What a wonderful week. La Malardier is the most dreamy of places to stay. We ate top dollar food, swam in the pool in stonking sunshine, drank our fill. Amazing setting. Beautiful view. We will remember this week forever more. We would like to block book Malardier forever, until next year - viva la France.
Lovely quiet gîtes with beautiful views over the wine fields. Close to Uzès, a very pretty historical market town (20 min. by car). The gîtes provide everything you need, i.e. comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, cosy sitting room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a swimming pool with lounge beds and our gîte (L'Oliveraie) even had a small private pool. The area is great for walk through the woods and over the wine field. There are restaurants in the area that are a short drive away. We had a great and relaxing time and will definitely be back!
Beautiful château with magnificently decorated rooms and recently refurbished swimming pool. The owner gave us an unforgettable holiday.

From the warm welcome on the first day to our chats, drinks and little contacts throughout the week, you have been as much a highlight of our holiday as the wonderful home. And that is no mean feat... The Piglet Barn is immaculate throughout and has felt like our own home in this beautiful village. You and your friends around town have made us feel so welcome. We have honestly felt so privileged to have met you and we will absolutely be raving about you to friends and family when we get home.

We loved every moment of our stay. The Cottage du Jardin is pretty but so well appointed; super-clean, well equipped and charming. The pool and gardens are private and delightful. Catarina and Stephen are great hosts - nothing is too much trouble and they are just so friendly. This property is a jewel and the villages and ancient sites of the Vezere Valley make this a stunning trip.
When can we go again!? Wonderful place and great for 3 couples to stay at and relax for a few nights. In the heart of the village which had enough to do if you just want some peace and quiet.

Spending time in this lovely serene hamlet is heaven, overlooking the most calming landscaped from the house and terraces. The fully equipped kitchen is outfitted for foodies and in a setting with fantastic food markets just 15 minutes in proximity. The gardens surrounding the house are beautiful and have a fabulous pool. The is French countryside brilliance at its best.

We spent a super long week at Villa Saint-Honorat. The place, the view and the swimming pool are magnificent! I highly recommend!
We cannot say enough good things about Les Fumerates or its owners. Loved the property! Everything about the villa is well-appointed. The owners were exceptionally helpful and anxious to answer any of our questions, concerns, etc. They are both very dedicated to seeing that their guests enjoy their stay, have everything they need, etc. We will definitely be returning to the area and when we do, our first choice for rentals will be here! Thank you for a great start to our 2 weeks in France!
Maison de Saint-Jean is beautiful and very well equipped. We've had a wonderful holiday. Enjoyed the spectacular views. The pool was fab and our boys loved it!

Stayed at the property for two weeks at the end of July. The property has been beautifully renovated and most things are on hand at the villa. The house has everything that’s needed for family and friends to enjoy from a great kitchen to a nice garden and patio and good sized pool. All in all this is a beautiful house in a lovely setting and I would certainly return.
A fairytale castle set in the stunning hillsides of Saint Mézard - just amazing! Easy to get to from Toulouse, Château Mézard was a perfect home base for exploring the surrounding quaint villages offering the finest in local Gascony food and wine. Sipping Armagnac at sunset and dining by candlelight on one of the many terraces made us feel like royalty!
Such a wonderful time for all of us. Great pool, lovely lake nearby and fantastic dinner in the village. A truly memorable time.
The most perfect location for a peaceful and restorative family holiday! Children and adults alike kept entertained by the games room, toys, amazing pool ... we so appreciated how well-equipped and thoughtfully designed the house is - it became a running joke of "is there anything this house doesn't have?!"
So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week holiday in France. We cannot recommend the property highly enough. It is very well equipped, the pool always warm and cleaned daily, in a great location and Jean, Martin and of course Tanner the dog so welcoming and helpful. This was our second time and already planning when we can return!
We have had a wonderfully relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable two weeks at this beautiful gite. It has been fantastically and sensitively renovated both inside and out. The pool is an absolute joy to sit by and relax, read and take in the scenery! Also, Pete has been an excellent host, a mine of local knowledge. We enjoyed visiting Monpazier, Issigeac, Villereal and Sarlat.
This year again, I would like to return at the house. This place embodies the very essence of a welcoming home for friends, so far from impersonal rentals devoid of warmth. At home, we immediately feel a warm atmosphere, imbued with your exquisite taste and the place's true soul. Every year, you have wonderful surprises in store for us: a new room furnished with unparalleled care and originality, a garden that is transformed, a vegetable garden that offers us seasonal vegetables of exceptional quality. And what can we say about the memorable adventures we experienced, as well as the breathtaking view of Provence and the majestic Pont du Gard during our breakfasts. Thanks to you, this place is transformed into a real family home. We are already starting to count the days that separate us from our next stay. See you soon.
A fantastic week exploring the area, with the beautiful house to retreat to. The local markets have been wonderful, with lots of delicious food which has been enjoyed in the surroundings of Le Malardier. The other highlights have been visiting Aubeterre, canoeing and a trip to the Chateaux. A magnificent week.
What a fantastic spot you have created here in beautiful L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home. Our family has had such a wonderful time in this little oasis. The only difficult part of our stay has been forcing ourselves to leave the sanctuary of the house! Just back at work after two weeks at Maison Tigre and wanted to thank you for sharing your home with us – we had a fantastic time. We have been staying in France and Italy over the last ten years – varying our choice between rural isolation (for space and privacy) and village houses (for the boulangeries and café s, etc.) and I have to say that your home provides the perfect combination in a part of France where there is so much to do and see. I also really like the house itself – the great care that has gone into the development, finishing and furnishings is evident (and I like the modernist / minimalist style you have employed). All in all a brilliant holiday.
Would just like to say how much we enjoyed our stay - the accommodation was wonderful and I can't think of a single negative.
Very beautiful house in Périgord. The house is sublime. A perfect blend of rustic, tradition and modern comfort. Wonderfully restored. And 5 bathrooms for 5 bedrooms is rare. Huge fireplace, perfect for a week at Christmas. Very well equipped. And Florence greeted us with kindness and is very responsive to questions and requests.
