We had the most wonderful week at Maison des Communes. Philippe was charming and very helpful and informative in his welcome and what a lovely surprise to see a beautiful array of cheeses and wines awaiting us! The villa is extremely well furnished and supplied, a delight to relax in and very well situated for exploring the region and nipping down to the many beautiful beaches along the coast. The three different accommodation areas were absolutely perfect for our party of eight, allowing privacy and relaxation for everyone, although most time was spent round and in the lovely pool and letting the nights darken as we sat sipping the local wines in the various outside areas. There is much to do and see in the area and the villa was a real haven to return to each day. What a great week: fabulous breakfast treats, elegant and artistic furnishings, glorious heat and sun in late August and the happiest of holidays. Merci beaucoup, Philippe!
Château de la Ronde was fantastic, the family really enjoyed the holiday.
Niall, Steve, Sue and the team made us all feel most welcome and allowed us to make the place our own for the week, which was great and made for a very memorable holiday that was enjoyed by the whole family. Many thanks to all for making this possible.
Magnificent house in the middle of the fields, tastefully decorated. Fully equipped outdoor kitchen. Nothing is missing. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the deckchairs as well as the surroundings (medieval city of Chauvigny, Futuroscope).
Thank you so much for opening up this very special place to us. We have absolutely, completely and totally loved being here. The house is so beautiful and cool and the garden is absolutely amazing. We feel so lucky to have been able to come and rest here. We would definitely love to come back.
I have had one of the best holiday ever here. The weather was perfect and the pool cooled us down and provided a great source of entertainment. The beds were so comfy they got us ready for the next day. The bakery only a few minutes walk from here provided some delicious fresh bread each morning.
If you like the charm of the old, you will be won over. We particularly appreciated the layout of the house and the exterior. The fact that the swimming pool is in the low garden creates both security but also that the house remains very calm when there is commotion at the swimming pool! We played the most memorable games of ping pong in the shade of the majestic cypress trees and the children spent hours illuminating the castle, the immediate proximity of which is magical.
Another wonderful trip to Maison Coly! This was our second time here as a family and our daughter was only one back in 2019. Thank you for your hospitality and your fantastic property. Lovely to see you again.
Marie-Christine's house is ideal for a family, it is decorated with great taste, modern and airy. It has all the amenities and its location is ideal (supermarket, bakeries, shopping center, city center, train station, etc.) Marie is a charming person. She gave us advice and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend his house which is completely renovated. A fantastic week in Ventenac-en-Minervois. the house was perfect for our family. Happy evenings on the terrace and beautiful time. Cup - in very friendly and excellent café. Eric is so helpful. We will definitely return.
Thank you - we had a very nice stay in the holiday house! The beaches nearby and all the nice, old cities are all very worth to be explored. All in one - it was a wonderful stay for the kids and us.
Had a brill time. Carcassonne old town. Minerve, pretty. Local restaurants (good food). Grand cafe down the road in Felines. Minervois for a long lunch. Pool is a refreshing treat. Hope to be back.
Had a wonderful stay here. Very big! and Peaceful. Grounds are massive. All the little handy amenities cork screw, cake tins etc.) are provided. Would have been good to bring/know: A hot water bottle Wireless internet reception not good if you move away from the modem bc thick walls tend not to be permeable to the WiFi signal; Outdoor swimming pool is very cold especially if, like us, you don't bother to put the cover on.REALLY lovely.

As we drive north towards home we are reflecting over so many happy memories during this past week. Your beautiful home so full of character and comfort certainly made all the difference to our holiday. We loved it so much I am almost embarrassed to say we only ventured out once for a half day outing (to the lake!). We were all so happy just to be around the pool. We took full advantage of everything you offered... nightly boules, both upper terraces, BBQs, table tennis, the gorgeous private patio outside our room and all that the pool area had to offer etc etc. Dave loved Sonos (but never roused Alexa) and the path along the canal for him to run on... and the challenge of the gates which were fine in the end. The three grandchildren, 2½, 14 months and 5 months loved it all. In fact the one year old took her first steps in your front garden! It was a very special holiday for us all and we just wanted to say a huge thank you for opening your home to us.
We just wanted to let you know everything is great here and we are all having a wonderful time. What a fabulous house with so much character! It is working perfectly for us; we absolutely love it. We can't get over how well set up it is. And we are having so much fun in the pool. This is the perfect place for us! A very tranquil spot, with everything we could possibly need. In the 30 or so years we have been coming to France for our holidays I don't think we have stayed in a more lovely house. We have enjoyed our stay immensely, whether lying by the pool or venturing out further to the beaches or the Verden Gorges, all wonderful. This was the second time we stayed at La Maison Bosquetere. It is not without reason that we return to this place. Once again we had a very pleasant time for our holiday. A beautiful and well-equipped house in a nice location. Facilities are well maintained. Good base for the area. But also a perfect place to relax, while the children enjoyed the pool.
Thank you for a wonderful stay in oyur villa, Philippe. The perfect place for 70th birthday celebrations/family reunion. The pool is so well set up for relaxing, socialising and being able to keep an eye on the kids. After a week in the pool, our daughter was able to swim independently by the end! Thank you for your warm and friendly hosting: the welcome cheese, breakfast pastries, brilliant meal at La Tour de Montady, fabulous wine tasting at Saint-Chinian - it has all been so memorable and made the trip that much better. Other highlights have been many bike rides through the vines, a trip to Chichoulet Beach, discovering the butcher and pâtissière in Cazouls-les-Béziers and enjoying the local produce by the pool every evening.

For once, the house was better than the photos ! Quality and tasteful interior and magnificent garden. Well maintained pool. Lovely countryside walks nearby. Great local restaurants. Don't miss a visit to Minerve, a traditional Cathar town. A fabulous holiday.
