We have had the most fabulous holiday. Villa Montplaisir was perfect - and so well equipped. Wish we were staying for another week. We're going to miss the pool - and the shady table for breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
What a beautiful, well appointed home in a wonderful location. Despite the odd bit of rain we and our guests enjoyed our two week stay immensely. Thank you to the owners who were perfect hosts – helpful, friendly and on hand when needed, without encroaching an inch on our privacy. We could not have asked for more, either of you or of Domaine de Nérige. You have designed the perfect holiday home and we and our guests would have been happy to stay longer, much longer. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We have enjoyed every second. There is such a relaxed and calm atmosphere at Maison Four à Chaux! Perfect, We've been spoilt. We've enjoyed dining in all the areas around the house, especially the pool house! We would recommend a visit to Rochefort and Cognac. The park in Saint-Savinien is great for little ones. Boat rider, inflatables and picnics. Thank you for the gifts on our arrival... Yvonne has been a perfect host... great advice and support. Thank you so much.
We just wanted to send a short note to express our delight at this property and the warmth of the welcome from the owners. Their level of attention to detail is fantastic, to the extent that this feels like a boutique hotel level of accommodation.
Lovely old place restored by Frederic. We were lucky enough to be there for the festival in Sauve which was great! Far too hot to go hiking in the hills but managed trips to Uzes ( beautiful) and of course the Haribo museum for the kids. Pool cover needs 2 people and doesn’t come all the way back but it’s for safety. Kitchen well equipped for a large group. Really enjoyed our stay!

We had the most wonderful week at Les Rocans last week. Please would you pass this on to the owners. We have stayed in France annually and many times in between, over the past 45 years and Les Rocans beats them all for outlook, atmosphere, amenities, beauty and suitability for our growing family. We all just loved it!
Thanks for a lovely two weeks here at Piglet. We have absolutely loved staying here. Thanks for such a warm welcome and the extra touches, too ! We've loved getting to know the village and will miss our café noisettes and glass of wine at the café. And the crepes and ice cream are fabulous. Loved exploring the area, especially the Plages des Belugas.
We enjoyed a lovely week at Le Chanlie; the house is set in wonderful, quiet surroundings and is beautifully furnished. Everything was in place to make us feel very welcome on our arrival. We had a couple of questions following arrival and the owner was really prompt in providing helpful guidance and again welcoming us to the property. The information pack provided at the property was very detailed and was invaluable in terms of guidance on local amenities and made great suggestions for places to visit in the area. Our young daughter was well catered for with plenty of toys and books to keep her amused when the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outside spaces. Similarly the house has a large collection of games and DVDs for adults too! Overall a really enjoyable week and we would jump at the chance to return!
The countryside and views are stunning. Total relaxations and happy memories to take back to Dublin.

Whether we were exploring the nearby historic villages, indulging in the region’s incredible food and wine, or simply relaxing on the terrace, every moment felt special. La Petite Maison Générille is more than just a place to stay - it's an experience, one that lingers long after you leave. We can't wait to return!

We've had a fantastic week in your beautiful home with all its attention to detail. Thank you so much – the pool table has been a great novelty, the sports equipment and bikes have entertained us for hour. We’ve loved visiting the bastides and swimming in the lake and the Lot.

This beautifully maintained property is less than two hours outside of Paris. We never wanted to leave the grounds, there is everything to keep the kids happy: miles to run, pool, tennis and playhouse. We adults lazed all day by the pool while the children run happy and wild on the enclosed grounds. The owner gave us wonderful recommendations for off the beaten path wine tastings. Make sure she shows you the mill across the stream where they make the best croissants and bread. The layout of the château allows for several families to enjoy a vacation together, while maintaining peaceful, private moments. Best family vacation ever.
We had a lovely two weeks in this beautiful old French farmhouse with its heavenly views and surrounded in wonderful countryside. We have spent most of our time in the garden, playing bolles, swimming, water ball, table tennis and using the pool table, enjoying leisurely meals on the terrace with great views. Trips out to Vaison la Romain, daily trips to the boulangie, wonderful walks, some brilliant bike rides for children and adults alike. We have seen some wonderful wildlife around the area, geckos, cicadas etc. We are sad to leave but hope to return one day.
Thank you for this great stay. The pool was warm, but the rosé was very cold. Bélaye is the most beautiful city in the world, visiting Montcuq was resplendent. We will leave here rested and recharged. 5/5
The good life. We spent a week with family in this place steeped in history. A beautiful place. Kind owners. Ideal for a family stay.
We loved the location and house. Very large and comfortable with nice dining area and amazing pool, well secured with electric cover. Very calm area. Lots of things to do and discover. We will come back again.

A truly fabulous house, super comfortable and well equipped with everything you could want. The incredible kitchen is a joy to cook in. The pool was warm and super clean. This was a really special place for our family holiday with lots of space to spread out. Clare gave us some great recommendations for places to visit and eat. Andy cooked us a delicious meal for us which is a real treat. The area is lovely and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards, unspoilt local towns and villages. We would love to return and show the area and house to other friends and family.
A very beautiful setting for our first family trip to Europe! The villa and surrounds were so beautiful that nobody wanted to go anywhere… just sit and relax. A fantastic kitchen helped us feed our big group. Brent and Debbie were very welcoming and made our week very special. Thank you.
We loved the house, pool, garden and secret staircases. Robert and Nelly looked after us so well and were charming and friendly. We had lovely dinners, picnics, running, cycling and there were several games of Sardines. Thank you so much; it's been the perfect place for a holiday.
As regular visitors we choose this area for over 30 years. This is without doubt the loveliest property we we ever had. The location and settings are glorious. We loved to sat in every places of the garden and at different times of the day. Loved the relaxing and beautiful pool area enjoyed the tasteful but functional rooms and cooked every night in this well appointed kitchen. All the small touches and details show great level of consideration from the owners.
