We have just had the most relaxing break in the best 5 star gîte. On arrival we were met by the owners Mark and Gary who were lovely providing a welcome package and drinks fridge which was a lovely touch The gîte itself is beautifully decorated and truly deserves its 5 star rating The pool and terrace area has everything you need with seating and dining area and a summer kitchen with barbecue and plancha It’s a peaceful and tranquil place to stay and we will definitely return

I just wanted to send a quick note to say that your house is truly amazing. The pictures framed our expectations but being here has exceeded them. We love the indoor / outdoor design of the house and the thoughtful marrying of aesthetics with functionality. We are wanting for nothing! My husband thoroughly enjoyed working at the desk on the mezzanine yesterday (the Wi-Fi and cell coverage was flawless), we both enjoyed long runs on the country roads and green walking trail and my boys love bouncing between the pool and huge yard for ball sports. Oh and I love cooking in your kitchen! I'm a cook and a believer that the kitchen should be the center of the house as it is in yours. Your lovingly done house is a magical place and I didn't want to let another day go you know by without letting how grateful we are to be here.
Another restful holiday in this little haven. Visited some lovely villages and ate wonderful food. The weather was kind - most days over 28° (and England had rain!) Warm memories to survive the British winter! Thank you again.
What a wonderful 2 weeks here - it’s been super hot - so we have made much use of the fabulous pool. Philippe - thank you for being such an attentive host - the breakfast deliveries were great and personalised. Beziers is lovely - try L’orangerie - we had a fab meal there - we also enjoyed the meal Philippe arranged for us. Thankyou for a lovely stay. A bientot.

We had a wonderful stay at La Maison Tolzac. The house is perfect, the terrace is quiet and offers a magnificent view of the lake.
As I suspected when first shown around the Loft du Vigneron, we are going to find it hard to leave. The accommodation is truly first class, and you have been wonderful hosts. Thank you for all your suggestions of places to visit - we all have different highlights, but for Franklin it was the food market in Narbonne. All in all, a perfect holiday! We very much hope to see you (and Mack and Mabel) again.

We have had a lovely family holiday in your beautiful house. The weather ended up being perfectly pleasant for our stay - allowing us to spend plenty of time outside with the little ones. We have all enjoyed making daily use of the pool and the outdoor eating areas. We have enjoyed our daily walk to the boulangerie for our breakfast croissants and the crème doudou. The house has been well placed for us to explore the surrounding attractions of the Périgord-Noir. This is an updated and more comprehensive review of our stay in June at the wonderful Maison des Cordeliers in Sarlat. After a very long journey down to Sarlat from Calais via Orleans through some frankly biblical rain storms, it was a relief to arrive at such a welcoming home! The house was very cosy and had all the home comforts you would want. The beds were super comfortable (that's saying something from a fussy bed person) and there was plenty of storage for luggage. Kitchen and living area were again stocked with all you needed and the satellite TV was a bonus for the Euros! As the weather improved, we spent a lot of time round the lovely pool or when it got too hot the veranda was a welcome spot to get some shade and relax with a book. The air con was also massively appreciated! We had never stayed in this part of France before, normally heading to Provence or the Côte d'Azur, but the town did not disappoint. Beautiful medieval architecture, fabulous markets and lovely shops and restaurants. Sarlat is a real wonder and the fact it's an easy 5 minute stroll from the house is such a bonus. I can honestly say we had a wonderful, relaxing, break at Maison des Cordeliers and would be delighted to stay again the next time we find ourselves in the Dordogne.

Amazing week for us in a very beautiful house with a wonderful view. The pool and outdoor kitchen area is great and was used daily for pool parties and delicious meals. Thanks to Peter and his team for their always friendly help.

Thank you for a wonderful two weeks at your beautiful home, we fell in love with Les Marquises as soon as we stepped out of the car the gorgeous gardens, plants, flowers and the views! Then the house where to start, the clever beautiful sense of style and decoration in every room is enchanting, warm and welcoming and although we enjoyed visiting Nyons, Vaison la Romaine and Orange, the best part of our holiday was just relaxing around the swimming pool and enjoying this outstandingly beautiful place. Thank you so much for this most memorable holiday.

Loved the setting of the house - sunflowers are gorgeous. The pool and hammock gave us much chance to relax.
We have all loved our stay here. Wish we had booked 2 weeks. Very traditional but you have provided all the modern amenities needed, with out compromising that gîte feeling. Hope to return. enjoyed afternoons in the pool and watching the amazing sunset from the driveway. Enjoyed the live entertainment in the square of Verteillac outside Le Calice bar. Must visit the beautiful town of Brantôme.

We’ve had such a fabulous week in this beautiful farmhouse. It’s very difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool, tennis court and, for some of us, the gym. The location – we thoroughly enjoyed the markets, Chinon and the woods – as well as the beautiful piano and luxuries of the house, have made this a truly memorable week for us with our grown-up children and their friends. We loved our stay at Maison Sebastien We loved our stay at Maison Sebastien. It is very spacious, with a wonderful terrace and uninterrupted views of the Luberon countryside. It was the perfect place to bring our family together. We revelled in the peaceful atmosphere and the luxurious sense of being away from everything except nature. One of my daughters discovered a new love of bird watching as she came across so many types chirruping away from dawn until dusk. The kitchen is very well equipped and the communal areas both inside and out are so comfortable and welcoming. The pool was an absolute highlight and is a great size, and provided a fantastic place to swim, play improvised volleyball and sun bathe. The bedrooms are all simply designed in a classic Provencal style and the heavy wooden shutters provided the best way to keep rooms cool in the blistering June heat. The village of St Michel l�Observatoire is totally charming and you definitely get the feeling of being well off the tourist trail and in true rural France. The bakery was sublime and tempting everyday, and we had excellent meals when we ventured out to the Auberge La Coupole in the middle of the village. The road to the house is challenging but we got used to - however I would almost certainly opt for a 4-wheel drive if we visit again as we were nervous about tyres on our rental car back (we did also get the car washed which I think really helped so didn't look like we had gone off road!). I knew that the house had been a complete success with all our family as we all discussed plans for when we could return on our last night while gazing at the spectacular starry night. Coming back home has not been easy but the charm of Maison Sebastien and its stunning location will stay long in the memory. Olivers Travels were very easy and efficient to deal with when booking initially, and the owner Kate went above and beyond with information and answering numerous questions both ahead and during our stay so we always felt very well taken care of - not to mention the wonderful caretaker Francois who was so helpful and introduced us to the house.
