The house is magnificent and very well equipped, for the kitchen or for activities, everything is planned for a good stay. The welcome is warm with very friendly neighbors. I highly recommend the Château des Grillauds for a peaceful stay in the Dordogne. We had a pleasant stay and the house is very well equipped. There is everything you need to have a great vacation with family or friends. We were able to have lunch outside to enjoy the garden and the swimming pool. This beautiful villa in the middle of the vineyards had every comfort imaginable. The heated pool was a dream. We would also like to mention the exceptional cleanliness. The hosts do everything to ensure that you feel comfortable and can enjoy a pleasant holiday.
We had 2 nights at Le Château de La Loire and were delighted with every aspect of our stay. The accommodation was beautifully appointed and there were several equally beautiful places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The setting overlooking the loire was stunning and the adjoining street art park was an unexpected treat. We loved the pool and spa area and were fortunate to have it to ourselves a couple of times. We would love to return some day.
A perfect stay for a family Christmas. Plenty of room for 10 people. Beautiful bedrooms and bathroom. A very family-friendly living room, a superb and functional kitchen. Both properties were finished to an extremely high standard and provided luxurious and comfortable accommodation for all 15 of us (with some room to spare!). It was immediately apparent upon our arrival that a great deal of love and attention to detail has gone into making the domaine the place that it is and we felt very privileged to be able to enjoy everything that the property has to offer.
We have had a wonderful time exploring the countryside and villages, all beautiful. Richard and Gay have made a fantastic home. We hope to return.
Fabulous elegant stay. Just returned from a fantastic stay at Manoir Capraise. We only had a week at this fantastic house but it was very memorable. The main house and gîte have been beautifully and tastefully restored. There is great quality and attention to detail throughout from the lovely terraces / landscaping / pool / vegetable garden to the quality furnishings and equipment . Many a lovely meal was enjoyed admiring the fantastic location from the multiple outdoor seating areas on the terraces. The gîte provided a great independent area for teenagers and the well equipped gym was a bonus, plans for a games room will further enhance this great property. We appreciated a lovely welcome package of local wine and produce, another quality touch. Thank you Mark and Sarah, everything was just perfect, we hope to return again.
We had a really nice holiday at Château Entre-Deux-Mers... it's an amazing place and everything was just fine.
My family and I had such a wonderful stay at Claire’s home. It is a beautiful restored farmhouse in the most peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed being in the house and the garden so much – we (and especially our 5 year old) loved the pool and hammock. There’s plenty of things to do nearby too. We hope to come back again next summer. Thank you, Claire. We loved Petite Maison de Campagne so much!
Great place!! We really enjoyed our week here. Pool, excitement of the stay, the tortoise and the location. We think that the tortoise should be named Trevor. :) We loved Bordeaux. Some great restaurants in Libourne: MA Restaurant and Bistro Maritime. Very enjoyable wine cellar tour and tasting at Château de la Rivière just up the road. Recommend Grotte Pair-non-Pair near Bourg. Thank you from us all !
We had a fantastic 2 week holiday in this beautiful house with amazing surroundings! We visited several picturesque villages. Spent some lovely days and evenings around the pool and BBQ's. Totally relaxing!

What an amazing week! The whole family had a superb time - we thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful home, with everything we needed there! Our family - from the age of 6 to 71 enjoyed all the facilities - the pools, hot tub, table football, darts and of course, table tennis. Thank you so much for your hospitality and use of your “home”. We will be back - but before then I hope you will visit us in Prague.
To open the shutters of the pretty red bedroom and see that glorious view, gives one a small inkling of why the 'Sun King' built Versailles! This was my 4th visit to Provence and it hasn't disappointed. Many thanks
