Thank you Corelle and Stephen for a wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage. We loved the peace and quiet, cycling around the quiet lanes and watching the kingfishers flying in and out of their nests at the lake. We found it all so relaxing and tranquil and would love to return again. Thank you also for the welcome treats and the lovely chats with you both. Colombat Cottage is a very special place.
Wow what an incredible stay in Sommiers, from the huge local Antique and delicious, food markets, to the cycle path which was once a railway and fishing and swimming in the river, the area has everything you could want for both children and adults. That being said the house was the real treat, renovated so tastefully, stunning grounds for the kids to run around and kick balls.The house has a great (and safe) pool. ping pong table, bikes and table football. We had such a great stay. Everything was really clean, bedrooms all large and comfortable as we're the bathrooms. Kitchen (I'm a foodie) is really high end and far better than almost all rental houses we've stayed in as is the bbq. All in all very hard to find fault with the house or the area.
Really beautiful and clean place. We had comfortable beds and the available facilities were great. The contact was nice and fast.
We had a wonderful two weeks at Sechoir Carme. The house is perfectly set up for a group holiday and comes with a well designed open plan ground floor, including a kitchen that has plenty of everything you need. The air conditioning in the bedrooms is a great benefit for hot summer nights. Then there is the outside and the fantastic swimming pool. We spent a lot of time in that. Villeneuve sur Lot is just a few minutes away and is a wonderful town to explore, and there are plenty of other fascinating places within easy reach. Strongly recommended !
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your house. We did have a great time here with our kids. The weather was splendid. We did enjoy the pool, the garden and the whole mansion. We managed to do some sightseeing. We will remember the stay for a long time and we hope to come back here in the future. Thank you one more time for everything.

Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday! We know the Dordogne but have not been back in years. This beautiful house exuded our expectations: beautiful interior, beautiful views and beautiful pool to cool off in after sightseeing. Thank you for the generous provisions. We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight. The listing and reviews stated the house was comfy and well equipped, well I can totally vouch for that. We wanted for nothing. Beds are very comfy, the outdoor area is outstanding. Everything you could want is to hand. One, if not the best pool we've ever used and Martyn keeps it spotless everyday. The owners are on hand if needed or not. The village is excellent, a short walk with a restaurant. Highly recommended and we'll be back.
We recently spent a week at Le Manoir des Sines and I have been trying to settle on the precise word to describe this property and our experience of it. That word is 'sublime'. Utterly sublime! We knew we were in for something special from the photo gallery and description of the property but nothing could prepare us for the magic of being there. Everything from the outdoor kitchen to the magnificent pool terrace to the cinema room to the resident nutri bullet– we had everything we wanted. We loved the white washed stone, the enormous sense of space that never made our group of nine feel lost, the gorgeous, rustic décor, the myriad paintings everywhere. Honestly, I can't imagine anything more sublime than a stay at Le Manoir des Sines.
A really fabulous house which will stay in our memories for years to come. Many thanks for having us.
You have created the best house in Collioure ! We have had the most relaxing holiday and enjoyed every moment. Wonderful views - lovely sea and beaches and excellent restaurants.
The place is amazing, it's perfect for sharing special moments with friends and family.There were 9 of us meeting for the weekend in the beautiful cottage restored by Christophe's hands. Everything was perfect, from communication before the stay, Christophe's welcome and his legendary conviviality! The cottage is very well equipped, the decoration is also very beautiful and the place allows you to party well. We have had the most wonderful time at Maison des Hirondelles. The villa is beautiful and had everything we needed, so clean, comfortable and well thought out. Thank you for making us feel so welcome Cédric. Our daughter Edie, who is 8 months old had a wonderful time in the swimming pool and very much enjoyed her first holiday here in France. We visited Narbonne, Carcassonne, Gruissan, Minerve (fantastic chocolate shop!), Béziers, Canal du Midi with the 9 locks. Thank you for showing us your wine cellar, such a lovely touch. We would love to come back.
We loved staying here. Domaine du Château is full of character and very comfortable. With the giant wine press in the dining room and the vines across the lane, you certainly know you are in Burgundy. We really liked the mix of antique French furniture and original contemporary art works, so nicely done. The kitchen is beautiful and really well equipped and the market in Beaune is amazing for fantastic local produce. Apart from driving through all the famous vineyards and going wine tasting, we really enjoyed visiting the château at Rochepot and the ancient market at Nolay. The countryside is very pretty and great for walking, but best of all, was just sitting drinking wine on the terrace, enjoying the wonderful view and tranquillity. We booked the Eurostar to Le Creusot which made the journey really easy and quick. You can pick 'up a hire car' at the station and then it's just a short drive down quiet country roads which felt a world away from London. Would definitely recommend!
Belle Vue is quite simply a wonderful place for a holiday. The house is stunning, set at the top of a valley, with views of the Dordogne River and medieval châteaux’s in the distance. I understand from the owner that the house was once his family home and this permeates the atmosphere of the place. It is a very relaxing and comfortable place to be. Equipped with everything you would expect in a holiday letting but it goes much further than that. It feels like a home, and a very tastefully furnished one at that. Between the owner, gardener and the housekeeper everything has been thought of and they all go out of their way to make the holiday special. The bedrooms are very comfortable with a luxurious en-suite in the main bedroom. All in all it is just a brilliant place to spend a holiday and in the terms of the Sarlat area we have just been captivated and cannot recommend it highly enough.
We have just returned from the most wonderful holiday in an equally wonderful house La Barde. The owner greeted us warmly and had also baked us a cake which was unexpected but so appreciated. The house is absolutely beautiful and large, spacious, tastefully furnished rooms allowed everyone to gather or find a quiet area. The house is exceptionally well equipped and mirrors and sockets perfectly placed for hairdrying, a very important feature! Fabulous good sized pool with enough loungers for all. We were 8 strong, 2 sets of parents with our 4 grown up children (18-25). We all agreed that this was the best house that we have rented ( and we have been renting lovely houses for many years). The owner was simply delightful and we would see her from time to time cleaning the pool early morning. Ideally situated for nearby towns of Aubeterre and Bourdeilles and some lovely walks directly from the property too. We would not hesitate from returning to La Barde in the future and think it would be ideal for all age groups.
Beautiful renovation with the charm of old stones and the modernity of interior materials. Premium interior equipment. Absolute calm, without proximity to the road. Very comfortable for this property. Christophe available, nice and helpful. It was perfect.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Périgord Castle. The castle is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The park is splendid. The countryside is very beautiful and very soothing. The pool is secured and well equipped. Perfect.

We have had the most delightful holiday! It began with your friendly and welcoming e-mails well before we got here! We have self-catered across Europe in some pretty good places but none quite so lovely as 'The Loft'. The way you prepared it for our arrival, and your warm and generous welcome was simply stunning! We have since enjoyed the quality and comfort of this 'home from home', and your thoughtful attention to all those little details that have made our stay so very special. Our celebration 'bubbly' and delicious cake was a complete surprise and a real treat. We have wondered how it has taken us quite so long to discover the Languedoc, Occitanie! From our all too brief stay we have seen some of the most beautiful countryside, enjoyed the wines and food and visited some of the prettiest towns and villages (many thanks for the suggestion of the Sunday market at Saint-Chinian - what a delight!). We have no doubt that we'll be back and thank you again so much for making us feel so welcome.
Our first time here and we are rather proud of ourselves that we have discovered this gem. Its been unseasonably hot but the pool, house and gardens were up to the task. Wonderful spaces and wonderful Hosts. We hope that it will not be our last visit here, there is so much more to explore.
A lovely base for our 2 weeks! The outside covered area + kitchen were great. We spent most of our stay set there watching the amazing wildlife! We saw deer, lizards, hawks + even got to see the baby birds nesting over the door to the outside loo leave the nest! Monflanquin was beautiful! Cathy + Stéphane were lovely + we loved watching Stéphane's 2 CV car driving around! Thank you.
Our week of vacation spent in your property was a success. The house is spotless, very, very clean and with a lot of attention (welcome products in the bathrooms, recent and clean linen, welcome basket, games). The barn with the ping pong table, darts, table football, billiards and where we could play sports, is wonderful. The long walks around the vines with Tutus delighted me, despite the showers. The Super U in Mirambeau has a very nice butcher's department. The meat is excellent. The fish department, with its oysters, shrimps and fish is also excellent. Tracy goes to great lengths to keep everything spotless when the vacationers arrive. The bouquet of fresh flowers on the table when we arrived was another attention that everyone noted.
The most wonderful time. Our family of 7 adults and a teenager had the most wonderful time at Villa Saumane. The property is set in beautiful grounds with a Provencal garden, a large orchard and big swimming pool. The home itself is exceptional, many large interior and exterior living and dining rooms and a kitchen straight from heaven (Smeg fridge, Lacanche cooker etc etc). The attention to quality with linen, cutlery and music systems makes the villa far superior to most. The villa is in the countryside but just 3 minutes from the nearest boulanger in beautiful Fontaine de Vaucluse, and just a little further to all the restaurants and markets of Provence.
We recommend! We had a great time in Talloires, in this beautiful apartment at the foot of the house with a breathtaking view and that makes rain or gray days spectacular too because the view is always beautiful. The surroundings of the lake are superb, and Annecy is 20 minutes away. Thoughtful and responsive hosts!
What a wonderful week we have had exploring the Loire from your beautiful house! From the very warm welcome as soon as we arrived, it was clear that we had found a special place. The gardens, pool and river have given us all so much pleasure. We have had a truly relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Thank you for all your kindness too.
