The house is pleasant and the host is welcoming. There is space for a large group. It is easy to park in front of the house and there is also an option to park in the garden. Well located, you can buy bread on the houseboat across the bridge and the bookstore is a must!
Just to let you know we all enjoyed our trip to Cagnes-sur-Mer and it was a beautiful property. Would love to go back some time.
We just wanted to let you know everything is great here and we are all having a wonderful time. What a fabulous house with so much character! It is working perfectly for us; we absolutely love it. We can't get over how well set up it is. And we are having so much fun in the pool. This is the perfect place for us! We had a wonderful time at Villa Estephe. As we mentioned while there, this is about our sixth visit to the area so we were very well acquainted with its beauty. As you know, the weather was fantastic, even a little too hot in the second week, so shade from the trees and air conditioning were both very welcome. The accommodation is excellent and very comfortable. If we visit the area again, we will certainly be considering your property. Thank you for our stay.
As regular visitors we choose this area for over 30 years. This is without doubt the loveliest property we we ever had. The location and settings are glorious. We loved to sat in every places of the garden and at different times of the day. Loved the relaxing and beautiful pool area enjoyed the tasteful but functional rooms and cooked every night in this well appointed kitchen. All the small touches and details show great level of consideration from the owners. Thank you so much Frederick has been welcoming and helpful it was lovely to come back and we hope to return at least once next year.
We had a wonderful holiday, thank you! It is such a beautiful part of France. We realised we had stayed in a house just the other side of Lauzerte about 7 years ago in the days before children and we could drive around in a soft top! The house has been so nicely done and the arrangement worked really well for us as a family. The view was out of this world! And we loved having the auberge round the corner. We may well be back!
What a fantastic holiday we have had! Every aspect has been superb. We both agree (and that's unusual!) that this is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail is superb and your warmth and hospitality has been much appreciated. We shall look forward to a return visit.

What a wonderful break away!! Mark and Gary have created a perfect haven…the attention to detail both internally and externally is amazing. Beautiful decor and art in the gite and a stunning pool area surrounded by nature and birdsong- it’s so restorative and peaceful. From the minute you arrive you feel looked after with the luxurious welcome hamper, cocktail on arrival and local artisan soaps and moisturisers throughout the gite. Would highly recommend and will be back!
Absolutely stunning, luxury converted distillery in the countryside of Challignac. Extremely high end furnishings and appliances. Beautiful interior design, all air conditioned and with an amazing outdoor heated pool with spacious patio, cushioned loungers, sofas and outside dining together with BBQ, Boules court and children’s play area all surrounded by beautiful gardens, and stunning tranquil countryside. It was beautiful to sit out with a morning coffee, watching deer walk through the field at the front. The beds were the most comfortable we’d ever slept in, the showers were fantastic, everything is top notch. Gary and Mark made our week extra special with fabulous recommendations of places to visit and excellent restaurants all nearby. They responded instantly to any request we had, but were totally respectful of our privacy unless we contacted them. We cannot recommend staying here enough and are booking for next year.

Having rented holiday homes in France for many years I am sure that the welcome from Philippe was the warmest we have ever had. His kindness and generosity in providing a wonderful welcome pack comprising cheeses, bread, fruit, wine and a tart made our arrival very pleasant. The house is beautifully appointed and every need seemed to have been considered. The layout of the three buildings is particularly suited to large families with two large ensuite bedrooms in one block, a compact double in the pool house and a magnificent master suite in the main house. The facilities are exceptional, with a comprehensively equipped kitchen, air conditioning in the key areas, a great variety of outdoor seating (very comfortable) in sun and shade, a fantastic outdoor kitchen with barbecue and a superb swimming pool, all set in beautiful gardens. Philippe kindly brought croissants or pastries on the (very early) mornings he would silently clean the pool and another large selection of local goodies when changing the sheets after a week. The location is quiet and peaceful yet there are lots of interesting places to visit within a short drive. Béziers and the villages along the Canal du Midi provide lots to do and the coast is only 20 minutes away. This is an exceptional property which feels like a home rather than a rental and you could not fail to enjoy a holiday here.
The house and the grounds are fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area. The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc comfortable. The kids loved the swings etc and the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. The food was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful home. The kitchen and living area was so spacious and comfortable and the outside space was equally ideal. The pool was delightful and spacious allowing the six of us to enjoy it at the same time. The kitchen had everything we could ask for - literally home from home. The only regret about this holiday was having only one week there as it wasn’t long enough! We most definitely would return.
Beautiful house - everything you could possibly need for a totally carefree and relaxing holiday. We loved it so much here we only ventured away from the property for 2 half days. We would like to thank you for the wonderful holiday we enjoyed again last year in Navacelles. This house is a heaven on earth. We stayed here twice over the last 3 years (not 3 times only because we were too late to book). Very quiet, wonderful views and still close enough to restaurants and shops. Everything the website promised us was there. The house is superbly decorated and has a wonderful garden and pool. The kids (and the parents) had their highlight of the year again. We won't tell anyone how nice this place is:-). We ll be back soon...

We have all very much enjoyed our stay at Les Averries. The cottage is beautiful, charming and comfortable in all ways. The gardens, magnificent. The hosts, most gracious. We also enjoyed the pool. The lovely village, a short walk or bicycle ride away, has all that one might need. This is a perfect place for unhurried days and visits to the many nearby attractions, there is much to see and do for all ages. Young and old enjoyed the magnificent château. We do so hope to return.
Wow! what a start to the summer. Very hot, lovely weather, plums aplenty (from garden trees), walks to Eglise de Senezelles, daily visits to the bakery in Cancon, fab Monday markets, much swimming, pool/snooker, BBQs, card games, a very dramatic thunder storm and 18 wonderful books (from the Bosc Grand shelves) read collectively. The stuff of family holiday dreams. We hope to be back!
Had a great 2 weeks. All enjoyed Pézenas and surrounds. Visited Montpellier, Sète, Nîmes. Lovely holiday.
