Le Séchoir Carme was a lovely holiday let and we enjoyed two weeks exploring the region from this beautiful house returning each late afternoon to enjoy the large pool and cool down before dinner. The house is well proportioned and the kitchen/living area is well designed (and equipped) with wonderful access to the outdoor dining area and pool. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday with all we needed for our young family.
This house is even better than we remembered it - we feel so relaxed and at home here.
We’ve had an amazing two weeks at this gorgeous property. On arrival we have been overwhelmed by the beauty of the house. It has been lovingly designed to a very high standard and certainly has the “wow” factor on arrival. Frédéric and the staff were very helpful and made our stay very special. We stayed at the end of June to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday with family and friends (16 of us). The setting is beautiful and looks out over a valley which is particularly nice in the evenings whilst relaxing on the terrace with a wine or two. We had a fabulous holiday. There's something for everyone at the château, lots of activities in the sports hall to keep everyone occupied but what we especially enjoyed was the vintage swimming pool and the golf course which was challenging but enormous fun. Our week flew by far too quickly and we will certainly look to return. Thank you to the owners Nicky and Richard for making us feel so welcome and for making my wife's birthday such a special occasion.
It worked out great for our family of 7 adults, a little girl, and 2 small dogs. The space is perfect, with plenty of nooks for relaxing, eating, or just having some peace and quiet. The air conditioning was excellent in the heat this week. The TV was huge for the Wimbledon finals, and the owners were very welcoming. Thank you so much for everything. See you next time!!!
Who would have guessed you could have daily swims in April? This fabulous pool really was the star. The apartment is well equipped and immaculately clean. The village is a comfortable walk away and there's an excellent ELeclerc grocery that's a short drive. (You will need a car if you intend to go anywhere once you've arrived. Get a small non-electric one.) We've already booked our next stay.
After a two-year pause in our travel arrangements we couldn’t have been more delighted with our visit to the Loft du Vigneron. It was everything - and more - than we had hoped for. Thank you both for your generosity of conversation, wine and gin!!! Good luck with the next phase of Le Domaine aux Quat’Saisons, not that we think you will need it - quite simply, it is stunning.

We stayed as a whole family, 6 adults and 2 children, for 4 days. The house has everything you need to enjoy a few days in the south of France. The owners have always been very friendly and willing to help with whatever was needed. Thanks.

Heaven on Earth. Our two week stay at Villa Chiavari was an absolute dream; I could not be more enthusiastic in recommending this home to anyone looking to spend their vacation in a veritable paradise. We were 2 couples, 3 children and 1 grandparent and booked an 'off-season' holiday at the end of September. Not long after our arrival we realised a major perk of booking 'off season': uncrowded beaches with absolutely perfect summer weather! Villa Chiavari's spectacular ocean-view infinity pool is surrounded by lounge-chairs and palm trees and bordered by a lush garden... good luck ever tearing yourself away. I should also mention that this lavish pool area is accessible by both the main living quarters of the house and by the bedrooms, which we found extremely convenient for our kids and elderly grandparent. Pool amenities also include a shaded lounge and dining area (also with an ocean view), a barbecue, outdoor refrigerator, pool toys and floats and easy access to a downstairs kitchenette. The grounds at the front of the house include a lush garden, an elevated hammock-hideaway in a quiet shady corner and an outdoor eating area punctuated by a lovely little fountain. The bedrooms are attractively furnished, comfortable and very clean. Five out of six have full attached bathrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, as is the main area of the house. The upstairs living/dining/den areas are elegant yet cozy at the same time and the entire back 'wall' of this floor is composed of large sliding glass doors that open onto a beautiful terrace running the length of the entire villa. There is a dining area and lounge on this upper terrace as well! The kitchen has every piece of equipment you can think of and if you're looking for the ultimate in extravagance, the owners will set you up with your own chef. They arranged for us a very personable French cook who prepared truly delicious, fresh meals that even our children were not afraid to eat. Sublime. Speaking of kids, families will find this home very child-safe. There are gates on stairways, the entire property is fenced-in (artfully disguised by beautiful flowers and foliage) and there is a smattering of children's furniture (highchair etc) available for use. We were also really comforted by the fact that the owners of this home are easily reached and are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again and I encourage anyone interested in perfection to do the same!

We will particularly treasure the memory of being pampered by you with Bruce's fantastic cooking - asparagus a la Bruce and confit de canard warmly recommended! - and Steve's delicious deserts. Impossible to overestimate how very kind and helpful are the two hosts, Caterina and Steve, Cottage Du Jardin is peaceful and very comfortable. It’s wonderful to have a comfortable sofa in the gite as we know from experience. Everything you need is there: washing machine, dishwasher, washing line, fridge, freezer, UK TV channels et cetera. The TV takes DvdS. The long pool is set among beautiful plants in the garden. You can do 20 back strokes, it’s so long, the sun loungers are comfortable. Shady table for cool lunches. Intermarche just up the road. The best thing is that the local casino little shop has daily bread and there are two restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended by two France veterans. Visit Lascaux 11- one English tour a week. You’ll remember it for life. And visit Le Bugue market on Tuesdays - Bruno’s town in the Martin Walker Books. Lots and lots of fiction in the cottage; save on your packing weight.

It's been lovely staying somewhere with an excellent kitchen and such well-appointed bathrooms. And the beds are exceptionally comfortable. Externally, your garden is absolutely stunning and such a fabulous surprise - we leave inspired! More than anything, it's been your warmth and generous hospitality which will stay with us.

Thank you for a lovely holiday in your beautiful house. The pool was perfect as was the weather, so we made full use of it. The BBQ area was great as well and the new fridge freezer with the ice maker was superb. The area surrounding Besson was perfect for exploring on our bikes. There is still so much more to see so I am sure we will be back.

Wonderful House - fantastically equipped! We really appreciated the fans in the hot weather! The games room was superb - hardly saw the kids all week! Your recommendations in the purple pages were great. A very tasty trip to Royan for some seafood. Sitting on the terrace, looking over the views was beautiful.
Just wanted to follow up to say how great it was at Maison Brunet. We really enjoyed our stay. The house , especially the kitchen were well equipped to enjoy the local food produce. The house was spotless on arrival and is decoratively finished. The pool was refreshing, clean and a great benefit during the warm summer days. We were a family of 5 with a dog and all had a great time at the house with the gardens and grounds. Thanks.

It is rare to find such beautiful decoration where high-quality antiques and contemporary art coexist. We appreciated the authenticity of the place, the preserved nature and the proximity to major tourist sites. Through their kindness and recommendations, the hosts greatly contributed to our pleasant stay. We highly recommend this recently opened accommodation, which is continually evolving.
Having rented holiday homes in France for many years I am sure that the welcome from Philippe was the warmest we have ever had. His kindness and generosity in providing a wonderful welcome pack comprising cheeses, bread, fruit, wine and a tart made our arrival very pleasant. The house is beautifully appointed and every need seemed to have been considered. The layout of the three buildings is particularly suited to large families with two large ensuite bedrooms in one block, a compact double in the pool house and a magnificent master suite in the main house. The facilities are exceptional, with a comprehensively equipped kitchen, air conditioning in the key areas, a great variety of outdoor seating (very comfortable) in sun and shade, a fantastic outdoor kitchen with barbecue and a superb swimming pool, all set in beautiful gardens. Philippe kindly brought croissants or pastries on the (very early) mornings he would silently clean the pool and another large selection of local goodies when changing the sheets after a week. The location is quiet and peaceful yet there are lots of interesting places to visit within a short drive. Béziers and the villages along the Canal du Midi provide lots to do and the coast is only 20 minutes away. This is an exceptional property which feels like a home rather than a rental and you could not fail to enjoy a holiday here.
