We are just back from two magical weeks in this property set in a beautiful area with many Bastides to visit. The house is spacious with every required amenity hosted by the lovely owners Jean and Martin not forgetting the real star Tanner the dog. The grounds are enormous with a gorgeous pool, gazebo, huge parasols and sun-beds. The local village Lauzun is a short walk away for bread and there is a local Bar de Sport. Each Saturday night in the season the main street is closed off and tables set up for a gourmande evening... Very French! The owners will ensure that you have a good time but are in no way obtrusive. Don't miss the opportunity to try this property!

We had a lovely lazy two weeks by the pool! With the hot weather the air conditioning was very welcoming at night time. We have used Pure France several times over the last 6 years and this villa has definitely been the best equipped and most accurately described. 5 / 5.

Wonderful holiday in this beautiful and stylish home! The house has been refurbished to a very high specification and the bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are luxuriously contemporary. The kitchen is impressively well equipped. There is so much to do in the area which is steeped in history and blessed with natural beauty. The Roman ruins at Vaison are a must- see. We were amazed to find the largest archaeological site in France just down the road and the medieval town, on the other side of the river, with its winding streets, is charming. We found it hard to tear ourselves away from the stunning views and the peace and tranquility of the gardens and pool but outings to the hilltop villages of Seguret and Venasque and a wine tasting in Gigondas or Châteauneuf du Pape are experiences not to be missed!
Hi, we arrived last night and have managed to get installed into this lovely house! We had high expectations, but the house exceeds them!
We had a pleasure of spending three days at La Petite Maison Générille and the biggest dissatisfaction with our stay is that it was just too short! La Petite Maison Générille is one of those rare places where you could see yourself easily spending an entire summer. We are definitely coming back! Where do I start... first of all, the place is immaculately clean and well-stocked: there was literally nothing that we needed and it wasn't available (and trust me we are very picky when it comes to holiday rentals). The kitchen has everything a family of four could possibly need; there are lots of wonderful new fluffy towels; the mattresses are comfortable and pillows are perfect; shower pressure was better than at our home. There's a big clean heated pool and a terrace with the most picturesque view that you just want to frame in your memory forever... And of course - the wonderful hosts! they know the area and set us up for a brilliant three-day programme that only whetted our appetites for coming back to Dordogne again and again. Thank you VERY much for a fabulous holiday! Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.
A wonderful relaxing part of our trips spent in Montsoreau, living the dream! While really enjoying the local cafe/restaurants we made great and regular contact with the local boulangerie, boucher and wine producer who are all starts of their trade. Living local in Montsoreau for 2 weeks was great fun and delicious and... the accommodation provided us with the quiet and rest we needed. Spacious and with a place to read and watch the river on the terrace. Thank you.
We spent 2 very good weeks in the house. The rental corresponds exactly to the photos published on the site and it was very clean when we arrived. The owners provided us with a wide description of the house, people to contact in case of concerns, visits to do allowing us to spend our stay in peace. The owner is easily reachable; an agent is on site in case of problems and a person is responsible for the maintenance of the pool every 3 to 4 days. The house is ideal for 2 couples with children because there are bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the ground floor and upstairs. We highly recommend this rental and thank Terry and Carol for the welcome.
We are having a truly wonderful holiday. We have not wanted for anything, Le Chai has been the perfect home for our 2 week hols.
We have stayed in many different holiday properties in Europe but this one was certainly one of the very best. The house was well equipped and comfortable, the location excellent and the pool area perfect. We were sorry to leave - there was so much to see and do in the area. We would be very pleased to book the Villa again.

We cannot recommend Mas Saint-Martial highly enough. We had a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable couple of weeks making the most of the secluded quiet of this lovely house, excellent pool, extensive grounds and beautiful surrounding areas. For a family of 4 with two pre-teen girls, it was ideal with enough space for us all to enjoy and a pool that was warm. There was a well equipped games room and we loved the all weather badminton court. The local facilities were good with an excellent bakery.

Great house, wonderful weather, lovely city. We loved the pool, the bike ride along the Canal du Midi, we enjoyed having space in a rented house. The decoration of the house is very well done and we feel very relaxed now.
Great house specially the swimming pool, garden and the amazing sunsets. Quiet area, for those really looking for a place to disconnect. We loved it!

A truly magical week in the most magical Château – in a magical setting. Absolutely wonderful week. Everything was perfect – thank you very much to all the staff who looked after it all. We had a fantastic stay and are so thankful to the owners. The house is beautiful and very rustic (which we loved) but topped by the setting which is rural and stunning… again, we loved. The hosts Helen and James are so kind and interesting and were really helpful when our car had a tire puncture. The pool is one of the nicest we have ever been in with a lovely salty water and always the right temperature. A great stay.

Great location, on the beach with great access to activities. Parking is great. Everything was perfect from pre check communications through check out. Loved the apartment and overall vibe of staying on the beach with all the fun activities, shops and markets. Great for walking. The beach and water are fantastic!! The apartment is perfect. We’ve had such a fabulous week in this beautiful farmhouse. It’s very difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool, tennis court and, for some of us, the gym. The location – we thoroughly enjoyed the markets, Chinon and the woods – as well as the beautiful piano and luxuries of the house, have made this a truly memorable week for us with our grown-up children and their friends. We were a group of 7 adults and have had the most fabulous week in your villa. It is so unusual for a villa to work on every level, but yours really did. So much space – and so very well thought through with absolutely everything you might need supplied. And yes – far better than the pictures suggested. We greatly appreciated the cheese + wine on arrival – the bread + pâté through the week – and of course the meal at La Tour, which was just amazing! We made good use of the bikes (coldly wet!) and made our way to Montady a few times (a lovely ride on the cycle path). We visited Béziers, Carcassonne + Minerve – but most importantly – we were able to relax + chat and laugh! Thank you Philippe. What a great week.
A beautiful fun filled 7 days in this amazing house. Thank you. Equipped for all 8 of us. Kids swam everyday, favourite game of the week. Dads throwing balls high/low/long and making the biggest splash. Parents enjoying evening games of scrabble over a few too many. Lots of towns and markets visited. We plan to back back to make even more memories. Thank you.
We were with the family, the house is perfect for that. The bedding of the beds are recent and comfortable. Nothing was missing for our comfort. Fans in every room. Everything was very clean. The house is gigantic but the real plus is the garden and the pool! Large grassy area to play ball, petanque, ping-pong table, vegetable garden... and the huge swimming pool. Many deckchairs and garden armchairs, barbeque, plancha, shade in short all is perfect! Eva and her adorable friend, do not hesitate to ask her for a good address for a restaurant! I recommend.
