What a wonderful holiday at this amazing Villa. Firstly, a big thank you to the owners who were amazing and answered all our queries and were very fair minded when checking out. This really is a luxury apartment and everything was as stated. The pool is excellent as well as the hot tub. The are lots of eating areas and plenty of room to sunbath on the decking. I can recommend taking advantage of the visiting chef - he was excellent. The property has aircon which works extremely well. The kitchen is amazing with every mod con you could want and well appointed with kitchen equipment. The welcome book was very useful and covered everything. There are plenty of fridges and freezers and one outside which was very useful. We were 7 adults and three young children and we fitted in very well and never felt cramped. Some of the walks nearby are very good. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough and we will definitely be returning

Had a wonderful time in Lisle-sur-Tarn. The villa was exactly as advertised and it provided a great venue to enable some of our family to reunite for a short period.
We had the most wonderful week at Les Rocans last week. Please would you pass this on to the owners. We have stayed in France annually and many times in between, over the past 45 years and Les Rocans beats them all for outlook, atmosphere, amenities, beauty and suitability for our growing family. We all just loved it!
What a fantastic house. It is so peaceful. The views are amazing and the different light throughout the day makes it all wonderful. We loved the pool and having barbecues in the evening. Thank you.

There are too many favourite moments but the pool is definitely one of them! Brantôme - Kayaking was fab! Aubeterre-sur-Dronne in the evening is a must too!

Very nice place for a stay with friends or family, beautiful interior and exterior spaces, with a magnificent view. In addition, it is possible to take beautiful walks starting from the property. Thank you for a lovely stay at Mas des Rivailles. Our family of five stayed there for two weeks in August 2023 and we had a great time. It is very spacious and modern, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The pool temperature was perfect and we found the salt-water quite pleasant. The sun loungers and pool set up allowed for relaxing moments poolside and we especially appreciate the very large games room with table tennis, billiards and football table as well as numerous toys for our three children. The bedrooms were clean and fitted with quality sheets and soft towels as well as sufficient storage space for our belongings. The laundry room/pantry was also very helpful for storing food and washing our clothes with ease. Frederic was helpful and attentive as always and made our stay very comfortable, bringing over extra fans when we requested as our stay coincided with a heatwave. The proprietor's family who live on the farm next door were very friendly and helpful and responded to any issues we had. The location of the house is also convenient for exploring the region with many interesting towns and activities a short drive away. We would definitely recommend! Thanks again.
Piglet Barn is a wonderful place to stay and Annie and John have been such perfect hosts, and gave us such a warm welcome. Vouvant is a lovely and very friendly village and an easy walk from the Barn. We enjoyed visiting the restaurants and doing the local walks and exploring the area. The weather has been perfect so we loved the superb pool. I'm sure we will be back before too long.
We all feel very privileged to have stayed in such a wonderful house. From the start we felt welcome into someone's home, not a holiday let. truly beautiful and calming place to recharge the batteries and visit a fantastic area. Good food, wine and enjoyed by all.
What a fantastic holiday we have had! Every aspect has been superb. We both agree (and that's unusual!) that this is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail is superb and your warmth and hospitality has been much appreciated. We shall look forward to a return visit.
Fantastic week. It was a real pleasure to go outdoors. We really liked le Graud d'Agde, St Guillem Le Desert and Collioure, the Hacienda in Pézenas and the market nearby, the excellent Violis on the beach. There is everything for a good holiday near the property.

Sylish, well-equipped 'home from home' house in a great location. Narbonne is a delightful town with many good facilities. The pool and outside is a real bonus. We had a very good stay.

This is my second visit to the beautiful ‘Rusty Shears gite’ hosted by Kirstie and Russell. From the outset our stay was just perfect. We were made very welcome and even had welcome drinks upon arrival. This was a special visit for my mums birthday and Kirstie even baked a cake, which was absolutely delicious. The gite is immaculately presented and the interior is simply gorgeous, with sumptuous cushions, uniquely bespoke painted furniture and house plants that compliment the gite’s luxurious eclectic style. The outside space is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and listening to the nature that surrounds the outside space. They have thought of everything; an outside eating area, complete with overhead sails to stay in the shade, corner sofa area complete with parasol to stay in or out of the shade, a bbq area with small outside prep area, hot tub and even 4 sun loungers. The location is set in the countryside so expect to drive or cycle to the local vineyards and restaurants but rest assured Kirstie and Russell can recommend plenty of places of interest and even arrange cycle hire or restaurant bookings if preferred. All in all a really tranquil long weekend away that offered us plenty of tasty local food, vineyard visits, rest and relaxation in the sunshine. If you’re an animal lover then you’ll also appreciate Kirstie’s love of animals too and if you’re lucky you’ll get to taste a freshly laid egg from ’Cluckingham palace!’ A truly wonderful space and warm welcome that will encourage you to return. A gem of a holiday find - we will definitely be going back soon! Thank you Kirstie and Russell for your hospitality during our stay at Rusty Shears gite and for making great memories!
We have had such a wonderful week here in this amazing château. Such a wonderful setting and it is so well equipped. The kids LOVE the huge pool especially the diving board. We would love to come back and stay here again. Thank you.
You have been incredible hosts, communication and recommendations were excellent. The house exceeded all of our expectations and we all had an incredible time making good use of all that was on offer! Stuart and I particularly enjoyed the table tennis which got quite competitive! Thank you for allowing us to holiday at Château Trieux, it didn't disappoint! What a truly wonderful house and holiday experience we had. After exploring for a few hours on arrival it really felt like home. The children loved the pool, sporting facilities and quad bikes. The floodlit tennis court made for some great fun away from the day time heat. Whilst we loved the space and beautifully appointed rooms. You have a real gem in Château Trieux and the nearby town of Bergerac and many villages and markets as promised didn't disappoint either, simply stunning!! Thank you again and will definitely book for next year.
The property is an ideal place to spend a relaxing, very pleasant stay in the Périgord. Too bad the second week was not available.
