We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this superb villa. Enjoyed it all the views, the pool, the food and especially the peace and tranquility. Thank you to all that helped our stay be so lovely. PS: Loved the little touches in the house - the fresh flowers etc…
We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Fitou, staying in this lovely and comfortable villa. I agree with other reviewers, the pictures do not do the property justice. It is spacious with a very high finish throughout maintaining a very homely feel. Our party consisted of 2 families with 4 kids (6, 6, 2 and 2), they loved it. As for the area, well it's a really special region of France. The location is perfect for day trips to the regions finest attractions (Carcassonne, Collioure, Gruissan etc...) and equally relaxing staying local. Fitou and nearby Leucate Village are charming and the local beaches are lovely, unspoilt and crowd free. There is as much or as little to do here as you'd like. We will certainly be coming back to the area and hopefully to this villa again.

The Manoir is an absolute treasure and it has been a true treat for us to learn the story of your shaping it to its present glory. We will particularly treasure the memory of being pampered by you with Bruce's fantastic cooking - asparagus a la Bruce and confit de canard warmly recommended! - and Steve's delicious deserts. Good food, great atmosphere! The week has gone too fast and thus we are making plans to return, as such treat just demands an Encore! With warm thanks.
We had a wonderful week at this gorgeous property. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. The house is amazing - beautiful blend of old and modern. Impressive double height ceilings and doors. Very spacious and well appointed. The kids had a great time swimming in the pool. The gardens are lovely - we liked the hammock and swing. We also made use of the table tennis table. The house and grounds are very private and secluded. We had a beautiful view over surrounding sunflower fields. We would thoroughly recommend this property to families.

The chalet: a real jewel in the heart of a magnificent valley, the spacious and sunny terrace with a breathtaking view. Games room, sauna and jacuzzi allowed us to spend very good times with family. Modern amenities make everyday life easier. The "artistic" decoration soothes the mind and opens to daydreaming.
We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Colombat Cottage. They took advantage of the calm, nature and beauty of the place. Carelle and Stephen are attentive hosts. We highly recommend.
Highly recommended. The house was very spacious, tidy and even more beautiful than in the photos. There is a large beautiful and enclosed garden and by the pool a nice terrace. The owner were really friendly and helpful. Both we and our 5 dogs had a great vacation. We will definitely go back again!
We had the most wonderful time at Villa La Baronne. I think our children spent most of their time in the pool. Beautifully decorated house with plenty of space for all our family.
This property is an oasis of calm, exquisitely redeveloped and fitted out without losing the charm and character of the original distillery. Equipment, facilities, decor and soft furnishings are of the highest standard. Narbonne is a classic, small French city. The villa is a perfect match and then some - more spacious than the pictures suggest and terrific spaces both outdoor and in. Well be back for more visits and more wine!
This is the third visit to the Villa - it's beginning to feel like home! Another wonderful stay- we had great time yet again and sorry to leave the peace and tranquility behind. My family had a fantastic 3-week holiday in La Barde, a beautifully renovated farmhouse. So fantastic, in fact, that we secured a repeat booking for the following year prior to departing. We found the property extremely spacious, sympathetically renovated, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for family day-to-day living. The securely gated pool is perfect for children and we all looked forward to cooling off there each afternoon after exploring the various local food markets and other wonderful excursions. The pool is actually quite large, which meant that the keener members of our party could exercise properly and swim lengths whilst the rest of us happily relaxed and drank local wines. The shallow end is ideal for young children to play or practice their swimming and there is a slightly separate paddling pool which is perfect for babies and toddlers. There is a barn area with a large BBQ, which we used most evenings, a ping pong table and lots of lawn games. The courtyard, lawn and gardens are obviously lovingly cared for and just beautiful. La Barde is the perfect setting for children to play and for family and friends to relax, talk, eat and drink. Helen and John gave us a warm welcome and were happy to help with any information we needed. They kindly shared some delicious fruit from their garden with us, which we very much enjoyed cooking and eating. We think this is the perfect place for groups of friends or families to holiday together and celebrate special occasions (it would be an amazing place to host a wedding or spend Christmas) because the size and the layout of the house and grounds mean there is plenty of space for more than one family to be together as well as enough space to have privacy. The location is ideal in terms of exploring the Dordogne. We would highly recommend booking this property any time of the year. We couldn’t believe our luck and can’t wait to return again this summer!
We have just stayed at this stunning house, It has everything. Peace, and lovely views, from a sensationally restored old barn. All comforts to make for a memorable stay, include air conditioning, a brand new pool, fully fitted kitchen and all made even better in meeting the owner Florence who lives next door. Easy shopping at the Supermarkets was only a 10 minute drive away, made for a great location. Thank you indeed Florence, have a successful summer and be reassured, you will have many other happy visitors still to come.
A perfect gite to spend a relaxed holiday. We loved each area of the Gite and felt very spoilt to have such a large area to ourselves. The attention to detail inside the gite gives a real homely feeling. The pool provided a lot of entertainment, and again very well presented. Debbie, the host, couldn't do enough for us and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. I can't recommend it/her highly enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The meal at Le Pourquoi Pas was outstanding! A lovely part of France to explore. We went to Béziers, Carcassonne, Vendres and Capestang. All lovely. The house is fabulous, well maintained lots of character and charm, but well equipped too for modern living. Beautiful pool and gardens and an exceptional host . We had plenty of sunshine so we were able to really enjoy the beautiful countryside and nearby quaint villages. A really good holiday, thank you.
We have had an amazing time and are very sad to have to leave! We have loved our time lazing by the pool and leaving all the stresses of our normal lives far behind. The owners have been perfect hosts. and the house has had everything that we needed. We really enjoyed visiting this part of France for the first time and would recommend all the beautiful Bastide villages. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can come back!

Very nice accommodation with a huge living room. The proximity to the canal is the charm of the charm of the house.
Highlights had to be: pool, Pézenas, people of Servian so so friendly and the table tennis gave many hours of fun and laughter.
Our two week stay at this fantastic French villa has been the highlight of our summer. A massive thank-you must go to Philippe. From day one he has been an amazing host, bringing us personalised bread and breakfast pastries and taking Ed wine tasting. We loved our restaurant visit also organised by Philippe to La Tour in Montady. He has been our go-to for tourist information and local knowledge, from beach recommendations to where to buy a birthday cake. On top of that, our dogs (Bella and Luna) have loved him. The villa itself is gorgeous and we felt right at home as soon as we walked in. We’ve enjoyed days around the pool, barbecues in the evenings and games in the salon after many wonderful little excursions that surround Maureilhan. We do not want to leave! Mais c’est la vie!
We feel very fortunate to have enjoyed our third visit to the lovely Loft du Vigneron! It has been great to see the Minervois region in a different season. As always, we have marvelled at all you are doing next door and can't wait to see the end result. Thank you for your company, generosity and friendship.
Very good stay! There were 8 of us: everything went very well. The house is pleasant and conforms to the description: the 4 bathrooms are appreciable!

Thank you for a delightful week in a truly charming cottage. Even if the weather was a wee bit shy about showing the sun the house more than made up for it with its character. The 2 restaurants in the village are excellent! (Remember a torch if you're coming after dinner!). Sarlat on a Wednesday (market day) well worth a visit. Saint-Léon is a pretty place with a big choice of "eateries". Lascaux IV is interesting and well presented.! Many thanks Caterina and Steve!
