60th Wedding Anniversary, clan gathering 3 generations... and... Richard and Gay entertained us royally in their 'new' home. How could they bear to leave Le Malardier... Great boon was the virtually total absence of wasps and flies. Here's to the 65th!
We have been looking forward to our week here for a very long time (due to Covid restrictions) and it did not disappoint! The garden and house are beautiful and we all loved the pool. We could have happily stayed in the garden all week but we did tear ourselves away to see Saumur, Villandry and Montsoreau. Our children, 5 and 9, particularly enjoyed the Châetau and gardens at Villandry. Thank you for a wonderful week and a warm welcome - the fizz and roses were so lovely. We hope to return.
Absolutely perfect place for a stay with family or friends. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive to any request. The rooms are perfect, the bedding excellent.
We had a fantastic time at Mas de Clouze. We walked to Beaumont, canoed at Cenac, visited Montpazier and Chateau de Biron. Lots of long lunches at the house and hours of fun in the pool. Many thanks.
I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful house and gardens last week. Aideen and I had a fantastic holiday, due in no small part to the accommodation.
From the minute we arrived we were made to feel at home with brilliant accommodation including a lovely pool and Martyn and Jean looked after us giving suggestion of places to visit. The area was brilliant with lots to see and many restaurants within a ten minute drive plus one restaurant, bakers butchers and general store all within walking distance. A special thank you to Ombre for keeping our football skills on song. I would thoroughly recommend.
It hardly seems like any time at all since we arrived a fortnight past. Time flies when you’re having fun, and we’ve certainly enjoyed ourselves immensely. We have so appreciated your wonderful hospitality once more - not least the delicious bacon sandwiches! And what splendid lunches we had with two new restaurants we must definitely visit next time as we are already booked in with you for the three of us next June. We especially enjoyed exploring your beautiful garden during our stay this time. A l’annee procaine!
Fantastic stay - group of 10 adults and 10 children. Great set up to keep both groups well entertained and some additional surprises like a play area next to one of the outside eating areas. Sports hall and pool both huge, the later keeping us cool in the hot afternoons. The owners also helped us arrange a local cook to cater on some evenings and also a local wine producer to do a wine tasting.
What a fantastic house and grounds. We had great plans for visiting places and doing things with the grandchildren, but they indulged in endless games around the grounds, including the croquet and of course the pool. Croquet from 7.30 to 15.00 meant a wonderful time, so many, many thanks for letting us stay in your home.
What a wonderful holiday we have had. We are familiar with the region but La Tourouzelle offers the most amazing place for a holiday: fabulous views to the Pyrénées, a comfortable, well-equipped home and a fantastic pool! There is so much to do here - lovely bastide towns and villes perchées and lots of fêtes and festivals. We have particularly enjoyed the fête at Fanjeaux, the views from the Collégiale at Montréal, a late night walk around la Cité at Carcassonne, the fête du Cassoulet at Castelnaudary and the festival de Pétanque at Limoux. We look forward to another visit.
Stunning, really well maintained and clean. Feels very safe for our young family. Very well-thought-through facilities for an inter-generational group. Great use of pool, playroom, BBQ, dining areas. Delicious and varied menu enjoyed by all. Good interaction with hosts; always available (even with chocolates!). Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and hope to return.

Your house is lovely and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable week. I think I can safely say that in all the years of hiring holiday accommodation in France we have not stayed in such a well appointed and well equipped property. Perfect place for vacation in Provence. We (two families – couple with a child in each) spent 9 nights in this place and used it as a base to visit the area. Only 45 minutes from the Marseille airport. The property is located in the small village just next to forest and if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you. This is large charming house with big pool, green garden, private parking area, very well equipped kitchen (by all that you only can imagine). It is very clean, comfortable and relaxing. When we came back from our days out we rested up around the large dinner table outside until late and it was a real pleasure. We cooked breakfasts and lunches every day, big village supermarket with a lot of various delicious foods made our self catering easy and pleasant. Free Wi-Fi, TV and very reach films library were also a good surprise. The owners were very friendly and helpful; they supplied us with comprehensive information about all local attractions. This house met all our expectations and we can definitely recommend it for friends and families planning their vacation in Provence.
Excellent, everything exceeded our expectations. Lovely space. It was so lovely to arrive to hot food after a long journey and to not have to worry about shopping for the first few days. We had a fantastic holiday and will book again for next year. Thank you both so much.

The most marvellous time Thank you so very much for letting us rent out your stunning house! We had the most marvellous time. Your furniture was so comfortable and I loved all of your paintings too - have made a few notes of some of the artists for my gallery here in Dublin! The kitchen too was so well equipped and it was great to have multiple indoor and outdoor areas for children and adults alike so that everyone had enough space and peace and quiet. Thanks too for the excellent local recommendations. You're so lucky to have lovely Patrick and Hotel de Commerce on your doorstep - many a fine lunch we had there, as well as excellent meals at La Baside in Barbotan les Thermes and simple pizza in the stunning square in La Bastide d'Armagnac.
An amazing week spent with family celebrating a 50th birthday location was perfect, quiet but close to amenities such as a lovely bakery and shops. The property has everything: plenty of space to relax but also plenty of space to socialise and mingle. Philippe was an amazing host, providing an introduction to the property and location, bringing pastries twice during our stay. Great wine tour of Saint-Chinian and evening meal at Le Pourquoi Pas (which was to die for food and location). Highly recommend during your stay to take a boat tour down the Canal du Midi from Colombiers and kayaking down the river Orb from Roquebun. Thank you for your hospitality.
Very private and peaceful place to stay. Great facilities. The house was lovely, clean and spacious with all the necessary facilities. Following the advice re when to open and close shutters etc meant we were able to find shade and cool whenever needed. The pool was also clean and lovely to use - great relief in the hottest part of the day. The boulangeries in Saint Valentine and Bivet were great (as they were everywhere). Intermarche in Bivet proved handy but others available in other directions too. Late afternoon trips to Marseilles, Aix-en-Provence are perfect and parking very straight forward. Morning trip to Cassis to get into the sea was also a great success. Parking there good in the morning but looked a lot busier at later in the day.
Foreign and familiar. Grand and intimate. Giving us frivolity and solitude. Château La Roche-Posay had given us exactly what we needed. The host made our stay all the more enjoyable with the perfect amount of attention. Thank you for helping us to open our eyes to a beautiful part of France!
We found the villa straightaway and were very pleased with the quality of the accommodation. Jacky was a great guy who made us feel at home and at ease.
We had a wonderful springtime week We had a wonderful springtime week at La Maison Sebastian, full of relaxation and beautiful experiences in the surrounding countryside. It was a privilege to be welcomed to this convivial home which is clearly loved by its owners and guests alike. Everything was clean, organized, and thoughtfully done. The setting lends itself to slowing down — taking a meandering walk through the peaceful woods all around, relishing an evening aépro on the terrace, or sparking memorable conversations by the fire. We are thankful to the house guardien Francois and housekeeper Sandrine for their impeccable work. The hosts also went the extra mile for our comfort, first by ensuring we ate well during a bank holiday when many markets closed and then by returning via post a jacket I had left behind. My grandmother used to say if you forgot an item somewhere, it means your heart wants to return. In the case of San Sebastien, I know that is true. Kevin

The house was spotless and the pool one of the nicest we have used. Thierry couldn't be more helpful, giving us total peace and privacy unless we needed his assistance. We would highly recommend a stay here!
We absolutely loved our stay. The house is truly lovely and we were all very sad to leave. We loved being so close to Sarlat and had a wonderful holiday. Everyone was incredibly lovely and helpful. Thank you, Jackie, for your responsiveness and kindness throughout all our exchanges. We enjoyed our stay so much that we would love to come back and are already thinking about returning.
Unique in its kind: Le Mas Pouget has preserved its history (stones, layout) and offers a modern layout and an original, sophisticated decoration, while being soft and soothing... We stayed with 4 couples of friends and enjoyed each with plenty of privacy and space. The rooms are very large, bright, the bedding is of very good quality. The welcome is perfect, we were seduced by the attention of the owner (unheard of despite our numerous rental stays)! Finally, the region is magnificent and offers plenty of activities. If we had to look for a negative point?.... We didn't find it. We will come back, for sure.
