Fantastic villa and pool-very well equipped. We all had a ball. Very sad to leave.
Our stay here was the highlight of our recent trip to the South of France. From the minute we drove through the gates we were impressed by the beautiful gardens, house and pool. It is truly a magnificent French retreat and estate. I couldn't recommend the house more highly and I am already planning another trip there soon.
I had the great pleasure of spending a fabulous week at this property. An oasis in the center of this charming french town. 3 minutes walk to the town where you find boulangeries selling fresh croissants in the morning; to lovely restaurants scattered around the cobbled back streets and a fabulous weekend market. The surrounding area has much to offer for those keen on exploring Agde, Sete or beautiful Marseillan, to name just a few. The property itself is decorated to the highest standard. You can see it was a labour of love. Stylish and yet homely. The bedrooms beautifully decorated light and airy. Beds so comfortable. The kitchen designed for entertaining. A huge open plan sitting and dining area perfect for a cosy family meal or a dinner party, as we enjoyed on more than one occasion. The outside area perfect for a long day lounging by the pool or chilling in the evening with the bbq going. A totally private setting! What more could one ask for. Great communication with the owner. Nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend this property, if you are looking for a 5 star experience in a stunning location.

Beautiful house in a great location. The house is spacious and has everything you would need and more. Very quiet and peaceful and the location was perfect, halfway between Montignac and the prehistoric sites and Sarlat and the Dordogne river. Florence the concierge was very helpful and responded quickly when needed. I highly recommend.

We can't get over how well set up it is. And we are having so much fun in the pool. This is the perfect place for us! Words fall short to paint a suitable picture of this delightful place. A most luxurious apartment in an extremely desirable location on the French Riviera. The apartment has all the amenities that one could wish for and the owners are superb - helpful, accommodating and simply nice people. The pool is fantastic and should you wish to discover the area - well - the location is perfect. We had a great stay at the villa and it is, as of now, our place of choice when vacationing in the South of France.
We had a fabulous time. The house and the pool were wonderful. Used this as a base to explore Narbone and Le Somail. Cédric was fantastic. Nothing was too much for him to help with.

After a cool and wet start, we have enjoyed a lovely sunny week exploring the area around this charming and well-appointed cottage. Even ventured a dip in the pristine pool! Thank you Caterina, Steve and Bennie.
Our week of vacation spent in your property was a success. The house is spotless, very, very clean and with a lot of attention (welcome products in the bathrooms, recent and clean linen, welcome basket, games). The barn with the ping pong table, darts, table football, billiards and where we could play sports, is wonderful. The long walks around the vines with Tutus delighted me, despite the showers. The Super U in Mirambeau has a very nice butcher's department. The meat is excellent. The fish department, with its oysters, shrimps and fish is also excellent. Tracy goes to great lengths to keep everything spotless when the vacationers arrive. The bouquet of fresh flowers on the table when we arrived was another attention that everyone noted.
Sure we had a very good time in this property, may be next year we can program a new visit to this very nice place.
We have had a truly marvellous time - it has all gone so quickly. We really enjoyed your company and your beautiful property. Very much looking forward to returning this time next year.
We've had another wonderful stay at Laserre gite. It has been our 3rd stay here and we love the gite, the surrounding views, the pretty villages and lots of good restaurants. Pete and Kate have been superb hosts and we could not have asked for anything more. We will be back next July.
Thank you Madeline and Alan for being the perfect hosts during our stay at the beautiful 'Camirout'. We had everything we needed for a fabulous stay! The house, grounds and pool are beautiful and it's just so peaceful here. Gavin had the perfect 'big birthday' here too so we will take back lots of wonderful memories of our stay with you. Our second stay here in the Cottage and it does not disappoint. The pool is just bliss. It has been very hot. We kept the shutters closed to keep the house cold. It worked. We noticed a distinct absence of mosquitoes this year too. This area has so much to offer we filled two weeks with amazing adventures. Thanks to previous guests, we found Fanlac, a truly beautiful village not far from here. Plazac too with its medicinal garden. On our final day we discovered Coly-St-Amand, an incredible little village with the most amazing fortified church. In this village, there is a lovely vegetarian café. The food is delicious and homemade: "Café Rapiette". As fo the bigger days out we once again were won over by the beautiful Jardins of Eyrignac. If you love gardens, this is one of the best in the world. the same can be said for jardins de Marqueyssac, which are well worth visiting. This time around, we visited Beynac. The château is our favourite. The views are quite incredible and you can see Richard The Lionheart's bedroom. Oh, quite a thing. In the village, is a superb restaurant, "La Petite Tonnelle". again, a superb vegetarian menu alongside the usual dishes, duck and foie gras. Nothing, on the château front can match Château de Losse in the village, it is absolutely breathtaking. Our second visit was just as amazing as our first. What a position it occupies. On this trip we also visited La-Roque-Saint-Christophe and Château de Hautefort, well worth returning to both as they are fascinating and there is always something new to learn. Our most interesting an remarkable find was "Cabanes du Breuil" don't miss it! This will leave you amazed! As for eating, we had superb food virtually everywhere. With no hesitation the very best place to eat is the Relais de Montignac in the forum. The presentation of the food is Masterchef level, but the price for three courses is less than a main course in the UK. It is excellent. As for markets, Montignac on a Wednesday is fun. Terrasson is also good, definitely bigger but after it you can go up to the Jardins de l'Imagination and they are fabulous. the Town is lovely. Make sure you walk along the older parts. Enjoy the cottage, enjoy the love, enjoy the town, enjoy the region. It's all amazing.
Wonderful family holiday in this stunning location. Perfect house for a triathlon! Would love to come back when our grandson is old enough to use all the facilities.

A more tranquil spot in France you will not find. The house has 360-degree views across stunning French countryside that rolls and undulates towards a backdrop of the Pyrenees. It feels like you're a million miles from the stresses and strains of modern life, another world and yet within 20 minutes drive you can be in a huge supermarket that will cater for all your needs. The house itself is incredibly comfortable, with all mod cons. It sleeps 14 people in great comfort, including in two well-appointed cottages in the grounds. And yet it retains its cosy feel. Some days we lazed by the pool and ate our meals on one of the terraces, other days – when it was cooler - we lit the fire and settled in. It's genuinely as comfy inside as it is outside, which is not always the case in French holiday lets. Our young children were in heaven. When not swimming or playing tennis, they roamed the five acres of immaculately kept grounds, building camps, rowing on the small lake. There's snooker croquet and table tennis too, if it's wet. And then of course there is the party room. Set well away from the grown-up bedrooms, the party room has a bar, DJ–quality speaker system and a proper disco – glitter ball, lights and all. Incredible fun. You really won't want to leave the château and grounds at all – it's a self-contained little hill-top world - but if you do have itchy feet then there are lots of walks nearby, or you can visit one of the many beautiful French towns nearby (Mirepoix market is a must). I cannot wait to return.
What a wonderful break away!! Mark and Gary have created a perfect haven…the attention to detail both internally and externally is amazing. Beautiful decor and art in the gite and a stunning pool area surrounded by nature and birdsong- it’s so restorative and peaceful. From the minute you arrive you feel looked after with the luxurious welcome hamper, cocktail on arrival and local artisan soaps and moisturisers throughout the gite. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Fabulous stay at Les Fumerates. Pool is 'top of the line'. Quiet villa high on a hillside. A few minutes walk from Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Everything is exactly as described. Highly recommended.
Merci! We have spent a wonderful week in your beautiful and charming home. It is so well equipped with everything that we would possibly need. We all loved the swimming pool and our 2 girls had great fun on the trampoline and playing ping-pong. We were delighted to visit Montsoreau again, 9 years after out last visit and 2 children now added to the mix. We had another lovely dinner at Le Montsoreau watching the glorious sunset over the Loire. Fresh bread every morning from Long was a treat. The weather has been perfect and the days with some cloud cover gave us great relief. Thank you for your hospitality.
