Wonderful stay, 5 children and 8 adults all found happiness. Bedroom, bathroom, very spacious living room as well as a pool terrace perfectly arranged for everyone and the little extra of an outdoor kitchen with barbeque. The proximity is very quiet, in the countryside but at a very correct distance to do activities. We thank the host for making this villa available for our holidays. We recommend without hesitation. We had a superb 11 day stay in Fitou. Everything was as expected when we arrived - the property has everything you would expect and more when travelling with young children - in our case a 10 month old as well as 2½ year old twins. The car beds were a huge hit with the twins! The village of Fitou is also really nice - there are over 10 wines caves selling high quality local Fitou. There are also some excellent restaurants - would recommend Vidals if you are taking the kids. Outside of Fitou, Perpignan, Narbonne and Carcassonne are all realistic day trip options and the resort of Leucate is also good for a more traditional seaside ambience.
We adore this house - it is our third visit this year! The atmosphere here is so conducive to being happy and relaxed. And now to expose the biggest secret of the year - Christmas at Orchard Farmhouse has been a magical experience. The Baquiés are the most agreeable hosts in the world.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this superb villa. Enjoyed it all the views, the pool, the food and especially the peace and tranquility. Thank you to all that helped our stay be so lovely. PS: Loved the little touches in the house - the fresh flowers etc…

Expect a warm welcome from friendly and helpful owners, Nicky and Richard to the lovey château. Beautifully located among vine covered fields and wooded hills, we'd enjoyed the peace, the views, the wonderful pool and the space. The château is not far from some pretty villages dotted around the River Lot and Cahors is only 25 minutes away. Plenty to do and see in the area, with the opportunity to return back to our holiday oasis where we could barbecue and relax or play a round of golf on site in their vast grounds. Loved it.

Beautiful château and very well maintained grounds which are well equipped to prevent children from being bored. The kids absolutely loved the pool and having the shaded area was brilliant for everyone. Everything you could need for a fortnightwith the family - our party included toddlers, a newborn baby and grandparents. the daily housekeeping service was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend a catered evening (we chose Indian food). Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. We hope to be back.
We have just arrived back from Maison Palatini and we all had a wonderful time. The villa is beautiful in such a quiet place and yet minutes from the town centre. The pool is wonderful. My Grand daughters were never out of it! I would also like to say that Andrew and Sharman were most helpful and such nice people. Thank you so much.
We have had the most wonderful time at Maison des Hirondelles. The villa is beautiful and had everything we needed, so clean, comfortable and well thought out. Thank you for making us feel so welcome Cédric. Our daughter Edie, who is 8 months old had a wonderful time in the swimming pool and very much enjoyed her first holiday here in France. We visited Narbonne, Carcassonne, Gruissan, Minerve (fantastic chocolate shop!), Béziers, Canal du Midi with the 9 locks. Thank you for showing us your wine cellar, such a lovely touch. We would love to come back.

It has been a great pleasure meeting you both and staying with you. We thoroughly enjoyed our first evening with you both and learning a little about the area. What you have done with your property is truly magnificent despite the artisans! We enjoyed following your recommendations for places to visit and have navigated our way through the vineyards - thank you for our adventures! I spent a few days with my family at Le Mas Pouget The stay there was fabulous, particularly because the place is very refined and because the location is ideal for excursions in the Cévennes park
This is a spacious, stylish house perfect for families, friends and couples in the heart of pretty Vezenobres located within an easy hour of mountains, rivers, gorgeous markets, Roman towns with their summer festivals and even the Mediterranean. The house itself is so lovely both in and out - you will no doubt be back again and again!
Lovely spacious house. We loved staying here! The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was big and comfortable :-) The location was really good to. We enjoyed going down to the riverside cafe, kayaking on the river, cycling, sightseeing, eating! We would definitely come back.
We spent a fantastic week at Villa Bellara in September, as a family group of three couples. I agree with all the favourable comments about this property: the villa has an amazing amount of space; the location is quiet, but an easy walk to a good supermarket; the train station is conveniently close and made trips to Nice and Monaco really easy without a car. The walk up to Haut de Cagnes was steep but very worthwhile! The kitchen is extremely well equipped for enjoyable cooking followed by eating out on the terrace. The villa is immaculately maintained and we loved the heated pool. Jean Luc is a great host – very welcoming and happy to assist with any queries.
We have had a very enjoyable time here for the past two weeks really busy doing nothing! Very hot and very grateful for the wonderful pool. House had everything we could need. Your book of useful info was terrific help
We have had a most amazing week. The weather has been perfect and this beautiful house has been a haven of peace and tranquility for adults and children alike. Needless to say we don't want to go home!
This was a great house for a family break... perfect for the adults and small children in our party. We loved the peaceful location with local wildlife... great views and birdwatching! House comfortable and very well equipped kitchen for the enthusiastic cooks! Plenty nice outside sitting areas... and a fabulous pool. We did not explore much of the local area but would very much recommend Monpazier which was charming.
We spent a beautiful 2 weeks here! We felt at home in this fabulous house. La Baie du Lac was a real favourite. We really hope to return.
Just returned from an outstanding holiday at the Orchard Farmhouse! The pool and grounds were just fantastic - it did help with three days at 30+ degrees! What a super week at the villa! The pool was fabulous – great size and depth. The villa felt like a home from home, with everything catered for. Can recommend a bike ride over to Capestang – lunch of pizza and salad was fantastic. What can we say about Philippe? He has been welcoming, attentive, receptive, but somehow invisible at the same time! Many thanks for organising the ‘fauteuil’ for mum. A casual enquiry about hiring a wheelchair led to a delivery of one for the week. Who could ask for more?!

What a wonderful stay we have had and what a special part of France! Olonzac market on a Tuesday was a real highlight. Kayaking at Puicheric was so much fun and the water was crystal clear for swimming. Narbonne and the market was quite a spectacle - such a fun and varied trip. This was the most perfect house for our extended family to reconnect and relax in. The house was beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The outside spaces were lovely, with plenty of options for a large group to socialise. We particularly enjoyed the outside kitchen, pool and table tennis in the barn. The walk back from the local bar was lovely. All in all we would thoroughly recommend this property and hope to return one day. Thank you so much.
Our stay at Maison Baleyssagues was prefect for our week in May was brilliant. A very spacious and exceptionally well maintained and equipped villa. Fantastic swimming pool and grounds. The property manager Frederic was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. We can honestly say it was one of the best villa’s we have ever stayed in.
