Many thanks for arranging our rental of Le Chambarru in Blauzac, it is a tremendous house and we had a very good holiday with our friends from the USA. We enjoyed meeting the owners.
We had a superb 11 day stay in Fitou. Everything was as expected when we arrived - the property has everything you would expect and more when travelling with young children - in our case a 10 month old as well as 2½ year old twins. The car beds were a huge hit with the twins! The village of Fitou is also really nice - there are over 10 wines caves selling high quality local Fitou. There are also some excellent restaurants - would recommend Vidals if you are taking the kids. Outside of Fitou, Perpignan, Narbonne and Carcassonne are all realistic day trip options and the resort of Leucate is also good for a more traditional seaside ambience.
We had a great week in a particularly nice house in a great location. Was very quick on our texts. If we get the chance, we will definitely go back to this special place.
We’ve had such a fabulous week in this beautiful farmhouse. It’s very difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool, tennis court and, for some of us, the gym. The location – we thoroughly enjoyed the markets, Chinon and the woods – as well as the beautiful piano and luxuries of the house, have made this a truly memorable week for us with our grown-up children and their friends. Thank you all.
I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Rusty Shears with friends. The hosts Kirstie and Russell have thought of everything and are on hand if you need anything at all. Beautiful decor, spacious living area and bedrooms. Comfortable beds and powerful showers. The patio and outdoor area is also lovely with great views across surrounding land. The gite is in a lovely peaceful location, but close to historic towns if you like to explore. We also went on a fantastic local wine tasting experience recommended by Russell.
We have had a fabulous time at Villa Baleyssagues. The house itself is beautiful, just as advertised but in reality far much better and exceeded our expectations. We have spend mots days by the pool and in the pool, having experienced great weather, taking full advantage of the equipment and facilities available to us at the Villa. The surroundings and grounds are stunning providing us a relaxing and peaceful . We are very sad to be leaving after a very memorable and enjoyable holiday. We will definitely looking to book an other holiday here as soon as we can.
Heatwaves, lizards, buzzards, owls, thunderstorms, bakery, wine, wine, wine and cheese. Fabulous house beautifully converted, so French, so homely. We do not want to leave. We're staying. Many thanks. PS Walnuts were marvellous.

A lovely five weeks with nice warm weather. We had several guests from family and friends and everyone was very impressed by the house and garden and the extra advantage of having everything (shops, attractions) nearby. Lovely house and garden and pool.
An old building in a somewhat isolated place where there is a desired tranquility and calm. A house decorated with great taste! A sunny swimming pool from morning to evening ideal for relaxing and sunbathing with just a corner of shade where you can relax and enjoy. Discreet, pleasant hosts who take great care of their guests!
We are back home after a really lovely family holiday at Maison Semoussac. The weather was mixed (the rain needed of course) but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. The children loved running down the track leaving little carrots in the hope of seeing hares and picking blackberries which were plentiful. The children's toys and books were wonderful and (surprisingly for their age) they loved playing Monopoly! Marian cooked us a couple of delicious meals too. Thank you so much.
In the middle of the vineyards in the countryside is this wonderful house, with a heated pool and a whirlpool. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to indulge in culinary delights. Within a very short time (25 minutes) you can reach the beaches of Vias and Valras. Large cities such as Béziers can be reached in 15 minutes. The hosts were very friendly and we really appreciated the communication to learn a little more about the area and the people. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stop by again soon.
We loved the location and house. Very large and comfortable with nice dining area and amazing pool, well secured with electric cover. Very calm area. Lots of things to do and discover. We will come back again.

We enjoyed the beautiful nature, the lovely places nearby and the refreshing pool/ The house is very well equipped and has a the most amazing view! We have had a fantastic holiday here! The pool was great as was the weather. The house was great as well and was very comfy. The garden was amazing, we practically lived outside. Overall we really loved our stay here and will definitely recommend this holiday to our friends and family.

We had a fabulous holiday at La Distillerie - the most beautiful gite we have stayed in, and a perfect setting in which to enjoy the French countryside. The property is beautifully decorated throughout, immaculately clean and well equipped with everything you may need. Mark and Gary are amazing hosts and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived, thanks to their friendly welcome and warm hospitality throughout our stay. We were looking for a peaceful and relaxing break, and La Distillerie suited us perfectly. The pool, patio and garden areas are wonderful, with fantastic views across the open countryside. There are also lovely villages to visit within an easy driving distance. A big thank you to Mark and Gary for making our first visit so special, and we look forward to returning!
Lovely quiet gîtes with beautiful views over the wine fields. Close to Uzès, a very pretty historical market town (20 min. by car). The gîtes provide everything you need, i.e. comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, cosy sitting room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a swimming pool with lounge beds and our gîte (L'Oliveraie) even had a small private pool. The area is great for walk through the woods and over the wine field. There are restaurants in the area that are a short drive away. We had a great and relaxing time and will definitely be back!
We have spent two wonderful weeks at the villa. We have spent lots of time in the fantastic pool. We have been to the nearby villages: Agde, Pézenas, Carcassonne, Limoux, Sète, all worth a visit. Many thanks to the owner.
What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. Thank you so much for the most amazing weeks stay in Piglet Barn. We honestly had the best time, a perfect family holiday. Thank you for being the most welcoming, warm and charming hosts, you looked after us so well. Thank you for drinks in your home, it was so much fun. We are going to miss our walks around Vouvant and morning coffee in the village. Thank you again so much for being the most amazing hosts, it was a holiday we will never forget. This house has everything you are looking for as a family wanting peace and quiet while also indulging in your own pool. The host, has set up her house for the ease of her visitors meaning you can just walk in and feel at home. We asked for cleaning half way through our stay that was completed while we were out on a trip. The location. Seillans is a beautiful historic picture post card village on the side of a hill. It is quiet but has many restaurants that are of high calibre all set against fountains and under large trees. Further afield there are other villages to visit and plenty of shops/restaurants to keep you fed and watered. We visited Cannes as this is only about 50 minutes by car and it is a beautiful place with its beach. Thanks for a wonderful and memorable holiday.
My family stayed here and we could not fault a single thing, everything was as described in the bio, people staying here are in for a real treat this is a great place to stay.
I'm going to preface this review by saying our extended family have hired a number of châteaux over the years, so we have something to make comparisons with! Without doubt this château offered the best value for money we have ever enjoyed. Our party of 18 used all the 10 bedrooms on offer, without anyone having to compromise on bedroom space. The kitchen was large enough to cater for the entire party with plenty of worktop space and a large island unit. Refreshingly there are plenty of cooking utensils and professional sized pans etc. There are three fridges, we used the large stand alone fridge for food,= and the two under counter fridges for 'adults' and kids drinks. The lounge diner is huge and comfortable, with good quality games available, including chess and backgammon. The pool is among the largest we've ever enjoyed with a deep end you can actually dive into. At points we had a dozen people in the pool and still had room to swim around. There are two main terraces, both easily able to accommodate at least 20 people. Smaller seating areas are dotted around the grounds so if inclined you can take yourself off for a bit of peace and quiet. There is a new and very good quality BBQ on the rear terrace with a moving charcoal tray which means you can raise the heat source as charcoal burns away. We were able to BBQ for 18 on half a bag of lump wood. Our party had 5 cars, the driveway was large enough for them to be parked so that everyone could drive out of the château without the need to move another vehicle. Saving the best to last, the sports hall/games room is magnificent. With a full sized badminton court, a basket ball hoop, 2 table tennis tables, table football, a darts board,= and a full sized pool table our whole party had plenty of activities to choose from. This facility was constantly used for weeklong knockout completions including our own decathlon type event. Modesty prevents me revealing who the best pool player was. From our perspective, this vast array of facilities and activities provided the perfect ingredients for our first ever holiday where children needed no entertaining at all. Finally a place they can truly entertain themselves.
The house was great, very clean and incredibly maintained Nothing to say, everything was perfect.
