Very beautiful house, secluded and quiet. Very relaxing stay with friends. Recommended!
We stayed at your villa in Pézenas for a week in September and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday there.
This was a lovely relaxing week for Clive and myself and our two doggies. Thank you Richard and Meryl for being so welcoming and helpful. Also thank you for all the goodies you left in the gîte including treats for the dogs - very thoughtful Everything in the house was immaculate and to such a high standard. We spent a lot of our time visiting many of the local villages for lunch. We would particularly recommend the Auberge at Bardigues and Hotel d'horologic at Auvillar - very nice!
Just wanted to say thank you for a lovely stay at château Perigord. Everything was great…a remarkable property beautifully done in gorgeous countryside. We had a wonderful time!
We have stayed in many French farmhouses over the years, the whole family agree that Le Malardier is the best by far. We have had a fabulous holiday. The youngsters have enjoyed the pool and working on their tans. We’ve all loved the opportunity to sit and watch the wild life and the beautiful landscape. Although it has been incredibly hot the house is wonderfully cool. We would love to come back!
This year again, I would like to return at the house. This place embodies the very essence of a welcoming home for friends, so far from impersonal rentals devoid of warmth. At home, we immediately feel a warm atmosphere, imbued with your exquisite taste and the place's true soul. Every year, you have wonderful surprises in store for us: a new room furnished with unparalleled care and originality, a garden that is transformed, a vegetable garden that offers us seasonal vegetables of exceptional quality. And what can we say about the memorable adventures we experienced, as well as the breathtaking view of Provence and the majestic Pont du Gard during our breakfasts. Thanks to you, this place is transformed into a real family home. We are already starting to count the days that separate us from our next stay. See you soon.
Just like to thank you for a perfect stay at Maison Gagnerie where we found the house very comfortable and equipped with everything for a wonderful holiday. House and gardens were lovely and pool was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us.
So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. We adored our stay at this charming renovated farmhouse, with views to keep in our memory forever. This house truly suited our family with our two sons, partners and grandchildren. The kitchen was excellent and overall the house had every facility we would look for, the pool and table tennis rooms were regularly in the daily family tournaments, that took place. Sitting outside at the covered dining table for breakfast and evening meals was a great pleasure daily. The swimming pool has sun for the majority of the day so keeps a good temperature for swimming and the steps enabled our grandson to build his water confidence. The Thursday market in Nyons is excellent and Vaison le romaine is full of history. Les Marquises is one of our favourite holiday experiences, great location and great house.
On a family weekend, everyone was charmed and delighted by Sue's house. Very large, comfortable and nicely decorated house with a beautiful garden and swimming pool, ideally located on the banks of the Canal du Midi. Sue is very friendly and welcoming. We recommend and will return for a relaxing weekend.

Mas de Clouze is a stunning, peaceful place! We had an amazing family holiday, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. We loved exploring the grounds and lounging by the pool, and eating on the patio and in the bar area was a real treat. There’s plenty to do around the gite, too - great walks, pétanque, table tennis and of course the heated swimming pool.
It was our second stay here. The house is great et the children love the swimming pool. The house is beautiful and clean. We had a great holiday. Thank you so much and see you soon!
We booked Château Bellevue with the view of using it as a base for our golf trip. Prior to that we had no real experience of the Basque Country before and in the end played less golf that originally planned as there was so much to do and see! We were extremely lucky to be there during the Fete de Bayonne festival where the entire city turns into an open air party. On a foodie note, we generally enjoyed the many Basque restaurants and in particular the harbour fish restaurants in Biarritz and St Jean de Luz. The local golf courses were very varied but the highlight had to be the challenging Golf d’Biarritz with breathtaking terrain across the edges of the cliff edge with thrilling views of the coastline.
We had such a wonderful time at Château Périgord and Jean-Marie made our time there even more enjoyable. I do hope we can return one day as a family and hopefully with slightly warmer weather! Many thanks again for such a wonderful stay at your beautiful home.

What a joy! We had such an amazing week at your fantastic house! We loved the house, the garden and the pool! The weather was perfect. We had a wonderful evening at ‘Poquelin’ and we had dinner at several of the restaurants recommended. (Chez Leo!!) Golf at Cháteau les Merles, what a beautiful place. We would love to come back.

We found this property last year, returned this year and have already booked to come back again next year. That must say it all.
Absolutely stunning. We visited the house last summer and had an absolutely amazing time. The house is stunning with views over to Grasse and down toward Cannes. As a family of 5 (children 8, 5 and 12 months), it had everything we needed including a god sized pool and the interiors of the house are beautiful. It is a short drive to the local supermarket and amenities and only 20 minutes drive to the beaches of Cannes and Antibes. Nearby Mougins and Grasse provide an abundance of restaurants. A car is a must as the house is accessed up a steep road but views are spectacular. We can't wait to visit again this summer.
It's a fantastic place to stay. A lovely host and excellent food. Very worthwhile. We enjoyed.

We have had the most wonderful time in your lovely house, it feels incredibly homely and I can see why it is your pride and joy.
A totally unique experience staying in a tower with a wonderful panorama view of the sea. You can spend hours sitting on the balcony, watching the tide go in and out and the ships coming into La Havre in the distance. At night when the tide is in, the sound of the sea is fantastic and almost feels like you are sleeping on the beach. The tower itself is nicely decorated, clean and kitted out with everything you might need for a holiday. The furniture and fittings are intelligently laid out to maximise the space at all levels so it doesn't feel cramped. Villerville itself was a charming, quiet seaside town with a few bistros and shops, perfect for escaping the usual hoards of tourists elsewhere on the Normandy coast. Definitely worthy of 4.5 star rating and only reasons for not getting 5 stars are lack of free parking on site (although plenty on the side streets behind the tower) and some evenings when the tide is out you get the occasional teenagers listening to music on the sea front until late at night.
We had a very good stay at La Ferme Éclaircie which met all our expectations. We were very grateful for the initial supplies ( tea, coffee, wine , orange juice, loo paper etc ) which make a huge difference. The information pack - which was really useful. The maps. And the house was delightfully furnished and well supplied. We loved the area.
The countryside and views are stunning. Total relaxations and happy memories to take back to Dublin.
