The acccommodation is beautifully presented with lots of lovely little touches. There's everything you need but if not the hosts are just next door and couldn't be more helpful. Vouvant is a very short walk away and has a handful of bars, restaurants and shops so you can just leave the car and relax if you really need to with off. We'd highly recommend a stay a The Piglet Barn and will most certainly be back.
We enjoyed the house very much. We especially enjoyed the kitchen. The provision of cook books, an array of perfectly clean utensils. A stock of herbs and spices was a real bonus. We hope many more come and enjoy it as we did.
The house and grounds are truly outstanding. Excellent facilities! The Wii provides welcome entertainment for the children (and adults) during breaks from the sun. The kitchen was very well stocked. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were very well hosted throughout. This was an exceptional holiday which I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

We had a lovely lazy two weeks by the pool! With the hot weather the air conditioning was very welcoming at night time. We have used Pure France several times over the last 6 years and this villa has definitely been the best equipped and most accurately described. 5 / 5.

What a lovely property! Lots of space. We were a big family group, mixed ages. The pool was a godsend as the weather was très chaud! Beautiful sunsets. The place was very well equipped. Didn’t use the Moroccan room as it was just too hot for us. The owner was very communicative and helpful to my queries. Nothing was too much trouble. Really nice to receive some wine and coffee on arrival too. Thanks so much Estelle and co. What a wonderful holiday we have had ! Sad it’s over!
Thank you Corelle and Stephen for a wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage. We loved the peace and quiet, cycling around the quiet lanes and watching the kingfishers flying in and out of their nests at the lake. We found it all so relaxing and tranquil and would love to return again. Thank you also for the welcome treats and the lovely chats with you both. Colombat Cottage is a very special place.
We truly had a fantastic holiday. I needed the rest and some time with my children and parents and Château Entre-Deux-Mers certainly afforded me that. Again thank you, your château is lovely and it provided my family with some great memories of a relaxing holiday in France.
Wonderful stay over the Easter weekend with a group of friends. Amazing house that had everything we needed in the most stunning setting. Sandie was great to deal with, really informative and responsive and made us feel right at home. The wine store in the house with amazing local wines at unbelievable prices was a real bonus!

We found the holy trinity of travel in our first trip to the Dordogne in as much as our stay provided the perfect property, superb hosts and a wonderful location. Owners have renovated the property wonderfully by melding traditional Dordogne architecture with contemporary interior design that maintains the character of the property but also provides modern comforts. The location of the cottage combines a secluded rural position with easy access (5 minutes walk) to Thonac's 2 restaurants, shop and hotel bar. Similarly the main road through Thonac takes you through the picturesque Vezere valley with Montignac and our favourite Saint Leon only a few minutes drive. Médiéval Sarlat, Beynac and Domme are slightly further afield but still an easy journey. Caves to canoeing, troglodytes to trekking and food and drink aplenty are all easily accessible from Thonac and you really can make any sort of holiday from this property. Its magnificent!
Perfect little getaway. So pleased that we came to stay at Maison Meunier. The cottage was perfect for our family holiday with plenty of space for the four of us but still with that cosy feel. It was lovely to be able to come home after our exploring and relax with the kids by the pool in the afternoon sun. The location was great and we had more than enough options for places to go. Thanks for helping us create some great family memories.
It has been 6 years of trying to get to stay here but eventually we did it and it was worth the wait. The owners were so kind and helpful. Providing super cheeses, wine, early morning deliveries and a lovely meal out. And all of that before even mentioning the beautiful house :) Everything was amazing except for the canicule, 42°C (phew!) but the pool saved us, it was amazing also. Many thanks for a load of super memories.
Our stay at Le Mas de Combet was fantastic. We had a warm welcome at our arrival, the house is perfectly situated in the countryside. It is very quiet with a very nice view on forests and fields. The swimming pool is big and clean and although the weather wasn’t very hot, the pool was perfect. Our host has given us ideas and indications about what to do in the area and has cared about us during the stay, offering his help and assistance, even with fresh bread! We definitely recommend this house and would love to stay there again, whenever possible!
Wonderful views - such a peaceful location and adore the little village. Facilities great. Everything we needed. Would have liked larger bath towels. Amazing food - loved it. Such a treat. Thank you. We spent, with our 4 children, stepchildren and our 2 granddaughters, 2 weeks of extraordinary holidays at Domaine Rabassie, from September 12 to 26. Domaine Rabassie is a magnificent place, a true haven of peace, beautifully decorated and more than comfortable. The photos on the site are already very pretty, but the reality is even better. What about the facilities: the super hyper equipped kitchen, the bedding (super comfortable king size beds), the heated swimming pool and its many sun beds, the pizza oven (homemade pizzas cooked on wood, a delight!), Billiard, the ping-pong table and….. the tennis court with, what's more, night lighting. We played tennis games at all hours…. a real pleasure. We cannot, of course, talk about Domaine Rabassie, without talking about the caretakers who live 2 km from the Domaine. They take care of the Estate with passion and perfection, they are charming and so dedicated. They greatly contributed to the success of our vacation. Many thanks to them. Thank you also to the owner for the hospitality (without forgetting the Blanquette de Limoux as a welcome gift). You feel at home at Domaine Rabassie. Holidays to live or relive without any hesitation.
The gîte located in a beautiful part of unspoilt France, great for exploring near by villages / towns holding day and evening markets, driving through vineyards, so peaceful and yet great roads to explore Sarlat, Domme and others alongside Dordogne river. The gîte is extremely well equipped, downstairs is like home from home. Outside is delightful, pool idyllic with a selection of seating areas in and out of shade, the outside cooking area was the 'icing on the cake'. The owners are wonderful hosts.
My family and I enjoyed a very relaxing week at this beautiful and luxurious house. We thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous swimming pool every day. Our children, aged 3 and 5, also had a lot of fun running around on the large grounds around the property. Debbie and Rupert are wonderful hosts, suggested lovely places to go and activities we might enjoy and we couldn’t have asked them for anything more. Our favourite places in the surroundings included Belaye for stunning panoramic views, the market in Cahors, Château Eugénie for a lovely wine tasting, Capnature for some fun activities such as Accro-branches (the equivalent of Go Ape), and boating on le Lot river… We loved our stay and hope to come back soon!
A beautifully decorated house in a quiet location close to the town. We loved embracing life in Narbonne shopping in the nearby boulangerie and food market. We also recommend hiring one of the small boats on the Canal Robine. We hope to book your home again some day.
Beautiful location, spacious rooms with large estate and very friendly owners and staff. They do their utmost to make the stay perfect. Definitely recommended.
Thank you so much for making our holiday such a comfortable one. This house is so cosy and well-equipped, especially the kitchen! Our boys loved the wooden die and boules. We have used Pure France for 5 years now and this has been by far the best holiday home! We particularly appreciated the discrete, yet available presence of the owners and the e-mails were definitely very helpful with information on which places to visit.
The villa has entirely been renovated, very well designed and equipped. It is located in a small village only a few kilometres from Pézenas. Quiet and relaxing area. Excellent stay.
Have had a great two weeks here in your wonderful house. Very spacious and well-appointed, tasteful and comfortable. Boys have thoroughly enjoyed the pool. We have appreciated tranquility and privacy. We have enjoyed exploring the area and sampling the local cuisine. Restaurant recommendations include Hotel-Restaurant du Château in Campagne, Auberge Médiévale Audrix and for rustic but delicious farmhouse cuisine - Auberge Rebeyrotte near Pressigirac Vicq. Just a little note to say thank you so much for our lovely, restful, peaceful stay in your beautiful Loft. We're sure you saw we were well and truly exhausted after a summer running events - the Loft was THE PERFECT ANTIDOTE! Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing two weeks. We have loved getting to know this part of France (and it’s wine!), playing boules in the garden and watching all the birds. We particularly enjoyed the Grand Cafe Occitane and the beaches at Leucate. Your attention to detail and the warm welcome made us feel immediately at home and we really appreciated the pool being kept so clean.
