Absolutely stunning, luxury converted distillery in the countryside of Challignac. Extremely high end furnishings and appliances. Beautiful interior design, all air conditioned and with an amazing outdoor heated pool with spacious patio, cushioned loungers, sofas and outside dining together with BBQ, Boules court and children’s play area all surrounded by beautiful gardens, and stunning tranquil countryside. It was beautiful to sit out with a morning coffee, watching deer walk through the field at the front. The beds were the most comfortable we’d ever slept in, the showers were fantastic, everything is top notch. Gary and Mark made our week extra special with fabulous recommendations of places to visit and excellent restaurants all nearby. They responded instantly to any request we had, but were totally respectful of our privacy unless we contacted them. We cannot recommend staying here enough and are booking for next year.
Thank you for a much needed relaxing couple of week. We very much appreciated your kind consideration for our comfort. This has been our first escape from London for three years and it certainly did not disappoint. The high temperatures slightly constrained our ambitions, but Camirout is a holiday in its own right! It's been a pleasure to meet you and we congratulate you on making that leap into a new life here in France. It's an inspirational story! We wish you both every success for the future. Although I have not been asked to provide any feedback I would like to send some comments for future visitors: This house is superb, it is comfortable, clean, beautifully furnished, extremely well appointed and very spacious; Sandie has ensured that visitors want for nothing - from plates to books - and everything in between. It is also quiet, secluded and safe. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable, the bedding luxurious and beautifully laundered. The terrace has the most fantastic views of the Pyrenees and several places to sit for eating / drinking / chatting etc. There is enough space for 12 people to holiday for a week and not feel on top of one another. Whilst there is loads to do in the area it is also impossible to summon up the motivation to leave as there are plenty of activities on offer at the house and of course a great pool. I cannot find anything negative to say about Domaine de Nérige at all, we had the most fabulous relaxing week here with a group of friends and we will return.
We have recently returned from our wonderful trip to Dordogne which we thoroughly enjoyed. Sia and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Maison Montratier was a beautiful place to stay when visiting this wonderful part of the world. We would highly recommend this home and area to our family and friends.
Wonderful time here in Sarlat. This house is perfect for seeing the area. Lots of great things to do within easy distance. The house is in a beautiful location and with the high temperatures this week the pool has been a godsend. Everything in the house is geared for visitors and it's really well equipped. This is my first time in the Dordogne and it's absolutely beautiful. I will certainly come back soon. Thank you Jackie and Geoff for a wonderful holiday.

Thank you again for the wonderful time in this very nice location. Although it was our 2nd time here, there was and is still much to explore in Occitanie! One of the favourites was the canoe trip on the Orb river (canoe-tarassac.com). We can clearly recommend it to all future visitors of this holiday house. Not to forget the beaches nearby, Château Négly if you want to taste and purchase local wine, and last but not least the swimming pool.
The house is perfect for holidays with friends! Everything is well equipped and the people who manage the place are very nice and responsive. The bedding is also comfortable. Thank you very much!
We've rented a lot of other villa, châteaux and domaines, but this one was the best! The six ensuite bedrooms were all the same size and had the same amenities so none of the six couples had a less than optimal room as we've experienced in other rentals. The two on-site staff were wonderful and spoke perfect English (they're Irish so not a surprise). The location in Burgundy was perfect for day trips. If you book this rental, you'll be delighted!

We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight. The listing and reviews stated the house was comfy and well equipped, well I can totally vouch for that. We wanted for nothing. Beds are very comfy, the outdoor area is outstanding. Everything you could want is to hand. One, if not the best pool we've ever used and Martyn keeps it spotless everyday. The owners are on hand if needed or not. The village is excellent, a short walk with a restaurant. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

I just want to send you a quick message to say what a lovely holiday we are having in your charming house. It looked fabulous from the photos but in fact, on arrival it really surpassed our expectations. We really appreciate the beautiful environment and also the rare fact that it was very well stocked with all those things one normally needs to rush to the supermarket to buy: loo paper, soap, dishwasher tablets and the like. I just wanted to let you know what a lovely place this is and to say thank you.
We have all had an amazing 3 weeks stay in your beautiful house. Our grand children have all learned to swim in the pool and we have all enjoyed our days out in this lovely part of France. We can't thank you enough for giving us everything we could wish for in a holiday home - you have thought of every home comfort. We will be recommending this as the best place to stay for all.
So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We are off on an amazing two weeks in Le Malardier, a house full of character and so spacious. Thank you Gay and Richard. Our American friends explored the area but we Brits who do not see the sun as much as them were more than happy to lounge around the pool. There was everything you could want in the house and the children were delighted with the toys in the attic! This is a beautiful part of France, the views are spectacular. We found some great restaurants and enjoyed the local culture. Au Revoir.
We have had a wonderful relaxed and fun week here at Le Manoir de Duras. It has felt like a home from home. All the practical equipment to making things smooth and lots of games and books to enjoy as the days go by. Thank you to the owners for a lovely family week. A real holiday.

It felt like we had always known you (perhaps because we’re all Northerners!). The Italian restaurant in the village is great to be able to walk to. A few degrees below 38 would have been preferable, but out of your control! Good luck with the house.
Wonderful time in a wonderful house. So peaceful here. The house had everything we could possibly want and more besides (including a visiting woodpecker). Laparade night market was a highlight. The restaurant there is pretty fabulous too. We spent loong days by the pool and long evenings on the terrace. Frédérique and Hélène at the shop provided all we needed including homemade lasagne. And Olivia couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you, Mark and Janet.

An absolutely fabulous villa, decorated and furnished inside and out to an exceptional standard. Perfect location with an amazing pool and relaxation area. Very efficient air conditioning. The advertising for this villa does not do it justice. Facilities like this are hard to find in a holiday rental.
We stayed Le Mas Feuille with its two double bedrooms (which were huge) and two twins all with beautiful bathrooms. The husbands had wanted to 'walk' to the local shops in the morning and stumble home from the local bars in the evening. In hind sight, neither were a problem, the area was stunning and we had the upmost peace. I can not explain, the shear size of the place and the decor is stunning. We would love to return again one day.
We felt truly privileged to have the opportunity to share our special family reunion together at your stunning home. Straight out of an interior design magazine! The countryside, local villages, food and wine were amazing. Can't wait to come back. Merci.
We had a brilliant stay here. Really enjoyed the pool when it was warm, the BBQ most evenings and exploring the town. Loved exploring the nearby towns too. Kayaking was a big highlight. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Thank you for our brilliant stay in your beautiful home. As well as the house the garden is also stunning. We have enjoyed many days in the lovely pool and have also really enjoyed exploring the beautiful surroundings, including Saumur. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again.
This is our third visit to Villa Kali and we enjoyed it very much as before. We managed to visit L'Hacienda near Bessan and had a most enjoyable evening. Diane is very helpful with any specific dietary requests and it was a bonus that she spoke English. Very happy to say its a 5 from us again. Many thanks.
The house is beautiful - amazing views, wonderful pool, very comfortable beds. We had a fantastic time - didn't see as much of the area as planned - as everyone so happy playing in pool!
