A truly wonderful 2 weeks in this magnificent place. The drive, the views, the rooms - all very special in their own way. 2 weeks is not enough!
This lovely rural farmhouse provided plenty of space for our extended family of 6 adults and 3 children (aged 13 and 4) to spend a relaxing week in a more peaceful area of the Dordogne. The pool was a huge hit with adults and children alike whilst the many outside areas allowed space for both sun or shade throughout the day. In addition to games described there are lots of toys for younger children including a new sandpit which ‘appeared’ whilst we were there. Would recommend.
Thank you for a wonderful stay! The house and views are gorgeous. We loved visiting Saint-Clar, Condom and off course Lectoure, which has everything you could wish for including the fantastic spa. What a relaxing treat!

We were so lucky to be able to stay in this beautiful house. So quiet in the garden, sipping drinks relaxing by the pool, yet the bustling town centre is only a few minutes walk away. The markets on Wednesday and Saturday are well worth a visit. Recommend Le Regent for food located in the old town. The house itself is charming, with everything you need for a perfect holiday. Even with the high temperatures outside, the house was lovely and cool inside. We had a fantastic time and hope to return again soon.
You have been excellent hosts - helpful but never intrusive. The Loft is a lovely place to stay - stylish, comfortable and very well equipped for a baby. A cool, wet start to the week was more than made up for by Karen's delicious cake! It has been such a pleasure discovering this corner of France.
The house and the grounds are fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area. The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc comfortable. The kids loved the swings etc and the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. The food was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. Magnificent residence on the edge of the Château de Duras. Neat, tasteful decoration and very comfortable bedding. We spent very pleasant moments all day long around the swimming pool which has its own summer kitchen. Nice aperitifs on the terrace with a splendid view of the cypresses at sunset. Walking distance to the center and all shops. We loved it and really hope to come back.

Thank you for a great 2-week stay here. The house is lovely and we have enjoyed staying here. Can highly recommend the Château de la Rivière vineyard tour, 10 Euros per person and well worth it. Best meals out we had were at Bistro Pharell (the food is sooo good!) and Bistro Maritime in Libourne - great river views from the terrace. Saint-Émilion is a must - so beautiful. If you are a fish lover, a trip out to Arcachon is well worth a visit. Chez Pierre is amazing for seafood. Dunes du Pilat are also worth the climb for the spectacular views! Sunny evenings by the pool are also amazing. Had a great time overall, thanks so much.
A stunning villa perfectly set up and loved by our children. The extra touches like coffee machine, Lego for the boys to play with, a bottle of champagne to welcome us on arrival were excellent. The boys loved the heated pool, walking into town for bread / croissants in the morning and lunch on the terrace. Some excellent restaurants in town including Chez Paul, Maison Conti, La Ripaille, Les Palmiers and La Pomme d'Amour. The Pedahorail is not for the faint hearted. Had a lovely holiday. Thank you!
We would like to very highly recommend this grand idillic property in the tranquil rural setting of the Lot Valley. The quietness and peacefulness of the house and grounds is the perfect place to completely unwind, to read, draw, play boules, table tennis or relax with the family by the poolside area. The market town of Villeréal was particularly vibrant and trips into the Dordogne to Beynac for example is only an hour away. There is an abundance of local wines and vineyards to visit with exquisite cheeses and bread from the local markets. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We have returned totally refreshed and relaxed!

We've had a super time in the house, made some fabulous meals, enjoyed al fresco dining and of course the pool! We enjoyed exploring especially Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi. We’ve had an amazing two weeks at this gorgeous property. On arrival we have been overwhelmed by the beauty of the house. It has been lovingly designed to a very high standard and certainly has the “wow” factor on arrival. Frédéric and the staff were very helpful and made our stay very special. An absolutely perfect location for our family holiday and we enjoyed some great day trips and some fab local food and wines (as well as a couple of lazy days by the pool!) We had just the nicest time and all of the info and instructions were so helpful. We couldn’t have really asked for anything more.
Beautiful Home with Large Gardens and Heated Pool. A very special place. The house is spacious and the layout gives plenty of areas to relax. The garden and pool is beautiful. With woodland views, there are lots of seating areas and loungers, a hammock and games to play in the huge grassy area. And the pool is perfect. Sam is a super host, happy to help and is kind and fun. If you love yoga, then there is the chance to have a session with Sam in her beautiful yoga studio. We had the best time. Thank you!
We have stayed here three weeks. For the first week our family joined us our three sons and partners. This house is full of beautiful objects and we have loved being in it. We have enjoyed the lovely gifts of pastries and bread brought by Phillip. Thank you for those and also the amazing meal that included a cake for my 70th birthday. We have been to the walled city of Carcassonne - well worth a visit. We have been to the beach and our here has been lovely. We are sad to leave and will miss the bird song. I am afraid the cat was not welcomed by our two Pugs and was chased away. The wine tasting at Saint-Chinian was amazing. We bought bottles of wine with amazing art labels as the cave was decorated with such great art-work. So worth the visit. Thank you for the taster wine and for the introduction.
A challenging end of year led to my very last minute search for somewhere special to stay for Christmas. We jumped for joy when your Loft showed as available for 8 days arriving on Christmas Eve. Throughout the five hour drive from Cannes, I stressed about finding a tree and decorations to make the holiday perfect. To my utter AMAZEMENT, the Loft had been fully decorated beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you so much for all your very thoughtful and generous touches. As a seriously experienced traveller, I can assure you that exceptionally few hosts go to the same lengths as yourselves. You made our Christmas very SPECIAL and, dare I say, UNFORGETTABLE!
