We have had a wonderfully pleasant stay at Le Malardier. The weather was very hot for a few days and much rain is needed. The views and layout of the property are very suitable for a large family group. The years of construction and design have really paid off. So, thank you for your kind hospitality.
We have been lucky enough to stay at Château Trieux a number of times and what a truly magical place it is! From the moment you approach the house, through fields of sunflowers, you feel transported into your dream holiday. Whatever your thing is - be it relaxing by the pool, playing tennis or just sitting by the river under the shade of the trees contemplating life - Château Trieux has it all. A visit to the market at Monflanquin is a must or enjoy a relaxing kayak along the river. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We will be back!
We just wanted to tell you that we really enjoyed the stay in your wonderful house. You have thought of everything to make it so nice and our daughter said that she had come to paradise... All the people that we met; Alan and Cathy, the pool and garden guys and the cleaning ladies were all so nice and helpful. Real assets! And the Rosé in the fridge... This was a very welcome gesture that we enjoyed after the long drive down. Thank you again for sharing your lovely house with us.

Thank you so much for enabling us all to relax completely in your amazing home! Upon our arrival, you were so accommodating and kind, recommending we make ourselves at home. After a luxurious soak in your swimming pool (and bath!!) we settled down for a really electrifying night enjoying a storm that lit up the skies and land all around. The next morning was spent at Issigeac market, sampling the local food and checking out the boutiques and atelier craft shops. The rest of the day and next two days were spent relaxing, reading, painting and playing in the pool with our son. Your pool is amazing!! And the hours passed so quickly and James just didn’t want to get out. (You've created a wonderful piece of heaven Florence) The rest of the week was spent checking out the local area including: La Roque Saint Christophe and Maison Forter de Reignac to discover how things have changed here over the past 55,000 years of human settlement. (Highly recommended……along with a trip to Lascaux, Montignac - Amazing!!) Le Chateau de Biron and Monpazier between showers. This has proved to be a really relaxing vacation. We’ve had a fabulous time and felt very much “at home”. Thanks so much Florence.You’ve created a wonderfully luxurious abode! Au revoir!
My family stayed at La Barde for a fortnight in 2018 and we are returning with friends in 2019. The house is well set up to accommodate two families and a large number of children. The garden and grounds are particularly well maintained. The sitting room opens directly onto a lawn, which is great for supervising small children and the extended grounds offer loads of space for children to explore. The setting is quiet but easily accessible to Ribérac.
A wonderful location with stunning views and beautiful sunsets, Mas Saint Cernin was the perfect venue for a relaxing family holiday. The Grange itself was great in every aspect: from the space, cleanliness and tastefully decorated rooms, through to the general facilities and the exceptional warm hospitality from owners John and Lesley. The large and well appointed swimming pool where the five children in our group spent many hours splashing as children should on their summer holidays was used by us every day. There were pool toys plus plenty of sun loungers for all the group to relax on and soak up the rays within the secluded private garden. Mas Saint Cernin was a home-from-home in a beautiful part of France and we could quite happily have taken up residence; it was with regret that we had to wave farewell at the end of two glorious weeks.
Our second time here and more amazing than ever. A beautiful home and stunning location. Superb food and atmosphere. We highly recommend it ! The town of Brantome, too - it is gorgeous ! We will be back again. - family O-H
Time seems to pass so quickly when staying in this lovely house in such a lovely place. We have enjoyed a glorious week with many happy hours in and around the pool with our children and grandchildren. And, we have enjoyed exploring – once again – this beautiful part of France. We have had a very enjoyable fortnight in your beautiful house and gardens, despite the unfriendly weather. We go home feeling very relaxed. Such bliss, stunning retreat with luxury home comforts We have stayed 2 years in a row and have loved every minute. Relaxing, peaceful, comfortable luxury accommodation with everything a family or group could wish for. Manoir de Saux is very well appointed, with luxurious beds and lovely en suites. The heated pool is generous, as are the grounds and reception areas. Set in tranquil countryside yet within a short drive of picturesque historic towns.
A lovely place to stay. Hospitable reception. Beautiful surroundings within easy reach of Orange, Avignon, Pont du Gard and Uzès. Highly recommended.
Stunning property overlooking lake. Property is in great location but not isolated, walking distance to bar, restaurant, Boulangerie and takeaway pizza shop (or 2 minutes in car). Property is in excellent condition and is very clean and well looked after, the pool is great for a cooling dip, the area around the pool is also modern and clean with nice furniture too. Comfortable beds with crisp bedding, everything has been thought of with a lovely modern kitchen, unique dining table, comfortable clean sofa. Great views overlooking the lake but still very private. The house also stays quite cool as it's shaded by the trees which was great in the heatwave. The owners are really helpful and take pride in their special property. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, will definitely be recommending to friends and family and would stay again when visiting this beautiful area of France *****
Unfortunately we could not meet Eva but we were welcomed by Harold who is a very nice person. The house is very pretty and very pleasant. The rooms and the living room are very spacious. The terrace area with its plancha, the pool with its small beach and the deckchairs to relax are very appreciable.
What a wonderful week we have had exploring the Loire from your beautiful house! From the very warm welcome as soon as we arrived, it was clear that we had found a special place. The gardens, pool and river have given us all so much pleasure. We have had a truly relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Thank you for all your kindness too.
The house was very large for our couple but we'e enjoyed the space in the house and around the house. The pool is just perfect with its 16m you can really do a bit of exercise after having had too much food and wines. It was a very relaxing holiday and a nice region to discover.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday, staying in your beautiful villa. We have loved the pool and the garden, the views are stunning and we have very much enjoyed taking our coffee in the mornings and drinking our wine, sitting at the various places dotted so perfectly around the grounds. We have enjoyed the Monday morning market in Duras and the nights market at Monsegur on Wednesday evening. Thank you Frédéric for his warm welcome. It has been a truly relaxing and enjoyable week.

As soon as I saw the house I just loved it. Then as I walked inside, the house wrapped itself around me. I loved all the rustic charm. The views were calming and cows a pleasure to watch. You could say I felt at home.
We've had an amazing time thanks. Visited as many places as the kids will tolerate and we somehow did the Renoir museum without breaking anything!! They’ve both absolutely loved the pool and their swimming has improved loads. Our youngest, Hal, has gone from tentatively swimming 5m to now confidently doing 20 lengths without stopping. Thank you so much for your hospitality this last week. Staying at the Loft du Vigneron is more a 5-star hotel experience than a typical rental property! We loved sitting out on the terrace at all times of the day and there were so many little touches that made staying here such a pleasure. You are great hosts - discrete yet friendly and so helpful when required. As for activities in the area, we particularly enjoyed Lastours and the Friday night pop-up tapas bar at the château. All the best for your new venture - we're sure it will be a great success!

Totally loved the week that we had here! The pool was really private and if your after a pizza then visit Le Yacca, the best pizzas in the world! (in Pézenas). Enjoy your stay.

My family had a fantastic 3-week holiday in La Barde, a beautifully renovated farmhouse. So fantastic, in fact, that we secured a repeat booking for the following year prior to departing. We found the property extremely spacious, sympathetically renovated, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for family day-to-day living. The securely gated pool is perfect for children and we all looked forward to cooling off there each afternoon after exploring the various local food markets and other wonderful excursions. The pool is actually quite large, which meant that the keener members of our party could exercise properly and swim lengths whilst the rest of us happily relaxed and drank local wines. The shallow end is ideal for young children to play or practice their swimming and there is a slightly separate paddling pool which is perfect for babies and toddlers. There is a barn area with a large BBQ, which we used most evenings, a ping pong table and lots of lawn games. The courtyard, lawn and gardens are obviously lovingly cared for and just beautiful. La Barde is the perfect setting for children to play and for family and friends to relax, talk, eat and drink. Helen and John gave us a warm welcome and were happy to help with any information we needed. They kindly shared some delicious fruit from their garden with us, which we very much enjoyed cooking and eating. We think this is the perfect place for groups of friends or families to holiday together and celebrate special occasions (it would be an amazing place to host a wedding or spend Christmas) because the size and the layout of the house and grounds mean there is plenty of space for more than one family to be together as well as enough space to have privacy. The location is ideal in terms of exploring the Dordogne. We would highly recommend booking this property any time of the year. We couldn’t believe our luck and can’t wait to return again this summer!
We have had a fantastic time, our 2nd holiday here, weather was brilliant-sunshine every day, we all loved the pool, a great way to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary!
What a fabulous two weeks we have had. A beautiful property lovingly cared for by Danielle. A great helpful host. We had wonderful days out touring the surrounding villages and towns but always great to come back to the inviting pool, especially in the heat bomb we experienced.
