It has been fun cooking and eating out on the terrace with the wonderful views.
We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very nice, bright, very well equipped. The large terrace overlooking the small harbour and the sea is at the top, with the sound of cicadas. The living space is very bright and pleasant to live in. The kitchen is very well equipped. Local shops, including a large Giant Casino, are accessible by car, on Beaulieu, 5 minutes by car. Even if access to the station and bus is quite simple, prefer the car... or the boat, because the port is at the bottom of the building.
Everything is fantastic, the chalet is even better than in the photos and we notice the affection we gave it in the smallest details. It has everything you could need and the devices are big brands. We stayed with many children and they had a good time. A big thank you to the hosts and we hope to return soon.
We loved this peace! Thank you so much for making our week here the best we have had ever in France. All your help and tips made a perfect week to us. We can certainly recommend La Route du Sel. Bike rental from Gennes was also a great way to see La Loire. Thank you also for keeping the house and garden so beautifully. We hope to come back!

We have had a wonderful relaxing week at Le Malardier. The house is stunning and photographs do not do it justice. We loved watching the sun rise, taking in the view with our morning coffee. The pool and pool house have been enjoyed by all. Leisurely lunches in the outdoor dining area and a game of boules in the evening. Many thanks to Richard and Gay who have been so helpful and superb hosts.

For once, the house was better than the photos ! Quality and tasteful interior and magnificent garden. Well maintained pool. Lovely countryside walks nearby. Great local restaurants. Don't miss a visit to Minerve, a traditional Cathar town. A fabulous holiday.
An amazing and wonderful place to stay! We only had a week but it was a very special week, our first time in the Dordogne was made into an extra special one by staying in this fairytale cottage with the owners providing everything that you would want or need for a brilliant holiday they were the perfect hosts! The cottage was perfect, clean and very comfortable not to mention the pool which was an added bonus we would be very happy to recommend this beautiful cottage and location for a relaxing holiday!
Thank you so much for yet another fantastic vacation here at your lovely Camirout. This year the weather has been perfect so we really enjoyed our trips to Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, the caves and canoeing on the River Du Auemant-du-Dropt. This was the most perfect house for our extended family to reconnect and relax in. The house was beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The outside spaces were lovely, with plenty of options for a large group to socialise. We particularly enjoyed the outside kitchen, pool and table tennis in the barn. The walk back from the local bar was lovely. All in all we would thoroughly recommend this property and hope to return one day. Thank you so much.
La Petite Maison Générille is pure magic. Tucked away in the rolling hills of the Dordogne, this peaceful gîte blends rustic charm with stylish comfort. The saltwater pool is dreamy, the interiors are beautifully done, and every corner feels like a breath of fresh French countryside air. We didn't want to leave — and we're already planning our return.

I thoroughly enjoyed the walks that we went on and I was grateful for the time that you both took to do that, which you didn't need to do. It was so relaxing and the views were stunning. We have had a wonderfully relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable two weeks at this beautiful gite. It has been fantastically and sensitively renovated both inside and out. The pool is an absolute joy to sit by and relax, read and take in the scenery! Also, Pete has been an excellent host, a mine of local knowledge. We enjoyed visiting Monpazier, Issigeac, Villereal and Sarlat.
All 7 of us had an amazing time at Richard and Gay's stunning villa. From the pool house to their courtyards to the kitchen, every one of their beautifully restored spaces added something different. Incredibly easy to deal with, they both looked after us from the minute we got in contact with them to the day we (extremely reticently!) left. They went above and beyond, booking us into a local restaurant for our first night and even doing a light shop so we wouldn't be without provisions when all the shops were shut! The house is surrounded by stunning scenery, with a seeming never ending supply of French villages, towns and monuments to explore. If we came back every year for the rest of our lives we still wouldn't see everything. Huge thanks to both and we will hopefully see you again soon!
A fabulous 2 week holiday for the whole family, ages from 11 weeks to 70 years!! A superb house + grounds and a very special thanks to Lynda for her generosity + helping us on our last weekend.
