Great family house and amazing pool which accommodated 17 of us! Loved the croquet particularly. It's been a wonderful family holiday. Thank you.
This was our sixth visit to Maison Baleyssagues - it really is a perfect place to stay! The villa was as comfortable and elegant as always with lots of stylish new touches that we enjoyed. There’s everything a family can possibly need from games and books to a wonderful new kitchen to fantastic grounds to walk and play in. The pool in particular was well used as it was so hot during our visit. It's a lovely place to swim and relax. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and offers lots of fun and interesting places to visit with some great restaurants nearby. Particular favourites to eat for us are La Terrasse in Duras and Restaurant Italian Des Arcades in Eymet. The night market in Duras is also well worth a visit to try local wines and food. This was our sixth visit to the villa but it won’t be our last!
Rachel and Anthony made us feel welcome and were on hand, if needed, for any information. It was the best gite we have stayed at in twenty years of holidaying in France. Recommend taking train into Carcassonne from Bram. It is so easy and only 15 minutes or so.
What a pleasure we had spending a week full of sunshine in your magnificent villa! Four adults, eight children... and everyone found what they were looking for. Beautiful house, superb garden, fantastic swimming pool!!! We made the most of it. Thank you for your kindness and your availability. You are really very helpful and friendly. Fabulous location with views to die for. Pool gorgeous and vital. Village cute with decent local restaurant. Food/wine pairing at Domaine Gayda fabulous - walking distance too!

What a fantastic week we have had. Thank you so very much for your hospitality. Our son loved the trampoline and the swimming pool and our daughters loved playing under the shady trees in your beautiful garden. The roses are gorgeous and their smell filled our lazy days. Excellent home, beautiful garden, fantastic amenities nearby and we really enjoyed Saumur too. We hope to come again very soon please. Until then, merci beaucoup.
Thank you for a great 2-week stay here. The house is lovely and we have enjoyed staying here. Can highly recommend the Château de la Rivière vineyard tour, 10 Euros per person and well worth it. Best meals out we had were at Bistro Pharell (the food is sooo good!) and Bistro Maritime in Libourne - great river views from the terrace. Saint-Émilion is a must - so beautiful. If you are a fish lover, a trip out to Arcachon is well worth a visit. Chez Pierre is amazing for seafood. Dunes du Pilat are also worth the climb for the spectacular views! Sunny evenings by the pool are also amazing. Had a great time overall, thanks so much.
Another wonderful visit to Bellevue the perfect place for some much-needed R&R. A week filled with sunshine, swimming and hot air balloons overhead! Even an incredible storm didn't spoil the pleasure of being here. Roll on August for return visit with all the family.
Thank you for the warm welcome - Rêve de Pêcheur is very charming. We enjoyed village life and visits to Château de Villandry, the Cadre Noir, Château de Langeais and Fontevraud Abbey.
I had a week in August and had a wonderful time. The property was immaculate and extremely well appointed. The location beautiful and exceeded expectations. I also wanted to share the fantastic hospitality of the host, Debbie. There were homemade yoghurts in the morning and a private yoga session arranged. Recommendations on restaurants and places to see. This was all done without being pushy or infringing on our holiday or privacy in any way.
I just wanted to say what a great time we had on our recent visit to Maison Des Communes, Philippe and Federica were wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. The house in a tranquil location was perfect for a very relaxing get away from it all.
The weather has been great so spent most of our time in the pool and on the sun loungers. We loved visiting the towns and villages nearby and particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries every morning! Thank you for the great holiday we had in this great villa and a holiday we will never forget, and a holiday we loved every minute of. We all will be very, very sad to be leaving! Merci!

Narbonne is a classic, small French city. The villa is a perfect match and then some - more spacious than the pictures suggest and terrific spaces both outdoor and in. Well be back for more visits and more wine!
An absolute treasure of a place to stay with attentive hosts making sure our trip was comfortable and stress free. It's a home from home with the added delight of the sun, relaxing pool and sitting out of an evening with friends and wine. Fabulous, family and friends holiday rental. 10 of us recently stayed here for a group break. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The owners were so helpful and accommodating, they really made this a special place to stay. The house is beautifully furnished and comfy, the grounds are beautiful and there's lots to do in the area as well if you don't just want to lounge around by the pool soaking up some sunshine. Thoroughly recommended.
We had a lovely stay at Pinaux. The house conversion is beautiful and comfortable for days we didn’t go out. Everything went smoothly with the keys and check in. Henk and Renee were friendly and welcoming. Thank you for providing some basics, including coffee, milk and sugar.

Oscar has particularly enjoyed playing hide and seek in the wood, doing tricks on the trampoline and spotting fish in the pond. We had a wonderful time at Villa Estephe. As we mentioned while there, this is about our sixth visit to the area so we were very well acquainted with its beauty. As you know, the weather was fantastic, even a little too hot in the second week, so shade from the trees and air conditioning were both very welcome. The accommodation is excellent and very comfortable. If we visit the area again, we will certainly be considering your property. Thank you for our stay.

The house is stunning. The vintage furniture and decor mixed with more modern touches made us feel immediately at home! We enjoyed the pool area very much as well! And the location was perfect as well. Being able to see the boats on the Canal du Midi from the living room makes the house even more cozy and amazing. We will definitely come back soon! Thank you.
Excellent. We had a very good stay. The villa is very well equipped, dishes, utensils, everything is present. An exceptional panoramic view of the vineyards from the house and the swimming pool. Warm welcome on our arrival and guaranteed rest in the middle of the vineyards.
One week was NOT enough!! What a wonderful spot! The Loft was a perfect base and location for relaxation. The garden is lovely and we made good use of the boules court. Cycling by the Canal du Midi was lovely and we enjoyed a walk up behind Caunes-Minervois to enjoy the wildlife and sculpture park. The weather was perfect sunshine to allow some activity.
