We were a group of 7 adults and have had the most fabulous week in your villa. It is so unusual for a villa to work on every level, but yours really did. So much space – and so very well thought through with absolutely everything you might need supplied. And yes – far better than the pictures suggested. We greatly appreciated the cheese + wine on arrival – the bread + pâté through the week – and of course the meal at La Tour, which was just amazing! We made good use of the bikes (coldly wet!) and made our way to Montady a few times (a lovely ride on the cycle path). We visited Béziers, Carcassonne + Minerve – but most importantly – we were able to relax + chat and laugh! Thank you Philippe. What a great week.

We stayed at Villa La Baronne for a week in early October. We were blessed with good weather and the surrounding area is beautiful and historically very interesting. As for the property itself, Villa La Baronne offers every possible amenity a guest might wish for. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The living areas are spacious and inviting. Outside the garden is lovely and has ample space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The swimming pool is of a great size and in cooler temperatures it is heated. We had a lovely time and the hosts were exceptional. Can't recommend this villa enough. Book it while you can!
Thank you both so much for a magical 5-night stay. We have absolutely loved staying here and will miss it when we go home! The gîte is amazing, beautiful inside and out. We really appreciate all of your efforts for making our stay so comfortable. Such a lovely touch having fresh bread, eggs and veg from your garden waiting for us - perfect. We loved feeding the chickens and the horse! Thank you also for all the recommendations on what to see and where to go, Russell. We will definitely be back!
We've had a great time and we’ve especially enjoyed the pool, as the temperature has barely dropped below 30°C day or night for the week due to the canicule. Our favorites: Best boulangerie: Andralie in Monflanquin, just beyond the Gendarmerie on the road to Villeneuve. There is an Auchan hypermarket just beyond on the same road. Best market: (Sunday) Issigeac. Best night for: Sarlat (Wednesday's), Le Bugue also good (Tuesday's). Best for a visit and potter: Monpazier – old, beautiful and floral. Lots of artisan shops and a long fort (Château Biron). Also, fabulous marché nocturne in Tournon d’Agenais on Friday. We ate from (Gyp?) and enjoyed watching Olympics in cool shady areas.
Thank you for your lovely welcome. The house and garden are so very beautiful and a real inspiration. We have felt completely at home. Your wonderful information book has been invaluable. We hope to return soon.
We absolutely loved this beautiful place. Everything was perfect and the communication with the host was excellent. We want to come back as soon as possible!! It is a slice of paradise.
We have had a wonderfully pleasant stay at Le Malardier. The weather was very hot for a few days and much rain is needed. The views and layout of the property are very suitable for a large family group. The years of construction and design have really paid off. So, thank you for your kind hospitality.
What a wonderful week we have had exploring the Loire from your beautiful house! From the very warm welcome as soon as we arrived, it was clear that we had found a special place. A beautiful property in a nice quiet location but still close to many interesting places to visit. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable and there was a lovely covered eating area outside. We also really loved the pool. We especially enjoyed canoeing on the Dordogne and visiting Domme and Le Jardin Marqueyssac. We also left something behind which Victoire kindly sent on to us.
Beautifully converted and furnished house with two lovely gîtes, a swimming pool and terraces. The wide views over the vineyards are unprecedented. The owners again make something very beautiful !!!

We had a wonderful week with family and friends in this beautiful, superbly restored house. Calm, tranquility, countryside, vineyards, large heated swimming pool, games room, wooded park, bowling green, shaded terrace, everything has made you feel good in this house. Very pleasant rooms with private bathroom for almost all, large living room with lounge, very well equipped kitchen... and very generous packed lunch on arrival… Thank you Tracy for the welcome.
A beautiful house with a great view and pool. Very spacious and kitchen was fully equipped. The housekeeper was very responsive and provided great care. Would love to come back and definitely recommend for a remote getaway for a group of 7.
Had a great 2 weeks. The house and gardens / pool are amazing - fresh air, beautiful scenery and sitting out every evening was so relaxing! The house is so well equipped and the kids really enjoyed all the facilities. Would absolutely recommend Orchard Farmhoue to anyone coming to the region. The location in great - so easy to get to Bergerac, Perigeux. Thank you for a great holiday.
Everybody in the group is very happy over the stay. We have enjoyed the pool and the shade on the huge terrace, especially these hot days. We very much agree that you have a fantastic home. We would love to come back another year.
We've had a lovely week here at the villa. It's been especially good for our youngest family member who has really enjoyed playing here. We loved the heated pool, especially when the clouds come over the fun can continue. Absolutely recommend a trip to see Carcassonne for those wanting a day trip, but remember to check what is open. A beautiful house, fully equipped with EVERYTHING you could ever need or think of! The pool area is just brilliant and we all enjoyed spending the majority of our stay here underwater. We had the most wonderful week at Les Rocans last week. Please would you pass this on to the owners. We have stayed in France annually and many times in between, over the past 45 years and Les Rocans beats them all for outlook, atmosphere, amenities, beauty and suitability for our growing family. We had two gorgoeus weeks in this fabulous farmhouse. The house is large and spacious with everything you would need. The hosts were so wonderful and made us fell very welcome - nothing was too much trouble! There is plenty to do in the surrounding area - lots of wonderful towns to explore, canoeing, swimming in the lakes and lovely walks. We were two families with 5 teenagers. We all agreed that we would happily go back!
