We certainly had a restful and memorable holiday at Château Monjardin... the house and grounds are magnificent and provided a lovely quiet retreat that the whole family enjoyed.
We have been lucky enough to stay at Château Trieux a number of times and what a truly magical place it is! From the moment you approach the house, through fields of sunflowers, you feel transported into your dream holiday. Whatever your thing is - be it relaxing by the pool, playing tennis or just sitting by the river under the shade of the trees contemplating life - Château Trieux has it all. A visit to the market at Monflanquin is a must or enjoy a relaxing kayak along the river. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We will be back!
The gîte located in a beautiful part of unspoilt France, great for exploring near by villages / towns holding day and evening markets, driving through vineyards, so peaceful and yet great roads to explore Sarlat, Domme and others alongside Dordogne river. The gîte is extremely well equipped, downstairs is like home from home. Outside is delightful, pool idyllic with a selection of seating areas in and out of shade, the outside cooking area was the 'icing on the cake'. The owners are wonderful hosts.
So much to do and so little time. Bons vacances to all future visitors. But for now its au revoir.
We all enjoyed the stay at the villa. We liked the location - both in Lezignan and the fact that it is close to Pézenas and easy to get to other locations (we went to Carcassonne; Montpellier, Millau etc) Thanks you for making the bicycle available and the table football! It was also nice to have a pool - although we only used that once. A lot of useful information was also provided in the villa. We liked the fact that you contacted us personally - it offered us reassurance prior to our trip - thanks for your help. All in all we enjoyed our stay and if in the area would visit the villa again. We had a wonderful week staying in Maison Charvin, you have created a truly stunning home with everything and more one could wish for. Your kitchen is definitely the best we have seen in the many years we have been holidaying in France. We loved your garden courtyard and the delightful pool was a welcome relief on the days when the temperature soared. We found the people of Montlaur very friendly and enjoyed a great evening of food and music in the village square with the locals (the pizza was delicious). Montlaur is well placed for exploring the Corbières and Cathar countryside. The historic cite of Carcassonne is well worth visiting, as is Lagrasse. We had a great day at Leucate beach under an hour away. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us, it was a pleasure to meet you and your adorable dog.
Many thanks for your hospitality; we've very much enjoyed our stay at the Loft. You've clearly gone to a lot of effort to ensure that your guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. We certainly appreciated the supper that you provided for us on the first night - much appreciated after a day of travel. Drinks and nibbles in the garden with you both was also a lovely touch; always on hand, but never imposing. Best of luck with the next chapter of your renovations!
We had a wonderful couple of weeks. The accommodation was well equipped, spacious and very comfortable. Debbie was a fantastic host and really made us feel welcome. She was there to help without being intrusive. It was great to have her on hand for advice on days out, restaurants, etc. The gardens and pool were fantastic and well maintained. The area is beautiful with lots to explore but didn’t feel like a well trodden tourist path. We enjoyed visiting local markets, walking, activities on the river and exploring the local villages and wineries. We would highly recommend and hope to revisit soon.
We really enjoyed our stay in your house and wished we could have had more time. We spent most of our time in the garden, under the oak tree or at the swimming pool. The evenings are absolutely marvellous with the typical Provence colours and smells. It must be a great place also to spend some time in the winter. At that time it will be probably more time spend inside the house which is beautiful as well and very nice decorated.

We enjoyed a fantastic 2 weeks in this lovely house. The pool was very popular (due to the August heatwave - most days were 30 - 33 degrees). It was nice to be given a guided tour of the property by Yvonne and be welcomed with flowers and wine. The house has so much character - It would be lovely to learn a little more about its history and former occupants. We loved lots of the al fresco dining and one particularly memorable cheese and wine night in the candlelit wine cellar! Île de Ré, La Rochelle, Cognac, Marais poitevin are all we worth visiting. Make sure you take a look at the stars on a clean night - we spotted a few shooting stars!
Spacious, pretty and very well located house! We had a great week in your accommodation! Host attentive and available to answer questions. Accommodation next to the house (the atelier) is very good when two families stay, each has their own autonomy with their own personal space. We recommend this house without hesitation!
I had the most amazing time with my friends at this gorgeous château! The grounds are absolutely breathtaking, like out of a movie. The château itself is enchanting while still being super comfortable. We had a great time checking out the local towns and markets. Just such a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it!

The villa was just as described and was perfect in every way. We chose the villa because everything was on one level and the pool and terrace area were located very close to the main house. We had the most wonderful time and the arrangement of the bedrooms meant we had plenty of space to relax in. The BBQ area was well used. The air conditioning was welcomed during the warm Mediterranean nights. It was also the first villa we have stayed in where we were able to walk to the local town in order to buy our daily croissants. The service we had from Pure France and Philippe was exceptional. We were passing through for a weekend with friends. Christophe and his wife gave us a very warm welcome they are very attentive and attentive. We had a great stay in their house which is just beautiful.
We had a pleasant stay, the region is magnificent and reveals some treasures. Up to you to discover them !!! Lots of activities to do (pony riding, boat rides, Europarc, Lunaparc, jetski, city visits: Béziers, Cap d'Agde, Valras Plage... But our stay would not have been complete without talking about this wonderful villa which offers incredible comfort. The swimming pool is great and for relaxation, it's the best! Thanks to the staff. Thank you to the owners who understand the pleasures of their tenants. A big thank-you!

Fantastic villa. Villa Chiavari is and has everything one could wish for! Located perfectly with stunning views over the sea and great sun exposure throughout the day the villa provides high quality amenities only. Air condition, great BBQ, TV room, plenty of kitchen utilities and not to mention a great pool. We were 4 families in total but still had plenty of space. The villa is very child friendly (apart from the pool which always requires supervision anyway). There are plenty of beaches and good beach restaurants within 10 - 20 minutes driving distance. Shopping facilities are a bit further away so make sure to buy weekly supply first time. We hope to come back soon!
A beautiful house which we have enjoyed, lovely to swim in the pool, enjoy the views and sunshine. Very well equipped kitchen much appreciated, we shall return.
We would like to very highly recommend this grand idillic property in the tranquil rural setting of the Lot Valley. The quietness and peacefulness of the house and grounds is the perfect place to completely unwind, to read, draw, play boules, table tennis or relax with the family by the poolside area. The market town of Villeréal was particularly vibrant and trips into the Dordogne to Beynac for example is only an hour away. There is an abundance of local wines and vineyards to visit with exquisite cheeses and bread from the local markets. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We have returned totally refreshed and relaxed!
Amazing house. Feels very homely and comfortable on a grand scale. The pool was great and we had fun exploring the woods. Hosted very well, friendly and fun when rquired and hidden when not. Great, thank you.
Fantastic 10 days at Maison Joutard. The highlights:- Fantastic welcome pack. House and garden perfect for our toddlers. Equipped with everything we needed. We visited Cognac, Bordeaux, Villefagnan. Cycling to the bakery in Verdille. Whole experience highly recommended.
