We enjoyed a fantastic 2 weeks in this lovely house. The pool was very popular (due to the August heatwave - most days were 30 - 33 degrees). It was nice to be given a guided tour of the property by Yvonne and be welcomed with flowers and wine. The house has so much character - It would be lovely to learn a little more about its history and former occupants. We loved lots of the al fresco dining and one particularly memorable cheese and wine night in the candlelit wine cellar! Île de Ré, La Rochelle, Cognac, Marais poitevin are all we worth visiting. Make sure you take a look at the stars on a clean night - we spotted a few shooting stars!

We had a wonderful holiday, thank you! It is such a beautiful part of France. We realised we had stayed in a house just the other side of Lauzerte about 7 years ago in the days before children and we could drive around in a soft top! The house has been so nicely done and the arrangement worked really well for us as a family. The view was out of this world! And we loved having the auberge round the corner. We may well be back!
It is early spring. My husband and I decide to go to the South of France for a fortnight. Our eye has fallen on La Picholine. It is in the Gard region and close to nice places. Like Uzès, Nîmes, Avignon. What a surprising place on arrival. Two enthusiastic owners, proudly showing off their new domaine. There are two gîtes. A large swimming pool, several terraces and expansive views. Our gîte is very comfortable. Spacious living room with dining kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bedroom is very spacious with good mattresses. Large bathroom with two sinks. As it can be quite chilly in the evening in spring, this cottage has a wood-burning stove with hot air conditioning. It is comfortably warm then. The garden is tastefully decorated. You have your own privacy and that choice is nice. We had a lovely two weeks here and will definitely come back next year. Thank you Esther and Leo for your hospitality.
Very nice castle in a beautiful estate. If the sunny weather is on your side don't hesitate for a second. With friends and family, this place will allow you to relax with peace of mind. Thanks to Gaëlle for her availability and kindness.
The villa has entirely been renovated, very well designed and equipped. It is located in a small village only a few kilometres from Pézenas. Quiet and relaxing area. Excellent stay.

The views are spectacular. Frédéric is a gem, he has been so very friendly and welcoming, always contactable and helpful even in the thunderstorm and following power cut. The family and I had a lovely stay at your house, Les Rocans. Your house, Les Rocans, has obviously been the subject of careful and loving restoration in many parts and it was lovely to stay there. The location is stunning, one could not tire of the views from the hillside. During our stay the weather was blistering hot sun and maximum temperatures around 36-38 degrees C. However, the breeze coming up the hill tempered the heat to make it quite tolerable. The trees you have carefully left near the swimming pool gave really good shade; it was my favourite lounging place. The swimming pool was so enjoyable, especially in the heat. Water temperature was the same as the heated pool in our local Virgin Active gym complex, occasionally higher, so our 4 year old grandson spent large amounts of time in the pool. Again, a lot of thought has clearly been given to the siting of the pool. There is a lot to do and see in the surrounding countryside. Our regret is we didn't get out as much as anticipated as the heat was a little too much away from Les Rocans. The few trips we did make showed how picturesque that part of France remains, especially around Sablet / Seguret / Vaison. Definitely we shall explore more next time, perhaps at a quieter time of year. Kevin, thank you for providing a place which gave us all much enjoyment for our weeks stay. The whole family wished they could have stayed longer. We did our best to cherish your house as you so obviously do.

Thank you - it was another fabulous two weeks at Les Granels for us - and we loved the new additions of the hot tub and beach volley ball court.
We booked Château Bellevue with the view of using it as a base for our golf trip. Prior to that we had no real experience of the Basque Country before and in the end played less golf that originally planned as there was so much to do and see! We were extremely lucky to be there during the Fete de Bayonne festival where the entire city turns into an open air party. On a foodie note, we generally enjoyed the many Basque restaurants and in particular the harbour fish restaurants in Biarritz and St Jean de Luz. The local golf courses were very varied but the highlight had to be the challenging Golf d’Biarritz with breathtaking terrain across the edges of the cliff edge with thrilling views of the coastline.
One week was not long enough. Fabulous house - didn't want to leave. Visit Pézenas, just wonderful and great shopping.
We are back home safely again after our enjoyable trip to France. And of course the best part was our stay in your lovely house. It is the best rental accommodation we have been in because of the feeling that we were in a real home - it is beautifully decorated with such attention to detail. There wasn’t anything that you didn’t provide in every room and such an amazing amount of activities to keep everyone amused. We re just sad that the grandchildren weren’t with us as they would have loved the pool and garden. We sent videos of the games room with the train track set up as my grandson has one at home!

It's hard to put into words how pretty Maison Rohmer and the surroundings are. The interior decor is very luxurious and tasteful and the house and setting is a dream. The Luberon/Haut-Vaucluse region is a lovely place to stay - well within reach of all of Provence's jewels - and provided our family with an excellent base. It the perfect place to both launch ourselves into the countryside to climb Mount Ventoux and visit the vineyards of Beaumes-de-Venise, or simply relax by the pool. During our stay, Aries (the property manager) visited a few times to keep the garden looking perfect and clean the pool and he was also extremely useful in giving ideas for things to do in the local area... like the evening market in Coustellet, which we would have never known otherwise. The owner, was also very patient and helpful in answering all of my queries! A perfect week in Provence.
Our holiday at Villa Rossini was wonderful. The pool, gym, outdoor kitchen and location all made it extra special.
Where do I start?! Truly one of the most amazing places we’ve ever stayed. The property sits in a stunning location with beautiful mountain views yet is just a short drive from Limoux which offers everything you might need. It’s also a very easy and short drive to Carcassonne with all of its shops and attractions (and international airport). Close to beautiful Mediterranean coastline, the rugged Montagne Noir and the wonderful Pyrenees, there are too many amazing sights to list (or to see in one holiday)... if you can drag yourself away from Domaine de Nérige that is. The property itself is far beyond adequate description in words or photographs. It is utterly magical. Every aspect of the house itself and the experience it offers has been carefully and lovingly thought through by the hosts and the result is exceptional. It’s certainly not easy to achieve both elegance and comfort but they have, masterfully. As well as being entirely beautiful, the accommodation is impressively spacious- we stayed as two families over five of the bedrooms, but had we filled all bedrooms it would have felt no less spacious because of its clever and generous arrangement. It’s perfectly appointed, with an incredible kitchen with every gadget and utensil you could possibly want, an outdoor dining area with gas bbq and hot plate, luxurious towels and linen (including towels for the pool), music player, DVDs, outdoor games (table tennis, swing ball, table football, pétanque), pool table room and then there’s the swimming pool! An immaculately kept pool terrace with sun loungers, wooden pergola and even an outdoor shower. The swimming pool was fabulous for adults and children alike, being large enough for swimming lengths but also with a shallow end for the children. Kept as meticulously as the rest of the property, the pool is cleaned every morning. The hosts could not have been more helpful and welcoming from beginning to end. Due to travel disruptions we had to change the dates of our stay several times and the hosts were so accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Before we arrived Sandie had even arranged to do a grocery shop for us! She was also kind enough to arrange for a therapist to come to the house during our stay so we could have a much needed massage! I think it’s indicative of just how special this place is that everyone in our party fell entirely in love with it, children and adults alike. We can’t wait to go back.
Enjoyed a lovely short break but just as the weather broke down. However, the cottage is a gem that the owners have restored to a very high standard. Pool and sauna are excellent and the views are gorgeous. Close enough to some quaint villages with all amenities in easy reach. The cottage and surrounding area is very peaceful and just what we were looking for. The owner was super responsive to our few queries.
We all enjoyed the stay at the villa. We liked the location - both in Lezignan and the fact that it is close to Pézenas and easy to get to other locations (we went to Carcassonne; Montpellier, Millau etc) Thanks you for making the bicycle available and the table football! It was also nice to have a pool - although we only used that once. A lot of useful information was also provided in the villa. We liked the fact that you contacted us personally - it offered us reassurance prior to our trip - thanks for your help. All in all we enjoyed our stay and if in the area would visit the villa again.
