Magnificent residence. Spacious. Comfort. Lots of games available. I recommend.
How appropriate to stay in this house and emerge ourselves in the Medieval village of Sarlat! Relaxing by the pool with a cool glass of wine was perfect after a long day of wandering through the town or the beautiful pays de la Dordogne!
This year we opted for a “green” vacation with 2 couples of friends and their children (in total 6 adults and 5 children) and were very happy with our rental. It’s never easy with the internet and what a great discovery on arrival: a huge, superbly renovated house. Great comfort in this beautiful stone building, in a very preserved natural setting. The rooms are magnificent and particularly large, the 2 mezzanine bedrooms were occupied by the children by adding an additional bed. The collective spaces are also very neat (comfort, decor) and pleasant to live in, special mention for the kitchen equipped with professional equipment, spacious and equipped with much more than is necessary. The pool is even bigger than it looks in photos. For the youngest children we closed it with the electric shutter, practical and efficient. The garden is ideal for a change of scenery and contemplation, the setting is absolutely beautiful. In the end we regretted having only rented for a week, the house is so pleasant that we wanted to stay there and relax but we will come back to continue discovering the Cévennes. In short, an excellent stay and a rental to recommend.
We felt very comfortable here in this house with the beautiful garden and pool. Peacefulness, rest and relaxation - What more would you want? We particularly appreciated how attentive and helpful people were in Bessan and Agde as we needed help for our little Leah. We have greatly enjoyed our time, recovered and will definitely come back. An amazing holiday at an amazing property. We are a family of 6 adults and 6 children and holidayed at Domaine de Nérige at the beginning of May. What a treat!!! Sandie and David were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make it a dream holiday. The house was vast so we could all have our own space and the pool was a real hit once we bought wetsuits for the kids. The terrace area was great with the BBQ and it was lovely to be able to eat outside. The house had everything we could have wished for. There was even a supply of wine and beer on hand in case we didn’t want to travel to the supermarkets. Sandie arranged treatments for us with two brilliant therapists and it was so relaxing. Sandie also cooked a meal on one of the nights and it was fabulous. We even got the recipes for the food we had chosen. Great area with lots to do. We all agreed we could never hope to better it. Thank you Sandie and David.
Wonderful family holiday in this stunning location. Perfect house for a triathlon! Would love to come back when our grandson is old enough to use all the facilities.
I had a great stay at Le Mas de Combet with a group of 9 adults and 2 infants as we were attending a wedding nearby at Chateau de St Paul (c. 10 - 15 minutes drive) The house was clean, well equipped and very peaceful and private. The villa is remote so a car is definitely required but it's a beautiful setting with wonderful views of the countryside and the pool was well used during our stay! We had a couple of days of rain but the house is so comfortable and has plenty of space for indoor and outdoor entertaining. One small note was that there is no soap, shower gel or shampoo provided as described on the listing but that was a very minor inconvenience which was easily resolved. Dermod, our contact was extremely helpful and responsive and even personally arranged a lift for one of our party back from the wedding venue (thanks to Patricia!). Thanks for a great stay - we would definitely recommend!
Excellent. We had a great time. Everything is done to have a pleasant holiday, from the warm welcome of the owners, to the services of the perfectly equipped and appointed villa. A memorable family vacation that we will always remember.

What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. Wonderful two weeks stay. So peaceful at Mas de Pitou and so much nearby that we never had need to travel beyond where we could reach by foot or bike. The house manager Carole couldn't have been more helpful.
An amazing week of relaxation. Spent a fantastic week at Château Velouse. Located in a tiny village the château is just a short drive from lots of interesting locations in the Loire valley. Château Velouse has everything you need for a relaxing week - beautiful bedrooms, lovely outdoor pool, barbeque and al fresco dining area and lovely dining room and lounge. We chose to self-catering but there are options to hire in a chef to prepare meals for your group. There was also lots of information in the château guide about other tailored services that were available such as wine tours. Claire and Phil made sure that everything was perfect for our stay and recommended places to visit.
We have had an excellent week enjoying the peace and quiet of your very beautiful gîte and the tourist sites of the Dordogne and Lot. We hope to visit you again in the future.

We very much enjoyed our stay with Anna and Michael. The house is conveniently situated in a small hamlet, close to the beautiful town of Monflanquin. Our kids loved the pool and the variety of toys to play with. We absolutely recommend this accommodation.

We had a lovely lazy two weeks by the pool! With the hot weather the air conditioning was very welcoming at night time. We have used Pure France several times over the last 6 years and this villa has definitely been the best equipped and most accurately described. 5 / 5.
Like the previous tenants, we appreciated the calm, the swimming pool, the breakfast on the terrace with the pretty view of the vineyards and the scrubland, the sunsets so different every day. We were particularly appreciative of the very nice amenities for this quiet house for getting together with family. The swimming pool is very large and with a breathtaking view of nature and the vineyards. The region is very beautiful and the surroundings are worth it. We had a very good holiday and Marie who welcomes you is very pleasant. Christiane, the owner, takes great care to ensure that your stay goes as smoothly as possible. The equipment in the house, whether furniture or kitchen area, is top notch.
Les Fumerates is a stylish and comfortable home-away-from-home in the South of France. It's a great base from which to explore the delightful village of Saint Paul De Vence, but most of your stay here should be spent unwinding by the villa's fabulous (and heated!) swimming pool with a good book and soaking up the panoramic views. Highly recommended for a quiet and relaxing trip with your nearest and dearest.
Wow, what a totally wonderful stay! The house has everything you could ever need. It is secluded and quiet , yet so close to everywhere. We even had a dip in the pool!!! We had a lovely walk around Beynac and had a delicious lunch there at Hotel Du Chateau. The local wine shop kept us well supplied-we had lots of the incredible cheese. Thank you so much for everything, we really hope to come back soon!

I just wanted to say what a great time we had on our recent visit to Maison Des Communes, Philippe and Federica were wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. The house in a tranquil location was perfect for a very relaxing get away from it all.
We, two couples, stayed the last week of June and the first week of July in La Picholine. We found modern comfort in an authentic environment in the well-equipped holiday homes Maison Carrée and Joie de Vivre. You can rightly say that you enjoy life here. Privacy, beauty, friendliness, a lovely swimming pool, the beautifully maintained gardens... it all comes to you here. And what we also appreciated very much: we arrived in a house where the basic necessities were present (such as coffee, tea, herbs and olive oil) and a nice bottle of wine and delicious (home-made!) cake were ready for us, which made us feel really welcome. Moreover, the area is also very attractive. From the tranquility of the domaine you drive to the liveliness and versatility of Avignon and Villeneuve and for example to Orange. The markets are very charming in the smaller towns nearby and there is also no shortage of nice restaurants. We really had a wonderful time, certainly also because of the friendliness of the owners.

We stayed at Maison Rohmer for a week at the beginning of September 2017. The house was delightful and the pool area very beautiful. We had a brilliant week with fantastic weather. We loved the village of Gordes so magical and magnificent. Market day on Tuesdays is a must. There is so much to see and do though I must admit we did a lot of lazy days by the pool. Things I would recommend a visit to Domaine De La Citadelle vineyard, beautiful wines and a very informative talk on how they produce. We also had a fabulous canoe trip with canoe evasion at Fontaine-de- Vaucluse. It's a must. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day.
