The house was the perfect setting for our party of 8. The bedrooms were all a good size and with 3 bathrooms and great air conditioning they were perfect. The indoor kitchen and dining area are huge and are the best equipped we have ever had. The outside areas are just outstanding. We used the bbq a couple of times and ate outside every evening. The table tennis was fab and we developed a great love for darts! The pool is to die for. In terms of the area, Collins bar is a 5/10 minute drive away and is open from 5pm for drinks on a hilltop. We had a meal and wine tasting at Logeril (Pennautier) which we loved. There are plenty of pizzerias a short drive away. Clearly a car or two are required
You could not wish for more in a holiday accommodation. Everything about this place is perfect – the warm welcome by the hosts, the beautifully designed and furnished gite, the very special location and brilliant views over vineyards, forest and softly rolling hills, the helpful recommendations from Esther and Leonard. We only have one regret – and that is that we didn’t stay long enough.
Lots of space for 3 generations of family. Kids loved pool house brilliant and they loved playing in grounds. Playroom kept kids entertained. Lots of toys and videos. Excellent. Gas BBQ was fab. Lovely cooker and dishwasher, tumble dryer made for easy holiday. Takayla and Nick excellent hosts, great welcome and nice to know they are on hand for any problems. Would come back again.
We had a wonderful time at Le Sechoir…countless idle days reading by the pool in the sun. So so special after the last year.
We had had this property booked since 2020 to celebrate my 70th birthday together with my son and his family. This was part of a four week French vacation. The property was just as we had hoped. A typical French Château, very roomy filled with antiques. The owners were very helpful and accommodating to our every need. It was well equipped and the grounds were delightful. The pool was very much appreciated as the weather was unseasonably hot. We all enjoyed our holiday and would love to return again. Thank you.
Another fantastic stay for the Hill family. Everything you could wish for and worth listening to the daily countdown from the grandchildren since we booked. Only problem is 2 weeks is not enough!

Wow, wow, wow – when I first saw the pictures it looked gorgeous, but when we arrived the villa was even more stunning. We have had the most amazing week. Debbie and Brent are absolutely lovely and make you feel so welcome. The grounds were so picturesque. This was our first holiday with our 1 year old baby and we couldn't have wished for a better holiday. Thank you La Bastide!

At the end of a long and busy vacation in France, the property was a beautiful place to relax. The grounds and pool are perfect, the owners were friendly and helpful. Very clean, well appointed, comfortable. Close enough to go where we wanted along the Côte d'Azur, but peaceful when we wanted to relax. One week was not enough. Will definitely return here if we travel to France again.
The property was everything we were hoping for and more. It's simple yet beautifully done out inside. The outdoor areas are great, particularly the pool. It's so well designed for a family holiday. The local village is so cute and the hotel restaurant great too. And obviously the local wine was delicious too! Couldn't have asked for more.
Thank you for a wonderful stay in oyur villa, Philippe. The perfect place for 70th birthday celebrations/family reunion. The pool is so well set up for relaxing, socialising and being able to keep an eye on the kids. After a week in the pool, our daughter was able to swim independently by the end! Thank you for your warm and friendly hosting: the welcome cheese, breakfast pastries, brilliant meal at La Tour de Montady, fabulous wine tasting at Saint-Chinian - it has all beenso memorable and made the trip that much better. Other highlights have been many bike rides through the vines, a trip to Chichoulet Beach, discovering the butcher and pâtissière in Cazouls-les-Béziers and enjoying the local produce by the pool every evening.
A fabulous 2 week holiday for the whole family, ages from 11 weeks to 70 years!! A superb house + grounds and a very special thanks to Lynda for her generosity + helping us on our last weekend.
We've had an amazing time thanks. Visited as many places as the kids will tolerate and we somehow did the Renoir museum without breaking anything!! They’ve both absolutely loved the pool and their swimming has improved loads. Our youngest, Hal, has gone from tentatively swimming 5m to now confidently doing 20 lengths without stopping. Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable holiday at Mas Saint-Martial! We are a family of four with teenagers (plus a dog) and we spent 2 fabulous weeks at the house. The pool was a stand-out highlight – heated, salt water and fully gated for safety – fantastic family times and memories created playing games. The boules pitch, badminton court and BBQ were also great ways to entertain ourselves. The owners live part of the year in the house next door and are extremely responsive, supportive and welcoming whilst also giving you enough ‘space’ to enjoy the seclusion and peace. In terms of restaurants, there are plenty of very reasonably priced places within easy driving distance – there are plenty of great places to visit too – Aubeterre (with a 9 hole golf range) and Brantôme were highlights for us. We even walked to the local 5 course lunch place at Chez Moran which was amazing and cheap! Their occasional night time events with music and the fish and chip van are great fun. A real gem of a place. Thank you!
This was our second stay at The Cottage du Jardin and it certainly not be our last. Caterina and Steven are perfect host who were wonderful company when the time was appropriate but gave us full privacy at all other time. To be honest, they were both like good neighbours and made us feel as if we were at home. We could speak too highly of the region, the cottage or of Cat and Steve. Thanks for a lovely week.

Have had a great two weeks here in your wonderful house. Very spacious and well-appointed, tasteful and comfortable. Boys have thoroughly enjoyed the pool. We have appreciated tranquility and privacy. We have enjoyed exploring the area and sampling the local cuisine. Restaurant recommendations include Hotel-Restaurant du Château in Campagne, Auberge Médiévale Audrix and for rustic but delicious farmhouse cuisine - Auberge Rebeyrotte near Pressigirac Vicq. We loved our stay - we were in a mixed group and it worked really well as each couple had their own space and privacy, but there are wonderful spaces for entertaining as a large group. The pool area is stunning and the setting is calm, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed taking the bikes on trips to nearby villages too!
We recently spent a week at Le Manoir des Sines and I have been trying to settle on the precise word to describe this property and our experience of it. That word is 'sublime'. Utterly sublime! We knew we were in for something special from the photo gallery and description of the property but nothing could prepare us for the magic of being there. Everything from the outdoor kitchen to the magnificent pool terrace to the cinema room to the resident nutri bullet– we had everything we wanted. We loved the white washed stone, the enormous sense of space that never made our group of nine feel lost, the gorgeous, rustic décor, the myriad paintings everywhere. Honestly, I can't imagine anything more sublime than a stay at Le Manoir des Sines.
What a joy! We had such an amazing week at your fantastic house! We loved the house, the garden and the pool! The weather was perfect. We had a wonderful evening at ‘Poquelin’ and we had dinner at several of the restaurants recommended. (Chez Leo!!) Golf at Cháteau les Merles, what a beautiful place. We would love to come back.
Thank you so much for an amazing stay, how will we cope without the view!!!! Main highlights include, hanging around the house, Mount Ventoux for go carting and tubing etc, watching the Tour de France at Grignan, Nyons for great markets and music in the evenings, les Barons perches Nyons for high ropes and Vaison la romaine.
We (family of four, 2 adults and 2 children) enjoyed a lovely week here in July. Fantastic with private pool which was cleaned every day, walking distance to pretty village and bakers, lovely and very welcoming hosts. The house contains two sweet bedrooms, large and relaxing lounge / kitchen area, outdoor kitchen and terrace plus a nice pavilion by the pool. Lots of games available including a table tennis table. Had a great week and happy to recommend.
The pool really is warm! Yes the pool really is that warm and the view really is that good. A short term home rather than a place to stay, just lovely. We hope to see you again and send our very best wishes.

What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year.
