Fantastic barn conversion, amazing location and wonderful facilities including a large swimming pool. Would highly recommend. The owner was super helpful throughout. The local villages have all the shops and services needed. We loved the rolling hills for jogging.

Many thanks for the gift of your time accompanying us to the winery Les Jamelles and the beautiful gift of wine as well. We all enjoyed the beautiful decorations inside the château - unique wall-papers and luxurious sheets, etc. Being surrounded by the vineyards and gardens and beautiful swimming pool added to the rich ambience.

Fresh pastries in the morning, you have gone above and beyond - and that, combined with the comforts and surroundings of the villa, is what has made this holiday so special. We all loved the comfort of the beds and quality of the linen, the faultless hot water supply and how clean the pool was. This villa really works, allowing us to have a stress-free holiday! So many happy memories made. We hope to be back with a new arrival in tow - but for now, au revoir and merci beaucoup.

We had the most amazing stay with some friends in Château Entre-Deux-Mers. I was delighted by the charm of this château. The exterior is traditional. There is a lovely garden with swimming pool. We have some good memories taking an appetizer in the evenings outside! The rooms were spacious and decorated with a superb taste. But most of all : it's situated in the middle of vineyards; so great to do some cycling (bikes are available). So we can certainly recommend this place!
Château Mézard is a stunning property and certainly set the backdrop for a very memorable family holiday. I can clearly see why you previously spoke so fondly of the château. The holiday was intended as a special celebration with close family. As such we were mixed in our ages and interests but the château provided the perfect setting to cater for all of our interests, from the little ones down to the adults amongst us. The children had tremendous fun in and around the pool. I personally took great pleasure in strolling around the beautiful grounds and taking in some of the breathtaking scenery. Laurent, Didier and Rachel did their upmost to ensure that we had a wonderful time and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Our second stay at 'Mel's place', the first was in 2012. Returned with 2 more grand children and a grand son's girlfriend. Have stayed in many houses over the years - this is by far the best. Brilliant pool for everyone, loads of space for the children to play and a secret garden if you want to get away from it. We didn't go far - we just enjoyed the opportunity for us all to get together for a relaxing holiday. Also there is so much equipment and toys for the children - Mel's thought of everything, an excellent host.
Perfect stay. A very high quality renovation where stone blends with wood and contemporary furniture. A huge and ideal porch for dinner, barbecue and admire the countryside and hillsides on one side and a pool enchanted in this "Provencal farmhouse" on the other. Very high quality amenities and bedding. The sober and neat decoration with touches of contemporary art ensures a soothing balance and conducive to rest. A spacious cathedral living room with a stunning solid wood table. Here and there, small details in the amenities and decor (a special mention in the toilet of the master suite, I'll let you discover it). In addition, Christophe is very friendly and very attentive to his hosts. In short, this stay in the countryside between two seas delighted us all.
Magnificent property, super equipped, very large swimming pool at a perfect temperature, exceptional grounds, tennis court in perfect condition, well-appointed and comfortable common areas... Hard to beat for a family vacation! The place is perfect for children and less young people... Very clean, comfortable, very pleasant, excellent communication with the owners. The best!
We have had a very enjoyable fortnight in your beautiful house and gardens, despite the unfriendly weather. We go home feeling very relaxed. We enjoyed days out in Chinon, Fontevraud and several of the other places mentioned by others. Thank you for your hospitality, the wine, jam and bubbles. Hope you enjoyed Italy.
What a wonderful week. La Malardier is the most dreamy of places to stay. We ate top dollar food, swam in the pool in stonking sunshine, drank our fill. Amazing setting. Beautiful view. We will remember this week forever more. We would like to block book Malardier forever, until next year - viva la France.
Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home, it was the perfect place to spend our 30th anniversary! The views are amazing, village charming and the pool well used. Thank you also for the cold meats, cheeses and wine on our arrival, a really welcoming touch. We would definitely recommend a day kayaking to Pont du Gard, a really good way to spend the day, hats, suncream and picnic a must. Again, a very big thank you, we would love to return one day.

We (4 adults - 2 generations) spent a fantastic week in this super gîte. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. Outside, in the very large garden, was the lovely pool which was cleaned daily. The outside kitchen was lovely for BBQ's. There were also lots of seating areas, shaded and sunny, we were spoilt for choice. We walked to the bakery in the morning as the gîte is close to the village. The lovely owners were welcoming and helpful. Happy to recommend.

Beautiful, very well kept and maintained. Amazing for kids Stunning pool and poolside, children's toy room was perfect for boys and girls, a great range of toys. All extra bedding, baby products etc; great. Fab daily service, friendly. Great local advice. Very easy, relaxing process. We were not too familiar with the region, but since we live in a highly fast-paced city, we knew we wanted a tranquil and somewhat less-touristy vacation spot surrounded by nature. Through an amazing agency, we were able to lease the cottage for two weeks in late August and had an amazing time there. The property dates back to 1750 and is fully well-renovated - every detail has been taken into consideration so one is able to enjoy the experience of staying in an authentic French country house, but with modern amenities that enhance the original character of the property, rather than detract from it. The town and the people are very charming and there are restaurants, cafés, a grocery store, shops, butcher shops, etc. and an excellent choice of patisseries and boulangeries, which my husband happily frequented every morning in order to bring back fresh breakfast goodies! There is a weekly market in the town square, just a 5-minute drive from the house selling amazing produce and other artisanal delights! The town is within a comfortable drive from beautiful sites in neighboring Beynac, Sarlat and Bergerac, not counting other small picturesque places you find on the way. And if you haven't done much research, fret not because the owners of the home have compiled quite an impressive binder of information with all of the popular attractions and must-see places in the area. I do not over-exaggerate when I say the house is extremely well-equipped as if it were our own home! When we were not out sightseeing during the morning, we were downstairs preparing food in the kitchen, which may seem small in the photos, but it is spacious and the layout is wonderful - the oven and stove are ideal for seasoned cooks, there is a full-size dishwasher and tons of pots, pans, utensils, gadgets and appliances - all in superb condition, so we wanted for nothing. Overall, we had an excellent stay at Maison Bourg Cales, which I would highly recommend to anyone in search of an idyllic, quiet getaway in the beautiful French countryside.

We had the most wonderful stay at the property. The garden is beautiful and the swimming pool amazing. Inside everything set up for comfortable stay for all - kids loved the hammocks! Thank you for making it so welcoming. I hope that we will be back very soon.
Sam's place was what we were looking for for a family with kids of 12 and 10 respectively. Accessibility of the Lot Valley and Dordogne meant there were plenty of options for outings and facilities to be explored and enjoyed for adults and kids alike. Very local night markets were also a highlight of our stay. The property was very well equipped with indoor games and with equipment to enjoy the outdoor spaces. It is exceedingly quiet and peaceful with few cars passing by which makes for a very relaxing and restful environment for time spent at the property. We left feeling very well refreshed.
