We spent 10 days with 8 people (children, grandchildren ) and our dog in À Côté de L'O. The summer heat was well tolerated thanks to the pool and air conditioning. The space is even more generous than it appears on the photos. A huge fenced garden right on the Canal. Narbonne, Gruissan, Bages... many beautiful experiences are easy to reach by car. The location in beautiful Le Somail. The early morning round for dog bathing at the Cesse. Shopping fresh croissants and baguettes on the Épicerie - boat. All in all : perfect!
We booked Château Velouse as we love the Loire region. Definitely not disappointed... the welcome from the hosts Claire and Phil was lovely, the rooms were huge in size and height, great ensuites, it can hold 16 adults plus 4 children. Loads of space in the extensive grounds which are walled and fenced, we felt very secure and great for children and our dog to explore. The large swimming pool was fantastic and spent a lot of time there lounging on luxury sun beds under the umbrellas (30C plus during our stay). We had some wonderful evening meals during our stay either outside patio area which seated us all with lovely lighting or inside in the huge dining room. As a group of family and friends we took turns to cook which was great fun and the kitchen is very well equipped to cater for a large group. We had trips out to Bourges, Sancerre and a day on a local golf course, all recommended
Had a great stay for the week. Villa was great, very spacious, pool was excellent. Excellent communication from start to finish, was greeted on arrival and Paul was on hand to help and support when needed for advice on tourism spots on what was going on around town. Great location to Béziers and Narbonne. Villa was spacious and felt like a home from home. Location in the village is really safe and quiet. I would highly recommend.

The place is amazing, it's perfect for sharing special moments with friends and family.There were 9 of us meeting for the weekend in the beautiful cottage restored by Christophe's hands. Everything was perfect, from communication before the stay, Christophe's welcome and his legendary conviviality! The cottage is very well equipped, the decoration is also very beautiful and the place allows you to party well. Fabulous villa with view. Staying at the property made our vacation unforgettable. We were a group of 8 and the house was plenty big enough for all of us adults. The terrace with the pool was unbelievable. We spent many evenings dining and laughing and enjoying the beautiful view which showed the city of Grasse in the distance sparkling. The house was spotless and decorated beautifully. Every amenity was available. The owners were so helpful with any question. We can't wait to return to the Côte d'Azur and this house.
We have been visiting France on a regular basis for very many years. In more recent times we have been searching for a place that we might return to, and return to; a home away from home. We need look no more. The Loft is beautiful and a testament to great care and wonderful taste. The garden is inspirational, Mack and Mabel are a delight and Rieux is just what we had hoped for. Above all we think that we have been fortunate in meeting such kind and wonderful hosts who we now regard as friends. In summary our whole experience has been truly exceptional.

Wow, what a huge privilege to be the first entry into what we know will become a book full of compliments, acclaim and thanks to a very special couple who are creating a very special place. The house and gardens are an amazing reflection of the style and care and attention to detail that Russell and Karen are putting into what we know will become one of Languedoc's gems. Their un-intrusive but 'nothing is too much trouble' nature brings a relaxed and caring environment. The Loft is a lovely haven to relax in and contemplate the beautiful world around you. We look forward to returning and wish you all the very best.
We spent a fantastic fortnight at Villa Bellara in June 2023. The property was immaculate and made us feel instantly at home. Our party was made up of three couples and a baby but the Villa is so large that each couple had their own floor with one room left unused. Each air-conditioned bedroom had access to a bathroom and dressing area. The kitchen is large and well equipped for cooking and preparing drinks and nibbles . We also made use of the Weber gas BBQ. We have never had a heated pool in France before; we used it every day and relaxed on the three secluded terraces. We have visited Cros De Cagnes many times and can recommend the area for holiday makers who do not wish to hire a car. The Villa is set in a quiet residential area but is only a 15 minute walk down to the beachfront with its bars and restaurants. There is a nearby supermarche and several boulangeries within a short walk. You can easily access the train or bus for trips into Nice or beyond. The owner Jean Luc was extremely hospitable and took the time to walk us through all aspects of the Villa. He made it clear we could contact him if the slightest problem arose. We would highly recommend Villa Bellara and hope to return in the future.
We loved staying in your beautiful home. The facilities, garden, decor and views were stunning. Frederic has looked after us so well. We have taken long country walks, visited local villages and markets. We went to Les Eyzies for tones of incredible caves including Rouffignac. Absolutely delicious property in a beautiful part of the world. The property is very well maintained and rustic. I can recommend to any group planning a stay in the Dordogne. Our stay was in mid April when the weather started to improve. 26 degrees on our last day, perfect!

Magnificent old sheepfold, spacious, bright, and comfortable. The views are incredible with its large heated pool and park. Everything is within driving distance: supermarkets, typical villages, restaurants, and multiple excursions. And finally, the owners are attentive and absolutely charming!

The villa was absolutely stunning and located in a quiet location as mentioned in the description (the only noise being crickets but that was soothing). The lay out of the house in 3 separate buildings really worked for our extended family group, additionally different areas in the garden in which you could sit enabled people to have some quiet time if needed. I would recommend the restaurants in the village, although be aware they don't open on a Monday. A very enjoyable and restful stay.
We spent a week at Villa Valente. We liked it so much, that we would love to return next year.
The house is stunning and the pictures on line do not do it justice, we will be sorry to leave at the end of our stay.
