Fabulous stay at Les Fumerates. Pool is 'top of the line'. Quiet villa high on a hillside. A few minutes walk from Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Everything is exactly as described. Highly recommended.
We had a great time. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a remote getaway.
The space, the history and beauty of the surroundings. The swimming pool. The range of children's toys. The bedroom arrangements in the house that was perfect for 4 families. Maps and leaflets of things to do in the locality. The fans in rooms upstairs etc etc. In all we are sad to leave!
We had a wonderful time in Les Granels thanks and would recommend the house to anyone, particularly families with children. Special thanks to Karri for helpful advice and excellent cleaning.

We enjoyed it so much, with trips towards Narbonne, the Canal du Midi, Pézenas, Gruissan for the stage 16 of the Tour de France, as well as lots of time in the fantastic pool! you wer a great host, showing us your new wine cellar (I didn't drink all the wine!) and telling us your plans to make the house even better. Our stay here was the highlight of our recent trip to the South of France. From the minute we drove through the gates we were impressed by the beautiful gardens, house and pool. It is truly a magnificent French retreat and estate. I couldn't recommend the house more highly and I am already planning another trip there soon.

We were a large family group and we had a great stay in this beautiful house combining the charm of original features and modern comfort. The kitchen is beautiful and very well equipped. What a superb and huge outdoor terrace where to spend great times with family or friends. Beautiful well maintained swimming pool in a superb garden with the bonus of the pétanque court. Very nice view of the castle of Margon. Hélène is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Everything is as described. You would not need more for a holiday. We recommend the property in total confidence.
Just a quick note to say WOW - we are blown away by your house! It is amazing, we have travelled to France every year for about 10 years but already we know that this will be the best yet! Nothing has disappointed, just thrilled- we are keen cooks (eaters really) and your kitchen is perfect. Off to have a quick wander around the village before returning to cook our traditional first night supper of scallops and fresh prawns. We spent three weeks and greatly enjoyed our time at Maison Charvin. The villa itself is spacious and very well presented. Loads of storage particularly in the kitchen, which has a big fridge freezer and ample cupboard space. The kitchen and house in general, is exceptionally well equipped – in fact better than any that we have stayed in during our 10+ years holidaying in France. All of the bedrooms are large, light and airy and all are ensuite. We were travelling with teenagers and they really appreciated the extra space in the bedrooms to give them a bit of extra privacy / space on their own. There is no WC on the ground floor in the house – however, there is one poolside so this is of little concern. The garden is private and lovely to sit in, with the planting making it an interesting and relaxing space. The pool is not huge, but is good for hanging out and cooling down, particularly in the evenings as it is well lit. There is room for a small car outside the villa, but as ours is a big estate we left it at the bottom of the road about 100m away, convenient and safe. The villa is centrally located in a nice and friendly village. There is a really useful general store within walking distance, but the bakery closed down shortly before we arrived and the bar apparently opens infrequently and is up for sale – presumably these are temporary issues though. There were a number of social events going on in the village, with a market taking place each Tuesday evening where we enjoyed having a wander before sitting with a glass of wine. Carcassonne is close by and there are plenty of places in the area to visit. Our experience was very positive and we certainly feel the villa was excellent value for money. Finally, a word on our host - Sharon is based in a neighbouring village over the summer and was super friendly and helpful, making recommendations for trips out and booking restaurants for us. This was much appreciated and allowed us to make the most of our stay. Overall, we would heartily recommend!
We were a group of nine friends and spent 4 nights at this gorgeous house. I don't know where to start, everything was just perfect: The pool, the view, the furnishing, the comfy beds... it's heaven on earth. Sandie and her husband are very lovely people and amazing hosts. I recommend booking the catering option - the food is great and the chocolate fudge cake is to die for. We will definitely come back.
Exceptional. What an exceptional place. We highly recommend this fantastic rental as the perfect vacation spot to escape the stress of everyday life. It is in a perfect, unique and well placed setting for visitors to enjoy the delights of the Dordogne countryside.

We had a really nice holiday at Château Entre-Deux-Mers... it's an amazing place and everything was just fine.
The villa was amazing and had everyone we wanted in it. Charlotte was amazing and we especially loved the pool/decking area. Hopefully we'll be back soon!
Stunning - amazing space in and out with many places for children and adults to hide! Great, from well equipped kitchen to playroom. Childproofed but still lots of fun toys for dry and wet days. Great showers and all working brilliantly. Had a fantastic week - Very relaxed and love the set up here. Thank you all.
Spending time in this lovely serene hamlet is heaven, overlooking the most calming landscaped from the house and terraces. The fully equipped kitchen is outfitted for foodies and in a setting with fantastic food markets just 15 minutes in proximity. The gardens surrounding the house are beautiful and have a fabulous pool. The is French countryside brilliance at its best.

Idyllic, total relaxation It was our first time visiting Charente and we absolutely loved La Charmante Distillerie. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. The pool area and terraces had amazing views and so tranquil. The interior was beautifully furnished and we liked the nod to the old distillery and its history. There were plenty of activities for the family and we really enjoyed star gazing with the telescope provided. Mark kept the grounds and pool immaculate. We appreciated access to the herb garden and fruit trees. I would also mention the excellent internet coverage which meant that our teenagers were happy in the den in the loft, and the younger kids loved playing in the sandpit and on the climbing frame. Can’t recommend this place enough!
What a view. A lovely property and we had an amazing family holiday, it's a real home from home. Location is great with lots of areas within easy access. We would definitely book again.

Our stay at La Petite Maison Générille was absolutely wonderful! The property is beautiful, the location is stunning, the hosts were fantastic - so helpful and friendly, made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable Dordogne getaway.
We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. A fabulous setting for our family gathering. Some of us were here for two weeks some for one. We all enjoyed it thoroughly, the swimming pool was so restful, it was great for keeping cool, the children loved it. The outside seating being undercover was great as we ate out every night, we were able to watch an amazing lighting show one evening. The beds were very comfy, fans in the room was a real plus as the nights were hot, lots of bathrooms for a big group was also a plus. Some of us had been here a few years ago and it didn't disappoint, we would love to come back again, we loved your well stocked and very clean home
Amazing place and amazing host Very nice place with a beautiful view. We were greeted very nicely by Danny who was exceptionally nice. We felt at home and hope they felt safe with us as well.
