Just a quick note to let you know we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orchard Farmhouse.
Thank you again for the wonderful time in this very nice location. Although it was our 2nd time here, there was and is still much to explore in Occitanie! One of the favourites was the canoe trip on the Orb river (canoe-tarassac.com). We can clearly recommend it to all future visitors of this holiday house. Not to forget the beaches nearby, Château Négly if you want to taste and purchase local wine, and last but not least the swimming pool.
We had the most fabulous 2 weeks - Maison de Saint-Jean is amazing and it is so well equipped that we didn't lack anything at all.
A lovely welcome from Frederic who made us feel very much at home. We soon settled into your beautiful villa and stunning surroundings. The pool was amazing and enjoyed by all. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. Bella: It was the best holiday ever! (Age 8).
Very nice house, perfect for a large group of people like ours (10+, several families). Everything is there for the children! Very welcoming hosts who responded immediately when there was a request. On the edge of a beautiful little village, the majority of things to do are about 30-45 minutes from the house. We had a very nice stay.
We have so enjoyed our stay at Cottage du Jardin - a picture perfect house full of charm. Thonac is well placed for visiting this part of Dordogne and the restaurants and shop within easy walking distance are a huge bonus. Many thanks Caterina and Steve for your kind hospitality.
The house was beautiful! Very characterful. Anything you need is present. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Contact was good and clear. This house is definitely recommended for your vacation!
If / when we return to continue exploring this lovely area of France, we would hope to be able to stay in 'The Loft'. Russell and Karen have been very welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive and nothing seems too much trouble. Perfect hosts! Sad to be leaving after only a week.

Fantastic 10 days at Maison Joutard. The highlights:- Fantastic welcome pack. House and garden perfect for our toddlers. Equipped with everything we needed. We visited Cognac, Bordeaux, Villefagnan. Cycling to the bakery in Verdille. Whole experience highly recommended.

We had a great weekend with friends at Mas du Château. Everything was very clean, the house is comfortable and very well decorated, perfectly equipped. We were not able to take advantage of the swimming pool because of the weather. Excellent communication before our arrival and during our stay, very responsive host. Our family of 7 adults (and a toddler) spent a blissful week here in August and we were all agreed that it was pretty well perfect for our family needs. We knew we were going to love it when Philippe showed us round then presented us with the welcome pack - by far the best we have ever received when renting a holiday home. His generosity throughout the week showed him to be an exceptional host in going the extra mile to make sure guests were happy and we very much appreciated this. The layout of the villa, as other reviews have detailed, is particularly good for adult groups as there are three separate buildings housing the bedrooms (all beautifully decorated) thereby giving space to retreat if necessary. Bear in mind, if you are four couples, that the pool house room is very compact compared to the other three bedrooms. We particularly loved the comfy outdoor furniture where we gathered in the evenings and the Moroccan seating area for peace and quiet. The pool is a good size and was used every day - of course - and the boys loved playing table tennis. We love to cook and found that the kitchen was very spacious with two sinks and a huge cooker. It was also so useful having a separate fridge / freezer in the pool house annexe as you so often find that there is not enough fridge space in villas. The barbecue area was just superb and used several times. There is lots to explore close by and we did venture out for an afternoon on the canal du midi but we loved the villa so much we pretty much stayed put - it just had everything we needed. The whole villa was clean, spacious and the furnishings were good quality. What an exceptional villa this is and thank you Philippe for being such a great host. We can't wait to go back.

Thank you Karen and Russell for giving us the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful place. The Loft du Vigneron is one of the nicest places we have stayed, and we have stayed in many. The warm welcome we received when we arrived was lovely after our tiring journey. It was great to have you show us around, and your welcome pack was more than generous. The facilities here are all 5-Star; the Loft is spacious and airy, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and crockery and everything that you need, and more besides. All the ensuite bathrooms are of the highest standard with fluffy towels and pamper products (I want a new bathroom when I go home - I was spoiled here). Karen and Russell, you really know how to look after your guests and spoil them. We can't wait to come back next year for two weeks - one was not enough!
Just back from a week's stay at Villa La Baronne. I understand this is a newly renovated property and it is very clear that no expense has been spared on the project. It is a large property that could suit more than one family or a group of friends and can sleep up to 14 people. Every detail has been lovingly considered and stylishly executed. Bedrooms are beautifully appointed with elegant furnishings and comfortable beds. The house has been designed to offer endless activities both inside and out. We were lucky with the weather for October and so were able to use the huge and stunning Swimming Pool, the Jacuzzi, Pétanque pitch and the specially installed Croquet Lawn. In the evening, we took advantage of the cinema and games room, playing pool, table football, ping pong, chess and darts. A brilliant house for families with teens! There is even a huge TV, especially for use with games consoles. The house has a beautiful kitchen, fully equipped with every gadget you could require. Although we didn't use it, there is also a BBQ for evenings on the huge terrace. The property is situated on the banks of the River Tarn and is surrounded by beautiful mature trees and a large garden. It was a very quick and easy drive from the airport and local amenities for food shopping. The local village, a ten-minute walk away, was very quiet but does have a pleasant local restaurant and within a few minutes by car you can access larger towns. In less than 40 minutes we reached Toulouse centre and the beautiful town of Albi and I gather there are many other attractions within an hour from the property. Although we were briefly aware of a party at the neighbouring property, we found the location very peaceful, with lovely dark skies at night for star gazing. The Wi-Fi was extremely good and there is plenty of parking. All in all we would highly recommend this property, which is of the highest quality. Our thanks to the charming hosts.

Beautiful Home with Large Gardens and Heated Pool. A very special place. The house is spacious and the layout gives plenty of areas to relax. The garden and pool is beautiful. With woodland views, there are lots of seating areas and loungers, a hammock and games to play in the huge grassy area. And the pool is perfect. Sam is a super host, happy to help and is kind and fun. If you love yoga, then there is the chance to have a session with Sam in her beautiful yoga studio. We had the best time. Thank you!

The house is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. The Aga was a joy to use. The bathroom was spotless. The fan in the bedroom was helpful. The garden (where we spent most of our time) is a wonderfully private space. The pool is a great size...the water was crystal clear all week.
We have had a great stay in this beautiful house in the most beautiful area. We've swam, played ping pong and cards against Humanity! We've all been up the fortress Tower and kayaked down the rapids! We have been renting villas in the south of France for over 20 years and we just say that owner of Maison des Communes has been the best host we have ever had. From the very generous welcoming gifts to the twice weekly breakfast deliveries to the excellent meal in Pourquoi Pas, he could not have done any more for us. Masion is ideally located, has a lovely pool and sturdy bikes. We had great fun cycling through the vineyards to Montady, capestang, Cazouls and also along the Canal du Midi. A great location for a group of friends on an extended holiday. Merci beaucoup.
Magnificent residence on the edge of the Château de Duras. Neat, tasteful decoration and very comfortable bedding. We spent very pleasant moments all day long around the swimming pool which has its own summer kitchen. Nice aperitifs on the terrace with a splendid view of the cypresses at sunset. Walking distance to the center and all shops. We loved it and really hope to come back.
We had a wonderful two weeks at Château des Dragons. One week as a family of ten with two small children and the second week as four adults. The château worked perfectly for both. Plenty of privacy for all with a separate toilet and bathroom for each double room. The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs and we were able to produce some delicious meals. The location of the château is ideal as it is very peaceful with beautiful well kept grounds. The owners responded to all our requests quickly and were really helpful. Their recommendations for activities and restaurants were a great help and led to some great experiences for us, including a balloon ride and local wine tasting. We had a car with us, which was useful to get around, but we also used the local taxi service, including the 9 seater - the taxi company was friendly and arrived on time. The pool, château and the grounds were immaculate and the outside areas were great for mealtimes. The antiques and artwork meant there was always something new to discover. All in all, would highly recommend and may well return.
Fabulous, family and friends holiday rental. 10 of us recently stayed here for a group break. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The owners were so helpful and accommodating, they really made this a special place to stay. The house is beautifully furnished and comfy, the grounds are beautiful and there's lots to do in the area as well if you don't just want to lounge around by the pool soaking up some sunshine. Thoroughly recommended.
