So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. This is the most wonderful place to have a family holiday; beautifully furnished, spotless, spacious and as peaceful as you could possibly hope a holiday to be. The pool is glorious, we spent hours playing table tennis, had wonderful meals on the big table outside and we watched the stars at night time. In the local area are vineyards, beautiful mediaeval towns and castles and lots of lovely food to be found in markets. It’s a perfect place for a happy holiday.
Lovely spacious house. We loved staying here! The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was big and comfortable :-) The location was really good to. We enjoyed going down to the riverside cafe, kayaking on the river, cycling, sightseeing, eating! We would definitely come back.
Wonderful. We had a wonderful stay in a very nice and pleasant house. Everything is well thought out down to the smallest detail. Our hosts are lovely. I thank them very much for everything. We loved these magical moments. A little haven of peace.
Just to say that we have enjoyed our time here enormously. You have the most beautiful home in a wonderful location! We only left the house twice other than to shop for food. Once to go to Château Bridoire (a good recommendation thank you) and Château Montbazillac and a second time today to go to an aqua parc. Thank you very much!

Who would have guessed you could have daily swims in April? This fabulous pool really was the star. The apartment is well equipped and immaculately clean. The village is a comfortable walk away and there's an excellent ELeclerc grocery that's a short drive. (You will need a car if you intend to go anywhere once you've arrived. Get a small non-electric one.) We've already booked our next stay.
Our holiday for the past week in this beautiful property has been nothing but a 5 star experience. Thierry and Philippe provided everything to such a high and professional standard for us. The house and pool area were perfect in every way. So peaceful and relaxing, we would definitely return and would advise anyone in booking, to do so.
We just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday in your beautiful house. You have made everything so comfortable and easy and it was such a joy to stay there. The location was perfect, such a peaceful spot with stunning views, in a pretty village. It exceeded all of our expectations. The region is so interesting too. We loved it all but especially the salt water swimming pool and the way you have landscaped the whole outside areas. We spent as much time as we could relaxing there. The weather wasn’t the best but just being here with the cows and enjoying all the little touches in the house was enough for us - oh and we still enjoyed the pool! A wonderful week for three generations of us, from 128 months to 70 years. We've had a great time.
What a find- this beautiful house and garden were even more gorgeous than the photos. It felt like staying in the home of your most stylish, thoughtful tasteful friends, and being looked after immensely well! We loved it and it was extremely hard to drag ourselves away. The region was new to us and a delight- glorious and distinctive local environs and easy to access and explore slightly further afield places. Eimear and Sian could not have been more helpful, and we hope to return as soon as we can!
Really great. The location was great. We weren’t able to make use of all the nearby activities as our children are still very young but we hope to do more of them next year. We thought the house was really well laid out, very well equipped kitchen, very clean. We thought the set up of the secured garden/pool area but then having the separate area outside the house to enjoy was great - and we loved eating all our meals on the terrace. Communication from the owners was good and the caretaker was very responsive.
We had a wonderful family stay at La Maison Folignon. We were quite numerous and the house lent itself perfectly: very large living room, very comfortable and equipped kitchen, quality materials, comfort of having a bathroom and a toilet per bedroom, rooms that are spacious and comfortable (heated bed!). Clare even provided us with enough to welcome our two little ones of 8 months and 3 years in a very comfortable way. We asked Andy, Clare's husband, to cook us a birthday meal the evening of our arrival, during which we feasted. Clare and Andy were both discreet and immediately present when we needed them. I recommend this accommodation 100%!
What a fantastic week we had at Mas de Clouze. The house is beautiful and we loved the attention to detail like the towels and soap in all the showers. The woods proved to be brilliant for treasure hunts for the kids and of course we spent many hours at the lovely pool! All in all a great week! We’d love to come back.
The owners are fantastic hosts! Always available and attentive. The house is just like the photos and ideal for a family retreat. We spent an unforgettable week there and experienced moments forever engraved in our memories.
A fantastic holiday and would love to return. The night market at Lacapelle a real highlight as well as Parc en Ciel, kayaking at Vitrac and of course the pool.
We all had a lovely time. The accommodation was so huge that we could all find space when we wanted that and a communal get-together when desired. Our son-in-law really enjoyed cooking on the Aga and produced some spectacular meals. Needless to say that we all had fun in the pool on sunny days.
Can I just say what a beautiful house and location this was for our holiday, spot on!
We’ve had a wonderful time thank you. Yes, it did get pretty hot last week, but coming from England we shouldn’t moan..! It’s such a stunning location and the house is very comfortable and cool in the heat. We really don’t want to go home but I’m afraid we have to… Maybe we can come again next summer?
