Had a wonderful 2 weeks at the Maison Baleyssagues in Lot-et-Garonne. Great days out in Bordeaux and the countryside. Weather great for the most part. Really enjoyed the super pool - which has been the best so far. Thanks so much to Frederic for being such an entertaining host. See you gain soon.
We have spend a wonderful holiday at the villa. The villa is ideal, spacious and nicely decorated. The children loved the pool and the table tennis table! It is an ideal base to visit the region. The market in Pézenas should not be missed. We have driven a boat, ridden horses and hired bikes in Marseillan and seen flamingoes! Dream holiday. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. This property is an oasis of calm, exquisitely redeveloped and fitted out without losing the charm and character of the original distillery. Equipment, facilities, decor and soft furnishings are of the highest standard. The hosts are more akin to a concierge service, generous and make significant effort to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

An amazing week of relaxation. Spent a fantastic week at Château Velouse. Located in a tiny village the château is just a short drive from lots of interesting locations in the Loire valley. Château Velouse has everything you need for a relaxing week - beautiful bedrooms, lovely outdoor pool, barbeque and al fresco dining area and lovely dining room and lounge. We chose to self-catering but there are options to hire in a chef to prepare meals for your group. There was also lots of information in the château guide about other tailored services that were available such as wine tours. Claire and Phil made sure that everything was perfect for our stay and recommended places to visit.
A magnificent place for the family with everything to share great moments and enjoy privacy... The property has many different areas which will satisfy everybody. Guaranteed serenity in the heart of the Basque countryside.
Very nice accommodation. Host is very friendly. Maison Joigneaux is a perfect place to stay when visiting the region. We couldn't have wished for a better place to spend our extended weekend with friends.
Very beautiful house in Périgord. The house is sublime. A perfect blend of rustic, tradition and modern comfort. Wonderfully restored. And 5 bathrooms for 5 bedrooms is rare. Huge fireplace, perfect for a week at Christmas. Very well equipped. And Florence greeted us with kindness and is very responsive to questions and requests.

We have had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We appreciate how clean it was when we arrived (thanks Yvonne) and the wine. We love the decor and period furnishings. The pool and small barn were great. It was interesting to hear about the history and previous occupants of the house from Bob and Margaret, the English neighbours across the road. Thanks. Back home, I simply wanted to thank you very much for the exceptional welcome you gave us during our long weekend in Maureilhan. As we told you this morning, we had a great time at Maison des Communes – and we greatly appreciated your extraordinary generosity. With meals at the restaurant, cheese platter, wine and pastries, it was close to incredible. Certainly, we have never before benefited from such generosity when renting in France, in the UK or elsewhere. And as you well know, your home is just as remarkable, with a mix of styles and moods that make it as interesting as it is luxurious and welcoming. We really didn't want to leave this morning... So a big thank you once again and hopefully see you soon.
We loved our stay at this lovely Domaine, Today is our last day, and we’re leaving in pain. We really had the nicest time, Especially our cozy get-togethers with lots of good wine. The days have flown by, but there’s no need to cry, We will always remember Karen’s wonderful pie.
Such bliss, stunning retreat with luxury home comforts We have stayed 2 years in a row and have loved every minute. Relaxing, peaceful, comfortable luxury accommodation with everything a family or group could wish for. Manoir de Saux is very well appointed, with luxurious beds and lovely en suites. The heated pool is generous, as are the grounds and reception areas. Set in tranquil countryside yet within a short drive of picturesque historic towns.
What a gorgeous week we've had here ! Annie and John have been so welcoming - inviting us for a much-needed glass of wine on our arrival. Not to mention all the helpgul local knowledge and information. We have loved the pool, sunshine and glorious garden. We would recommend the lovely Piglet Barn and Annie and John especially. We have had a brilliant stay - The villa is fantastic- kids have spent house in the pool and learning to play pool. Everyone has enjoyed it so much it feels a real wrench to leave. Hope we can visit again some time.

I have stayed here with friends on several occasions and the tranquility and serenity is something to treasure. Maison Bourriette and gardens are furnished to the highest standard with a special courtyard enclosed in the original barn walls. The pool and surroundings cater for the most ardent sunbather or swimmer. The welcome you receive is personal and nothing is too much trouble, thus ensuring your best possible stay. From the house you are near to many interesting attractions dotted around the rolling countryside but if you don't want to leave the sanctuary of the house, then there are numerous delightful walks on the doorstep taking you through woods to small settlements or even into Montaigu for quality food and drink. I cannot wait to go back again!
Just returned from an outstanding holiday at the Orchard Farmhouse! The pool and grounds were just fantastic - it did help with three days at 30+ degrees! I wanted to say a big thank you again to Pure France for a brilliant week in a great value property. My family and I had a glorious 2 weeks at Maison Charvin. What a fantastic holiday we had. The directions to find the house were straightforward and easy to follow. The house was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need which was a very welcome relief after the long drive. As a keen cook, my partner enjoyed cooking up delicious meals for us throughout our time there. My children absolutely fell in love with the house (they each enjoyed having their own rooms!) and with the pool and didn't want to leave! Highlights from our holiday include: Walking around the beautiful walled city of Carcassonne Climbing up to the ruins of Château de Queribus, one of the Cathar Castles, set on top of one of the highest peaks in the Pyrenees. Breath-taking views and well worth the effort! A once in a lifetime meal at l'Auberge du Vieux Puits, a 3 Michelin star restaurant in Fontjoncouse. Only a 30 minute drive from Mason Charvin. La Franqui – what a fabulous beach. Lovely sea front restaurants and shops. Definitely worth a visit! The pool! The wine! And last but by no means least, Sharon. A fantastic host who continually went the extra mile to make sure we were enjoying our holiday. I cannot rate her highly enough and hope to one day return to Montlaur and Maison Charvin! Thank you, Sharon for sharing your beautiful home and for all that you did for us.

Mostly enjoying the weather and pool! We have seen the red squirrel, lizards, water vole and many birds. It's so peaceful and beautiful, we will miss it.

Exceptional house in an exceptional setting! The house is ideally located, away from the tourist crowds with magnificent hikes nearby but close enough to Apt for basic needs. The house is as pleasant indoors in bad weather as it is outdoors the rest of the time. The kitchen is very well equipped. The host was available before the stay to advise us on all logistical aspects. An on-site contact was also made during the stay.
