The villa is stunning. The views are incredible. I stayed in the double room on the ground floor, next to the bathroom. A lovely large room, with French doors onto the terrace, a great place to watch the sunsets. Towels are good quality from John Lewis! The upstairs bedroom has a lovely bathroom and stunning views from the private balcony. Just beautiful. Taking breakfast under the olive tree was a delight. The pool is a very good size and very deep. It was very well maintained with a cover. The surrounding pool area is very spacious, with substantial sunbeds and a great barbecue spot. The gardens are beautiful, there's a petanque area, endless olive trees and lovely flower beds in front of the villa. The kitchen is well equipped, although we ate most of the time and a laundry room. A lovely villa in a beautiful part of France. Very relaxing. A great find.
Beautiful château, very comfortable for a large group of mixed ages. Fantastic for children and adults alike. Lovely pool and trampoline was well used. Appreciated the DVDs and TV access. Brilliant choice of catering and all delicious. Perfect service, thank you.
A beautiful fun filled 7 days in this amazing house. Thank you. Equipped for all 8 of us. Kids swam everyday, favourite game of the week. Dads throwing balls high/low/long and making the biggest splash. Parents enjoying evening games of scrabble over a few too many. Lots of towns and markets visited. We plan to back back to make even more memories. Thank you.

Perfect for large families Amazing property, well equipped for large groups and space for all to spend time together or escape each other! Great pool and pool area. Great having so many bedrooms and bathrooms when holidaying with extended family and lots of kids! Wonderful manager on hand to answer any questions and offer recommendations. Will definitely return!

Just a brief note to say a big thank you for letting us use the property for 2 weeks. The house is very well kitted out with lots of information on hand. During this week we visited Gordes and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The area is gorgeous and we will be back.
A magnificent, relaxing setting where we enjoyed beautiful days. There is no shortage of space, there is something for everyone... If you appreciate the authentic charm of old homes, this rental will satisfy you.
We had to wait a long time for our much anticipated return visit to your wonderful villa - and it did not disappoint. We have had the best time, Sophia enjoyed the pool (as we all did). Great place to explore this fabulous area, a boat trip to Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud plus two beaches. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us. Mas Saint-Martial has everything you could wish for included in the price and everything was clean and tidy on our arrival with a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. Verteillac is only 10 minutes away and has some lovely little shops and the local area has excellent markets also. One of the best restaurants we found was Le Cours de Miracles in Verteillac which has beautiful food at a very reasonable price. We received a really warm welcome from the owners, who live next door. They were always on hand if we needed anything, but very discreet also and gave us total privacy.
An exceptional house in an exceptional setting. We were able to stay a week in this house in so many different ways, as a family, as a couple with friends and this house allows to enjoy life! Take the time to enjoy the superb cuisine, professional level equipment, with and without a caterer, you will appreciate the heart of the house. A large piece of land that can be shared around the house for different activities, a superb seating area with views on the Rhone, a welcoming corner around a round table and its tennis court not far away. The land extends to offer a short walk, allowing digestive walks following the big banquets in the reception house where a large sofa, retro projector and bar await you! Perfect tranquility and very comfortable bedding, enough to spend an exceptional stay where rest and pleasure are the key words of our experience.
We just wanted to tell you that we really enjoyed the stay in your wonderful house. You have thought of everything to make it so nice and our daughter said that she had come to paradise... All the people that we met; Alan and Cathy, the pool and garden guys and the cleaning ladies were all so nice and helpful. Real assets! And the Rosé in the fridge... This was a very welcome gesture that we enjoyed after the long drive down. Thank you again for sharing your lovely house with us.

We have stayed in many French farmhouses over the years, the whole family agree that Le Malardier is the best by far. We have had a fabulous holiday. The youngsters have enjoyed the pool and working on their tans. We’ve all loved the opportunity to sit and watch the wild life and the beautiful landscape. Although it has been incredibly hot the house is wonderfully cool. We would love to come back!
The space, the history and beauty of the surroundings. The swimming pool. The range of children's toys. The bedroom arrangements in the house that was perfect for 4 families. Maps and leaflets of things to do in the locality. The fans in rooms upstairs etc etc. In all we are sad to leave!
a wonderful treat to spend summer half term in the incomparable Le Grand Mas de Valcros. A house that really has every luxury and comfort with the most insane views.
