Thank you for being wonderful hosts. It has been a joy to stay at the Loft and to explore a little of the region. Excited to be thinking of returning in the future when the weather is cooler. Our arrival was so welcoming and you provide such a generous hamper for our first night - thank you We particularly enjoyed exploring Rieux with its château, church and watching the wine harvest. Good luck with your new venture next door - an absolutely stunning house - thank you for showing us around.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maison Estephe and thought the village and surrounding area was one of the nicest places we have been in France. We have over the years been to almost every department in France but never to Pézenas. In fact we liked it so much we are considering a move from The Limousin to the Pézenas area. The house was charming and very comfortable indeed.
Magnificent property, super equipped, very large swimming pool at a perfect temperature, exceptional grounds, tennis court in perfect condition, well-appointed and comfortable common areas... Hard to beat for a family vacation! The place is perfect for children and less young people... Very clean, comfortable, very pleasant, excellent communication with the owners. The best!
We had a fantastic 5 days at the lovely apartment. The location was wonderful being 30 seconds from the beach and also having access to the roof top pool (in an adjacent building). There was easy access to a train line (20 minutes flat walk) or bus lines. A supermarket with a 5 minute walk was a bonus. For eating out there were lots of choices with a 10 minute walk offering a range of different choices. The view from the apartment was lovely with a view across the bay towards Nice. The apartment was everything we wanted. Beach activities were plenty from jet skiing, sailing to snorkelling etc.
Villa Genêts is a beautiful villa close to the village of Magagnosc . It has a lovely outdoor dining area which has amazing panoramic views of the Bay of Cannes, perfect for alfresco dining and enjoying the local wines. The house combines both elegance and comfort with a fabulous swimming pool. The pool has loungers for basking in the sun and has a seating area and outside bar ideal for pre-dinner sunset drinks. The house is close to Grasse and is in a superb location for exploring the delights of Provence, with easy access to the coast but also provides an escape from it all.

We loved our stay at Camirout. Beautiful setting, comfortable house, great swimming pool! We are going home completely zen and relaxed.
My extended family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The house itself is a magnificent old stone building, which has been decorated in a very elegant manner. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and we very much appreciated the coffee machine. Younger family members enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. Being an old house, it does have some quirks, but these are very much outweighed by the charm and grandeur of the rooms and outdoor areas. The location is scenic and peaceful - but within reasonable driving distance of area attractions such as Lascaux and villages along the Dordogne. The local village is lovely, with a handy small supermarket, great boulangerie and several restaurants. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
What an amazing 2 weeks, it went far too quick. The most perfect accommodation. Scenery, weather, could not fault anything. Amazing days out at the Aquaparc in Castelnaudary (excellent value for money). Villeneuve-sur-Lot is worth a visit for some shopping and excellent food at Terminus de la Cale with amazing views of the river. Lacapelle night market is a great experience (try and get there by 5:30pm for parking). Go karting at K47 near Agen is perfect if the weather is a bit mixed. Otherwise just relax at the house. We definitely hope to be back.
We were with the family, the house is perfect for that. The bedding of the beds are recent and comfortable. Nothing was missing for our comfort. Fans in every room. Everything was very clean. The house is gigantic but the real plus is the garden and the pool! Large grassy area to play ball, petanque, ping-pong table, vegetable garden... and the huge swimming pool. Many deckchairs and garden armchairs, barbeque, plancha, shade in short all is perfect! Eva and her adorable friend, do not hesitate to ask her for a good address for a restaurant! I recommend.
I just wanted to say what a great time we had on our recent visit to Maison Des Communes, Philippe and Federica were wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. The house in a tranquil location was perfect for a very relaxing get away from it all.
Thank you so much for letting us stay. It's been absolutely incredible, from wine tasting to taking walks with my husband. I genuinely cannot wait to come back. (hopefully soon)!
We have just returned home from a magical week at the château - 16 family members of 4 generations came together to celebrate the Diamond Wedding anniversary of our wonderful parents, Jean and Dave and what could be more fitting than a beautiful château set in stunning surroundings. This was our second visit to the château, our first being to celebrate their Golden Wedding anniversary a decade ago! The new owners Richard and Nicky were delightful and catered to pretty much our every whim! The château has so much to do, from lazy days around the beautiful pool, a well equipped gym/games room with excellent gym equipment, darts, bikes, pool, badminton, tennis, table tennis, table football and even an outdoor golf game there is no time to get bored!! There is plenty to do in the local area too such as canoeing, boat trips, historical towns, markets and châteaux plus plenty of supermarkets close by for provisions. There were no shortage of wonderful settings to enjoy our family mealtimes together and we opted for catered meals by the wonderful catering team, @Le Quercy Kitchen, run by lovely Jill and her daughter Georgina – we could not fault a single morsel of the delicious food that they prepared for us each evening and they looked after us superbly! Overall an excellent week, would highly recommend!
Three generations of our family enjoyed our stay in Helen's lovely, spacious, well equipped house with its beautiful garden, pool, boules court, summer kitchen and vue du château! Plenty of space, outside and in, as the heat allowed. The cooler basement provided table tennis, gym equipment and jigsaws, all completed during the extreme heat! Location was great for canyoning (Héric), kyaking (Orb), river swimming (Reals), karting (nr. Laurens), scuba diving (Montpellier), painting classes (Pouzolles) etc. Great local restaurants and bars (Roujan, Gabian) and small domaine wines to discover. The large Super U in Roujan has an excellent adjoining boulangerie/patisserie, open Sunday mornings too. Nothing lacking for a brilliant holiday!

What an amazing chateau you have, breathtaking; everything that we needed and more. We have enjoyed 1 wonderful week, wish it could have been more. Julie, Paul and Steven - you have been fantastic, always on hand for advice and support and ideas. Especially enjoyed our ‘feast’ in the Dining Room celebrating Alan’s 70th birthday with laughter and some lovely memories that will stay with us all forever. This was our first holiday with our girls aged 2 years and 9 months. They had an amazing time! What a welcoming, beautiful place this is. Thank you so much for opening your home for us to share. It was the perfect place for our extended family to be together. Thank you for this fabulous experience.
This place is fantastic, so much space to explore. the house is very clean and the rooms are big. Château du Mas has everything you need. Storage for clothes, fans to keep you cool and big clean beds. The kitchen is very clean and has a big fridge and freezer. Utensils, pots and pans. The oven is top of the range. The owner was very helpful and not intrusive and very friendly. I had a fantastic time here and definitely come again. I would recommend Château du Mas to anyone who wants to visit.
We have returned! Even more enjoyable this year, weather and pool fantastic. The villa is close to perfect.
We had a lovely stay at the property. Everything was as expected and more. The owners, Benedict and Pierre Balteau were very friendly and welcoming. Amazing holiday location! Great views of a peaceful quaint little village in south of France, and don't even need to get out of the pool. Everything you need is provided by the host, excellent quality of service for the price. Great variety of excursions possible in the area, be it sporty, cultural or plain shopping and farniente! Looking forward to coming back again as soon as possible!!!
A wonderful week spent at this wonderful villa. Had a lovely time visiting Château de Monbazillac, Montcaret and Bordeaux. We all have had a fantastic time in the swimming pool. The children didn't want to get out! Thank you to Frédéric for a warm welcome on our arrival. We would love to stay again.

A wonderful resting place We have rented this home for 17 years in a row. If that is not an endorsement I do not not know what is. It is charming and comfortable. The location is superb, close to towns and cities but in a quiet town itself. The pool is our haven after long travel days and the kitchen has all we desire for meals (usually simple ones given the fresh food that is readily available at local markets and the excellent Bistrot du Paradou located up the road - also highly recommended). Peter provides an excellent guide to everything that is around and it is very useful for the new arriviste in the neighborhood. Enjoy.
We had an absolutely lovely fortnight at Château Monjardin. Faultless. Please could you pass on our especial thanks to Colin and Sue. They could not have been kinder or more generous. I miss it already and will be sure to return, perhaps next year. All our very best regards.
We have been lucky enough to stay at Château Trieux a number of times and what a truly magical place it is! From the moment you approach the house, through fields of sunflowers, you feel transported into your dream holiday. Whatever your thing is - be it relaxing by the pool, playing tennis or just sitting by the river under the shade of the trees contemplating life - Château Trieux has it all. A visit to the market at Monflanquin is a must or enjoy a relaxing kayak along the river. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We will be back!
What a beautiful place. We were really happy to have some rest there. Your house is wonderful and the swimming pool is perfect. We have spent a very enjoyable holiday. Even if it was late in the season, we had 2 weeks of good weather and could even go to the beach. Very beautiful beaches! A fantastic stay. We loved Pézenas and often visited the town. We highly recommend the villa. It is really gorgeous and the host is very welcoming. We hope to be back soon.
It is beautiful and absolutely perfect for our needs. We also loved the village and the restaurant. We have stayed in some lovely houses in France but yours is definitely the best. We will be in touch when we next head to France!
I fell under the spell of this beautiful, atypical residence. Its proximity to the Duras castle gives it a magical touch... There is all the necessary comfort for visitors and the bedding is quality. On one side of the residence, breathtaking view of the beautiful swimming pool and the valley and on the other side, magical view of the castle fortifications. I will not reveal any more and leave the pleasure to the next visitors of discovering the other little treasures that this house hides. The village of Duras is typical of small provincial towns with its beautiful and colorful local market. In the evenings, very good festive atmosphere.
