We have had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We appreciate how clean it was when we arrived (thanks Yvonne) and the wine. We love the decor and period furnishings. The pool and small barn were great. It was interesting to hear about the history and previous occupants of the house from Bob and Margaret, the English neighbours across the road. Thanks. We have just returned from a wonderful ten day stay at Château des Grillauds with our three children (aged 8, 7 and 5). The château and grounds are absolutely beautiful and perfect for a peaceful (except for the children) break. The children loved and lived in, the swimming pool all day and fell asleep each night watching movies in the upstairs lounge, while the adults enjoyed the elegant charm of the house and (a few bottles of) the local produce. I almost didn't write a review because I wanted to keep this gem of a house a secret, but we could not recommend it highly enough. Special thanks are due to next door neighbours who welcomed us and could not have been more helpful or better company during our stay; including taking us to Le Pizou for the local Tuesday evening fiesta (wrong word I'm sure). In summary, a magical ten days - can't wait to come back.

Le Clapier was absolutely beautiful, I’ve been going to France for the last 30 years on holiday and your house was head and shoulders above anything I’ve ever stayed in……The area is amazing and it’s a place that me and my partner want to buy in at some point. We recently returned from a week's holiday at Maison Palatini in Pézenas. We had a wonderful time.
My husband and I rented this charming house for 2 weeks in August with our 2 young daughters and we are already planning a return trip next year! Firstly, the pool is stunning. It's huge and spotless and we could barely get the girls out of it! The house is big and spacious and the newly decorated bathrooms made me feel like I was staying at Soho House! The house is situated in a lovely little town on the Canal du Midi. There is a huge wine shop next door and several bars and restaurants within walking distance on the quay. We had day trips to the beach at Gruissan and Leucate which were stunning Mediterranean resorts and barely 40 minutes away.
We have absolutely loved staying here. It's a stunning place - both inside and out. We enjoyed cooking meals in the excellent kitchen, eating on the terrace and had great times pool-side. This was a memorable holiday for us and our adult children - a very special time together for us all. Thank you both for everything you have done to make this happen. We would so love to come back.

Very nice place for a stay with friends or family, beautiful interior and exterior spaces, with a magnificent view. In addition, it is possible to take beautiful walks starting from the property. Thanks to Sandie for her welcome and responsiveness. We hope to be able to take full advantage of it next time.

Well kept gardens and lovely house. Would highly recommend to anyone. Extras like the UK adapters were a nice touch. Pool made the children holiday. It was also very clean and perfect size and depth. Great hosts, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely stay.
We enjoyed a lovely week at Le Chanlie; the house is set in wonderful, quiet surroundings and is beautifully furnished. Everything was in place to make us feel very welcome on our arrival. We had a couple of questions following arrival and the owner was really prompt in providing helpful guidance and again welcoming us to the property. The information pack provided at the property was very detailed and was invaluable in terms of guidance on local amenities and made great suggestions for places to visit in the area. Our young daughter was well catered for with plenty of toys and books to keep her amused when the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outside spaces. Similarly the house has a large collection of games and DVDs for adults too! Overall a really enjoyable week and we would jump at the chance to return!

Thank you, what an amazing holiday we’ve had in your wonderful house, from the swimming pool to the table tennis room and family boule tournaments, we’ve had great fun. We loved. We loved swimming in the river in Nyons and the massive markets. A lovely windy trip up to mount Ventoux with amazing views and cheering on the cyclists!. Vaison la romaine was a nice morning out with the Roman remains and finally a quick wine tasting (and purchase) at Domaine du Tave with Audrey finished it off nicely. Thanks again,
We have had a lovely spent in this beautiful villa. We all felt very relaxed. The pool was very welcoming especially as it was such a hot week. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed the night markets in Duras and Monsegur. Would recommend the Terrasse restaurant in Duras. Thank you Frédéric for being so helpful.

Rachel and Anthony made us feel welcome and were on hand, if needed, for any information. It was the best gite we have stayed at in twenty years of holidaying in France. Recommend taking train into Carcassonne from Bram. It is so easy and only 15 minutes or so.
Vero and Thierry have made this farmhouse a very pleasant house to live in. We loved the different nooks and crannies for relaxing depending on the time of day: Pool house during the day for meals, Moroccan lounge for aperitifs all around a large swimming pool. Everything is functional, clean and nothing is missing. The bedding is of very good quality in all rooms. Boules and darts games, a huge garden. We were a family with children (7 people in total) who were also won over. We highly recommend their house and will definitely be back.
