Cottage du Jardin has been beautifully restored and is very comfortable and well appointed. The amenities are excellent and the pool is exceptional. The location is wonderful because it is close to so many attractions and to a number of excellent restaurants.
Two weeks of idyllic bliss in the rolling French countryside with superb weather to atch. As a family young and old, we enjoyed the stunning house, garden, pool and views. To agree with the previous guests, Laparade is the place to be on a Tuesday evening. Days spent at Biscarosse beach and lakeside both worth the journey. Would also highly recommend in house beauty treatments. We had massages and facials. Fantastic. Just ask Olivia.

Fantastic place. Peace and tranquillity and magnificent view from the balcony. Proximity to a private beach. Perfectly equipped kitchen, large living room. I highly recommend it to everyone. Beautiful house in a great location. The house is spacious and has everything you would need and more. Very quiet and peaceful and the location was perfect, halfway between Montignac and the prehistoric sites and Sarlat and the Dordogne river. Florence the concierge was very helpful and responded quickly when needed. I highly recommend.
An amazing and wonderful place to stay! We only had a week but it was a very special week, our first time in the Dordogne was made into an extra special one by staying in this fairytale cottage with the owners providing everything that you would want or need for a brilliant holiday they were the perfect hosts! The cottage was perfect, clean and very comfortable not to mention the pool which was an added bonus we would be very happy to recommend this beautiful cottage and location for a relaxing holiday!

A wonderful week for three generations of us, from 128 months to 70 years. We've had a great time.
I had the great pleasure of spending a fabulous week at this property. An oasis in the center of this charming french town. 3 minutes walk to the town where you find boulangeries selling fresh croissants in the morning; to lovely restaurants scattered around the cobbled back streets and a fabulous weekend market. The surrounding area has much to offer for those keen on exploring Agde, Sete or beautiful Marseillan, to name just a few. The property itself is decorated to the highest standard. You can see it was a labour of love. Stylish and yet homely. The bedrooms beautifully decorated light and airy. Beds so comfortable. The kitchen designed for entertaining. A huge open plan sitting and dining area perfect for a cosy family meal or a dinner party, as we enjoyed on more than one occasion. The outside area perfect for a long day lounging by the pool or chilling in the evening with the bbq going. A totally private setting! What more could one ask for. Great communication with the owner. Nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend this property, if you are looking for a 5 star experience in a stunning location.
We had an excellent stay in March in this large, very well appointed and superbly equipped house to accommodate our group of 11 people. Beautiful amenities in the house, quality bedding and a paradise for children. With its large swimming pool, its two terraces and its numerous outdoor games, the area must be even more appreciated in the summer season. We highly recommend this rental, ideal for large families or groups of friends. We were able to discover an enchanting setting in the region. We enjoyed the calm and beauty of the surrounding countryside. Obviously, we couldn't resist the desire to taste the extraordinary local products (wines, gastronomy, etc.). An exceptional place in which we will return for a vacation.
We as a family enjoyed our stay in Mas des Rivailles. The house is great, lots of space in the house and even more in the great pool area with different places to sit, either in the sun or in the shade. The house was very clean and after a long drive, we were welcomed with some food and drinks for the first night.
Marie-Christine's house is ideal for a family, it is decorated with great taste, modern and airy. It has all the amenities and its location is ideal (supermarket, bakeries, shopping center, city center, train station, etc.) Marie is a charming person. She gave us advice and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend his house which is completely renovated. We had a wonderful stay at Maison Charvin for 2 weeks in August 2022. The house itself is lovely. The pictures on the site perhaps do not do it justice. We are a family of 6 (four teenagers) however there was ample accommodation for all. Most importantly, for the teenagers, no complaints about the Wi-Fi! The village in which the house is situated is picturesque to say the least. There is a fantastic restaurant within walking distance, Vins de Dagne where the food and wine were truly exceptional (but you need to book ahead). There is also a small store, but that was not really sufficient for anything other than the odd top up (and a bit overpriced). Although we were a little concerned about the lack of onsite parking, that really was not a problem at all, with ample roadside parking just at the end of the street. The fact that the outside areas are all surrounded by high walls did worry us at first, as you would inevitably get shade in one part or other at either end of the day. However, the weather was blisteringly hot and so the shade provided by the Courtyard garden was an absolute godsend. That said, the same shade meant that the pool never quite got to a truly comfortable temperature for the millennial teenagers and was a bit chilly. Although, on many of the hottest days, to my mind, that was a blessed relief! It is the outside areas that truly make this house. It is completely private, not overlooked at all, beautifully lit up at night and well equipped with BBQ, table and chairs (for six) and a multitude of loungers and towels. The location of the house was good. The town of Montlaur is just; 20 minutes drive to the nearest Le clerc just outside Carcassonne. 30 minutes to the lake at Caracassone with its inflatable aqua park and the ‘go ape’ tree climbing and zipwire site. 90 minutes to the beach at Narbonne. A little over 90 minutes to the airport at Toulouse and to the whitewater rafting at Belvianes-et Cavirac (which was fantastic!) Sharon was extremely helpful when needed, only a phone call away but otherwise we were left to ourselves. All in all it was great holiday and a house that I would truly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks here, very quiet and peaceful with plenty to do. A very warm welcome from the hosts.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday, staying in your beautiful villa. We have loved the pool and the garden, the views are stunning and we have very much enjoyed taking our coffee in the mornings and drinking our wine, sitting at the various places dotted so perfectly around the grounds. We have enjoyed the Monday morning market in Duras and the nights market at Monsegur on Wednesday evening. Thank you Frédéric for his warm welcome. It has been a truly relaxing and enjoyable week.
We had an amazing stay at your wonderful house. The setting was wonderful and we had a truly relaxing time. The scenery was a joy. We also liked the beautiful village / hamlet with such a wonderful church. We met many French people who were exceptionally friendly. We cooked with all the fresh produce from the markets and ate outside surrounded by hay bales! Thank you for such an amazing week.
It’s like staying with friends, with all the positives and none of the negatives! One of the things I think we will remember most about our trip are Karen and Russell. They gave our family the warmest of welcomes and ensured our stay was both comfortable and with a touch of luxury. Having never ventured to this part of France, it was fantastic to have the helpful suggestions for wineries not to be missed, activities for the kids, and the best places to eat. On the other side of the coin, we had our much-needed R&R. The oasis of peace and tranquility of the Loft, the gorgeous terrace for evening aperitifs, and alfresco dining, the extensive and beautiful gardens, and the sparkling azure gem of a pool! Thank you both for making our holiday so special. That cake : WOW! WOW! WOW! Despite all the fab patisserie, the kids still go on about that cake, Karen! Recipe, please!

We had a wonderful time at Château Grandchamp de Chablis in Burgundy and will certainly be back. All details of both the house and the care of the guests are carefully thought through and attended to and we had the perfect combination of privacy and feeling attended to while there. The property is beautiful and the owners have wonderful taste. The grounds have a myriad of eating spots and activities including swimming pool, tennis, lovely walks and a feeling of privacy. The owners are gracious and eager to be sure you have the resources to make the most of your stay with their long experience and knowledge of the area. A special holiday to experience a French home of this level and explore the extensive area of Burgundy not far from Paris. A rare find indeed!
