A beautiful maintained property, tastefully decorated and providing excellent facilities, both inside and out. It has commanding views of the countryside and the grounds are delightful with a large pool. It has the added bonus of a pool house which offers opportunities to relax, eat and cook outside of the main house. There is also a lovely shady BBQ area. It makes an ideal place for families to enjoy holidays together and our grandchildren loved it. The on-site guardian and his wife are always on hand to give any help needed. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and we hope to return.
Exceptional house in an exceptional setting! The house is ideally located, away from the tourist crowds with magnificent hikes nearby but close enough to Apt for basic needs. The house is as pleasant indoors in bad weather as it is outdoors the rest of the time. The kitchen is very well equipped. The host was available before the stay to advise us on all logistical aspects. An on-site contact was also made during the stay.
Having stayed at your property, we would like to thank you for the nice holiday we had. The house, the organisation, all was perfect. Also Gary and Louise, fantastic persons, very friendly and helpful. Long time since I experienced such a perfect service from A to Z.
The Garden Cottage is a lovely place to stay in a beautiful area. It is newly refurbished and has a very classic country feel inside. Gorgeous furnishings and all the facilities that you need for a self-catering stay. The bathrooms are great. The mattresses are firm but the bedrooms are comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need, we never felt the need for anything that wasn't to hand. The hosts are very welcoming and have the right balance of checking in and leaving you to it (they live next door). They were able to tell us about local restaurants and must-visit places which was really handy. The pool is very nice, clean and very large for the size of the property. The village is lovely and Montignac is only a few minutes by car, this is a good-sized town with banks and a supermarket. Would recommend!
Le Malardier is delightful. It is so much more than just a holiday home. Every room makes you want to step inside. The house has been so sympathetically restored and is quite clearly a labour of love. Richard and Gay were also the perfect hosts and couldn't have done more to welcome us. If your thinking of booking a week or two at Malardier, do it. You won't be disappointed.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable family gathering at Le Presbytère. It is a beautiful, atmospheric, ancient house set in large grounds. A great place for peace and rest or equally perfect for a gathering of friends or family. We found it so relaxing to sit around in the garden or at the poolside and there is lots of safe space for the kids to play (table tennis, boules and of course the pool were great successes). The house is amazing - such a sense of history and unusual features like old tiles, fireplaces and a lovely old oak beam running across the upstairs landing. It's very roomy so, even if you are staying with a group, it never feels crowded. The surrounding area has lots of great restaurants and fresh produce from the markets. There is excellent cycling and walking around the network of country roads and footpaths. Also the various bastides (12th century fortified towns) are really fascinating. We loved Bonaguil, Monflanquin and Vilareal but there are so many to choose from and they all have their own character. It's also less than an hour to the Dordogne. We had such a great, relaxing and enjoyable time at Le Presbytère and we hope to return in the future. Thank you so much for an unforgettable holiday.
We have spend a wonderful holiday at the villa. The villa is ideal, spacious and nicely decorated. The children loved the pool and the table tennis table! It is an ideal base to visit the region. The market in Pézenas should not be missed. We have driven a boat, ridden horses and hired bikes in Marseillan and seen flamingoes! Dream holiday. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. A wonderful 2 weeks for 8 adults and 7 grandchildren in a most beautiful château. Extremely well looked after by Robert and his team.
Expect a warm welcome from friendly and helpful owners, Nicky and Richard to the lovey château. Beautifully located among vine covered fields and wooded hills, we'd enjoyed the peace, the views, the wonderful pool and the space. The château is not far from some pretty villages dotted around the River Lot and Cahors is only 25 minutes away. Plenty to do and see in the area, with the opportunity to return back to our holiday oasis where we could barbecue and relax or play a round of golf on site in their vast grounds. Loved it.
We have had aan amazing 2 weeks here. Honestly this house is gorgeous. The sunsets here are like no others. Would recommend visiting local wine producers, cycling through the vineyards and generally exploring the local area. We also visited a bunch of markets up in the mountains and went to watch the Bastille day fireworks. Would love to come back soon!
Extremely comfortable and stylish accommodation in renovated old buildings. Beautiful pool area a short walk from self-catering accommodation. Very quiet, perfect for families and couples. A short walk to Montsoreau for morning baguette and a small grocery. This place has everything; comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi and kitchen facilities. Great location in the Loire Valley for sightseeing or relaxing beside the pool.

A great family gîte with loads of space for us all. We had some great walks around here, the gorge, Orpierre and Rosans. Also managed to fit in time lazing around the pool, sunbathing and reading. Perfect holiday! Hope to be back...

We found the holy trinity of travel in our first trip to the Dordogne in as much as our stay provided the perfect property, superb hosts and a wonderful location. Owners have renovated the property wonderfully by melding traditional Dordogne architecture with contemporary interior design that maintains the character of the property but also provides modern comforts. The location of the cottage combines a secluded rural position with easy access (5 minutes walk) to Thonac's 2 restaurants, shop and hotel bar. Similarly the main road through Thonac takes you through the picturesque Vezere valley with Montignac and our favourite Saint Leon only a few minutes drive. Médiéval Sarlat, Beynac and Domme are slightly further afield but still an easy journey. Caves to canoeing, troglodytes to trekking and food and drink aplenty are all easily accessible from Thonac and you really can make any sort of holiday from this property. C'est magnifique!

Many thanks for a great family holiday in a wonderful setting. La Ferme Éclaircie is great and proved perfect for our family. We especially enjoyed cooling off in the fantastic pool. The area and scenery are great also and we recommend the prune festival in Agen! We would love to come back.
We stayed at Maison La Civade as a party of 4 adults and 5 children aged 9 to 16 and the family dog. We had plenty of space in the house and the owners were very helpful in adding beds where we wanted them. The house itself is beautiful and the new kitchen is a fantastic focal point. The house was clean and extremely well equipped with great attention to detail. The gardens were extensive and very well kept as well as being fully enclosed so we had no worries about the dog! The pool is huge and kept beautifully. We made great use of the pool house with its shower, fridge and plenty of plastic glasses for refreshments. The house is well appointed in peaceful, secluded surroundings but still close to supermarkets and towns . We had a choice of several outside eating areas for all our alfresco lunches and evening BBQs. The owners, agents and maintenance staff couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. We had thoroughly relaxing holiday and have already recommended Guibaudie to friends!
A memorable week in Les Trois Maisons de Valescure. Our host Thomas was very caring and attentive. Very good services (top bedding and cleanliness, nothing to complain about. A pleasant break in a magnificent and relaxing place. Thank you very much for the welcome and your kindness. We will come back with pleasure!
We came for the birthday of my mam together the rest of the family. The house is very comfortable and relaxed, we could even use the chimney. We've welcomed by Frédéric and its great flower arrangements. We had a fantastic week. The pool was great, lots of space in the house. Petra, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful house with us.

We had an unforgettable summer stay, gathering with family and friends to celebrate a 50th birthday in true style. The setting and ambiance of the spacious house and the warm hospitality that it offers guests, are truly amazing. A great place to improvise, play and enjoy music! Without a doubt, we'll be back.
Had an amazing time with the family at this beautiful château. Tucked away among adorable little villages, a slice of pure tranquility. It's a place where everything is beautiful and well taken care of. And the pool an absolute gem, a spot where you can relax and soak in the stunning scenery. We loved the laid-back vibe while still things were top-notch in terms of comfort and charm.
Château Mézard really is as lovely as it is depicted on the website! It was a magical place for a holiday. The house and grounds were amazing, the set-up of the house provides great privacy even for a large group. Exploring the surrounding countryside, towns and cities provided the perfect French country get away. Returning to the amazing luxury of the château for a dinner on the terrace or a swim in the pool was the highlight of each day.
Saint-Sulpice surpassed all our expectations and your eye for detail in all areas was truly impressive. The surrounding area is beautiful too, but your house made our holiday and was very hard to leave. I think we will all be raving about it for a long time to come, as it is the nicest and most comfortable holiday home we have stayed in. Most importantly, it was a pleasure to meet you both and you were wonderful hosts. We wish you all the very best and Saint-Sulpice is sure to be highly successful. We hope to return too and stay longer next time.
