Stayed at this villa in June 2024. It has been finished to an exacting standard, and is open and airy. The views are spectacular. Everything you need for a relaxing stay - plenty of areas outside to either soak up the rays or sit in the shade. The alfresco dining area was used all day. The owners have left their paintings and sculptures in the house which gives is a very unique feel. It's incredible, will return in 2025!
We thought that the Loft was lovely. We've had a great two weeks in beautiful accommodation. We've enjoyed exploring the region but have left plenty to do to give us a reason to come back. I know the girls will miss Mack and Mabel - we'll keep you posted if we succumb to their requests to get one of our own! Thank you both for your company and warm hospitality.

We’ve had such a fabulous week in this beautiful farmhouse. It’s very difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool, tennis court and, for some of us, the gym. The location – we thoroughly enjoyed the markets, Chinon and the woods – as well as the beautiful piano and luxuries of the house, have made this a truly memorable week for us with our grown-up children and their friends. Thank you all.
Thanks for a lovely week in your fabulous holiday house, it was very kind of you to let us arrive early so we could easily visit the market. It was quite entertaining seeing the gendarmes trying to organise the market day traffic (and the usual bonkers French parking!) We have stayed in quite a few properties in the South of France but not managed to find somewhere that was both walking distance to a nice town and a high spec house. Yours certainly ticked both of those boxes. Especially with the weather not being on our side, we spent a lot of time in the house and really appreciated all of the luxury living area and kitchen features. The kids loved the pool (and it did stay at 26 degrees!), so we did manage to venture in almost every day, much to the amazement of some of the locals! Thanks also for all of the information and recommendations that you and Lisa sent through before and during our stay. It was very much appreciated and hugely helpful.

Fantastic week. It was a real pleasure to go outdoors. We really liked le Graud d'Agde, St Guillem Le Desert and Collioure, the Hacienda in Pézenas and the market nearby, the excellent Violis on the beach. There is everything for a good holiday near the property.
We loved sharing your beautiful château for our special holiday and found it very relaxing and an ideal place for us all to have our own space. The local area was stunning with easy access to Vergt for supplies and easy access for sightseeing.
Fabulous villa with view. Staying at the property made our vacation unforgettable. We were a group of 8 and the house was plenty big enough for all of us adults. The terrace with the pool was unbelievable. We spent many evenings dining and laughing and enjoying the beautiful view which showed the city of Grasse in the distance sparkling. The house was spotless and decorated beautifully. Every amenity was available. The owners were so helpful with any question. We can't wait to return to the Côte d'Azur and this house.
An idyllic haven in the Gers countryside. The room was beautifully comfortable and had far- reaching views over the vines. Host, David, cooked us a sensational meal on the evening of our arrival as well as French breakfast of fruit, yogurts, bread and croissants, cheese, delicious preserves each morning. He was also a source of invaluable advice about the area - things to see and places to eat. A warm, welcoming chambre d’hote. Unhesitatingly recommended.
I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at Villa Bellara. It was immaculate and is perfectly positioned to access to supermarket, patisserie, beaches and numerous quality restaurants and a short walk to the train station - which we used most days to visit other coastal resorts. The villa was considerably larger than we expected and was well equipped for our stay. The quiet residential location was a bonus after having busy days out. All in all a perfect property. I just wanted to say that we all found your house to be absolutely lovely. Everything we could have hoped for. So many nice touches, you clearly put a lot of thought and no doubt effort into making it a very special place. Another lovely holiday at the Loft du Vigneron, this time for 2 weeks. It was lovely to see Karen and Russell again. They were charming and hospitable just like before Everything was perfect for us and the weather was amazing, swam every day in the beautiful pool. Karen booked some restaurants for us, recommended by her, and they were excellent. Highly recommend this property, the best ever.
Everything exceeded our expectations. It was wonderful to meet you both. You have done a wonderful job redeveloping the Loft and there is everything one could possibly wish for. We cannot wait to return. Good luck with the next project and a giant thank you!
We have just returned from two weeks at La Roquette and had an amazing time. We are a group of 10, two parents, 4 adult daughters and now their partners who have been holidaying annually for 34 years now and I have to say this place is hard to beat. The setting is beautiful . Deer and hares in the fields and birds as the only sound. The house itself is so well equipped with plenty of space inside and outside to be together or to seperate and a wonderful pool which was very much needed in a heatwave of 40 degrees!! We did a wonderful vineyard tour/tasting at Domaine Bois de Devès with a lovely English wine maker, Nick Smith,and visited several recommended restaurants, the local Burger bar being a huge favourite…only 6 mins away. We will definitely return in the future when it’s cooler to explore more. Many thanks to all at Pure France, to Patricia the owner and Andrew (the pool guy) for always being on hand for questions and to help. Highly recommended!
What a beautiful house, we have had a lovely holiday and enjoyed every minute. It's been amazing watching the sunset every evening and enjoying your lovely pool. Thank you for the fab tips Pascal! ‘Fresh’ is a great supermarket and Baie du Lac was lovely!
We have had a wonderful time in your very beautiful house! 2 weeks have gone by much to fast and we are sad to be leaving. Although the weather was not very sunny the last few days we swam every day. The pool is great and we will miss it. We visited Minerve, Carcassonne, Béziers, Narbonne and Lagrasse. Croissants every morning from the van at 10am, delicious! Love the decor and everything in the house, vintage design and you have great style. Hope to be back someday soon.
Richard and Meryl are the greatest hosts. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Love Poppy! The Tournesol gîte is home from home, comfortable, everything you would want is here. Location is stunning, great views. Loved our spot under the walnut tree. Highlights - Monflanquin, Saint Cirq Lapopie, Auvillar and Condom - Bourg de Visa was a fantastic central hub for visiting all these places. Thank you Meryl and Richard for a great holiday. This was our first ever holiday rental and it has set the bar very high indeed. From the moment we arrived to a warm and friendly welcome by our hosts (Katerina and Stephen) to the time we departed with the same warmth and friendliness still on display we could not have wanted a better start to our extended holiday. The cottage is very well appointed and is a perfect size for a couple. It had all the facilities one would hope to find to make our two weeks very much a 'home from home' sensation and provided space for the two of us to move around comfortably. The pool is also excellent and reflects the great care our hosts took in ensuring everything was perfectly presented. The location - in the Vezere valley - is ideal for visiting the numerous attractions of the area. Pre historic caves, stalagmite and stalactite caves, fortified houses, gorgeous châteaux and so many utterly charming villages. We even ventured into a canoe for a 12km cruise down the Vezere which allowed us to see the valley from a different perspective. Although we love visiting different places there is a high probability of us coming back again!

We had a wonderful weekend in a beautiful location. The castle is extremely comfortable, very well restored with spacious rooms and tastefully decorated down to the smallest detail. The welcome is warm and everything is thought of for a perfect stay. We were 14 people.
We all liked this house because of the pool and the bedrooms and especially the BIG BIG garden. We love that there is a pool table. The kids and adults love jumping in the pool. Hope we get to come here again. We all didn't want to leave.
An exceptional discovery in Meursault! The property is finely furnished, clean and comfortable. Just a stone's throw from the center and various wineries. I highly recommend it to everyone! We will return soon! Well done.
We had a fantastic stay and are so thankful to the owners. The house is beautiful and very rustic (which we loved) but topped by the setting which is rural and stunning… again, we loved. The hosts Helen and James are so kind and interesting and were really helpful when our car had a tire puncture. The pool is one of the nicest we have ever been in with a lovely salty water and always the right temperature. A great stay.
Lovely warm welcome from Ian and Jean. Relaxing, peaceful holiday for our birthday family break. Setting is beautiful, as is the house, and we quickly felt at home. I will miss the birdsong, which was also the toads calling. Thank you so much. Recommend highly: Angers, The Château of Chateaubriand, The Musée des Beaux-Arts in Angers is great! Really enjoyed the pâtisserie in Mauléon.

Great stay! We were 10 and loved our week Le Mas de Combet. Swimming pool, bar, large kitchen, living rooms, bedrooms with private bathrooms. Everything was perfect, clean, in line with the photos and the host was great in their communication and advice. Definitely won over for future reunions with friends. Amazing stay for our 10-people holidays. From the house to the host everything was perfect. Thanks a lot.

Fabulous house and grounds – loved it. Very high standard, cleanliness, and equipment. Ideal for 3 generations – children loved the playroom. Two catered meals – excellent and much appreciated. Very friendly and hospitable hosts couldn't do enough for us.
