Mas Saint-Martial has everything you could wish for included in the price and everything was clean and tidy on our arrival with a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. Verteillac is only 10 minutes away and has some lovely little shops and the local area has excellent markets also. One of the best restaurants we found was Le Cours de Miracles in Verteillac which has beautiful food at a very reasonable price. We received a really warm welcome from the owners, who live next door. They were always on hand if we needed anything, but very discreet also and gave us total privacy.
Special. Superb house and fantastic facilities. Privilege to be able to stay. Exquisitive setting. Calming and rejuvenating. Inclined to chill by the pool. Amazing week, weather and times. Love to come again.

To be able to share this little piece of paradise, firstly with friends and then family has been a rare treat. the tranquility and beauty of the location, the incredible comfort of the accommodation and the above and beyond care taken by Meichelle, Martin and Jackie have made our stay unforgettable. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenage kids. From the first day, we settled in and found it very difficult to leave after two weeks. The owners have not only created a wonderfully rustic house, but it has been very well thought out, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for a family of 5. This is complemented by one of the best settings you could imagine - gently rolling hills set back from a quiet country road. Being a sporty family, we used the beautiful pool every day. Most private pools in France are under 10 metres, so we really appreciated the full 13 metres to swim some laps. Much to our delight, there was an outdoor badminton court and boules area. The big, flat lawn at the top of the property was the perfect place to kick some balls around. The surrounding area is a delight to discover. From limestone caves, to underground churches carved out of the hillside, to charming market towns, to river 'beaches' for cooling off, the area never seems crowded. All this, coupled with the exquisite food and drink from the region (at exceptional prices), makes this an area that the discerning tourist should not miss. We cannot recommend staying here highly enough. The owners, who live next door, are the perfect hosts. They never once intruded on our privacy, but were more than happy to chat and provide advice, if asked. We look forward to returning!

I just wanted to feed back what a lovely time we had in the villa a couple of weeks ago. The holiday was well worth waiting for and the villa delivered on all levels. We were certainly very grateful for the pool to cool off from the sweltering 40c heat and the lovely shaded areas surrounding the pool helped too. Most importantly, our mums had a lovely time. They were each able to have an ensuite bathroom which gave them their own space and privacy and thoroughly enjoyed the pool - even enjoying a splash about with an inflatable dolphin at one stage! (not bad for an 80 year old!) Please pass on our grateful thanks to the owners for allowing us the extra day for free and also allowing our early arrival which made things much easier on the Saturday. The Mums were already in the pool by the time we got back from the supermarket on the Saturday morning. A great success all round, excellent service from Pure France during all the covid changes and a wonderful villa too. Thank you
Where can we begin to tell you how wonderful your warmth and kindness have made our holiday so special at your beautiful Le Chambarru. Your renovations and thoughtful kitchen cooking utensils have such taste and quality that we all enjoyed cooking. The location has proven geographical delight. Great stay in Margon, Helen is very responsive and available. We had 2 babies and the equipment (high chairs and cots) was available. I would definitely recommend this place to relax and visit the area. Thanks again to Helen for her trust.

Superb house that has preserved the charm of yesteryear. The exteriors are beautiful with a huge garden and woods adjacent to it. We had a very relaxing stay with our friends and children. What an amazing experience, in a truly beautiful part of France (and new to us all). The house is lovely as well as the 360° views - magical! The kids loved the pool and we managed to get them out for food, sleep and car!
Unfortunately we could not meet Eva but we were welcomed by Harold who is a very nice person. The house is very pretty and very pleasant. The rooms and the living room are very spacious. The terrace area with its plancha, the pool with its small beach and the deckchairs to relax are very appreciable.

We loved the location and house. Very large and comfortable with nice dining area and amazing pool, well secured with electric cover. Very calm area. Lots of things to do and discover. We will come back again.
It is early spring. My husband and I decide to go to the South of France for a fortnight. Our eye has fallen on Les Oliviers du Sud. It is in the Gard region and close to nice places. Like Uzès, Nîmes, Avignon. What a surprising place on arrival. Two enthusiastic owners, proudly showing off their new domaine. There are two gîtes. A large swimming pool, several terraces and expansive views. Our gîte is very comfortable. Spacious living room with dining kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bedroom is very spacious with good mattresses. Large bathroom with two sinks. As it can be quite chilly in the evening in spring, this cottage has a wood-burning stove with hot air conditioning. It is comfortably warm then. The garden is tastefully decorated. You have your own privacy and that choice is nice. We had a lovely two weeks here and will definitely come back next year. Thank you Esther and Leo for your hospitality.
Lovely villa, boys enjoyed the pool and the garden! Had great trips to Montpellier and Carcassonne. Visit Pézenas on a Wednesday evening and visit all of the artisans stores! For beaches the long stretch between Sète and Agde is very quiet.

A beautiful romantic setting carefully renovated by the owner to give a wonderful Provençal experience. The closeness to Gordes and all the other hill top villages nearby made this a dream vacation for myself and my family.
Over the years we have holidayed as a family in numerous French villas and without a doubt La Charmante Distillerie knocks spots off the rest. The standard of accommodation, both practically and aesthetically is second to none: the AC works beautifully and silently, the car charger (22Kw) was brilliant (we had 2 EVs), the quality of fitments is of the highest standard, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms (all 4) impeccable. The decor and artwork are also very pleasing. Outside, the grounds are beautiful, the gardens well tended, and the pool area vast and everything you could wish for. We spent many happy lunchtimes under the pretty awning and used the excellent plancha barbecue. Mark and Gary were extremely welcoming and generous to a fault with the provisions and drink left for us. We weren't allowed to leave anything untouched! All in all, a fabulous home from home to spend with the family - we were two each over 3 generations, and we didn't fall out once. I can't recommend La Charmante Distillerie highly enough, and it was a pity we could only stay a week.
This is a beautiful property and it is well taken care of. We had everything we could possibly think of to enjoy an amazing weekend with family. I imagine this estate as a perfect venue for anything from a group holiday to a wedding. We would definitely stay again.
I just wanted to thank you for providing us with the perfect spot for our vacation week in Provence. We loved everything about your home, the surroundings and the people. As it was my first time to Provence, we had an elaborate plan to visit Aix, Arles, Avignon etc and whereas I am sure they are fantastic places too, however, we ended up exploring the lovely mountain villages surrounding your home and loved every minute. Thank you for leaving the details regarding bike rental and horse-back riding, in the end it was a bit too hot to do either but maybe next time?! The house was great in every way and we loved every attention to detail and your impeccable taste. Again, thank you for a wonderful holiday, we do hope that some day we can return.
Wonderful pool and garden and of course lovely interior of the rooms. Our kids enjoyed playing in the pool area and really loved the tree house!
