This villa is amazing. The accommodation is fabulous with a lovely kitchen/dining/lounge area, comfortable beds, great showers and very effective air-conditioning. The pool and outside areas are excellent. We were a family group ranging from 15 to 72 years and we all had a wonderful time. The owners are friendly and welcoming, there if you need them, otherwise extremely discreet. We would not hesitate to recommend this property.
We felt very comfortable here in this house with the beautiful garden and pool. Peacefulness, rest and relaxation - What more would you want? We particularly appreciated how attentive and helpful people were in Bessan and Agde as we needed help for our little Leah. We have greatly enjoyed our time, recovered and will definitely come back. In 25 years of renting houses for our summer holidays, Château Mabrouke truly topped the lot! Ed and Katie have kept it as a family home which gives the house a lovely ambiance and makes it so welcoming and interesting. We loved the artworks, both in the house and the garden. The guide to the house, helpfully shared in advance, was comprehensive. It meant we weren't struggling to work anything out for ourselves and the information on the local area was really helpful. The local team gave us a lovely welcome too and looked after us flawlessly throughout our stay. The rooms all have great character and were very comfortable indeed. The hilltop setting gives outstanding vistas all round and the terraces surrounding the house and pool offered the best of the sun at all points of the day, particularly sunsets at dinner. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped and the cooker is fabulous. Martin and Philippa, who Katie recommended, cooked a wonderful meal for us and were thoroughly engaging company. There is so much to do, in and around the house and in the local area, that it was hard to do it all justice in a mere two weeks. A day's white water rafting and kayaking with Eau Vive at Foix was a big highlight.

What a beautiful, spaceous and clean place. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Very nice area in the garden to relax by the pool, to have a bite on the terrace or to have drinks at your cosy private bar the area in the corner. Inside area has a very nice cool temperature, even when it's 38°C outside. Perfect. Slept like a bear! Absolutely loved my stay, which was too short! Adore the house and flowers, love the owners. Had a great time.
We have had a wonderfully relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable two weeks at this beautiful gite. It has been fantastically and sensitively renovated both inside and out. The pool is an absolute joy to sit by and relax, read and take in the scenery! Also, Pete has been an excellent host, a mine of local knowledge. We enjoyed visiting Monpazier, Issigeac, Villereal and Sarlat.
Thank you for giving us two amazing weeks at your villa. The pool is one of the best we have seen and garden is just stunning. The villa is beautifully decorated and we have all found it vey comfortable. We've have two lovely weeks exploring the surrounding area, without a single minute of television! An exceptionally hot week - the pool was a delightfully refreshing respite from the heat. Highlights were: cycling to Chateau de Gavaudun - fairly hilly route to Salles - we returned the longer way through the woods to the east- a more gentle climb and lovely road back to the cottage. The Marche de Soiree at Salles on Wednesday evening - if you go, take your own plates, cutlery and glasses. We were treated to the local karaoke singers!! A lovely meal in Monflanquin at the Prince Noir, and a midnight swim back at chez nous. Thank you for a fabulous week in this homely house were there is everything you need.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely house. We were lucky enough to see the (almost) full moon rising from the perfect spot in the garden on our first night. We loved the house and pool and most of all the beautiful views. To be in a village and yet so quiet is unique. We very much hope to come back.

We had an amazing two weeks in the sun, we spent some days by the pool. You can swim and look at the stunning view of the hills in the distance. The apartment is spotless and has everything we needed at the start of our holiday. The owners can speak English which is helpful if you needed anything which we didn't. We would love to go back again.
We stayed at Villa La Baronne for a week in early October. We were blessed with good weather and the surrounding area is beautiful and historically very interesting. As for the property itself, Villa La Baronne offers every possible amenity a guest might wish for. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The living areas are spacious and inviting. Outside the garden is lovely and has ample space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The swimming pool is of a great size and in cooler temperatures it is heated. We had a lovely time and the hosts were exceptional. Can't recommend this villa enough. Book it while you can!
It's been an absolute cracker. The house is a joy and the pool has been the centre of our stay. We've loved exploring the local area, particularly the beach side lunch in Cannes and wild afternoon at the inflatable waterpark at the lake.
A three-generation family holiday has been thoroughly enjoyed here at Fontalbe. Sitting under the wisteria Trees was a favourite spot for breakfast, reading, watercolour painting etc. the pool has been fantastic for six grandchildren who have had hours of fun and laughter, the sun loungers have been well used too. So much wildlife – demoiselles, butterflies, dragonflies, lizards, a toad plus fish and crayfish in the stream.
What a wonderful holiday we have had. We are familiar with the region but La Tourouzelle offers the most amazing place for a holiday: fabulous views to the Pyrénées, a comfortable, well-equipped home and a fantastic pool! There is so much to do here - lovely bastide towns and villes perchées and lots of fêtes and festivals. We have particularly enjoyed the fête at Fanjeaux, the views from the Collégiale at Montréal, a late night walk around la Cité at Carcassonne, the fête du Cassoulet at Castelnaudary and the festival de Pétanque at Limoux. We look forward to another visit.
Another amazing stay at Maison Baleyssagues where we were very warmly hosted by Frédéric and his team. Such a peaceful location, sitting proudly on the hill top with panaramic views. Very spacious gardens topped with a beautiful pool and it’s own water fountain. Inside the villa nothing is left to chance with a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms. Looking at the pictures only tell half the story, it’s a superb place, if you don’t book early you’ll miss your chance as this place is always full, I wonder why?
From the warm welcome that we received on arrival, to the thorough introduction into the Loft du Vigneron's facilities - which are considerable - and the wealth of advice on the local area, restaurants and places to visit, Karen and Russell did everything imaginable to ensure that we had a really memorable and relaxing holiday. Naturally, we are very sorry to be leaving this morning, but hope to have the good fortune to return again. Every good wish to you in your new venture, which we're sure will be as successful, if not more, than the Loft.

What a beautiful home. The gardens, view and pool are simply stunning and we have had the most beautiful, restful holiday gazing at the view, enjoying the amazing pool and the delightful sofa which was a great place to hang out in the shade of the Mulberry tree. Marianne [housekeeper] has been marvellous – we enjoyed canoeing on Le Dropt and a trip to Eymet, otherwise we have everything we needed here!
Villa Barthélemy is a very nice property. Location, very quiet and private. Great pool and very nice view of Mougins and in the distance the sea. Very nice rooms were renovated, the whole house is very nice. Shopping for the food I recommend Grand Frais, everything very fresh, meat fish cheese ; and to the best bakery 5 minutes on foot. I can highly recommend Les Cypres...
We've had a fantastic relaxing week, Immaculate facilities, superb hosts. What a beautiful place. We enjoyed the pool and playing pétanque.
Perfect villa, lovely hosts and amazing view. Wow, this villa is just perfect in every way! It's beautiful, peaceful, clean and is very close to Saint-Paul-de-Vence which is gorgeous. The owners were so lovely to us, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The whole week felt so luxurious and comfortable and the pool was devine! We will almost definitely be returning here as we had a fantastic week. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt so relaxed and cared for! I cannot express the lovely week we just had in this villa, everything was simply perfect! Thanks again for such a fantastic holiday and hope to return again soon!
The space, the history and beauty of the surroundings. The swimming pool. The range of children's toys. The bedroom arrangements in the house that was perfect for 4 families. Maps and leaflets of things to do in the locality. The fans in rooms upstairs etc etc. In all we are sad to leave!
Maison Forgeron is a fantastic house, four large bedrooms with bathrooms, plenty of living space, lovely garden with a great pool. It is decorated to a very high standard and extremely well equipped. In all, a perfect destination for a gathering of families.
Fantastic gites, lots of peace, beautiful surroundings and as always a warm and cordial reunion with Esther and Leo! Literally live like God in France!
