What a wonderful place to have a holiday. Saint-Sulpice is so beautiful and so well equipped – we have had four holidays with Pure France and this is the best house we have stayed in and the pool area is so comfortable and although our weather has not been great we have spent hours outside and used hundreds of logs on the poolside fire. Both of you, Simon and Nicholas have been so helpful in many ways and we feel that we have become friends with both of you. Thank you for providing a great selection of wines and for arranging the excellent dinner on Thursday – that was a real experience. You both have every reason to be very proud of what you have created and we all had a great holiday. Many thanks for looking after us so excellently. An amazing place to stay. Will definitely be back. Wonderful, excellent and charming (and that just Simon and Nicholas) Thank you. As above. Could not want for a better place. Happy to stay here for a long time. Thank you.
We spent a fantastic week at Villa Azure in September, as a family group of three couples. I agree with all the favourable comments about this property: the villa has an amazing amount of space; the location is quiet, but an easy walk to a good supermarket; the train station is conveniently close and made trips to Nice and Monaco really easy without a car. The walk up to Haut de Cagnes was steep but very worthwhile! The kitchen is extremely well equipped for enjoyable cooking followed by eating out on the terrace. The villa is immaculately maintained and we loved the heated pool. Jean Luc is a great host – very welcoming and happy to assist with any queries.
This is the third time at Villa Kali and I can't think of any more superlatives. The villa ticks all the boxes and some. The beaches at Grau Agde and Portiragnes are well worth a visit as well as Valros with all its restaurants.
Mission accomplished, we came for a week to rest in a family holiday and we are sad to leave. One week was not enough! Thank you for answering our few requests and we love your villa! The A/C is perfect, beds are great. All the games available and even managed to read 2 books! The ice machine, the 3 ovens... All wa perfect! Happy summer. All the best.
Thank you for a lovely stay, the house is superb. I loved the comfort, location and aesthetics of the house and will be sure to recommend it to others for an escape with everything . Thanks for treating us so well.
Perfect stay. A very high quality renovation where stone blends with wood and contemporary furniture. A huge and ideal porch for dinner, barbecue and admire the countryside and hillsides on one side and a pool enchanted in this "Provencal farmhouse" on the other. Very high quality amenities and bedding. The sober and neat decoration with touches of contemporary art ensures a soothing balance and conducive to rest. A spacious cathedral living room with a stunning solid wood table. Here and there, small details in the amenities and decor (a special mention in the toilet of the master suite, I'll let you discover it). In addition, Christophe is very friendly and very attentive to his hosts. In short, this stay in the countryside between two seas delighted us all.
The property is set in lovely grounds; away from it all yet close to the bastide towns of Monpazier and Villereal. We particularly enjoyed the pool area, which is well kept and maintained on a regular basis by one of the locals. The house is comfortable and equipped with everything you need.
What a fantastic holiday we have had! Every aspect has been superb. We both agree (and that's unusual!) that this is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail is superb and your warmth and hospitality has been much appreciated. We shall look forward to a return visit.
A lovely relaxing holiday in a beautiful property in a fantastic part of the country. The morning bread delivery was especially welcome and the bread itself has been superb! We tried all of M. Marty's restaurant recommendations and were not disappointed. Will especially miss the fabulous scenery from all corners of the house!
We have absolutely loved staying here. It's a stunning place - both inside and out. We enjoyed cooking meals in the excellent kitchen, eating on the terrace and had great times pool-side. This was a memorable holiday for us and our adult children - a very special time together for us all. Thank you both for everything you have done to make this happen. We would so love to come back.
This is my second visit to the beautiful ‘Rusty Shears gite’ hosted by Kirstie and Russell. From the outset our stay was just perfect. We were made very welcome and even had welcome drinks upon arrival. This was a special visit for my mums birthday and Kirstie even baked a cake, which was absolutely delicious. The gite is immaculately presented and the interior is simply gorgeous, with sumptuous cushions, uniquely bespoke painted furniture and house plants that compliment the gite’s luxurious eclectic style. The outside space is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and listening to the nature that surrounds the outside space. They have thought of everything; an outside eating area, complete with overhead sails to stay in the shade, corner sofa area complete with parasol to stay in or out of the shade, a bbq area with small outside prep area, hot tub and even 4 sun loungers. The location is set in the countryside so expect to drive or cycle to the local vineyards and restaurants but rest assured Kirstie and Russell can recommend plenty of places of interest and even arrange cycle hire or restaurant bookings if preferred. All in all a really tranquil long weekend away that offered us plenty of tasty local food, vineyard visits, rest and relaxation in the sunshine. If you’re an animal lover then you’ll also appreciate Kirstie’s love of animals too and if you’re lucky you’ll get to taste a freshly laid egg from ’Cluckingham palace!’ A truly wonderful space and warm welcome that will encourage you to return. A gem of a holiday find - we will definitely be going back soon! Thank you Kirstie and Russell for your hospitality during our stay at Rusty Shears gite and for making great memories!
A very beautiful setting for our first family trip to Europe! The villa and surrounds were so beautiful that nobody wanted to go anywhere… just sit and relax. A fantastic kitchen helped us feed our big group. Brent and Debbie were very welcoming and made our week very special. Thank you.
Beautiful château with magnificently decorated rooms and recently refurbished swimming pool. The owner gave us an unforgettable holiday.
Like a 5 star hotel! What a great week we spent in your lovely home in France. You have done it so well and we really felt we were staying in a family home not simply a gîte. Your attention to detail shows. The garden is beautiful and all the 'toys' were very much appreciated with a week long tennis and croquet tournament! And of course the piece de resistance was the swimming area which was like a 5 star hotel.
Thank you for a great 2-week stay here. The house is lovely and we have enjoyed staying here. Can highly recommend the Château de la Rivière vineyard tour, 10 Euros per person and well worth it. Best meals out we had were at Bistro Pharell (the food is sooo good!) and Bistro Maritime in Libourne - great river views from the terrace. Saint-Émilion is a must - so beautiful. If you are a fish lover, a trip out to Arcachon is well worth a visit. Chez Pierre is amazing for seafood. Dunes du Pilat are also worth the climb for the spectacular views! Sunny evenings by the pool are also amazing. Had a great time overall, thanks so much. PS. We think the tortoise should be called Therry (Titi to short) fora tortoise he can move fairly quickly! And loves lettuce! And tomatoes!
Pure France clients - Lovely location with beautiful views in a quiet and peaceful setting. Fantastic facilities, the house had everything you needed and more, super swimming pool, lovely and warm, well maintained and enjoyed by all the family. Alan and Madeline were on hand to assist at all times, we wish them every happiness in their new life in France.

It is beautiful spot... We loved the pool and the views and wild-life spotting. We would recommend Poltrot as a beautiful spot for food and a paddle in the river, Grottes de Villars is well worth a visit with kids to see the cave paintings. Aubeterre and Brantôme beautiful.
Great vacation spent in Le Mas de Combet! Quiet house in the countryside with a superb pool. We were able to enjoy all the amenities on site. Thank you to our host for their excellent welcome and availability throughout the stay. We really recommend this property for a week with friends.
We had such a lovely week at Les Cabannes with 3 generations of our family... A fantastic, well equipped, welcoming house in a beautiful place, set in so much space for everyone to do their own thing, if they so desire. Les Cabannes really is in perfect seclusion but not isolation - plenty of wonderful things to see and do nearby, if you can persuade yourself (or anyone) to leave the pool!
The house and the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Facilities were excellent. Fantastic holiday.

The Domaine de Nérige is magnificent. The house is very well equipped and very large. We were 14 friends and were able to enjoy this warm and party-friendly place. Sandie and available while being very discreet. Our stay was truly perfect!
A great family gîte with loads of space for us all. We had some great walks around here, the gorge, Orpierre and Rosans. Also managed to fit in time lazing around the pool, sunbathing and reading. Perfect holiday! Hope to be back...
Very nice stay in a beautiful house. The unit is ideally located by the Canal du Midi. There are many activities to do in the area (hikes, water sports, tastings, ...). The hosts are lovely and available. We particularly appreciated the many recommendations for discovering the region. The accommodation is well decorated, spacious and well-equipped. The pool is large and not overlooked. The bedding is also nice. A big plus is the number of bathrooms that makes it easy for a large group to get organized. We had a great time in a fantastic setting with a rare value for money. We'll be happy to go back! Thanks again!
Lovely spacious house. We loved staying here! The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was big and comfortable :-) The location was really good to. We enjoyed going down to the riverside cafe, kayaking on the river, cycling, sightseeing, eating! We would definitely come back.
Maison Paguignan is a beautiful home set in a remote, quiet area in the south of France, yet close enough to small and large towns, as well as the sea. The home itself is stunning and is more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The owner, Philippe, has created a beautiful holiday home that caters to your every need. His attention to detail is remarkable, he has truly thought of everything to ensure the most pleasant stay possible. Philippe resides next door, but the use of the pool and outdoor eating areas was for our exclusive use. Both the interior and exterior of the home were gorgeous, filled with lovely antique and modern furniture. The pool was heated and perfect for our children as it had both a shallow and deep end. And there were three outdoor eating areas to choose from, one with a vine of grapes growing above. It was an absolute pleasure staying at Maison Paguignan, as well as meeting Philippe. We very much hope to come back again some day.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The private, secluded setting was just what we needed. We used th eoutdoor kitchen all the time, such a wonderful addition to the property. We will be back!
Where can we begin to tell you how wonderful your warmth and kindness have made our holiday so special at your beautiful Le Chambarru. Your renovations and thoughtful kitchen cooking utensils have such taste and quality that we all enjoyed cooking. The location has proven geographical delight.
