This has been the time of our lives! The house is everything you could dream of - and then some.
We have spent a great holiday at the property and we are sure we will be back for future holidays.
First of all, we wanted to thank you for your warmth. First the nice contact with you and then the surprise with the welcome pack. The house and the pool were also great. We wanted for nothing, thanks to the top facilities. We had a wonderful and relaxing time here in Fleury. Many thanks for this.
Beautiful property, amazing area, just perfect for the most fantastic holiday! Renovation has been exquisitely carried out and we will most definitely be back. Matthew was a fantastic manager. Don’t want to go home!
Beautiful setting, fantastic space. Well kept both inside and out. Facilities were fantastic. Great pool - child friendly and garden toys were a perfect addition too. Lovely family holiday enjoyed by all ages.
We all really enjoyed staying at your villa for our holiday and exploring the region. Many thanks for the great preparation and presentation of the villa which made our stay most welcoming. We've rented a lot of other villa, châteaux and domaines, but this one was the best! The six ensuite bedrooms were all the same size and had the same amenities so none of the six couples had a less than optimal room as we've experienced in other rentals. The two on-site staff were wonderful and spoke perfect English (they're Irish so not a surprise). The location in Burgundy was perfect for day trips. If you book this rental, you'll be delighted!
You do have a little piece of heaven carved out here - we enjoyed it all.
Everything about this stay was perfect! The location (in a small village which boasts a lovely hotel / bar / restaurant, a shop in which you can buy all you need, local wine producers and an organic butchers lorry visiting twice a week) to close proximity to beautiful walking routes and access to nearby towns with great markets, to the house itself which is the epitome of Provence living. Comfortable, thoughtfully restored and furnished and with every amenity you could wish for. The outside areas are great too - a beautiful pool area and several eating / barbecue and relaxation areas to take advantage of the sun or shade as you need. Perfect for large family gatherings as all the rooms are en suit and private except one which has an adjoining room perfect for those with young children although it still has 2 bathrooms! The house and grounds are looked after by a lovely couple who are on hand to help if needed with taxi's advice etc. We will be back!

Perfect for large families Amazing property, well equipped for large groups and space for all to spend time together or escape each other! Great pool and pool area. Great having so many bedrooms and bathrooms when holidaying with extended family and lots of kids! Wonderful manager on hand to answer any questions and offer recommendations. Will definitely return!
The weather has been great so spent most of our time in the pool and on the sun loungers. We loved visiting the towns and villages nearby and particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries every morning! Thank you for the great holiday we had in this great villa and a holiday we will never forget, and a holiday we loved every minute of. We all will be very, very sad to be leaving! Merci!
Thank you so much for a much needed relaxing week in your beautiful home! We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here, especially time spent in the beautiful garden where we enjoyed the wonderful weather and had lots of fun - very enjoyable for my 5 year old! Every year, you have wonderful surprises in store for us: a new room furnished with unparalleled care and originality, a garden that is transformed, a vegetable garden that offers us seasonal vegetables of exceptional quality. And what can we say about the memorable adventures we experienced, as well as the breathtaking view of Provence and the majestic Pont du Gard during our breakfasts. Your house is lovely and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable week. I think I can safely say that in all the years of hiring holiday accommodation in France we have not stayed in such a well appointed and well equipped property. Loved the location and the winding lane down to the property. Arrived to find a hidden and very private garden that was wonderfully lit at night and with a beautiful pool. Total silence and never saw or heard another person in the week we were there. If you’re looking for a quiet week away from the hassles of a hectic world, then this is the place for you!
The house is amazing. You feel at home on holiday. The house is decorated with care and well kept. The pool is great and very clean. It's the third time we visit the house and we will return again. Thanks to the nice owner. The best time of the year.
We had a great stay at Maison du Gua over Easter. The weather was a real surprise (I had packed wellies and jumpers) but it was lovely. Sunny and warm enough for us all to enjoy the great swimming pool and lunch outside everyday. There were three generations staying (10 people) and we all had plenty of room to relax. Our three children (1, 3, 6) enjoyed the huge selection of quality toys, both indoors and provided for the garden. The baby loved the baby swing and his mum enjoyed the huge list of baby extras Mel provided, that made packing so much easier. Mel and Jim are very helpful and quick to respond with anything you need. Our thanks to to the lovely Elodie for making our stay so pleasant.
Another lovely holiday spent in this area. The house was all we needed, just as the photos and descriptions had shown. The standard of the house and grounds were fantastic. Often in France the pools may be a little walk away from the house/outdoor living areas but this was a fantastic layout for all to enjoy all day and evening. The pool was the best part, fantastic condition and provided hours of fun for kids and adults alike as did the games room. The house was very spacious and all facilities/equipment provided were ideal. The little walk into the village across the fields for our morning bread and cakes and the close proximity to Duras and Eymet (the towns we enjoy visiting) meant this was a great location.
We all thank you for a beautiful holiday spent in your fantastic house. Breakfast in the garden, peace and wonderful flowers - that is what we will always remember. And maybe... we will return someday.
Thank you for a lovely week at the very beautiful Le Chambarru. We have all been able to relax and enjoy the peace, the wonderful views and even the spectacular thunderstorms in the evenings! A week is not long enough sadly.
We absolutely loved Maison de la Calade. A beautiful villa in a gorgeous location with stunning views. Five stars from us. Beautifully decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean (We met the cleaning girls upon arrival who were lovely and welcoming and very helpful) very well stocked in terms of everything you need. We had a mixture of ages and there was something for everyone, room to socialise if we wanted to but plenty of nooks to escape to. The gorgeous sized pool In the lovely garden grounds was a huge hit in the August heat. Biot although up a hill is only a stones throw away and has lots of great restaurants - we'd love to come back one day.
We are back home safely again after our enjoyable trip to France. And of course the best part was our stay in your lovely house. It is the best rental accommodation we have been in because of the feeling that we were in a real home - it is beautifully decorated with such attention to detail. There wasn’t anything that you didn’t provide in every room and such an amazing amount of activities to keep everyone amused. We re just sad that the grandchildren weren’t with us as they would have loved the pool and garden. We sent videos of the games room with the train track set up as my grandson has one at home!
We had a wonderful holiday here, the garden and swimming pool area is a real gem and the surroundings are beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the markets in Nyons and Vaison la romaine, the Roman ruins in Vaison and Sault and the cave paintings at Chauvet-pont d’acr are astonishing, we also enjoyed the local wines, it was very special drinking Audrey Latards wonderful wines knowing they are from the vines at the end of the garden, Thank you.
Beautiful property in a stunning location. Set in a wonderful place. The owners are such lovely hosts always attentive and very helpful. They are doing a great job at lovingly restoring these properties with beautiful touches. We loved out time in the Lot, thank you so much.
Villa everything and more! fantastic villa, pool and table tennis great fun! Pézenas lovely 15 - 20 minutes easy walk! Lots of great restaurants. Beach between Sète and Agde very good and not too many people.
The accommodation is tastefully decorated and very charming with personal touches.Thanks to Gaëlle and Etienne for their kindness. The rooms each have their colour theme which are all very large and bright. The accommodation is very well equipped. To summarise a magnificent accommodation where you feel good!
