I just wanted to drop you a short note to say what a fantastic holiday we had staying at your house. Everything was just about perfect including the weather and the house was beautiful. Once again a big thank you from all my family.
At the end of a long and busy vacation in France, the property was a beautiful place to relax. The grounds and pool are perfect, the owners were friendly and helpful. Very clean, well appointed, comfortable. Close enough to go where we wanted along the Côte d'Azur, but peaceful when we wanted to relax. One week was not enough. Will definitely return here if we travel to France again.

Hi, we arrived last night and have managed to get installed into this lovely house! We had high expectations, but the house exceeds them!
Kim is very responsive when communicating. In addition, she is very welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend Kim and her lodge.
A wonderful stay and greatly enjoyed the house. All the bedrooms are en-suite and three of them have the most amazing views towards the Corbières and Pyrenées mountains. There is a very well maintained pool and an attractive garden and outdoor seating area. Thank you!
We highly recommend Maison Four à Chaux, we had a great holiday in this amazing property which was clean, very comfortable and very spacious inside and out. Lovely large heated pool and an excellent games barn which included skittles alley and table tennis. We were greeted by Yvonne who was great and very knowledgeable of the local area and was easily contactable (as were the owners) if there was any issues (which there weren't). We would definitely recommend Maison Four à Chaux.
The host was great. She went out of her way to make us feel at home. The area is picturesque and great for exploring the wine region.
A very beautiful house and property. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful and are British so they speak both French and English which is a plus. Since the guest house is located to the side of the main house, you will also have privacy whenever you want. The guest house is wonderfully decorated in a typical French/British style. A large kitchen, a large bedroom with very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom with bath and shower. You have your own terrace where you can start the day with breakfast and a breathtaking view of the garden and the horses :) The host gave us advice and also brought us into the forest where we had a night cap. They helped us find a gig and also lent us their grill and let us use the washing machine. We highly recommend and would love to return. Thanks.
The incredible thing about this house is that you quickly feel at home there. We are like in a cocoon, magnificent, relaxing, invigorating. We spent 15 incredible days here, a vacation that we will remember for years to come. Amazing corners, an intoxicating sea, enriching discoveries, and a group of friends who have become closer thanks to this experience. This villa is of incredible beauty and quality, the breathtaking setting between the view of the sea and the sunset over the Cévennes, the heated swimming pool available at any time of the day and night adds further excellence to the frame. We are here in peace although we have everything we need around, notably in Béziers, Cap d'Agde, Sigean... Spain is very close for an even greater change of scenery. We will return with great joy, thank you very warmly.
An exceptional house in an exceptional setting. We were able to stay a week in this house in so many different ways, as a family, as a couple with friends and this house allows to enjoy life! Take the time to enjoy the superb cuisine, professional level equipment, with and without a caterer, you will appreciate the heart of the house. A large piece of land that can be shared around the house for different activities, a superb seating area with views on the Rhone, a welcoming corner around a round table and its tennis court not far away. The land extends to offer a short walk, allowing digestive walks following the big banquets in the reception house where a large sofa, retro projector and bar await you! Perfect tranquility and very comfortable bedding, enough to spend an exceptional stay where rest and pleasure are the key words of our experience.
We were warmly welcomed by Sarah. The rooms are very clean, nicely furnished. The beds are very comfortable, there is enough space and our dog was also welcome. The property is super nice, we will try the swimming pool next time ;-) Good advice from Sarah for activities to discover in the region.
We have enjoyed every moment of our holiday here. We wanted to get away from our busy lives in London…and we did! Lounging by the pool or in hammocks, followed by evenings with delicious BBQs. Pézenas is a sweet little town with great places to eat and shop. Visit the market on Saturday for an explosion of the senses! We can't wait wait to return next summer.
A truly wonderful 2 weeks in this magnificent place. The drive, the views, the rooms - all very special in their own way. 2 weeks is not enough!
Maison La Civade and had a wonderful time. The house was lovely, spacious and well equipped. The pool was excellent and plenty big enough for our family of five. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful, but the local village was within easy striking distance for shopping and restaurants and other larger towns are also easily accessible. We had a thoroughly relaxing two weeks and made good use of the surrounding footpaths and bridleways which run very close to the property. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and would recommend the property without hesitation.
Had an amazing time with the family at this beautiful château. Tucked away among adorable little villages, a slice of pure tranquility. It's a place where everything is beautiful and well taken care of. And the pool an absolute gem, a spot where you can relax and soak in the stunning scenery. We loved the laid-back vibe while still things were top-notch in terms of comfort and charm.
This was our fourth stay in a villa in Languedoc, Occitanie… we all agreed that this was the best villa and location.
Le Malardier is delightful. It is so much more than just a holiday home. Every room makes you want to step inside. The house has been so sympathetically restored and is quite clearly a labour of love. Richard and Gay were also the perfect hosts and couldn't have done more to welcome us. If your thinking of booking a week or two at Malardier, do it. You won't be disappointed.
We are extremely delighted with this stay. Everything was perfect, we didn't miss anything. The estate is a charming place to visit, with very beautiful walks to take. We were able to benefit from their advice on activities and attractions nearby. The swimming pool is a plus. The house had all the equipment we could need, very comfortable bedding, functional kitchen… Thank you very much for your welcome!
Expect a warm welcome from friendly and helpful owners, Nicky and Richard to the lovey château. Beautifully located among vine covered fields and wooded hills, we'd enjoyed the peace, the views, the wonderful pool and the space. The château is not far from some pretty villages dotted around the River Lot and Cahors is only 25 minutes away. Plenty to do and see in the area, with the opportunity to return back to our holiday oasis where we could barbecue and relax or play a round of golf on site in their vast grounds. Loved it.
Lovely villa in the countryside and is very well equipped. We enjoyed spending time with our family here over the holidays - it was the perfect setting for a family gathering. Caretaker Rose-Anne was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay.
We've had a wonderful two weeks here - beautiful weather, everything we could possibly need in the gîte and amazing hosts in Meryl and Richard (and Poppy). We brought bikes and had some great cycling days along the route by the canal and further afield for the more energetic member of the family! Lots of beautiful places to visit - some of our favourites were Lauzerte, Moissac, Auvillar, Monatigu de Quercy, Tournon d'Agennais and Pujols. Nice to just wander around and have a good lunch, then come back for a swim in the pool. We had a great night watching France v Belgium in the World Cup semi final in the square in Bourg de Visa. There was a TV screen hanging out of a window above the bar, the flags are out and beer was flowing. Wish we could stay and cheer France in the final! Thanks for a wonderful holiday.
Pure France clients - A beautiful house, fully equipped with EVERYTHING you could ever need or think of! The pool area is just brilliant and we all enjoyed spending the majority of our stay here underwater. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality, especially the kindness and interest you showed towards the girls... Caitlin especially loved Alan showing her all the bugs!! We have all enjoyed a wonderful time in this delightful corner of Provence with its magnificent scenery and warm hospitality.
We had such a lovely week at Les Cabannes with 3 generations of our family... A fantastic, well equipped, welcoming house in a beautiful place, set in so much space for everyone to do their own thing, if they so desire. Les Cabannes really is in perfect seclusion but not isolation - plenty of wonderful things to see and do nearby, if you can persuade yourself (or anyone) to leave the pool!
We would like to say how much we enjoyed La Cigalière. The house and pool were lovely. Charlotte was most helpful and everything was just perfect for our holiday. We have been going to France for nearly 20 years and this definitely a go back to villa. Thanks for a lovely holiday.
