Stayed for over a week. Stunning view from the terrace. Perfectly sized pool. Good rooms with air conditioning.
Thank you for your warm welcome. We had a great stay, the house is very pleasant. The private bathrooms are a real plus, as is the use of the sauna and jacuzzi. We'll be back!
We needed a break away from it all to decompress and chill. We came across La Charmante Distillerie via a recommendation and it completely exceeded our expectations. The kids were away from their devices playing boules, garden football, badminton and even building sand castles. Then cooling off in the pool with lots of pool games to entertain them. Most memorable of all was the welcome! Mark and Gary are amazing hosts. The welcome to their gorgeous holiday home was so genuine as was their hospitality- just at the right level for us. We will certainly return and look forward to star gazing with the house telescope in the clear night skies Xxx

Both (the house and grounds) are absolutely beautiful and fantastic for parents and children alike. Despite a lot of activities in and around the area, we chose to stay 'in' more than we had expected because of how good the house and grounds were. The house exceeded all of our expectations and we all had an incredible time making good use of all that was on offer! Stuart and I particularly enjoyed the table tennis which got quite competitive! There is everything you need in the house, including BBQ lighters! It was like staying in a hotel with plush towels and soaps ready for us. Local auberge was very relaxing and served great food. Well worth a stay.
We have had a great week here visiting our daughter Eliza who is studying French in Montpellier. Lisa et al very helpful and the home has provided us with much fun and relaxation. Also great for walking into town and going on excursions. Thank you!
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Cherry Farmhouse. The outside BBQ area and pool, were the highlight of the holiday with fantastic views over the surrounding countryside, which were ladened in bowing sunflowers. The area was just so peaceful. Both our girls adored the pool which was just perfect for two young budding swimmers. Property was well equipped and the hosts, Stephane and Cathy were lovely and very attentive. Thank you for the lovely tomatoes!! A perfect holiday, lots to see and do, to which we hope to repeat again soon!
We had the most wonderful stay at the Château Périgord. The building is so incredibly beautiful and full of atmosphere. We all loved it and will have many happy memories from our stay here. Merci beaucoup!
We have spend a wonderful holiday at the villa. The villa is ideal, spacious and nicely decorated. The children loved the pool and the table tennis table! It is an ideal base to visit the region. The market in Pézenas should not be missed. We have driven a boat, ridden horses and hired bikes in Marseillan and seen flamingoes! Dream holiday. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. It seems but a moment since we arrived two weeks ago, but we have had a lovely time. Thank you for your hospitality and wonderful company. What a pity we couldn’t come in June, but we are optimistic about next year. It feels much safer here in France than it does in England - we saw much more of Rieux than we have before, and have had some splendid meals. Our favourite is definitely l’Abbaye de Fontfroide, though Relais de Chantovent comes a close second. Until next June.
We celebrated a week's holiday with 6 adult children and 2 grandchildren. The house is equipped with all modern conveniences, has a beautiful and complete interior, but still has an authentic appearance. The space in and around the house is gigantic and there is plenty of entertainment for everyone: from a nice swimming pool with many sun loungers to a room with numerous games and a good tennis court. Highly recommended for a family holiday. We will definitely go back again.

Our family of 10 stayed here for a week and we loved every minute. The attention to detail in the chateau was wonderful. Everything we could have needed was provided. Philippe and Frederique were the most wonderful hosts. We highly recommend Chateau de Marquisat!
Beautiful maintained home and grounds. Excellent facilities for young families. All modern and child / baby amenities provided. Daily housekeeping was an added bonus compared to previous holiday rentals.

Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing stay. We know the area well but usually stay in more rural areas. What we absolutely loved most was being able to stay so close to the incredibly beautiful town of Sarlat whilst having the feeling of being completely remote! The wonderfully enclosed garden and pool gave us a rural vibe with all the benefits of being able to walk to amazing restaurants every evening. Your villa definitely provided the best of both worlds for us and we will definitely be back.
Fabulous house and grounds – loved it. Very high standard, cleanliness, and equipment. Ideal for 3 generations – children loved the playroom. Two catered meals – excellent and much appreciated. Very friendly and hospitable hosts couldn't do enough for us.

Thank you for a lovely stay at Mas des Rivailles. Our family of five stayed there for two weeks in August 2023 and we had a great time. It is very spacious and modern, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The pool temperature was perfect and we found the salt-water quite pleasant. The sun loungers and pool set up allowed for relaxing moments poolside and we especially appreciate the very large games room with table tennis, billiards and football table as well as numerous toys for our three children. The bedrooms were clean and fitted with quality sheets and soft towels as well as sufficient storage space for our belongings. The laundry room/pantry was also very helpful for storing food and washing our clothes with ease. Frederic was helpful and attentive as always and made our stay very comfortable, bringing over extra fans when we requested as our stay coincided with a heatwave. The proprietor's family who live on the farm next door were very friendly and helpful and responded to any issues we had. The location of the house is also convenient for exploring the region with many interesting towns and activities a short drive away. We would definitely recommend! Thanks again.
