What a gorgeous week we've had here ! Annie and John have been so welcoming - inviting us for a much-needed glass of wine on our arrival. Not to mention all the helpgul local knowledge and information. We have loved the pool, sunshine and glorious garden. We would recommend the lovely Piglet Barn and Annie and John especially. Over the years we have holidayed as a family in numerous French villas and without a doubt La Charmante Distillerie knocks spots off the rest. The standard of accommodation, both practically and aesthetically is second to none: the AC works beautifully and silently, the car charger (22Kw) was brilliant (we had 2 EVs), the quality of fitments is of the highest standard, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms (all 4) impeccable. The decor and artwork are also very pleasing. Outside, the grounds are beautiful, the gardens well tended, and the pool area vast and everything you could wish for. We spent many happy lunchtimes under the pretty awning and used the excellent plancha barbecue. Mark and Gary were extremely welcoming and generous to a fault with the provisions and drink left for us. We weren't allowed to leave anything untouched! All in all, a fabulous home from home to spend with the family - we were two each over 3 generations, and we didn't fall out once. I can't recommend La Charmante Distillerie highly enough, and it was a pity we could only stay a week.

Beautiful, very quiet location. The swimming pool, the huge grounds and the electric bikes were very much appreciated by the whole family. Ideally exotic and invigorating holidays.

We are now home in Australia. We very much enjoyed staying in your house. The location was perfect for touring the region: we visited villages, vineyards and seaside towns. We loved Mèze in particular and the beach at Sète. It was very relaxing to come back to the house and cool off with a dip in the pool before dinner. We found the location of the house was very peaceful, but ideal for its proximity to Pèzenas. We would have no hesitation recommending your lovely home to our friends.

Our visit exceeded all our expectations. We came to this beautiful villa for a family reunion and a very special 60th birthday celebration. From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the charm, beauty and atmosphere of this property. The villa is absolutely stunning with plenty of space for everyone to relax, socialise and enjoy quality family time together. The surroundings are breathtaking and all of us made memories to last lifetime. We will treasure this for years to come. If you would have us again, then we will be back. Thank You! Five years ago, my brother was diagnosed with colon cancer. We decided to make a goal with something to look forward to. He said "let's do a trip to France!" Well, we finally made it but the pressure was on to find just the right place to relax and enjoy each other. Manoir Gascon was the perfect place. It was beyond our expectations and any photo on the internet. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with the best of everything - Sheets, soap, dishes, lounge chairs - it is all exquisite! can't wait to come back!
La Maison Cabanon felt like home! Perfect for a family holiday. We were blessed with great weather. Lots of cycling, swimming and food in a truly magical setting. We shall return!
Wonderful stay in a beautiful home. The house was very comfortable and the swimming pool was great. We spent some time in the nearby towns / villages. Pézenas, Vias, Béziers and Cap d'Agde. The Sunday morning market in Besson is a must. The area is great for cycling with all of the nearby villages easily accessible. Very sad to be leaving. Thank you very much.
We've had an excellent time in this beautiful villa. Sunbathing by the pool, swimming and rock climbing (just some of the things we've done). We hope to be back next year.

We had a simply exceptional weekend. The castle is very comfortable with one bathroom per room, the renovation is extremely well thought out and the attention to detail is very appreciable. It's modern and functional. The heating works perfectly well. There is everything you need on site (well-stocked kitchen, stereo, video projector, etc.) The packed wine tasting event on weekends and the walks in the vineyards at the foot of the castle are great. The staff on site is perfect.
Perfect Visit in Every Way. We have just returned from our time at Chateau Bourgogne, and I am struggling for words to adequately describe our visit. Of course, when you have planned accommodations in a structure begun in the 1100s, you are a little concerned on the modern conveniences on which one is now dependent. Put those fears at rest! The Castle has been carefully and thoughtfully updated and our stay could not have been more pleasant. The rooms, linens and private areas are all very comfortable. The baths have been updated and easily accommodate a large party. We used the kitchen often to deliver every type and level of meal – from a quick nosh – to a five-course delight. The Great Room is my favorite with a fire place large enough to walk in and efficient enough to keep all comfortable. There is a Bluetooth enabled speaker system for that added touch as you relax, and wi-fi to stay in touch with the outside world. We were close to other towns and day trips were easy and fun! My only complaint is that it was too cool to use the lovely pool or sit at the table at the front entry and admire what must be beautiful flowering vines that grace the entry – but we were graced with snow which was magical! We can’t wait to return!
We had a great time. The villa was fantastic and just as described. The concierge Sarah was tremendous and did so much to make our stay enjoyable answering all our questions and arranging a caterer one night. The whole experience was really excellent and we would happily use Oliver's Travels and this villa again.

We had a very good week at Le Manoir de la Compagnie. The property is very quiet, in a beautiful site (large garden, beautiful trees...). It is very well equipped: top bedding, sheets/towels/tea towels provided as well as shower gel and shampoo, large and well equipped kitchen, everything is well calibrated for a group of 12 adults. The rooms are large and well decorated. The owners are charming, available without being intrusive and have a family history that is interesting to discover. In short, I completely recommend this rental
Beautiful views, a lovely relaxing villa. We have really enjoyed the stay here. Minerve was worth a visit (town and caves), and the children really enjoyed it. The activities at the Carcassonne lake near Carcassonne.
A more tranquil spot in France you will not find. The house has 360-degree views across stunning French countryside that rolls and undulates towards a backdrop of the Pyrenees. It feels like you're a million miles from the stresses and strains of modern life, another world and yet within 20 minutes drive you can be in a huge supermarket that will cater for all your needs. The house itself is incredibly comfortable, with all mod cons. It sleeps 14 people in great comfort, including in two well-appointed cottages in the grounds. And yet it retains its cosy feel. Some days we lazed by the pool and ate our meals on one of the terraces, other days – when it was cooler - we lit the fire and settled in. It's genuinely as comfy inside as it is outside, which is not always the case in French holiday lets. Our young children were in heaven. When not swimming or playing tennis, they roamed the five acres of immaculately kept grounds, building camps, rowing on the small lake. There's snooker croquet and table tennis too, if it's wet. And then of course there is the party room. Set well away from the grown-up bedrooms, the party room has a bar, DJ–quality speaker system and a proper disco – glitter ball, lights and all. Incredible fun. You really won't want to leave the château and grounds at all – it's a self-contained little hill-top world - but if you do have itchy feet then there are lots of walks nearby, or you can visit one of the many beautiful French towns nearby (Mirepoix market is a must). I cannot wait to return.
