What a wonderful break away!! Mark and Gary have created a perfect haven…the attention to detail both internally and externally is amazing. Beautiful decor and art in the gite and a stunning pool area surrounded by nature and birdsong- it’s so restorative and peaceful. From the minute you arrive you feel looked after with the luxurious welcome hamper, cocktail on arrival and local artisan soaps and moisturisers throughout the gite. Would highly recommend and will be back!
Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.
What a truly incredible place to stay. The owners were so welcoming and could not do enough for us during our stay when needed. The château and grounds relax you immediately when you arrive. There is so much space and every facility you need. This venue is a must for your holiday.

This beautifully maintained property is less than two hours outside of Paris. We never wanted to leave the grounds, there is everything to keep the kids happy: miles to run, pool, tennis and playhouse. We adults lazed all day by the pool while the children run happy and wild on the enclosed grounds. The owner gave us wonderful recommendations for off the beaten path wine tastings. Make sure she shows you the mill across the stream where they make the best croissants and bread. The layout of the château allows for several families to enjoy a vacation together, while maintaining peaceful, private moments. Best family vacation ever.
Beautifully converted and furnished house with two lovely gîtes, a swimming pool and terraces. The wide views over the vineyards are unprecedented. The owners again make something very beautiful !!!

We had a very good week of vacation with 2 families. The villa is superb, well equipped and maintained. The heated swimming pool is really a plus, the children really enjoyed it. The owners, who live nearby, are friendly and available. We will return with great pleasure if the opportunity arises. We are strongly recommend this rental.
We love the design and build of the house and have enjoyed our stay here with our family enormously. The pool has provided a great deal of fun for all and there is so much opportunity for relaxation and enjoying all the local produce!

This is an updated and more comprehensive review of our stay in June at the wonderful Maison des Cordeliers in Sarlat. After a very long journey down to Sarlat from Calais via Orleans through some frankly biblical rain storms, it was a relief to arrive at such a welcoming home! The house was very cosy and had all the home comforts you would want. The beds were super comfortable (that's saying something from a fussy bed person) and there was plenty of storage for luggage. Kitchen and living area were again stocked with all you needed and the satellite TV was a bonus for the Euros! As the weather improved, we spent a lot of time round the lovely pool or when it got too hot the veranda was a welcome spot to get some shade and relax with a book. The air con was also massively appreciated! We had never stayed in this part of France before, normally heading to Provence or the Côte d'Azur, but the town did not disappoint. Beautiful medieval architecture, fabulous markets and lovely shops and restaurants. Sarlat is a real wonder and the fact it's an easy 5 minute stroll from the house is such a bonus. I can honestly say we had a wonderful, relaxing, break at Maison des Cordeliers and would be delighted to stay again the next time we find ourselves in the Dordogne.
We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight. The listing and reviews stated the house was comfy and well equipped, well I can totally vouch for that. We wanted for nothing. Beds are very comfy, the outdoor area is outstanding. Everything you could want is to hand. One, if not the best pool we've ever used and Martyn keeps it spotless everyday. The owners are on hand if needed or not. The village is excellent, a short walk with a restaurant. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. I just wanted to feed back what a lovely time we had in the villa a couple of weeks ago. The holiday was well worth waiting for and the villa delivered on all levels. We were certainly very grateful for the pool to cool off from the sweltering 40c heat and the lovely shaded areas surrounding the pool helped too. Most importantly, our mums had a lovely time. They were each able to have an ensuite bathroom which gave them their own space and privacy and thoroughly enjoyed the pool - even enjoying a splash about with an inflatable dolphin at one stage! (not bad for an 80 year old!) Please pass on our grateful thanks to the owners for allowing us the extra day for free and also allowing our early arrival which made things much easier on the Saturday. The Mums were already in the pool by the time we got back from the supermarket on the Saturday morning. A great success all round, excellent service from Pure France during all the covid changes and a wonderful villa too. Thank you
