This villa was the perfect place for a two family holiday. The pool was very cool and refreshing after a hot day of sight-seeing / shopping! The whole two week trip was plenty relaxing and a lot of fun! This house is gorgeous. We will not forget this trip! P.S. a great pizza place down the road!

Thank you for a very relaxing holiday in your fabulous house. We will long remember our lazy days by the pool. The house had everything we needed - a real home from home, with bags of French character.
We are a family of 5 with 3 teenage kids. From the first day, we settled in and found it very difficult to leave after two weeks. The owners have not only created a wonderfully rustic house, but it has been very well thought out, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for a family of 5. This is complemented by one of the best settings you could imagine - gently rolling hills set back from a quiet country road. Being a sporty family, we used the beautiful pool every day. Most private pools in France are under 10 metres, so we really appreciated the full 13 metres to swim some laps. Much to our delight, there was an outdoor badminton court and boules area. The big, flat lawn at the top of the property was the perfect place to kick some balls around. The surrounding area is a delight to discover. From limestone caves, to underground churches carved out of the hillside, to charming market towns, to river 'beaches' for cooling off, the area never seems crowded. All this, coupled with the exquisite food and drink from the region (at exceptional prices), makes this an area that the discerning tourist should not miss. We cannot recommend staying here highly enough. The owners, who live next door, are the perfect hosts. They never once intruded on our privacy, but were more than happy to chat and provide advice, if asked. We look forward to returning!
It is early spring. My husband and I decide to go to the South of France for a fortnight. Our eye has fallen on Les Oliviers du Sud. It is in the Gard region and close to nice places. Like Uzès, Nîmes, Avignon. What a surprising place on arrival. Two enthusiastic owners, proudly showing off their new domaine. There are two gîtes. A large swimming pool, several terraces and expansive views. Our gîte is very comfortable. Spacious living room with dining kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bedroom is very spacious with good mattresses. Large bathroom with two sinks. As it can be quite chilly in the evening in spring, this cottage has a wood-burning stove with hot air conditioning. It is comfortably warm then. The garden is tastefully decorated. You have your own privacy and that choice is nice. We had a lovely two weeks here and will definitely come back next year. Thank you Esther and Leo for your hospitality.
We had had this property booked since 2020 to celebrate my 70th birthday together with my son and his family. This was part of a four week French vacation. The property was just as we had hoped. A typical French Château, very roomy filled with antiques. The owners were very helpful and accommodating to our every need. It was well equipped and the grounds were delightful. The pool was very much appreciated as the weather was unseasonably hot. We all enjoyed our holiday and would love to return again. Thank you.

Pete was a great host and made us all feel really welcome from the start. We made full use of the wonderful pool. Ella (6) learnt to swim without armbands by the end of our week and Dhilan (4) spent more time in the water than anyone. We had a slow-paced week which suited us perfectly, but did enjoy Chateau Castelnaud with the kids and market day in Monflanquin, especially the Loubet seller.
Immaculate! Everything was soptless. We had everything we needed. Thank you for accommodating us. Love the pool! The BBQ was great for evening meals altogether. The Games Room, DVDs, board games and books were a great addition. What a lovely stay. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great, relaxing stay! Thank you!

This property is an oasis of calm, exquisitely redeveloped and fitted out without losing the charm and character of the original distillery. Equipment, facilities, decor and soft furnishings are of the highest standard. We had the best time. A beautiful villa and pool with access to a good range of restaurants/pubs. Thank you so much for your generous deliveries of breakfast. Super meal at Restaurant 781. We spent most of the holiday relaxing by the pool. Had a couple of visits to the locks (Canal du Midi). Very beautiful and the bus into Béziers was fun. Our two-year-old grandson wanted to stay in our holiday house and told me he didn't want to go back to Orpington! I'd quite like to stay here too.
Watch out, as we are definitely starting to feel at home at beautiful Lamolene and surrounds. Thank you so, so much for our wonderful, special break.
Where to start, we have had such a wonderful week we have loved everything about this house and grounds. It is the best house we have ever hired as a group and Mike and Natalie have gone out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Just to mention a few of the many things we loved about the house, the fantastic swimming pool, the incredible views, the activities provided, the comfortable beds, the beautiful seating areas in and out of the house, the breakfast area, the bathrooms... and of course Myrtle the cat who joined us every morning for breakfast. Best of all it was a fantastic place for Grace and Ken to get engaged to be married! Thank you so much for the opportunity to hire this beautiful home. We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very nice, bright, very well equipped. The large terrace overlooking the small harbour and the sea is at the top, with the sound of cicadas. The living space is very bright and pleasant to live in. The kitchen is very well equipped. Local shops, including a large Giant Casino, are accessible by car, on Beaulieu, 5 minutes by car. Even if access to the station and bus is quite simple, prefer the car... or the boat, because the port is at the bottom of the building.
Well, what can we say other than we have had a ball and our 'musicals' night with you both will enter the folklore of the families. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality, friendship and laughs - what a holiday! We've loved every minute of our holiday. The Loft is superb in every aspect. As hosts we could not have hoped for a more welcoming, friendly and helpful couple - you are amongst the chosen! Thank you so much for helping us have such an amazing holiday.

What a beautiful and large house; Nice combination of old and modern. Lots of space. Very nice games room and amazing pool with salt water. We had really great time.
We were a group of 20 (5 families) and had a wonderful week! The rooms are very comfortable (aircon, great beds), the kitchen was perfect for a large group, the pool was large and clean (not even a bug in the water, thanks to the overflow system). Everything is nicely decorated and brand new. The location is just beautiful with wonderful sunsets. We had a lovely visit at the wine cellar of the domaine and did a wine tasting. We visited Saint-Tropez and the Pampelonne plage (1 hour drive), Cotignac (40 min), Île de Porquerolles by catamaran from Hyères (1h) and did canyoning in the Gorges du Verdon (2h drive). So plenty to do but you'll need to spend some time in the car. And last but not least : Thomas is a great host. He is always available and willing to help in every possible way.
