We stayed with our 2 children aged 5 and 7 and had a wonderful time. There are plenty of things to do nearby and the accomodation was well equiped and great for a family holiday. The pool is wonderful for long hot afternoons and there is lots of outdoor space to explore. The hosts were very helpful and I would recommend this place to my friends.
Unfortunately we forgot to sign the guest book in our hurry with the kids but we just wanted to reconfirm to you that we had a great time in your place and hopefully we will return to complete our task!

What an amazing holiday! Le Pigat was beautiful and very well equipped with extra little touches. This all made our visit special. The bread delivery was an absolute delight. Many special memories made by the pool and we found the cave! Also visits to Bergerac, Périgueux, Monbazillac, Mouleydier, Issigeac, Sarlat-la-Canéda, Domme, Château de Bridoire, Saint-Émilion and Brantôme. Not forgetting Eymet and Trémolat. All beautiful places and worth a visit. Many special restaurants too. Some rustic, some very gourmet. We will miss being here in the warmth, by the pool and in wonderful surroundings. Many thanks.
We have stayed several times in this superb house, very well equipped, the swimming pool is great and the view is breathtaking. This little village is worth the detour.
We have had an amazing two weeks here in this lovely home. We have enjoyed exploring the local area. We loved kayaking and using a pedalo on the River Lot. We have made really good use of the pool and the secret garden. Thank you so much Alan and Madeline for all your kindness and consideration - and especially taking us on that lovely walk. We had a lovely week in this quaint house. It was secluded with a lovely pool which was cleaned twice during our week. Which was ideal as it was quite windy. We had no faults with our stay and the owner was helpful when required. I would like to point out that air conditioning is only downstairs, kitchen and bedroom with pull out sofa bed in. There was an air conditioning unit in the top bedroom which was satisfactory. That would be my only comment on what was a lovely week that it should be clearer in the description where it is.
Fantastic holiday. We come to France a lot and this is one of the best places we have stayed in.
We absolutely loved this house for our week-long stay for a friend's wedding - the house itself is gorgeous - really stylish with luxury fittings and furnishing, ample kitchen crockery etc and even well-stocked to use the BBQ and have food and drinks outside. The pool and view are just magnificent and there is a lovely restaurant just two steps away, as well as more bars and restaurants in nearby towns... just a perfect place for a relaxing south of France stay! We would love to return!

Our weeks stay at Les Marquises was exceptional, this is due to the skilful combination of old and new, colour and light, greenery and shadow combined in a tasteful and harmonious style that characterises the interior of the house and its domain. When you stay in such a place, even for only one week, a place that was restored, recreated and maintained with so much love, you can only love it back, the house, garden, the scenery creates a rare feeling of magic that will stay with us. We felt wonderful and grateful to be guests at the house. Thank you.

Beautiful maintained home and grounds. Excellent facilities for young families. All modern and child / baby amenities provided. Daily housekeeping was an added bonus compared to previous holiday rentals.
We'd kept everything crossed that the embarrassment of riches within the Pure France portfolio would turn up something magical and you didn't disappoint. We would be hard pressed to say definitively which we loved best - This is no holiday cottage, it's a much-loved and equipped home and we loved the distinction. Faultless on every level and precisely the tonic we needed. Thank you for such great service. We couldn't commend Pure France or Maison Charvin more highly.
The house is beautiful - amazing views, wonderful pool, very comfortable beds. We had a fantastic time - didn't see as much of the area as planned - as everyone so happy playing in pool!

Excellent stay in a real castle. We loved our stay at this château! We stayed with extended family and loved the options for the kids inside and out. The owner was very friendly and greeted us personally on the first day. There was a zip line that the kids adored as well as a number of other indoor and outdoor activities. I highly recommend this experience to other families.
We have just come back from having a fab week. It was beautiful. We had a week of wonderful hot sunshine which prevented us from using the wonderful sitting room and the fire. This would be a great place for the cooler parts of the year as well as the summer. Also the kitchen was probably the best equipped kitchen that we have ever had the pleasure to use on a self catering holiday. The Garden was lovely. All in all a great place.

We all had an amazing time in this beautiful villa. The location is really convenient and we walked to all the beaches and shops and restaurants. The swimming pool was lots of fun and the views are spectacular.
Wonderful time here in Sarlat. This house is perfect for seeing the area. Lots of great things to do within easy distance. The house is in a beautiful location and with the high temperatures this week the pool has been a godsend. Everything in the house is geared for visitors and it's really well equipped. This is my first time in the Dordogne and it's absolutely beautiful. I will certainly come back soon. Thank you Jackie and Geoff for a wonderful holiday.
We have had a wonderful week at Château du Pic de Rigaud and enjoyed every minute! The weather has got better and better and we've had perfect days by the pool. The château has been incredibly comfortable and provided everything we needed. We have enjoyed exploring Najac including the Wednesday evening market. Thank you to Henrietta and Peter for all your help and bookings. We will miss this wonderful house and grounds and our morning walks to the Boulangerie. We hope to return.

Marie-Christine's house is ideal for a family, it is decorated with great taste, modern and airy. It has all the amenities and its location is ideal (supermarket, bakeries, shopping center, city center, train station, etc.) Marie is a charming person. She gave us advice and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend his house which is completely renovated. Thank you for your warm welcome. We had a great stay, the house is very pleasant. The private bathrooms are a real plus, as is the use of the sauna and jacuzzi. We'll be back!
