Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed the house and the boys (13 and 11) loved the pool! It was a great place to have as our base and we explored the Dordogne and Lot enjoying kayaking, zip-lines, châteaux, markets, medieval towns, caves and gardens. Monpazier was one of our favourites! Thank you again.

WHAT A PLACE! The Loft has everything you could possibly hope for - homeliness, elegance, well-equipped, clearly well-cared for, and such gracious hosts; we simply could not have hoped for more. Thank you for all your hospitality, and for providing breakfast on our first day which was an exceptional touch. All the information you have provided has been spot-on, and we can only hope for the opportunity to return to try more of the restaurants (and the wines). From pool days to skydiving and hedgehog rescue, this holiday will live long in the memory - even the techno DJ set in Carcassonne thumping through our dinner, as they dropped the bass during our hors d’oeuvres, made us laugh!

A very belated note to say thanks very much for your help in making our stay in Les Rocans go smoothly. We had a great time and loved how relaxed it was. We were considering rebooking for next year however Mum has just announced she will be taking a larger place to celebrate her 70th in next summer, so the good news is she will pick up the bill (!) but the bad news is we can't stay with you again next year. We will however certainly bear Les Rocans in mind for the future as we had a thoroughly relaxing time.
We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful holiday at Maison Montjoi in south-west France. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, and they made sure everything met our needs throughout our stay. The charming cottage was tastefully furnished in a French country-chic style and had everything we, as a retired couple, needed. The spacious garden had comfortable seating and dining options as well as a luxurious, well-maintained pool to cool off in after a hot day sight-seeing. The surrounding countryside is very picturesque with gently, undulating wooded hills and arable rich valleys. Rivers, lakes and canals also criss-cross the region providing many options for cycling and walking. Dotted around are medieval bastide towns and villages which are well worth exploring: Puymirol, Lauzerte and Moissac. Our hosts tipped us off with excellent recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to dine at. Our favourite restaurant was La Cage aux Oiseaux in the beautiful small hamlet of Mountjoi, minutes from the cottage. We also enjoyed the traditional Tuesday market in Valence d’Agen and the jazz night at the friendly café in Castelsagrat.
Lovely villa, boys enjoyed the pool and the garden! Had great trips to Montpellier and Carcassonne. Visit Pézenas on a Wednesday evening and visit all of the artisans stores! For beaches the long stretch between Sète and Agde is very quiet.
Amazing lunch spreads on the big table every day accompanied by tasing of rose and red wine. Stunning BBQ dinners every evening. Sitting by the pool, staring at the view and saying 'wow'! on a regular basis. Kids very happy in the cinema for slightly too many hours! What a stunning pace and what a privilege to have visited here. Thank you. Look forward to returning one day.
A delightful week spent in a beautiful corner of France. We are at least 20Kg heavier! (Shared between four people, in our defence). Extremely comfortable and tasteful accommodation - thank you for the warm welcome.
We loved staying in your beautiful home. The facilities, garden, decor and views were stunning. Frederic has looked after us so well. We have taken long country walks, visited local villages and markets. We went to Les Eyzies for tones of incredible caves including Rouffignac. Wonderful stay in a beautiful home. The house was very comfortable and the swimming pool was great. We spent some time in the nearby towns / villages. Pézenas, Vias, Béziers and Cap d'Agde. The Sunday morning market in Besson is a must. The area is great for cycling with all of the nearby villages easily accessible. Very sad to be leaving. Thank you very much.

Your house is lovely and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable week. I think I can safely say that in all the years of hiring holiday accommodation in France we have not stayed in such a well appointed and well equipped property. The house is perfectly equipped, clean and located in a fairly quiet area.
My extended family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The house itself is a magnificent old stone building, which has been decorated in a very elegant manner. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and we very much appreciated the coffee machine. Younger family members enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. Being an old house, it does have some quirks, but these are very much outweighed by the charm and grandeur of the rooms and outdoor areas. The location is scenic and peaceful - but within reasonable driving distance of area attractions such as Lascaux and villages along the Dordogne. The local village is lovely, with a handy small supermarket, great boulangerie and several restaurants. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

We’ve had an amazing time with beautiful weather and an amazing pool to cool down in! The location is perfect to get around and do some sightseeing. We recommend Perigueux, Brantome and market day in Riberac. Your house is one we won’t forget.

An excellent villa - with everything one could need including a good selection of herbs in the garden for those who enjoy cooking. Pézenas is a lovely place - lovely potteries (some going home with us) good restaurants and bars - spoilt for choice. Delight to discover that the description is perfect. All in all a 5 star holiday.

We've had a lovely week here at the villa. It's been especially good for our youngest family member who has really enjoyed playing here. We loved the heated pool, especially when the clouds come over the fun can continue. Absolutely recommend a trip to see Carcassonne for those wanting a day trip, but remember to check what is open. We stayed a week during very hot weather so the sparkling pool was used daily. Thonac is close to several other delightful towns and villages and the local hotel outdoor restaurant is fun, with good food. The cottage is very well equipped with an inviting garden area. This was altogether a perfect spot for our holiday.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room.
