What a terrific home to say in. Totally relaxing with so much thought given to every detail. We really loved the tour of all the buildings and we look forward to visiting again to see the developments. Our holiday for the past week in this beautiful property has been nothing but a 5 star experience. Thierry and Philippe provided everything to such a high and professional standard for us. The house and pool area were perfect in every way. So peaceful and relaxing, we would definitely return and would advise anyone in booking, to do so.
Thank you for a great 2-week stay here. The house is lovely and we have enjoyed staying here. Can highly recommend the Château de la Rivière vineyard tour, 10 Euros per person and well worth it. Best meals out we had were at Bistro Pharell (the food is sooo good!) and Bistro Maritime in Libourne - great river views from the terrace. Saint-Émilion is a must - so beautiful. If you are a fish lover, a trip out to Arcachon is well worth a visit. Chez Pierre is amazing for seafood. Dunes du Pilat are also worth the climb for the spectacular views! Sunny evenings by the pool are also amazing. Had a great time overall, thanks so much.
The villa was just as described and was perfect in every way. We chose the villa because everything was on one level and the pool and terrace area were located very close to the main house. We had the most wonderful time and the arrangement of the bedrooms meant we had plenty of space to relax in. The BBQ area was well used. The air conditioning was welcomed during the warm Mediterranean nights. It was also the first villa we have stayed in where we were able to walk to the local town in order to buy our daily croissants. The service we had from Pure France and Philippe was exceptional. We have all had a superb week. What a beautiful house and surroundings. Huge fun in the pool, long evenings on the stunning terrace watching the sun go down. Complete relaxation for us all. Younger folk tried the Pirate experience and really enjoyed it. We all went to Laparade - a huge open food festival, a sea of tables on the remparts (take your own cloth and plastic beakers!) and great music. A truly magical week we will all treasure. X
The villa is beautiful and we loved the area - although was a little warmer than I had anticipated we were so thankful for the air conditioning! Linda was fabulous and super helpful so please pass on my thanks to her as well. Thank you again and hopefully we can visit again later this year!

Beautiful house, even more beautiful than in the photos! The exterior is magical, the house is super clean and very well-equipped, the decor is neat down to the smallest details and very elegant. Gabian is a charming village. We'll be happy to go back to this little paradise whose hostess is adorable.
This is a very peaceful and relaxing place, it was interesting watching the wine growers gathering their grape harvest, lots of beautiful scenery, places to visit and some lovely restaurants. We enjoyed cooking at the house with the very well equipped kitchen and some very nice decor touches around the house. A fantastic introduction to this part of France. We will return.
We just wanted to say thank you for a great week in your beautiful house. It is a magical place and we have fond memories already. Thanks for arranging for Suzanne to cook for us. Her dinners were a great success and her sorbet surprises were a matter of intrigue on both evenings! We hope to come back again in the future and we look forward to seeing you again.
Thank you for making Domaine de Nérige such a beautiful place to stay in, it was a fabulous time had by all. Fantastic weather, food and fun. As you know we have stayed in your house twice. It really is an exceptional property and in terms of facilities, location and aesthetic qualities we could not fault it. The views are fantastic, the pool is perfect and the house itself brimming with character – not to mention that every lamp works, as do the showers and all utensils.
Very pretty new hotel, charmingly furnished in the beautiful wine village of Meursault. You can get to Beaune very quickly, but Dijon is also easily accessible by car. Very nice, warm hosts.
This is an amazing home where you can enjoy the utterly relaxed vacation. It is spacious, nicely decorated, well equipped and beautifully located. The pool , the pergola the kitchen and the bathrooms … everything is of a high standard and make the house feel like a proper home . 10 out 10.
We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. I had a great stay at Le Mas de Combet with a group of 9 adults and 2 infants as we were attending a wedding nearby at Chateau de St Paul (c. 10 - 15 minutes drive) The house was clean, well equipped and very peaceful and private. The villa is remote so a car is definitely required but it's a beautiful setting with wonderful views of the countryside and the pool was well used during our stay! We had a couple of days of rain but the house is so comfortable and has plenty of space for indoor and outdoor entertaining. One small note was that there is no soap, shower gel or shampoo provided as described on the listing but that was a very minor inconvenience which was easily resolved. Dermod, our contact was extremely helpful and responsive and even personally arranged a lift for one of our party back from the wedding venue (thanks to Patricia!). Thanks for a great stay - we would definitely recommend!
Thank you to Pure France for the prompt, polite and easy booking process, to the owners of Manoir Coutenson for allowing us to rent the property and also to David, the property manager who greeted us on arrival and was so helpful. Our family of 15 (aged between 1 - 64) have just enjoyed a fabulous week at this wonderful property. It is the most well equipped place we have ever stayed and all the extra touches (including small children's toys and books) ensured a relaxed and easy break for the whole family. We would unreservedly recommend the Manoir to any family group. Thanks again.
This was not our first visit to La Barde and yet again we have enjoyed a wonderful family holiday. The house has such character whilst being both spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well resourced and the sitting areas both inside and outside comfortably sit 10 people. The garden is beautiful and filled with an array of varied and colourful plants and shrubs whilst the pool is large and cleaned regularly by the owner. Yet again we enjoyed some lovely days out to Saint-Émilion, Brantôme and Cognac to name a few - and of course some pleasant evening drinks in Verteillac. Thank you - we have treasured memories of a fantastic holiday!
We all had a lovely time. The accommodation was so huge that we could all find space when we wanted that and a communal get-together when desired. Our son-in-law really enjoyed cooking on the Aga and produced some spectacular meals. Needless to say that we all had fun in the pool on sunny days.
Thank you for your warm welcome. We had a very good stay, the house is very nice. The ensuite bathrooms are a real plus as well as the sauna and jacuzzi. We will come back!

It has been a pleasure to stay here. You have a wonderful house and it's very well kept as well. We will certainly be recommending this to others.
We stayed in this amazing house for a couple of weeks - 4 couples, with kids left home! The place is really hard to describe because it is so much more than we expected. Also the photos don't quite do it justice (especially the outdoors pics). It is a huge house, with several levels. All the bedrooms bar one are on one upper floor. The other bedroom (that we stayed in) is accessible on the side of the building and has a lovely little terrace with a small table and chairs. Perfect for taking in the sun or simply relaxing. I did do a bit of work there. On the lower level is the huge kitchen, big dining area with a really cool table that makes entertaining fun and loads of interesting living areas each individual and stylishly decorated. All in all it is a big place where it is easy to spend time with friends and be sociable, or retreat to one of the cosy, quirky but fantastic living spaces for me-time. We weren't quite sure what we would do there for 2 weeks as it seemed a little remote, but it is SO relaxing and welcoming we spent the first week just staying put and enjoying it. The swimming pool is great and I did my lengths every morning. The area just beyond the pool is great in the evening for a drink (or many more). The bedrooms are really special. Big and very well appointed. Comfortable beds and interesting bathrooms (ours had a built-in bath). The owner Fred is super friendly and accommodating. We were welcomed by him and his partner and to our surprise the fridge was filled with local produce and there was also some wine and fresh bread left for us! Great surprise and even better after the long drive down! For shopping we went to the closest town and there were 2 large supermarkets there as well as the usual bakeries/butchers etc. The area is very beautiful. The mountains are stunning and we found some really lovely villages to explore. We had a great dinner one night in Sauve. Really cute village well worth exploring. We ate on a square high up overlooking the river below. I could go on and on. The place has so much charm and is so well appointed, we could have stayed for longer. We have amazing memories and special thanks to Fred for having created this small piece of paradise.
Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.

The bed gave us the best sleep ever. We just wanted to write and thank you both properly for sharing your beautiful home in Saint Paul de Vence. Our week was magical and the Pool Apartment was perfect to relax and unwind. The bed gave us the best sleep ever (we've even decided to buy one!).
