Thank you so much for our lovely relaxing stay in your home. We have waited a couple of years due to covid and our boys (and ourselves) really enjoyed our stay. You made us feel so welcome and we have very muh enjoyed spending time in your garden watching regular visitors like woodpeckers, buzzards and barn owls, etc. We are already planning to come back and promise to visit more of the region. Thank you for your kind hospitality and it was lovely to meet your visiting family. If we could take the pool and the hammock home with us, we would! Thanks again.
The house is magnificent and lends itself to perfect moments of sharing. Its cozy side, its very complete equipment invite us to enjoy every moment. The rooms offer independence and great comfort. The whole family loved it. The view is magnificent at any time and the terrace becomes a pure joy with the first ray of sunshine. The surroundings have nothing to envy of Tuscany and this gentle way of life! Sandie and David were very friendly and met all our expectations. We will come back with pleasure.
This is a spacious, stylish house perfect for families, friends and couples in the heart of pretty Vezenobres located within an easy hour of mountains, rivers, gorgeous markets, Roman towns with their summer festivals and even the Mediterranean. The house itself is so lovely both in and out - you will no doubt be back again and again!
We all had a very enjoyable 2 weeks in La Montade, the villa was very well equipped and a beautiful setting. The weather was also brilliant!

Beautiful setting, fantastic space. Well kept both inside and out. Facilities were fantastic. Great pool - child friendly and garden toys were a perfect addition too. Lovely family holiday enjoyed by all ages.
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. Fabulous week learning about wine in an amazing setting. Manoir Lemance is the most wonderful, tranquil and stylish place I have stayed in France and I have stayed in many. The owners have taken great care and attention in restoring the beautiful buildings, choosing the internal furnishings and creating the amazing swimming pool and grounds. We were warmly welcomed and looked after really well all week. The local area is full of amazing villages, great vineyards and beautiful countryside. If you are looking for a very French holiday with the added support of English speaking hosts, in the most beautiful setting, then this is the place for you.
Wow! You have a piece of perfection right here! I've been so relaxed during 2 weeks here. The pool has been my solace along with the hot sunshine. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a lovely place with lots of lovely shops and fantastic markets. Thank you for letting us stay. I hope to return.
We absolutely loved our stay at Château Des Grillauds. It was the pinnacle of our European vacation this summer. This property is full of character, well equipped and comfortable with lots of bedrooms and space. We loved the location with very good local markets almost every day and it is within an hour of Bordeaux and notable vineyards as well as being very central in the Dordogne district. Our kids loved the pool which was heated and kept at 30 °C. We would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you so much.
What a week at Château Richelieu, where we were fortunate enough to get married in front of 90 of our closest friends and family! To say it was an amazing experience and venue would almost be doing it a dis-service! It's hard to put down in words just how perfect our big day was at Château Richelieu. It would be very difficult to beat as a venue for a wedding and we would not have had our day anywhere else in the world. Our hosts could not have done any more for us. The support before, during and after the wedding has been above and beyond. Honestly, cannot recommend Château Richelieu highly enough and we will definitely be returning with friends / family for another visit.
Your house is lovely and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable week. I think I can safely say that in all the years of hiring holiday accommodation in France we have not stayed in such a well appointed and well equipped property. My recent stay at this charming villa in Duras this summer, was nothing short of exceptional. Accommodation: This lovely and very comfortable villa has a rustic charm and a very tasteful decor. Our rooms were cozy and spacious, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Whether we were lounging along the swimming pool, in the beautifully landscaped garden, or sipping Rosé on the terrace as the sun set over the vineyards, or cooking in a very pleasant and well equipped kitchen, every moment felt like a blissful escape. The attention to detail in every aspect of the villa created an ambiance of warmth and relaxation that was truly unparalleled. Location: The village and the castle of Duras are simply enchanting. Everything is at a waking distance and Duras offers a lot of fun activities : visit of the castle, genuinely impressive medieval jousts., light and sounds spectacles explaining the long and fascinating history of the region projected on the walls of the castle, group hikes in nature, tastings of local (and delicious) food. At night, the village organizes concerts where dancing is more than encouraged! And the traditional open air market is a wonderful experience. There was always something new and fun to discover. I cannot recommend this beautiful gem highly enough and look forward to returning again this summer!

Maison Bourg Calès is most definitely a five-star property. It is a beautiful property, both inside and outside, beautifully clean and fully equipped with everything you could possible need for a wonderful holiday. We also really appreciated the extra touches - the bottle of own label wine that awaited us, the basket full of towels for the pool and the store cupboard of kitchen essentials. We loved the saltwater pool. We would happily recommend it to anyone wishing to holiday in the Dordogne and looking for a well-located, high quality property.
What a stunning place... couldn't fault. Peaceful yet close to village and 10 minute drive for supermarkets. Pool area is just perfect.. plenty of shade if you need it... or lay out in the summer sun. Everything and more that you need for a fantastic holiday.

We already came a few years ago. Nothing much has changed within this walls, around Duras or within France. Frédéric as helpful as ever. The perennial aide. Our stay at Le Mas de Combet was fantastic. We had a warm welcome at our arrival, the house is perfectly situated in the countryside. It is very quiet with a very nice view on forests and fields. The swimming pool is big and clean and although the weather wasn’t very hot, the pool was perfect. Our host has given us ideas and indications about what to do in the area and has cared about us during the stay, offering his help and assistance, even with fresh bread! We definitely recommend this house and would love to stay there again, whenever possible!

We has the most amazing time at Domaine du Château! The pictures do not do the beautiful property justice, on site and surrounding areas very well kept and very quintessential, especially views during afternoon pool time! Each room is very comfortable and luxuriously appointed. Great thought went into unique details of each room and space and privacy for a large group. The best part of the whole experience was the wonderful staff, who produced incredible meals for us and made sure that our every need was met. It was a vacation that we will not soon forget. Wonderful stay and would recommend this property to anyone who wanted to immerse into the French wine country.
We have had a lovely spent in this beautiful villa. We all felt very relaxed. The pool was very welcoming especially as it was such a hot week. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed the night markets in Duras and Monsegur. Would recommend the Terrasse restaurant in Duras. Thank you Frédéric for being so helpful.

Driving down the lane to Maison Bourriette, you know you are on holiday. The farmhouse, set in lovely grounds with views over the countryside, is charming, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. There are markets, hilltop villages and beautiful country walks on the doorstep to explore and then a wonderful warm pool to really unwind! Evenings relaxing by lamplight in the stunning courtyard with wine and friends - memories are made of this!
We’ve just returned from a marvellous fortnight at Maison Charvin. Having been annual visitors to France for rather more years than I now care to remember I can honestly say this is one of the best houses we’ve stayed in. As well as being full of French character and ideally located for exploring the delights of Carcassonne and the surrounding area, the house itself is absolutely immaculate with so many thoughtful touches – from two lovely bottles of wine to welcome us to a first aid kit in the bathroom and a sewing kit in the kitchen drawer. And as for the kitchen, well, it’s a cook’s dream. Our youngest daughter is an avid cook and she was delighted to be surrounded by every utensil she could think of including decent kitchen knives. The courtyard garden is beautiful – the jasmine and oleander were in bloom while we were staying and the fragrance in the evenings was beautiful! The pool, meanwhile, was well loved and well used by everyone. Montlaur itself is very pretty. We loved the market and live music on Tuesday evenings – a great jazz band played the first week and a fabulous blues band the second. Vins de Dagne was lovely for supper and Aurelian, the owner was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable when it came to recommendations for wine. History lovers will appreciate the rich Cathar history of the wider region and a visit to Lagrasse, just down the road, is a must. And last, but not least, Sharon, the owner, is just lovely. So friendly and ready to help with anything at the drop of a hat. All in all, a wonderful two weeks and I do hope we can return.
Our week in your beautiful home has gone far too quickly. We have really enjoyed the era and explored Uzes and its restaurants. There is still so much to do and we hope to be back. Many thanks for your welcome and discreet hospitality. The tortoises were a great distraction!
