We have spent many happy holidays in France, but as this year is our 40th wedding anniversary we thought we should look for somewhere really special - and we found it! The house is a delight and the garden is the most beautiful place to rest and relax. The countryside around is very peaceful and charming and we greatly enjoyed the nearby towns and villages. The abbey at Fontevraud was a special highlight and the châteaux at Saumur, Chinon and Angers, which we last visited more than 30 years ago, were all well worth visiting again - so much restoration work has been done in the intervening years. We also liked the Corniche Angevine which runs along the South bank of the Loire between Rochefort and Challones and the many wine growing areas. Many thanks for your warm welcome and kind hospitality.
We had a lovely stay under the mulberries this summer. The house is well located near the river Aude where we had a lovely day kayaking and a short cycle ride from several lovely villages and markets. Thank you for a lovely stay. Highly recommended.
We've had a blissful week here. The house is beautifully and very stylishly renovated and is extremely comfortable and easy to live in. The surrounding environment is stunning. We've loved picking fresh figs straight from the tree breakfast and getting to know the local wines.

We had a beautiful fou-poster suite with claw footed bath in this attractive country château. We enjoyed a lazy week in glorious sunshine in August dipping in and out of the outdoor heated swimming pool. The château has extensive grounds in which to walk off dinner and is surrounded by peaceful countryside. Bourges was a great place to visit, both cathedral, palace and gardens were a must-see. We were with a large party of friends who took it in turns to cook and we ate outside on the terrace watching the sun go down.
Dearest Madeline and Alan, thank you so much for yet another amazing stay with you at Camirout. It has been as wonderful as always. This time we visited Pujols – definitely worth a visit, such a cozy little town. We are looking forward to coming back in a year. Thank you and see you in 50 short weeks. Big hugs.

Thank you Karen and Russell for giving us the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful place. The Loft du Vigneron is one of the nicest places we have stayed, and we have stayed in many. The warm welcome we received when we arrived was lovely after our tiring journey. It was great to have you show us around, and your welcome pack was more than generous. The facilities here are all 5-Star; the Loft is spacious and airy, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and crockery and everything that you need, and more besides. All the ensuite bathrooms are of the highest standard with fluffy towels and pamper products (I want a new bathroom when I go home - I was spoiled here). Karen and Russell, you really know how to look after your guests and spoil them. We can't wait to come back next year for two weeks - one was not enough!
Absolutely stunning. We visited the house last summer and had an absolutely amazing time. The house is stunning with views over to Grasse and down toward Cannes. As a family of 5 (children 8, 5 and 12 months), it had everything we needed including a god sized pool and the interiors of the house are beautiful. It is a short drive to the local supermarket and amenities and only 20 minutes drive to the beaches of Cannes and Antibes. Nearby Mougins and Grasse provide an abundance of restaurants. A car is a must as the house is accessed up a steep road but views are spectacular. We can't wait to visit again this summer.
Our holiday for the past week in this beautiful property has been nothing but a 5 star experience. Thierry and Philippe provided everything to such a high and professional standard for us. The house and pool area were perfect in every way. So peaceful and relaxing, we would definitely return and would advise anyone in booking, to do so.
Maison Forgeron is a fantastic house, four large bedrooms with bathrooms, plenty of living space, lovely garden with a great pool. It is decorated to a very high standard and extremely well equipped. In all, a perfect destination for a gathering of families.
The perfect holiday home. Beautifully furnished with a huge pool, deck and garden. It's spacious and airy and perfectly situated for a family holiday. Homps is a charming little town within easy reach of Carcassonne and Narbonne. We loved the pizzeria next door and the corner shop on the quayside selling fresh bread daily. We can't wait to go back!
On a family weekend, everyone was charmed and delighted by Sue's house. Very large, comfortable and nicely decorated house with a beautiful garden and swimming pool, ideally located on the banks of the Canal du Midi. Sue is very friendly and welcoming. We recommend and will return for a relaxing weekend.

Rachel and Anthony made us feel welcome and were on hand, if needed, for any information. It was the best gite we have stayed at in twenty years of holidaying in France. Recommend taking train into Carcassonne from Bram. It is so easy and only 15 minutes or so.
I wanted to be sure I sent you a note of thanks, for the glamorous week we had at Château Monjardin! Our week was filled with day trips and culinary delights. We love the space your Château provides and felt very comfortable there, we didn't want to leave. Thank you for a wonderful vacation filled with fond memories.

Thank you! We have spent a glorious week at The Loft, which feels like a home away from home. You have been fabulous hosts, and your suggestions of places to visit and vineyards to try have been spot on. After ‘confinement’ in Paris for many months, the pool was a joy. We love the garden and it’s shady spots and enjoyed Mack and Mabel’s company. We can see why people return to this wonderful place, and we hope to be one of them very soon. Thank you for a lovely holiday. Your home is beautiful, so well equipped and very clean. The pool has been amazing, so wonderful to cool down in and the children have had a blast playing in it everyday. We have loved Lagrasse, Carcassonne City and the lake near Carcassonne was a particular highlight for the children. We ate at the Vins de Dagne a couple of evenings and the food and wine were great. Shame the shop was closed, it would have just made things a bit easier but the croissants / baguettes we ordered from Vins de Dagne were super. Mosquitos were a bit of a pain and the extreme heat towards the end of our stay - but that's nature! Also, thanks so much for all your help and tips !

We were absolutely overwhelmed by beauty, tranquility and views surrounding the wonderful home. Such a privilege to spend time here forming special memories with the family - especially celebrating a significant birthday! We enjoyed the gorgeous pool, BBQ'd, had a vineyard tour and wine tasting, kayaked on the Dordogne and much more.
