We had a fabulous holiday at La Distillerie - the most beautiful gite we have stayed in, and a perfect setting in which to enjoy the French countryside. The property is beautifully decorated throughout, immaculately clean and well equipped with everything you may need. Mark and Gary are amazing hosts and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived, thanks to their friendly welcome and warm hospitality throughout our stay. We were looking for a peaceful and relaxing break, and La Distillerie suited us perfectly. The pool, patio and garden areas are wonderful, with fantastic views across the open countryside. There are also lovely villages to visit within an easy driving distance. A big thank you to Mark and Gary for making our first visit so special, and we look forward to returning!
Everything you could ask for - a beautiful home, total privacy, idyllic! When we finally ventured out of our cocoon, we wandered around the stunning countryside of the Corbières. So many places to see and so much wine to taste. We loved all of it.

Unique in its kind: Le Mas Pouget has preserved its history (stones, layout) and offers a modern layout and an original, sophisticated decoration, while being soft and soothing... We stayed with 4 couples of friends and enjoyed each with plenty of privacy and space. The rooms are very large, bright, the bedding is of very good quality. The welcome is perfect, we were seduced by the attention of the owner (unheard of despite our numerous rental stays)! Finally, the region is magnificent and offers plenty of activities. If we had to look for a negative point?.... We didn't find it. We will come back, for sure.
We felt very comfortable here in this house with the beautiful garden and pool. Peacefulness, rest and relaxation - What more would you want? We particularly appreciated how attentive and helpful people were in Bessan and Agde as we needed help for our little Leah. We have greatly enjoyed our time, recovered and will definitely come back. Such an amazing home in a lovely part of France. We had such a great stay. The house has everything you can think of in terms of comfort and cooking. We even had a raclette whilst we were there as there was a raclette machine! Sandie was a brilliant host and always there to help us, even at Christmas time. We couldn’t think of a better place for a family reunion. Lots of space indoors and also lots of outdoor space with many games, they all came in handy as we had to self isolate for 2 days upon arriving in France due to the latest rules. Even with small children who like to run around, we had plenty of space to have fun and play games! Couldn't recommend the place more.
My husband and I with 2 children ( 10 and 12 yrs) stayed in Le Borghesia for one week and it was absolutely bliss. The house is cool and a lovely temperature to return to from the sun, well equipped with dishwasher, large fridge freezer, washing machine and drier. Large confortable sofas and a smart TV ensured the kids were super happy after lazy days by the pool, bike rides or canoeing on the Dordogne. All within a short bike ride away. It is a very private spot, with no traffic or noise apart from the birds and of course when Victoire lovely dogs came to say hello. Its a huge house and huge pool, so can easily accomadate 8 people with plenty of luxury sun loungers, chairs, parasols and even a lovely french barn beside the pool.. I must mention the pool again because it is beautiful !!!
The Loire! What an overwhelming heritage. Châteaux, abbeys, caves - and Michel's house is central to all of it. Bourgueil is a charming town with delicious foods and outstanding wines. Every night we enjoyed the pool. Thank you Michel for an exceptional week.
We have had a wonderful week in this beautiful house in this stunning location. The sunflowers fields are just gorgeous and we will forever have fond memories of Gascony and the sunflowers. A beautiful house and perfect for our four generation family holiday. The children loved the pool and the huge range of toys. They spent most of their time in the pool and playing with the garden toys. Beautiful rooms and everything we could possibly need provided. We enjoyed a family walk around the lake followed by an excellent lunch at the restaurant in the museum. Days out to Revel, Castres, Carcassonne and other local villages.
I just wanted to drop you an email to say how much we are enjoying our stay. The house is delightful, the pool gorgeous and the pretty gardens are totally secure for our dog who is currently snoozing under the old olive tree! Philippe is charming and totally respectful of our need for privacy. The house has exceeded our expectations and you fulfilled our brief perfectly. We are actually considering 2 weeks here again next year.
Many thanks for a great family holiday in a wonderful setting. La Ferme Éclaircie is great and proved perfect for our family. We especially enjoyed cooling off in the fantastic pool. The area and scenery are great also and we recommend the prune festival in Agen! We would love to come back.
Beautiful house in a great location. The house is spacious and has everything you would need and more. Very quiet and peaceful and the location was perfect, halfway between Montignac and the prehistoric sites and Sarlat and the Dordogne river. Florence the concierge was very helpful and responded quickly when needed. I highly recommend.
What an incredible home base! We felt so fortunate to return here every day after days spent exploring the beautiful towns of Lot and the Dordogne. We wondered whether we might find Castelnau-Montratier to be a little too quiet, but were always grateful for the respite. The house and its quiet luxury hiding behind the unassuming little gate was a constant surprise to us and we loved every minute. Many thanks to Barbara for quickly responding to our every query. We are already wondering when we'll return! P.S. Viking chess is our new favourite game!
My stay in this charming artist's house was really pleasant, particularly thanks to the calm setting that surrounded it. The owner Olivia was very attentive and friendly, which made my stay even more pleasant. The breakfasts and swims in the pool were delicious. I left with beautiful memories and fully refreshed. I recommend this experience to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic stay.

Lovely villa, boys enjoyed the pool and the garden! Had great trips to Montpellier and Carcassonne. Visit Pézenas on a Wednesday evening and visit all of the artisans stores! For beaches the long stretch between Sète and Agde is very quiet.
Just a note to say how much we enjoyed staying in Villa Pey de la Salle and it had everything we needed, including a lovely view!
Magnificent house in the middle of the fields, tastefully decorated. Fully equipped outdoor kitchen. Nothing is missing. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the deckchairs as well as the surroundings (medieval city of Chauvigny, Futuroscope).
What a privilege to spend a week in this beautiful environment. The facilities have been fantastic, we’ve enjoyed being active or lazy. It is a lovely area, views in the day - perfect, skies full of stars at night. Thank you for a perfect holiday.
Seven days of swimming, rounders, running, races, hide and seek and much more have delivered a break to remember, especially for the kids! And that, of course, makes a holiday for the adults. P.S. We saw a deer!
An incredibly magical week in this very special home. With such a large (chaotic!) group it was wonderful to have so much space that the energetic children had so much to keep them busy and even allowed the adults to feel like they had R and R! Very much hoping to be able to come back and explore more as we enjoyed it immensely!
We had a very happy stay in your villa. We visited le jardin Saint Adrien which was beautiful but did not stay for the horses and the music. The villa really was perfect and thank you for allowing us to use it.
Had a lovely restful week here. Kids spent 90% of their day in the pool! A few trips out, one to Olonzac market and the beach, but best days spent at the villa. Stunning views and so peaceful. Enjoying cooking diner and the kitchen has everything you need. Off North in the camper van tomorrow to continue our holiday but will miss the luxury of the villa.
We would like to very highly recommend this grand idillic property in the tranquil rural setting of the Lot Valley. The quietness and peacefulness of the house and grounds is the perfect place to completely unwind, to read, draw, play boules, table tennis or relax with the family by the poolside area. The market town of Villeréal was particularly vibrant and trips into the Dordogne to Beynac for example is only an hour away. There is an abundance of local wines and vineyards to visit with exquisite cheeses and bread from the local markets. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We have returned totally refreshed and relaxed!
