Very lovely and welcoming residence. A haven of peace. The hosts are very available and very friendly. I highly recommend this calm and bucolic place.
The property Mas des Rivailles is a super place in a great part of France. One of the best swimming pools we have experienced and the family used it all day every day during our stay. The house is really comfortable with lots of areas where the family could spread out to do some work or just have time on their own. Having three formal eating areas meant we could mix it up where we had lunch and dinner. There are great countryside views from all of the windows and the house is in a very peaceful and serene setting. I must commend Frederic, the local property manager. He was there to greet us when we arrived and lead us through the property and all of the bits and pieces and local knowledge which made the experience so great. He is very solution focussed and solved minor issues in a no nonsense, relaxed and timely fashion. Many thanks for all.
Converted farmhouse near Gordes. Beautiful property both inside and out, lounging by the pool listening to the birds and looking at the treetops gently swaying in the breeze is a little slice of heaven.
I loved being here for two weeks and being able to use the pool nearly everyday! I haven’t swum recently so it was a great chance to practice. I enjoyed spending time with you and my family in the sun. I hope I can see you soon.
Beautiful location with magnificent views with vines and sunflowers. Charming host. Perfect for running and walking. Good clean pool with covered area alongside so ideal for being in the shade. House very comfortable with all amenities including air con throughout.
Unusually for a rental, both the house and cottage are exceptionally stylishly decorated. Elegant yet tranquil, each space has a different but harmonious feel. It has all the comforts you could possibly want, including a well stocked kitchen, recently re-done and so thoughtfully laid out, it is a joy to cook in. The garden has been planted so prettily, as you look out beyond the sweeping beds of fragrant lavender, to the gently rolling fields beyond. The Persian garden is just ravishing, certainly unique and the water features most pleasing. The infinity pool is generously sized for those who enjoy their lengths, the water temperature just right. The property itself is tucked away at the end of a tiny, yet enchanting and very peaceful hamlet. It is in a corner of France which is heaven for foodies, spoilt for choice with plenty of markets, lovely produce and an excellent offering of local restaurants.
Wow, wow and wow! The views are wonderful with the gorgeous sunsets. The whole family have loved all the facilities, particularly swimming in the multi-coloured lights at night.
We've had an excellent time in this beautiful villa. Sunbathing by the pool, swimming and rock climbing (just some of the things we've done). We hope to be back next year.
Very beautiful villa, tastefully renovated. We spent 3 very pleasant days there as a family. The big plus is having a shower room and WC for each bedroom. Ideal location to relax and walk along the Canal du Midi. We will gladly come back.
I had very high expectations for this accommodation, based on the photos and descriptions. But the castle was even more incredible than we dared to imagine. We were four families, 15 in total, on a graduation trip across Europe. It's the only place we could all be together and our days there were the highlight of our trip. This place is PERFECT for large gatherings. So much room, so many places where we could all be together. Amazing food. The pool was awesome. I can't say enough how perfect it was for our group.

Wonderful villa, beautiful pool and perfect location! We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at Les Fumerates. We had a lovely warm welcome from Michael and Denise and the attention to detail in the property was faultless with soap, shower gels, coffee pods and more provided, made even better with comfy beds, air conditioning and immaculate presentation. We loved the character of the property and it's suberb layout. The fantastic infinity pool lent itself to some lovely memories sitting on the terrace for a meal or drink and then dipping into the gorgeous water and looking out at the amazing views. We also had fun on the slide and diving board and relaxation floating on the comfy pool loungers. Les Fumerates is ideally placed to visit places such as Nice, taking the bus from the end of the road worked perfectly as well as being only 15 minutes drive from the airport! We also visited Monaco, Antibes, Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud but one of the highlights was the short walk to the magical village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence for a drink and a meal. We have enjoyed one of our best holidays yet and will definitely be back!

A fantastic stay in a beautiful villa! Whilst parts of France may lay dormant, this region has tons of activities to offer Canoeing, walking tours of picturesque Pezanas, renting bikes at Lac du Saligou and if you're slightly odd a cracking gym 'area gym' just down the road.

The kids said the pool is amazing and really loved the salt water which didn't make there eyes sting like normal chlorinated pools. Oscar your adorable dog was also a big plus for Lara!
Best villa we have stayed in during 10 years of staying in France for holidays. Extremely well-equipped, great setting and fantastic views.
Lovely, charming and authentic house in Lusignac. The house is as described with great facilities for our summer holiday. We were 8 adults with 2 infants ( 2 yrs and 18months) and the house accommodated us all really well.
Happiest of memories. It is seldom that reality exceeds expectation. I needed to find somewhere that would cater for the needs of everyone from one year olds to sixty year olds and most decades in between. The house was just outstanding! The facilities were perfect for those who wanted to swim and play, for those who wanted to sunbathe and for those who wanted to explore the extraordinary cultural heritage of the region. The last two weeks have been idyllic and sunflowers will always now bring back the happiest of memories to all of us. I would unhesitatingly recommend this property to anyone.

Lovely house in nice authentic village. We really enjoyed staying in this house in Nissan. We especially loved the pool area and the terrace where we spent most of our time when we weren't out exploring the area. It's in a perfect location within a few minutes' walk from the town square with bars and a couple of pizza restaurants. There is a market 3 times a week, which we also really enjoyed. Paul who met us on arrival and was available throughout our stay for any questions is a really nice guy who speaks good English. It's within easy driving distance of Narbonne, Montpellier and Béziers and about 20 minutes from the beach. You can tell that this is a well-loved house by friendly owners Terry and Carol and we would recommend this house to anyone seeking an authentic French experience in comfortable surroundings.

We have been renting in France for 5 years now and this is the best villa we have stayed in. Attention to detail throughout and a lovely garden and pool area which the children loved. The local village is so picturesque with fabulous restaurants.
Our holiday at La Charmante Distillerie was absolutely superb! Mark and Gary were superb hosts and made our experience incredible from the moment we booked until the moment we left! We will definitely return for another holiday, because it was by far the best place we have ever stayed. The attention to detail was brilliant, and we were made so comfortable from start to finish. They have put so much effort into making this an incredible holiday villa and they couldn’t do enough for us. It is 5 star+ in every respect. We spent a truly magical and wonderfully memorably week at Maison Tilleul last summer. It was everything we dreamed of. Stunning grounds, modern facilities, beautiful décor and every amenity you could need. The village is peaceful and picturesque. The countryside was quintessentially French. The historic and geographical wonders that provide endless options for afternoon drives or day trips, were all worth every minute driving through the vineyards and mountain passes that the region offers in abundance. There are wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance and short drives. We had a spectacular evening watching the sun set with a cocktail at Côté Resto set amongst the vines of Domaine Gayda, followed by exquisite cuisine and a buoyant atmosphere. We sampled traditional Blanquette at the atmospheric Abbaye Saint-Hilaire. Explored the impressive Gorges de Saint-Georges and mountain villages. The Cathar castles and ancient city of Minerve, were stunning and like nothing I’ve seen before, both in scale and the history associated with them. I have visited the Languedoc for years, but Le Parc made it a year like no other. Thank you for the privilege – memories have been made and will be treasured.
As per other reviews the house was great with stunning views. All the things you need to have a great holiday. The weather was still hot with some days in the mid 30s, so we took advantage of the swimming pool and relaxed around the house. The house is a great location for cycling, there is the obvious challenge of Mount Ventoux and there are some excellent roads in the surrounding area with stunning scenery. For those interested in wine then I would highly recommend Paul from Rhône wine tours. He came to the house and we did wine tasting with him and we learnt about wines of the Rhône valley, while the kids played in the pool. Great if you don't want to take a tour with kids at the winery.

Everything was perfect: immaculate accommodation, spotlessly clean, a peaceful setting and a warm atmosphere that reflects your kindness and generosity. Your thoughtfulness, your availability and all your little touches helped make this holiday truly unforgettable.
