We had a great time and even got some good weather at the end of the week. Thanks very much for letting us stay - it's a very special place.
We all had a very enjoyable 2 weeks in La Montade, the villa was very well equipped and a beautiful setting. The weather was also brilliant!
We absolutely loved Maison de la Calade. A beautiful villa in a gorgeous location with stunning views. Five stars from us. Beautifully decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean (We met the cleaning girls upon arrival who were lovely and welcoming and very helpful) very well stocked in terms of everything you need. We had a mixture of ages and there was something for everyone, room to socialise if we wanted to but plenty of nooks to escape to. The gorgeous sized pool In the lovely garden grounds was a huge hit in the August heat. Biot although up a hill is only a stones throw away and has lots of great restaurants - we'd love to come back one day.
Wow! What an amazing house in such a wonderful location! We've just come back from spending a week here and I was so sad to leave. The house is incredibly comfortable and beautifullt decorated. You really couldn't ask for a better location - the street is very peaceful (we didn't hear a thing, despite sitting out in the garden until late in the evening, every night) and yet you are in the centre of town within few minutes walk - we loved strolling into the main part of town for an ice cream in the day or a drink at night. Parking is easy; we didn't use the garage in the end despite having two cars between us. The pool is wonderful, especially when its really hot and the decked area and BBQ just make the garden a really relaxing, usable space to enjoy.
You beat me to it! I’d been meaning to email to say what an excellent time we’ve been having and to thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful home. It’s such a gorgeous spot, the weather has been perfect and we love the fact that the house feels like a much loved family home so thank you for sharing it with us. It is so well equipped and comfortable, with a lovely ambience - we are greatly enjoying relaxing and eating meals in all the different beautiful spots in the garden. No practical problems and everything seems in order. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.
Just packing our bags for our homeward journey after a fantastic two weeks here in your lovely house in Faugeres! After a long journey we were delighted to arrive at your welcoming house. Our stay here has been more than comfortable with everything we needed and more at our fingertips. Your information booklet proved invaluable.

A lovely base for our 2 weeks! The outside covered area + kitchen were great. We spent most of our stay set there watching the amazing wildlife! We saw deer, lizards, hawks + even got to see the baby birds nesting over the door to the outside loo leave the nest! Monflanquin was beautiful! Cathy + Stéphane were lovely + we loved watching Stéphane's 2 CV car driving around! Thank you.
I think I can speak for all 11 of us in saying we had a wonderful holiday at La Barde once again. I'd never been so early in the year before (in May), but we still used the pool every single day. The advantage of coming a little earlier this year was seeing your garden in full glory and the Dordogne before being 'bleached' by the sun - and we really enjoyed burning logs on the huge open fire in the kitchen every late evening (it's normally too warm for this!). Everything was just right, Helen, as usual (and beds even more comfortable than last time)! I always enjoy the mixture of authentic farmhouse and stylish chic design of La Barde. And it was as peaceful and relaxing as ever - batteries are recharged!

Thank you both so much for a magical 5-night stay. We have absolutely loved staying here and will miss it when we go home! The gîte is amazing, beautiful inside and out. We really appreciate all of your efforts for making our stay so comfortable. Such a lovely touch having fresh bread, eggs and veg from your garden waiting for us - perfect. Lovely quiet gîtes with beautiful views over the wine fields. Close to Uzès, a very pretty historical market town (20 min. by car). The gîtes provide everything you need, i.e. comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, cosy sitting room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a swimming pool with lounge beds and our gîte (L'Oliveraie) even had a small private pool. The area is great for walk through the woods and over the wine field. There are restaurants in the area that are a short drive away. We had a great and relaxing time and will definitely be back!
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house, beside the river. Everything really comfortable and close to lots of things to do. We had a lovely day in Bordeaux visiting the fantastic cathedral and the great shops. Sadly, we are going home tomorrow but will remember our visit fondly.
Thank you for giving us two amazing weeks at your villa. The pool is one of the best we have seen and garden is just stunning. The villa is beautifully decorated and we have all found it vey comfortable. We've have two lovely weeks exploring the surrounding area, without a single minute of television! We certainly had a restful and memorable holiday at Château Monjardin... the house and grounds are magnificent and provided a lovely quiet retreat that the whole family enjoyed.
Château du Mas is magnificent. The rooms are well proportioned with high ceilings so always feels cool. The is so much to explore in the grounds and great tuning trails. Great BBQ for outdoor al fresco dining. Huge table under a pergola for long leisurely lunches or dinners. The swimming pool is lovely and a great size for lengths with lots of loungers. Sharp, sharp knives. First time ever in a rental! Huge range cooker which is immaculate. Blenders, graters and simple to use bottle opener! The owners were fabulous! Our children are 9 and 12 and they loved playing the Wii in the playroom. Wish I had found the château when they were a baby and a toddler as tons of toys to occupy them with.10/10. 5 star throughout. Recommended.
