The bed gave us the best sleep ever. We just wanted to write and thank you both properly for sharing your beautiful home in Saint Paul de Vence. Our week was magical and the Pool Apartment was perfect to relax and unwind. The bed gave us the best sleep ever (we've even decided to buy one!). I know A will be in touch to book next year, but we wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying.
This was a great find for our annual French holiday. Your lovely house was perfect for the whole family, it was hard to get the kids out of the pool at the end of the day. Monflanquin is a great town, a real discovery with lots of great restaurants.
Unfortunately we forgot to sign the guest book in our hurry with the kids but we just wanted to reconfirm to you that we had a great time in your place and hopefully we will return to complete our task!
Charming house in the most picturesque hill top village that has been lovingly restored with air con and a pool to help you cool off in the heat. The surrounding area has lots to offer and you can find great food either in the village or in Uzes not too far away.
Mas du Château was simply perfect. It was spotless, comfortable, peaceful and he was a wonderful host; nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and didn’t want to leave.

Your phenomenal standards of taste, quality and style are equally matched by your meticulous understanding of your holiday guests' practical needs during their stay. We have experienced self-catering holidays in many areas of France for some four decades and, without doubt, you are in a premier league of your own! The warmth of your welcome and hospitality have all combined to create for us a truly wonderful holiday and Minervois experience. Fabulously 'well done' to both of you - and 'thank you!' We have just enjoyed one of our best holidays ever and your outstanding charm and conviviality have contributed so much. What a stunning location. We have had a wonderful week and extremely sad to be leaving this idyllic spot. The house is incredibly well appointed and kitted out with everything we could possibly have needed. We spent the week relaxing and fitting in the odd wine tasting, horse ridding lessons for our two girls and visiting the brilliant goat farm! Thank you so much for the incredible stay!
This is a total joy of a house. The photographs make it look beautiful - it is even better in real life. The pool is quite incredible - like being in a boutique hotel all of your own. A true hidden gem.
We swam in the pool every day - temperature 29°c - in January! We did indeed enjoy the 12 days with you, the house and the surroundings. Very invigorating for both of us and very enjoyable to meet you both.

So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. Idyllic, total relaxation It was our first time visiting Charente and we absolutely loved La Charmante Distillerie. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. The pool area and terraces had amazing views and so tranquil. The interior was beautifully furnished and we liked the nod to the old distillery and its history. There were plenty of activities for the family and we really enjoyed star gazing with the telescope provided. Mark kept the grounds and pool immaculate. We appreciated access to the herb garden and fruit trees. I would also mention the excellent internet coverage which meant that our teenagers were happy in the den in the loft, and the younger kids loved playing in the sandpit and on the climbing frame. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Villa comfortable and well equipped - teenagers enjoyed all the facilities including lovely pool.
Lovely villa, boys enjoyed the pool and the garden! Had great trips to Montpellier and Carcassonne. Visit Pézenas on a Wednesday evening and visit all of the artisans stores! For beaches the long stretch between Sète and Agde is very quiet.
If you like the charm of the old, you will be won over. We particularly appreciated the layout of the house and the exterior. The fact that the swimming pool is in the low garden creates both security but also that the house remains very calm when there is commotion at the swimming pool! We played the most memorable games of ping pong in the shade of the majestic cypress trees and the children spent hours illuminating the castle, the immediate proximity of which is magical.
A beautiful home in a beautiful village, so much hospitality and the house had everything we needed. We did not want to leave! :) La Table de Jean is a much recommended restaurant, fantastic food and people. Lovely stay.
We adored our stay at this charming renovated farmhouse, with views to keep in our memory forever. This house truly suited our family with our two sons, partners and grandchildren. The kitchen was excellent and overall the house had every facility we would look for, the pool and table tennis rooms were regularly in the daily family tournaments, that took place. Sitting outside at the covered dining table for breakfast and evening meals was a great pleasure daily. The swimming pool has sun for the majority of the day so keeps a good temperature for swimming and the steps enabled our grandson to build his water confidence. The Thursday market in Nyons is excellent and Vaison le romaine is full of history. Les Marquises is one of our favourite holiday experiences, great location and great house.

Very beautiful house in Périgord. The house is sublime. A perfect blend of rustic, tradition and modern comfort. Wonderfully restored. And 5 bathrooms for 5 bedrooms is rare. Huge fireplace, perfect for a week at Christmas. Very well equipped. And Florence greeted us with kindness and is very responsive to questions and requests.
This flat was wonderful. Location is great, 5 minute drive from Beaulieu, 10 minute walk to train station. Coffee and snacks right at the edge of the property and a few restaurants within walking distance. Very quiet area. Right on the water. This flat had absolutely everything we could want to enjoy our stay. Kitchen is a nice size and has all amenities. The two bedrooms were great. Dining area and living room were spacious and comfortable and the balcony was large and nicely furnished. Washer and dryer were convenient to have. Communication with Ben and the owner was easy. The place also came with beach chairs. The only clarification I’d make is that the bathroom is one toilet, one shower and one sink.
Château Chante L'Oiseau is the epitome of rustic French countryside living. It is an absolutely charming property with well appointed and comfortable rooms for restful sleep and mutiple reception rooms for relaxing and entertaining in. Its extensive grounds offer a plethora of activities to enterain both young and old. This is our favourite spot for a sojourn with friends and family.
We had a great time here for 2 weeks with the family. The house is well equipped and the family really enjoyed the pool. Thank you for a relaxing holiday.
Wonderful family holiday, beautiful house and grounds and so much entertain for our 2 years old daughter. The highlight of our two weeks included a wine tour, visiting local markets, eating out and relaxing by the pool. We look forward to our return one day.
We had the most wonderful ‘family and friends ‘gathering at La Petite Maison Générille. The hosts were most wonderful and nothing was too much trouble . They told us of markets, restaurants, gardens and vineyards… all were wonderful. The houses are spacious and well equipped the grounds and gardens perfect and the salt water pool... bliss. We had children and tiny grandchildren with us and it was the perfect base to explore the wonderful villages such as Sarlat with its night market and Domme . We went canoeing and swam in the river, visited nearby châteaux and ended our week at a wonderful Bricante taking a few French antiques home… Altogether a fabulous week I only wish we had stayed longer ! We look forward to returning to this very special place with wonderful hosts who were so kind and helpful.

We have all had an absolutely beautiful week here at Le Chanlie. A truly special house in a magical setting. We will be back ! The pool area was such fun for us all and the bedrooms so relaxing.
