We spent a very pleasant week in Château Grandchamp de Chablis. The setting, the equipment, the swimming pool, everything is designed to make you feel good and for everyone! We thank the caretakers for their very friendly welcome. We strongly recommend this château, as well as visiting and tasting the neighbouring grape varieties.
Gorgeous House I just wanted to drop you a note to say how much we are loving staying in your beautiful house here! Everything works very well and we have had such a gorgeous, relaxed time among friends and family. You've imbued it with such beautiful little touches – it's felt homely and luxurious all at once.
This beautifully maintained property is less than two hours outside of Paris. We never wanted to leave the grounds, there is everything to keep the kids happy: miles to run, pool, tennis and playhouse. We adults lazed all day by the pool while the children run happy and wild on the enclosed grounds. The owner gave us wonderful recommendations for off the beaten path wine tastings. Make sure she shows you the mill across the stream where they make the best croissants and bread. The layout of the château allows for several families to enjoy a vacation together, while maintaining peaceful, private moments. Best family vacation ever.

Having rented holiday homes in France for many years I am sure that the welcome from Philippe was the warmest we have ever had. His kindness and generosity in providing a wonderful welcome pack comprising cheeses, bread, fruit, wine and a tart made our arrival very pleasant. The house is beautifully appointed and every need seemed to have been considered. The layout of the three buildings is particularly suited to large families with two large ensuite bedrooms in one block, a compact double in the pool house and a magnificent master suite in the main house. The facilities are exceptional, with a comprehensively equipped kitchen, air conditioning in the key areas, a great variety of outdoor seating (very comfortable) in sun and shade, a fantastic outdoor kitchen with barbecue and a superb swimming pool, all set in beautiful gardens. Philippe kindly brought croissants or pastries on the (very early) mornings he would silently clean the pool and another large selection of local goodies when changing the sheets after a week. The location is quiet and peaceful yet there are lots of interesting places to visit within a short drive. Béziers and the villages along the Canal du Midi provide lots to do and the coast is only 20 minutes away. This is an exceptional property which feels like a home rather than a rental and you could not fail to enjoy a holiday here.
We have just come back from having a fab week. It was beautiful. We had a week of wonderful hot sunshine which prevented us from using the wonderful sitting room and the fire. This would be a great place for the cooler parts of the year as well as the summer. Also the kitchen was probably the best equipped kitchen that we have ever had the pleasure to use on a self catering holiday. The Garden was lovely. All in all a great place.
It is a beautiful property, is very well equipped and worked very well for our group of 6.

A beautiful romantic setting carefully renovated by the owner to give a wonderful Provençal experience. The closeness to Gordes and all the other hill top villages nearby made this a dream vacation for myself and my family.
Le Clapier was absolutely beautiful, I’ve been going to France for the last 30 years on holiday and your house was head and shoulders above anything I’ve ever stayed in……The area is amazing and it’s a place that me and my partner want to buy in at some point. We loved the gift pack that we received when we arrived – very thoughtful.
We had a wonderful time at Château Grandchamp de Chablis in Burgundy and will certainly be back. All details of both the house and the care of the guests are carefully thought through and attended to and we had the perfect combination of privacy and feeling attended to while there. The property is beautiful and the owners have wonderful taste. The grounds have a myriad of eating spots and activities including swimming pool, tennis, lovely walks and a feeling of privacy. The owners are gracious and eager to be sure you have the resources to make the most of your stay with their long experience and knowledge of the area. A special holiday to experience a French home of this level and explore the extensive area of Burgundy not far from Paris. A rare find indeed!

What a lovely place to spend two weeks relaxing and enjoying each other’s company, the views from the table are a wonderful backdrop for every meal and the swimming pool has given hours of fun for the children and adults alike. Nyons market on a Thursday and Saturday was great with lots of variety and wonderful hustle and bustle. We would love to visit another time.

You were very kind whenever we had a question. We had a very good dinner at La Licorne, and joyous visits to Azay le Rideau, Villandry and Chenonceaux - all so much better restored, managed and presented than 20 years ago. Well equipped, nice pool and amazing views! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa. Corinne is a great host, quick to respond and accommodating. The house and especially the kitchen is very well equipped, it had everything we needed and we felt very welcomed. We loved spending the day by the pool and taking in the picture perfect views from the top terrace during the evenings. Seillans and the neighbouring area are a true gem, the nature, nice markets and plenty of local produce. Quiet area but full of life, just perfect. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it!
Thanks again for allowing us to experience your lovely house – we had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed very much staying at Domaine de Nérige, the house exceeded our expectations, in style, comfort and location. Your catering for dinner was wonderful! The shops at LeClerc had everything we needed, the vineyards nearby were great and so welcoming, Carcassonne was fascinating, Limoux was really nice and cycling along the Canal de Midi was delightful – but coming back to the house at the end of the day was so relaxing and the highlight! We hope to come back again hopefully sometime.

We had the most wonderful week at Maison des Communes. Philippe was charming and very helpful and informative in his welcome and what a lovely surprise to see a beautiful array of cheeses and wines awaiting us! The villa is extremely well furnished and supplied, a delight to relax in and very well situated for exploring the region and nipping down to the many beautiful beaches along the coast. The three different accommodation areas were absolutely perfect for our party of eight, allowing privacy and relaxation for everyone, although most time was spent round and in the lovely pool and letting the nights darken as we sat sipping the local wines in the various outside areas. There is much to do and see in the area and the villa was a real haven to return to each day. What a great week: fabulous breakfast treats, elegant and artistic furnishings, glorious heat and sun in late August and the happiest of holidays. Merci beaucoup, Philippe!
We’ve just returned from our third visit to Mas de Lozanne and if anything, the property is better than ever! There have been various improvements made - the addition of a wine fridge, sofas at the side of the pool, a better pool alarm - to name a few. We also noticed how much the trees and shrubs have grown, making very attractive shady areas in the garden - much needed as the temperature did not drop below 34 degrees! All in all, a wonderful stay in this lovely property. Lisa looked after us well and answered any questions we had. Highly recommended!
Unforgettable moments in the chalet. We came for a weekend with friends and each of us is unanimous: the quality of the accommodation, the care given to every detail and the kindness and responsiveness of our host convinced us all. The chalet was completely renovated by the host is a rare pearl as is the owner. We have created unforgettable memories and hope to be able to return as soon as possible. Thanks for everything.

Our son loved the trampoline and the swimming pool and our daughters loved playing under the shady trees in your beautiful garden. The roses are gorgeous and their smell filled our lazy days. Wonderful stay over the Easter weekend with a group of friends. Amazing house that had everything we needed in the most stunning setting. Sandie was great to deal with, really informative and responsive and made us feel right at home. The wine store in the house with amazing local wines at unbelievable prices was a real bonus!
Superb house that has preserved the charm of yesteryear. The exteriors are beautiful with a huge garden and woods adjacent to it. We had a very relaxing stay with our friends and children. We have had an amazing two weeks here in this lovely home. We have enjoyed exploring the local area. We loved kayaking and using a pedalo on the River Lot. Thanks Kate and Franz for creating such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Enjoying tea and coffee on our last morning we were joined by 2 deer - a lovely last moment. We are going to miss the house, the swimming pool and the beautiful meadow. Our highlights are Montcuq market, spending time in Lauzerte and Montpazier, two very pretty places. We have had some great food, especially at Le Caillau. It has been a special summer for our children, who have both had to endure exams and so it is fantastic that we as a family have been able to spend time together in this wonderful place. So pleased to have met you both and of course the little Lotte. Love from us all.
