Wonderful house for 7 people. The rooms were very spacious, as was the outside space. Excellent for families I would say. A very warm welcome by the host and pool was attended to throughout. Many thanks to Victoire and Gaby.

Villa Funel was spotless, the kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable and the whole place was light and airy. The DVD player and the large supply of films was great for late viewing. The pool area and garden were a delight. We had a lovely relaxing time. We will certainly return.

What a gorgeous place! You have made a beautiful job of the Loft du Vigneron. It is homely, classy and welcoming, and you have thought of everything! We have enjoyed every moment of our holiday here. We wanted to get away from our busy lives in London…and we did! Lounging by the pool or in hammocks, followed by evenings with delicious BBQs. Pézenas is a sweet little town with great places to eat and shop. Visit the market on Saturday for an explosion of the senses! We can't wait wait to return next summer.
A fabulous 2 week holiday for the whole family, ages from 11 weeks to 70 years!! A superb house + grounds and a very special thanks to Lynda for her generosity + helping us on our last weekend.

Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing two weeks. We have loved getting to know this part of France (and it’s wine!), playing boules in the garden and watching all the birds. We particularly enjoyed the Grand Cafe Occitane and the beaches at Leucate. Your attention to detail and the warm welcome made us feel immediately at home and we really appreciated the pool being kept so clean.

It’s such a gorgeous spot, the weather has been perfect and we love the fact that the house feels like a much loved family home so thank you for sharing it with us. It is so well equipped and comfortable, with a lovely ambience - we are greatly enjoying relaxing and eating meals in all the different beautiful spots in the garden. We are back again! Thank you so much Jackie and Geoff, we had the most fantastic stay again. The house was beautiful and the pool was perfect. We spent 99% of the time outside. Drinks at Le Pub and dinner at plenty of new restaurants! No car needed. Thank you!
House was spotlessly clean as was all bedding. Absolutely first class. You have thought of everything that a family with young children could possibly need and want for. Catering very good - delicious. You were so helpful with all of our queries and went above and beyond to help.

Not enough superlatives. An amazing time with all the family — 18 of us ranging from 72 to 8 months.
Fantastic stay - group of 10 adults and 10 children. Great set up to keep both groups well entertained and some additional surprises like a play area next to one of the outside eating areas. Sports hall and pool both huge, the later keeping us cool in the hot afternoons. The owners also helped us arrange a local cook to cater on some evenings and also a local wine producer to do a wine tasting.
Every corner of the house is full of detail and charm. All other houses will pall in comparison now! We would love to return.

Our family of 10 stayed here for a week and we loved every minute. The attention to detail in the chateau was wonderful. Everything we could have needed was provided. Philippe and Frederique were the most wonderful hosts. We highly recommend Chateau de Marquisat!
A magnificent place for the family with everything to share great moments and enjoy privacy... The property has many different areas which will satisfy everybody. Guaranteed serenity in the heart of the Basque countryside.
We had a superb 11 day stay in Fitou. Everything was as expected when we arrived - the property has everything you would expect and more when travelling with young children - in our case a 10 month old as well as 2½ year old twins. The car beds were a huge hit with the twins! The village of Fitou is also really nice - there are over 10 wines caves selling high quality local Fitou. There are also some excellent restaurants - would recommend Vidals if you are taking the kids. Outside of Fitou, Perpignan, Narbonne and Carcassonne are all realistic day trip options and the resort of Leucate is also good for a more traditional seaside ambience.
We had a wonderful week. A lovely cottage set in a beautiful garden surrounded by picturesque countryside. We would highly recommend Mas Saint-Martial to families looking for a cosy base with a lovely pool and plenty of facilities to entertain the whole family.
We have been lucky enough to stay at Château Trieux a number of times and what a truly magical place it is! From the moment you approach the house, through fields of sunflowers, you feel transported into your dream holiday. Whatever your thing is - be it relaxing by the pool, playing tennis or just sitting by the river under the shade of the trees contemplating life - Château Trieux has it all. A visit to the market at Monflanquin is a must or enjoy a relaxing kayak along the river. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We will be back!
