It is early spring. My husband and I decide to go to the South of France for a fortnight. Our eye has fallen on La Picholine. It is in the Gard region and close to nice places. Like Uzès, Nîmes, Avignon. What a surprising place on arrival. Two enthusiastic owners, proudly showing off their new domaine. There are two gîtes. A large swimming pool, several terraces and expansive views. Our gîte is very comfortable. Spacious living room with dining kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bedroom is very spacious with good mattresses. Large bathroom with two sinks. As it can be quite chilly in the evening in spring, this cottage has a wood-burning stove with hot air conditioning. It is comfortably warm then. The garden is tastefully decorated. You have your own privacy and that choice is nice. We had a lovely two weeks here and will definitely come back next year. Thank you Esther and Leo for your hospitality.
Excellent home and facilities. Everything exceeded our expectations. Lovely space. Catering: deicious - it was so lovely to arrive to hot food after a long journey and to not have to worry about shopping for the first few days. Friendly and approachable service. We had a fantastic holiday and will book again for next year. Thank you both so much!
We just wanted to thank you for the bottle of local wine and to let you know that we had a very nice time at Villa Corbières last week. Also, it worked well liasing with Ian who was welcoming and very helpful. The house is great and the garden looked really nice.
We had the most wonderful time at Villa La Baronne. I think our children spent most of their time in the pool. Beautifully decorated house with plenty of space for all our family.

Wow what a villa! Absolutely fabulous week's holiday. 4 adults and 2 young children. The pool was a great thing to have with the grandchildren loving every moment in it. Weather has been very hot so very much appreciated the a/c in the bedrooms! Thank you Pascal for being there when needed. We cannot recommend this villa and its location highly enough. Like others before us, we would love to think we may return one day. Just to say, 1 of us drove over 1,000 miles to be here and it was worth every long one of them.
The family and I had a lovely stay at your house, Les Rocans. Your house, Les Rocans, has obviously been the subject of careful and loving restoration in many parts and it was lovely to stay there. The location is stunning, one could not tire of the views from the hillside. During our stay the weather was blistering hot sun and maximum temperatures around 36-38 degrees C. However, the breeze coming up the hill tempered the heat to make it quite tolerable. The trees you have carefully left near the swimming pool gave really good shade; it was my favourite lounging place. The swimming pool was so enjoyable, especially in the heat. Water temperature was the same as the heated pool in our local Virgin Active gym complex, occasionally higher, so our 4 year old grandson spent large amounts of time in the pool. Again, a lot of thought has clearly been given to the siting of the pool. There is a lot to do and see in the surrounding countryside. Our regret is we didn't get out as much as anticipated as the heat was a little too much away from Les Rocans. The few trips we did make showed how picturesque that part of France remains, especially around Sablet / Seguret / Vaison. Definitely we shall explore more next time, perhaps at a quieter time of year. Kevin, thank you for providing a place which gave us all much enjoyment for our weeks stay. The whole family wished they could have stayed longer. We did our best to cherish your house as you so obviously do.

The house and the grounds are fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area. The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc comfortable. The kids loved the swings etc and the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. The food was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. Had a great 2 weeks. The house and gardens / pool are amazing - fresh air, beautiful scenery and sitting out every evening was so relaxing! The house is so well equipped and the kids really enjoyed all the facilities. Would absolutely recommend Orchard Farmhoue to anyone coming to the region. The location in great - so easy to get to Bergerac, Perigeux. Thank you for a great holiday.
We are truly sad to be leaving this incredible house, beautiful landscape and extraordinary people. We have felt truly ‘at home’ here and have so enjoyed being ‘en famille’ in such a wonderful house. You have both been so welcoming and we go home feeling we have made good friends. We’re now even more determined to find our own ‘patch’ of this wonderful region to call home. A Bientot’. I spent a few days with my family at Le Mas Pouget The stay there was fabulous, particularly because the place is very refined and because the location is ideal for excursions in the Cévennes park
We have had a brilliant stay - The villa is fantastic- kids have spent house in the pool and learning to play pool. Everyone has enjoyed it so much it feels a real wrench to leave. Hope we can visit again some time.
We've been lucky enough to stay at Manoir de Fouilloux on two separate occasions and have loved our stay both times. The house has been decorated and equipped to an extremely high standard. The property is blessed with beautiful views and a number of perfectly maintained gardens, ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine, either on the terrace or in the Moroccan courtyard and den or by the swimming pool. It is also within a short distance of picturesque towns and châteaux. If you fancy some wine tasting St Emilion is close by as are the vineyards of Bergerac or maybe a visit to a local food market in Riberac. We are certainly planning to stay again! A wonderful place to relax

If you are looking for calm in a peaceful environment, Le Mas de Combet is for that! it is very well equipped, nothing missing! a huge and well maintained lot with this very friendly view of a small lake and the forest . the terrace with its large pergola is ideal for resting or having a drink . we enjoyed the large swimming pool with its summer kitchen. hosts are exceptionally kind and welcoming . we recommend without hesitation.

A beautiful house, fully equipped with EVERYTHING you could ever need or think of! The pool area is just brilliant and we all enjoyed spending the majority of our stay here underwater. We have had a great stay in this beautiful house in the most beautiful area. We've swam, played ping pong and cards against Humanity! We've all been up the fortress Tower and kayaked down the rapids! Weekend with friends. We had a pleasant stay. David and Kirstie's house is beautiful. The environment is very calm and relaxing. The house is very large, the rooms are spacious, the bedding comfortable. Each room is equipped with a bathroom. David and Kirstie are very attentive and available hosts. I recommend.
