Wow! Lucky Herman to own this place. Views, designer environments, beds to die in (obviously not literally). I felt like a Kardashian staying here. Thank you to Barbara for her help and the maintenance team who were very helpful.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We have enjoyed every second. There is such a relaxed and calm atmosphere at Maison Four à Chaux! Perfect, We've been spoilt. We've enjoyed dining in all the areas around the house, especially the pool house! We would recommend a visit to Rochefort and Cognac. The park in Saint-Savinien is great for little ones. Boat rider, inflatables and picnics. Thank you for the gifts on our arrival... Yvonne has been a perfect host... great advice and support. Thank you so much.
Great holiday. Great accommodation, fantastic hosts, wonderful holiday. A very impressive château in huge grounds make this a great venue to relax and unwind. Each room has a unique character and there is a huge kitchen. Highly recommended.
We can honestly say that Villa Baleyssagues is the best property that we have stayed in in France. The photographs on the website do not really do the house justice. It is located in a wonderful elevated position, with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The house is equipped to a very high standard with an abundance of crockery and cutlery. There were so many lovely touches, with fresh flower arrangements in several rooms and the best welcome pack we have ever had in our seven years of visiting France. Thanks Frédéric for welcoming us to the Villa and looking after us during our stay. Can you pass on our thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay in their lovely home.
Fabulous Villa and location We've been coming to the south of France for year and specifically to this area and to Seillans for the last 5 years... and this villa is as good as we have ever stayed. The villa is impeccably kept, extremely comfortable and has the most magnificent views. Everything in the villa is as advertised and works well. The restaurants of Seillans are a short walk away. Although the town itself unfortunately has no boulangerie or patisserie, Fayence is only a 5 minute drive away and has a great one of those, plus a boucherie / charcuterie around the corner, both of which are close to the big Super U supermarket. The terrace and pool are East-facing. We were worried that in the photos it looked like there was little shade provided but with the big awnings for the terrace and a few parasols for the pool, finding shade from the morning sun was not a problem. We love this area for the beautiful mountain villages (seillans, Callian, Tourrettes etc) but the ease of getting around in the largely flat area south of those villages so you can get to Cannes, Grasse and the beaches. Merci beaucoup.
Fabulous location with views to die for. Pool gorgeous and vital. Village cute with decent local restaurant. Food/wine pairing at Domaine Gayda fabulous - walking distance too!
Loved our stay. It was 6-9 of us throughout the week. Every bedroom has its own bathroom which is amazing! The rooms are very updated and charming the pool is amazing and the kitchen is well equipped for beautiful dinners on the terrace.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for making our holiday at le Mas Repenti such an amazing one. We all had a fantastic time and made some great memories. Alexandra - your house is amazing and all the tips about what to do during our stay were super useful! At home, we immediately feel a warm atmosphere, imbued with your exquisite taste and the place's true soul. Every year, you have wonderful surprises in store for us: a new room furnished with unparalleled care and originality, a garden that is transformed, a vegetable garden that offers us seasonal vegetables of exceptional quality. And what can we say about the memorable adventures we experienced, as well as the breathtaking view of Provence and the majestic Pont du Gard during our breakfasts. Thanks to you, this place is transformed into a real family home. We are already starting to count the days that separate us from our next stay. See you soon.
Perfect for a relaxing holiday. First impressions were better than the photographs. We wanted a relaxing family holiday after a very hectic year and that is what we experienced. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful but left you completely alone unless you needed something. The villa itself is spotless, beautifully laid out and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Outside is incredibly peaceful and we spend the majority of our time by the pool.. Yet although it feels beautifully isolated it is in fact only minutes from shops and lotes of things to see and dol Will definitely return if we are able.

We arrived at this delightful house to a warm welcome the property owners…Our French is woefully inadequate but the owner speaks English so our introduction to La Maison Monségur was easily understood. The house is as advertised, lots of spacious rooms, clean and the beds were comfortable. We were 3 couples and though the village centre was literally down the road with several restaurants we actually ended up cooking most evenings and making use of the terrace and its dining table, we are all enthusiastic cooks and found the kitchen very adequate... the market on Friday is definitely not to be missed, there is a great artisan boulangerie in the centre and a small supermarket within walking distance from the house. We visit the area again we would 100 % consider booking La Maison Monségur again.
We have had a wonderful relaxed and fun week here at Le Manoir de Duras. It has felt like a home from home. All the practical equipment to making things smooth and lots of games and books to enjoy as the days go by. Thank you to the owners for a lovely family week. A real holiday.
Thank you so much, we have had the most amazing week in your beautiful house. The pool, the terrace and the amazing views were a hit with everyone. Lots of wine was drunk and lazy days and evenings enjoyed here. It’s a pity we can’t stay longer.
Everything about the property was better than expected. The rooms were large, clean and wonderfully decorated. The beds and linen were first rate. The kitchen and living areas were all well appointed and had everything you need. The laundry room had 2 washing/drying machines ! The salt water pool was wonderful and there was many pool toys, ping pong table etc. The area was wonderful for e-bikes that we rented and we enjoyed the charming villages all within short drive away : Cotignac, La Celle and many more. Thomas, the property manager was helpful and took care of our excursions. The property is very private with lovely views of the mountains and vineyards. Of course the vineyard offers wine tasting and cellar visit. We were 11 family members who could not have had a better vacation. Everything about Les Trois Maisons de Valescure has 5 stars (or 3 Michelins!)
We are returning guest since now more than 5 years. We love Villa Baleyssagues and Frédéric ! We love everything in the house and all the different changes/improvement in the house due to new ownership. Pool remain the same with its impressive shape ! The only negative point is that the house is rapidly fully booked !!!
Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! We had the most wonderful ‘family and friends ‘gathering at La Petite Maison Générille. The hosts were most wonderful and nothing was too much trouble . They told us of markets, restaurants, gardens and vineyards… all were wonderful. The houses are spacious and well equipped the grounds and gardens perfect and the salt water pool... bliss. We had children and tiny grandchildren with us and it was the perfect base to explore the wonderful villages such as Sarlat with its night market and Domme . We went canoeing and swam in the river, visited nearby châteaux and ended our week at a wonderful Bricante taking a few French antiques home… Altogether a fabulous week I only wish we had stayed longer ! We look forward to returning to this very special place with wonderful hosts who were so kind and helpful.
We had a lovely time at Corinne's apartment. It is very clean, had all amenities for daily living, she has thought of everything. Beautiful, peaceful location, amazing balcony to relax on. Full shutters and blinds on all windows and doors for complete privacy. It is a very calm and peaceful place to unwind and short walk to restaurants and right on the beach. Massive supermarket directly opposite which sells everything you could ever need including excellent seafood. Highly recommended.
The most beautiful holiday home in the best location! Perfect for our group of 7 adults and 4 children. The layout of the house is perfect and the decor is absolutely stunning. We all had the best holiday and cannot wait to return!
Just to say we really enjoyed staying here. Lovely and relaxing just like being at home, especially with the ponies down the lane and swimming every day and visiting the Dordogne valley, beautiful.

An absolute treasure of a place to stay with attentive hosts making sure our trip was comfortable and stress free. It's a home from home with the added delight of the sun, relaxing pool and sitting out of an evening with friends and wine.
