We have stayed in many wonderful houses in different parts of the world. Malardier is without doubt the most wonderful. Everything beautiful or useful (William Morris) mostly both. Having restored many houses ourselves we appreciate the enormous work involved. One forgets too easily the half built walls. What makes this house more special than most others is that it is a home. Every object has character and must carry a story. We were amazed at the gardens, how plants bloom in such a warm climate. We will no doubt remember different things, but all have lovely memories.
Our second time here and more amazing than ever. A beautiful home and stunning location. Superb food and atmosphere. We highly recommend it ! The town of Brantome, too - it is gorgeous ! We will be back again. - family O-H

At Les Oliviers du Sud we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!
What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. We had a lovely time at Corinne's apartment. It is very clean, had all amenities for daily living, she has thought of everything. Beautiful, peaceful location, amazing balcony to relax on. Full shutters and blinds on all windows and doors for complete privacy. It is a very calm and peaceful place to unwind and short walk to restaurants and right on the beach. Massive supermarket directly opposite which sells everything you could ever need including excellent seafood. Highly recommended.
We has the most amazing time at Domaine du Château! The pictures do not do the beautiful property justice, on site and surrounding areas very well kept and very quintessential, especially views during afternoon pool time! Each room is very comfortable and luxuriously appointed. Great thought went into unique details of each room and space and privacy for a large group. The best part of the whole experience was the wonderful staff, who produced incredible meals for us and made sure that our every need was met. It was a vacation that we will not soon forget. Wonderful stay and would recommend this property to anyone who wanted to immerse into the French wine country.
Beautiful maintained home and grounds. Excellent facilities for young families. All modern and child / baby amenities provided. Daily housekeeping was an added bonus compared to previous holiday rentals.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Périgord Castle. The castle is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The park is splendid. The countryside is very beautiful and very soothing. The pool is secured and well equipped. Perfect.
Firstly I'd like to say that we were very lucky to stay in such a beautiful villa, it was really charming ! The house manager Natalie was so kind too in helping us. She was very thoughtful and helpful. The owner was very helpful too when I needed to contact him regarding something Natalie passed on his number to me and said it was fine). They are a lovely family and again we were very lucky to have found the villa with Pure France!

We enjoyed a peaceful holiday. We visited Carcassonne, Minerve, Caunes-Minervois, Olonzac market, Cascade de Mauroul and the Tropical Butterfly Garden near Perpignan. We loved driving the small country roads, seeing the vineyards, the windmill and the marble in Caunes-Minervois. The weather was great for hiking, although sometimes very windy. The pool was a little too cold to swim every day. We loved the house and its terraces—we really felt at home. Thank you!
A truly magical week in the most magical Château – in a magical setting. Absolutely wonderful week. Everything was perfect – thank you very much to all the staff who looked after it all. We loved Belle Vue. It is a beautiful, well kept home with a spectacular location. We were a group of five: grandmother, parents and two teenage children, and we all felt at home. The pool definitely added to the experience.

Thank you for an amazing stay again. I have really enjoyed playing in the garden when it was a lovely day. On one of the days, I even went into the pool when the water was 17 degrees! Sam has become Mack's best friend!
We stayed at this beautiful place with 10 adults and one child. The house is large and magnificent with every comfort thought of. Beautifully decorated and everything of quality. The heated swimming pool was amazing. Jim was charming and helped us organise the stay and the housekeeper gave us a very warm welcome. We will definitely be coming back for future family reunions.

Had a great stay for the week. Villa was great, very spacious, pool was excellent. Excellent communication from start to finish, was greeted on arrival and Paul was on hand to help and support when needed for advice on tourism spots on what was going on around town. Great location to Béziers and Narbonne. Villa was spacious and felt like a home from home. Location in the village is really safe and quiet. I would highly recommend.
