Magical Chateau on a Hill overlooking the River Dordogne and Valley! We spent a week recently at Chateau les Tourelles and absolutely loved it! The house is quite grand and elegant and sits high up overlooking the river and valley below. Despite the endless rain (we did have some sun every day!) we enjoyed our time there immensely and hope to return soon. There are nine en-suite bedrooms that are very comfortable and lovely, each with their own flair. Very old world with recently updated bathrooms and great mattresses! The kitchen is perfectly appointed with whatever cookware, serving piece, plates and glassware etc you could possibly need. We made a few wonderful meals from the goods we found at the local markets. If there’s anything you are missing the property manager Martina is right there ready to help with anything. She’s on the property and available but not in the least bit intrusive, only super helpful. We rented bikes and explored many towns along the bike path which is at the end of the driveway. The medieval villages are stunning with so much history and steep stone walls and winding lanes through them. The owner Cassandra was very accommodating and helpful with whatever we needed and made great restaurant suggestions and day excursion suggestions. We hired a chef Teresa for 2 lovely dinners at the house. Delicious and wonderful! We loved her and her assistant Sarah. Thank you Chateau and the Dordogne region for letting us enjoy your charms. We absolutely loved it and hope to return!

We have really enjoyed staying in your beautiful home. We have been lazy and mostly stayed by the pool. We had a great couple of meals in St Émilion and we visited some vineyards. All in all a fabulous holiday. Great hoss, and the house is very well equipped!
Mas du Château is a perfect mixture or restored historic chateau and very modern high spec decor. Set in the most beautiful landscape with all the privacy needed. Amazing swimming pool and private terrace area is ideal for a large group or a small private family. Multiple entertaining spaces, along with Television and very fast internet, ideal for a group with children. Christophe and his family were very welcoming and always available to help in Person or via the internet/phone. 100% recommended, book asap.

Rabassie is heaven close by to Limoux at which there is a plethora of things to do; Swimming and tennis, running and boules, and the wicket takes spin if you follow the rules! A holiday so special, it was planned years ago, and we dreamed of the sunshine during last winter's snow. But the reality's far better than anyone thought, it's a place in a million and we wanted for naught. Grandparents, parents and five grandchildren too, we laughed and we played all the day through; but when we were thirsty the beers were imposters lacking the 'nectar of wonderful Fosters'! The house wants for nothing, its completely equipped, the mind boggles as to how it could all have been shipped. The kitchen has everything, including a spurtle, and the only sound heard is the meowing of Myrtle! Despite sporting distractions for all of us folks we were glued to the tele watching Ben Stokes. It is lucky our neighbours were only wild boar 'cos his winning four caused a deafening roar! But all of this fun could not have happened each day had it not been for Natalie and Mike and their way; No problem too great, no trouble too small, with charm and great knowledge they dealt with it all. Merci, merci, merci!
Thank goodness we found this last minute! What a find... We were the first renters in this lovely house - thank you for a wonderful week. It's like staying in a chic boutique hotel, but you have the whole place to yourself ! Everything is fabulous, the interior design and the garden and pool area. We found it hard to drag ourselves away from the pool and the little ones loved the designated play area. And we are now professional boules players... and pastis drinkers. Thanks to Mark and Gary for making our week so special.

The house is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. The Aga was a joy to use. The bathroom was spotless. The fan in the bedroom was helpful. The garden (where we spent most of our time) is a wonderfully private space. The pool is a great size...the water was crystal clear all week.

From the moment I arrived at Les Cazettes, I was completely mesmerised by it. Merci pour une quinzaine fantastique ! It was a wonderful place to spend a special birthday celebration with friends and family. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed the luxurious feel and the tasteful decor. The extra touches were much appreciated - especially the breakfast deliveries. We also enjoyed the visit to the cave at Saint-Chinian. We enjoyed the meal at the family run restaurant La Tournelle, a friendly service and very reasonable prices. For another gourmet lunch with an impressive view we enjoyed the Tour at Monterey. Good value set lunch. Thank you for everything.

We could not have made a better decision than to come to Villa La Baronne to spend the end of the year. The house is magnificent, the location unbeatable both for the surroundings (the river, the forest, the small towns...) and the proximity to Toulouse. What can we say? Our stay has been a truly perfect one with you, Connie, Peggy, Odin + the girls in Cluckingham Palace. We have loved every minute we have spent with you. We loved your gîte the minute we saw it on Pure France by Oliver’s Travels and it is even more gorgeous than we could have anticipated (if that’s possible). Everything about it, every little detail is thought through and a pure delight. As our hosts, we couldn’t have asked for more – you have been attentive, helpful and become our friends throughout our stay. Ronnie has looked forward every day to his new doggy pals dropping by to woof hello! Needless to say, we’re hoping to return next year for an even longer stay and we’ll miss you all and our lovely experience in the meantime. Thank you so much.

The property was everything we were hoping for and more. It's simple yet beautifully done out inside. The outdoor areas are great, particularly the pool. It's so well designed for a family holiday. The local village is so cute and the hotel restaurant great too. And obviously the local wine was delicious too! Couldn't have asked for more.

Magnificent and original old castle. The pool is fantastic, the kids loved the inflatables. Nice area and lounge chairs around the pool. The kids also enjoyed having the upstairs as their own space.
A very beautiful setting for our first family trip to Europe! The villa and surrounds were so beautiful that nobody wanted to go anywhere… just sit and relax. A fantastic kitchen helped us feed our big group. Brent and Debbie were very welcoming and made our week very special. Thank you.
Over the years we have stayed in around twenty different houses all over France - most were good, one or two were very good. But then there is the special one - this year. This house didn't feel like a house; it felt like home from the moment we walked through the door, after a long and tiring drive (and, bless you, there was bottle of ready chilled local wine ready and waiting for us). 'Welcome to your home' it said. The layout, décor and furnishings are delightful; and the luxury of each bedroom having its own bathroom topped it off. We had friends who came to stay for a while and they shared our thoughts. One couple even came back for a second visit on their way home. And then there is the garden – warm, private, shaded when you want it and serene. And yes, the pool is fabulous – it's a proper size. But wait until you see the garden at night, when you have your barbecue and the garden and pool lights come into play... makes the local rose taste even more morish. And then there is Pézenas - ten minutes walk away through a vineyard. And you won't go hungry there. Wonderful town. Only one regret – we couldn't parcel it up and take it home. It is, truly, an oasis.
