Three generations of our family enjoyed our stay in Helen's lovely, spacious, well equipped house with its beautiful garden, pool, boules court, summer kitchen and vue du château! Plenty of space, outside and in, as the heat allowed. The cooler basement provided table tennis, gym equipment and jigsaws, all completed during the extreme heat! Location was great for canyoning (Héric), kyaking (Orb), river swimming (Reals), karting (nr. Laurens), scuba diving (Montpellier), painting classes (Pouzolles) etc. Great local restaurants and bars (Roujan, Gabian) and small domaine wines to discover. The large Super U in Roujan has an excellent adjoining boulangerie/patisserie, open Sunday mornings too. Nothing lacking for a brilliant holiday!

Another lovely holiday spent in this area. The house was all we needed, just as the photos and descriptions had shown. The standard of the house and grounds were fantastic. Often in France the pools may be a little walk away from the house/outdoor living areas but this was a fantastic layout for all to enjoy all day and evening. The pool was the best part, fantastic condition and provided hours of fun for kids and adults alike as did the games room. The house was very spacious and all facilities/equipment provided were ideal. The little walk into the village across the fields for our morning bread and cakes and the close proximity to Duras and Eymet (the towns we enjoy visiting) meant this was a great location.
Firstly what an amazing location for a holiday home! we usually opt for the French countryside and open, green spaces but you really have found the best solution here, with the peace and tranquility of the house and garden, coupled with the convenience of have the town of Carcassonne on your doorstop. we hugely enjoyed both and there is nothing better than walking to get your croissants in the morning or strolling out for drinks or dinner! The owner warmly welcomed us after a long journey and were spot on at suggesting places to go or recommending places to go or recommending places to eat. The house itself is beautiful and we love the mixture of old and new together. Thank goodness for the pool and the cellar cave to keep us cool in the summer heat! We have throughly enjoyed our holiday in your beautiful house and Carcassonne is such a friendly and spectacular place. Hope to return!
We had a lovely week at Mas de Rivailles and would absolutely consider returning. The photos do not do the house and grounds justice. The property is beautifully presented and is very well-equipped. We enjoyed the morning walk to the local boulangerie over the fields. The pool was lovely and our older teenage daughters enjoyed the games room. We're reluctantly offering a review as we don't want the property to be fully booked for next summer... Frederic the property manager was very attentive but not intrusive with high quality prompt communication. We would rate Mas de Rivailles 5 stars.
We had a lovely weeks break at this beautiful house in this lovely old historic town. The food was lovely, the beach 20 minutes away was nice and quiet and our children absolutely loved it there as well as enjoying the lovely and very warm pool! The house itself caters for all your needs. A perfect week away at a beautiful house in the perfect location for you to enjoy all the area has to offer.
Like the previous years, the two weeks at the villa have been wonderful! The house is wonderful, the pool and the closeness to the sea are great. We will certainly be back again.

We recently stayed for two weeks at this beautiful house and were overwhelmed by its beauty and setting. The house is spacious and extremely well furnished with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic relaxing break. A lot of care and thought has gone into the decor and furnishings giving a real homely feel. Fresh flowers in the rooms added to the warmth of our welcome by Frederic, the house manager and Elisabeth and Marian had ensured that everything was immaculate. The town of Duras is close by and we enjoyed the Monday morning markets as well as trips to Bordeaux (by train from Marmande), St Emilion and the wonderful Château de Fayolle where we had an amazing lunch, vineyard tour and wine tasting. This is a beautiful part of France where we have made many happy memories and hope to return one day. Our thanks to the team at Maison Baleyssagues for making our visit so special. Worthy of mention is local driver Mark Pope who provided transport for us during our trip. He needs to be pre- booked but will get you where you need to go if you don't want to drive!
Thank you so much for opening up this very special place to us. We have absolutely, completely and totally loved being here. The house is so beautiful and cool and the garden is absolutely amazing. We feel so lucky to have been able to come and rest here. We would definitely love to come back.

The house is great. Lovely warm pool, table tennis table, huge grounds, lovely area, lots of culture nearby, nice local town with excellent market.

We have had a wonderful week in your fantastic home. It has been so peaceful and tranquil here by the pool. Seeing the amphitheatre at Nîmes and canoeing under the Pont Du Gard were the highlights.
We have just had the most relaxing break in the best 5 star gîte. On arrival we were met by the owners Mark and Gary who were lovely providing a welcome package and drinks fridge which was a lovely touch The gîte itself is beautifully decorated and truly deserves its 5 star rating The pool and terrace area has everything you need with seating and dining area and a summer kitchen with barbecue and plancha It’s a peaceful and tranquil place to stay and we will definitely return
Thank you for letting us stay once again. I wish I could stay longer! I love playing in the garden - it makes me feel really happy because it has lots of space to play in. Sam has really enjoyed roaming around and playing with Mack and Mabel - I have too. Hopefully to see you soon in October and definitely next summer.
A true haven of peace! We had an unforgettable stay in this magnificent country house. The swimming pool is perfect for cooling off and soaking up the sun, while the large terrace offers stunning views of the village. The house is spacious, well equipped, and the atmosphere is calming, ideal for recharging your batteries away from the hustle and bustle. A place that I highly recommend for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Perfect for a relaxing holiday. First impressions were better than the photographs. We wanted a relaxing family holiday after a very hectic year and that is what we experienced. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful but left you completely alone unless you needed something. The villa itself is spotless, beautifully laid out and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Outside is incredibly peaceful and we spend the majority of our time by the pool.. Yet although it feels beautifully isolated it is in fact only minutes from shops and lotes of things to see and dol Will definitely return if we are able.

Perfect villa, lovely hosts and amazing view. Wow, this villa is just perfect in every way! It's beautiful, peaceful, clean and is very close to Saint-Paul-de-Vence which is gorgeous. The owners were so lovely to us, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The whole week felt so luxurious and comfortable and the pool was devine! We will almost definitely be returning here as we had a fantastic week. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt so relaxed and cared for! What a fantastic spot you have created here in beautiful L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home. Our family has had such a wonderful time in this little oasis. The only difficult part of our stay has been forcing ourselves to leave the sanctuary of the house! We are quite sure that we will return and will be creating a surge of tourism from far off Western Australia - sending them all to stay with you. (they will surely feel at home). Thank you.
Lovely place to stay, enjoyed being able to walk to the cafes and shops. Highlights; cycling to Chinon own hire bikes. Lovely walk through vineyards to the soap museum/shop. We had some extremely hot days (37 degrees) so went to Lac du Grezillé. Loved Saumur and Chinon, highly recommend Château Bréze.
