Great house, wonderful weather, lovely city. We loved the pool, the bike ride along the Canal du Midi, we enjoyed having space in a rented house. The decoration of the house is very well done and we feel very relaxed now.
Thank you for the opportunity to have another wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Everything has just been perfect! Came prepared this year with my 'adult basic piano lessons' and loved the chance to try and play again. Not so sure it was as pleasable for those listening! Thanks to Frederic and Natasha for all they do to make the 2 weeks go so smoothly.
Enjoyed a lovely short break but just as the weather broke down. However, the cottage is a gem that the owners have restored to a very high standard. Pool and sauna are excellent and the views are gorgeous. Close enough to some quaint villages with all amenities in easy reach. The cottage and surrounding area is very peaceful and just what we were looking for. The owner was super responsive to our few queries.
We’re so glad we found Le Bastion. It’s a great spot to stay. We enjoyed our week of golf very much.
Many thanks for a wonderful week, we have so enjoyed this lovely house and the beautiful area around it, we wish we had more than a week to see more of what we wanted, we enjoyed the circular walk through the mixed pine forest, it’s very pretty and only 2 km long. We loved l Auberge du petit bistro in Vinsobres (a 2/3 minute drive), this was our favourite eating experience, while Vaison la Romain was lovely to visit. Many thanks for bringing us to all these wonderful experiences.
Lovely house in an ideal situation. We had a wonderful time doing a little exploring but mainly lying by the beautiful pool. It's an ideal design to sit in and cool off. Two minutes walk for croissants in the morning and Rose wine in the afternoon - the Supermarket! We agree its a 5 / 5.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house, beside the river. Everything really comfortable and close to lots of things to do. We had a lovely day in Bordeaux visiting the fantastic cathedral and the great shops. Sadly, we are going home tomorrow but will remember our visit fondly.
We stayed here for 1 week, 6 children and 8 adults. We had a great stay, the children loved the pool and what a special house.

Fabulous house accommodating everyone in comfort, superb location and fantastic views. The family particularly enjoyed the warm pool and al fresco dining. Lorraine who greeted us was super friendly and helpful, responding quickly when we had questions. Highly recommend this property

Carole and Jean-Luc have created a wonderful tranquil home. It is easily the best equipped we have ever rented - for instance the kitchen is lacking nothing at all! It's in a great location and within a short drive of local attractions (eg Grasse, Mons, Callian etc.) as well as within a short distance of the Riviera. Our hosts were very helpful when we sought advice and we hope one day that we will be able to return.
Thank you for a lovely stay. The house is so comfortable and a great base to explore the region from. Highlights were Dinan, Le Mont-Saint-Michel and Faugères. We also loved driving through the countryside. The boulangerie in Bazouges-la-Pérouse was fantastic! We loved the welcome basket - it was such a thoughtful + helpful gift. The experience and memories will stay with you. Luxury these days is ostentatious and expensive. If you are bored of gimmicks, the look at me photos, and shows of flamboyance and want to return to a time when it meant doing something rare, something magical and getting great pleasure then this is it. As a workaholic, I was only meant to stay a few days but I cancelled my trip to Rome without any sense of guilt. You know when something is special. The grandness of the chateau hits you as you drive through woods to its door. It is a huge palace but when you walk into the kitchen you instantly feel at ease, a sense of calm and belonging as if you have always lived here. The vastness means you can go hide but also easily fall into one of many rooms to join in the chatter and the laughter; the odd glass in hand. The ambience makes you appreciate spending time with friends and loved ones. This is not an escape. It is a return to reality. To nature, to walks in the woods, to scrabbling up steep hilly banks to find Roman ruins. An adult returning to childhood freedom. Losing yourself into another world. All the bedrooms have their own individual character. I slept in the Venetian Room. I know nice sheets but these were really nice sheets. I slid into sleep every night. Everything is top quality but you don’t need an engineering degree to turn on the shower. It is so pleasantly gadget free. Let’s face it, every luxury hotel, every luxury spa, every special Swedish cream; it’s all the same bought from the same store, boring and instantly forgettable. But this is simplicity, beauty and elegance.

We were so impressed with the quality of this home with a high contemporary finish in every room. The kitchen and lounge dinner opens onto an exquisite terrace with far reaching views and ideal for outdoor dinning . Loved the pool area with private patio. This is in the centre of a charming village with all amenities. The unspoilt coastline is stunning and to think it's under an hour from the airport. We would strongly recommend this home and we can't wait to return. Did we forget to mention it's also exceptional value for money.
What a truly incredible place to stay. The owners were so welcoming and could not do enough for us during our stay when needed. The château and grounds relax you immediately when you arrive. There is so much space and every facility you need. This venue is a must for your holiday.

We've enjoyed visiting the beach, Béziers, Montpellier and the local villages. We very much enjoyed cycling around the local area in the sun. We've had some excellent meals 'at Presso' and loved the swimming pool. We can't thank you enough for being such a great host and providing such a superb villa. I'm sure we'll return.
We had a pleasure of spending three days at La Petite Maison Générille and the biggest dissatisfaction with our stay is that it was just too short! La Petite Maison Générille is one of those rare places where you could see yourself easily spending an entire summer. We are definitely coming back! Where do I start... first of all, the place is immaculately clean and well-stocked: there was literally nothing that we needed and it wasn't available (and trust me we are very picky when it comes to holiday rentals). The kitchen has everything a family of four could possibly need; there are lots of wonderful new fluffy towels; the mattresses are comfortable and pillows are perfect; shower pressure was better than at our home. There's a big clean heated pool and a terrace with the most picturesque view that you just want to frame in your memory forever... And of course - the wonderful hosts! they know the area and set us up for a brilliant three-day programme that only whetted our appetites for coming back to Dordogne again and again. Thank you VERY much for a fabulous holiday! Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.
