The apartment is incredibly cool and offers a breathtaking view from the large balcony. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, which suited us very well. We will definitely go back. It is good to know that there is no grocery store in the immediate vicinity. It is recommended to have a car if you do not choose to do your daily exercise in connection with your purchases. :)
We had a wonderful stay, the apartment is beautiful and the local area is lovely. Don't really have any recommendations - everything was great!
Perfect Visit in Every Way. We have just returned from our time at Chateau Bourgogne, and I am struggling for words to adequately describe our visit. Of course, when you have planned accommodations in a structure begun in the 1100s, you are a little concerned on the modern conveniences on which one is now dependent. Put those fears at rest! The Castle has been carefully and thoughtfully updated and our stay could not have been more pleasant. The rooms, linens and private areas are all very comfortable. The baths have been updated and easily accommodate a large party. We used the kitchen often to deliver every type and level of meal – from a quick nosh – to a five-course delight. The Great Room is my favorite with a fire place large enough to walk in and efficient enough to keep all comfortable. There is a Bluetooth enabled speaker system for that added touch as you relax, and Wi-Fi to stay in touch with the outside world. We were close to other towns and day trips were easy and fun! My only complaint is that it was too cool to use the lovely pool or sit at the table at the front entry and admire what must be beautiful flowering vines that grace the entry – but we were graced with snow which was magical! We can’t wait to return!
We have had aan amazing 2 weeks here. Honestly this house is gorgeous. The sunsets here are like no others. Would recommend visiting local wine producers, cycling through the vineyards and generally exploring the local area. We also visited a bunch of markets up in the mountains and went to watch the Bastille day fireworks. Would love to come back soon!

We stayed at the end of June to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday with family and friends (16 of us). The setting is beautiful and looks out over a valley which is particularly nice in the evenings whilst relaxing on the terrace with a wine or two. We had a fabulous holiday. There's something for everyone at the château, lots of activities in the sports hall to keep everyone occupied but what we especially enjoyed was the vintage swimming pool and the golf course which was challenging but enormous fun. Our week flew by far too quickly and we will certainly look to return. Thank you to the owners Nicky and Richard for making us feel so welcome and for making my wife's birthday such a special occasion.
We had an amazing two weeks in the sun, we spent some days by the pool. You can swim and look at the stunning view of the hills in the distance. The apartment is spotless and has everything we needed at the start of our holiday. The owners can speak English which is helpful if you needed anything which we didn't. We would love to go back again.
Wow… what an amazing villa, it's just so beautiful. We had an amazing family holiday… Debbie and Brent also made our experience so memorable and really have provided a fantastic service.

We had a very good stay at La Ferme Éclaircie which met all our expectations. We were very grateful for the initial supplies ( tea, coffee, wine , orange juice, loo paper etc ) which make a huge difference. The information pack - which was really useful. The maps. And the house was delightfully furnished and well supplied. We loved the area.

Very quiet with swimming pool in the heart of a pretty little village - Very well maintained and flowering garden with superb views of the Dordogne - Interior decoration - Friendly welcome - Geographic location (30mn from Sarlat-la-Canéda or Domme) - The region is superb and the activities are numerous: visits to castles or towns, bike rides or canoe trips ... In short, to recommend!
Eva was extremely helpful and gave us great dinner recommendations. The house is perfect for a relaxing vacation, a beautiful swimming pool and an incredible interior. Ideal place to reside, we highly recommend it.

Wholeheartedly recommend. We enjoyed our stay from the first to the last second. The house is wonderful and the location is fantastic. The view is simply breathtaking. Everything was clean and the communication with the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. We can wholeheartedly recommend a stay to everyone and will definitely come back. Thank you very much for our stay in this amazing house- everything has been provided that we could have possibly wanted. We particularly enjoyed playing ping-pong and enjoying the warm evenings on the terrace. St. Emilion was a highlight and we also enjoyed trips to Bordeaux (which I will definitely revisit for a longer break in future). We enjoyed meals in the village.
Perfectly equipped isolated house with magnificent view! We only occupied the villa and we felt very good there. There is a way to all be together around the pool or to isolate yourself in one of the many designated areas. Just one recommendation, don't forget your flip flops to go from the house to the pool because there is some gravel on the path.
Your house has been such a beautiful place to spend a week of our holiday. We've loved every minute - so much so that we didn't go far from Le Chambarru. The attention to detail was fantastic - from the decor to the 'welcome basket' to our name on the gate. The only thing missing was that we only stayed for 7 nights. Magnificent residence on the edge of the Château de Duras. Neat, tasteful decoration and very comfortable bedding. We spent very pleasant moments all day long around the swimming pool which has its own summer kitchen. Nice aperitifs on the terrace with a splendid view of the cypresses at sunset. Walking distance to the center and all shops. We loved it and really hope to come back.
