We have just finished a two-week family trip. The house was simply great! Excellent facilities and the air conditioning in the rooms is a real life saver. The property is eccentric! And there are so many small terraces and places outside where we found that we never sat. The location is great for day trips and we enjoyed swimming in the pool after a busy day. We were a group of several generations and everyone loved it! The neighbourhood is great and within walking distance. Local bakery, local fruit and vegetable stand as well as access to supermarkets. Thank you for your unforgettable stay!
An absolute treasure of a place to stay with attentive hosts making sure our trip was comfortable and stress free. It's a home from home with the added delight of the sun, relaxing pool and sitting out of an evening with friends and wine. A luxurious spot with the most beautiful heated pool and views to the Mediterranean. The pool and its view absolutely makes this property. It is absolutely spotless, heated to a perfect 30 degrees and is an infinity pool which adds to the luxurious feel. There is a diving board and a fun water slide and there are foam pool loungers available too. The terrace is also beautiful with plenty of sunbeds and seating and a table for meals. Inside the property is spacious with some interesting antiques and the bedrooms are air conditioned, which is lovely even though there is plenty of shade on hot days anyway. The car can be parked right next to the villa for ease of carrying luggage and supermarket shopping etc. All in all Les Fumerates feels like a slice of paradise, peaceful and calm and difficult to tear yourself away from despite the easy proximity of the coast. The pool is the star attraction, always lovely to swim in even in late evening and with a slide, diving board and floating loungers if wanted. The terrace and pool are lit at night and the calm, luxurious atmosphere makes it almost impossible to leave despite its proximity to some lovely places to visit!
We have recently returned from our wonderful trip to Dordogne which we thoroughly enjoyed. Sia and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Maison Montratier was a beautiful place to stay when visiting this wonderful part of the world. We would highly recommend this home and area to our family and friends.
What a memorable time we had with friends along with my 5 years old daughter at the château. The owners are friendly and extremely generous, beautiful adorable dogs, my daughter is fond of them. The castle is rustic French style property with large windows directly opens to garden space and pool, the property is huge enough for every day walk, lush greens, canals, peaceful at the same time. The furniture and tapestry are well selected and stored beautifully. It’s a combination of modern comfort meets rustic luxury one could dream of. 5 - 10 minutes drive to local markets, boulangerie for delicious French breads. Amazing Safari zoo, my daughter and we had a great time. Great seas face restaurants are close by and a must visit. A perfect gateway to celebrate with your family, friends and loved ones.
Beautiful views, a lovely relaxing villa. We have really enjoyed the stay here. Minerve was worth a visit (town and caves), and the children really enjoyed it. The activities at the Carcassonne lake near Carcassonne.

A lovely, comfortable home in a beautiful town. Pézenas is a fantastic place - you have a great location here. Thanks for all the tips and ideas in your folder - you obviously love the area and love exploring! The 'Estivals' (wine and local producers offer their products in the streets in the evening) of Pézenas were great fun and right on our doorstep, every Friday night in July and August.
We have had a lovely relaxing weeknight at the castle. Wine tasting at the Chateau Grand Pierre. Night market in the village. Butchers and boulangerie I the village both excellent. Pleasant setting for pizza intent little square. House lovely. Setting on outskirts of the village was perfect for us. Thank you for sharing the home grown tomatoes from the garden.
Once again we have had a wonderful time here in your beautiful home. It has been so nice to come back here. The weather has been glorious, the pool fantastic and we have enjoyed ourselves immensely! This is the easiest and most satisfying review we've ever written. Quite simply, Mark and Gary are two of the warmest and thoughtful people we have ever met and they have created the most wonderful home in the perfect rural location that it almost seems too good to be true... but it isn't. Everything about La Charmante Distillerie encourages you to unwind and relax... whether it be the sumptuous and luxurious interior spaces, the pool and adjoining terraces giving shade and privacy or the surrounding woodland and rustle of the leaves on trees in the gentle cooling breeze. Early mornings and evenings were our particular favourite as we would just sit and listen to the silence whilst enjoying an espresso or cold Pineau. It was truly idyllic. Our daughters, aged 12 and 14 years old, were so happy playing in the pool for hours or relaxing on the terraces and in their own private snug that has been beautifully created. We would love to keep La Charmante Distillerie as our own little secret and not share it with anybody, but of course we can't. So regretfully we have to tell anybody that asks that we have found the perfect destination with the perfect hosts. C'est magnifique.
After a two-year pause in our travel arrangements we couldn’t have been more delighted with our visit to the Loft du Vigneron. It was everything - and more - than we had hoped for. Thank you both for your generosity of conversation, wine and gin!!! Good luck with the next phase of Le Domaine aux Quat’Saisons, not that we think you will need it - quite simply, it is stunning.
Fabulous! Amazing! Wonderful! We had a wonderful week! The view from the terrace only enhanced the local wines! We will be waiting to see your next project finished - it will deserve another visit.
You could not wish for more in a holiday accommodation. Everything about this place is perfect – the warm welcome by the hosts, the beautifully designed and furnished gite, the very special location and brilliant views over vineyards, forest and softly rolling hills, the helpful recommendations from Esther and Leonard. We only have one regret – and that is that we didn’t stay long enough.
What a beautiful location, breathtaking. A very warm welcome, you feel at home because of the fine reception. The hosts help you with everything you could want. The gîte is also spick and span and meets all your needs. Had a very relaxing holiday. Exactly as it should be! We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come here again.
What a magic place! We have loved every minute here. Pete is the most incredible host and we loved our evening chats. The kayaking has been the highlight, we loved Sarlat - Had a great lunch at Lou Podel and not forgetting the disco pool lights after dark. The kids loved it! We'll be back.
This is a wonderfully quiet place to spend time in Provence. Located within walking distance from the many attractions of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence its restaurants and its old town, it is a beautifully appointed home with an inviting swimming pool and check out the new pool shower - delightful. Within easy driving distance are a variety of wineries for your tasting pleasure.
Beautiful property in a stunning location. Set in a wonderful place. The owners are such lovely hosts always attentive and very helpful. They are doing a great job at lovingly restoring these properties with beautiful touches. We loved out time in the Lot, thank you so much.

The villa has been all we hoped for and more. The accommodation is superb as are all the facilities. What a bonus to have the (choose and order) breakfast deliveries,. The lemon cake was gorgeous. Would recommend the Tuesday market at Clairac Market. Our week was VERY HOT – so we made very good use of the lovely pool. We enjoyed walking / cycling into Mauvezin. The shopkeepers were all very friendly and welcoming. The villa was perfect for our family of 8. Would absolutely recommend it. Merci beaucoup Philippe, superb host and translator!
The house is lovely, with a very calm and welcoming atmosphere - more than met our expectations. We took you at your word in regard to helping ourselves to some tomatoes and grapes from the garden - The grapes in particular were delicious - Small things, but they add to the overall enjoyment of the stay.
Two weeks at Château Seyches to enjoy family, Dordogne and Garonne countryside, castle and wine and the amazing swimming pool... perfect holidays!
We stayed the fourth time here in Saint-Amand de Coly. We had a beautiful sunny week and a great stay in Maison Amand. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Thank you very much! We will come back and stay longer.

Very beautiful villa, tastefully renovated. We spent 3 very pleasant days there as a family. The big plus is having a shower room and WC for each bedroom. Ideal location to relax and walk along the Canal du Midi. We will gladly come back.
