing the shopping for us one day. On the subject of shopping, do not miss the Sunday morning market in Chagny. There are dozens of vendors with beautiful local produce, cheese and meat, as good as can be found anywhere.
We've had a fantastic relaxing week, Immaculate facilities, superb hosts. What a beautiful place. We enjoyed the pool and playing pétanque.
A beautiful house, fully equipped with EVERYTHING you could ever need or think of! The pool area is just brilliant and we all enjoyed spending the majority of our stay here underwater. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality, especially the kindness and interest you showed towards the girls... Caitlin especially loved Alan showing her all the bugs!! To open the shutters of the pretty red bedroom and see that glorious view, gives one a small inkling of why the 'Sun King' built Versailles! This was my 4th visit to Provence and it hasn't disappointed. Many thanks
You really feel like you're in a family home, which is what this house should be in my opinion. The children were very happy to discover a trunk full of toys and cuddly toys, disguises to pretend they were in the Middle Ages, tons of board games, books for young and old and DVDs. The house is made very pleasant by its layout which means that there can be many people while still preserving their privacy. Finally, we enjoyed the breathtaking view every evening of the valley and in the morning waking up to the castle after going to get our croissants on foot. I also recommend the Monday morning market and the many attractions in the evening.
Extremely well maintained and attractive park. Thought the children's swings and loungers were really good for variety. Excellent facilities. Extremely responsive and discrete service which was excellent. Invaluable housekeeping and concierge service. Thank you!
Truly wonderful holiday. We had a truly fabulous 12 night stay in Château Limousin. We were 3 families comprising of 6 adults and 8 children (from 3 to 9 years old). The château and its grounds including the large gated pool are extremely well maintained and everything you could want. The owners were very nice people and extremely welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday... we’d all highly recommend it.

Piglet is the prfect spot to visit all the graet spots in the Vendée, our favourite being La Rochelle and the Belugas beach. There are wonderful touches of luxury at the house; beautiful linens, towels and bathrobes. Vouvant is a charming and beautiful village. definitely a fabulous find !
We spent a wonderful holiday in Bessan and in your splendid house. We have been to the local market in Bessan. Pézenas is superb, we tasted wine at the Domaine Pal Mas and pancakes at La Riposte in Agde - both worth a visit. The children would have enjoyed the pool until midnight if only we had allowed them. We are very sad to leave and would be happy to come back.
We had two gorgoeus weeks in this fabulous farmhouse. The house is large and spacious with everything you would need. The hosts were so wonderful and made us fell very welcome - nothing was too much trouble! There is plenty to do in the surrounding area - lots of wonderful towns to explore, canoeing, swimming in the lakes and lovely walks. We were two families with 5 teenagers. We all agreed that we would happily go back!
Visiting Le Mas Pouget was like releasing a long exhalation of breath and with it, the stresses of day-to-day life. The house, as mentioned in the other review here, is indescribable. It is an oasis of cool and calm, in a basin of trees and regional wildlife, which soothes the soul. It is a stunning part of the planet and felt like a special, secret place that remains unspoiled. The accommodation is fantastic. Quirky and comfortable, with many social spaces to enjoy your party's company as well as quiet places to escape to when you need time alone. We were seven adults and two children (aged 2 and 7) and all got along famously over the course of our 10 days, thanks to the space provided. Frederic, Virginie and Laure literally could not have been more helpful. We had all manner of questions and they were incredibly receptive and responsive, helping us with any queries and genuinely friendly with it. We think everybody needs this place/space in their lives ;-) Thank you for a wonderful and very memorable holiday.
Everything exceeded our expectations. It was wonderful to meet you both. You have done a wonderful job redeveloping the Loft and there is everything one could possibly wish for. We cannot wait to return. Good luck with the next project and a giant thank you!

Wonderful family holiday, beautiful house and grounds and so much entertain for our 2 years old daughter. The highlight of our two weeks included a wine tour, visiting local markets, eating out and relaxing by the pool. We look forward to our return one day.
