We have spend a wonderful holiday at the villa. The villa is ideal, spacious and nicely decorated. The children loved the pool and the table tennis table! It is an ideal base to visit the region. The market in Pézenas should not be missed. We have driven a boat, ridden horses and hired bikes in Marseillan and seen flamingoes! Dream holiday. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. We spent 5 days in September in Château Entre-Deux-Mers, we were 4 couples of friends. It is an exceptional castle very well located with all modern luxury. The building, garden and pool are fascinating and the interior has been recently decorated with design furniture by a very talented architect offering a modern and luxurious experience. A superior place for demanding guests. We recommend to use the available local catering options (dinners and breakfast) who cook excellent meals with respect of local ingredients and recipes. Plenty of wine châteaux to visit in the surroundings and the city of Bordeaux is worth discovering for a guided tour, dinner or cultural activity. We will definitely come back!
We had a glorious family week - unbelievable calm and restful views over the vines, extensive grounds, with a good balance of shade and sun, a fabulous pool, a huge and cool interior with very well curated equipment (not just your usual IKEA) - all lovely in every way. Debbie was a perfect host: super discreet, but there with advice and troubleshooting whenever needed and above all, so thoughtful in ensuring that we could make the most of our time there through enjoying local sites, markets and produce (including walnuts and jams from the property), of which there are lots, within easy reach! We knew we were in for a great holiday as soon as we saw that a bottle of wine was awaiting us from the vines outside our window and we were right.
The house is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The rooms are large and the beds are nice. The pool is perfect and well maintained and the beautiful large garden with multiple seating areas offers enough relaxation space for a group of 7 or more. What we were most impressed with is the beautiful kitchen with a large range of pans and other kitchen utensils. We love to cook so we were very satisfied with this. All in all, a fantastic house with an attentive host who responds quickly to questions.

Breathtaking. What a hidden gem! All the fotos of Château Velouse do not do the place justice. From the minute you enter the gates and see this magnificent château, glowing in the sunshine at the end of a sweeping drive, you know you are in for a treat. Our wonderful hosts. Claire and Phil greeted us and gave us a tour of the main building and grounds. The interior is exquisitely appointed. All the rooms are large and meticulously clean. The bedrooms are huge and comfortable without being over-fussy. The bathroom - lion clawed bath and walk-in shower - what more could you ask for after a hard day sitting beside the spotlessly clean and well-maintained outdoor pool. There's plenty of places within an hour to explore close by, so if sun-worshipping isn't your thing, like me, go to Bourges and wander around this medieval city, All in all, Château Velouse is an experience I'll never forget and one I hope to revisit

Absolutely gorgeous house. Périgueux and Saint-Émilion were both charming - wonderful food, too. Weather has been idyllic and the swimming pool and loungers were a perfect way to relax. We will greatly miss this house and take with us very happy memories of our holiday here.
We had a really pleasant holiday in the villa and enjoyed the swimming pool and the view from the garden in particular. The air-conditioning is fantastic! We found the bedrooms large and spacious and appreciated the fact that they were all ensuites. Thank you!
We had two gorgoeus weeks in this fabulous farmhouse. The house is large and spacious with everything you would need. The hosts were so wonderful and made us fell very welcome - nothing was too much trouble! There is plenty to do in the surrounding area - lots of wonderful towns to explore, canoeing, swimming in the lakes and lovely walks. We were two families with 5 teenagers. We all agreed that we would happily go back!

We have had an amazing time and are very sad to have to leave! We have loved our time lazing by the pool and leaving all the stresses of our normal lives far behind. The owners have been perfect hosts. and the house has had everything that we needed. We really enjoyed visiting this part of France for the first time and would recommend all the beautiful Bastide villages. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can come back!

Very nice place for a stay with friends or family, beautiful interior and exterior spaces, with a magnificent view. In addition, it is possible to take beautiful walks starting from the property.
