Our party of 12 plus four small people had a fantastic week in Domaine de Nérige recently. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished and decorated and the terrace and pool areas were great places to relax. We had the choice of two very well kitted out kitchens and also made great use of the barbecue and outdoor dining facilities. The games barn and boules court were well used and there was parking for a fleet of cars. It was a ten minute drive down the hill to Limoux where the supermarket provided for all our food and drinks needs. Our biggest praise goes to the owners Sandie and David. They were on hand and extremely helpful and friendly on the few occasions when we needed them but for the rest of the time we didn't know they were there. Perfect hosts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here for a large group of family and friends... we would love to return at some point in the future. Thank you Sandie and David... all your hard work renovating this beautiful home has certainly paid off.
Wow, what a beautiful house you have, it had everything we needed for a perfect family holiday. Thank you for sharing it, we take away very happy memories of our time here. This is our first visit staying in Dordogne and we have loved the beautiful scenery, not to mention some amazing restaurants and delicious croissants and chocolatines!!! The gardnes are stunning with the smell of the lavander and roses (my favorites).
This beautifully maintained property is less than two hours outside of Paris. We never wanted to leave the grounds, there is everything to keep the kids happy: miles to run, pool, tennis and playhouse. We adults lazed all day by the pool while the children run happy and wild on the enclosed grounds. The owner gave us wonderful recommendations for off the beaten path wine tastings. Make sure she shows you the mill across the stream where they make the best croissants and bread. The layout of the château allows for several families to enjoy a vacation together, while maintaining peaceful, private moments. Best family vacation ever.
Thank you for allowing us to holiday at Château Trieux, it didn't disappoint! What a truly wonderful house and holiday experience we had. After exploring for a few hours on arrival it really felt like home. The children loved the pool, sporting facilities and quad bikes. The floodlit tennis court made for some great fun away from the day time heat. Whilst we loved the space and beautifully appointed rooms. You have a real gem in Château Trieux and the nearby town of Bergerac and many villages and markets as promised didn't disappoint either, simply stunning!! Thank you again and will definitely book for next year.
Thank you so much for our lovely relaxing stay in your home. We have waited a couple of years due to covid and our boys (and ourselves) really enjoyed our stay. You made us feel so welcome and we have very muh enjoyed spending time in your garden watching regular visitors like woodpeckers, buzzards and barn owls, etc. We are already planning to come back and promise to visit more of the region. I spent a week at this villa in September with my young family. It was perfect. Villa: The property itself is beautiful. It enjoys a large plot and is nicely secluded. The property is very well maintained. The bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen etc. look as they have recently been refurbished. The pool area / gardens are stunning and very well secluded. There is a pool-house equipped with a brick barbecue, kitchen / dining area and shower / toilet. We spent most of our time in this area. Location: The drive from Nice airport is about 45 minutes - it's quite a straightforward journey, mostly on the motorway. I believe Marseille airport is a similar distance away. The property sits in a very nice, secluded area close to many vineyards. The town square (Vidauban) is about 5 minutes' drive from the property. There you will find everything you need from supermarkets through to restaurants and bars. St Tropez, Cannes and Monaco are all under 1 hour away by car Overall, I would highly recommend this villa. I have stayed at other villas in France, which have felt quite dated. This property has been very well maintained and modernised, but still has that French charm about it. We will definitely be returning to this property

Villa La Baronne has been an absolute dream holiday! The house itself is beautifully decorated and a pleasure to stay in. We thoroughly enjoyed all the activities on site, especially splashing around in the pool, playing on the pool table and attempting to have a go at croquet. Villa La Baronne is also in a great location, short drives away from lots of restaurants and especially some playing fields which we enjoyed kicking a ball around on. We love it here! We don't want to go! Thank you!
An exceptional house in an exceptional setting. We were able to stay a week in this house in so many different ways, as a family, as a couple with friends and this house allows to enjoy life! Take the time to enjoy the superb cuisine, professional level equipment, with and without a caterer, you will appreciate the heart of the house. A large piece of land that can be shared around the house for different activities, a superb seating area with views on the Rhone, a welcoming corner around a round table and its tennis court not far away. The land extends to offer a short walk, allowing digestive walks following the big banquets in the reception house where a large sofa, retro projector and bar await you! Perfect tranquility and very comfortable bedding, enough to spend an exceptional stay where rest and pleasure are the key words of our experience.
We can't wait to return. Russell and Karen are perfect hosts and the Loft is amazing. We can't imagine how your next project will look, we shall have to come back and see for ourselves. Languedoc, Occitanie is so beautiful and we have only scratched the surface. The Loft is the perfect place to stay and venture out from, returning to its calm and tranquil environment - just perfect. One week was certainly not enough and we both hope very much to return soon and we wish you all the best.
Firstly I'd like to say that we were very lucky to stay in such a beautiful villa, it was really charming ! The house manager Natalie was so kind too in helping us. She was very thoughtful and helpful. The owner was very helpful too when I needed to contact him regarding something Natalie passed on his number to me and said it was fine). They are a lovely family and again we were very lucky to have found the villa with Pure France!
Just wanted to touch base to say thank you for another 2 wonderful weeks in your lovely home. There's so much to do in the area! It was great fun.
We found the property by chance a few years ago and have been back twice since and will be returning with our 4 and 6 year old kids again this July! We have come to think of it as our French home away from home. The house is beautifully located and the interior and exterior space makes for a fabulous family vacation. The pool on the lower terrace gives enough separation that you can keep the kids safely away and the pool alarm adds that extra level of comfort. The owners continue to maintain and upgrade the property well and the new BBQ area on the terrace gets used daily for those lunch and evening meals overlooking the valley. The short stroll to town is easy and avoids having to worry about cars and parking, although a glass or two of Provence wine helps with the walk back up the hill afterwards which could be a challenge for those less mobile. Most hire cars will fit up the lane to the house (we had a Volvo C90 last year and were fine) but if you have a very large people carrier it can get a little narrow to maneuver round the corner at the bottom. The house is perfect for one or two families to enjoy a wonderful escape.
Anthony and Rachel make wonderful hosts being friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and also very generous with their excellent "welcome pack". We loved the whole region: Carcassonne and Mirepoix are a "must" (the owners of the "Mad Hatter" cafe in Mirepoix are Brits) and we enjoyed the markets at Mirepoix and Revel. Also enjoyed the drive south from Revel through the pretty villages/small town of Saissac. Lagrasse is a pleasant village but a tad overrated in our view. On the other hand, we loved Minerve and the Minervois region including the small town of Caunes-Minervois. Fontfroide is worth a visit and Montesegur is a must if in that area. We enjoyed Peyriac de-Mer and Gruissan on the coast but would avoid Narbonne Plage on another occasion - great beach though! Toulouse is a pleasant city and worth a visit if cities are "your thing" and the SNCF smartphone app worked brilliantly. For a special lunch, Cote Resto is a must. Excellent food and in a wonderful setting.

This time coming back in the summer we got to enjoy time by the pool with breathtaking views, monopoly in the living room, TV nights upstairs and dining under the stars outside. Your home is special to us and we always want to come back and never want to leave! It feels as if time stands still and our holidays feel so long and luxurious every time we are here.
We were absolutely overwhelmed by beauty, tranquility and views surrounding the wonderful home. Such a privilege to spend time here forming special memories with the family - especially celebrating a significant birthday! We enjoyed the gorgeous pool, BBQ'd, had a vineyard tour and wine tasting, kayaked on the Dordogne and much more. My wife and I, along with our eldest granddaughter, spent a truly memorable week at Maison Baleyssagues. For an introduction to the region of unspoilt bastide towns of upper Lot-et Garonne, eastern Gironde and Dordogne, Villa Baleyssagues provides a superb base. It commands a beautiful panoramic view of the open countryside in all directions, which includes the extraordinary Château de Duras, itself an unmissable example of national, regional and local dedication to conservation of cultural heritage. Celebrated names like Saint Emilion, Bergerac, Sarlat-la-Canéda and Bordeaux, itself, also feature in a list of must-see’s offering a variety of attractions for every taste – and all within manageable reach. (Speaking of taste, do not miss le Pain de maïs at the boulangerie in Duras. It is to die for, easy to cut into toast-able slices and retains its moistness for a week.) (Frederic will vouch for this.) We cannot praise the villa without including its Property Manager, Frederic Guiraud, most welcoming and helpful and always available at request on short notice. His welcome pack is the most thoughtful and generous we have ever encountered over many years of villa rentals in France. He has managed to compile a bound guide book featuring excellent introductions and practical visitor information on a multitude of towns and notable sites throughout the region. It obviously reflects considerable work and must be the most comprehensive visitor guide we have experienced anywhere. As for the villa, itself, it does justice to all the pictures you will have seen in the property listing. We found it impeccably clean and in excellent repair. We thoroughly enjoyed eating outside on the terraces, luxuriating and playing in and by the pool and feasting on the views, especially in the evenings after a busy day of touring. The beautifully tuned piano must also be mentioned for those who enjoy playing on a fine instrument or just gently tinkling for leisurely entertainment.
A fitting venue to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our four children, their husbands and wives and our grandchildren! Memories that will remain for years. Well provided for, comfortable and panoramic views -with a week of excellent weather! Thank you and your staff!
Beautiful and charming villa surrounded by greenery with pool and view. A really great villa in a nice area. The view with Cannes in the distance is very nice. The villa has five bedrooms, each with its own modern bathroom and toilet. Great is also the terrace with a large table and chairs and a gas barbecue. The accommodation is on two floors and therefore also has two living rooms, each with a fireplace. The garden and the heated pool complete the whole very nicely. The kitchen with two fridges, stove, microwave and dishwasher has nothing to miss. Everything was available on crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, cups and glasses in sufficient quantity. A carport, too. A very big plus is the hostess and her caretaker. Both are very friendly and helpful. Communication has also worked wonderfully. I would also like to thank you here for the absolute kindness to bring a delicious birthday cake to my mother. Very thoughtful.
We spent a fantastic week at Villa Bellara in September, as a family group of three couples. I agree with all the favourable comments about this property: the villa has an amazing amount of space; the location is quiet, but an easy walk to a good supermarket; the train station is conveniently close and made trips to Nice and Monaco really easy without a car. The walk up to Haut de Cagnes was steep but very worthwhile! The kitchen is extremely well equipped for enjoyable cooking followed by eating out on the terrace. The villa is immaculately maintained and we loved the heated pool. Jean Luc is a great host – very welcoming and happy to assist with any queries.

We had a superb 11 day stay in Fitou. Everything was as expected when we arrived - the property has everything you would expect and more when travelling with young children - in our case a 10 month old as well as 2½ year old twins. The car beds were a huge hit with the twins! The village of Fitou is also really nice - there are over 10 wines caves selling high quality local Fitou. There are also some excellent restaurants - would recommend Vidals if you are taking the kids. Outside of Fitou, Perpignan, Narbonne and Carcassonne are all realistic day trip options and the resort of Leucate is also good for a more traditional seaside ambience.
