Well, what can we say other than we have had a ball and our 'musicals' night with you both will enter the folklore of the families. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality, friendship and laughs - what a holiday! We've loved every minute of our holiday. The Loft is superb in every aspect. As hosts we could not have hoped for a more welcoming, friendly and helpful couple - you are amongst the chosen! Thank you so much for helping us have such an amazing holiday.
After a cool and wet start, we have enjoyed a lovely sunny week exploring the area around this charming and well-appointed cottage. Even ventured a dip in the pristine pool! Thank you Caterina, Steve and Bennie.
We had a wonderful family holiday, the house is beautiful and had everything we needed. The outside area is simply perfect. The children loved the pool and the garden. Good restaurants nearby. Thanks for everything.
What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. In June, we stayed for a fortnight at La Picholine. In the middle of the vineyards. Plenty of peace, space and beautiful views. The pool is great and beautiful views there too.
Thank you Claire for a wonderful stay in a beautiful gîte! The area around here is excellent for walking and we had a good day out in Angoulême.
We spent a relaxing week at Maison Rohmer near Gordes. It was down a very private road and not overlooked by other properties. Very tastefully furnished with everything we needed and more! Just lacking an upstairs toilet in the master ensuite. Gorgeous big pool and we managed to swim in it despite it still staying chilly even in hot July. Lovely area a short drive to beautiful Gordes and other towns and markets. Definitely recommend a stay at this lovely home.
Superb property with all the comforts. We spent a week in July 2023 with family and loved the beauty of this area. The infinity pool, the jacuzzi and the ping-pong table delighted the children. The wooded park offers a beautiful space for relaxation and walking. Thank you again for Francesca’s welcome and services!
We have had a very enjoyable 2 weeks stay at Le Pigat. There is plenty of room and it is very well equipped with everything you need. The daily delivery of fresh bread is a must for anyone staying here. Very tasty. We spent lazy days by the pool. Lots of fun. Evenings spend dining on the terrace, in the true French way. We would like to thank everyone for their very friendly welcome on our arrival.
We have had an amazing holiday! A gorgeous villa, clean and well-equipped. Thank you Philippe for being such a wonderful host – especially for the delicious pastries! The villa is so lovely that we have been more than happy to have some lazy days but we have also had some great outings. Carcassonne and its castle is not to be missed. The market at Olonzac on a Tuesday is fabulous. Narbonne beach is stunning and we really enjoyed seeing and taking a boat trip on the 9 locks of Fonseranes. We would not hesitate to return here – I think it would be very hard to find another place as good as this! Very sad to be returning home but very lucky to have made some amazing memories!
What a wonderful week! The villa is full of elegant and eclectic touches and the outside areas are divine. The pool is just perfect and the shade was needed this week when it was very hot (but not as hot as back home - thank goodness!) Beziers is lovely and there are plenty of places to visit near by. Philippe - you were a wonderful host providing recommendations when asked and keeping the pool sparkling clean. The treats you delivered were fabulous as was the trip you organised to Saint Chinian. A lovely accommodation. We are delighted with the accommodation at Manoir Altheas - very lovely and all works beautifully.
We absolutely loved our time here. The owner was a joy to work with. The home was absolutely charming. It was located on a picturesque hill, featured spacious, comfortable rooms and every luxury one would need while there. The home was spotless upon our arrival and the neighbors on the street were extremely helpful, pleasant and welcoming. We enjoyed swimming in the crisp, cool pool; hearing the church bells ring and exploring the neighboring villages as we attending the daily farmer's markets. We cannot wait to come back and are considering an extended stay as we fell in love with the area and this home. I would highly recommend it if you would like to truly experience the people and feel of the region.
We've had an excellent time in this beautiful villa. Sunbathing by the pool, swimming and rock climbing (just some of the things we've done). We hope to be back next year.
Magnificent residence on the edge of the Château de Duras. Neat, tasteful decoration and very comfortable bedding. We spent very pleasant moments all day long around the swimming pool which has its own summer kitchen. Nice aperitifs on the terrace with a splendid view of the cypresses at sunset. Walking distance to the center and all shops. We loved it and really hope to come back.

Hi future guest, The couple who own the property have poured so much love into every corner of the beautiful. home that you can feel it when you stay there. The place is so much more cosy and beautifully designed than the pictures give the impression. During our stay we said we wanted to listen to music and asked if there were speakers onsite. Karen and Russell said there wasn't but then went out and bought a pair for us to use! At one point we were cooking and I borrowed some olive oil, curry powder and a chilli pepper. I wanted to get a guitar and they told me where a fabulous music shop was and I ended up purchasing a beautiful guitar. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt beyond welcome. The place is a bit like a fairytale place, and they made our stay beyond what we imagined. It is an oasis and a sanctuary and close to many nearby sites such as Château de Rene and others. Highly recommend staying here.

Fabulous, family and friends holiday rental. 10 of us recently stayed here for a group break. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The owners were so helpful and accommodating, they really made this a special place to stay. The house is beautifully furnished and comfy, the grounds are beautiful and there's lots to do in the area as well if you don't just want to lounge around by the pool soaking up some sunshine. Thoroughly recommended.
We felt very comfortable here in this house with the beautiful garden and pool. Peacefulness, rest and relaxation - What more would you want? We particularly appreciated how attentive and helpful people were in Bessan and Agde as we needed help for our little Leah. We have greatly enjoyed our time, recovered and will definitely come back. Wonderful house, with impeccable physical structure and decoration and to top it off, a breathtaking view of Lake Annecy. The hosts are extremely friendly, helpful and gave great tips on activities in the area. Without a doubt, one of the most memorable family vacations!!!
Lovely house in an ideal situation. We had a wonderful time doing a little exploring but mainly lying by the beautiful pool. It's an ideal design to sit in and cool off. Two minutes walk for croissants in the morning and Rose wine in the afternoon - the Supermarket! We agree its a 5 / 5.
Beautiful maintained home and grounds. Excellent facilities for young families. All modern and child / baby amenities provided. Daily housekeeping was an added bonus compared to previous holiday rentals.
Difficult to put into words how beautiful this place is! We’ve seen deer, fox and eagles. We've had a lovely week, spent more time together than of late and it’s been memorable. Thank you.
