Thank you for much, Philippe and Federica, for being so welcoming, generous and accommodating to our family during our stay at your lovely villa. From fresh pastries in the morning to a delicious meal at "Le Pourquoi Pas", you have gone above and beyond - and that, combined with the comforts and surroundings of the villa, is what has made this holiday so special. We all loved the comfort of the beds and quality of the linen, the faultless hot water supply and how clean the pool was. This villa really works, allowing us to have a stress-free holiday! So many happy memories made. We hope to be back with a new arrival in tow - but for now, au revoir and merci beaucoup.
We have had such a lovely week staying here. The house has everything you could need and the pool is so nice. Hugh and Ian have need fantastic hosts and we appreciate very much, the gift of plums and grapes from the garden.
We've had a lovely week here at the villa. It's been especially good for our youngest family member who has really enjoyed playing here. We loved the heated pool, especially when the clouds come over the fun can continue. Absolutely recommend a trip to see Carcassonne for those wanting a day trip, but remember to check what is open. Thanks so much, we hope to come back soon.
Wow, what a holiday! We've just returned from a fantastic week at the house and all 14 of us have nothing but praise for the whole week. The house has been beautifully renovated and is perfectly equipped in every way. We ranged from 75 to 1 yr old and had plenty of space for us all. From the crisp white linen on the very comfy beds to the pizza oven, full sized bar, the lovely sun loungers and very well equipped kitchen... we couldn't have asked for more. The kids loved picking tomatoes and lettuce from the kitchen garden and my sister and I loved the fabulous gym with amazing views across the valley. In the run up to the holiday, I had all my questions answered and George was on hand for anything we needed during our stay. We're already planning our return visit next year, hopefully for a couple of weeks as one just isn't enough!
The house was very large for our couple but we'e enjoyed the space in the house and around the house. The pool is just perfect with its 16m you can really do a bit of exercise after having had too much food and wines. It was a very relaxing holiday and a nice region to discover.
After driving through France, it was lovely to arrive at your beautiful house. The weather has been perfect and we have chilled by the swimming pool. We have visited many of the surrounding villages and gazed at the breathtaking views from the top of the mountains. We really don't want to begin our journey back and will certainly recommend to others. Thank you.
We had a great week at Maison Lemance in August. We were two families with grown up children and partners but there was still plenty of space for everyone. The extensive garden and terrace was ideal for outside dining and chilling out around the pool in the sunshine as well as providing more energetic activities such as table tennis, badminton and boules. With no light pollution, there was some stunning night time star gazing. The house was well equipped to accommodate and cater for our large party. For those who wanted to drag themselves away from the pool, there was plenty to do including bustling night markets and trips to Bergerac and Cahors. Sam was a terrific host and was very helpful and accommodating before and during our stay.

A wonderful holiday. We knew that we would be having a wonderful time at the Loft du Vigneron as soon as we received our first email from Russell and Karen containing an information pack for our holiday. Their attention to detail is second to none and they had thought of everything we might need to know. They also helped us with restaurant reservations for our time in the Minervois. When we arrived we were certainly not disappointed! The Loft is beautifully furnished, very comfortable and extremely well cared for and we had everything we could need for our stay. The rooms are spacious and luxurious and we enjoyed breakfasts, afternoons and evenings on the lovely terrace in the late September warmth. Rieux-Minervois is in an excellent position for exploring the local area, and the village boulangerie and supermarket are within walking distance of the Loft, which was great. Russell and Karen were excellent hosts - there to help if needed but not intruding at all on our privacy. We would definitely recommend The Loft!
An absolute gem of a house! We came here for a fortnight with a mixture of friends, family and even a cricket team (touring France). And we had the most delightful stay. It really feels like a luxurious home from home, with lovely comfortable furniture, beautiful spacious grounds, a first rate tennis court and pool and a beautiful 'bolet' (veranda) on which to sit and enjoy the local wine… Highly recommended!
We could not leave without saying what a privilege it was being the first family to rent your beautiful house. We have had the most fantastic time - the house is absolutely perfect. We felt we really experienced the area visiting Grimaud, Port Grimaud, Saint-Maxime and Gassin - all are well worth a visit. We even went wakeboarding (well Ian did) and can recommend Adventure Sports Saint-Tropez who do loads of water sports. We hope the next guests have as great a time as we did.
Once again we have had a wonderful time here in your beautiful home. It has been so nice to come back here. The weather has been glorious, the pool fantastic and we have enjoyed ourselves immensely! Wonderful house for a family holiday. Age range 7 months to 70 years. Well equipped and the area great for exploration. The pool and garden a great hit.
We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. This is a wonderful place to stay: we, a couple, spent two weeks at Carcavi in September 2022. We wanted a quiet break in comfort and luxury and the house was everything we had hoped for and more. The house itself is very well equipped and has comfy seating and a good bed :-) Carcavi is spacious and beautiful, the grounds are extensive and the pool is excellent. It is very peaceful. There was a generous hamper of food and drink items to get us started. The whole property is cared for to a high standard. There is lots of information in the house itself and of course more is readily available from hosts Rupert and Debbie. We read a lot, enjoying the various places to sit, we swam and M examined the varied local plants and invertebrates with enthusiasm. We enjoyed walks in the adjacent woods and valley. Thanks so much to Rupert and Debbie for letting us use the house phone to call the duty chemist when the urgent need arose, really appreciated.
Thank you for our brilliant stay in your beautiful home. As well as the house the garden is also stunning. We have enjoyed many days in the lovely pool and have also really enjoyed exploring the beautiful surroundings, including Saumur. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again.
Thank you both so much for a magical 5-night stay. We have absolutely loved staying here and will miss it when we go home! The gîte is amazing, beautiful inside and out. We really appreciate all of your efforts for making our stay so comfortable. Such a lovely touch having fresh bread, eggs and veg from your garden waiting for us - perfect. We had a fabulous week! We really made the most of the pool and outdoor kitchen and there was nothing we needed which wasn’t there. It was hot - so mostly we went out early and got back to get in the pool/shade. It’s a great location for exploring the local area and we loved Monaco, Nice, Lorgues and St Maxime. Thank you for hosting us and thanks to G for her help too.

We've had a super time in the house, made some fabulous meals, enjoyed al fresco dining and of course the pool! We enjoyed exploring especially Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi. A wonderful location with stunning views and beautiful sunsets, Mas Saint Cernin was the perfect venue for a relaxing family holiday. The Grange itself was great in every aspect: from the space, cleanliness and tastefully decorated rooms, through to the general facilities and the exceptional warm hospitality from owners John and Lesley. The large and well appointed swimming pool where the five children in our group spent many hours splashing as children should on their summer holidays was used by us every day. There were pool toys plus plenty of sun loungers for all the group to relax on and soak up the rays within the secluded private garden. Mas Saint Cernin was a home-from-home in a beautiful part of France and we could quite happily have taken up residence; it was with regret that we had to wave farewell at the end of two glorious weeks.
Wow… what an amazing villa, it's just so beautiful. We had an amazing family holiday… Debbie and Brent also made our experience so memorable and really have provided a fantastic service.

What a magic place! We have loved every minute here. Pete is the most incredible host and we loved our evening chats. The kayaking has been the highlight, we loved Sarlat - Had a great lunch at Lou Podel and not forgetting the disco pool lights after dark. The kids loved it! We'll be back.
