Comfortable. Well equipped château. Spacious. Well tended grounds. Stunning pool area, very inviting! All really good. Comfortable sitting area. Well organised roomy playroom being a real bonus. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. Helpful at all times and unobtrusive. Huge bonus having the daily housekeeping service as well as shopping service. Breathtaking. What a hidden gem! All the fotos of Château Velouse do not do the place justice. From the minute you enter the gates and see this magnificent château, glowing in the sunshine at the end of a sweeping drive, you know you are in for a treat. Our wonderful hosts. Claire and Phil greeted us and gave us a tour of the main building and grounds. The interior is exquisitely appointed. All the rooms are large and meticulously clean. The bedrooms are huge and comfortable without being over-fussy. The bathroom - lion clawed bath and walk-in shower - what more could you ask for after a hard day sitting beside the spotlessly clean and well-maintained outdoor pool. There's plenty of places within an hour to explore close by, so if sun-worshipping isn't your thing, like me, go to Bourges and wander around this medieval city, All in all, Château Velouse is an experience I'll never forget and one I hope to revisit
We have had a fabulous week. Weather brilliant. Amazing house, pool, views, olive grove. Perfect. Thank you very much for our wonderful stay in your beautiful villa. We particularly the swimming pool to cool down. We really enjoyed the surrounding scenery in which we star gazed in every evening. We really liked the films and games upstairs in the evening. We liked the trampoline and table tennis were awesome. Thank you.
Beautiful property with the most magnificent view. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Everything was there that you could possibly need. Pool was perfect. Lovely walk to next village cross country to a little restaurant is well worth doing. Takes about 45 minutes. Truly beautiful scenery around the house like being in a Van Gogh painting! We would definitely go back.

We had an excellent stay in this magnificent house where everything has been thought out so that young and old can make the most of the holidays. We were a group of 3 couples and 4 children and each got enough space and privacy. The house is very beautiful, well decorated and pleasant to live in. The garden is very beautiful and the pool area is perfect! The barn converted into a games room was also very popular (especially since the sun was not there). The kitchen is fully equipped. In short, we highly recommend this rental!

Main highlights include, hanging around the house, Mount Ventoux for go carting and tubing etc, watching the Tour de France at Grignan, Nyons for great markets and music in the evenings, les Barons perches Nyons for high ropes and Vaison la romaine.

Beautiful property in a beautiful tranquil setting. Close to Gordes, but not overlooked. Amenities are good and pool perfect. Only slight issue for some might be need to go through one bedroom to get to next; and stairs step. But for us... perfect.

Your house is lovely and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable week. I think I can safely say that in all the years of hiring holiday accommodation in France we have not stayed in such a well appointed and well equipped property. We are now back at home and I wanted to send you my most sincere thanks for your welcome at Maison de Saint-Jean. Your house is magnificent. It combines the charm of an old farmhouse with the comfort of modern and stylish equipment. There were 6 of us but the house can accommodate 8 people. It is especially the exteriors that we adored. Even though the weather was not very comfortable this summer, we enjoyed the very large garden, the endless view and the heated swimming pool. We will definitely come back because the region is still worth a few detours and your house is the perfect base for visiting it. See you soon.
We had a great holiday at Maison D'Aze, this is certainly one of the best houses we have stayed in over the numerous years we have holidayed in France and we will certainly be looking to book the property for future holidays.

I loved staying in this lovely house. The garden was my favourite part of it. I did enjoy having a dip in the pool. I'm glad to say I am satisfied with my stay.
We have returned again as promised and, despite the worst weather we have experienced in France in over 20 years, we had a lovely time. Even indoors there were still plenty of things to do in the sheltered area to sit and play card games, or challenge each other to a game of table tennis in the barn. A very comfortable and well-equipped house. Thank you for your kind hospitality and we hope to return again soon!
Maison de Saint-Jean is beautiful and very well equipped. We've had a wonderful holiday. Enjoyed the spectacular views. The pool was fab and our boys loved it!
A fantastic stay in a beautiful villa! Whilst parts of France may lay dormant, this region has tons of activities to offer Canoeing, walking tours of picturesque Pezanas, renting bikes at Lac du Saligou and if you're slightly odd a cracking gym 'area gym' just down the road.
Thanks for having us. We've loved the games room and pool. Carcassonne was a delight and beautiful. We hope we can come back soon.
