We just wanted to say how impressed we were with the house we rented through Pure France. We have rented a lot of houses both in the UK and overseas and I think this was definitely one of the very best. It was so well equipped - not just in terms of entertainment but all the items in the house (especially in the kitchen) and home comforts and the swimming pool was perfect. We are so glad we found it and we had an excellent week.
Cédric, another wonderful holiday in your beautiful villa. We enjoyed it so much, with trips towards Narbonne, the Canal du Midi, Pézenas, Gruissan for the stage 16 of the Tour de France, as well as lots of time in the fantastic pool! you wer a great host, showing us your new wine cellar (I didn't drink all the wine!) and telling us your plans to make the house even better. The Garden Cottage is exactly as described. It oozes charm, character and good taste. It was spotlessly clean. The large swimming pool and patio area is beautiful, private and well maintained. The cottage is very conveniently located, being a pleasant walk or a very short drive to Thonac village. There one will find a good pizza restaurant / bar, a hotel with both a garden and indoor restaurant and a small supermarket. Two large supermarkets, pharmacy and petrol station are just five minutes drive away at Montignac. This is a very nice small town to visit and where one buys tickets for Lascaux. The cottage is perfectly situated to visit the numerous places of interest in the area and the owners have provided an information brochure of local markets, events and places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 week stay and found the owners discreet, charming and helpful. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending the property to couples who want a completely relaxing and comfortable holiday.

What a wonderful stay we have had at this glorious villa. We could not stay out of the pool as we were so lucky with the weather. The pool inflatables were fantastic, children and adults enjoyed lazing around in the pool for hours on end! We had some great nights in Sarlat at 'Le Pub' watching the street performers. The villa is very well equipped and laid out allowing for us to have our own space as well as a social space. We hope to return next year.
We have taken our holidays in France in all regions for 12 years. This gîte is in the top two. The facilities and location are ideal. We have enjoyed a very relaxing holiday. Many thanks. Best weather ever!
La Barde is much more than a holiday house - a real home beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean and with a spacious, well equipped kitchen which was a pleasure to cook in. The host made us feel really welcome and went out of her way to provide everything we needed from the clear maps she sent to help us find the house to finding out about kayaking for us and even bringing us plenty of extra games and dvd's when the rain came down on our second day. In spite of the weather we really enjoyed the pool in its beautiful setting and the boys enjoyed playing football in the meadow. The gardens are beautiful and we enjoyed exploring and walking through to the lane and up to the small bar in the village. We hired bikes which were delivered and picked up and it was a great way to explore the surrounding countryside and villages. We all hope to go back next summer, there is so much in the area still to see though if the sun shone I don't think we would want to leave the garden and swimming pool! Thank you for a really memorable holiday.
We have returned from 2 perfect weeks holiday at La Cigalière in Servian. Really lovely house, perfect pool, would go back in a flash.
Quick note to say thank you for letting us enjoy your wonderful villa and the extended departure. We loved every minute and hope to be back next year. Gordes is magical but there is something special about La Borie.
Very beautiful villa, tastefully renovated. We spent 3 very pleasant days there as a family. The big plus is having a shower room and WC for each bedroom. Ideal location to relax and walk along the Canal du Midi. We will gladly come back.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Château Périgord. The building is so incredibly beautiful and full of atmosphere. We all loved it and will have many happy memories from our stay here. Merci beaucoup!
The pool was amazing and the weather was nice. It was wonderful 5/5 would love to be staying longer. The pool was amazing. The beds are so nice.
Prior to arriving, dealing with Pete was easy and this continued with both him and Kate throughout our stay. We’d been in Avignon for week before where it was very hot, this continued in Curzon but the house was lovely and cool throughout. We all had no trouble sleeping which meant we weren’t able to take advantage of the pool for the first morning as we all slept in. When we did get out there, it was wonderful. As a family of 4 we were able to relax and have fun round the pool all day every day if we wanted, including cooking lunch and dinner on the gas BBQ in the outside kitchen which we made full use of. Facilities in the house were great and we relaxed quickly, taking advantage of the welcome package of goodies. We explored the surrounding villages and towns which were in easy reach and a 10 minute drive for bread each morning or a full shop meant we could simply pop out and get something for dinner/breakfast. They really looked after us and each morning we woke to a clean pool and surroundings, including towels waiting for us. We felt truly spoilt during our stay and could have easily booked 3 weeks or more and I imagine Pete and Kate will be managing full summers for a while to come. Thank you Pete and Kate for a memorable stay!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. We have had a fabulous time in the pool, playing pool and losing at table football. We would like to recommend going to Monflanquin for the medieval festival on the 16th August.
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. Very nice accommodation. Host is very friendly. Maison Joigneaux is a perfect place to stay when visiting the region. We couldn't have wished for a better place to spend our extended weekend with friends.

Beautiful house - a real hidden gem in hills of Myan Sartu. Nice located, easy accessible, safe, comfortable and convenient especially for families with children. The owner is a very responsible and attentive host. Our slightest problems were solved instantly without ruining our plans for the day. Special mention should be made of the breathtaking view from the terrace and the great opportunities for children's leisure. The house is just overflowing with different toys and board games. Our family was so happy to spend our holidays here and will definitely come back again.
