Wonderful family holiday We had a wonderful week staying at Manoir de Saux, spent mostly by or in the beautiful pool or on the tennis court! Occasionally we would tear ourselves away from this idyll to wander through pretty fortified towns, to have a delicious local lunch and to taste wine. We all particularly liked Cahors. The house itself was very comfortable, had everything we needed and the kids couldn't have been happier. Highly recommended!

A brief note to advise that we have enjoyed a wonderful week at Château de la Ronde. It is a very special location and premises of the highest order. Claire is a charming host. We hope to maybe return one day.

We've had a blissful week here. The house is beautifully and very stylishly renovated and is extremely comfortable and easy to live in. The surrounding environment is stunning. We've loved picking fresh figs straight from the tree breakfast and getting to know the local wines.
Lovely quiet house with pool in the heart of a pretty village - garden well maintained and flowered with magnificent views of the Dordogne - Interior decoration - friendly welcome - Geographical location (30 minutes from Sarlat and Domme) - The area is superb. There are numerous activities and visiting castles or cities, biking and canoeing... Well recommended!

A house as exceptionally welcoming as it is easy to live in and comfortable. We spent a week there with friends and our children and we didn't see the time passing. The garden, the swimming pool, the barbecue, the ping pong table and all the numerous facilities made available by Marie-Thérèse allowed us to have many good times.
Here we are again! The Loft and it’s setting never loses its WOW! factor; we have had yet another ( fifth ) visit, having enjoyed the garden, pool, local area and not least your wonderful hospitality. Thank you so much - an oasis of calm in the Covid-19 storm! The measures you have taken to protect guests have been executed with your usual discretion and thoroughness, allowing us to truly relax.
It seems but a moment since we arrived two weeks ago, but we have had a lovely time. Thank you for your hospitality and wonderful company. What a pity we couldn’t come in June, but we are optimistic about next year. It feels much safer here in France than it does in England - we saw much more of Rieux than we have before, and have had some splendid meals. Our favourite is definitely l’Abbaye de Fontfroide, though Relais de Chantovent comes a close second. Until next June.
Utopia. There are many things that make a perfect villa holiday. Location: Les Granels is situated in the most idyllic part of Southern France. Views: the vista is spectacular. Products: two dishwashers, good Wi-Fi, amazing sound systems, a gym, a hot tub, stacks of sports equipment, a multitude of inflatables, not to mention the best coffee machine ever. Space: this villa is vast. Plenty of places to escape and relax and plenty of places to gather and chat. Swimming pool: the pool is amazing, a constant temperature and under water lights. But,by far the most important thing about a relaxing holiday is comfortable beds. The mattresses and beds at Les Granels are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Think 5 star hotel comfort and you’re getting close. This villa is the epitome of relaxation. A wondrous expanse of high-end chic that cannot fail in taking your worries and stresses away. From the initial booking and liaising with Pure France representatives to the thoroughly professional and entertaining manager Steve. The whole experience was a joy. The villa was immaculate when we arrived. We had a couple of minor problems that Steve sorted very quickly. We were sad to leave. Still dreaming of going back. Thoroughly recommend.
What a gorgeous place! You have made a beautiful job of the Loft du Vigneron. It is homely, classy and welcoming, and you have thought of everything! We felt thoroughly pampered and loved every minute of our stay. The Loft will remain as my screensaver for quite some time to come… Can't wait to see the pics of the house. Weekend with friends. We had a pleasant stay. David and Kirstie's house is beautiful. The environment is very calm and relaxing. The house is very large, the rooms are spacious, the bedding comfortable. Each room is equipped with a bathroom. David and Kirstie are very attentive and available hosts. I recommend.

We would love to come back again x We have had an amazing week here at Maison La Pérouse. Oscar and Olive have both loved exploring the garden. Oscar has particularly enjoyed playing hide and seek in the wood, doing tricks on the trampoline and spotting fish in the pond. Our second stay here in the Cottage and it does not disappoint. The pool is just bliss. It has been very hot. We kept the shutters closed to keep the house cold. It worked. We noticed a distinct absence of mosquitoes this year too. This area has so much to offer we filled two weeks with amazing adventures. Thanks to previous guests, we found Fanlac, a truly beautiful village not far from here. Plazac too with its medicinal garden. On our final day we discovered Coly-St-Amand, an incredible little village with the most amazing fortified church. In this village, there is a lovely vegetarian café. The food is delicious and homemade: "Café Rapiette". As fo the bigger days out we once again were won over by the beautiful Jardins of Eyrignac. If you love gardens, this is one of the best in the world. the same can be said for jardins de Marqueyssac, which are well worth visiting. This time around, we visited Beynac. The château is our favourite. The views are quite incredible and you can see Richard The Lionheart's bedroom. Oh, quite a thing. In the village, is a superb restaurant, "La Petite Tonnelle". again, a superb vegetarian menu alongside the usual dishes, duck and foie gras. Nothing, on the château front can match Château de Losse in the village, it is absolutely breathtaking. Our second visit was just as amazing as our first. What a position it occupies. On this trip we also visited La-Roque-Saint-Christophe and Château de Hautefort, well worth returning to both as they are fascinating and there is always something new to learn. Our most interesting an remarkable find was "Cabanes du Breuil" don't miss it! This will leave you amazed! As for eating, we had superb food virtually everywhere. With no hesitation the very best place to eat is the Relais de Montignac in the forum. The presentation of the food is Masterchef level, but the price for three courses is less than a main course in the UK. It is excellent. As for markets, Montignac on a Wednesday is fun. Terrasson is also good, definitely bigger but after it you can go up to the Jardins de l'Imagination and they are fabulous. the Town is lovely. Make sure you walk along the older parts. Enjoy the cottage, enjoy the love, enjoy the town, enjoy the region. It's all amazing.

We would recommend eating at L'Ambrosia in Pezens, La Bergerie at Aragon and the restaurant at Le Château de Pennautier (quite local). Narbonne was a pleasant surprise (including its plage) for a day trip.
At Les Oliviers du Sud we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!

We've been lucky enough to stay at Manoir de Fouilloux on two separate occasions and have loved our stay both times. The house has been decorated and equipped to an extremely high standard. The property is blessed with beautiful views and a number of perfectly maintained gardens, ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine, either on the terrace or in the Moroccan courtyard and den or by the swimming pool. It is also within a short distance of picturesque towns and châteaux. If you fancy some wine tasting St Emilion is close by as are the vineyards of Bergerac or maybe a visit to a local food market in Riberac. We are certainly planning to stay again! Spacious, pretty and very well located house! We had a great week in your accommodation! Host attentive and available to answer questions. Accommodation next to the house (the atelier) is very good when two families stay, each has their own autonomy with their own personal space. We recommend this house without hesitation!
