We had a great week at Maison Lemance in August. We were two families with grown up children and partners but there was still plenty of space for everyone. The extensive garden and terrace was ideal for outside dining and chilling out around the pool in the sunshine as well as providing more energetic activities such as table tennis, badminton and boules. With no light pollution, there was some stunning night time star gazing. The house was well equipped to accommodate and cater for our large party. For those who wanted to drag themselves away from the pool, there was plenty to do including bustling night markets and trips to Bergerac and Cahors. Sam was a terrific host and was very helpful and accommodating before and during our stay.
Thank you so much for the most restful and enjoyable holiday we have had in ages! Everything was made so easy for us - the Loft is fitted out perfectly with so many additional little touches that we wanted for nothing. We particularly enjoyed the barbecue, the fantastic coffee machine (we're buying one when we get home!) and having breakfast and dinner on the amazing terrace. We had a good look round the local area and were particularly grateful for all your tips and recommendations. You have both been the most wonderful hosts and we have really enjoyed getting to know you over a glass of something cold! Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
Thank you for giving us two amazing weeks at your villa. The pool is one of the best we have seen and garden is just stunning. The villa is beautifully decorated and we have all found it vey comfortable. We've have two lovely weeks exploring the surrounding area, without a single minute of television! Wow! what a start to the summer. Very hot, lovely weather, plums aplenty (from garden trees), walks to Eglise de Senezelles, daily visits to the bakery in Cancon, fab Monday markets, much swimming, pool/snooker, BBQs, card games, a very dramatic thunder storm and 18 wonderful books (from the Bosc Grand shelves) read collectively. The stuff of family holiday dreams. We hope to be back!

I just wanted to say what a fantastic time we all had at Maison Semoussac. Everything we could have asked for was catered for and we all had a wonderful time from the grandmothers to the youngest child. The house is beautiful and the views and surrounding area are also. We found the locals very friendly and accommodating and loved visiting the patisserie each morning for fresh bread and croissants. The weather was extremely hot but even this did not create any problems as the children either played in the shepherd's hut, the play room or back at the house to cool off although they did spend a huge amount of time in the pool! I even managed a run along the footpaths while it was slightly cooler past the beautiful sunflower fields.
Maison Capitelle exceeded our expectations. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.
Beautiful maintained home and grounds. Excellent facilities for young families. All modern and child / baby amenities provided. Daily housekeeping was an added bonus compared to previous holiday rentals.
I love the pool. This holiday has been the best! Le Glacier is a big restaurant. The food is lovely and you get presents in your ice cream. I want to come again!
We had a very good week of vacation with 2 families. The villa is superb, well equipped and maintained. The heated swimming pool is really a plus, the children really enjoyed it. The owners, who live nearby, are friendly and available. We will return with great pleasure if the opportunity arises. We are strongly recommend this rental.
We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very nice, bright, very well equipped. The large terrace overlooking the small harbour and the sea is at the top, with the sound of cicadas. The living space is very bright and pleasant to live in. The kitchen is very well equipped. Local shops, including a large Giant Casino, are accessible by car, on Beaulieu, 5 minutes by car. Even if access to the station and bus is quite simple, prefer the car... or the boat, because the port is at the bottom of the building.
La Maison Cabanon felt like home! Perfect for a family holiday. We were blessed with great weather. Lots of cycling, swimming and food in a truly magical setting. We shall return!
As we leave les rocans, I must say that you have a beautiful house. We have enjoyed our stay immensely. Loved the country decor and the views. We will remember the stay there and will recommend it to our circle of friends.

Thank you so much for a wonderfully relaxing stay at your ‘Loft’. We have stayed here many times before under previous ownership, but we must say that you have moved it up several notches! The attention to detail is second to none; from the luxurious ‘The White Company’ products to all the goodies in the fridge and cupboards - very much appreciated. The terrace, garden and pool are just so peaceful that we haven’t ventured far! Most of all thank you for being there and for your wonderful company. We hope there will be many more visits to come. Very pleasant and restful stay for an extended family. My extended family and I stayed at Château Velouse for two weeks in August. It was a delightful time. The hosts are exceptional. We were treated to a warm welcome after arriving later than usual, after a long and tiring journey. All we needed for supper and the following day's breakfast was provided free and with no fuss. That set the tone for the rest of the stay. The hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful throughout our time there. Château Velouse easily absorbs a large number of people. High ceilings and wide hallways give a great sense of space. The rooms are large and comfortable. The ensuites are of a high standard and the grounds are magnificent. We all had a magical time. Our sincere thanks to Claire and Phil and Alex for all you did to make this post wedding get together a wonderful success.
We have had the most wonderful time at Maison des Hirondelles. The villa is beautiful and had everything we needed, so clean, comfortable and well thought out. Thank you for making us feel so welcome Cédric. Our daughter Edie, who is 8 months old had a wonderful time in the swimming pool and very much enjoyed her first holiday here in France. We visited Narbonne, Carcassonne, Gruissan, Minerve (fantastic chocolate shop!), Béziers, Canal du Midi with the 9 locks. Thank you for showing us your wine cellar, such a lovely touch. We would love to come back.
Beautiful house with pool, nice and private yet a short walk into the centre of Sarlat. The house is very well equipped and cosy for those days when the weather didn’t play ball! The surrounding area has so much to offer. We will be back. We had a wonderful family vacation in your beautiful house. We will definitely be back. Sun, river, pool, food, canoes! What more do you need... Oh and wine!

Fabulous, family and friends holiday rental. 10 of us recently stayed here for a group break. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The owners were so helpful and accommodating, they really made this a special place to stay. The house is beautifully furnished and comfy, the grounds are beautiful and there's lots to do in the area as well if you don't just want to lounge around by the pool soaking up some sunshine. Thoroughly recommended.
This is a wonderful place to stay: we, a couple, spent two weeks at Carcavi in September 2022. We wanted a quiet break in comfort and luxury and the house was everything we had hoped for and more. The house itself is very well equipped and has comfy seating and a good bed :-) Carcavi is spacious and beautiful, the grounds are extensive and the pool is excellent. It is very peaceful. There was a generous hamper of food and drink items to get us started. The whole property is cared for to a high standard. There is lots of information in the house itself and of course more is readily available from hosts Rupert and Debbie. We read a lot, enjoying the various places to sit, we swam and M examined the varied local plants and invertebrates with enthusiasm. We enjoyed walks in the adjacent woods and valley. Thanks so much to Rupert and Debbie for letting us use the house phone to call the duty chemist when the urgent need arose, really appreciated.
Well to start with I had such a great time at Villa Kali, the pool is utterly fabulous and the beds are comfy! I love the nature / fig trees / lizards / frogs and more! Luckily France was hot. I love the table tennis, its great. Visit the town centre, great shops. We went to the beach and got a little sunburnt - Whoops! Great holiday, hope to come again.
Thank you for letting us stay in your house. I loved the swimming pool and my bedroom. We found some secret stairs as well.
