We had a fantastic family holiday everyone loved the pool / tennis court, BBQ's, trips to the local villages. We came last year and we will definitely book again.
Two weeks of idyllic bliss in the rolling French countryside with superb weather to atch. As a family young and old, we enjoyed the stunning house, garden, pool and views. To agree with the previous guests, Laparade is the place to be on a Tuesday evening. Days spent at Biscarosse beach and lakeside both worth the journey. Would also highly recommend in house beauty treatments. We had massages and facials. Fantastic. Just ask Olivia.
We have just returned from the most wonderful holiday in an equally wonderful house La Barde. The owner greeted us warmly and had also baked us a cake which was unexpected but so appreciated. The house is absolutely beautiful and large, spacious, tastefully furnished rooms allowed everyone to gather or find a quiet area. The house is exceptionally well equipped and mirrors and sockets perfectly placed for hairdrying, a very important feature! Fabulous good sized pool with enough loungers for all. We were 8 strong, 2 sets of parents with our 4 grown up children (18-25). We all agreed that this was the best house that we have rented ( and we have been renting lovely houses for many years). The owner was simply delightful and we would see her from time to time cleaning the pool early morning. Ideally situated for nearby towns of Aubeterre and Bourdeilles and some lovely walks directly from the property too. We would not hesitate from returning to La Barde in the future and think it would be ideal for all age groups.
La Maison Cabanon felt like home! Perfect for a family holiday. We were blessed with great weather. Lots of cycling, swimming and food in a truly magical setting. We shall return!

We take wonderful memories back to Holland. Great house and great pool, especially during the hot weather this week. We cycled to Minerve, which was a beautiful ride. Grand Café Occitan happened to be closed, but the kitchen is fully equipped for preparing your own meals. Thank you!
Time seems to pass so quickly when staying in this lovely house in such a lovely place. We have enjoyed a glorious week with many happy hours in and around the pool with our children and grandchildren. And, we have enjoyed exploring – once again – this beautiful part of France. A Perfect Family Retreat – Exceeded Our Expectations! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa and it truly exceeded our expectations. The photos on the website don’t fully capture the charm and spaciousness of this property. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. La Ferme Éclaircie is brilliantly laid out, offering plenty of open space, which was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. Each room was spotless, tidy and provided ample storage space for all our holiday belongings. The games room was a fantastic bonus, keeping our children entertained during the occasional rainy day. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Our three boys absolutely loved it and spent hours splashing around. The gentle slope of the pool was especially helpful for our youngest, who learned to swim during this holiday - an unforgettable milestone for our family. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which was ideal for both daytime relaxation and evening games as we watched the sun set. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views added to the tranquility of our stay. La Ferme Éclaircie location is perfect for exploring the local area, which offers plenty of activities to keep a family like ours busy. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this villa is a perfect choice. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
Just returned from your villa in Fitou. We had a wonderful time, house was beautiful, swimming pool ideal for the kids. Did a few day trips as recommended in your folder. In all a very enjoyable stay, probably one of our nicest holidays to date! Thanks a lot.

What a gorgeous retreat from city life! We booked three weeks at the house and enjoyed every minute of it. The outside kitchen is fantastic, it felt like we had our own private restaurant. The pool was perfect for our three children and the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains are stunning. Alexandra was easily contactable in case of any queries or issues. All in all, highly recommended!
The house is great, each room has its independence in terms of shower and toilet. It is very spacious and well furnished: a billiard table, table tennis, barbecue, overhead projector, enormous kitchen/bar very well equipped and swimming pool (unheated). The hostess is very nice.

We truly had a fantastic holiday. I needed the rest and some time with my children and parents and Château Entre-Deux-Mers certainly afforded me that. Again thank you, your château is lovely and it provided my family with some great memories of a relaxing holiday in France.
Many thanks for a wonderful week, we have so enjoyed this lovely house and the beautiful area around it, we wish we had more than a week to see more of what we wanted, we enjoyed the circular walk through the mixed pine forest, it’s very pretty and only 2 km long. We loved l Auberge du petit bistro in Vinsobres (a 2/3 minute drive), this was our favourite eating experience, while Vaison la Romain was lovely to visit. Many thanks for bringing us to all these wonderful experiences.

What a beautiful location, breathtaking. A very warm welcome, you feel at home because of the fine reception. The hosts help you with everything you could want. The gîte is also spick and span and meets all your needs. Had a very relaxing holiday. Exactly as it should be! We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come here again.
A charming beautiful home from home. A relaxing fortnight as a family, soakling in the views of the French countyrside and all the character of the house. Where one family can stay in one location and spend precious time together - Malardier is the perfect place to do so
The house is fantastic and we have had a wonderful stay. The village of Gensac is a lovely warm village. Look out for various activities in the square, concerts at the church and moules frites nights on Thursdays at the café. We arrived on Saturday evening to a food festival in the square which was fantastic. There is lots to do in the area. Bordeaux is a wonderful city and worth the trip. St. Emilion and Bergerac are also both great for a day out. It is worth the small trip by bicycle to the Pessac-sur-Dordogne on the bank of the river. There are a couple of good restaurants and the kayak restaurant does great food. St. Foy la Grande is little gem and worth a trip for lunch or a picnic on the beach by the river. All together a great trip.

Have had a wonderful holiday, very restful and really enjoyed the pool especially on a hot day. Enjoyed visiting Sète, Agde and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. Would love to return on day. Absolutely loved the pool and the garden. Would recommend Les Polmiers and Pézenas is a beautiful town!

The Castle. We met up with our friends from Australia and Ireland (13 in total) at CDG and drove approx. 2.5 hours to Chateau Bourgogne. The manager was waiting for us when we arrived and despite it being a cool April day, the heating was on and the place was warm. Chateau Bourgogne is a magnificent property with about 10 bedrooms across three levels and numerous bathrooms (some ensuite) as well as numerous reception rooms, turrets, cellars and a dungeon. It is very well appointed and easily housed our party for the week. It is very well located in the Burgundy countryside and in close proximity to a World Heritage town. We also visited many other towns as well as a day trip to Paris on the fast train from Montbard (about 20 minutes’ drive from Chateau Bourgogne). It was cold the week we stayed however the Castle was very warm and we spent several evenings in front of the enormous fire place in the main reception room. Highly recommended. We are looking forward to our next stay during summer, so we can use the pool!

Maison Forgeron is a fantastic house, four large bedrooms with bathrooms, plenty of living space, lovely garden with a great pool. It is decorated to a very high standard and extremely well equipped. In all, a perfect destination for a gathering of families.
The good life. We spent a week with family in this place steeped in history. A beautiful place. Kind owners. Ideal for a family stay.
