Charming house in the most picturesque hill top village that has been lovingly restored with air con and a pool to help you cool off in the heat. The surrounding area has lots to offer and you can find great food either in the village or in Uzes not too far away.
Just returned from an outstanding holiday at the Orchard Farmhouse! The pool and grounds were just fantastic - it did help with three days at 30+ degrees! I wanted to say a big thank you again to Pure France for a brilliant week in a great value property. We never fail to enjoy our holidays with Pure France as the expectations of the property are always in parity with the description and write-up on your website. First class... thank you.
We have had an amazing holiday! A gorgeous villa, clean and well-equipped. Thank you Philippe for being such a wonderful host – especially for the delicious pastries! The villa is so lovely that we have been more than happy to have some lazy days but we have also had some great outings. Carcassonne and its castle is not to be missed. The market at Olonzac on a Tuesday is fabulous. Narbonne beach is stunning and we really enjoyed seeing and taking a boat trip on the 9 locks of Fonseranes. We would not hesitate to return here – I think it would be very hard to find another place as good as this! Very sad to be returning home but very lucky to have made some amazing memories!
There were 6 of us, (3 couples) from USA who stayed a week in October at Château des Dragons. Laurence and Marian were absolutely wonderful hosts. They are warm and welcoming and made sure that everything in the château was comfortable. They arranged a wonderful wine tour and were so helpful in answering any questions that we had about the surrounding area. One can easily walk to the nearby village or take a hike in the surrounding farm country and woods. We would definitely return to the lovely Château des Dragons.
Wow what a fab house! We had a brill time chilling in the garden and visiting local toddler friendly places... Would highly recommend the following:- Monkey village, paddling at Villefagnan and Cognac visit. We spotted red squirrels in the garden. The welcome pack is the best and most comprehensive we have every had and was so appreciated. Thank you! We would love to come again some time!

We have spend a wonderful holiday at the villa. The villa is ideal, spacious and nicely decorated. The children loved the pool and the table tennis table! It is an ideal base to visit the region. The market in Pézenas should not be missed. We have driven a boat, ridden horses and hired bikes in Marseillan and seen flamingoes! Dream holiday. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. We booked the Manoir de Monflanquin in Oct 2020. It was between lockdowns and it was a very weird and scary time for us as a family. We were so looking forward to the holiday. We then postponed it due to the travel restrictions in 2021, we just didn’t want to risk it. It’s the longest time we’ve ever waited for a holiday. Our holiday in Monflanquin was the best holiday we’ve ever had and we’ve been on some great ones! The house was elegant but robust enough to cope with the 9 of us. It was better than the photos we’d been pouring over for two years. We never got used to the views, the space and beauty of the place. The pool, garden, hammocks, table tennis, badminton net and pool table kept us fully entertained. The kitchen was such a lovely place to be and so delightfully organised. We all took it in turns to cook and had gorgeous evenings outside chatting and eating at the tables out front. The weather was incredible - we had days of glorious sunshine and then spectacular electrical storms. When it rained we just wandered into Monflanquin, set up camp in a pretty cafe and played cards. The view of Monflanquin from the garden always made me pause and remember how lucky we were. The views of the house as we strolled round the fields also gave us joy. It sat so firmly and proudly on its plot. Please thank the owners for providing such a lovely place for us to all get together. It was perfect. Thank you from us all.

My family and I had a fabulous time during our week in France. It really was exactly what we were looking for and expecting.
Wow! What an amazing house in such a wonderful location! We've just come back from spending a week here and I was so sad to leave. The house is incredibly comfortable and beautifullt decorated. You really couldn't ask for a better location - the street is very peaceful (we didn't hear a thing, despite sitting out in the garden until late in the evening, every night) and yet you are in the centre of town within few minutes walk - we loved strolling into the main part of town for an ice cream in the day or a drink at night. Parking is easy; we didn't use the garage in the end despite having two cars between us. The pool is wonderful, especially when its really hot and the decked area and BBQ just make the garden a really relaxing, usable space to enjoy.
Delightful stay in vineyard in Provence. Les Trois Maisons de Valescure was superb, situated up a track and literally miles from anywhere in the glorious vineyards, with delightful far-ranging views. Equipped to an extremely high standard with every room having an ensuite. The bedrooms were large, well-furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen and living space was ideal for our family of 21 which ranged from 10 months to 70+ years old. The swimming pool was completely safe and the games equipment etc. very useful. Thomas who helped us with our booking was unfaillingly helpful and dealt with all our queries really efficiently. Nicolas was charming too and so patient with every request we made. He also gave us an excellent tour of the winery. We were delighted by him. We would unreservedly recommend Valsecure hamlet to any family who want a holiday in a beautiful and quiet area of Provence.
Thank you Pascal and Julien for making us so welcome at your fabulous home. We really appreciated your special efforts to source a highchair for Hatta - who enjoyed her first proper holiday. A wonderfull family holiday we we will always remember. Our favourite moment was playing in the pool. We enjoyed Aubeterre with the underground church and Brantôme also the market at Ribérac.
Large house with beautiful swimming pool. Well-equipped kitchen with, among other things, plancha outside, very pleasant! We also enjoyed the barbeque. All amenities are available. We were with 6 adults and 8 children, at the limit but certainly feasible. Thank you for the air conditioning in the rooms - electricity costs are always paid separately
Beautiful accommodation with so much attention to detail! We were all very amazed by the cleanliness and its amenities. We have never been to such a beautiful place before. We were a group of 6 people. On the terrace you have a beautiful view and there is a waterfall nearby. Sophie is a very lovely and helpful person. We were already very convinced of the pictures of the villa, in reality it was even more beautiful. The kitchen was fully equipped, there was no lack of a device or spice. Very very hygienic everything! I would be happy to come back.
We had the most wonderful ‘family and friends ‘gathering at La Petite Maison Générille. The hosts were most wonderful and nothing was too much trouble . They told us of markets, restaurants, gardens and vineyards… all were wonderful. The houses are spacious and well equipped the grounds and gardens perfect and the salt water pool... bliss. We had children and tiny grandchildren with us and it was the perfect base to explore the wonderful villages such as Sarlat with its night market and Domme . We went canoeing and swam in the river, visited nearby châteaux and ended our week at a wonderful Bricante taking a few French antiques home… Altogether a fabulous week I only wish we had stayed longer ! We look forward to returning to this very special place with wonderful hosts who were so kind and helpful.
We have just returned from our stay and wanted to let you know what a lovely place this is. Firstly the property itself is extremely comfortable with a beautifully maintained pool in a lovely setting overlooking the vineyards. The proprietors, Debbie and Rupert, are very welcoming and helpful. They are not intrusive but they do go the extra mile to make the holiday enjoyable. Everything was included that we could possibly have needed and Debbie gave us some delicious home made yoghurt for breakfast. Secondly, this is a brilliant area to visit. It's located pretty much on a crossroads between different areas, so whichever direction you travel in the countryside is different and there are some incredible places to visit: beautiful villages, vineyards, Cahors, the river Lot and its valley, Peche Merle for prehistory and a lovely little prehistory museum in Luzech with some amazing exhibits. We've re-visited places we've been to over the years and also seen some new. It has been everything that we could have wanted - and more.
We are sad to leave this lovely château after such a great holiday. The heatwave was unexpected but the pool kept us cool. Melissa and Charlotte were lovely and have kept the château very clean and tidy. The château was very well equipped and we were all very relaxed here. I loved walking into the village to the boulangerie each morning to buy breakfast and have a coffee on the way back! Najac is beautiful and we hope to return. Had a great holiday. Thank you x

We are truly sad to be leaving this incredible house, beautiful landscape and extraordinary people. We have felt truly ‘at home’ here and have so enjoyed being ‘en famille’ in such a wonderful house. Panoramic views of the countryside and a short drive to a local village where we could get all of our suppliers, every aspect of the stay was catered for and a stunning pool. So peaceful and tranquil, we didn’t want to leave. Just perfect.
Jean and Martyn have created a wonderful place to come for a relaxing holiday. The house is really well equipped with everything you need. Providing 3 fridges was a brilliant idea and the house had great Wi-Fi! The pool was spotless and warm and the pool area was lovely- just across from the house, but not overlooked. The gardens are beautiful and the outside patio and kitchen were fab. We loved the short stroll to the village for bread. It’s a wonderful location. Highly recommended.
