Amazing space of the house led to us having the best family holiday ever for 9 adults and three young children. The outdoor areas are equally fantastic, the pool, Japanese garden with pizza oven was greatly appreciated and we would love to come back and see our host Katie again.

We had a simply exceptional weekend. The castle is very comfortable with one bathroom per room, the renovation is extremely well thought out and the attention to detail is very appreciable. It's modern and functional. The heating works perfectly well. There is everything you need on site (well-stocked kitchen, stereo, video projector, etc.) The packed wine tasting event on weekends and the walks in the vineyards at the foot of the castle are great. The staff on site is perfect.
Maison Bourg Calès is most definitely a five-star property. It is a beautiful property, both inside and outside, beautifully clean and fully equipped with everything you could possible need for a wonderful holiday. We also really appreciated the extra touches - the bottle of own label wine that awaited us, the basket full of towels for the pool and the store cupboard of kitchen essentials. We loved the saltwater pool. We would happily recommend it to anyone wishing to holiday in the Dordogne and looking for a well-located, high quality property.
Came for 2 weeks, had a warm welcome from our hosts. We explored the area and further afield, went on lovely walks, found some lovely villages, Sarlat-la-Caneda and Bergerac with their lovely markets. This lovely home, just on the outskirts of the old historic town of Pezenas, is everything we hoped it would be. A short stroll into the town centre with bars, restaurants and bakeries a plenty! All offering great value ! Aside from the location, the house is well equipped, clean and very comfortable. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms. A lovely sitting area outside for outdoor dining. The sun is over the pool and on the sun lounges well into the evening. The Games room was well used and a great area for teenagers to have space for themselves. The area has much to offer, something for everyone to enjoy! Walking, cycling or lazy days on the beach in Sete or Agde (both offer water sports).Kayaking in Saint Guilherme de Desert or wine tasting in La Croix Belle or Picpoul (neither to far from the house.) The market day on Saturday is fabulous! Thank you to owners and managers!

Have had a great two weeks here in your wonderful house. Very spacious and well-appointed, tasteful and comfortable. Boys have thoroughly enjoyed the pool. We have appreciated tranquility and privacy. We have enjoyed exploring the area and sampling the local cuisine. Restaurant recommendations include Hotel-Restaurant du Château in Campagne, Auberge Médiévale Audrix and for rustic but delicious farmhouse cuisine - Auberge Rebeyrotte near Pressigirac Vicq. This time coming back in the summer we got to enjoy time by the pool with breathtaking views, monopoly in the living room, TV nights upstairs and dining under the stars outside. Your home is special to us and we always want to come back and never want to leave! It feels as if time stands still and our holidays feel so long and luxurious every time we are here.

Lovely house, fab pool and great location! First time to Sarlat and lots to see and do. House is lovely, walking distance to the centre of Sarlat. The pool is amazing and much needed in 35°c heat. Would definitely recommend.
Our holiday at Villa Rossini was wonderful. The pool, gym, outdoor kitchen and location all made it extra special.
Beautifully renovated Villa. Well equipped kitchen, large pool and lots of ensuite bedrooms. Has everything to keep you entertained whether it’s full sunshine or rain. The owners were super helpful and always a text away if we needed anything. Small town nearby and a big supermarket 5 minutes drive away. We would definitely stay again in the future!

Stunning, really well maintained and clean. Feels very safe for our young family. Very well-thought-through facilities for an inter-generational group. Great use of pool, playroom, BBQ, dining areas. Delicious and varied menu enjoyed by all. Good interaction with hosts; always available (even with chocolates!). Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and hope to return.
A little attention. The high quality fittings and furnishings say a great deal. Our compliments to the owners. Having stayed in many other rental properties over the years, it makes a real and tangible difference. Amanda is a perfect welcome host too!
Thank you so much for a relaxing week - it was just what we needed! The Loft is truly exceptional and Oscar has loved playing in the garden. Visits to Narbonne, Carcassonne and the Sigean Animal Reserve were great. The highlight for us was the Gouffe de Cabesprine caves - a must see!
Where do we start! Arrived at the gite and drove through the private gated entrance to see beautiful grounds and a very inviting swimming pool. Jean and Martyn were waiting to show us around and were the perfect hosts throughout our stay. The gite, grounds, outdoor kitchen and pool all immaculate and made for the perfect stay. The washing machine, dishwasher and many fridges are an added bonus. The bedrooms and bathroom a good size, fab open plan kitchen, diner and living room. Lots of extras in the kitchen which is great. Lauzun is a great little village with all the amenities you need, several other pretty villages near by (Issigeac and Eymet are lovely) Large hyper/supermarkets and various shops in Bergerac, 30mins away or a decent size Intermarche 10mins away. We would highly recommend the gite and will definitely be returning. Thank you Jean and Martyn for your letting us stay in your lovely property and not forgetting the very friendly, fluffy, German Shepherd Tanner. We had the best time, enjoyed sharing our many bottles of vino and our evening with you in Eymet.
We’re sad to be leaving this beautiful place, have had such a relaxing week lying in the beautiful garden, pottering around your thoughtfully equipped house, have loved every minute here - thank you! And thanks to Nathalie and Mike who were so lovely and helpful.
The most perfect location for a peaceful and restorative family holiday! Children and adults alike kept entertained by the games room, toys, amazing pool ... we so appreciated how well-equipped and thoughtfully designed the house is - it became a running joke of "is there anything this house doesn't have?!"
