We had a lovely week enjoying the beautiful house and pool and breakfast and barbecues outside. We had highly variable weather but that enabled us to discover Périgueux and Saint-Émilion. We highly recommend Aubeterre and the bar Brasserie in Verteillac Le Calice. Many thanks.
We have enjoyed several wonderful visits to this most delightful property set in bucolic rolling countryside. The house is elegant and extremely comfortable, giving maximal privacy inside and out so that guests can enjoy the peace, whether swimming in the lovely pool, or just relaxing in shade or sun. There is also a lovely terrace for al fresco dining and a fabulous collection of books. The creation of the gardens is masterful . We loved the nearby market in Condom and the creamy stone architecture of the area.
What a fabulous week we have had with great friends in this lovely villa. Thanks Galina for making us so welcome. The villa has answered all our needs, have loved the pool, boules court and the bikes have been great to get out and explore.
We had an amazing stay at your wonderful house. The setting was wonderful and we had a truly relaxing time. The scenery was a joy. We also liked the beautiful village / hamlet with such a wonderful church. We met many French people who were exceptionally friendly. We cooked with all the fresh produce from the markets and ate outside surrounded by hay bales! Thank you for such an amazing week.
We fell under the spell of the Château du Marquisat. Completely renovated with great taste, you will find the charm of yesterday and all the comfort of today. Although we stayed there in winter, we were able to appreciate this beautiful region of Minervois, the proximity of the Canal du Midi and the beaches of the Mediterranean. In addition, the owners are really welcoming, we only have one wish: to return in summer!
The accommodation is beautiful in a quiet (somewhere nowhere). A very beautiful property with old trees and delicious fruit trees. The pool is large and with salt water instead of chlorine. The interior of it is tastefully decorated. Stan is a friendly host. For those who want to be calm, spacious and relaxed you are at the right place.
What a wonderful house. Superb vistas - just like a second home - we don't want to leave (which is why we are still here!). We've explored, swam all day in the pool, drunk many bottles of Rose and canoed. Thank you so much.

An amazing house with the best swimming pool we have ever seen! 16 of us stayed in this lovely house for 2 weeks as we took the little gîte as well. We had a fabulous holiday. You have to drive up through fields of sunflowers to get there – a great welcome. We had loads of children but the pool is so big they spent the whole time doing acrobatics in it – and there was still room for us adults, when we managed to peel ourselves off the sun loungers. Evenings were spent playing tennis on the courts in the house grounds, BBQs, or local restaurants.
Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! I fell under the spell of this beautiful, atypical residence. Its proximity to the Duras castle gives it a magical touch... There is all the necessary comfort for visitors and the bedding is quality. On one side of the residence, breathtaking view of the beautiful swimming pool and the valley and on the other side, magical view of the castle fortifications. I will not reveal any more and leave the pleasure to the next visitors of discovering the other little treasures that this house hides. The village of Duras is typical of small provincial towns with its beautiful and colorful local market. In the evenings, very good festive atmosphere.
Wow! What a place, this week in your amazing château has been a once in a lifetime find. The attention to detail in every room is stunning! Thank you so much for letting us experience your wonderful château. The whole party had a terrific time and will be talking about it for many years!
We had a wonderful week at La Foret! A beautiful home and grounds, we hardly left the pool. A perfect place to relax and unwind, great for extended family time together. Thanks! We hope to return.
One cannot improve on Perfection! Where then should we begin with our praiseworthy comments ?! Should we start by mentioning the welcoming warmth and engaging, positively colourful, accomplished characters that were our hosts, the exquisite taste, elegant and classic style of decor and furnishings presenting a regal, yet comfortable, homely feel, the 15th Century magic of years of History in every corner, the scrumptious and generous welcome pack, the quiet peace of the surroundings and the relaxing, yet vibrant courtyard, bursting with greenery, punctuated by subtle pops of colour from scented roses amongst other floral tributes outside and in, including delicate orchids enhancing every room, also hung with original artwork and beneath our feet, Persian and exotic rugs to soften our tread... I could go on, but I think you get my drift! The understated luxury of this homely, comfortable haven away from the busy, demanding lives we seek to escape on holiday, has achieved the perfect balance and we look forward tremendously to another visit when life allows! If you’re lucky enough to secure a booking...You’ll love it too!

We had a brilliant family holiday at Mas de Lozanne in June 2022, The house and pool were perfect for 6 adults and a baby; a very quiet location but still a short walk into the beautiful town of Pézenas. We plan to return in 2025.
The house and the grounds were fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc. comfortable. The kids loved the swings, etc + the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. Catering service was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. Very friendly service, nothing was too much to ask. The owners are never on top of us but there if needed. Much appreciated. Fantastic holiday, thank you.

We’ve had a wonderful time thank you. Yes, it did get pretty hot last week, but coming from England we shouldn’t moan..! It’s such a stunning location and the house is very comfortable and cool in the heat. We really don’t want to go home but I’m afraid we have to… Maybe we can come again next summer?
What an absolute joy to spend in such a wonderful house. We have had such a lovely fortnight and will miss the view and the birdsong each morning, but hope to see it all again one day’.
We've had an amazing time thanks. Visited as many places as the kids will tolerate and we somehow did the Renoir museum without breaking anything!! They’ve both absolutely loved the pool and their swimming has improved loads. Our youngest, Hal, has gone from tentatively swimming 5m to now confidently doing 20 lengths without stopping. We had a great weekend with friends at Mas du Château. Everything was very clean, the house is comfortable and very well decorated, perfectly equipped. We were not able to take advantage of the swimming pool because of the weather. Excellent communication before our arrival and during our stay, very responsive host. Thank you Christophe, we recommend without a second thought!!

We had a lovely stay. so tranquil, with a view of the Dordogne river. Lovely enclosed courtyard garden, ideal for al fresco dining and BBQ. We enjoyed sitting by the pool watching the birds in the trees and popping in and out of holes in the wall. Not too far from some of the hot spots such as Sarlat, Domme and La Roque-Gageac, so we could enjoy a day out but still manage to get back to the peace and quiet of Maison Bourg Calès to relax.
