We had a fabulous week in the Loire and Château Monjardin was a stunning base from which to explore.
We had a lovely stay under the mulberries this summer. The house is well located near the river Aude where we had a lovely day kayaking and a short cycle ride from several lovely villages and markets. Thank you for a lovely stay. Highly recommended.
Lovely authentic French house set in beautiful grounds and perfectly located to access local amenities. Very well equipped, making it a home from home.
Visiting Le Mas Pouget was like releasing a long exhalation of breath and with it, the stresses of day-to-day life. The house, as mentioned in the other review here, is indescribable. It is an oasis of cool and calm, in a basin of trees and regional wildlife, which soothes the soul. It is a stunning part of the planet and felt like a special, secret place that remains unspoiled. The accommodation is fantastic. Quirky and comfortable, with many social spaces to enjoy your party's company as well as quiet places to escape to when you need time alone. We were seven adults and two children (aged 2 and 7) and all got along famously over the course of our 10 days, thanks to the space provided. Frederic, Virginie and Laure literally could not have been more helpful. We had all manner of questions and they were incredibly receptive and responsive, helping us with any queries and genuinely friendly with it. We think everybody needs this place/space in their lives ;-) Thank you for a wonderful and very memorable holiday.
Love love love this beautiful village house, its exquisite interiors and wild back garden, pool and cow fields beyond in a simple hamlet, deep in unspoilt pastoral countryside.
Excellent stay! Our host Nathalie was very responsive by message and accommodating. The house was clean and perfectly matched the description. We would have stayed there longer!
Please accept our thanks and appreciation for this wonderful home in Homps. It was perfect in everyway. Location, space inside the home, outside space and pool. The kitchen had everything including spices and cleaning supplies. Pool towels were supplied and appliances all worked well. Five stars according to the family. They would love to return!!
Lovely spacious house. We loved staying here! The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was big and comfortable :-) The location was really good to. We enjoyed going down to the riverside cafe, kayaking on the river, cycling, sightseeing, eating! We would definitely come back.
We stayed in this beautiful house with a pool with my family. Everything was perfect: the house is spacious, bright, impeccably clean, and well equipped. The pool is a true haven of peace, ideal for relaxing in the sun. The hosts were very warm and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this house!

Such a beautiful house! Had a lovely relaxing holiday. Visited Sarlat, Bergerac and Périgueux - would recommend Sunday morning market in Aubeterre. Will miss waking up to the sound of the countryside.
Wonderful stay in a beautiful home. The house was very comfortable and the swimming pool was great. We spent some time in the nearby towns / villages. Pézenas, Vias, Béziers and Cap d'Agde. The Sunday morning market in Besson is a must. The area is great for cycling with all of the nearby villages easily accessible. Very sad to be leaving. Thank you very much.
What a gorgeous place! You have made a beautiful job of the Loft du Vigneron. It is homely, classy and welcoming, and you have thought of everything! We felt thoroughly pampered and loved every minute of our stay. The Loft will remain as my screensaver for quite some time to come… Can't wait to see the pics of the house. We came to stay for a wedding nearby and were a group of 6 adults and our 18 month old twins. It was absolutely perfect for us! There’s so much for littles ones, loads of toys inside and a trampoline, swing set, huge garden and of course the pool outside! All very safe as well. Isabelle was excellent at answering all our questions and arranged for travel cots and high chairs for our little ones. She also helped us find local amenities etc. and provided a fantastic info pack with lots to do in the local area. We visited a lovely local lake with a beach, Saint-Émilion and a local vineyard/restaurant all around 15 minutes drive away. The bakery she recommended 5 minutes down the road was also delightful! Can't recommend this enough if you’re looking for a beautiful château in the countryside.
We are now travelling to the Loire after spending a lovely week at Les Faures. After an initial couple of cloudy days, the weather turned out to be beautiful. We very much enjoyed exploring the area. We went canoeing at Pessac and went to the beautiful Château de Carbonneau. We also really enjoyed Le Gensake. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely house.
Thank you for a lovely week in Piglet. We were so pleased when Piglet was available for one of our weeks in France this summer. It was great coming here for a second time - felt like coming home. Thanks for your fabulous hospitality. Having toured around when we were here last year, we planned to be pretty local this week. Luckily the weather aligned meaning we could have warm, lazy days by the pool reading, playing games and family time. We loved revisiting the local bars and restaurant and loved our evening at the creperie. Thank you for the wine and cake.
My family and I had a wonderful stay In Sabatel Farmhouse. The hamlet is very peaceful and set back into the landscape. The house has the most beautiful garden, with a great sized pool and lounging area. We enjoyed cooking in the very well equipped kitchen and ate on the lovely sunny terrace overlooking the garden. There is a big blind to help when it gets really warm and sunny. The local markets and villages are a great way to spend the day exploring. We had the most amazing time. Can't wait to visit again!
A really fabulous time had by all 9 in our 'gang', you have left no stone unturned here in this great house. Location is perfect, Revel is a smashing town with everything you need whilst still retaining the feel of a rural French setting. A holiday none of us will forget. This holiday has been great! I have really enjoyed playing in the pool and running round the huge garden for exercise. Written by a teenager pretending they are 48!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. We had an amazing stay at your wonderful house. The setting was wonderful and we had a truly relaxing time. The scenery was a joy. We also liked the beautiful village / hamlet with such a wonderful church. We met many French people who were exceptionally friendly. We cooked with all the fresh produce from the markets and ate outside surrounded by hay bales! Thank you for such an amazing week.
