A beautiful stay in a breathtaking house perfectly suited for our family. From the amazing pool room to the entertaining pool.
One of the loveliest and peaceful lodgings of my two week 1000+km driving tour of South Western France. La Petite Maison Générille is nestled in verdant hills overlooking the most beautiful natural and historical settings in all of France. Though it is located in a hamlet enclave that feels worlds away, it is so conveniently located to access many châteaux, stunning river drives with views of the "falaises" - the ancient cliffs, and numerous restaurants found in charming villages that won't disappoint! Alll within a 10 to 20 minute drive. This is a place that you will want to return to again and again!
We had an excellent stay in this beautiful house, charming and perfectly equipped. The swimming pool is very pleasant, the rooms to live and the rooms offer a very comfortable atmosphere. We were won over.
Just a quick note to let you know we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orchard Farmhouse.
Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) had a fabulous time exploring Sarlat and the Dordogne from this terrific base. The house is perfectly located and the pool is a godsend after a full day of sightseeing. I would highly recommend this property only then it will be harder for us to book again.
Very beautiful house in Périgord. The house is sublime. A perfect blend of rustic, tradition and modern comfort. Wonderfully restored. And 5 bathrooms for 5 bedrooms is rare. Huge fireplace, perfect for a week at Christmas. Very well equipped. And Florence greeted us with kindness and is very responsive to questions and requests.
We had a lovely week at Maison Charvin, enjoying tranquility in the beautiful courtyard garden and excursions to Carcassonne and Lagrasse. The house is a wonderful place to stay and very well equipped. We have wanted for nothing. Very many thanks.

We stayed a week during very hot weather so the sparkling pool was used daily. Thonac is close to several other delightful towns and villages and the local hotel outdoor restaurant is fun, with good food. The cottage is very well equipped with an inviting garden area. This was altogether a perfect spot for our holiday.
We have spent two wonderful weeks at the villa. We have spent lots of time in the fantastic pool. We have been to the nearby villages: Agde, Pézenas, Carcassonne, Limoux, Sète, all worth a visit. Many thanks to the owner.
Thank you for a wonderfully stay at a truly gorgeous villa. We had a really fabulous time and we definitely hope to be back. The weather has been splendid and the swimming pool was absolutely stunning. It lived up to everyone's expectations, in fact it exceeded them.
The highlights for me were swimming lengths in the warm pool, strolling around the beautiful garden with all the different types of trees (olive, fig, pomegranate etc) and exploring the delightful surrounding Provence countryside in its full glory. Despite being a large group of people, the house always felt cool and spacious and the amenities functioned perfectly. There is also a marvellous restaurant within walking distance. Thank you again for making my holiday so enjoyable.
I just wanted to write and say how much we enjoyed our 2 weeks at Les Granels. The house and facilities exceeded all of our expectations. We have also been delighted with the service we received from Pure France, every query was answered promptly and efficiently.
We have spent an enjoyable fortnight here in Bessan. The house was comfortable and peaceful. The weather has been beautiful during our whole stay, unlike it is in the UK! Loved the location and the winding lane down to the property. Arrived to find a hidden and very private garden that was wonderfully lit at night and with a beautiful pool. Total silence and never saw or heard another person in the week we were there. If you’re looking for a quiet week away from the hassles of a hectic world, then this is the place for you!
Wonderful House - fantastically equipped! We really appreciated the fans in the hot weather! The games room was superb - hardly saw the kids all week! Your recommendations in the purple pages were great. A very tasty trip to Royan for some seafood. Sitting on the terrace, looking over the views was beautiful.

A beautiful house, fully equipped with EVERYTHING you could ever need or think of! The pool area is just brilliant and we all enjoyed spending the majority of our stay here underwater. A luxurious spot with the most beautiful heated pool and views to the Mediterranean. The pool and its view absolutely makes this property. It is absolutely spotless, heated to a perfect 30 degrees and is an infinity pool which adds to the luxurious feel. There is a diving board and a fun water slide and there are foam pool loungers available too. The terrace is also beautiful with plenty of sunbeds and seating and a table for meals. Inside the property is spacious with some interesting antiques and the bedrooms are air conditioned, which is lovely even though there is plenty of shade on hot days anyway. The car can be parked right next to the villa for ease of carrying luggage and supermarket shopping etc. All in all Les Fumerates feels like a slice of paradise, peaceful and calm and difficult to tear yourself away from despite the easy proximity of the coast. The pool is the star attraction, always lovely to swim in even in late evening and with a slide, diving board and floating loungers if wanted. The terrace and pool are lit at night and the calm, luxurious atmosphere makes it almost impossible to leave despite its proximity to some lovely places to visit!
