We have been looking forward to our week here for a very long time (due to Covid restrictions) and it did not disappoint! The garden and house are beautiful and we all loved the pool. We could have happily stayed in the garden all week but we did tear ourselves away to see Saumur, Villandry and Montsoreau. Our children, 5 and 9, particularly enjoyed the Châetau and gardens at Villandry. Thank you for a wonderful week and a warm welcome - the fizz and roses were so lovely. We hope to return.
Just to say we really enjoyed staying here. Lovely and relaxing just like being at home, especially with the ponies down the lane and swimming every day and visiting the Dordogne valley, beautiful.
We absolutely loved this beautiful place. Everything was perfect and the communication with the host was excellent. We want to come back as soon as possible!! It is a slice of paradise.
Thank you so much Thierry and Véronique for making us so welcome in your beautiful house. We've thoroughly enjoyed a mixture of exploring and relaxing. Highlights have included the great week in Chauvigny (as well as exploring the medieval town), canoeing along a scenic stretch of the river at Angles sur L’Anglin, and exploring the châteaux. Afterwards, a day trip to Poitiers and an excellent visit to Futuroscope. We finished each day relaxing in the pool and playing boules. All in all, a wonderful week in a beautiful area.

We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. We had had this property booked since 2020 to celebrate my 70th birthday together with my son and his family. This was part of a four week French vacation. The property was just as we had hoped. A typical French Château, very roomy filled with antiques. The owners were very helpful and accommodating to our every need. It was well equipped and the grounds were delightful. The pool was very much appreciated as the weather was unseasonably hot. We all enjoyed our holiday and would love to return again. Thank you.

Thank you for a wonderful two weeks at your beautiful home, we fell in love with Les Marquises as soon as we stepped out of the car the gorgeous gardens, plants, flowers and the views! Then the house where to start, the clever beautiful sense of style and decoration in every room is enchanting, warm and welcoming and although we enjoyed visiting Nyons, Vaison la Romaine and Orange, the best part of our holiday was just relaxing around the swimming pool and enjoying this outstandingly beautiful place. Extremely comfortable and stylish accommodation in renovated old buildings. Beautiful pool area a short walk from self-catering accommodation. Very quiet, perfect for families and couples. A short walk to Montsoreau for morning baguette and a small grocery. This place has everything; comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi and kitchen facilities. Great location in the Loire Valley for sightseeing or relaxing beside the pool.

Unfortunately we could not meet Eva but we were welcomed by Harold who is a very nice person. The house is very pretty and very pleasant. The rooms and the living room are very spacious. The terrace area with its plancha, the pool with its small beach and the deckchairs to relax are very appreciable.

We have had a wonderful week in your fantastic home. It has been so peaceful and tranquil here by the pool. Seeing the amphitheatre at Nîmes and canoeing under the Pont Du Gard were the highlights.
We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The villa is light, airy and spacious. It was immaculately clean, comfortable, everything worked and there are beautiful views from the upstairs terrace. The garden is very attractive. We loved having four bathrooms. The booking process was easy and efficient. We were confident that if there had been a problem, Ian, the very pleasant property manager who lives nearby, would have quickly sorted it out. The newly installed Wi-Fi was very dependable. With the restaurants in the village and the beach not too far away we didn't need to travel very far from the house - besides, the garden and pool were too good to leave for long! There are also some lovely walks in the hills behind the villa. The heated pool was the icing on the cake as we could swim on the couple of cooler days too. Even my 85 year old mum went in. We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa and we would love to return.
This property is an oasis of calm, exquisitely redeveloped and fitted out without losing the charm and character of the original distillery. Equipment, facilities, decor and soft furnishings are of the highest standard. The hosts are more akin to a concierge service, generous and make significant effort to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
We absolutely loved this house for our week-long stay for a friend's wedding - the house itself is gorgeous - really stylish with luxury fittings and furnishing, ample kitchen crockery etc and even well-stocked to use the BBQ and have food and drinks outside. The pool and view are just magnificent and there is a lovely restaurant just two steps away, as well as more bars and restaurants in nearby towns... just a perfect place for a relaxing south of France stay! We would love to return!
a wonderful treat to spend summer half term in the incomparable Le Grand Mas de Valcros. A house that really has every luxury and comfort with the most insane views. Endless pool-time, boules tournaments, visits to bastide towns and a trip to the sea - all missions that were completed with happy smiles. A million thanks for letting us share your home.

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful home. The kitchen and living area was so spacious and comfortable and the outside space was equally ideal. The pool was delightful and spacious allowing the six of us to enjoy it at the same time. The kitchen had everything we could ask for - literally home from home. The only regret about this holiday was having only one week there as it wasn’t long enough! We most definitely would return.
We are off on an amazing two weeks in Le Malardier, a house full of character and so spacious. Thank you Gay and Richard. Our American friends explored the area but we Brits who do not see the sun as much as them were more than happy to lounge around the pool. There was everything you could want in the house and the children were delighted with the toys in the attic! This is a beautiful part of France, the views are spectacular. We found some great restaurants and enjoyed the local culture. Au Revoir.
