This year again, I would like to return at the house. This place embodies the very essence of a welcoming home for friends, so far from impersonal rentals devoid of warmth. At home, we immediately feel a warm atmosphere, imbued with your exquisite taste and the place's true soul. Every year, you have wonderful surprises in store for us: a new room furnished with unparalleled care and originality, a garden that is transformed, a vegetable garden that offers us seasonal vegetables of exceptional quality. And what can we say about the memorable adventures we experienced, as well as the breathtaking view of Provence and the majestic Pont du Gard during our breakfasts. Thanks to you, this place is transformed into a real family home. We are already starting to count the days that separate us from our next stay. See you soon.
We are a family of 4 who decided to discover the Périgord region. We looked at this property and fell in love with the outside: the château itself and the beautiful garden with a pool. The interior decoration was unique as there was a very pretty sitting room with a piano which reminded me of 18th century style while the dining room had more medieval features. The second floor had many bedrooms which was very good for the rest of our family who joined us later. On that floor, there is also a second TV room where all the teenagers hung out . We dined inside in the morning and outside in the evening. We enjoyed barbecues and (a lot of) good wine. The neighbors, who are also friends of the owner , were very helpful and nice. We discovered all kinds of attractions like visiting castles, tasting wine, kayaking on the Dordogne and going to huge parties organized by different villages through the summer. In short , we enjoyed our vacation in this beautiful château very much! We’ll definitely come back for another vacation.
We spent an amazing week at Château Lignol. We chose the Chateau as it looks beautiful but I will be honest the pictures do not do it justice as once you are there it looks even more amazing. The garden was great to entertain children of all ages, with the fenced swimming pool and the trampoline which were used and abused on a daily basis by our children. I loved relaxing in the bath and chilling by the the pool with a nice glass of wine. It was also so quiet with only the landlord (ever so discreet and still always there to assist should you need anything) and a farmer as neighbors that you can truly enjoy the serene surrounding. Yet it is only one hour from Concarneau and its lovely beaches to which we went on two occasions. We also used the service proposed for a cook, Sharon, whom we highly recommend (especially her beef stroganoff which is out of this world!) who preempted all our needs and who prepared all our breakfasts, beautifully laid out, few meals and a party buffet which we had with some friends at the Chateau. Everything looked amazing and tasted great as well! It will remain a beautiful memory of a true holiday where everyone truly relaxed and enjoy themselves! This is the second time we’ve holidayed with Oliver’s Travels, this time via Pure France and we’ve been just as impressed this time round! All dealings have been professionally and efficiently executed and we really can’t fault any area, in fact we’re full of praise

An absolute joy to stay here! The Loft is perfect in every way. Karen and Russell have literally thought of everything. A wonderful kitchen and gorgeous crockery, loads of utensils - it was a joy to use! Undoubtedly for our four teenagers the Loft terrace has been a major hit. Many an hour has been spent lounging around listening to the water trickling along. Totally relaxing. The recommendations were perfect for things to do, restaurants and vineyards to visit. Karen was so right about la Cite at Carcassonne - beautiful. Many thanks for the welcome, the chats and the wine - we will definitely be back!
The house is a magical island setting in the countryside, with a wonderful rural and secluded ambiance. The size and comfort are simply perfect. I loved the morning runs in nature and the breakfasts on the terrace. Carelle and her husband are warm and supportive owners. The three dogs present themselves from time to time as friendly travelers. A great experience.
Superb house for couples of friends or families with children. Each of the rooms has its own bathroom and WC, there are board games, bikes... and it is quiet.

A lovely family house beautifuly equipped Immaculate property, all the bedrooms are great with the addition of air con in the master bedroom, great kitchen, bathrooms and perfect showers! British TV to keep the kids entertained. The pool area is sheltered and a real sun trap! Our favourite time was BBQ in the evening on the first floor terrace with beautiful views . Very convenient for a stroll onto the pretty village with bars restaurants and lovely markets. Superb unspoilt beaches only 20 minutes away. Highly recommend going into Narbonne only half an hour away, you must visit the indoor food market.

A very nice find this tower at the World's End... A breathtaking view, hours spent looking at the horizon and the passing ships. We will remember this wonderful week for a long time! Thank you for giving a magic second life to this place.
Comfort and good taste reign in this house. Fields as far as the eye can see, the Dordogne just a stone's throw away. We feel good in this family home. Quality services. The owners have ensured our comfort and have provided us with good recommendations to enjoy the wonders of this region.
Lovely location with beautiful views in a quiet and peaceful setting. Fantastic facilities, the house had everything you needed and more, super swimming pool, lovely and warm, well maintained and enjoyed by all the family. Alan and Madeline were on hand to assist at all times, we wish them every happiness in their new life in France.
Lovely house in an ideal situation. We had a wonderful time doing a little exploring but mainly lying by the beautiful pool. It's an ideal design to sit in and cool off. Two minutes walk for croissants in the morning and Rose wine in the afternoon - the Supermarket! We agree its a 5 / 5.
We had a wonderful stay at “La Cottage” in St Maurin. The detached stone property was incredibly clean, cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved the peaceful location and outdoor space surrounding the cottage along with the large private pool. Bryn and Steph were excellent hosts providing detailed information about the local area including markets, evening festivals and the best restaurants. We highly recommend this cottage for a stay in the heart of the Lot-et-Garonne region of France.
A lovely, comfortable home in a beautiful town. Pézenas is a fantastic place - you have a great location here. Thanks for all the tips and ideas in your folder - you obviously love the area and love exploring! The 'Estivals' (wine and local producers offer their products in the streets in the evening) of Pézenas were great fun and right on our doorstep, every Friday night in July and August.
What a lovely property. A real home from home, lacking nothing. Thank you for allowing us to spend 2 weeks as a large family group. We all had a fantastic time.
