We have just finished a two-week family trip. The house was simply great! Excellent facilities and the air conditioning in the rooms is a real life saver. The property is eccentric! And there are so many small terraces and places outside where we found that we never sat. The location is great for day trips and we enjoyed swimming in the pool after a busy day. We were a group of several generations and everyone loved it! The neighbourhood is great and within walking distance. Local bakery, local fruit and vegetable stand as well as access to supermarkets. Thank you for your unforgettable stay!
It was a real privilege to stay at Château Monjardin - it's a fantastic property full of character and it really felt like a home to us. The guardian is great and made us feel very welcome.
We just wanted to say thank you for a great week in your beautiful house. It is a magical place and we have fond memories already. Thanks for arranging for Suzanne to cook for us. We dined at the apartment in the evening as we didn't want to leave! We have just returned from a few days at the luxury pool apartment. The heated pool with the view is amazing. The house is well equipped and we dined at the apartment in the evening as we didn't want to leave. The host lives upstairs and was very helpful, collecting us from the bottom of the hill with shopping bags! We used Uber taxis to travel into Nice and to the airport which worked well.
Absolutely stunning property, wonderful swimming pool. Enchanting surroundings. We have has an absolutely delightful stay and have enjoyed every moment of this relaxing holiday.
Fantastic stay - group of 10 adults and 10 children. Great set up to keep both groups well entertained and some additional surprises like a play area next to one of the outside eating areas. Sports hall and pool both huge, the later keeping us cool in the hot afternoons. The owners also helped us arrange a local cook to cater on some evenings and also a local wine producer to do a wine tasting.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our week here in Vouvant. Piglet Barn is an excellent mix of loveliness with all your touches and thoughtfulness to make a stay so welcoming and enjoyable. On top of this, we have had the delight of wine, peaches, home-made almond cake and two evening apéros in your wonderful company.
Perfect for large families Amazing property, well equipped for large groups and space for all to spend time together or escape each other! Great pool and pool area. Great having so many bedrooms and bathrooms when holidaying with extended family and lots of kids! Wonderful manager on hand to answer any questions and offer recommendations. Will definitely return!

Fabulous Villa and location We've been coming to the south of France for year and specifically to this area and to Seillans for the last 5 years... and this villa is as good as we have ever stayed. The villa is impeccably kept, extremely comfortable and has the most magnificent views. Everything in the villa is as advertised and works well. The restaurants of Seillans are a short walk away. Although the town itself unfortunately has no boulangerie or patisserie, Fayence is only a 5 minute drive away and has a great one of those, plus a boucherie / charcuterie around the corner, both of which are close to the big Super U supermarket. The terrace and pool are East-facing. We were worried that in the photos it looked like there was little shade provided but with the big awnings for the terrace and a few parasols for the pool, finding shade from the morning sun was not a problem. We love this area for the beautiful mountain villages (seillans, Callian, Tourrettes etc) but the ease of getting around in the largely flat area south of those villages so you can get to Cannes, Grasse and the beaches. A wonderful villa in a stunning location, plenty of sightseeing within driving distance. A fantastic holiday for a 3 month old boy and all the family.
We had an amazing two weeks in the sun, we spent some days by the pool. You can swim and look at the stunning view of the hills in the distance. The apartment is spotless and has everything we needed at the start of our holiday. The owners can speak English which is helpful if you needed anything which we didn't. We would love to go back again.

Where do I start?! Truly one of the most amazing places we’ve ever stayed. The property sits in a stunning location with beautiful mountain views yet is just a short drive from Limoux which offers everything you might need. It’s also a very easy and short drive to Carcassonne with all of its shops and attractions (and international airport). Close to beautiful Mediterranean coastline, the rugged Montagne Noir and the wonderful Pyrenees, there are too many amazing sights to list (or to see in one holiday)... if you can drag yourself away from Domaine de Nérige that is. The property itself is far beyond adequate description in words or photographs. It is utterly magical. Every aspect of the house itself and the experience it offers has been carefully and lovingly thought through by the hosts and the result is exceptional. It’s certainly not easy to achieve both elegance and comfort but they have, masterfully. As well as being entirely beautiful, the accommodation is impressively spacious- we stayed as two families over five of the bedrooms, but had we filled all bedrooms it would have felt no less spacious because of its clever and generous arrangement. It’s perfectly appointed, with an incredible kitchen with every gadget and utensil you could possibly want, an outdoor dining area with gas bbq and hot plate, luxurious towels and linen (including towels for the pool), music player, DVDs, outdoor games (table tennis, swing ball, table football, pétanque), pool table room and then there’s the swimming pool! An immaculately kept pool terrace with sun loungers, wooden pergola and even an outdoor shower. The swimming pool was fabulous for adults and children alike, being large enough for swimming lengths but also with a shallow end for the children. Kept as meticulously as the rest of the property, the pool is cleaned every morning. The hosts could not have been more helpful and welcoming from beginning to end. Due to travel disruptions we had to change the dates of our stay several times and the hosts were so accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Before we arrived Sandie had even arranged to do a grocery shop for us! She was also kind enough to arrange for a therapist to come to the house during our stay so we could have a much needed massage! I think it’s indicative of just how special this place is that everyone in our party fell entirely in love with it, children and adults alike. We can’t wait to go back.
My extended family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The house itself is a magnificent old stone building, which has been decorated in a very elegant manner. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and we very much appreciated the coffee machine. Younger family members enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. Being an old house, it does have some quirks, but these are very much outweighed by the charm and grandeur of the rooms and outdoor areas. The location is scenic and peaceful - but within reasonable driving distance of area attractions such as Lascaux and villages along the Dordogne. The local village is lovely, with a handy small supermarket, great boulangerie and several restaurants. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Excellent stay in Kim's accommodation. The view is splendid from the terrace as well as the swimming pool. Many thanks again for reserving the evening at La Maison Tolzac for us.
We had a wonderful week staying at Maison des Communes. We were made to feel very welcome and our hosts couldn't do enough to help us. Frederica even drove me to the supermarket when we arrived because our car wasn't ready until the following day. The villa is beautiful, very clean and exceptionally well equipped. The garden bedrooms are fabulous with good air conditioning and the hot water was plentiful. Maureilhan itself does not have a lot to offer but we found ourselves very happy in the villa. There is a lot of outdoor and indoor space to relax and we used the pool for several hours each day. We also made good use of the bikes, cycling to neighbouring villages, vineyards and the canal. Maison des Communes was a wonderful family villa and we would most definitely visit again if we return to the area. I would highly recommend it.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely house. We were lucky enough to see the (almost) full moon rising from the perfect spot in the garden on our first night. We loved the house and pool and most of all the beautiful views. To be in a village and yet so quiet is unique. We very much hope to come back.

Superb property with all the comforts. We spent a week in July 2023 with family and loved the beauty of this area. The infinity pool, the jacuzzi and the ping-pong table delighted the children. We spent two superb weeks in your beautiful home. it is quiet and clean and it has all the necessary equipment. The large garden is lovely with plenty of shade. We loved also the table tennis. But we liked the pool most of all, in the hot weather.
