We have at last found paradise in a place we could all share. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, peaceful house. The countryside for early morning sun, endless swim day and night. The bird watching and the lazing in the shade. We had great fun wine tasting locally and having been blessed with stunning weather we have had long al fresco meal every day. I think we have made the most of all the games and puzzles inside and out and no TV! À bientôt!
Fantastic garden, lovely clean and warm swimming pool. The house is presented very well.
We have spent an excellent stay at this lovely villa, decorated with good state. The owner is charming. Generally, the house is very functional. However, the villa is for a maximum of 4 and not designed for more. Close to Pézenas, lovely town to go out. I heartily recommend this house.
Couldn't have asked for more from La Barde or its owner. La Barde was tranquil, comfortable and had everything you would need for a family holiday. The kitchen was so well equipped, it was amazing, the bedrooms were spacious and beds comfy. Everywhere was decorated beautifully and furnished thoughtfully. There was so much space throughout the house and gardens that even as a large family you would be able to find a quiet spot for some peace. The pool had a great shallow area for the toddlers, the garden was great for exploring. We will be returning next year without a doubt! Thank you!

An incredibly magical week in this very special home. With such a large (chaotic!) group it was wonderful to have so much space that the energetic children had so much to keep them busy and even allowed the adults to feel like they had R and R! Very much hoping to be able to come back and explore more as we enjoyed it immensely!
The perfect holiday home. Beautifully furnished with a huge pool, deck and garden. It's spacious and airy and perfectly situated for a family holiday. Homps is a charming little town within easy reach of Carcassonne and Narbonne. We loved the pizzeria next door and the corner shop on the quayside selling fresh bread daily. We can't wait to go back!
Beautiful house - everything you could possibly need for a totally carefree and relaxing holiday. We loved it so much here we only ventured away from the property for 2 half days. We would love to return! A huge thank you to Gary and Louise for managing the property so well and giving expert local knowledge.
We absolutely loved being here. The home you’ve created is a beautiful entity, with such thought at every turn, and the surrounding gardens have a tremendous sense of peace. Thank you for all the well-planned details, and the delicious tart that awaited us (and therefore an introduction to the most incredible boulangerie!). We’ve had such a fabulous week in this beautiful farmhouse. It’s very difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool, tennis court and, for some of us, the gym. The location – we thoroughly enjoyed the markets, Chinon and the woods – as well as the beautiful piano and luxuries of the house, have made this a truly memorable week for us with our grown-up children and their friends. Thank you all.
We have just returned home from a magical week at the château - 16 family members of 4 generations came together to celebrate the Diamond Wedding anniversary of our wonderful parents, Jean and Dave and what could be more fitting than a beautiful château set in stunning surroundings. This was our second visit to the château, our first being to celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary a decade ago! The new owners Richard and Nicky were delightful and catered to pretty much our every whim! The château has so much to do, from lazy days around the beautiful pool, a well equipped gym/games room with excellent gym equipment, darts, bikes, pool, badminton, tennis, table tennis, table football and even an outdoor golf game there is no time to get bored!! There is plenty to do in the local area too such as canoeing, boat trips, historical towns, markets and châteaux plus plenty of supermarkets close by for provisions. There were no shortage of wonderful settings to enjoy our family mealtimes together and we opted for catered meals by the wonderful catering team, @Le Quercy Kitchen, run by lovely Jill and her daughter Georgina – we could not fault a single morsel of the delicious food that they prepared for us each evening and they looked after us superbly! Overall an excellent week, would highly recommend!
We have had a very relaxing and restful week here, with perfect weather. We loved the pool, playing table tennis and darts. The house has everything you could need and we have enjoyed having so much space inside and out! The surrounding area has lots to offer – Chauvigny is beautiful (we recommend The VeloRail) and we spent a wonderful afternoon kayaking at Angles sur L’Anglin.
Two splendid weeks relaxing and sight seeing with a very beautiful home to come back too. We can't fault the house, we especially loved the kitchen, pool room, swimming pool and of course the marvellous views.
What a fantastic stay in a fantastic house, all the amenities you could wish for and more. We’ve enjoyed the pool, table tennis tournaments, playing pool and lounging under the fig trees. The market in Nyons on a Thursday was amazing, we visited St Paul trois châteaux, Seguret and many other places. The house exceeded our expectations and the Drome, Provence is beautiful , we will be back and thank you for creating such a haven for everyone to experience and enjoy.

We had a lovely week enjoying the beautiful house and pool and breakfast and barbecues outside. We had highly variable weather but that enabled us to discover Périgueux and Saint-Émilion. We highly recommend Aubeterre and the bar Brasserie in Verteillac Le Calice. Many thanks.
This is the third visit to the Villa - it's beginning to feel like home! Another wonderful stay- we had great time yet again and sorry to leave the peace and tranquility behind. We have had a wonderful week at Château du Pic de Rigaud and enjoyed every minute! The weather has got better and better and we've had perfect days by the pool. The château has been incredibly comfortable and provided everything we needed. We have enjoyed exploring Najac including the Wednesday evening market. Thank you to Henrietta and Peter for all your help and bookings. We will miss this wonderful house and grounds and our morning walks to the Boulangerie. We hope to return.
Thank you for a fabulous holiday! You have a beautiful, well-appointed villa with all mod cons and loads of fun distractions to occupy the younger members of the family - pétanque, pool, table tennis, croquet, swimming and baby foot. The weather was unremittingly hot but your beautifully air-conditioned house provided welcome respite. We would strongly recommend this to our friends.

We would love to come back again x We have had an amazing week here at Maison La Pérouse. Oscar and Olive have both loved exploring the garden. Oscar has particularly enjoyed playing hide and seek in the wood, doing tricks on the trampoline and spotting fish in the pond. Perfect villa, lovely hosts and amazing view. Wow, this villa is just perfect in every way! It's beautiful, peaceful, clean and is very close to Saint-Paul-de-Vence which is gorgeous. The owners were so lovely to us, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The whole week felt so luxurious and comfortable and the pool was devine! We will almost definitely be returning here as we had a fantastic week. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt so relaxed and cared for! I cannot express the lovely week we just had in this villa, everything was simply perfect! Thanks again for such a fantastic holiday and hope to return again soon!
Expect a warm welcome from friendly and helpful owners, Nicky and Richard to the lovey château. Beautifully located among vine covered fields and wooded hills, we'd enjoyed the peace, the views, the wonderful pool and the space. The château is not far from some pretty villages dotted around the River Lot and Cahors is only 25 minutes away. Plenty to do and see in the area, with the opportunity to return back to our holiday oasis where we could barbecue and relax or play a round of golf on site in their vast grounds. Loved it.
