We had a lovely time at Corinne's apartment. It is very clean, had all amenities for daily living, she has thought of everything. Beautiful, peaceful location, amazing balcony to relax on. Full shutters and blinds on all windows and doors for complete privacy. It is a very calm and peaceful place to unwind and short walk to restaurants and right on the beach. Massive supermarket directly opposite which sells everything you could ever need including excellent seafood. Highly recommended.
A fantastic week in Ventenac-en-Minervois. the house was perfect for our family. Happy evenings on the terrace and beautiful time. Cup - in very friendly and excellent café. Eric is so helpful. We will definitely return.
Thank you so much for enabling us all to relax completely in your amazing home! Upon our arrival, you were so accommodating and kind, recommending we make ourselves at home. After a luxurious soak in your swimming pool (and bath!!) we settled down for a really electrifying night enjoying a storm that lit up the skies and land all around. The next morning was spent at Issigeac market, sampling the local food and checking out the boutiques and atelier craft shops. The rest of the day and next two days were spent relaxing, reading, painting and playing in the pool with our son. Your pool is amazing!! And the hours passed so quickly and James just didn’t want to get out. (You've created a wonderful piece of heaven Florence) The rest of the week was spent checking out the local area including: La Roque Saint Christophe and Maison Forter de Reignac to discover how things have changed here over the past 55,000 years of human settlement. (Highly recommended……along with a trip to Lascaux, Montignac - Amazing!!) Le Chateau de Biron and Monpazier between showers. This has proved to be a really relaxing vacation. We’ve had a fabulous time and felt very much “at home”. Thanks so much Florence.You’ve created a wonderfully luxurious abode! Au revoir!
We have had a perfect week staying in this gorgeous home. As much as we loved getting out and about, we have also loved spending lazy days around the pool - it has been quite a challenge to tear ourselves away! We managed it a few times though and between us the hits were serious cycle trips on quiet country roads, exploring beautiful little towns that are just all over the place, the odd château visit (Chenonceau is a must - get there early) and of course, just being in France. Thank you for allowing us into your very special home - you are lovely hosts and I hope our paths cross again in the future. Merci beaucoup!

A beautiful house and perfect for our four generation family holiday. The children loved the pool and the huge range of toys. They spent most of their time in the pool and playing with the garden toys. Beautiful rooms and everything we could possibly need provided. We enjoyed a family walk around the lake followed by an excellent lunch at the restaurant in the museum. Days out to Revel, Castres, Carcassonne and other local villages.

We have just had the most relaxing break in the best 5 star gîte. On arrival we were met by the owners Mark and Gary who were lovely providing a welcome package and drinks fridge which was a lovely touch The gîte itself is beautifully decorated and truly deserves its 5 star rating The pool and terrace area has everything you need with seating and dining area and a summer kitchen with barbecue and plancha It’s a peaceful and tranquil place to stay and we will definitely return
The house was very comfortable and the facilities were great it made a good centre for touring the area so we would be happy to recommend the house to anyone else.
Perfect little getaway. So pleased that we came to stay at Maison Meunier. The cottage was perfect for our family holiday with plenty of space for the four of us but still with that cosy feel. It was lovely to be able to come home after our exploring and relax with the kids by the pool in the afternoon sun. The location was great and we had more than enough options for places to go. Our family rented Villa du Château for four weeks, from late spring into summer. We chose it for its thoughtful yet understated blend of traditional French country style and the kind of amenities and facilities an international visitor looks for: easy access to village life, essential household supplies, excellent bathrooms and bedrooms, a beautiful swimming pool, and lovely gardens. From the moment our booking was confirmed, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism by our host, who is wonderfully attentive and experienced. Claire genuinely cares about her guests, and her attitude, her team, and the way she presents this home made us feel welcomed and appreciated from the very beginning, in such a natural and effortless way that we immediately felt at home. The fact that Villa du Château was once part of the magnificent château that overlooks the village, and now sits adjacent to it, is difficult to describe. It is truly something special. We left with wonderful memories and a deep sense of gratitude toward Claire and the people of Duras.
Fabulous elegant stay. Just returned from a fantastic stay at Manoir Capraise. We only had a week at this fantastic house but it was very memorable. The main house and gîte have been beautifully and tastefully restored. There is great quality and attention to detail throughout from the lovely terraces / landscaping / pool / vegetable garden to the quality furnishings and equipment . Many a lovely meal was enjoyed admiring the fantastic location from the multiple outdoor seating areas on the terraces. The gîte provided a great independent area for teenagers and the well equipped gym was a bonus, plans for a games room will further enhance this great property. We appreciated a lovely welcome package of local wine and produce, another quality touch. Thank you Mark and Sarah, everything was just perfect, we hope to return again.

Cottage du Jardin has been beautifully restored and is very comfortable and well appointed. The amenities are excellent and the pool is exceptional. The location is wonderful because it is close to so many attractions and to a number of excellent restaurants.
A truly magical week in the most magical Château – in a magical setting. Absolutely wonderful week. Everything was perfect – thank you very much to all the staff who looked after it all. We loved the enormous pool and being able to all thrash each other at the table football! We don’t want to leave! Thanks.
An extra stay with friends (a dozen with adults, teenagers and children) in a magical place... a natural site of great beauty, as magnificent day or night under the stars; a superbly renovated Mas, where the character of the old stones combines with great comfort (equipment, bedding, bathrooms, kitchen, etc.), space for everyone, huge rooms and more than careful decoration. original, each object, each piece of furniture is chosen with great spirit and arouses curiosity. Everyone found their privacy and activity of the day there (picnic by the river, shopping in very picturesque Anduze, reading by the swimming pool, Cévennes walk... and even revision of the Baccalaureate in a calm environment!). Very appreciable preparation of the place by the owners and attention to our arrival. See you next year for sure... We would like to sleep in all the rooms!

The home you have both created is warm, inviting and absolutely stunning. The attention to detail, the decor, the furnishings and the comforts have left us wanting for nothing and inspired. The three of us have loved meeting and feeding "the ladies", Connie and Peggy, and Boo (Bertie) was especially impressed with the digger. "Nice touch"... he thought. On our first house hunting trip we could not have me more friendly and welcoming people than you. La Jolie Vue does not only offer a magnificent view on the rolling hills, it was restored with much care and love !we thank you for your outstanding hospitality dare we say friendship. Herman will pick up the guitar again and hopefully we will find time to make music together soon.
We loved this place, which has magnificent views of Lake Annecy. Claude and Michelle were always very available to respond to our requests. A perfect experience.
This has been our first villa holiday and you have certainly spoilt us for the future! We don't know how Maison Albarels could be bettered. You have done a fantastic job in converting your old family home into such a lovely villa. Many thanks for your hospitality, especially your wine and juice on arrival and your lovely cherries - and also for trying to sort out the TV for us to watch the World Cup in English... Even if England were rubbish! We loved Carcassonne - we went once by car and once by walking along the Canal du Midi at Pezens. Also Château Pennaultier - a mini Versailles - was impressive and helpful staff in the restaurant / shop. Special mention to the lovely lady in the shop next door, always smiling and helpful even if our French was a bit limited!

We very much enjoyed our stay at your beautiful villa, thank you. We had a hire car so were easily able to explore the gorgeous local Languedoc region. Close by we had a wonderful time at the Seigneurie de Peyrat enjoying the choir of cicadas during our 'PIQUE-NIQUE CHIC' experience which was interactive and fun! We also hired a chef one evening to cook for us at the villa, which was a great success and truly delicious. Wishing you a successful Summer 2022 season and hope to see you again soon.
A lovely base for our 2 weeks! The outside covered area + kitchen were great. We spent most of our stay set there watching the amazing wildlife! We saw deer, lizards, hawks + even got to see the baby birds nesting over the door to the outside loo leave the nest! Monflanquin was beautiful! Cathy + Stéphane were lovely + we loved watching Stéphane's 2 CV car driving around! Thank you.
