Had an amazing holiday. The villa could not have been better. Had everything we needed including free Wi-Fi and access to English TV. The pool was great and heated so we could go in it all the time. The area was lovely. Food was brilliant and overall we have a really lovely holiday and would definitely come back to the villa.
Very good place to stay. Very good place to stay with a fantastic view of the lake. Good accessibility to lake and location(bakery "Le Fournil de mon Pere" highly recommended)
Wow! What a fabulous week we had! Such a beautiful area to explore and the house and pool were beautiful. There is so much to do. I'm sure we'll be back for more adventures, hopefully. We loved everything, especially the pool :)
A beautiful property in a nice quiet location but still close to many interesting places to visit. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable and there was a lovely covered eating area outside. We also really loved the pool. We especially enjoyed canoeing on the Dordogne and visiting Domme and Le Jardin Marqueyssac. We also left something behind which Victoire kindly sent on to us.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It is full of character and style. The scent of flowers and wonderful pool made the garden the place we spent the most time. Many thanks to you for being so hospitable and responsive. We took your advice for many of our day trips. We wish you every success in the future.

We have had a wonderful time at your villa, whilst the UK shivered and got rained on, we have been exploring the locality. The villa was everything it claimed to be and much more, our best choice so far in Languedoc. A wonderful holiday!
A wonderful stay at Domaine du Peyrayey! We were able to enjoy this haven of peace and tranquility nestled in nature. Tennis, swimming, and evenings spent watching the sunset punctuated our stay in the Bordeaux region. Of course, Bordeaux wouldn't be complete without a visit to some of the vineyards surrounding the estate and its surrounding area, as well as a trip to the Arcachon Basin. In short, an excellent way to recharge with my partner and some friends who came to visit us. A huge thank you to Natalie, her husband, and Gloria for their warm welcome at the estate!
Wonderful. Just got back from a fabulous stay at this villa. We were the first guests post corona shutdown and I was worried we were not going to be able to fly but Michael was great and reassuring that we would have a full refund if that happened. Really good contact throughout. The pool is just stunning and we spent many hours enjoying the water, especially as we filled it up with inflatables! The villa is clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Air conditioning meant for a great nights sleep. Very hospitable hosts and all in all a lovely place to relax in. Big supermarket only 15 minutess drive away so we could stock up easily. We would stay here again.
There were 6 of us, (3 couples) from USA who stayed a week in October at Château des Dragons. Laurence and Marian were absolutely wonderful hosts. They are warm and welcoming and made sure that everything in the château was comfortable. They arranged a wonderful wine tour and were so helpful in answering any questions that we had about the surrounding area. One can easily walk to the nearby village or take a hike in the surrounding farm country and woods. We would definitely return to the lovely Château des Dragons.

A beautiful stay in a breathtaking house perfectly suited for our family. From the amazing pool room to the entertaining pool.
We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very nice, bright, very well equipped. The large terrace overlooking the small harbour and the sea is at the top, with the sound of cicadas. The living space is very bright and pleasant to live in. The kitchen is very well equipped. Local shops, including a large Giant Casino, are accessible by car, on Beaulieu, 5 minutes by car. Even if access to the station and bus is quite simple, prefer the car... or the boat, because the port is at the bottom of the building.
The photos and description did not disappoint! What a gorgeous get-away - secluded and peaceful, beautiful and well-laid out / well-equipped. We loved it and hope to return soon!

Thank you for being the most welcoming, warm and charming hosts, you looked after us so well. Thank you for drinks in your home, it was so much fun. Spectacular. We have rented vacation villas for most of our married life, that is for almost fifty years. That should make us experienced rentors. In the mean time, our family has grown and, if we get them all together, we are a party of twelve. This is our first year in Maison Sebastien, just outside St. Michel l’Obeservatoire on the outskirts of the Luberon and by a long stretch it is the most suitable villa that we have ever rented. The setting of the house is spectacular and very private. It has been modernised in a most tasteful way, fitting the ancient building and the rural Provençal environment. We found the house spotlessly clean, and the caretaker, who lives on the grounds could not have been more helpful. He also takes care daily of the super swimming pool and is ready with advice and information. He has a wealth of knowledge about the house, its history and the area. The kitchen equipment is first class and there is enough of everything to accommodate a dozen people without having to wash dishes or glasses in the middle of a three course meal. The house reflects the love and good taste that has gone in to the renovation and decoration. All of our family have enjoyed it to the fullest and we already long to be back.
Villa Funel was in a lovely position being very private with glimpses of surrounds. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and well furnished with everything you could need and more (much better than some previous villas we have rented!). The pool was a good size, gorgeous, nice to swim after sightseeing. I would thoroughly recommend this villa to either a couple or a family.
Enchanted to be at this preserved place and especially to meet our two hosts who made sure our stay was a success.
A wonderful place, where we can’t think of any way to improve. Really a big 10 The house is spacious and fully furnished ( you don’t miss anything, especially not in the kitchen!) The pool is super and the surroundings beautiful, you can relax completely there. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
It is true what the other reviews have mentioned - the photos do not do it justice - the accommodation is huge and the living area is simply gorgeous. The location is perfect, completely silent and peaceful, yet not too far from the boulangerie, activities and local towns. Debbie and Rupert were so welcoming, we immediately felt at home. There was no problem too small and Debbie helped us to book local activities and dinners out. It was the break we had needed for so long, thank you so much.

Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! Thank you for a truly fabulous week at Mas de Clouze. The accommodation, pool and grounds were just perfect and the owners so friendly and helpful. We didn’t want to return home and will be back next year.
A more tranquil spot in France you will not find. The house has 360-degree views across stunning French countryside that rolls and undulates towards a backdrop of the Pyrenees. It feels like you're a million miles from the stresses and strains of modern life, another world and yet within 20 minutes drive you can be in a huge supermarket that will cater for all your needs. The house itself is incredibly comfortable, with all mod cons. It sleeps 14 people in great comfort, including in two well-appointed cottages in the grounds. And yet it retains its cosy feel. Some days we lazed by the pool and ate our meals on one of the terraces, other days – when it was cooler - we lit the fire and settled in. It's genuinely as comfy inside as it is outside, which is not always the case in French holiday lets. Our young children were in heaven. When not swimming or playing tennis, they roamed the five acres of immaculately kept grounds, building camps, rowing on the small lake. There's snooker croquet and table tennis too, if it's wet. And then of course there is the party room. Set well away from the grown-up bedrooms, the party room has a bar, DJ–quality speaker system and a proper disco – glitter ball, lights and all. Incredible fun. You really won't want to leave the château and grounds at all – it's a self-contained little hill-top world - but if you do have itchy feet then there are lots of walks nearby, or you can visit one of the many beautiful French towns nearby (Mirepoix market is a must). I cannot wait to return.
We had a wonderful stay at Le Manoir des Sines. It is the most beautiful property in a lovely part of France.
