So many memories. We were so lucky with the weather, so were able to take full advantage of the pool. The turret allowed for stargazing to a degree that we don't get at home. So many memories of laughter, drinking and family time. Thank you.
We enjoyed a lovely week at Le Chanlie; the house is set in wonderful, quiet surroundings and is beautifully furnished. Everything was in place to make us feel very welcome on our arrival. We had a couple of questions following arrival and the owner was really prompt in providing helpful guidance and again welcoming us to the property. The information pack provided at the property was very detailed and was invaluable in terms of guidance on local amenities and made great suggestions for places to visit in the area. Our young daughter was well catered for with plenty of toys and books to keep her amused when the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outside spaces. Similarly the house has a large collection of games and DVDs for adults too! Overall a really enjoyable week and we would jump at the chance to return!
We had a very good stay, peaceful and surrounded by nature in an area full of charm. It is an ideal place to rest and recharge your batteries and also discover this beautiful region. Our hosts were very welcoming and available. We recommend this place!
Our week in your beautiful home has gone far too quickly. We have really enjoyed the era and explored Uzes and its restaurants. There is still so much to do and we hope to be back. Many thanks for your welcome and discreet hospitality. The tortoises were a great distraction!
We had an amazing stay. The villa is bright and sunny all day long, which made the outdoor spaces even more enjoyable. Everything was spotless, comfortable and perfectly equipped. The pool area is fantastic and the surroundings are incredibly peaceful. We would happily return.

Villa Genêts is a beautiful villa close to the village of Magagnosc . It has a lovely outdoor dining area which has amazing panoramic views of the Bay of Cannes, perfect for alfresco dining and enjoying the local wines. The house combines both elegance and comfort with a fabulous swimming pool. The pool has loungers for basking in the sun and has a seating area and outside bar ideal for pre-dinner sunset drinks. The house is close to Grasse and is in a superb location for exploring the delights of Provence, with easy access to the coast but also provides an escape from it all.

We were not too familiar with the region, but since we live in a highly fast-paced city, we knew we wanted a tranquil and somewhat less-touristy vacation spot surrounded by nature. Through an amazing agency, we were able to lease the cottage for two weeks in late August and had an amazing time there. The property dates back to 1750 and is fully well-renovated - every detail has been taken into consideration so one is able to enjoy the experience of staying in an authentic French country house, but with modern amenities that enhance the original character of the property, rather than detract from it. The town and the people are very charming and there are restaurants, cafés, a grocery store, shops, butcher shops, etc. and an excellent choice of patisseries and boulangeries, which my husband happily frequented every morning in order to bring back fresh breakfast goodies! There is a weekly market in the town square, just a 5-minute drive from the house selling amazing produce and other artisanal delights! The town is within a comfortable drive from beautiful sites in neighboring Beynac, Sarlat and Bergerac, not counting other small picturesque places you find on the way. And if you haven't done much research, fret not because the owners of the home have compiled quite an impressive binder of information with all of the popular attractions and must-see places in the area. I do not over-exaggerate when I say the house is extremely well-equipped as if it were our own home! When we were not out sightseeing during the morning, we were downstairs preparing food in the kitchen, which may seem small in the photos, but it is spacious and the layout is wonderful - the oven and stove are ideal for seasoned cooks, there is a full-size dishwasher and tons of pots, pans, utensils, gadgets and appliances - all in superb condition, so we wanted for nothing. Overall, we had an excellent stay at Maison Bourg Cales, which I would highly recommend to anyone in search of an idyllic, quiet getaway in the beautiful French countryside.

After a two-year pause in our travel arrangements we couldn’t have been more delighted with our visit to the Loft du Vigneron. It was everything - and more - than we had hoped for. I've had the privilege to stay at Villa Lavinière for three weeks and have felt welcomed, relaxed every day. Cycling to nearby by villages, visiting the vineyards and enjoying the sun and the wine of the local area are all highly recommended. Thank you for allowing me to stay for this very special get away. I will cherish the memory of the time here.

It's true, the villa and the pool are much more beautiful 'live' than on the pictures. We felt very comfortable in your great villa and it was a great pleasure to meet you. We were a group of 7 adults and have had the most fabulous week in your villa. It is so unusual for a villa to work on every level, but yours really did. So much space – and so very well thought through with absolutely everything you might need supplied. And yes – far better than the pictures suggested. We greatly appreciated the cheese + wine on arrival – the bread + pâté through the week – and of course the meal at La Tour, which was just amazing! We made good use of the bikes (coldly wet!) and made our way to Montady a few times (a lovely ride on the cycle path). We visited Béziers, Carcassonne + Minerve – but most importantly – we were able to relax + chat and laugh! Thank you Philippe. What a great week.
What a delight! The two bedroom cottage was very spacious and comfortable - actually seemed bigger than the photos depict. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and supportive and had a genuine interest in making our stay as enjoyable as possible, from recommendations and help with reservations at wonderful local restaurants, to suggestions for local sites to visit, to making sure we were comfortable when we experienced some inclement weather. We would love to return and highly recommend this unique property to anyone planning to spend time touring the gorgeous Dordogne area.

Fantastic stay - group of 10 adults and 10 children. Great set up to keep both groups well entertained and some additional surprises like a play area next to one of the outside eating areas. Sports hall and pool both huge, the later keeping us cool in the hot afternoons. The owners also helped us arrange a local cook to cater on some evenings and also a local wine producer to do a wine tasting.
Brilliant Experience. We were all very impressed by the welcome that was given to us and the rapid response to any questions or requests ---especially the promised champagne and wine which was summoned up so speedily. It's an amazingly beautiful chateau and we had great fun there with the generous support. Thank you particularly for organising a splendid trip to the Domme vineyard and the excellent restaurant we lunched at afterwards. We had a wonderful week and particularly enjoyed the views of the Dordogne River from the bedroom windows and terraces of the chateau. I wish you every success with the chateau in future and thank you once again wholeheartedly for your very considerate care of our group -- and our holiday.
This home is spacious and beautifully appointed with spectacular views that offer an ever-changing backdrop. We found the early mornings particularly beautiful and loved watching the amazing sunsets sitting by the pool or on the veranda. This stylish and well-equipped home from home was a truly wonderful place to stay and had everything we could wish for to have a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We've had a wonderful week here in such an amazing, spacious house. We have enjoyed being near to Najac and being able to walk there for lunch and exploring, especially the castle. The views at breakfast with the clouds are quite spectacular. Today we visited the alpaca farm and really enjoyed our tour round the various fields of alpacas. The children particularly enjoyed feeding them. The swimming pool has been a real highlight and wonderful weather an added bonus. Many thanks to Henrietta for her welcome and amazing suggestions and all the help.
We are just back from two magical weeks in this property set in a beautiful area with many Bastides to visit. The house is spacious with every required amenity hosted by the lovely owners Jean and Martin not forgetting the real star Tanner the dog. The grounds are enormous with a gorgeous pool, gazebo, huge parasols and sun-beds. The local village Lauzun is a short walk away for bread and there is a local Bar de Sport. Each Saturday night in the season the main street is closed off and tables set up for a gourmande evening... Very French! The owners will ensure that you have a good time but are in no way obtrusive. Don't miss the opportunity to try this property!
We have been coming to the south of France for over 20 years and Maison Theron was the best we have stayed in. The decor, furnishings and bedding were such good quality, we felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel! The local housekeeper did an amazing job as the house was spotless when we arrived.
