The combination of lovely accommodation, beautiful surroundings and the swimming pool made Piglet Barn a wonderful place to stay. In addition to being an interesting and picturesque village, Vouvant is a great location for the start of circular bike rides and walks. We especially enjoyed the riiverside walk, the Sentier des Rives. The Saturday market in Fontenay provides an enjoyable shopping experience. Many thanks for a great holiday.
A truly fabulous house, super comfortable and well equipped with everything you could want. The incredible kitchen is a joy to cook in. The pool was warm and super clean. This was a really special place for our family holiday with lots of space to spread out. Clare gave us some great recommendations for places to visit and eat. Andy cooked us a delicious meal for us which is a real treat. The area is lovely and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards, unspoilt local towns and villages. We would love to return and show the area and house to other friends and family.
A perfect villa with a perfect property manager. We are six retired Americans who travel together often. The property manager is most responsive we have dealt with. If messaged at a reasonable hour she respond in minutes. Now add to that a wonderful modernised property in a wonderful location and you get what we got, a perfect vacation. The property manager arranged a driver and a cook and both were outstanding. The property has stunning views and easy access to rail, within walking distance of fine restaurants and the privacy all renters seek. If you are visiting the south of France and you want to be a short distance from all things and a short train ride to Cannes and Nice, you cannot do better than this property and you will not find a better property manager. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.
What a fantastic week! The house is absolutely beautiful and very well stocked, had everything we needed, particularly the outdoor area - BBQ every night! The staff could not be more helpful and we felt instantly welcome. We are going to book for next year when we get home!
So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. The most beautiful property I’ve ever stayed in! The pool area is great for large groups and the activities are endless. Scott and Rose-Anne are a dream as hosts and are always on hand if anything is needed but no imposing.
From the warm welcome that we received on arrival, to the thorough introduction into the Loft du Vigneron's facilities - which are considerable - and the wealth of advice on the local area, restaurants and places to visit, Karen and Russell did everything imaginable to ensure that we had a really memorable and relaxing holiday. Naturally, we are very sorry to be leaving this morning, but hope to have the good fortune to return again. Every good wish to you in your new venture, which we're sure will be as successful, if not more, than the Loft.

A really fabulous time had by all 9 in our 'gang', you have left no stone unturned here in this great house. Location is perfect, Revel is a smashing town with everything you need whilst still retaining the feel of a rural French setting. A holiday none of us will forget. This holiday has been great! I have really enjoyed playing in the pool and running round the huge garden for exercise. Written by a teenager pretending they are 48!

We had the most wonderful week at Les Rocans last week. Please would you pass this on to the owners. We have stayed in France annually and many times in between, over the past 45 years and Les Rocans beats them all for outlook, atmosphere, amenities, beauty and suitability for our growing family. We all just loved it!

Lovely old place restored by Frederic. We were lucky enough to be there for the festival in Sauve which was great! Far too hot to go hiking in the hills but managed trips to Uzes ( beautiful) and of course the Haribo museum for the kids. Pool cover needs 2 people and doesn’t come all the way back but it’s for safety. Kitchen well equipped for a large group. Really enjoyed our stay!
A dream come true! Your house is truly lovely, and I congratulate you on the light airy way in which you have furnished it, with a Provencal flair. The kitchen was so charming, particularly well arranged and well stocked; opening up the table with the additional leaf, we had our breakfasts there, and it was always a delightful way to start the day. The pool was a great hit, and the enclosure provided us with the necessary feeling of it being safe for the three little ones. Again I congratulate you, for this area is very well designed and laid out. However, it is the terrace outside that was my favourite part of the property, we had a series of fabulous dinners, and I shall remember it always with great joy... especially the moment I stepped out of the car to approach the house, and taking in the lawn, the roses and olive trees, and the marvellous backdrop of the vista before me, I entered the covered terrace and smiled... for it was a dream come true! My heart flutters to remember it now!
What to say about this too short stay during which we had a great family vacation. From the very pleasant welcome of Karine and Pascal, from our great exchanges, from their listening to the needs everything was perfect. Charming owners and an incredible cottage where the days go by too quickly. We will miss the fishing pond and the donkeys and deer. Again a huge thank you for everything. We will be back.

Thank you for a lovely stay. The house is so comfortable and a great base to explore the region from. Highlights were Dinan, Le Mont-Saint-Michel and Faugères. We also loved driving through the countryside. The boulangerie in Bazouges-la-Pérouse was fantastic! We loved the welcome basket - it was such a thoughtful + helpful gift. An absolute gem of a house! We came here for a fortnight with a mixture of friends, family and even a cricket team (touring France). And we had the most delightful stay. It really feels like a luxurious home from home, with lovely comfortable furniture, beautiful spacious grounds, a first rate tennis court and pool and a beautiful 'bolet' (veranda) on which to sit and enjoy the local wine… Highly recommended!
I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic holiday. The only terrible part was leaving! The house was perfect and we all fell in love with it. And the views were wonderful from every room. The whole family have lots of happy memories of our 2 weeks there so thank you.
