House and grounds are fantastic! Excellent facilities. The pools and toys have been lots of fun. We've had such a good week. It's just gone too quickly. We will definitely be recommending the château.
We all had a very enjoyable 2 weeks in La Montade, the villa was very well equipped and a beautiful setting. The weather was also brilliant!
We've rented a lot of other villa, châteaux and domaines, but this one was the best! The six ensuite bedrooms were all the same size and had the same amenities so none of the six couples had a less than optimal room as we've experienced in other rentals. The two on-site staff were wonderful and spoke perfect English (they're Irish so not a surprise). The location in Burgundy was perfect for day trips. If you book this rental, you'll be delighted!
We could not have made a better decision than to come to Villa La Baronne to spend the end of the year. The house is magnificent, the location unbeatable both for the surroundings (the river, the forest, the small towns...) and the proximity to Toulouse. The house has the services you expect and much more. An excellent experience that I hope we can repeat again. Thanks to Isabelle and Philippe for offering Villa La Baronne guests a five-star stay. What a remarkable project this house has bee ! Spacious and comfortable with fantastic garden and pool. We enjoyed visiting Bordeilles Castle and beautiful river, plus Brantome and paddle-boarding. We loved the market in Riberac, but the best of all was being here. So sad to leave !
We loved staying here. Domaine du Château is full of character and very comfortable. With the giant wine press in the dining room and the vines across the lane, you certainly know you are in Burgundy. We really liked the mix of antique French furniture and original contemporary art works, so nicely done. The kitchen is beautiful and really well equipped and the market in Beaune is amazing for fantastic local produce. Apart from driving through all the famous vineyards and going wine tasting, we really enjoyed visiting the château at Rochepot and the ancient market at Nolay. The countryside is very pretty and great for walking, but best of all, was just sitting drinking wine on the terrace, enjoying the wonderful view and tranquillity. We booked the Eurostar to Le Creusot which made the journey really easy and quick. You can pick 'up a hire car' at the station and then it's just a short drive down quiet country roads which felt a world away from London. Would definitely recommend!
We have had a very enjoyable 2 weeks stay at Le Pigat. There is plenty of room and it is very well equipped with everything you need. The daily delivery of fresh bread is a must for anyone staying here. Very tasty. We spent lazy days by the pool. Lots of fun. Evenings spend dining on the terrace, in the true French way. We would like to thank everyone for their very friendly welcome on our arrival.

Fabulous house on the edge of the village with magical views and absolute peace and privacy. We were thrilled to see so much wildlife, so many wonderful birds, butterflies, red squirrel and deer around the house. We flew into Limoges which is a tiny and very easy airport to manage. Car hire is just outside the exit, the roads are blissfully empty and the drive to Lusignac was a pleasure. We couldn't have had a better week.
Fabulous villa with view. Staying at the property made our vacation unforgettable. We were a group of 8 and the house was plenty big enough for all of us adults. The terrace with the pool was unbelievable. We spent many evenings dining and laughing and enjoying the beautiful view which showed the city of Grasse in the distance sparkling. The house was spotless and decorated beautifully. Every amenity was available. The owners were so helpful with any question. We can't wait to return to the Côte d'Azur and this house.

Nice and clean house in a very quiet area. Each room has a bathroom, so it's perfect for several families. Beautiful and large fenced pool, ideal for children. The picnic table under the trees is great when it's hot. I would recommend the house to everyone.
What a beautiful place to spend a week. The villa is fabulous, spacious and homely with everything we needed. The location was perfect to explore Collioure on foot. We have never visited this part of France before, so we have loved investigating and had some fantastic meals!
We have just returned from the most wonderful holiday in an equally wonderful house La Barde. The owner greeted us warmly and had also baked us a cake which was unexpected but so appreciated. The house is absolutely beautiful and large, spacious, tastefully furnished rooms allowed everyone to gather or find a quiet area. The house is exceptionally well equipped and mirrors and sockets perfectly placed for hairdrying, a very important feature! Fabulous good sized pool with enough loungers for all. We were 8 strong, 2 sets of parents with our 4 grown up children (18-25). We all agreed that this was the best house that we have rented ( and we have been renting lovely houses for many years). The owner was simply delightful and we would see her from time to time cleaning the pool early morning. Ideally situated for nearby towns of Aubeterre and Bourdeilles and some lovely walks directly from the property too. We would not hesitate from returning to La Barde in the future and think it would be ideal for all age groups.
We had a very enjoyable week in your comfortable and charming house. We can recommend the dairy products from the local farmer and one of our favourite places to visit was Chinon. We have also discovered Savennieres wine which is a real treat. We would like to come back soon!
This beautifully maintained property is less than two hours outside of Paris. We never wanted to leave the grounds, there is everything to keep the kids happy: miles to run, pool, tennis and playhouse. We adults lazed all day by the pool while the children run happy and wild on the enclosed grounds. The owner gave us wonderful recommendations for off the beaten path wine tastings. Make sure she shows you the mill across the stream where they make the best croissants and bread. The layout of the château allows for several families to enjoy a vacation together, while maintaining peaceful, private moments. Best family vacation ever.
A very well located and easily reachable and comfortable villa, close to Cannes, the beaches and the mountains. Quiet area, large pool and nice gym.
We had a wonderful week in your most charming house. The weather has been perfect and our two and five year olds have made the most of the your swimming pool and lovely garden. We would love to return again soon!

Lovely holiday home. This was the first time we had stayed in this area of Perigord. The house was fantastic, very large for 4 people and had a really good swimming pool. The house is only 2 km from the river which is also lovely to swim in. There is also a lake nearby at Grolejac as well if you prefer that. The property is in a quiet but central location with numerous beautiful towns to visit nearby (e.g. Domme and Sarlat) and lots of activities to enjoy. We had a great 2 week holiday here!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Maison Brassens. This house is very well equipped and very pleasant to live in both inside and outside. Our host David was very friendly and very responsive. We highly recommend this resort.

The house is magnificent and very well equipped, for the kitchen or for activities, everything is planned for a good stay. The welcome is warm with very friendly neighbors. I highly recommend the Château des Grillauds for a peaceful stay in the Dordogne. We had a pleasant stay and the house is very well equipped. There is everything you need to have a great vacation with family or friends. We were able to have lunch outside to enjoy the garden and the swimming pool. We absolutely loved Maison de la Calade. A beautiful villa in a gorgeous location with stunning views. Five stars from us. Beautifully decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean (We met the cleaning girls upon arrival who were lovely and welcoming and very helpful) very well stocked in terms of everything you need. We had a mixture of ages and there was something for everyone, room to socialise if we wanted to but plenty of nooks to escape to. The gorgeous sized pool In the lovely garden grounds was a huge hit in the August heat. Biot although up a hill is only a stones throw away and has lots of great restaurants - we'd love to come back one day.
Thank you for an amazing stay in this wonderful house, the view, kitchen facilities and the entertainment available were all perfect. We enjoyed the bbq every night in the garden and early morning swims. The house was equipped with everything we needed we cooked with herbs from the garden and improved our pool playing. The wine tasting next door was very special, we liked the decor in every room and would recommend this house to stay in, its a lovely place. We had an incredible holiday.
