Great holiday. Without a doubt the most comfortable and well equipped holiday rental we have ever stayed in, this place has everything! Thank you for the ‘Welcome Pack’ and well stocked fridge, much appreciated. Fabulous terrace, a highlight was watching the balloons rise out of the morning mist.
The rental of La Bastide 1718 within the domain surrounded by hills is exceptional and provides a rare quietness. The layout of the residence allows for very pleasant and relaxed family gatherings for about 15 people; the layout of the bathrooms is perfect. The swimming pool and pool house is of ample size; this facility is completed by a gym and a sauna. The design of the kitchen makes it easy to provide daily meals for about 15 people (2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators). The laundry room allows for efficient laundry management. Two barbecues and the pool house kitchen make it easy to arrange meals with guests. The house management runs smoothly thanks to the maid service and the discreet but efficient watch of the site manager and his staff (the swimming pool is maintained during the night for example). In conclusion, an exceptional rental which justifies its price.
We have spent a perfect holiday in Bessan. The house is very beautiful, the children enjoyed the pool everyday. We particularly liked Uzès and Pézenas which really are beautiful towns. Thanks again. See you soon.
What a truly fabulous place! To be able to share this little piece of paradise, firstly with friends and then family has been a rare treat. the tranquility and beauty of the location, the incredible comfort of the accommodation and the above and beyond care taken by Meichelle, Martin and Jackie have made our stay unforgettable. It's been such a privilege to stay in your beautiful home. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to enjoy it. We enjoyed experiencing the art, the atmosphere, the views and the comfort. We really appreciated your very generous gift of wine and provisions. The village is lively and we have made good use of all it has to offer. terrific choice of the alimentation, delightful terrace and delicious food at the Bar de Prores and a timely haivent at Tiffany's Satin. We recommend a trip to Uzes, Nîmes and Avignon and had a delicious lunch on the banks of the Gardon at Colias on the way to the Pont du Gard. Also, do try the real wine from La Grappe d'Or in the village.
One cannot improve on Perfection! Where then should we begin with our praiseworthy comments ?! Should we start by mentioning the welcoming warmth and engaging, positively colourful, accomplished characters that were our hosts, the exquisite taste, elegant and classic style of decor and furnishings presenting a regal, yet comfortable, homely feel, the 15th Century magic of years of History in every corner, the scrumptious and generous welcome pack, the quiet peace of the surroundings and the relaxing, yet vibrant courtyard, bursting with greenery, punctuated by subtle pops of colour from scented roses amongst other floral tributes outside and in, including delicate orchids enhancing every room, also hung with original artwork and beneath our feet, Persian and exotic rugs to soften our tread... I could go on, but I think you get my drift! The understated luxury of this homely, comfortable haven away from the busy, demanding lives we seek to escape on holiday, has achieved the perfect balance and we look forward tremendously to another visit when life allows! If you’re lucky enough to secure a booking...You’ll love it too!
Surpassed our expectations! The Manoir was spacious, comfortable, well equipped, and set in idyllic surroundings with a wonderful pool. The custodians were very helpful and responsive to all our queries and requests. The welcome pack was generous and useful.
You really feel like you're in a family home, which is what this house should be in my opinion. The children were very happy to discover a trunk full of toys and cuddly toys, disguises to pretend they were in the Middle Ages, tons of board games, books for young and old and DVDs. The house is made very pleasant by its layout which means that there can be many people while still preserving their privacy. Finally, we enjoyed the breathtaking view every evening of the valley and in the morning waking up to the castle after going to get our croissants on foot. I also recommend the Monday morning market and the many attractions in the evening.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here, especially time spent in the beautiful garden where we enjoyed the wonderful weather and had lots of fun - very enjoyable for my 5 year old! We loved our stay! Can’t say enough about how beautiful the scenery was from the house. Close to the lake and a grocery store. Claude and Michelle were very kind and helpful. Very quiet and peaceful.

The chateau is very comfortable, and was a most enjoyable location for our stay. We are 7 adults and 3 toddlers, and it was wonderful. Thank you very much.
The house was amazing, we went as a group, 6 adults 2 infants and we all loved the house. The photos are true to life. The pool is lovely and perfect for kids as the deep end is still shallow enough for an adult to stand up in. The kitchen is well stocked and great to cook in, there is also a good bbq outside. The local village has a lovely boulangerie, butcher and little shop. Monpazier is only a 20 min drive and Fumel only 20 minutes which has a great supermarket. Samantha is a great host, she was there for anything we needed and booked us some massages. We will definitely be returning to Samantha’s house, thank you for making our first holiday in 4 years so special.
A fantastic place to be, hosts are very friendly and helpful. The gîtes are beautiful decorated and the view is stunning. We had a great time and I would not hesitate to book this beautiful domaine for a holiday again. I wrote a comment in the guestbook to encourage other people to spend their vacation at La Picholine.

So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. Special features are the large swimming pool close to the house. Beautiful rural views. In summer there are night markets in surrounding villages where you can buy all kinds of foods, from omelettes to snails, and eat them outdoors on long trestle tables - a treat for locals and tourists alike. A wonderfully relaxing place to stay, highly recommended.
A charming beautiful home from home. A relaxing fortnight as a family, soakling in the views of the French countyrside and all the character of the house. Where one family can stay in one location and spend precious time together - Malardier is the perfect place to do so
Excellent. After many many hours trawling the internet we came across Maison Celte - to say the least we are fussy and this house was as good if not better than the photos (which is not always true). Why go away and settle for anything less than you are used to at home. Beautifully kept, spotless and perfect décor. It ticked all the boxes. A car is required if you don't fancy a steep uphill walk into Tourtour. The area has the most fabulous scenery. Restaurants were not as good as we experienced last time we were in Tourtour but you don't need to go out to eat when you have such a wonderful house and facilities. Thank you to the owners for sharing your wonderful home in Tourtour.
I loved being here for two weeks and being able to use the pool nearly everyday! I haven’t swum recently so it was a great chance to practice. I enjoyed spending time with you and my family in the sun. I hope I can see you soon.

Wonderful Food, a Grand Stay. We had a wonderful stay with all or family friends, all 16 of us! Perfect location in Burgundy for touring and wine tasting! The pool was fantastic. The catering and wine service and wine selections were a highlight of our stay. 10/10! We hope to visit again in the future.
We’ve had the most special stay and made so many happy memories. The house is such fun with a young family and the children have been on many wildlife explorations around the grounds and we gave all spent hours in the pool. Thank you for your hospitality.
Had a wonderful week with friends in the magnificent Château Velouse. A lovely place to relax (by the heated swimming pool, in the sumptuous rooms and the very well appointed kitchen - not to mention strolling round the extensive grounds!). Hosts Phil and Claire could not have been more welcoming and have provided copious notes about things to do and places to see. Such was the relaxed atmosphere (and the heat!) we hardly felt the need to leave the château. Our suite was so grand, that it was even hard to leave the bedroom!
