We had an absolutely lovely time. The villa is very comfortable and well equipped. The gym, large pool and garden are fantastic. I give this villa a score of 10 out of 10, we will be back next year.
An absolutely fabulous villa, decorated and furnished inside and out to an exceptional standard. Perfect location with an amazing pool and relaxation area. Very efficient air conditioning. The advertising for this villa does not do it justice. Facilities like this are hard to find in a holiday rental.

A lovely relaxing holiday in a beautiful property in a fantastic part of the country. The morning bread delivery was especially welcome and the bread itself has been superb! We tried all of M. Marty's restaurant recommendations and were not disappointed. Will especially miss the fabulous scenery from all corners of the house!

We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. Cottage du Jardin is a lovely place to stay in a beautiful area. It is newly refurbished and has a very classic country feel inside. Gorgeous furnishings and all the facilities that you need for a self-catering stay. The bathrooms are great. The mattresses are firm but the bedrooms are comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need, we never felt the need for anything that wasn't to hand. The hosts are very welcoming and have the right balance of checking in and leaving you to it (they live next door). They were able to tell us about local restaurants and must-visit places which was really handy. The pool is very nice, clean and very large for the size of the property. The village is lovely and Montignac is only a few minutes by car, this is a good-sized town with banks and a supermarket. Would recommend!
Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the friendly owners. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature and the pool area was superbly secluded. The well kept gardens boasted pétanque, badminton and croquet, with numerous named specimen trees, which offered sought after shady spots and always a place to see those sought after sunsets. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, local shops in villages are a short drive away with larger towns containing hyper markets around 20 minutes drive away. All in all a great house, pool and garden well located for the local sights and scenery of the Dordogne.
Thank you for an amazing stay again. I have really enjoyed playing in the garden when it was a lovely day. On one of the days, I even went into the pool when the water was 17 degrees! Sam has become Mack's best friend!
What an amazing experience, in a truly beautiful part of France (and new to us all). The house is lovely as well as the 360° views - magical! The kids loved the pool and we managed to get them out for food, sleep and car!

We have had a fantastic week on holiday. This house is in an amazing position with panoramic views in all directions. Enjoyed cooking and relaxing in the pool. Thank you for having such a comfortable well equipped house. We did not need for anything. A great choice of cycling routes. We hope to return.
Stayed at the property for two weeks at the end of July. The property has been beautifully renovated and most things are on hand at the villa. The house has everything that’s needed for family and friends to enjoy from a great kitchen to a nice garden and patio and good sized pool. All in all this is a beautiful house in a lovely setting and I would certainly return.

Villa with indisputable view. Everything you need for cooking. Great swimming pool, lighting around it for the evening would be the icing on the cake. Sublime view. Very responsive owner and excellent arrival and departure organization. Quiet and typical village.
We have been to Maison Baleyssagues so many times and once again it has been a wonderful time. There's so much to entertain here and it gets the family together. I don't want to leave but I still have home.
Pete has been a brilliant host with lots of recommendations. Thank you! We have had a fantastic stay at a beautiful location. With our 3 children (12, 10 and 7) we have really enjoyed Chateau de Biron – lots of outdoor toys / games for the kids + a nice picnic area. Lac de Lougratte – safe swimming / paddling for little ones, a diving pontoon and inflatable courses for older ones. Take a picnic! Canoeing (Canoe Rabaska) + Monflanquin night market at Loubéjac.

Many thanks for a wonderful stay. You have made the place very comfortable and welcoming and so safe for children. So many interesting things to discover in the region to. The villa has been great. We have a lot of villas for a two week holiday and that is the first time we have had that. The two cleaning ladies are really thorough, very attentive and they do a great job.
You have been excellent hosts - helpful but never intrusive. The Loft is a lovely place to stay - stylish, comfortable and very well equipped for a baby. A cool, wet start to the week was more than made up for by Karen's delicious cake! It has been such a pleasure discovering this corner of France.
Beautiful setting, fantastic space. Well kept both inside and out. Facilities were fantastic. Great pool - child friendly and garden toys were a perfect addition too. Lovely family holiday enjoyed by all ages.
We stayed with a group of friends for the week before our wedding and we could not have asked for a more perfect place to have some quality time and enjoy the great pool! We were also treated to a bottle of champagne for our wedding. What a great place! Would highly recommend.
