I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful house and gardens last week. Aideen and I had a fantastic holiday, due in no small part to the accommodation.
Exceptional house in an exceptional setting! The house is ideally located, away from the tourist crowds with magnificent hikes nearby but close enough to Apt for basic needs. The house is as pleasant indoors in bad weather as it is outdoors the rest of the time. The kitchen is very well equipped. The host was available before the stay to advise us on all logistical aspects. An on-site contact was also made during the stay.
Thank you so much for your incredible generosity in allowing us to spend a fantastic 3 weeks in paradise. It has been incredible to share this château with our dearest family and friends. Unforgettable.

One cannot believe it can look as the pictures... in fact it is better. Everything absolutely first class and in a great location. We traveled as a family and the place managed to be both romantic and perfect for children. Cannot recommend highly enough. Six stars.
We had a wonderful stay at Kim's place. The house is perfect, the terrace is quiet and has magnificent views of the fields. The little ones had great fun with the goats, geese, chickens and pony!

We did indeed have a fantastic time all 13 of us, a great place for a large family with small children, the owner was charming and all went well.

A very nice find this tower at the World's End... A breathtaking view, hours spent looking at the horizon and the passing ships. We will remember this wonderful week for a long time! Thank you for giving a magic second life to this place.
Undoubtedly the most beautiful place we have stayed in. Your attention to detail is superb. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts - our stay has been amazing.
Magnificent old sheepfold, spacious, bright, and comfortable. The views are incredible with its large heated pool and park. Everything is within driving distance: supermarkets, typical villages, restaurants, and multiple excursions. And finally, the owners are attentive and absolutely charming!
We have had an amazing holiday! A gorgeous villa, clean and well-equipped. Thank you Philippe for being such a wonderful host – especially for the delicious pastries! The villa is so lovely that we have been more than happy to have some lazy days but we have also had some great outings. Carcassonne and its castle is not to be missed. The market at Olonzac on a Tuesday is fabulous. Narbonne beach is stunning and we really enjoyed seeing and taking a boat trip on the 9 locks of Fonseranes. We would not hesitate to return here – I think it would be very hard to find another place as good as this! Very sad to be returning home but very lucky to have made some amazing memories!
How to know where to start? Simply stunning house, gorgeous wether, sumptuous food and the best company! Thank you both so much for having us stay and we can't wait to come back and see you all again.
We had a great weekend with friends at Mas du Château. Everything was very clean, the house is comfortable and very well decorated, perfectly equipped. We were not able to take advantage of the swimming pool because of the weather. Excellent communication before our arrival and during our stay, very responsive host. Thank you Christophe, we recommend without a second thought!!
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. We have had a very relaxing week. We did many things and are full of energy again. Thank you for your hospitality and your house so welcoming and clean.
We have enjoyed several wonderful visits to this most delightful property set in bucolic rolling countryside. The house is elegant and extremely comfortable, giving maximal privacy inside and out so that guests can enjoy the peace, whether swimming in the lovely pool, or just relaxing in shade or sun. There is also a lovely terrace for al fresco dining and a fabulous collection of books. The creation of the gardens is masterful . We loved the nearby market in Condom and the creamy stone architecture of the area.
We spent 2 very good weeks in the house. The rental corresponds exactly to the photos published on the site and it was very clean when we arrived. The owners provided us with a wide description of the house, people to contact in case of concerns, visits to do allowing us to spend our stay in peace. The owner is easily reachable; an agent is on site in case of problems and a person is responsible for the maintenance of the pool every 3 to 4 days. The house is ideal for 2 couples with children because there are bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the ground floor and upstairs. We highly recommend this rental and thank Terry and Carol for the welcome.
This is our second family holiday in this wonderful house. The welcome from Ian and Hugh when we arrived was excellent. The house and garden are beautifully cared for and the standard of accommodation is 'five star'. It felt like home from home rather than a soleless rental property. Having the owners on site was a plus as they where able to guide us with local activities and restaurant recommendations... there is a lot to do in this area and being so close to some of the best wine regions in the world is definitely a big plus. We also has a lovely day in Bordeaux, which is an easy drive or train journey and well worth the effort. We plan to return next year for our summer break and I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful peaceful haven to anyone wishing to experience the best in hospitality! Thank you Ian and Hugh, you have created something very special!
This was our first holiday with our girls aged 2 years and 9 months. They had an amazing time! What a welcoming, beautiful place this is. Thank you so much for opening your home for us to share. It was the perfect place for our extended family to be together. Thank you for this fabulous experience.
A fantastic stay in a beautiful villa! Whilst parts of France may lay dormant, this region has tons of activities to offer Canoeing, walking tours of picturesque Pezanas, renting bikes at Lac du Saligou and if you're slightly odd a cracking gym 'area gym' just down the road.
This is the second visit to Maison Baleyssagues and one year of our best ever holidays. We have already booked for next year.
Our holiday at La Charmante Distillerie was absolutely superb! Mark and Gary were superb hosts and made our experience incredible from the moment we booked until the moment we left! We will definitely return for another holiday, because it was by far the best place we have ever stayed. The attention to detail was brilliant, and we were made so comfortable from start to finish. They have put so much effort into making this an incredible holiday villa and they couldn’t do enough for us. It is 5 star+ in every respect. A beautiful villa in a quiet location with so much around to explore. Thanks Mark and Gary for making our family holiday one we will remember forever, and we will return soon to enjoy it all again!

The meal at Le Pourquoi Pas was outstanding! A lovely part of France to explore. We went to Béziers, Carcassonne, Vendres and Capestang. All lovely. Gorgeous villa with a breathtaking views! The villa was modern with quality features. The kitchen with an outsized breakfast bar opens up to a comfortable living room that overlooks a spectacular 180° view, which we enjoyed from sunrise to sunset. You can walk to town within 5 minutes, although there is a steep portion of the road, which has a large selection of gourmet restaurants and light shopping. We highly recommend this villa.

We all liked this house because of the pool and the bedrooms and especially the BIG BIG garden. We love that there is a pool table. The kids and adults love jumping in the pool. Hope we get to come here again. We all didn't want to leave.
