We have settled in very well thank you into your lovely home. Everything has been super and I don't think we could have asked for more. You certainly have made a wonderful place to stay.
What a memorable time we had with friends along with my 5 years old daughter at the château. The owners are friendly and extremely generous, beautiful adorable dogs, my daughter is fond of them. The castle is rustic French style property with large windows directly opens to garden space and pool, the property is huge enough for every day walk, lush greens, canals, peaceful at the same time. The furniture and tapestry are well selected and stored beautifully. It’s a combination of modern comfort meets rustic luxury one could dream of. 5 - 10 minutes drive to local markets, boulangerie for delicious French breads. Amazing Safari zoo, my daughter and we had a great time. Great seas face restaurants are close by and a must visit. A perfect gateway to celebrate with your family, friends and loved ones.
I had very high expectations for this accommodation, based on the photos and descriptions. But the castle was even more incredible than we dared to imagine. We were four families, 15 in total, on a graduation trip across Europe. It's the only place we could all be together and our days there were the highlight of our trip. This place is PERFECT for large gatherings. So much room, so many places where we could all be together. Amazing food. The pool was awesome. I can't say enough how perfect it was for our group.
It is difficult to put into words how special our stay has been. Everything about the Loft is first class and we are going to miss it dearly. On top of that, all your little touches have been incredibly helpful and generous. Above all though, you have been the most warm, considerate and welcoming hosts - you really could not have done anything else to help us. Having travelled extensively we definitely rate you as the best! Of course, we have loved exploring the area, including a wonderful trip to the Pyrenees, and we are very keen to get to know it better. Finally, the last word goes to Mack and Mabel - they are adorable and we have enjoyed sneaking down for cuddles. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.
Foreign and familiar. Grand and intimate. Giving us frivolity and solitude. Château La Roche-Posay had given us exactly what we needed. The host made our stay all the more enjoyable with the perfect amount of attention. Thank you for helping us to open our eyes to a beautiful part of France!
Thanks for a lovely two weeks here at Piglet. We have absolutely loved staying here. Thanks for such a warm welcome and the extra touches, too ! We've loved getting to know the village and will miss our café noisettes and glass of wine at the café. And the crepes and ice cream are fabulous. Loved exploring the area, especially the Plages des Belugas.
Lovely property, lots of space and well equipped. Play room added bonus. Caroline responded very promptly and efficiently when we discovered a wasp nest!

Duras... I love cooking, the kitchen is wonderful and the city's market place is perfect for organising the perfect dinner.. the perfect kitchen is ready to prepare the table... the outdoor patio... the splendid terrace with a view of the valley or a dip in the swimming pool whilst having a barbecue!
We had a great week at Maison Lemance in August. We were two families with grown up children and partners but there was still plenty of space for everyone. The extensive garden and terrace was ideal for outside dining and chilling out around the pool in the sunshine as well as providing more energetic activities such as table tennis, badminton and boules. With no light pollution, there was some stunning night time star gazing. The house was well equipped to accommodate and cater for our large party. For those who wanted to drag themselves away from the pool, there was plenty to do including bustling night markets and trips to Bergerac and Cahors. Sam was a terrific host and was very helpful and accommodating before and during our stay.
This is a beautiful property and it is well taken care of. We had everything we could possibly think of to enjoy an amazing weekend with family. I imagine this estate as a perfect venue for anything from a group holiday to a wedding. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely house, very well appointed with comfy beds and stunning views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the area is beautiful and the village lovely and quiet.
Just to say that the property was outstanding and we thoroughly recommend it to other families. It was great for young children and having a bathroom with each bedroom was exceptional.
The Loire! What an overwhelming heritage. Châteaux, abbeys, caves - and Michel's house is central to all of it. Bourgueil is a charming town with delicious foods and outstanding wines. Every night we enjoyed the pool. Thank you Michel for an exceptional week.

It's true, the villa and the pool are much more beautiful 'live' than on the pictures. We felt very comfortable in your great villa and it was a great pleasure to meet you. We will definitely come again. And if you get lost in Zurich, you have to come and visit us.
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans votre charmante maison. Le seul bémol a effectivement été la météo qui nous a empêchés de profiter pleinement de vos extérieurs et de la piscine. Nous en garderons cependant un bon souvenir.
We had a lovely week at the farmhouse with lots of swimming and relaxing by the pool. The children (and adults!) have enjoyed the excellent selection of toys and games. Wonderful location for days out nearby and we would recommend the local boulangerie for morning croissants and freshly baked bread. Leaving with lots of happy memories.
You have created a fantastic holiday home which we have enjoyed staying in very much. It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. We have so many great memories of our week. With very best wishes.
We have stayed in many wonderful houses in different parts of the world. Malardier is without doubt the most wonderful. Everything beautiful or useful (William Morris) mostly both. Having restored many houses ourselves we appreciate the enormous work involved. One forgets too easily the half built walls. What makes this house more special than most others is that it is a home. Every object has character and must carry a story. We were amazed at the gardens, how plants bloom in such a warm climate. We will no doubt remember different things, but all have lovely memories.
With grateful thanks for a very relaxing week in your lovely house. We really enjoyed the beautiful views and surrounding countryside; the sunsets were amazing. The weather was very kind to us with soaring temperatures, dips in the pool were most welcome.
We had a fantastic stay at Villa Bellara. Jean-Luc is a great host and explained all we needed to know upon arrival. The villa is spacious and has all the facilities you’ll need. Its location is perfect - no need for a car: boulangerie, supermarket, beach and restaurants all within a short walk, as is the train station which allows quick and cheap access to other resorts along the coast. Would thoroughly recommend this villa.
Marie-Christine's house is ideal for a family, it is decorated with great taste, modern and airy. It has all the amenities and its location is ideal (supermarket, bakeries, shopping center, city center, train station, etc.) Marie is a charming person. She gave us advice and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend his house which is completely renovated. The Plus: A magnificent view of the sunset :-) Thank you again for your availability and your welcome Marie! See you soon
