Our stay at Maison Sebastián in October 2025 was exceptional, with glorious late-summer weather setting the tone. Before arrival, Kate, the owner, sent a friendly and informative email introducing herself and providing detailed guidance about the property. Her suggestion to contact François, the property’s caretaker, was invaluable. He met us in the village and guided us to the secluded house—a short, scenic drive that revealed its tranquil and picturesque location. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the sweeping valley views and endless forests below. The grounds and the house are meticulously maintained. François warmly welcomed us and gave a thorough tour, starting with the charming, shaded entrance. Inside, the open-plan kitchen and dining area—with its cozy fireplace—immediately made us feel at home. The kitchen was well equipped, and a thoughtful welcome hamper of local produce awaited us. Inspired by the beautiful setting, I used a Rick Stein cookbook I found there to prepare a Provençal-style roast chicken—a meal my husband now insists becomes a regular at home. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace overlooking the landscape, a perfect start to the day. Evenings were spent by the fire in the kitchen’s sitting area, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and the abundance of prepared firewood. The super king-sized bed ensured a restful night, and the shower offered flawless water pressure and temperature—attention to detail that made a difference. The pool, set against the panoramic backdrop, deserves a full 10/10. Every aspect of the property reflects quality, care, and comfort. For stargazing enthusiasts, the clear night skies and absence of light pollution make this retreat truly magical. We left deeply impressed and in love with this property—its peaceful seclusion, impeccable maintenance, and romantic charm make it a perfect stay.
Fantastic barn conversion, amazing location and wonderful facilities including a large swimming pool. Would highly recommend. The owner was super helpful throughout. The local villages have all the shops and services needed. We loved the rolling hills for jogging.

Nothing was too much trouble, every request for information assiduously followed up and always discretely so you never intruded on our privacy. Along the way we feel we’ve made a new friend. The property itself is beautiful and immaculately maintained. Equipped with everything we could possibly need, we lacked for nothing. Nestled in amongst the vineyards we were fortunate enough to be there in time to watch and participate in the harvest. You even arranged for us to sample the wines made from the vineyards in the area. It was impossible not to take some home with us. Lots to explore, amazing restaurants, we fell in love with the Lot. We can fully appreciate how this haven stole your heart. Having holidayed over many years in France, this was definitely the highlight of all our travels. A very tranquil spot, with everything we could possibly need. In the 30 or so years we have been coming to France for our holidays I don't think we have stayed in a more lovely house. We have enjoyed our stay immensely, whether lying by the pool or venturing out further to the beaches or the Verden Gorges, all wonderful. Thank you for sharing your well loved home, the view from the swing seat is to die for!
Wow, what a great place! During our stay there was nothing else we could have wished for. The awesome pool area, the great BBQ, the comfortable (sun)beds and beautiful bathrooms; everything was top notch. Enjoying the local wines, the pretty surroundings and fantastic golf course with our friends made this stay like it should be... Holiday! We hope to come back!

Thank you! We have spent a glorious week at The Loft, which feels like a home away from home. You have been fabulous hosts, and your suggestions of places to visit and vineyards to try have been spot on. After ‘confinement’ in Paris for many months, the pool was a joy. We love the garden and it’s shady spots and enjoyed Mack and Mabel’s company. We can see why people return to this wonderful place, and we hope to be one of them very soon. An oasis of peace and tranquility, beautiful sunshine, loved the pool and spectacular veiws. Nyons is a charming place with a great market, we had a delicious meal at the Charette bleu. We feel rested and restored, thank you.

It was a good holiday... enjoyed by all... but without doubt the venue and host were the stars of the show and we are so pleased to have had this opportunity to spend time with you and discover the area. We spent a fantastic week at Villa Bellara in May 2026. The property was immaculate and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our group consisted of four couples, and the villa was so spacious that each couple enjoyed their own private floor. Every bedroom was air-conditioned, comfortable, and included its own en-suite bathroom, which made our stay particularly convenient. The kitchen is large and very well equipped, perfect for preparing meals, and we also made great use of the Weber gas BBQ. The heated pool was excellent - we used it every day and it was a real highlight of the villa. The location is ideal: set in a quiet residential area yet just a 15-minute walk down to the beachfront, where there is a wide selection of bars and restaurants. There is also a nearby supermarket and several boulangeries within easy walking distance. Public transport is very accessible, making trips to Nice, Cannes, Monaco, and beyond simple - there's no need to hire a car. Jean Luc, the owner, was extremely welcoming and took the time to explain everything about the villa on arrival. He also made it clear that he was available if we needed anything during our stay, which was greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend Villa Bellara and very much hope to return in the future.
We were passing through for a weekend with friends. Christophe and his wife gave us a very warm welcome they are very attentive and attentive. We had a great stay in their house which is just beautiful.

We have just had the most relaxing break in the best 5 star gîte. On arrival we were met by the owners Mark and Gary who were lovely providing a welcome package and drinks fridge which was a lovely touch The gîte itself is beautifully decorated and truly deserves its 5 star rating The pool and terrace area has everything you need with seating and dining area and a summer kitchen with barbecue and plancha It’s a peaceful and tranquil place to stay and we will definitely return
We booked the Manoir de Monflanquin in Oct 2020. It was between lockdowns and it was a very weird and scary time for us as a family. We were so looking forward to the holiday. We then postponed it due to the travel restrictions in 2021, we just didn’t want to risk it. It’s the longest time we’ve ever waited for a holiday. Our holiday in Monflanquin was the best holiday we’ve ever had and we’ve been on some great ones! The house was elegant but robust enough to cope with the 9 of us. It was better than the photos we’d been pouring over for two years. We never got used to the views, the space and beauty of the place. The pool, garden, hammocks, table tennis, badminton net and pool table kept us fully entertained. The kitchen was such a lovely place to be and so delightfully organised. We all took it in turns to cook and had gorgeous evenings outside chatting and eating at the tables out front. The weather was incredible - we had days of glorious sunshine and then spectacular electrical storms. When it rained we just wandered into Monflanquin, set up camp in a pretty cafe and played cards. The view of Monflanquin from the garden always made me pause and remember how lucky we were. The views of the house as we strolled round the fields also gave us joy. It sat so firmly and proudly on its plot. Please thank the owners for providing such a lovely place for us to all get together. It was perfect. Thank you from us all.
The property was everything we were hoping for and more. It's simple yet beautifully done out inside. The outdoor areas are great, particularly the pool. It's so well designed for a family holiday. The local village is so cute and the hotel restaurant great too. And obviously the local wine was delicious too! Couldn't have asked for more.
Thanks again for allowing us to experience your lovely house – we had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed very much staying at Domaine de Nérige, the house exceeded our expectations, in style, comfort and location. Your catering for dinner was wonderful! The shops at LeClerc had everything we needed, the vineyards nearby were great and so welcoming, Carcassonne was fascinating, Limoux was really nice and cycling along the Canal de Midi was delightful – but coming back to the house at the end of the day was so relaxing and the highlight! We hope to come back again hopefully sometime.

Wonderful week! Maison Estephe was absolutely outstanding everything we could have wished for. Lovely little village, fresh bread and croissants from the little baker shop every morning, weather was great, lots of exploring, sampled some wine and discovered the wonderful port of Meze. Outstanding week will need to look at available dates for next year when I know my time off.

We had a wonderful week’s stay at this amazing chateau. We were a family of four (two adults, two teenagers) and couldn’t have wished for a better week. The pool was very popular, and the garden was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Michelle has renovated and finished the whole building with attention to detail and the pictures, as impressive as they are, don’t really do it justice. Wish we could have stayed longer!
We have had a splendid time here and greatly enjoyed the villa. It was very relaxing and comfortable place with incredible views over the vineyards and hill. We spent a lot of time by the pool but also explored the neighbouring sights - Roquebrun was great fun and we also liked Minerve and managed to get down to the coast at Cabaues-les-Fleury.
Fantastic house in a lovely town. The property is extensive, nicely modernised and very well maintained. We visited with three children and they had plenty of room. The pool is AMAZING and they jumped in and out of that very happily. The outside terrace on the upper floor is a lovely place to lounge or eat - and the BBQ is a very good feature. In all we had a WONDERFUL time!
