We loved the site; very peaceful and relaxing, despite the suburban setting. Everything you need is here! Pézenas is a beautiful place and we also liked Meze, Tourbes and especially enjoyed kayaking down the Hérault river.
What a pleasure we had spending a week full of sunshine in your magnificent villa! Four adults, eight children... and everyone found what they were looking for. Beautiful house, superb garden, fantastic swimming pool!!! We made the most of it. Thank you for your kindness and your availability. You are really very helpful and friendly. We stayed at Maison Sainte-Croix in June last year and I have to say, we had a fantastic holiday. The spacious house is very comfortable and there is plenty of room for everyone. We particularly liked the choice of terraces to enjoy the magnificent views at different times of the day. We had many enjoyable afternoons tasting wine in the various local villages and were glad that we drove rather than flew so that we could take home some of our favourites! We found some very good restaurants in Vaison and the street market is well worth a visit. Many thanks!
We've had a great week with our two kids, 7 and 3. Wonderful pool, we also loved the outdoor kitchen area. We really enjoyed Chateau Bonaguil – simple but just the right size for our kids. Aux Étangs du Bos – we had a great time on the water slides, inflatable course and other activities! A short trip to Monflanquin was enjoyed with a crêpe! Thank you for being a great host Pete, it’s a great gite!

We loved staying here. Domaine du Château is full of character and very comfortable. With the giant wine press in the dining room and the vines across the lane, you certainly know you are in Burgundy. We really liked the mix of antique French furniture and original contemporary art works, so nicely done. The kitchen is beautiful and really well equipped and the market in Beaune is amazing for fantastic local produce. Apart from driving through all the famous vineyards and going wine tasting, we really enjoyed visiting the château at Rochepot and the ancient market at Nolay. The countryside is very pretty and great for walking, but best of all, was just sitting drinking wine on the terrace, enjoying the wonderful view and tranquillity. We booked the Eurostar to Le Creusot which made the journey really easy and quick. You can pick 'up a hire car' at the station and then it's just a short drive down quiet country roads which felt a world away from London. Would definitely recommend!
Glorious sunshine for us all week. We've had a lovely time exploring. The children pretended to be Rapunzel at Maison Baleyssagues and had a wonderful day the Lac de Lougratte. I jogged in and out of the grape wines, which was surprisingly exhausting. We all had too many croissants? Thank you for a terrific week in gorgeous setting.
Thank you for opening your extraordinary home to our extended family. Our holiday at Château Périgord surpassed all expectations. The beauty of the area and of your home are perfect compliments. We enjoyed shopping the local markets and cooking together in the inviting kitchen. We loved our time spent in the pool and playing badminton, as well as the time simply enjoying our pleasant surroundings and views. We explored prehistoric caves and Médiéval villages, we tasted wines of the region, visited famous châteaux, took canoes down the Dordogne river and always ended the day eager to return and enjoy Château Périgord.
We would like to say how much we enjoyed La Cigalière. The house and pool were lovely. Charlotte was most helpful and everything was just perfect for our holiday. We have been going to France for nearly 20 years and this definitely a go back to villa. Thanks for a lovely holiday.
Great house in a super location. So quiet and relaxing. Loved the coypu in the pond - a bit special! Visited lots of towns and villages with the Dordogne in easy striking distance. Had a great 2 weeks! Thanks!
The house and grounds are truly outstanding. Excellent facilities! The Wii provides welcome entertainment for the children (and adults) during breaks from the sun. The kitchen was very well stocked. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were very well hosted throughout. This was an exceptional holiday which I would not hesitate to recommend to others.
The owner is also very welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend La Maison Tolzac.

We had the most fabulous 2 weeks - Maison de Saint-Jean is amazing and it is so well equipped that we didn't lack anything at all.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maison des Cordeliers, it is the perfect location to enjoy peace and quiet after a busy day exploring. We hope to return!
Just a little note to say thank you so much for our lovely, restful, peaceful stay in your beautiful Loft. We're sure you saw we were well and truly exhausted after a summer running events - the Loft was THE PERFECT ANTIDOTE! All the little touches were noted and appreciated by us both and we spent a lovely evening enjoying many aperitifs with you. Many, many heartfelt thanks again. A truly fabulous house, super comfortable and well equipped with everything you could want. The incredible kitchen is a joy to cook in. The pool was warm and super clean. This was a really special place for our family holiday with lots of space to spread out. Clare gave us some great recommendations for places to visit and eat. Andy cooked us a delicious meal for us which is a real treat. The area is lovely and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards, unspoilt local towns and villages. We would love to return and show the area and house to other friends and family.
Thank You - If ever there was a place in which a family could be together after such a long time, if ever there was a place in which the sense of welcome, of peace and of the love of many generations, if ever there was a place in one's imagination of such beauty, both within and without ancient walls, then Le Malardier is that place. We have been sublimely happy and this week will remain hugely precious to us all.

We had a lovely weeks break at this beautiful house in this lovely old historic town. The food was lovely, the beach 20 minutes away was nice and quiet and our children absolutely loved it there as well as enjoying the lovely and very warm pool! The house itself caters for all your needs. A perfect week away at a beautiful house in the perfect location for you to enjoy all the area has to offer.
Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.
