Magnificent house, breathtaking view of the village bell tower, refreshing swimming pool. Rooms ideal for long nights and restorative naps! Fabulous.
Our Stay at Château Bellevue couldn’t have been more delightful and could not have been better appointed, the furnishings were gorgeous, the room proportions, very good, the views onto the grounds very relaxing and peaceful. Close by is the glamour and razzmatazz of Biarritz whilst the beautiful city of Bayonne is so handy for wonderful shopping and fabulous restaurants. The log fire was a great treat for cosy evenings. The tennis court and swimming pool makes the château a holiday centre in itself where you can while away days before realising that maybe you should explore a little further into the surrounding countryside, cities and world famous beaches.
Our family loved staying in this farmhouse. We couldn't get the kids out of the pool, the sunsets were beautiful and we enjoyed watching the birds fly all around us. It was a great place to come home to after a full day of sightseeing. Very relaxing!
Comfortable. Well equipped château. Spacious. Well tended grounds. Stunning pool area, very inviting! All really good. Comfortable sitting area. Well organised roomy playroom being a real bonus. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. Helpful at all times and unobtrusive. Huge bonus having the daily housekeeping service as well as shopping service. Our family stayed at the Mas de Lozanne for two weeks and it was a resounding success with us all. The property was exactly as described in the details and photographs - light airy rooms, a beautiful garden and one of the best pools I've ever seen in a private house. The air conditioning was very welcome as we were there in a heatwave! Dom and Ina looked after us very well and answered all our queries. Pèzenas is a lovely little place and we certainly hope to return. I had never heard of Pure France before coming across them on the net and it's always a slightly scary thing to send several thousand Euros 'into the ether' in this age of Internet scams. However I need not have worried as this agency was extremely efficient and straightforward in all our dealings, answering my queries by return. I would like to thank them and would certainly recommend them.
Thank you so much for your hospitality. The view is fantastic. We have had a lovely relaxing week. Carcassonne and Castelnaudary were lovely. We had fantastic day in the Pyrénées and Andorra. Despite the rain when we arrived, the weather has been sunny and warm. Au revoir!
Panoramic views of the countryside and a short drive to a local village where we could get all of our suppliers, every aspect of the stay was catered for and a stunning pool. So peaceful and tranquil, we didn’t want to leave. Just perfect.
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your house. We did have a great time here with our kids. The weather was splendid. We did enjoy the pool, the garden and the whole mansion. We celebrated a week's holiday with 6 adult children and 2 grandchildren. The house is equipped with all modern conveniences, has a beautiful and complete interior, but still has an authentic appearance. The space in and around the house is gigantic and there is plenty of entertainment for everyone: from a nice swimming pool with many sun loungers to a room with numerous games and a good tennis court. Highly recommended for a family holiday. We will definitely go back again.

Our stay at Le Mas de Combet was fantastic. We had a warm welcome at our arrival, the house is perfectly situated in the countryside. It is very quiet with a very nice view on forests and fields. The swimming pool is big and clean and although the weather wasn’t very hot, the pool was perfect. Our host has given us ideas and indications about what to do in the area and has cared about us during the stay, offering his help and assistance, even with fresh bread! We definitely recommend this house and would love to stay there again, whenever possible!

Thanks again for allowing us to experience your lovely house – we had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed very much staying at Domaine de Nérige, the house exceeded our expectations, in style, comfort and location. Your catering for dinner was wonderful! The shops at LeClerc had everything we needed, the vineyards nearby were great and so welcoming, Carcassonne was fascinating, Limoux was really nice and cycling along the Canal de Midi was delightful – but coming back to the house at the end of the day was so relaxing and the highlight! We hope to come back again hopefully sometime.
5 stars are simply not sufficient when it comes to a review of this outstanding gite. A truly fabulous week starting with a warm welcome (and delicious cognac cocktail) from Mark and Gary and then the luxurious surroundings which we adored, 7 days of absolute luxury and a credit to the wonderful hosts who made our stay that extra bit special. Attention to detail is exemplary, everything you could possibly need is provided (from whisked milk for the perfect coffee and an air fryer to the hairdryers and divine smelling body wash and in the waterfall showers). The welcome hamper was a delight and Mark and Gary were the perfect hosts with excellent recommendations for dinner (Le Boule D’Or and Les Droles were excellent) and places to visit. Everything is utterly spotless (including the pool and terrace which were meticulously cleaned each day) and the beds are like sleeping in the clouds. The welcoming scent throughout is something we’ll remember at home thanks to a visit to Aubeterre to Savon Garde. We cannot fault this incredible haven of tranquility and luxury and are already planning a return visit. Thank you Mark and Gary for transforming La Charmante Distillerie to such an outstanding holiday destination, and for your hospitality from start to finish.
Weather lovely watching the house and surroundings. Trip to a little place 45 or so miles away called Coulon well worth a day out there. It was a very pretty riverside town where you could hire bikes, canoes or kayaks or take a leisurely stroll only the banks. Then enjoy refreshments at the riverside bars/restaurants while enjoying the sunshine and scenery. Will definitely visit again. Stayed here many times and never get tired as there is always somewhere new to go and explore (if you can bear ro tear yourself away from here). My family had amazing stay here. We have 2 young kids (aged 1 and 5) and the apartment was clean, secure, modern appliances (including washer/dryer), ocean view and beautiful infinity rooftop pool. The bedrooms were a good size, easy to use temperature controls air conditioning and black out shades. A crib and a high chair were available at the apartment. There is a large supermarket/everything store across the street and the apartment exits right on the beach boardwalk, so easy walk to the marina and beach restaurants. I hope we get to return soon.
The views from the outside dining area are amazing, from Mt Ventoux in the east to Les Dentelles in the West and looking down the hill to the medieval old town of Vaison. We love the walk to Villedieu with lunch in the village square. A short drive away to Gigondas and Les Dentelles opens up some great walks. Another favourites are the markets in Vaison and Bedoin, the later market was followed by a drive up Mt Ventoux. The house is finished to a high level and very comfortable and well equipped, we enjoyed our time here very much.
If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay in Provence, we highly recommend this estate (La Bastide 1718) for 8 days to accommodate 35 people for our wedding. We had planned activities throughout the week: hiking, yoga, visiting the butterfly garden without forgetting a visit to a cellar. Our group loved it! We organized the welcome reception, the wedding ceremony, the wedding lunch, dinner and the post brunch at various locations in the Bastide. It was so magical that we thought we were in a dream. The property still has a few things to improve for event planning and long stays but Thomas was welcoming and once there everything was perfect. The wine is also delicious. We love their 10 Euro rosé and drank cases of it during our stay. Their white wines are also very, very good. Their wine is delicious and hard to find in the United States! Overall, I highly recommend staying here. It will clear your mind as you are surrounded by nature, wildlife and vineyards that stretch endlessly. We enjoyed hiking right next to the property every morning. For a city break, you are 45 minutes from the coast, 40 minutes from old Hyères, which is our favorite Provençal town and 10 minutes from a Michelin star restaurant in La Celle. We highly recommend. Their olive oil is also delicious!
A beautiful fun filled 7 days in this amazing house. Thank you. Equipped for all 8 of us. Kids swam everyday, favourite game of the week. Dads throwing balls high/low/long and making the biggest splash. Parents enjoying evening games of scrabble over a few too many. Lots of towns and markets visited. Thank you for a delightful week in a truly charming cottage. Even if the weather was a wee bit shy about showing the sun the house more than made up for it with its character. The 2 restaurants in the village are excellent! (Remember a torch if you're coming after dinner!). Sarlat on a Wednesday (market day) well worth a visit. Saint-Léon is a pretty place with a big choice of "eateries". Lascaux IV is interesting and well presented.! Many thanks Caterina and Steve!
This beautifully maintained property is less than two hours outside of Paris. We never wanted to leave the grounds, there is everything to keep the kids happy: miles to run, pool, tennis and playhouse. We adults lazed all day by the pool while the children run happy and wild on the enclosed grounds. The owner gave us wonderful recommendations for off the beaten path wine tastings. Make sure she shows you the mill across the stream where they make the best croissants and bread. The layout of the château allows for several families to enjoy a vacation together, while maintaining peaceful, private moments. Best family vacation ever.
