Superb house for couples of friends or families with children. Each of the rooms has its own bathroom and WC, there are board games, bikes... and it is quiet.
We came here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and get some time together. From the moment we walked in the door we quickly came to realise what an amazing place this is. The view from the kitchen window (bu the sink) literally brought my sister to tears. ... in a very positive way. This week has allowed us to explore the area to some degree, but with so much on offer around and in the property, there was little incentive to go anywhere. The difficulty now will be to keep this gem of a property a secret from others, as we will undoubtedly tell everyone about this fantastic place. Thank you for so generously sharing your house. Well, what can we say other than we have had a ball and our 'musicals' night with you both will enter the folklore of the families. Really brilliant week at Mas Saint-Cernin. We have loved the houses, garden, pool, views, sun-rises and sunsets, birds, red squirrels etc etc. The local towns are so pretty and the fantastic markets provided most of our food. Lots of coffee stops. Found it easy to do boulangerie trip. Intermarche just outside Castillonnes was an easy supermarket shop (done on Tuesday after visiting the great market where we got large boxes of peaches, apricots and haricot vert for 5 Euros. Great wine tasting at Les Verdots - wish we had gone there earlier for our wine. La Brucellerie great for a meal. Bikes hired from Bergerac cycle hire, google Apolo cycles. Best to book in advance but really helpful man there. Huge thanks to John and Lesley for providing such wonderful accommodation (they have thought of everything) and for being so warm and helpful all week. We have appreciated your many kindnesses. Hope to return soon.
We had a lovely weeks break at this beautiful house in this lovely old historic town. The food was lovely, the beach 20 minutes away was nice and quiet and our children absolutely loved it there as well as enjoying the lovely and very warm pool! The house itself caters for all your needs. A perfect week away at a beautiful house in the perfect location for you to enjoy all the area has to offer.
Superb contemporary villa surrounded by a very large and beautiful garden, dream pool, fish pond to relax or to occupy the little ones. Eva and her friend Audrey are very kind and we are very well received and well advised on local visits and activities! We thank you again for everything.
The house is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The rooms are large and the beds are nice. The pool is perfect and well maintained and the beautiful large garden with multiple seating areas offers enough relaxation space for a group of 7 or more. What we were most impressed with is the beautiful kitchen with a large range of pans and other kitchen utensils. We love to cook so we were very satisfied with this. All in all, a fantastic house with an attentive host who responds quickly to questions.

We really had an enjoyable holiday. The house was perfect for our needs and the garden was just a joy. In fact the actual is better than the pictures on the website. It was a perfect stay for us as we were looking for a quiet time with privacy. The location itself was perfect as it was close by the liveliness of the Mediterranean coast.
We were fortunate enough to stay at the property for a week. 5 star accommodation in a beautiful remote village of Montlaur, perfect for exploring the surrounding wine regions. It was truly an amazing holiday and would highly recommend it for a quiet romantic break or a relaxed family holiday. And oh that Romeo and Juliet Balcony! Highly recommended.
Such bliss, stunning retreat with luxury home comforts We have stayed 2 years in a row and have loved every minute. Relaxing, peaceful, comfortable luxury accommodation with everything a family or group could wish for. Manoir de Saux is very well appointed, with luxurious beds and lovely en suites. The heated pool is generous, as are the grounds and reception areas. Set in tranquil countryside yet within a short drive of picturesque historic towns.
Weekend with friends. We had a pleasant stay. David and Kirstie's house is beautiful. The environment is very calm and relaxing. The house is very large, the rooms are spacious, the bedding comfortable. Each room is equipped with a bathroom. David and Kirstie are very attentive and available hosts. I recommend.
We have had a wonderful, relaxing holiday. Many thanks for the beautiful house and views. We have enjoyed the pool, the sunshine, the fantastic pool and of course the piano. As musicians having a piano was important. To learn the house was belonging a famous jazz pianist was awesome! We have played jazz everyday and the sound of piano across the evening air was a dream. Thank you Frederick for looking after us.
We have enjoyed a tremendous week. The weather was fantastic and we made the most of the outdoor living. A few highlights for us: A fantastic meal at L’Effet Maison in Monflanquin. Great service and they were superb with the boys. Château Bonaguil (never found) was a big hit with the boys. It is a large castle and they loved running around and pretending to be knights. Much (much!) further afield, but we enjoyed Angoulême on the drive down from Calais – lots of amazing murals and graffiti. We hope to return to this great house!
Beautiful and charming villa surrounded by greenery with pool and view. A really great villa in a nice area. The view with Cannes in the distance is very nice. The villa has five bedrooms, each with its own modern bathroom and toilet. Great is also the terrace with a large table and chairs and a gas barbecue. The accommodation is on two floors and therefore also has two living rooms, each with a fireplace. The garden and the heated pool complete the whole very nicely. The kitchen with two fridges, stove, microwave and dishwasher has nothing to miss. Everything was available on crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, cups and glasses in sufficient quantity. A carport, too. A very big plus is the hostess and her caretaker. Both are very friendly and helpful. Communication has also worked wonderfully. I would also like to thank you here for the absolute kindness to bring a delicious birthday cake to my mother. Very thoughtful.
Thank you for the opportunity to have another wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Everything has just been perfect! Came prepared this year with my 'adult basic piano lessons' and loved the chance to try and play again. Not so sure it was as pleasable for those listening! Thanks to Frederic and Natasha for all they do to make the 2 weeks go so smoothly.

What a remarkable project this house has bee ! Spacious and comfortable with fantastic garden and pool. We enjoyed visiting Bordeilles Castle and beautiful river, plus Brantome and paddle-boarding. We loved the market in Riberac, but the best of all was being here. So sad to leave !
