A very beautiful house and property. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful and are British so they speak both French and English which is a plus. Since the guest house is located to the side of the main house, you will also have privacy whenever you want. The guest house is wonderfully decorated in a typical French/British style. A large kitchen, a large bedroom with very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom with bath and shower. You have your own terrace where you can start the day with breakfast and a breathtaking view of the garden and the horses :) The host gave us advice and also brought us into the forest where we had a night cap. They helped us find a gig and also lent us their grill and let us use the washing machine. We highly recommend and would love to return. Thanks.

I had very high expectations for this accommodation, based on the photos and descriptions. But the castle was even more incredible than we dared to imagine. We were four families, 15 in total, on a graduation trip across Europe. It's the only place we could all be together and our days there were the highlight of our trip. This place is PERFECT for large gatherings. So much room, so many places where we could all be together. Amazing food. The pool was awesome. I can't say enough how perfect it was for our group.
Impossible to overestimate how very kind and helpful are the two hosts, Caterina and Steve, Cottage Du Jardin is peaceful and very comfortable. It’s wonderful to have a comfortable sofa in the gite as we know from experience. Everything you need is there: washing machine, dishwasher, washing line, fridge, freezer, UK TV channels et cetera. The TV takes DvdS. The long pool is set among beautiful plants in the garden. You can do 20 back strokes, it’s so long, the sun loungers are comfortable. Shady table for cool lunches. Intermarche just up the road. The best thing is that the local casino little shop has daily bread and there are two restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended by two France veterans. Visit Lascaux 11- one English tour a week. You’ll remember it for life. And visit Le Bugue market on Tuesdays - Bruno’s town in the Martin Walker Books. Lots and lots of fiction in the cottage; save on your packing weight.
Extremely comfortable and stylish accommodation in renovated old buildings. Beautiful pool area a short walk from self-catering accommodation. Very quiet, perfect for families and couples. A short walk to Montsoreau for morning baguette and a small grocery. This place has everything; comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi and kitchen facilities. Great location in the Loire Valley for sightseeing or relaxing beside the pool.

Wow - what a fantastic place to stay! Hugh and Ian are wonderful hosts and have made sure everything we need us available to make our holiday such a relaxing one. The grounds are beautiful and the pool has been glorious to cool down in the summer heat. It was great to meet Oscar your stunning dog too. Thank you for another wonderful stay at Manoir de Fouilloux. So memorable as it was our little girl Clemmies first holiday!
We stayed at Maison Sainte-Croix in June last year and I have to say, we had a fantastic holiday. The spacious house is very comfortable and there is plenty of room for everyone. We particularly liked the choice of terraces to enjoy the magnificent views at different times of the day. We had many enjoyable afternoons tasting wine in the various local villages and were glad that we drove rather than flew so that we could take home some of our favourites! We found some very good restaurants in Vaison and the street market is well worth a visit. Many thanks!

Richard and Meryl are the greatest hosts. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Love Poppy! The Tournesol gîte is home from home, comfortable, everything you would want is here. Location is stunning, great views. Loved our spot under the walnut tree. Highlights - Monflanquin, Saint Cirq Lapopie, Auvillar and Condom - Bourg de Visa was a fantastic central hub for visiting all these places. Thank you Meryl and Richard for a great holiday. We had a great stay in Maison Rohmer. The house was beautiful and had all you could ask for a family of four. It was incredibly hot while we were there so we found ourselves spending most of our time in the pool, which was lovely. The owner was also very helpful and the location in the heart of the Luberon is hard to beat. Highly recommended.
We were thrilled with our stay. Debbie was available and very attentive to our needs. She was very efficient and discreet at the same time. We enjoyed the beauty and silence of the place as well as the very large space with the pool at our disposal. Debbie really made us feel at home. We would like to thank her again for her kindness and the pleasant stay she allowed us to have with our children and grandchildren!
We found this property last year, returned this year and have already booked to come back again next year. That must say it all.
The gîte is perfectly equipped, within a wonderful location with fantastic views. A completely restful and relaxing time, which is exactly what we wanted. The pool providing the ideal entertainment for the children, with the added bonus of Richard's net for competitive games of pool volleyball! Places to go - Bourg de Visa - market on a Tuesday evening, Brasserie and local goat farm Montage de Quercy - market on a Saturday morning Bonaguil at Fumel - great castle (although lot of steps) Le Boulve - local wine producers - free tasting and interesting tour Richard and Meryl were fabulous hosts - very generous with they time and knowledge. We really don't want to go home. So we have decided to squat! Plus we have fallen in love with Poppy! Thanks for everything.
Thank you so so much for a wonderful stay we had a fantastic time and the house couldn't of been better suited to our needs it was great. And it was spotlessly clean. We managed to get out and about on lots of outings so we covered a huge area which is just what we wanted. Really good luck for the rest of the summer I hope things go well for you. We will see what happens next year but we really hope to see you again. Back to the rain in England I'm afraid! All the best.
So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. My wife and rented Maison Rohmer for a month. the owner who lives in London was accessible by phone, she was absolutely fantastic, very helpful and was there for us by telephone if we had any questions. the location is in the country, very quiet and in a great location for discovering Luberon, hill towns, scenes to sketch and paint, some level dedicated bike trails for bike riding (can rent in Coustellet), so all in all a wonderful experience, the inside of the home was very comfortable, sizeable rooms, great shower, so now hesitation whatever to anyone who is looking for a place in the country side with a pool.
We had a lovely time. Such a cosy comfortable, peaceful place to stay. We are sorry to leave!
We very much enjoyed our visit to this area with its wonderful beaches and gorgeous scenery. Your warm welcome on our arrival helped us to settle in to this beautiful villa and it is obvious you have spend many years in furnishing it. A home of which to be justly proud.
This is our third visit to Villa Kali and we enjoyed it very much as before. We managed to visit L'Hacienda near Bessan and had a most enjoyable evening. Diane is very helpful with any specific dietary requests and it was a bonus that she spoke English. Very happy to say its a 5 from us again. Many thanks.
Perfect! Cottage du Jardin is beautiful with real attention to detail and the pool is amazing! It was lovely and quiet but close enough to everything we needed, lots of historic towns/villages with great markets to wander around and great chateaux! Would absolutely stay again, a lovely relaxing holiday.
We just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday in your beautiful house. You have made everything so comfortable and easy and it was such a joy to stay there. The location was perfect, such a peaceful spot with stunning views, in a pretty village. It exceeded all of our expectations. The region is so interesting too. We loved it all but especially the salt water swimming pool and the way you have landscaped the whole outside areas. We spent as much time as we could relaxing there. I hope we can return for another holiday soon! Thank you from us all. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. It really was perfect.

It is with a heavy heart that this 3-generation family are leaving this wonderful and magical place! We have spent a week here and we all agree that it was not long enough! Where do I begin? The château itself is truly gorgeous and to be lucky enough to stay in one with magnificent views is a dream come true. We have stayed in many places over the years and can see that a lot of thought has gone into making this such a comfortable holiday place for all, including tiny children. We hope to come back! In the meantime many thanks to Henrietta for all her help pre- and during our stay. She even organised the purchase of a new cot for our 3 year old grandson. Very thoughtful and well beyond the call of duty.
A stay in immaculate cottage with small front garden and very large pool adjoining the owners beautiful historic house. Charming hosts, very helpful when needed, otherwise considerately discreet. Lovely area with lots to do and visit. Would certainly recommend it for a relaxing holiday.

Fantastic stay in an amazing location. We were 6 adults and 5 children staying for 2 weeks. The weather was still mild and sunny in October and the views on the Corsican mountains and the bay of Ajaccio were stunning. The villa is spacious, very well furnished and in top shape. We used the living room fireplace (it has an extraordinary sixteenth century mantelpiece) every night, it was magical. It is a great place for families.
