Thank you once again for brilliant service – loved our stay in both properties – Château Siorac-en-Périgord and also Château des Dragons.
Lots of space for 3 generations of family. Kids loved pool house brilliant and they loved playing in grounds. Playroom kept kids entertained. Lots of toys and videos. Excellent. Gas BBQ was fab. Lovely cooker and dishwasher, tumble dryer made for easy holiday. Takayla and Nick excellent hosts, great welcome and nice to know they are on hand for any problems. Would come back again.
The 8 of us (three generations) have had a fabulous time at Le Malardier. The house is gorgeous and very comfortable while the views were breathtaking. I fulfilled my ambition to sit at least once in all the outside seats to enjoy the many views! We are leaving with beavy hearts. Highly recommended, a meal cooked by Louise - better than many restaurants!
We had an amazing two weeks in the sun, we spent some days by the pool. You can swim and look at the stunning view of the hills in the distance. The apartment is spotless and has everything we needed at the start of our holiday. The owners can speak English which is helpful if you needed anything which we didn't. We would love to go back again.
Thank you for such a wonderful week. The house is perfect and we loved how many different places there were in the garden to sit and have a drink / admire the beautiful view. It was lovely to meet you both and thanks for being so helpful (and telling us about the Friday market in Ribérac!). Fantastic holiday - hoping to return next year!
Incredible pool and extremely comfortable beds! We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at your wonderful villa, it certainly wasn't long enough! We loved everything, the location, the spectacular views, incredible pool and extremely comfortable beds! The whole place was immaculately presented and you made us very welcome! We certainly appreciated the bottle on arrival after the journey we had had! We would love to return in the not too distant future.

We had a lovely weeks break at this beautiful house in this lovely old historic town. The food was lovely, the beach 20 minutes away was nice and quiet and our children absolutely loved it there as well as enjoying the lovely and very warm pool! The house itself caters for all your needs. A perfect week away at a beautiful house in the perfect location for you to enjoy all the area has to offer.
Ideally located close to the Dordogne and Sarlat, Le Borghesia offers great services in a preserved and calm environment. Its interior layout perfectly combines the charm of the old with modern comfort. The decoration, partly composed of family furniture and paintings, adds a touch of soul to this charming farmhouse where we spent a very pleasant week. The very welcoming owners are a wealth of information about the region. One regret, not having had time to visit their other rentals located close to Borghesia.
WOW! What a holiday! The Loft is absolutely beautiful and we’ve all had the most wonderful time. In fact, the Loft, pool and gardens are so incredible we’ve spent most days swimming, reading and lounging by the pool! Playing boules has been fun and meeting you both, and Mack and Mabel too. We’d love to come back and revisit the Loft - it’s been fantastic! A big ‘Thank You’!

Wow! What a week, went so fast but was a truly special. The chateau is so grand with secrets to be found all around. Paul, Julie and Steven were amazing, taking us fishing and ensuring we had all we needed! I will miss this place and already want to come back!! Thank you!!
There were 6 of us, (3 couples) from USA who stayed a week in October at Château des Dragons. Laurence and Marian were absolutely wonderful hosts. They are warm and welcoming and made sure that everything in the château was comfortable. They arranged a wonderful wine tour and were so helpful in answering any questions that we had about the surrounding area. One can easily walk to the nearby village or take a hike in the surrounding farm country and woods. We would definitely return to the lovely Château des Dragons.
We wished we had booked 3 weeks! We felt at home the moment we were treated by the lovely Julian and Pascal. Pool and garden amazing. Enjoyed the wildlife, red squirrels, birds etc. We enjoyed a surprise visit from our son Oliver. We had no idea and the pool!

Fellow visitors, make sure to enjoy a book by the pool, cycle around, bus into Pau, and search 'Pau Canoe Kayak'.
We loved the setting, location and character of this beautiful house which we feel could tell many interesting stories (... if only walls could speak!). Our boys loved the pool and made great friends with the friendly tortoise. R. favours the name 'Toby' and B. likes 'Edouard'. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch for my birthday at Bistro Maritime and looking forward to dinner at Bistro Pharell for our last evening. Great days out exploring St-Émilion-Libourne. A great trip by train (so easy) to Bordeaux. The bassin de lumière is amazing if you have a wet day. We also loved watching the Mascaret from the house - so glad we were here on the 'right' day.
What a lovely holiday we have had. Two great hosts and we have made two lovely friends! We will be back for sure!
We spent two wonderful weeks at Villa Lavinière and visited lots of beautiful places in the region. Villa Lavinière is a very cozy house, decorated with good taste and well equipped! Thank you.
We enjoyed a very special week in this outstanding house in the beautiful Burgundy Region. We would, of course, highly recommend it for wine enthusiasts (a topic about which we learned a lot!) but it also worked very well for us as a venue for an extended family get together. The experience was enhanced further by taking up the option of a 5 course catered dinner in the house one night which was absolutely first class.
A fantastic week in Ventenac-en-Minervois. the house was perfect for our family. Happy evenings on the terrace and beautiful time. Cup - in very friendly and excellent café. Eric is so helpful. We will definitely return.
I had a great stay at Le Mas de Combet with a group of 9 adults and 2 infants as we were attending a wedding nearby at Chateau de St Paul (c. 10 - 15 minutes drive) The house was clean, well equipped and very peaceful and private. The villa is remote so a car is definitely required but it's a beautiful setting with wonderful views of the countryside and the pool was well used during our stay! We had a couple of days of rain but the house is so comfortable and has plenty of space for indoor and outdoor entertaining. One small note was that there is no soap, shower gel or shampoo provided as described on the listing but that was a very minor inconvenience which was easily resolved. Dermod, our contact was extremely helpful and responsive and even personally arranged a lift for one of our party back from the wedding venue (thanks to Patricia!). Thanks for a great stay - we would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful home. The kitchen and living area was so spacious and comfortable and the outside space was equally ideal. The pool was delightful and spacious allowing the six of us to enjoy it at the same time. The kitchen had everything we could ask for - literally home from home. The only regret about this holiday was having only one week there as it wasn’t long enough! We most definitely would return.
You beat me to it! I’d been meaning to email to say what an excellent time we’ve been having and to thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful home. It’s such a gorgeous spot, the weather has been perfect and we love the fact that the house feels like a much loved family home so thank you for sharing it with us. It is so well equipped and comfortable, with a lovely ambience - we are greatly enjoying relaxing and eating meals in all the different beautiful spots in the garden. We are finally home and now reflecting on happy memories of our wonderful holiday in France and particularly our 10 nights spent here. Where do we begin to ever thank you for all that you did and for making our holiday so special. We felt like we had our own personal butler looking after us throughout our stay. Even prior to our arrival we welcomed the emails, the ease of booking and then promptly replying to any query that we had , as well as the phone call to offer help and support the week before we were scheduled to arrive. We really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies and all the other little things that you had thoughtfully put in the fridge, making our arrival into the gîte a very warm and welcome one. Your 'blood, sweat and tears' have truly paid off as we could see the attention to detail that has gone in to making this a luxury gîte for your guests. We noticed the quality of furnishings and fittings, bed linen, sumptuous soft towels and then separate towels laid out for us by the pool, all of which made for an exciting stay ahead! The beds were extremely comfortable and accompanied by the peace and tranquility at night meant we both woke each morning feeling fully refreshed! We particularly enjoyed our time spent around the swimming pool and also using the outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Everything was spotlessly clean and we know that you ensured the pool area was cleaned down for us every morning. We were blessed with good weather too. The views from the terrace were stunning and we never tired from sitting there overlooking the local Cuzorn area and the valley beyond. It was a pleasure getting to know you and hearing about your journey from Essex to Lot-et-Garonne. For us, as first guests it was a privilege staying at Lasserre and we will be talking about you and our holiday for years to come. I equally hope that for you and Kate your first guests did not let you down and we have left a wonderful impression on you too! We sincerely hope that you are rewarded for the fruits of your labour and whilst we would like you to have a busy season, just secretly we would like to keep this little bit of heaven purely for us!
Thank you for a lovely week in Piglet. We were so pleased when Piglet was available for one of our weeks in France this summer. It was great coming here for a second time - felt like coming home. Thanks for your fabulous hospitality. Having toured around when we were here last year, we planned to be pretty local this week. Luckily the weather aligned meaning we could have warm, lazy days by the pool reading, playing games and family time. We loved revisiting the local bars and restaurant and loved our evening at the creperie. Thank you for the wine and cake.
We've just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks at Le Séchoir and would like to enquire about booking again for next year!
We had a very good stay in this house and highly recommend it to other travellers for a weekend or more!
