Magnificent property, super equipped, very large swimming pool at a perfect temperature, exceptional grounds, tennis court in perfect condition, well-appointed and comfortable common areas... Hard to beat for a family vacation! The place is perfect for children and less young people... Very clean, comfortable, very pleasant, excellent communication with the owners. The best!

Absolutely delicious property in a beautiful part of the world. The property is very well maintained and rustic. I can recommend to any group planning a stay in the Dordogne. Our stay was in mid April when the weather started to improve. 26 degrees on our last day, perfect!
We had a wonderful time at Villa Estephe. As we mentioned while there, this is about our sixth visit to the area so we were very well acquainted with its beauty. As you know, the weather was fantastic, even a little too hot in the second week, so shade from the trees and air conditioning were both very welcome. The accommodation is excellent and very comfortable. If we visit the area again, we will certainly be considering your property. Thank you for our stay.
We had a wonderful holiday here, the garden and swimming pool area is a real gem and the surroundings are beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the markets in Nyons and Vaison la romaine, the Roman ruins in Vaison and Sault and the cave paintings at Chauvet-pont d’acr are astonishing, we also enjoyed the local wines, it was very special drinking Audrey Latards wonderful wines knowing they are from the vines at the end of the garden, Thank you.
Lovely old place restored by Frederic. We were lucky enough to be there for the festival in Sauve which was great! Far too hot to go hiking in the hills but managed trips to Uzes ( beautiful) and of course the Haribo museum for the kids. Pool cover needs 2 people and doesn’t come all the way back but it’s for safety. Kitchen well equipped for a large group. Really enjoyed our stay!

Somewhere special. From the moment we arrived at Le Manoir des Fouilloux we knew it was somewhere special. The attention to detail in every little corner of the beautiful and spacious house and grounds are the result of great vision and an enormous labour of love by its delightful owners Ian and Hugh. Le Manoir exudes a classic, elegant style, with some fun and quirky touches and is luxurious throughout, whilst also allowing you to feel truly relaxed and pampered. You are really spoilt for choice with so many quiet corners to sit, read, relax, snooze, chat and drink rosé as well as several areas to enjoy sunny or shady breakfasts, long lunches and suppers. With a 10 and 13 year old in tow and temperatures of up to 37 degrees, we spent a large part of our time around the stunning pool Hugh and Ian have created. Not wanting to be too lazy though, there are plenty of things to do very close by – kayaking, tree top climbing and river swimming can all be done from St Aulaye and Aubeterre is also well worth a visit. Ian and Hugh are the most thoughtful and considerate hosts and should be rightly proud of the tranquil haven they have created. This was quite possibly the best family holiday we have had and we hope to return one day to enjoy it all over again! Thank you all.
Excellent stay at your home, everything is admirably organized to quickly experience the house and the region. The swimming pool is a marvel. The garden and the house are well thought out with the superb view, not overlooked. The house is at the same time very close to the village, 10 minutes on foot, so the best of both worlds. Bravo for the notes, information, games etc. Everything is very practical and easy to use.

What a wonderful house. Superb vistas - just like a second home - we don't want to leave (which is why we are still here!). We've explored, swam all day in the pool, drunk many bottles of Rose and canoed. Thank you so much.
We had a truly relaxing stay at this lovely property. Immaculate and well equipped- perfectly combining a traditional French property with a modern interior. Most of our time spent chilling by the pool and enjoying the rural surroundings. Christophe was an excellent host always respecting our privacy but helping us out with things such as a wine tasting and setting up the BBQ. The local town Monsegur worth a visit for meals and drinks out - would recommend that you need a car to get around. There was only 4 of us but lots of space to accommodate a larger group - the outside covered space by the pool giving shade from the sunshine if needed. Wished we could have stayed for longer.
We had a great week in a particularly nice house in a great location. Was very quick on our texts. If we get the chance, we will definitely go back to this special place.

We had an incredible family vacation at Château, celebrating the anniversary with a large group. The castle, the other building and the extensive private grounds are beautiful and very relaxing, we had everything we needed and the place was spotlessly clean. The hosts had thought of everything and we can't wait to come back
It was truly a first class apartment, in a superb location with lovely sea views. Corinne and her husband were perfect hosts: excellent communication before our arrival, welcoming, friendly and very helpful during our stay, without ever being intrusive. We appreciated the impeccable modern interior of the apartment, the terrace and all the little touches provided by Corinne; we took advantage of the proximity to numerous restaurants and the possibility to stroll along the seafront - as well as enjoying the rooftop swimming pool, the beach and the marina with its unique atmosphere. We will come back with great pleasure and I highly recommend the apartment.
This home is spacious and beautifully appointed with spectacular views that offer an ever-changing backdrop. We found the early mornings particularly beautiful and loved watching the amazing sunsets sitting by the pool or on the veranda. This stylish and well-equipped home from home was a truly wonderful place to stay and had everything we could wish for to have a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We look forward to returning very soon.
We have had a fantastic holiday here! The pool was great as was the weather. The house was great as well and was very comfy. The garden was amazing, we practically lived outside. Overall we really loved our stay here and will definitely recommend this holiday to our friends and family.

Thank you so very much Benjy, Kate and Issy for welcoming us to the property. We have had the most heavenly week here and we leave feeling thoroughly relaxed. The lands, vineyards and pool are all spectacular and a fabulous location for a group of friends. The weather has been glorious and to be honest, it has been quite difficult to drag ourselves away from the house and pool… However, we did venture to Fontevraud (which we loved), and we discovered a couple of the local markets. We were very grateful for the small touches that made our stay special – the beautiful turn of the winery, the supplies of food (and drinks!) and the comfy beds and copious linen and towels. We also enjoyed cooking on the Aga – risotto, roast chicken etc. Delicious food to accompany your STUNNING wine! We very much hope to return one day.
Wonderful holidays in Nissan-Lez-Enserune. We had wonderful holidays there. Location was very convenient, inside the village where shops / market were at walking distance. Our car remained within the property, so no pb to park. We took it only to visit the nearby cities of Narbonne, Gruissan and Béziers (20/30 min ride). The house was clean, with recent works being done and well equiped (nice kitchen and bathrooms). Pool was large, clean and surrounded by beautiful oleanders. We'll consider coming again for sure. We loved staying in your beautiful home. The facilities, garden, decor and views were stunning. Frederic has looked after us so well. We have taken long country walks, visited local villages and markets. We went to Les Eyzies for tones of incredible caves including Rouffignac. We had a great time with the family at Helen's home! We enjoyed the idyllic setting of the house overlooking Margon Castle from the pool. Pool also very nice. The accommodation was extremely well equipped, it had all the essentials to have a good stay and make the most of the potential of the house. A little extra for the fans in the basement bedrooms, which allowed us to sleep without the great heat. The large table outside allowed us to have our meals together, enjoying the beautiful sunshine. We can recommend this great house, Thank you!
What an incredible home base! We felt so fortunate to return here every day after days spent exploring the beautiful towns of Lot and the Dordogne. We wondered whether we might find Castelnau-Montratier to be a little too quiet, but were always grateful for the respite. The house and its quiet luxury hiding behind the unassuming little gate was a constant surprise to us and we loved every minute. Many thanks to Barbara for quickly responding to our every query. We are already wondering when we'll return! P.S. Viking chess is our new favourite game!
The house and the grounds are fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area. The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc comfortable. The kids loved the swings etc and the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. The food was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. We all had a wonderful holiday and the accommodation suited us so well, we were very lucky with the weather and the pool was perfect, such a great place to relax. We enjoyed eating outside looking at the wonderful views to the Mediterranean.
