I can't begin to tell you how wonderful this house is, with its warm inviting rooms, its wonderful outside spaces and fabulous heated pool. It is decorated in a comfortable style that makes you feel as if you are at home and not in holiday accommodation. It is extremely clean; the kitchen and bathrooms, spotless, The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of clean sheets and towels. The house is fairly large and my husband I and stayed on our own, but we felt safe and secure. Obviously, with all the space, it is ideal for families, but equally as inviting for groups of friends. Situated in a small village, it is quiet - you can hear the church bells ringing in the local church. We loved to walk around the village and through the fields behind the house. We did think about going on a bike ride but decided just to sit by the pool most afternoons. It is an easy drive to Saint-Émilion (and other local vineyards) - my husband managed to find it without getting us lost! The drive from the airport probably took us about 40 minutes. Isabelle gave us wonderful direction - she speaks perfect English. In a word - wonderful!
What a gorgeous retreat from city life! We booked three weeks at the house and enjoyed every minute of it. The outside kitchen is fantastic, it felt like we had our own private restaurant. The pool was perfect for our three children and the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains are stunning. Alexandra was easily contactable in case of any queries or issues. All in all, highly recommended!
I'd like to thank you for the fantastic stay we had in your amazing cottage Maison Bourg Calès. It was simply beautiful and my family and I absolutely loved every second of our stay. The weather was brilliant and there aren't enough words to describe how stunning your cottage is. We would definitely stay there again and will highly recommend it to any friends. Once more thank you so much for making our holiday so memorable.
The villa was larger than we thought and very private. It contains everything you could need, want and more.
We spent a week at Villa Valente. We liked it so much, that we would love to return next year.

Beautiful and large residence decorated with care composed of a house equipped with 2 living rooms, a large fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms and as many bathrooms upstairs. A gîte outside with 3 bedrooms and living room, a magnificent convivial room with table tennis, billiards, fully equipped bar and home cinema. Mark, despite the distance, is very responsive and sympathetic. One of his friends came to make sure, the day after our arrival, that we were properly installed. The house is well placed to visit the surrounding villages: Bergerac, Issigeac, Boucle de la Nette, Château de Biron, Villareal ... To be redone in the summer to take advantage of the majestic swimming pool! We STRONGLY recommend!
This is certainly the most tranquil villa I have ever stayed in. The pool and garden are quite lovely. Very hard to pull ourselves away. The area is wonderful. Finally I understand why so many people relocate to the Languedoc-Roussillon.
A wonderful stay at Domaine du Peyrayey! We were able to enjoy this haven of peace and tranquility nestled in nature. Tennis, swimming, and evenings spent watching the sunset punctuated our stay in the Bordeaux region. Of course, Bordeaux wouldn't be complete without a visit to some of the vineyards surrounding the estate and its surrounding area, as well as a trip to the Arcachon Basin. In short, an excellent way to recharge with my partner and some friends who came to visit us. A huge thank you to Natalie, her husband, and Gloria for their warm welcome at the estate!

You were so welcoming and helpful with all your tips and recommendations and we very much enjoyed your company too. First of all, the house was everything we hoped it would be. The facilities inside were excellent and the air conditioning a huge plus especially at night time. The back garden area is superb and met all needs whether you wanted sun, shade, pool, cooking, dining. The area itself has so many varying attractions to meet all needs and ages. Some highlights for us were kayaking in Saint Guilhem de Desert, canyoning in the Gorges d'Heric and this was brilliant. Lazy beach days in Sète and Marseillan, visiting the vineyards at Seignourie de Peyrat (just out the Roujan road) and chill out days by the pool. Pèzenas is a wonderful town and the market on Saturday is a must and favourite restaurants were La Ripalle and Chez Paul. Excellent holiday and the house and its location facilitated this. Thanks.
David and Natalie were great hosts. It was easy to communicate with them, it was easy to communicate and they had really thought of everything we needed to have a pleasant stay. I must say that the garden and the pool have exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back and recommend the house to others.

We loved staying in your beautiful home. The facilities, garden, decor and views were stunning. Frederic has looked after us so well. We have taken long country walks, visited local villages and markets. We went to Les Eyzies for tones of incredible caves including Rouffignac. We enjoyed a peaceful holiday. We visited Carcassonne, Minerve, Caunes-Minervois, Olonzac market, Cascade de Mauroul and the Tropical Butterfly Garden near Perpignan. We loved driving the small country roads, seeing the vineyards, the windmill and the marble in Caunes-Minervois. The weather was great for hiking, although sometimes very windy. The pool was a little too cold to swim every day. We loved the house and its terraces—we really felt at home. Thank you!
