We've had the most fabulous holiday in this beautiful house. The owner made us feel very welcome and even brought down some of her toys for our kids to play with (very kind - thank you). The weather has been great and every day has been spent eating outside and playing around the pool. Visited markets in Castillon-la-Bataille which was very good. Also went for a day out to Saint-Emilion, which was lovely. The owner has done a super job restoring
One of the best family holidays we have had, spacious King sized beds. A truly amazing space with all the creature comforts of a high end home.
Our stay here has been most enjoyable. The villa is very comfortable and a pleasant mixture of modern and antique décor. The pool has been used every day, even though the weather has become a little cooler at the end of September. Bessan is well situated for visiting lots of interesting places. This house has everything you are looking for as a family wanting peace and quiet while also indulging in your own pool. The host, has set up her house for the ease of her visitors meaning you can just walk in and feel at home. We asked for cleaning half way through our stay that was completed while we were out on a trip. The location. Seillans is a beautiful historic picture post card village on the side of a hill. It is quiet but has many restaurants that are of high calibre all set against fountains and under large trees. Further afield there are other villages to visit and plenty of shops/restaurants to keep you fed and watered. We visited Cannes as this is only about 50 minutes by car and it is a beautiful place with its beach. Thanks for a wonderful and memorable holiday.
Excellent, at all levels. We were 11 adults and 3 children and we had a wonderful stay. The location is ideal, isolated and quiet. The house is very well equipped (we particularly appreciated the presence of pool towels). The outdoor space and the equipment allowed us to fully enjoy real moments of relaxation. Sam is a very responsive host, ready to answer any questions. In summary, we highly recommend and thank Sam for his impeccable welcome!

We feel so incredibly lucky to have found your wonderful gîte. It has been the perfect place to relax and enjoy our belated honeymoon. The space is beautiful and not only met but exceeded our expectations. It really felt like a home away from home as we wanted for nothing, every little detail had been thought of. Wonderful place. Wonderful place for our family in a quiet village with a perfect little shop, and fantastic for walking, biking, and visiting so many lovely places. and the "chateau" is an awesome place, inside and outside. come and see.
We, grandparents, parents and our little daughter, spent two fantastic weeks in this wonderful villa in Fréjus. The villa offers plenty of room for a bigger family. You can find everything you need for a pleasant stay. It's fully furnished. lovely decorated and well appointed with kitchenware and with everything you might need. There is a lushy, well maintained garden with a swimming pool and plenty of sunbeds. We loved our stay there with the beautiful view over Fréjus to the sea. We can recommend this villa to everyone looking for a peaceful, quite summer vacation. The owners are as well extremely friendly and helpful.
Fantastic week. It was a real pleasure to go outdoors. We really liked le Graud d'Agde, St Guillem Le Desert and Collioure, the Hacienda in Pézenas and the market nearby, the excellent Violis on the beach. There is everything for a good holiday near the property.
We have had a wonderful couple of weeks in Sarlat. Sarlat and the surrounding area has so much to offer. We enjoyed the local markets, a trip to Chateau Der Milandes and of course canoeing down the Dordogne river. The location of the house is amazing, just a few minutes walk into the centre. With the first week of our stay the temperature were in the high 30s and the pool was an absolute godsend-a real highlight for us, we spent many hours just relaxing and enjoying the weather.. The house itself was great and met all of our needs for a two week holiday. Thank you Jackie for all your help answering all my messages. Will be back soon.
We had a wonderful time at your beautiful domain. We explored the region extensively, but would love to come back again to enjoy more of the peace and quiet here on your property. Thank you for our visit and everything you have done, we have been very pleased with everything. We have had a spectacular time watching the hot air balloons at sunrise and dawn. We loved playing in the pool it has been a really enjoyable summer here, so a very big thank you and we can't wait to come here with our grandparents again. We can't wait to come here next year.

Belle Vue is quite simply a wonderful place for a holiday. The house is stunning, set at the top of a valley, with views of the Dordogne River and medieval châteaux’s in the distance. I understand from the owner that the house was once his family home and this permeates the atmosphere of the place. It is a very relaxing and comfortable place to be. Equipped with everything you would expect in a holiday letting but it goes much further than that. It feels like a home, and a very tastefully furnished one at that. Between the owner, gardener and the housekeeper everything has been thought of and they all go out of their way to make the holiday special. The bedrooms are very comfortable with a luxurious en-suite in the main bedroom. All in all it is just a brilliant place to spend a holiday and in the terms of the Sarlat area we have just been captivated and cannot recommend it highly enough.
We have had the most lovely and relaxing time. The house and welcome has been brilliant, and we have to confess to not having explored enough — we were in need of a break and the house and environs were exactly what was needed. We did play a lot of tennis at the Gensac courts.

We have been coming to the south of France for over 20 years and Maison Theron was the best we have stayed in. The decor, furnishings and bedding were such good quality, we felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel! The local housekeeper did an amazing job as the house was spotless when we arrived. Thank you so much we will definitely be back!
As we leave les rocans, I must say that you have a beautiful house. We have enjoyed our stay immensely. Loved the country decor and the views. We will remember the stay there and will recommend it to our circle of friends.
We had a very nice week. We were 11 adults and the house is very large, the spacious rooms (all equipped with fans), the kitchen very well equipped: the 2 fridges are a plus when there are many of us to avoid going shopping every day, the 2 nice dishwashers too! The place is quiet, the garden nice and the pool huge! In addition, a stone's throw from the house flows La Rigole, a river bordered by a path under the trees, ideal for walking, jogging or cycling. At the end of this path, 4km away (about 40 minutes walk, in the shade) is a guinguette where we spent our last evening. Sam is very responsive and answered my questions before and during the stay in record time! We will keep a very good memory of our holiday with friends in Saint Paulet!

We had an amazing two weeks in the sun, we spent some days by the pool. You can swim and look at the stunning view of the hills in the distance. The apartment is spotless and has everything we needed at the start of our holiday. The owners can speak English which is helpful if you needed anything which we didn't. We would love to go back again.
