The most beautiful house, with stunning views, starry nights and hooting owls - what bliss! We were so lucky to find this little piece of heaven and the sun came out too! Happy days en famille! What holidays are made for.
Would give 10 stars if I could- wonderful stay. The house was so clean and well prepared for us. Felt luxury rustic. There was great detail put into the design. Easy communication with the owner. Great location down a picturesque street and easy to get in and out of Gordes town. Would definitely stay here again.
The renovation has been completed to an exceptionally high standard, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The property is incredibly well equipped, everything has been thoughtfully provided and it is spotlessly clean. The pool was a perfect place to cool down and our children loved spending hours in it. The peaceful surroundings made for an incredibly relaxing week.Danielle was a fantastic host, warm, welcoming and always happy to help.The nearby village of Castelfranc is a short drive away, with a small bakery, perfect for picking up fresh bread and pastries every morning.This was a truly unforgettable stay, in a fabulous barn, in a beautiful part of France. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful high-quality getaway.

We had a blast at your villa. Such a beautiful house! It was all above expectations! The pictures of your house do not reflect the beauty of it in real life. My husband and I loved the master room at the pool, such a great and relaxing space and decorated with so many good taste. Same applies to the other rooms, they were all very comfortable with good beds and lovely to see that the house is all decorated in Provence style. All the rooms were occupied by our 3 young adult sons and my mother, but we had not the feeling to bump into each other, there are so many areas to isolate. The pleasures were also in the small details, you have foreseen everything to have the perfect stay, from the sweetest bed linen to the lovely table service, with more than enough plates, salad bowls, the colorful pool towels, the very beautiful and well-maintained garden, etc, etc. The kitchen was also a pleasure to cook in, everything we needed was present. We brought our own kitchen knives from home as we love to cook, but even that was present :-)We were also positively surprised by the quality of the service included with the villa, everything was of a high standard. Thank you so much! There are so many ugly rental houses in France but yours is definitely not!

The place is lovely and very well furnished. As someone else said in your guest book, your house offers almost everything we were hoping for in our holiday in France. A large, well-appointees home with fantastic views and a cool fairly deep pool, proximity to a nice town where supplies are aplenty; vineyards in the surroundings and even a couple of michelin-starred restaurants nearby.

Thank you both for the most wonderful stay at your beautiful villa. We’ve had the most incredible week exploring the South of France – an area we love – and discovering new places. This spot is extremely special and we’ve relished the relaxing days and evenings spent here (made even more special by the sighting of a wild boar with babies and your marvellous set up for the gorgeous cats) – thank you for showing us this! The secluded spot, surrounded by woodland, an aromatic and fragrant garden attracting many butterflies, a beautiful pool and terrace area is somewhere we won’t forget and would love to come back to. Everything has been thought of at this place which makes it so homely. Everything from kitchen utensils and supplies to the BBQ, bowls and the TV set-up – the place has it all. You have both been such friendly and discrete hosts, allowing us such privacy and the personality you have stamped on the place (from plants, to artwork and sculptures as well as the lovely cats) makes this space so full of character too. Thanks again and we wish you both the best – hopefully we’ll return in the future!

Stunning villa with great managers. They pay great attention to detail and took care of every issue. Villa had lots of extras from record player to wine fridge, inflatables for the pool, road access to pool so we could easily get groceries to top kitchen. Loved it!
Thank you to Pure France for the prompt, polite and easy booking process, to the owners of Manoir Coutenson for allowing us to rent the property and also to David, the property manager who greeted us on arrival and was so helpful. Our family of 15 (aged between 1 - 64) have just enjoyed a fabulous week at this wonderful property. It is the most well equipped place we have ever stayed and all the extra touches (including small children's toys and books) ensured a relaxed and easy break for the whole family. We would unreservedly recommend the Manoir to any family group. Thanks again.

a wonderful treat to spend summer half term in the incomparable Le Grand Mas de Valcros. A house that really has every luxury and comfort with the most insane views. 5 stars are simply not sufficient when it comes to a review of this outstanding gite. A truly fabulous week starting with a warm welcome (and delicious cognac cocktail) from Mark and Gary and then the luxurious surroundings which we adored, 7 days of absolute luxury and a credit to the wonderful hosts who made our stay that extra bit special. Attention to detail is exemplary, everything you could possibly need is provided (from whisked milk for the perfect coffee and an air fryer to the hairdryers and divine smelling body wash and in the waterfall showers). The welcome hamper was a delight and Mark and Gary were the perfect hosts with excellent recommendations for dinner (Le Boule D’Or and Les Droles were excellent) and places to visit. Everything is utterly spotless (including the pool and terrace which were meticulously cleaned each day) and the beds are like sleeping in the clouds. The welcoming scent throughout is something we’ll remember at home thanks to a visit to Aubeterre to Savon Garde. We cannot fault this incredible haven of tranquility and luxury and are already planning a return visit. Thank you Mark and Gary for transforming La Charmante Distillerie to such an outstanding holiday destination, and for your hospitality from start to finish.
Château Chante L'Oiseau is the epitome of rustic French countryside living. It is an absolutely charming property with well appointed and comfortable rooms for restful sleep and mutiple reception rooms for relaxing and entertaining in. Its extensive grounds offer a plethora of activities to enterain both young and old. This is our favourite spot for a sojourn with friends and family.
This is our last night staying at Les Jumelles and we are all sad to be leaving your wonderful house and garden. We only have good memories of our stay and you have made us feel extremely relaxed during the last two weeks. The weather has been perfect for lots of fun spent in the swimming pool and whilst also enjoying your fantastic garden.
My husband and I have just spent a fabulous two weeks in this gorgeous property. It's all very modern, spacious and well equipped. The pool has been a particular highlight. As an active, retired couple this property, and its location, has been ideal. Danielle, the owner, was brilliant at suggesting places to visit and to eat out. We particularly enjoyed Belaye, Les Arques, Cazals (l’Evidence) and Prayssac for the market and our morning coffees. As we were here during a heatwave we were very glad to have so much space inside and the ceiling fans were much appreciated. As were Danielle’s regular supply of figs from the garden – delicious! Thank you Danielle for making us feel so welcome here and for helping us to make the most of our holiday. We hope to return again in the future. Definitely 5 stars from us!
This lovely rural farmhouse provided plenty of space for our extended family of 6 adults and 3 children (aged 13 and 4) to spend a relaxing week in a more peaceful area of the Dordogne. The pool was a huge hit with adults and children alike whilst the many outside areas allowed space for both sun or shade throughout the day. In addition to games described there are lots of toys for younger children including a new sandpit which ‘appeared’ whilst we were there. Would recommend.
We stayed at Villa Gecko in Collioure from June 13th to 20th of this year. We were delighted with the experience and wanted to share that. The owner gave us a very warm welcome. The villa is magnificent—ideally located, very comfortable, and extremely well-equipped (pool, Jacuzzi, air conditioning, etc.). The kitchen's layout and equipment even gave us some ideas for our own home. In short, it was a wonderful experience; I would recommend it to anyone wishing to discover this beautiful region. Thank you for a wonderful stay in oyur villa, Philippe. The perfect place for 70th birthday celebrations/family reunion. The pool is so well set up for relaxing, socialising and being able to keep an eye on the kids. After a week in the pool, our daughter was able to swim independently by the end! Thank you for your warm and friendly hosting: the welcome cheese, breakfast pastries, brilliant meal at La Tour de Montady, fabulous wine tasting at Saint-Chinian - it has all been so memorable and made the trip that much better. Other highlights have been many bike rides through the vines, a trip to Chichoulet Beach, discovering the butcher and pâtissière in Cazouls-les-Béziers and enjoying the local produce by the pool every evening.
We will be sure to recommend this French maison with so much character and charm to all our family and friends in Australia and England. We've had a marvelous time.
