We certainly had a restful and memorable holiday at Château Monjardin... the house and grounds are magnificent and provided a lovely quiet retreat that the whole family enjoyed.

Comfortable house on the edge of Seillans village with lovely views. Great terrace for outdoor eating and a lovely, well maintained pool. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was lovely and silent. Good location for exploring the area, though you could easily just stay put, relax, eat at the local restaurants and shop at the well stocked local Carrefour. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and fully intend to come back.
We have arrived and are truly stunned by how lovely your house is. The photos really don’t do it justice! Thank you for leaving such lovely food and for letting us stay in this truly amazing place. It will be difficult to leave!
If / when we return to continue exploring this lovely area of France, we would hope to be able to stay in 'The Loft'. Russell and Karen have been very welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive and nothing seems too much trouble. Perfect hosts! Sad to be leaving after only a week.
Maison Des Vignobles is a property full of character features and a really high level of facilities with thoughtful finishing touches. Very spacious downstairs is complemented by a superb master bedroom with large en suite looking out over the neighbouring vineyard. Top quality plumbing next to period features is always good! Debbie was the perfect neighbour/owner, being super helpful and generous with a welcome pack and her local knowledge. The laundry room with local products for sale (including wine) was an unexpected bonus. The courtyard, pool and gardens are all lovely, though one tiny shame is that they are on the other side of the house from the big view across the vineyard - but many of the windows have that view so no reason to miss the sunsets and stars.
On our first house hunting trip we could not have me more friendly and welcoming people than you. La Jolie Vue does not only offer a magnificent view on the rolling hills, it was restored with much care and love !we thank you for your outstanding hospitality dare we say friendship. Herman will pick up the guitar again and hopefully we will find time to make music together soon.

We stayed in Maison Rohmer for 11 nights in June and thoroughly enjoyed the house and peaceful setting at the end of a private track. Everything was very clean and well furnished with excellent bathrooms and plenty of hot water. We swam in the pool every day bar one, when there was a big thunderstorm that drenched the area and had a strange effect of gradually turning the colour of the water in the pool to green, but was perfectly ok to swim in. The owner was on hand to answer any queries we had despite being in the USA at the time of our stay, something that we both appreciated greatly. Gordes and the area around was lovely with so many beautiful towns and villages to explore on foot or bike or car, a great area of France to return to again.
Thank you so much for your hospitality. The view is fantastic. We have had a lovely relaxing week. Carcassonne and Castelnaudary were lovely. We had fantastic day in the Pyrénées and Andorra. Despite the rain when we arrived, the weather has been sunny and warm. Au revoir!
Wonderful villa, pool and location We loved everything about our stay. Danny was very welcoming on our arrival and charming when we left. The villa is superb with a beautiful view, lovely garden and is very well equipped. The pool is incredible and we swam every day. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very welcome. Lots of interesting places to visit in the area. We highly recommend it.
We have had a wonderful, relaxing and very enjoyable week at the farmhouse. It is a stunning place that we have enjoyed immensely. We have found it difficult to tear ourselves away from the glorious pool and tennis court and have had a fabulous rest! My wife and I have been visiting France for over 20 years and The Loft is the best property we have stayed at. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. Russell and Karen have fitted out The Loft with wonderful taste and all of the bathrooms are top quality including the selection of toiletries left for their guests to use. Their attention to detail is second to none. We received an extensive welcome pack when we arrived at the house and Karen even delivered fresh pastries for breakfast on the Sunday morning from the local Boulangerie. Outside the house there is a beautiful pool and garden but the jewel in the crown is the large sheltered "porch area". This is a half open and half covered space off the front of The Loft where you can choose sun or shade during the day. The BBQ is there along with a big dining table and also sofas for relaxing. It’s a fab place to eat and drink during the day or on an evening with a lovely view of the extensive gardens. Rieux Minervois is a nice little town situated in the middle of the Minervois wine region It has a good Italian restaurant within 2 minutes walk from the house, which Karen kindly booked it for us for the night we arrived. The food was very good. The town is also well placed to visit Carcassonne, Narbonne and several of the coastal towns; we particularly enjoyed Gruissan. It is also surrounded by many other small villages with excellent restaurants if you want enjoy a lazy lunch during your holiday. Karen will even book them for you if you ask. Overall we spent a lovely week in The Languedoc. Thank you Russell and Karen for your hospitality and for going to such lengths to make our holiday so memorable.
Another amazing stay at Maison Baleyssagues where we were very warmly hosted by Frédéric and his team. Such a peaceful location, sitting proudly on the hill top with panaramic views. Very spacious gardens topped with a beautiful pool and it’s own water fountain. Inside the villa nothing is left to chance with a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms. Looking at the pictures only tell half the story, it’s a superb place, if you don’t book early you’ll miss your chance as this place is always full, I wonder why?
It is beautiful spot... We loved the pool and the views and wild-life spotting. We would recommend Poltrot as a beautiful spot for food and a paddle in the river, Grottes de Villars is well worth a visit with kids to see the cave paintings. Aubeterre and Brantôme beautiful.

Thank you for all of your help. We had a marvelous stay at your property. The home was lovely and the grounds were amazing.
We are a family of 4 who decided to discover the Périgord region. We looked at this property and fell in love with the outside: the château itself and the beautiful garden with a pool. The interior decoration was unique as there was a very pretty sitting room with a piano which reminded me of 18th century style while the dining room had more medieval features. The second floor had many bedrooms which was very good for the rest of our family who joined us later. On that floor, there is also a second TV room where all the teenagers hung out . We dined inside in the morning and outside in the evening. We enjoyed barbecues and (a lot of) good wine. The neighbors, who are also friends of the owner , were very helpful and nice. We discovered all kinds of attractions like visiting castles, tasting wine, kayaking on the Dordogne and going to huge parties organized by different villages through the summer. In short , we enjoyed our vacation in this beautiful château very much! We’ll definitely come back for another vacation.
This is our second time coming to David and Kirstie's place to enjoy a long weekend with friends. Everything is always great. Excellent accommodation, top hosts, top-notch environment! Loved our stay and can only recommend 100%! We'll be back again, that's for sure.

My family and I had a wonderful stay In Sabatel Farmhouse. The hamlet is very peaceful and set back into the landscape. The house has the most beautiful garden, with a great sized pool and lounging area. We enjoyed cooking in the very well equipped kitchen and ate on the lovely sunny terrace overlooking the garden. There is a big blind to help when it gets really warm and sunny. The local markets and villages are a great way to spend the day exploring. We had the most amazing time. Can't wait to visit again!
A stunning villa perfectly set up and loved by our children. The extra touches like coffee machine, Lego for the boys to play with, a bottle of champagne to welcome us on arrival were excellent. The boys loved the heated pool, walking into town for bread / croissants in the morning and lunch on the terrace. Some excellent restaurants in town including Chez Paul, Maison Conti, La Ripaille, Les Palmiers and La Pomme d'Amour. The Pedahorail is not for the faint hearted. Had a lovely holiday. Thank you!
For once, the house was better than the photos ! Quality and tasteful interior and magnificent garden. Well maintained pool. Lovely countryside walks nearby. Great local restaurants. Don't miss a visit to Minerve, a traditional Cathar town. A fabulous holiday.
We could not leave without saying what a privilege it was being the first family to rent your beautiful house. We have had the most fantastic time - the house is absolutely perfect. We felt we really experienced the area visiting Grimaud, Port Grimaud, Saint-Maxime and Gassin - all are well worth a visit. We even went wakeboarding (well Ian did) and can recommend Adventure Sports Saint-Tropez who do loads of water sports. We hope the next guests have as great a time as we did.
