Thank you, we have had a fun two weeks at Le Pigat. We have cycled, run and explored the rural countryside. We have spent warm nights playing cards and dominoes with our children. We have loved the pool and the quiet and eating outdoors. It is fair to say that we have had a memorable two weeks here and we are sad to leave to go back to work and school. Great house, perfect location, private and peaceful. Lasting memories... On revient...

A perfect stay for a family Christmas. Plenty of room for 10 people. Beautiful bedrooms and bathroom. A very family-friendly living room, a superb and functional kitchen. Panoramic views of the countryside and a short drive to a local village where we could get all of our suppliers, every aspect of the stay was catered for and a stunning pool. So peaceful and tranquil, we didn’t want to leave. Just perfect.
We are now travelling to the Loire after spending a lovely week at Les Faures. After an initial couple of cloudy days, the weather turned out to be beautiful. We very much enjoyed exploring the area. We went canoeing at Pessac and went to the beautiful Château de Carbonneau. We also really enjoyed Le Gensake. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely house.
You beat me to it! I’d been meaning to email to say what an excellent time we’ve been having and to thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful home. It’s such a gorgeous spot, the weather has been perfect and we love the fact that the house feels like a much loved family home so thank you for sharing it with us. It is so well equipped and comfortable, with a lovely ambience - we are greatly enjoying relaxing and eating meals in all the different beautiful spots in the garden. No practical problems and everything seems in order. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.
Glorious sunshine for us all week. We've had a lovely time exploring. The children pretended to be Rapunzel at Maison Baleyssagues and had a wonderful day the Lac de Lougratte. I jogged in and out of the grape wines, which was surprisingly exhausting. We all had too many croissants? Thank you for a terrific week in gorgeous setting.
Maison Theron is spotlessly clean and immaculately presented, we couldn’t have been happier and would have been delighted to spend much longer there. Great beds - very comfortable a lovely living space and a private and cleverly done garden with a pool. This quiet and calming home is a wonderful find.
Great house specially the swimming pool, garden and the amazing sunsets. Quiet area, for those really looking for a place to disconnect. We loved it!

We had a wonderful holiday at Maison Emz. Jacky and Anne are the perfect hosts, being friendly, helpful and keen to allow us to have a good vacation. Maison Emz is a beautiful house with excellent facilities and is beautifully decorated and equipped. The outside spaces and pool area provide a lovely environment to relax. The house location, in a quiet rural area but with the good local town of Goudargues and other interesting towns and villages within easy reach, is a great place to enjoy two weeks in the sun.
Spacious and beautiful house and grounds. Shaded areas a welcome balance. Very child and baby friendly. Lovely pool. Everything thought of and provided for a 3 generation family. Toys / DVDs / Books perfectly stocked. Playroom and comfortable seating a huge bonus. The WII very much appreciated! Food delicious and in perfect quantities. Very helpful to have options - prepared and / or catered. Thoughtful and considerate catering for children.

An amazing house with the best swimming pool we have ever seen! 16 of us stayed in this lovely house for 2 weeks as we took the little gîte as well. We had a fabulous holiday. You have to drive up through fields of sunflowers to get there – a great welcome. We had loads of children but the pool is so big they spent the whole time doing acrobatics in it – and there was still room for us adults, when we managed to peel ourselves off the sun loungers. Evenings were spent playing tennis on the courts in the house grounds, BBQs, or local restaurants.
Thank you for such a relaxing holiday. You have put a lot of thought into the house and it was a great, lovely place to stay. Favourite Moment: Finding the bat in the umbrella by the pool! Every afternoon! Places We Recommend: Allo Canoës, Brantôme, Ribérac Market.
A beautiful property in a nice quiet location but still close to many interesting places to visit. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable and there was a lovely covered eating area outside. We also really loved the pool. We especially enjoyed canoeing on the Dordogne and visiting Domme and Le Jardin Marqueyssac. We also left something behind which Victoire kindly sent on to us.
It is beautiful and absolutely perfect for our needs. We also loved the village and the restaurant. We have stayed in some lovely houses in France but yours is definitely the best. We will be in touch when we next head to France!

I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at Villa Bellara. It was immaculate and is perfectly positioned to access to supermarket, patisserie, beaches and numerous quality restaurants and a short walk to the train station - which we used most days to visit other coastal resorts. The villa was considerably larger than we expected and was well equipped for our stay. The quiet residential location was a bonus after having busy days out. All in all a perfect property. Somewhere special. From the moment we arrived at Le Manoir des Fouilloux we knew it was somewhere special. The attention to detail in every little corner of the beautiful and spacious house and grounds are the result of great vision and an enormous labour of love by its delightful owners Ian and Hugh. Le Manoir exudes a classic, elegant style, with some fun and quirky touches and is luxurious throughout, whilst also allowing you to feel truly relaxed and pampered. You are really spoilt for choice with so many quiet corners to sit, read, relax, snooze, chat and drink rosé as well as several areas to enjoy sunny or shady breakfasts, long lunches and suppers. With a 10 and 13 year old in tow and temperatures of up to 37 degrees, we spent a large part of our time around the stunning pool Hugh and Ian have created. Not wanting to be too lazy though, there are plenty of things to do very close by – kayaking, tree top climbing and river swimming can all be done from St Aulaye and Aubeterre is also well worth a visit. Ian and Hugh are the most thoughtful and considerate hosts and should be rightly proud of the tranquil haven they have created. This was quite possibly the best family holiday we have had and we hope to return one day to enjoy it all over again! Thank you all.
What an amazing 2 weeks, it went far too quick. The most perfect accommodation. Scenery, weather, could not fault anything. Amazing days out at the Aquaparc in Castelnaudary (excellent value for money). Villeneuve-sur-Lot is worth a visit for some shopping and excellent food at Terminus de la Cale with amazing views of the river. Lacapelle night market is a great experience (try and get there by 5:30pm for parking). Go karting at K47 near Agen is perfect if the weather is a bit mixed. Otherwise just relax at the house. We definitely hope to be back.

Both (the house and grounds) are absolutely beautiful and fantastic for parents and children alike. Despite a lot of activities in and around the area, we chose to stay 'in' more than we had expected because of how good the house and grounds were. A stunning location which surpassed our expectations. Both this and the hosts made this into a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. THE BEST FAMILY HOLIDAY WE'VE HAD - Thank you for everything! X
First visit was in 2010 for two weeks in May. This one-week revisit was a long-delayed family Christmas holiday. The house is charming, well-maintained and comfortable. The location is perfect for walking to local cafes and restaurants, shops, the amazing Saturday market and in-town sites of historical and architectural interest. Outside town, just 15 to 30 minutes by car are numerous chateaux, gardens, museums, prehistoric sites with cave paintings and more. So much to do and then a lovely place to come home to. Jackie was a wonderful host.
Great holiday. Great accommodation, fantastic hosts, wonderful holiday. A very impressive château in huge grounds make this a great venue to relax and unwind. Each room has a unique character and there is a huge kitchen. Highly recommended.
