We've had a blissful week here. The house is beautifully and very stylishly renovated and is extremely comfortable and easy to live in. The surrounding environment is stunning. We've loved picking fresh figs straight from the tree breakfast and getting to know the local wines.
Everything was amazing! The location, the view, the house.! We enjoyed our stay. We wish to come back again! Thank you.
Had a wonderful week with friends in the magnificent Château Velouse. A lovely place to relax (by the heated swimming pool, in the sumptuous rooms and the very well appointed kitchen - not to mention strolling round the extensive grounds!). Hosts Phil and Claire could not have been more welcoming and have provided copious notes about things to do and places to see. Such was the relaxed atmosphere (and the heat!) we hardly felt the need to leave the château. Our suite was so grand, that it was even hard to leave the bedroom!
We enjoyed the house, pool and garden. We took a private boar charter on the canal. We visited restaurants and enjoyed using the 'running track' around the garden.
We have just returned from a wonderful break at 'Maison Lemance'. We were a multi generational group of 8 and the house worked perfectly for us with various inside and outside places to sit. It's a beautifully well-cared for house in a tranquil location and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was sparkling clean and had plenty of loungers for relaxation time. The owner Sam was extremely welcoming and available for any queries. Our only regret was to not have the chance to try one of her yoga classes.
Villa du Château is simply exceptional. This beautifully restored listed historic home has been renovated with great care and offers an outstanding level of comfort and amenities. A special mention goes to the pool area and outdoor summer kitchen, which are wonderfully designed and make it easy to spend the entire day outdoors—from breakfast and lunch to afternoon snacks and dinner—without ever needing to return to the main house. The property enjoys a truly ideal location, just a two-minute walk from both the Château de Duras and the heart of the village, where you’ll find all the local shops and amenities, while still enjoying complete peace and quiet. Claire’s recommendations, both before and during our stay, allowed us to make the most of both the house and the surrounding region.
This villa was the perfect place for a two family holiday. The pool was very cool and refreshing after a hot day of sight-seeing / shopping! The whole two week trip was plenty relaxing and a lot of fun! This house is gorgeous. We will not forget this trip! P.S. a great pizza place down the road!

Thank you for a fabulous two weeks at the Loft! The house is lovely and has been fitted out with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was a dream to cook in and the bathrooms were like staying in a 5 star hotel! However, our stay was made truly complete by your wonderful warm hospitality. It would not have been the same without your superb hosting skills! Lastly, thank you for letting the girls play with Mack and Mabel - it was definitely a high on the list of things they are going to miss after leaving the Loft. You've even cured their fear of dogs! Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable holiday at Mas Saint-Martial! We are a family of four with teenagers (plus a dog) and we spent 2 fabulous weeks at the house. The pool was a stand-out highlight – heated, salt water and fully gated for safety – fantastic family times and memories created playing games. The boules pitch, badminton court and BBQ were also great ways to entertain ourselves. The owners live part of the year in the house next door and are extremely responsive, supportive and welcoming whilst also giving you enough ‘space’ to enjoy the seclusion and peace. In terms of restaurants, there are plenty of very reasonably priced places within easy driving distance – there are plenty of great places to visit too – Aubeterre (with a 9 hole golf range) and Brantôme were highlights for us. We even walked to the local 5 course lunch place at Chez Moran which was amazing and cheap! Their occasional night time events with music and the fish and chip van are great fun. A real gem of a place. Thank you!
We have had a great quiet stay in your house! We went one day to Carcassonne by car and visit the beautiful area. The pool is great, we will miss it!
What a memorable time we had with friends along with my 5 years old daughter at the château. The owners are friendly and extremely generous, beautiful adorable dogs, my daughter is fond of them. The castle is rustic French style property with large windows directly opens to garden space and pool, the property is huge enough for every day walk, lush greens, canals, peaceful at the same time. The furniture and tapestry are well selected and stored beautifully. It’s a combination of modern comfort meets rustic luxury one could dream of. 5 - 10 minutes drive to local markets, boulangerie for delicious French breads. Amazing Safari zoo, my daughter and we had a great time. Great seas face restaurants are close by and a must visit. A perfect gateway to celebrate with your family, friends and loved ones.

Like the previous years, the two weeks at the villa have been wonderful! The house is wonderful, the pool and the closeness to the sea are great. We will certainly be back again.

Wonderful! We just loved our week at this fabulous home. We are a Canadian family of 8. 5 adults and 3 kids ( ages 13, 10 and 9). After eight days in Paris, this was the perfect place to chill. The setting is fabulous. We had a spectacular view of Grasse and the surroundings and we enjoyed many glorious sunsets. The patio area really was the winner. Spacious with lots of room for everyone. The house was very well equipped and the owners were very responsive to any little concerns or questions we had. Great pool. Kind hosts. Highly recommended.

It’s like staying with friends, with all the positives and none of the negatives! One of the things I think we will remember most about our trip are Karen and Russell. They gave our family the warmest of welcomes and ensured our stay was both comfortable and with a touch of luxury. Having never ventured to this part of France, it was fantastic to have the helpful suggestions for wineries not to be missed, activities for the kids, and the best places to eat. On the other side of the coin, we had our much-needed R&R. The oasis of peace and tranquility of the Loft, the gorgeous terrace for evening aperitifs, and alfresco dining, the extensive and beautiful gardens, and the sparkling azure gem of a pool! Thank you both for making our holiday so special. That cake : WOW! WOW! WOW! Despite all the fab patisserie, the kids still go on about that cake, Karen! Recipe, please!
We just wanted to say how impressed we were with the house we rented through Pure France. We have rented a lot of houses both in the UK and overseas and I think this was definitely one of the very best. It was so well equipped - not just in terms of entertainment but all the items in the house (especially in the kitchen) and home comforts and the swimming pool was perfect. We are so glad we found it and we had an excellent week.

What a fabulous hideaway in Burgundy. We really loved Chateau Bourgogne - A Castle hidden away in a medieval village in one of the designated Beautiful Villages of France. This whole area is packed with stunning villages, quiet roads, world heritage listed historical sites, vineyards, restaurants and artisans presenting their handiwork to the locals and tourists alike. We had such a wonderful time exploring this area whilst based in this beautiful castle. This castle is fantastic, with a great blend of medieval rustic charm and modern comfortable rooms with all the trimmings we expect as modern-day tourists. Clean modern ensuites and bathrooms, comfortable beds, beautiful linen, fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, TV room, library, pool, outdoor area and privacy. All the rooms are huge, clean, comfortable and cosy. The thick stone walls provide a quiet and well insulated environment. This castle has all the fun and fantasy that we imagined, afternoon tea with local cheese and biscuits on the turret with a view of the surrounding town and farming fields, a library in another turret, our ensuite in another turret. Sipping local wines and basking in the mild French sun by the pool. Fresh baguettes, cheese, fruit, and other meals prepared in the kitchen. With 10 bedrooms you can bring your friends and family and have a fantastic getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed this castle and will make it our new home when next we visit Burgundy. Thank you for making this a highlight of our 2016 Europe holiday.

We are off on an amazing two weeks in Le Malardier, a house full of character and so spacious. Thank you Gay and Richard. Our American friends explored the area but we Brits who do not see the sun as much as them were more than happy to lounge around the pool. There was everything you could want in the house and the children were delighted with the toys in the attic! This is a beautiful part of France, the views are spectacular. We found some great restaurants and enjoyed the local culture. Au Revoir.
What a wonderful week! The villa is full of elegant and eclectic touches and the outside areas are divine. The pool is just perfect and the shade was needed this week when it was very hot (but not as hot as back home - thank goodness!) Beziers is lovely and there are plenty of places to visit near by. Philippe - you were a wonderful host providing recommendations when asked and keeping the pool sparkling clean. The treats you delivered were fabulous as was the trip you organised to Saint Chinian. Maison Celte is a beautiful villa with the most spectacular views from virtually every window. The house offers flexible accommodation for extended family, and the pool area makes it hard to leave to explore the surrounding villages. We loved our week here!
Thanks for the welcome pack of wine, water and coffee. The house is excellently located to explore the old town of Pézenas. Check out the Saturday market, it's incredible. The house and pool are great, comfortable and well laid out.
