Most beautiful spot in the South of France! The house was sensational. The vista is beyond. The kitchen motivated us to cook and eat on the patio every night. Proximity to all the area has to offer and the patisserie and vegetable market and town are all right at the foot of the hill. Ours hosts organised all we needed too - language tutoring for our daughter and extra housekeeping. 6 stars !
We booked Château Bellevue with the view of using it as a base for our golf trip. Prior to that we had no real experience of the Basque Country before and in the end played less golf that originally planned as there was so much to do and see! We were extremely lucky to be there during the Fete de Bayonne festival where the entire city turns into an open air party. On a foodie note, we generally enjoyed the many Basque restaurants and in particular the harbour fish restaurants in Biarritz and St Jean de Luz. The local golf courses were very varied but the highlight had to be the challenging Golf d’Biarritz with breathtaking terrain across the edges of the cliff edge with thrilling views of the coastline.
Would give 10 stars if I could- wonderful stay. The house was so clean and well prepared for us. Felt luxury rustic. There was great detail put into the design. Easy communication with the owner. Great location down a picturesque street and easy to get in and out of Gordes town. Would definitely stay here again.
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. Spending time in this lovely serene hamlet is heaven, overlooking the most calming landscaped from the house and terraces. The fully equipped kitchen is outfitted for foodies and in a setting with fantastic food markets just 15 minutes in proximity. The gardens surrounding the house are beautiful and have a fabulous pool. The is French countryside brilliance at its best.
In June, we stayed for a fortnight at La Picholine. In the middle of the vineyards. Plenty of peace, space and beautiful views. The pool is great and beautiful views there too.
Very lovely and welcoming residence. A haven of peace. The hosts are very available and very friendly. I highly recommend this calm and bucolic place.

A great stay. The chalet is 2 steps from the centre of St Lary! Patrice's welcome and all his good plans allowed us to discover the place in the best conditions. The jacuzzi terrace, the games room and the gym also allow you to spend a great holiday at home for those who do not like hiking or skiing. I recommend winter as well as summer!
We've had a fantastic holiday in this superb villa. We had great weather, food and wine! The villa is a really good base for visiting the Languedoc, Occitanie - we went to Carcassonne, Sète, Montpeyroux, Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert amongst other places and all within a short drive. The villa itself is really well equipped and has everything for a family holiday. 2 big supermarkets nearby and Pezanas is stocked full of restaurants and shops. The market on Saturday is amazing and well worth a visit. Thanks for a great holiday and we would thoroughly recommend the villa to others.
Just to say that we have enjoyed our time here enormously. You have the most beautiful home in a wonderful location! We only left the house twice other than to shop for food. Once to go to Château Bridoire (a good recommendation thank you) and Château Montbazillac and a second time today to go to an aqua parc. Thank you very much!

Fantastic holiday. We come to France a lot and this is one of the best places we have stayed in.
The space, the history and beauty of the surroundings. The swimming pool. The range of children's toys. The bedroom arrangements in the house that was perfect for 4 families. Maps and leaflets of things to do in the locality. The fans in rooms upstairs etc etc. In all we are sad to leave!
Hi future guest, The couple who own the property have poured so much love into every corner of the beautiful. home that you can feel it when you stay there. The place is so much more cosy and beautifully designed than the pictures give the impression. During our stay we said we wanted to listen to music and asked if there were speakers onsite. Karen and Russell said there wasn't but then went out and bought a pair for us to use! At one point we were cooking and I borrowed some olive oil, curry powder and a chilli pepper. I wanted to get a guitar and they told me where a fabulous music shop was and I ended up purchasing a beautiful guitar. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt beyond welcome. The place is a bit like a fairytale place, and they made our stay beyond what we imagined. It is an oasis and a sanctuary and close to many nearby sites such as Château de Rene and others. Highly recommend staying here.

An idyllic haven in the Gers countryside. The room was beautifully comfortable and had far- reaching views over the vines. Host, David, cooked us a sensational meal on the evening of our arrival as well as French breakfast of fruit, yogurts, bread and croissants, cheese, delicious preserves each morning. He was also a source of invaluable advice about the area - things to see and places to eat. A warm, welcoming chambre d’hote. Unhesitatingly recommended.
A lovely family house beautifuly equipped Immaculate property, all the bedrooms are great with the addition of air con in the master bedroom, great kitchen, bathrooms and perfect showers! British TV to keep the kids entertained. The pool area is sheltered and a real sun trap! Our favourite time was BBQ in the evening on the first floor terrace with beautiful views . Very convenient for a stroll onto the pretty village with bars restaurants and lovely markets. Superb unspoilt beaches only 20 minutes away. Highly recommend going into Narbonne only half an hour away, you must visit the indoor food market.
Beautiful seaside villa. We had a fantastic week with all our family. Villa Chiavari was perfect for all ages and offered plenty of space with numerous tranquil spots both on the balconies and the garden overlooking the sea. The recommendations from the owners on what to do were a great introduction to this area of Corsica. We look forward to staying longer next time!
