This truly is a wonderful property with friendly, welcoming hosts; it was even better in the flesh than in the pictures. The house lacks for nothing in either charm or the quality of the finish internally and everything was provided to make our stay as comfortable as one would hope. This was a true 'home from home' with several thoughtful little touches that made all the difference (fresh soap in the bathroom, coffee pods and bottled water if we wanted it in the kitchen to name just a few). All of this, in combination with a fantastically picturesque and peaceful location means that we cannot recommend this property highly enough and will most definitely be back next time we visit the Languedoc, Occitanie region!
We had a wonderful family holiday, the house is beautiful and had everything we needed. The outside area is simply perfect. The children loved the pool and the garden. Good restaurants nearby. Thanks for everything.
Another wonderful week at Bellevue, this time we had all our family with us, the grandchildren were in their element, swimming, paddling in the Dordogne, and watching the hot air balloons. They saw 11 on our last evening! Thank you for your hospitality, it is always a pleasure to be in this beautiful part of the Dordogne.

We recently enjoyed a very memorable and enjoyable stay. This luxurious property was comfortable, well presented and very clean. The views from the property are exceptional and the horizon swimming pool is everybody's dream. The location provides good access to Saint Paul de Vence and to the surrounding region and thus is a great location to base yourself and to see the local features.
A beautiful home in a beautiful village, so much hospitality and the house had everything we needed. We did not want to leave! :) La Table de Jean is a much recommended restaurant, fantastic food and people. Lovely stay.
Having rented holiday homes in France for many years I am sure that the welcome from Philippe was the warmest we have ever had. His kindness and generosity in providing a wonderful welcome pack comprising cheeses, bread, fruit, wine and a tart made our arrival very pleasant. The house is beautifully appointed and every need seemed to have been considered. The layout of the three buildings is particularly suited to large families with two large ensuite bedrooms in one block, a compact double in the pool house and a magnificent master suite in the main house. The facilities are exceptional, with a comprehensively equipped kitchen, air conditioning in the key areas, a great variety of outdoor seating (very comfortable) in sun and shade, a fantastic outdoor kitchen with barbecue and a superb swimming pool, all set in beautiful gardens. Philippe kindly brought croissants or pastries on the (very early) mornings he would silently clean the pool and another large selection of local goodies when changing the sheets after a week. The location is quiet and peaceful yet there are lots of interesting places to visit within a short drive. Béziers and the villages along the Canal du Midi provide lots to do and the coast is only 20 minutes away. This is an exceptional property which feels like a home rather than a rental and you could not fail to enjoy a holiday here.

Before arrival, Kate, the owner, sent a friendly and informative email introducing herself and providing detailed guidance about the property. Her suggestion to contact François, the property’s caretaker, was invaluable. He met us in the village and guided us to the secluded house—a short, scenic drive that revealed its tranquil and picturesque location. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the sweeping valley views and endless forests below. The grounds and the house are meticulously maintained. François warmly welcomed us and gave a thorough tour, starting with the charming, shaded entrance. Inside, the open-plan kitchen and dining area—with its cozy fireplace—immediately made us feel at home. The kitchen was well equipped, and a thoughtful welcome hamper of local produce awaited us. Inspired by the beautiful setting, I used a Rick Stein cookbook I found there to prepare a Provençal-style roast chicken—a meal my husband now insists becomes a regular at home. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace overlooking the landscape, a perfect start to the day. Evenings were spent by the fire in the kitchen’s sitting area, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and the abundance of prepared firewood. The super king-sized bed ensured a restful night, and the shower offered flawless water pressure and temperature—attention to detail that made a difference. The pool, set against the panoramic backdrop, deserves a full 10/10. Every aspect of the property reflects quality, care, and comfort. For stargazing enthusiasts, the clear night skies and absence of light pollution make this retreat truly magical. We left deeply impressed and in love with this property—its peaceful seclusion, impeccable maintenance, and romantic charm make it a perfect stay.

We have stayed in many wonderful houses in different parts of the world. Malardier is without doubt the most wonderful. Everything beautiful or useful (William Morris) mostly both. Having restored many houses ourselves we appreciate the enormous work involved. One forgets too easily the half built walls. What makes this house more special than most others is that it is a home. Every object has character and must carry a story. We were amazed at the gardens, how plants bloom in such a warm climate. We will no doubt remember different things, but all have lovely memories.
Couldn't have wished for more from everything provided, first class. Beautiful House and tranquil setting, we enjoyed the peace and quiet so much and what a view! Thank you for sharing this idyllic home.

We arrived at a large house that matched well and even more to what the photos showed. This is the first time we have found a vacation rental with so many dishes and kitchen supplies. As we were a large family with a few small children, this environment greatly favored the well-being of our stay. We sincerely thank our host for this generous sharing.
We are back home safely again after our enjoyable trip to France. And of course the best part was our stay in your lovely house. It is the best rental accommodation we have been in because of the feeling that we were in a real home - it is beautifully decorated with such attention to detail. There wasn’t anything that you didn’t provide in every room and such an amazing amount of activities to keep everyone amused. We re just sad that the grandchildren weren’t with us as they would have loved the pool and garden. We sent videos of the games room with the train track set up as my grandson has one at home!
We have had a wonderful week. The pool and garden are wonderful for the kids, whose week was made by a night swim! We have been to the rope climbing, canoeing and night market. The house really does have everything one could need or want. For the adults, the peace and calm and the location is brilliant. Merci!
We had a great time at this big house. It is very well-equipped for a dozen people. The pool is very appreciated, as well as the amenities offered (pétanque, badminton, ping pong...). Shops are accessible by car. The environment is very quiet, overlooking the fields and the forest which makes the house all the more pleasant.
In the middle of the vineyards in the countryside is this wonderful house, with a heated pool and a whirlpool. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to indulge in culinary delights. Within a very short time (25 minutes) you can reach the beaches of Vias and Valras. Large cities such as Béziers can be reached in 15 minutes. The hosts were very friendly and we really appreciated the communication to learn a little more about the area and the people. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stop by again soon.

A week that will remain in our memories for life! 13 members of our family stayed at the chateau for the most wonderful week. Staying in a castle was a new experience for all, especially for the children! The pool was much used and fully appreciated! Our host was a great support. We dined at his restaurant and he cooked a wonderful meal for us at the chateau! We explored local villages. Noyers was a delight as were Chablis and the local vineyards. This was a week that will remain in our memories for life!
We loved this place, which has magnificent views of Lake Annecy. Claude and Michelle were always very available to respond to our requests. A perfect experience.
We had a fantastic stay at Villa Bellara. Jean-Luc is a great host and explained all we needed to know upon arrival. The villa is spacious and has all the facilities you’ll need. Its location is perfect - no need for a car: boulangerie, supermarket, beach and restaurants all within a short walk, as is the train station which allows quick and cheap access to other resorts along the coast. Would thoroughly recommend this villa.
A lovely, comfortable home in a beautiful town. Pézenas is a fantastic place - you have a great location here. Thanks for all the tips and ideas in your folder - you obviously love the area and love exploring! The 'Estivals' (wine and local producers offer their products in the streets in the evening) of Pézenas were great fun and right on our doorstep, every Friday night in July and August.
Duras... I love cooking, the kitchen is wonderful and the city's market place is perfect for organising the perfect dinner.. the perfect kitchen is ready to prepare the table... the outdoor patio... the splendid terrace with a view of the valley or a dip in the swimming pool whilst having a barbecue!
We thoroughly enjoyed the castle I want to thank the owner again most sincerely for everything: for your kindness, your attentiveness, and your availability throughout this wonderful stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the castle and could certainly imagine returning soon.
We dined at the apartment in the evening as we didn't want to leave! We have just returned from a few days at the luxury pool apartment. The heated pool with the view is amazing. The house is well equipped and we dined at the apartment in the evening as we didn't want to leave. The host lives upstairs and was very helpful, collecting us from the bottom of the hill with shopping bags! We used Uber taxis to travel into Nice and to the airport which worked well.
We have had the most wonderful time in your lovely house, it feels incredibly homely and I can see why it is your pride and joy.
We’ve had an amazing time with beautiful weather and an amazing pool to cool down in! The location is perfect to get around and do some sightseeing. We recommend Perigueux, Brantome and market day in Riberac. Your house is one we won’t forget.
