Fantastic holiday! The villa is wonderful and we loved the garden and pool - and everyone was so helpful. It's great that Pézenas is within walking distance, there's such a good atmosphere there at night.
We have stayed here three weeks. For the first week our family joined us our three sons and partners. This house is full of beautiful objects and we have loved being in it. We have enjoyed the lovely gifts of pastries and bread brought by Phillip. Thank you for those and also the amazing meal that included a cake for my 70th birthday. We have been to the walled city of Carcassonne - well worth a visit. We have been to the beach and our here has been lovely. We are sad to leave and will miss the bird song. I am afraid the cat was not welcomed by our two Pugs and was chased away. The wine tasting at Saint-Chinian was amazing. We bought bottles of wine with amazing art labels as the cave was decorated with such great art-work. So worth the visit. Thank you for the taster wine and for the introduction.
Thank you for much for another wonderful stay at your beautiful house. Our new home away from home! This time coming back in the summer we got to enjoy time by the pool with breathtaking views, monopoly in the living room, TV nights upstairs and dining under the stars outside. Your home is special to us and we always want to come back and never want to leave! It feels as if time stands still and our holidays feel so long and luxurious every time we are here.
We had a wonderful week. The house is arranged and decorated with care, where it feels good. And what a view, what tranquility... Thank you very much for your warm welcome, everything is perfect here. And what about the heated pool that allowed children to have fun for hours. Thank you very much for everything.
Absolute Heaven. My family, fourteen of us from 70 to 1 year, had a memorable and joyful two weeks at Manoir Alvère. The house and grounds are magical. An easy walk takes you into the village and there are many very good places to eat within an easy drive. The owner made the process of checking in and out easy; the caretaker Georges was onsite in case of any problems. I envy anyone who finds themself in this very special place!
We’ve had such a fabulous week in this beautiful farmhouse. It’s very difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool, tennis court and, for some of us, the gym. The location – we thoroughly enjoyed the markets, Chinon and the woods – as well as the beautiful piano and luxuries of the house, have made this a truly memorable week for us with our grown-up children and their friends. The house is located very quietly, there are sunflower fields all around and no other houses nearby. We really enjoyed the peaceful environment. A great location for a relaxed vacation.
We thought that the Loft was lovely. We've had a great two weeks in beautiful accommodation. We've enjoyed exploring the region but have left plenty to do to give us a reason to come back. I know the girls will miss Mack and Mabel - we'll keep you posted if we succumb to their requests to get one of our own! Thank you both for your company and warm hospitality.
Lovely spacious house. We loved staying here! The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was big and comfortable :-) The location was really good to. We enjoyed going down to the riverside cafe, kayaking on the river, cycling, sightseeing, eating! We would definitely come back.
The house is beautiful - amazing views, wonderful pool, very comfortable beds. We had a fantastic time - didn't see as much of the area as planned - as everyone so happy playing in pool!

What can I say? We have just had the most incredible week. Dale and Lorraine were superb hosts, very welcoming and friendly. The property is situated in a secluded, agricultural yet peaceful location which was just what we were looking for to help us escape the burden of busy lives. The farmhouse and gîte are very modern and tastefully fitted out. You can definitely see that Dale has architectural experience as the modern fittings and conversion is very sympathetically and tastefully done. the pool was a very welcome break as we were there during a heatwave with most days hitting around 35 degrees celsius! Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts an our privacy was always respected. We will definitely be back next year and hope to make of this one of our more regular destinations going forward.
A magnificent week in the charm of this marvellous house and the surrounding area of Les Marquises. Nothing was spared for our comfort and we take with us excellent memories of our visit. Thank-you.
We have just come back from having a fab week. It was beautiful. We had a week of wonderful hot sunshine which prevented us from using the wonderful sitting room and the fire. This would be a great place for the cooler parts of the year as well as the summer. Also the kitchen was probably the best equipped kitchen that we have ever had the pleasure to use on a self catering holiday. The Garden was lovely. All in all a great place.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable family gathering at Le Presbytère. It is a beautiful, atmospheric, ancient house set in large grounds. A great place for peace and rest or equally perfect for a gathering of friends or family. We found it so relaxing to sit around in the garden or at the poolside and there is lots of safe space for the kids to play (table tennis, boules and of course the pool were great successes). The house is amazing - such a sense of history and unusual features like old tiles, fireplaces and a lovely old oak beam running across the upstairs landing. It's very roomy so, even if you are staying with a group, it never feels crowded. The surrounding area has lots of great restaurants and fresh produce from the markets. There is excellent cycling and walking around the network of country roads and footpaths. Also the various bastides (12th century fortified towns) are really fascinating. We loved Bonaguil, Monflanquin and Vilareal but there are so many to choose from and they all have their own character. It's also less than an hour to the Dordogne. We had such a great, relaxing and enjoyable time at Le Presbytère and we hope to return in the future. Thank you so much for an unforgettable holiday.
Stunning - amazing space in and out with many places for children and adults to hide! Great, from well equipped kitchen to playroom. Childproofed but still lots of fun toys for dry and wet days. Great showers and all working brilliantly. Had a fantastic week - Very relaxed and love the set up here. Thank you all.
The most perfect location for a peaceful and restorative family holiday! Children and adults alike kept entertained by the games room, toys, amazing pool ... we so appreciated how well-equipped and thoughtfully designed the house is - it became a running joke of "is there anything this house doesn't have?!"
A beautiful fun filled 7 days in this amazing house. Thank you. Equipped for all 8 of us. Kids swam everyday, favourite game of the week. Dads throwing balls high/low/long and making the biggest splash. Parents enjoying evening games of scrabble over a few too many. Lots of towns and markets visited. I just wanted to say thank you – we had a wonderful time staying a le Mas de Pitou – it was by far the most perfect place we have stayed in France in over 10 years! The location and setting were ideal, we had some lovely walks straight from the door and the special touch of your fantastic welcome basket of fruit and vegetables was gorgeous! We will be back and will certainly recommend to friends. Carole also was great – friendly, informative and helpful.
Your house is lovely and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable week. I think I can safely say that in all the years of hiring holiday accommodation in France we have not stayed in such a well appointed and well equipped property. Wow this house is absolutely amazing. It looks good and it is! Its even better than the pictures show. The house was absolutely immaculate, all of the furnishings were of the very highest quality. Extra bedding, towels etc. Air conditioning in every room. The location is brilliant, really quiet, but so close to the centre of Narbonne. Every thing is just a stroll away. The pool and outside space is absolutely lovely, really restful and again immaculately clean. We would certainly love to be able to come back and stay here again.
We had a busy two weeks and it was so nice to return to a peaceful, clean apartment and lovely garden to relax in. We have booked to return in 2020 and are looking forward to it already. The apartment is fully equipped with all the basics needed for a short break.

We have all enjoyed a wonderful time in this delightful corner of Provence with its magnificent scenery and warm hospitality.
My family and I had a wonderful stay In Sabatel Farmhouse. The hamlet is very peaceful and set back into the landscape. The house has the most beautiful garden, with a great sized pool and lounging area. We enjoyed cooking in the very well equipped kitchen and ate on the lovely sunny terrace overlooking the garden. There is a big blind to help when it gets really warm and sunny. The local markets and villages are a great way to spend the day exploring. We had the most amazing time. Can't wait to visit again!
The chalet: a real jewel in the heart of a magnificent valley, the spacious and sunny terrace with a breathtaking view. Games room, sauna and jacuzzi allowed us to spend very good times with family. Modern amenities make everyday life easier. The "artistic" decoration soothes the mind and opens to daydreaming.
