Just wanted to say what a great three weeks we’ve had at Le Grand Verger. The house is superb… we are looking at a repeat holiday, returning next year Once again, an outstanding holiday in outstanding surroundings, thank you!
Thanks so much for the restaurant recommendations - will look into doing that. We are having a fantastic time here. I think your house is possibly the best house we've stayed in in France over the years. Yes, it's just fabulous! We've had a really fantastic week here and I'm pretty sure we'll be wanting to come back next year. Your house has been so generous... I've read some books here, loved looking through the coffee table books too. Your welcome basket was the most generous we've ever received in any of the houses we have rented. Allowing us to use pool towels as well. And I know it sounds a bit like a hotel review but the bed linen / towels and bathrooms were just top quality! Taking a break from it now to start packing up! P.S. We went to Le Moulin for lunch and it was superb. We will be in touch to hopefully book same week again next year.
Thank you, Sharon, for letting us stay in your gorgeous home “Maison Charvin”! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped. The saltwater swimming pool was a godsend as the temperature has been very high over our 2-week stay. The village and its residents are lovely and friendly. There is a small local market every Thursday evening with cheese, wine, beer and other items for sale. The local bar is lovely. You need to make a booking to eat there - It is called Vin de Dagne and bookings can be made online. The owner is very friendly and speaks excellent English. His cooking is excellent too. We got our daily pastries and baguettes from the local shop a few doors down from the bar/restaurant. There is also a pizza van on a Thursday night when the local bar/restaurant is closed. Sharon very kindly organised a visit to her vet as part of the animal health certificate requirements. We have had a fabulous time and Sharon has been so helpful. Thank you.
We’re sad to be leaving this beautiful place, have had such a relaxing week lying in the beautiful garden, pottering around your thoughtfully equipped house, have loved every minute here - thank you! And thanks to Nathalie and Mike who were so lovely and helpful.
We had a very pleasant stay at the Maison Brassens. This house is very well equipped and very pleasant to live in both inside and outside. Our host David was very friendly and very responsive. We highly recommend this resort.
The house is stunning and the pictures on line do not do it justice, we will be sorry to leave at the end of our stay.

What a wonderful holiday in this lovely home. We were warmly welcomed by Corinne and found everything we could ever want / wish for on a family holiday / parents / grand parents and small children. The weather was as anticipated - hot and temperate at times, incredible thunder storms / blue skies. The pool was a great hit with all and the pool toys, outdoor toys and indoor entertainment ensured all needs were catered for. Finally, a great thank you to Mel for her attention to detail and unfailing helpfulness.
We just wanted to say how impressed we were with the house we rented through Pure France. We have rented a lot of houses both in the UK and overseas and I think this was definitely one of the very best. It was so well equipped - not just in terms of entertainment but all the items in the house (especially in the kitchen) and home comforts and the swimming pool was perfect. We are so glad we found it and we had an excellent week.
Magical, inviting, soothing, AMAZING! The villa was truly magical, while also invoking a sense of home. The community areas are large enough that you never feel crowded and there are several places to "hide" within the property for true soul searching/peace with a magnificent view at every turn. Very well maintained and quaint restaurants/shops just a short walk away, but not too close(you still feel tucked away). HIGHLY recommend!!

We had a wonderful week staying in Maison Charvin, you have created a truly stunning home with everything and more one could wish for. Your kitchen is definitely the best we have seen in the many years we have been holidaying in France. We loved your garden courtyard and the delightful pool was a welcome relief on the days when the temperature soared. We found the people of Montlaur very friendly and enjoyed a great evening of food and music in the village square with the locals (the pizza was delicious). Montlaur is well placed for exploring the Corbières and Cathar countryside. The historic cite of Carcassonne is well worth visiting, as is Lagrasse. We had a great day at Leucate beach under an hour away. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us, it was a pleasure to meet you and your adorable dog.

We particularly the swimming pool to cool down. We really enjoyed the surrounding scenery in which we star gazed in every evening. We really liked the films and games upstairs in the evening. We have had the most fabulous holiday. Villa Montplaisir was perfect - and so well equipped. Wish we were staying for another week. We're going to miss the pool - and the shady table for breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

We had such a fantastic stay at Maison Lanave. We loved the house, pool, location and surrounding area. It was really a special trip. David and Kirstie were so great at making us feel welcome and giving great recommendations for wine tasting, night food markets and local restaurants during our trip. The pool area and outdoor BBQ is fabulous for big groups, BBQs and meals. It exceeded everyone's expectations and the photos really don't do the property justice. We loved it!
Thank you so much for the very warm welcome, all the ‘goodies’ you provided and of course the use of your very well equipped Loft. It felt like we had always known you (perhaps because we’re all Northerners!). The Italian restaurant in the village is great to be able to walk to. A few degrees below 38 would have been preferable, but out of your control! Good luck with the house.

The house itself is old and gently restored, and extremely well equipped with every cooking utensil you could wish for and a very nice coffee machine. Special features are the large swimming pool close to the house, and the tennis court, which is a little higher up, with beautiful rural views. In summer there are night markets in surrounding villages where you can buy all kinds of foods, from omelettes to snails, and eat them outdoors on long trestle tables - a treat for locals and tourists alike. A wonderfully relaxing place to stay, highly recommended.
We have had an amazing two weeks here in this lovely home. We have enjoyed exploring the local area. We loved kayaking and using a pedalo on the River Lot. We have made really good use of the pool and the secret garden. Thank you so much Alan and Madeline for all your kindness and consideration - and especially taking us on that lovely walk. We had a great stay at Maison du Gua over Easter. The weather was a real surprise (I had packed wellies and jumpers) but it was lovely. Sunny and warm enough for us all to enjoy the great swimming pool and lunch outside everyday. There were three generations staying (10 people) and we all had plenty of room to relax. Our three children (1, 3, 6) enjoyed the huge selection of quality toys, both indoors and provided for the garden. The baby loved the baby swing and his mum enjoyed the huge list of baby extras Mel provided, that made packing so much easier. Mel and Jim are very helpful and quick to respond with anything you need. Our thanks to to the lovely Elodie for making our stay so pleasant.

Amazing holiday location! Great views of a peaceful quaint little village in south of France, and don't even need to get out of the pool. Everything you need is provided by the host, excellent quality of service for the price. Great variety of excursions possible in the area, be it sporty, cultural or plain shopping and farniente! Looking forward to coming back again as soon as possible!!!
The pool was amazing and the weather was nice. It was wonderful 5/5 would love to be staying longer. The pool was amazing. The beds are so nice.
We had a lovely two weeks in this beautiful old French farmhouse with its heavenly views and surrounded in wonderful countryside. We have spent most of our time in the garden, playing bolles, swimming, water ball, table tennis and using the pool table, enjoying leisurely meals on the terrace with great views. Trips out to Vaison la Romain, daily trips to the boulangie, wonderful walks, some brilliant bike rides for children and adults alike. We have seen some wonderful wildlife around the area, geckos, cicadas etc. We are sad to leave but hope to return one day.
