We have had the most wonderful time in this lovely home. We all lead very busy lives and wanted a relaxing break, and this did just that. We all feel very relaxed after spending lots of hours by the pool. Even though it has been an extreme heatwave this week the pool has been a lifesaver! We enjoyed the market at Eymet on Thursday morning, and would recommend the Chez Marcel in Issigeac for some excellent French food, lovely by the canal. Mark has been super helpful when we’ve needed his help with any questions.
This place is perfect and we wouldn't change a thing! We especially loved your dogs. Russell and Karen are great hosts and super-friendly. Thank you for a brilliant stay at the Loft!
We had a wonderful couple of weeks. The accommodation was well equipped, spacious and very comfortable. Debbie was a fantastic host and really made us feel welcome. She was there to help without being intrusive. It was great to have her on hand for advice on days out, restaurants, etc. The gardens and pool were fantastic and well maintained. The area is beautiful with lots to explore but didn’t feel like a well trodden tourist path. We enjoyed visiting local markets, walking, activities on the river and exploring the local villages and wineries. We would highly recommend and hope to revisit soon.

We had a fantastic holiday at the property and to be quite honest, didn't want to leave. Glum faced we are looking back on our holiday snaps wishing we weren't back in the gloomy English weather, but sitting out on the glorious verandah! Your hospitality was second-to-none and the whole holiday faultless.

A perfect stay for a family Christmas. Plenty of room for 10 people. Beautiful bedrooms and bathroom. A very family-friendly living room, a superb and functional kitchen. We have really enjoyed our last week staying at Camirout. Our favourite places were Bergerac, Monpazier and the night market at Prayssas. All showcased the beautiful history of this area and exception food. The pool entertained the kids for hours. Many thanks. All our love Adams Family
We are returning guest since now more than 5 years. We love Villa Baleyssagues and Frédéric ! We love everything in the house and all the different changes/improvement in the house due to new ownership. Pool remain the same with its impressive shape ! The only negative point is that the house is rapidly fully booked !!!

Wow what a fab house! We had a brill time chilling in the garden and visiting local toddler friendly places... Would highly recommend the following:- Monkey village, paddling at Villefagnan and Cognac visit. We spotted red squirrels in the garden. We enjoyed it so much, with trips towards Narbonne, the Canal du Midi, Pézenas, Gruissan for the stage 16 of the Tour de France, as well as lots of time in the fantastic pool! you wer a great host, showing us your new wine cellar (I didn't drink all the wine!) and telling us your plans to make the house even better. My family had a fantastic 3-week holiday in La Barde, a beautifully renovated farmhouse. So fantastic, in fact, that we secured a repeat booking for the following year prior to departing. We found the property extremely spacious, sympathetically renovated, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for family day-to-day living. The securely gated pool is perfect for children and we all looked forward to cooling off there each afternoon after exploring the various local food markets and other wonderful excursions. The pool is actually quite large, which meant that the keener members of our party could exercise properly and swim lengths whilst the rest of us happily relaxed and drank local wines. The shallow end is ideal for young children to play or practice their swimming and there is a slightly separate paddling pool which is perfect for babies and toddlers. There is a barn area with a large BBQ, which we used most evenings, a ping pong table and lots of lawn games. The courtyard, lawn and gardens are obviously lovingly cared for and just beautiful. La Barde is the perfect setting for children to play and for family and friends to relax, talk, eat and drink. Helen and John gave us a warm welcome and were happy to help with any information we needed. They kindly shared some delicious fruit from their garden with us, which we very much enjoyed cooking and eating. We think this is the perfect place for groups of friends or families to holiday together and celebrate special occasions (it would be an amazing place to host a wedding or spend Christmas) because the size and the layout of the house and grounds mean there is plenty of space for more than one family to be together as well as enough space to have privacy. The location is ideal in terms of exploring the Dordogne. We would highly recommend booking this property any time of the year. We couldn’t believe our luck and can’t wait to return again this summer!

The Castle. We met up with our friends from Australia and Ireland (13 in total) at CDG and drove approx. 2.5 hours to Chateau Bourgogne. The manager was waiting for us when we arrived and despite it being a cool April day, the heating was on and the place was warm. Chateau Bourgogne is a magnificent property with about 10 bedrooms across three levels and numerous bathrooms (some ensuite) as well as numerous reception rooms, turrets, cellars and a dungeon. It is very well appointed and easily housed our party for the week. It is very well located in the Burgundy countryside and in close proximity to a World Heritage town. We also visited many other towns as well as a day trip to Paris on the fast train from Montbard (about 20 minutes’ drive from Chateau Bourgogne). It was cold the week we stayed however the Castle was very warm and we spent several evenings in front of the enormous fire place in the main reception room. Highly recommended. We are looking forward to our next stay during summer, so we can use the pool!
We had a wonderful week’s stay at this amazing chateau. We were a family of four (two adults, two teenagers) and couldn’t have wished for a better week. The pool was very popular, and the garden was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Michelle has renovated and finished the whole building with attention to detail and the pictures, as impressive as they are, don’t really do it justice. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Exquisitely renovated French manor house. This house was exquisitely restored with close attention to period detail. It is perfectly curated and integrated with antique fixtures and objects d'art as well all the modern comforts you could want. The kitchen is one of the most well equipped I have ever stayed in so the owners must be cooks. There are lovely spots to sit throughout the gardens with comfortable furnishings. The house itself is perfect for large families or a selection of couples. The location is ideal for touring Chagny, Beaune and the rest of Burgundy. Sigrid was incredibly responsive, helpful, flexible and kind. I can not recommend the home and Sigrid highly enough. We had a completely charming and comfortable stay. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home.
The most marvellous time Thank you so very much for letting us rent out your stunning house! We had the most marvellous time. Your furniture was so comfortable and I loved all of your paintings too - have made a few notes of some of the artists for my gallery here in Dublin! The kitchen too was so well equipped and it was great to have multiple indoor and outdoor areas for children and adults alike so that everyone had enough space and peace and quiet. Thanks too for the excellent local recommendations. You're so lucky to have lovely Patrick and Hotel de Commerce on your doorstep - many a fine lunch we had there, as well as excellent meals at La Baside in Barbotan les Thermes and simple pizza in the stunning square in La Bastide d'Armagnac.
We were so impressed with the quality of this home with a high contemporary finish in every room. The kitchen and lounge dinner opens onto an exquisite terrace with far reaching views and ideal for outdoor dinning . Loved the pool area with private patio. This is in the centre of a charming village with all amenities. The unspoilt coastline is stunning and to think it's under an hour from the airport. We would strongly recommend this home and we can't wait to return. Did we forget to mention it's also exceptional value for money.
Thanks for a lovely week in your fabulous holiday house, it was very kind of you to let us arrive early so we could easily visit the market. It was quite entertaining seeing the gendarmes trying to organise the market day traffic (and the usual bonkers French parking!) We have stayed in quite a few properties in the South of France but not managed to find somewhere that was both walking distance to a nice town and a high spec house. Yours certainly ticked both of those boxes. Especially with the weather not being on our side, we spent a lot of time in the house and really appreciated all of the luxury living area and kitchen features. The kids loved the pool (and it did stay at 26 degrees!), so we did manage to venture in almost every day, much to the amazement of some of the locals! Thanks also for all of the information and recommendations that you and Lisa sent through before and during our stay. It was very much appreciated and hugely helpful.
We had a fantastic holiday at Les Granels, the property was spectacular and was a very memorable family holiday.
