A dream come true! Your house is truly lovely, and I congratulate you on the light airy way in which you have furnished it, with a Provencal flair. The kitchen was so charming, particularly well arranged and well stocked; opening up the table with the additional leaf, we had our breakfasts there, and it was always a delightful way to start the day. The pool was a great hit, and the enclosure provided us with the necessary feeling of it being safe for the three little ones. Again I congratulate you, for this area is very well designed and laid out. However, it is the terrace outside that was my favourite part of the property, we had a series of fabulous dinners, and I shall remember it always with great joy... especially the moment I stepped out of the car to approach the house, and taking in the lawn, the roses and olive trees, and the marvellous backdrop of the vista before me, I entered the covered terrace and smiled... for it was a dream come true! My heart flutters to remember it now!
Another fantastic stay for the Hill family. Everything you could wish for and worth listening to the daily countdown from the grandchildren since we booked. Only problem is 2 weeks is not enough!
Lovely house, lovely location in an excellent location to enable us to revisit our favorite places in the area. Best restaurant for miles is La Maison in Tourbes. Many thanks.
Remarkable location and situation. Nothing short of the 'wow' factor inside and out. We spent most of the time at the house or in the Médiéval village- too beautiful to venture far! The house and grounds are stunning, great architectural design. Extremeley well equipped. Lots of space for just the 2 of us but planning on coming back again and share with friends. Thanks, fab!

Best villa we have stayed in during 10 years of staying in France for holidays. Extremely well-equipped, great setting and fantastic views.
Our stay at La Valentine has been an absolute pleasure. A warm welcome from pierre and Claire set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Food at the local village square pizzeria was excellent with friendly locals and staff. Trips into Cassis were great fun including trips to the beaches there and hiring a board from behind the tourist info office. Food at the yacht club was lovely and a bit more relaxed than the bustle of the town. All in all a memorable stay.
We had a very good stay at La Ferme Éclaircie which met all our expectations. We were very grateful for the initial supplies ( tea, coffee, wine , orange juice, loo paper etc ) which make a huge difference. The information pack - which was really useful. The maps. And the house was delightfully furnished and well supplied. We loved the area.
We had a wonderful time in this lovely château with a great pool and a wonderful garden. Highly recommended. We loved our stay with you and thank you again.
We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. Thank you so much.
The owner has welcome us warmly. Her open plan house is very nice. The pool is very large and we can really swim. For families the house is handy and there are pool toys and balloons. We have spent an enjoyable week at the property.
We’ve had an amazing time with beautiful weather and an amazing pool to cool down in! The location is perfect to get around and do some sightseeing. We recommend Perigueux, Brantome and market day in Riberac. Your house is one we won’t forget.
It is beautiful and absolutely perfect for our needs. We also loved the village and the restaurant. We have stayed in some lovely houses in France but yours is definitely the best. We will be in touch when we next head to France!

We are finally home and now reflecting on happy memories of our wonderful holiday in France and particularly our 10 nights spent here. Where do we begin to ever thank you for all that you did and for making our holiday so special. We felt like we had our own personal butler looking after us throughout our stay. Even prior to our arrival we welcomed the emails, the ease of booking and then promptly replying to any query that we had , as well as the phone call to offer help and support the week before we were scheduled to arrive. We really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies and all the other little things that you had thoughtfully put in the fridge, making our arrival into the gîte a very warm and welcome one. Your 'blood, sweat and tears' have truly paid off as we could see the attention to detail that has gone in to making this a luxury gîte for your guests. We noticed the quality of furnishings and fittings, bed linen, sumptuous soft towels and then separate towels laid out for us by the pool, all of which made for an exciting stay ahead! The beds were extremely comfortable and accompanied by the peace and tranquility at night meant we both woke each morning feeling fully refreshed! We particularly enjoyed our time spent around the swimming pool and also using the outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Everything was spotlessly clean and we know that you ensured the pool area was cleaned down for us every morning. We were blessed with good weather too. The views from the terrace were stunning and we never tired from sitting there overlooking the local Cuzorn area and the valley beyond. It was a pleasure getting to know you and hearing about your journey from Essex to Lot-et-Garonne. For us, as first guests it was a privilege staying at Lasserre and we will be talking about you and our holiday for years to come. I equally hope that for you and Kate your first guests did not let you down and we have left a wonderful impression on you too! We sincerely hope that you are rewarded for the fruits of your labour and whilst we would like you to have a busy season, just secretly we would like to keep this little bit of heaven purely for us!
We had an amazing stay here in Narbonne! The photos you see are beautiful but the house is even better in person. It was so comfortable, beautiful decor, thoughtful touches (like throw blankets, baskets for market, plenty of closet space with extra hangers, extensive kitchen equipment, more...), gorgeous lighting and cozy/high quality bedding (so important when travelling). We felt so at home and enjoyed our down time while in the house! The sunroom was our sanctuary during our stay... our reading room while there... the natural light is so perfect with the back sliding window open and the breeze coming in! Heaven!
Beautiful views, a lovely relaxing villa. We have really enjoyed the stay here. Minerve was worth a visit (town and caves), and the children really enjoyed it. The activities at the Carcassonne lake near Carcassonne.
We have had a wonderful time in your very beautiful house! 2 weeks have gone by much to fast and we are sad to be leaving. Although the weather was not very sunny the last few days we swam every day. The pool is great and we will miss it. We visited Minerve, Carcassonne, Béziers, Narbonne and Lagrasse. Croissants every morning from the van at 10am, delicious! Love the decor and everything in the house, vintage design and you have great style. Hope to be back someday soon.
Thanks for an amazing holiday – just the break that we needed. A lovely property with everything you could need. Make sure you visit the market at L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue on Sunday morning – the best market by far, but be prepared for the crowds! If you are feeling adventurous, kayaking on the Dordogne was fab, if a long way (1.5 hours). Book through Get Your Guide – very easy. Hope to see Florence again.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We have enjoyed every second. There is such a relaxed and calm atmosphere at Maison Four à Chaux! Perfect, We've been spoilt. We've enjoyed dining in all the areas around the house, especially the pool house! We would recommend a visit to Rochefort and Cognac. The park in Saint-Savinien is great for little ones. Boat rider, inflatables and picnics. Thank you for the gifts on our arrival... Yvonne has been a perfect host... great advice and support. Thank you so much.
We all enjoyed the stay at the villa. We liked the location - both in Lezignan and the fact that it is close to Pézenas and easy to get to other locations (we went to Carcassonne; Montpellier, Millau etc) Thanks you for making the bicycle available and the table football! It was also nice to have a pool - although we only used that once. A lot of useful information was also provided in the villa. We liked the fact that you contacted us personally - it offered us reassurance prior to our trip - thanks for your help. All in all we enjoyed our stay and if in the area would visit the villa again. We had a wonderful stay at Manoir de Fouilloux, my retired parents and children aged 8 and 11 had a truly relaxing stay with plenty to see and do locally. The house had plenty of space inside and lots of different areas outside to eat and relax. In particular we enjoyed spending time outside in the Moroccan terrace and kitchen and especially the evening when Ian and Hugh cooked for us when we took advantage of this as an extra option. Ian and Hugh were super helpful informing us of the local area which suited all ages so there was plenty to do for everyone. I would recommend hiring a car to explore the beautiful villages. The pool was well used in such hot weather with plenty of space for us all to relax and read as well as splash about with the children. The area was lovely and quiet so we were all able to switch off and spend quality time together as a family, plus with Ian and Hugh nearby we felt we had our own personal concierge service! They also provide a very useful guide which is in the house and also sent before our arrival. There has been so much attention to detail carried out in and outside the house and Ian and Hugh were fantastic with our many questions we had as we loved hearing about the work that went into it. We absolutely loved our time there and our 8 year old is now asking for a dog the same as Oscar! Thank you to Ian and Hugh for giving us such a memorable holiday, we felt truly spoilt staying in such a beautiful and well refurbished traditional house and can't wait to return one day!
We have been coming to the south of France for over 20 years and Maison Theron was the best we have stayed in. The decor, furnishings and bedding were such good quality, we felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel! The local housekeeper did an amazing job as the house was spotless when we arrived. Thank you so much we will definitely be back!

Manoir Gascon is an amazing house in a lovely location. Having visited a fair number of houses in France over a nearly 20 year period it ranks right at the top. The owners were a delightful contact for any concerns and most welcoming. Of course they come from the best part of the world! Delightful!
I just wanted to say thank you – we had a wonderful time staying a le Mas de Pitou – it was by far the most perfect place we have stayed in France in over 10 years! The location and setting were ideal, we had some lovely walks straight from the door and the special touch of your fantastic welcome basket of fruit and vegetables was gorgeous!
