Stayed at this villa in June 2024. It has been finished to an exacting standard, and is open and airy. The views are spectacular. Everything you need for a relaxing stay - plenty of areas outside to either soak up the rays or sit in the shade. The alfresco dining area was used all day. The owners have left their paintings and sculptures in the house which gives is a very unique feel. It's incredible, will return in 2025!
I went there with my wife this weekend, the decor is crazy and the perfect location to relax. A peaceful corner of nature that I recommend to all vacationers looking for a neat villa that allows for all leisure activities.
Thank you both very much for a fantastic holiday. We have all loved it for so many different reasons. Your house and the surrounding area has catered for all our needs. It was a pleasure getting to know you both and if you ever want to visit Scotland to play golf you would be most welcome.

Thank you for another wonderful stay here at Camirout, our vacation did not start out as we had planned due to the air line company, but we are so thankful that you did the shopping for us. Being so late as we were with the Bastile Day next day you really helped us a lot. Thank you. Except for our traditional trip to Bordeaux we haven’t done much this year except from relaxing at Camirout which is so easy with the beautiful areas you have made. Both of you do such a wonderful job here and we really appreciate all of it. All of us will hopefully be back next year without any delays or cancellations. Once again thank you so much.
This is the ideal destination for an outdoorsy type holiday. The walking is superb and the scenery is magnificent. It is, quite frankly, a bit of a wrench to be leaving.

We have had a a relaxing week in this lovely gite. Madeline and Alan are great hosts. Respect your space but on hand for advice, local knowledge and a chat. We enjoyed kayaking on the Lot, exploring the local area on our bikes and enjoyed using the lovely pool each day (our son's favourite part!). We loved our visit to the Latour-Marliac for a great lunch and a lovely walk around the gardens and amazing water lilies. On our last night we had a great meal in the fish restaurant 'Blue Marine', Villeneuve-sur-Lot. We also had a nice meal in the week at 'La Commonderie' at Temple-sur-Lot. A great holiday. Thank you. What a delight it was to find this stunning house in such a wonderful location. The added bonus was owner Ms W who was so warm an welcoming and could not have been more helpful. There was a wealth of information on the local area available at the house but prior to reaching the house Sharon had armed us with all of the practical directions and information that make a holiday so much easier and relaxing. The house is equipped with everything you could want (and then probably more)! We enjoy cooking and there was never a cooking utensil or piece of equipment that was not to hand. If you do not like or wish to cook have no fear the local shops and markets provide all you need and in the local areas there is a large range of restaurants if you wish to have a meal made for you. We have also taken note of a number of book titles to look up when we get home based on the 'library' of books at the house. I would recommend reading a book while sitting on one of the many window seats soaking up the views! We were travelling with extended family and with so many additional areas for relaxation it meant that we all had our own space when we needed and could come together when we wanted. So this is a house that would meet the needs of a large / extended family or a group of friends. Though we did not have scorching weather we did make use of the pool and after a day of sightseeing it was refreshing. Again, Sharon's sense of humour, warmth and willingness to help in anyway she can ensured we got the very best out of our Lauguedoc vacation. I cannot recommend Maison Charvin enough!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maison Gounou (August 2025). There were seven of us from the same extended family, aged from thirteen to sixty-two, plus two small dogs. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how quiet and peaceful the location was, which coming from south London was a real blessing. Although the house is situated on a small road, passing cars were extremely rare. We met some of the local neighbours when out dog walking, and they were pleasant and friendly. The house is beautiful and comfortable, very picturesque with a large gravelled driveway for several cars. We could close the iron gates to keep the dogs inside, which was useful. The pool was exceptionally clean, very refreshing and well maintained. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of pots of pans for large-scale cooking, including many le Creuset dishes. The rooms were spacious, the bedrooms comfortable, with plenty of bathrooms and toilets for everyone. Bedding was changed half way through our two-week visit. The surrounding area is full of old bastide towns with markets and medieval buildings, outdoor evening dining events, medieval fairs, artisan shops . Although it was thriving, nowhere felt too busy or stressful. We found lots of places to eat including a lovely restaurant in Monpazier (Privilege du Perigord) that served a tasty three-course lunch for 23 euros. Highlights of the stay: peace and tranquillity, ability to let go and relax. Lovely veranda to sit and read/relax/fall asleep, lots of books to look at, lovely sitting room. More than enough space for seven people and two dogs. Lovely local towns to stroll around.

Thank you for opening your extraordinary home to our extended family. Our holiday at Château Périgord surpassed all expectations. The beauty of the area and of your home are perfect compliments. We enjoyed shopping the local markets and cooking together in the inviting kitchen. We loved our time spent in the pool and playing badminton, as well as the time simply enjoying our pleasant surroundings and views. We explored prehistoric caves and Médiéval villages, we tasted wines of the region, visited famous châteaux, took canoes down the Dordogne river and always ended the day eager to return and enjoy Château Périgord.

First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. We enjoyed a wonderful 'Spring break at Villa Floriana! The villa has been perfect for our family. We enjoyed the pool and grounds which were perfect for our 4 year old to explore. Everything was as expected and did not disappoint. We spent days in Port Grimaud, Saint-Topez. We would recommend this place to family and friends. We plan to return!

We had a really fabulous time at Cottage du Jardin. The cottage suited us very well. It had everything we needed. Beautifully styled, appointed and decorated. And the pool was to die for (I was hardly out of it) thank you Stephen for looking after it and the garden so meticulously. The cottage is perfectly situated being off the beaten track and so very peaceful but yet near enough to Thonac to walk down to the village for a drink or a meal. Montignac is only ten minutes drive away - a lively town full of cafés bars and shops. Lovely trips out to visit neighbouring villages all of which claim to be one of most beautiful villages in France. And they all are! Added bonus was being in Thonac for the final of the World Cup. Rob went down to the village and joined the locals watching on the big screen.
I just wanted to write and say how much we enjoyed our 2 weeks at Les Granels. The house and facilities exceeded all of our expectations. We have also been delighted with the service we received from Pure France, every query was answered promptly and efficiently.

This is our third visit to Villa Kali and we enjoyed it very much as before. We managed to visit L'Hacienda near Bessan and had a most enjoyable evening. Diane is very helpful with any specific dietary requests and it was a bonus that she spoke English. Very happy to say its a 5 from us again. Many thanks.
We just wanted to say how impressed we were with the house we rented through Pure France. We have rented a lot of houses both in the UK and overseas and I think this was definitely one of the very best. It was so well equipped - not just in terms of entertainment but all the items in the house (especially in the kitchen) and home comforts and the swimming pool was perfect. We are so glad we found it and we had an excellent week.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely house. We were lucky enough to see the (almost) full moon rising from the perfect spot in the garden on our first night. We loved the house and pool and most of all the beautiful views. To be in a village and yet so quiet is unique. We very much hope to come back.
