We have had a wonderfully relaxing week in an idyllic location - thank you very much. C'est magnifique.
The most enjoyable part of France. The most enjoyable stay in “luxe” villa. Highlights: fresh veg from Duras market on Monday. eating out at Eymet, almost any restaurant will do, but particular favourites are Cour d’Eymet and Château les Vigiers. watching the red kites hunting over the fields in the evening . The lizards and the geko on the patio. All in all a memorable experience.
a wonderful treat to spend summer half term in the incomparable Le Grand Mas de Valcros. A house that really has every luxury and comfort with the most insane views. Endless pool-time, boules tournaments, visits to bastide towns and a trip to the sea - all missions that were completed with happy smiles. A million thanks for letting us share your home.
Like the previous years, the two weeks at the villa have been wonderful! The house is wonderful, the pool and the closeness to the sea are great. We will certainly be back again.
Beautiful, very well kept and maintained. Amazing for kids Stunning pool and poolside, children's toy room was perfect for boys and girls, a great range of toys. All extra bedding, baby products etc; great. Fab daily service, friendly. Great local advice. Very easy, relaxing process. You both have a lovely manner with all guests which made the stay very enjoyable.

Superb accommodation in a fabulous location! We had a wonderful stay - the Gite was just perfect for us. Peaceful with lots of outdoor space and a lovely pool. The Gite is very well equipped and furnished to a high standard, with everything you need for a stay away from home. Mark was very welcoming and helpful when we needed some local advice. We took advantage of Mark’s connections with a visit to an amazing local cognac/pineau distillery and rounded off the day by being cooked for in the gite by Reza Mahammad (famous chef with amazing culinary repertoire) which was made all the more special by Reza discussing with us the history and background of the dishes we were eating – what a treat! We recommend this as a great option for couples or families who want some peace and quiet whilst still being close enough to explore plenty of interesting towns cities and attractions.
What a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful gardens and a lovely pool area. We had a lovely time at the Médiéval festival in Monflanquin (very special!) Gary and his team were fantastic. Would definitely come back!
What a wonderful Loft! We love all the furniture; so lovely to have 'proper furnishings' and not sofas with throws! We loved all the 'Maisons du Monde' additions and the kitchen is great to cook in. Wonderful attention to detail, so that you really feel 'at home'. The terrace is fabulous; we loved sitting out there first thing in the morning. Thanks also for all the recommendations for the specialist wine tours - our wine trip was first rate. Your hospitality and company was excellent and we loved the trip to see 'Le Jardin Champetre' nursery - thank you. Also, the pool is so clear and wonderful to swim in.
We stayed at Maison Rohmer for a week at the beginning of September 2017. The house was delightful and the pool area very beautiful. We had a brilliant week with fantastic weather. We loved the village of Gordes so magical and magnificent. Market day on Tuesdays is a must. There is so much to see and do though I must admit we did a lot of lazy days by the pool. Things I would recommend a visit to Domaine De La Citadelle vineyard, beautiful wines and a very informative talk on how they produce. We also had a fabulous canoe trip with canoe evasion at Fontaine-de- Vaucluse. It's a must. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day.
My family stayed at La Barde for a fortnight in 2018 and we are returning with friends in 2019. The house is well set up to accommodate two families and a large number of children. The garden and grounds are particularly well maintained. The sitting room opens directly onto a lawn, which is great for supervising small children and the extended grounds offer loads of space for children to explore. The setting is quiet but easily accessible to Ribérac.
We spent two weeks here last summer with 4 adults and one child. The accommodations are first rate and the house well air conditioned. The AC was very important to us as we are accustomed to it in the hot summers and it made such a BIG difference. The pool and environment very secluded and very clean with pool service provided. We loved the outdoor terrace and spent every evening viewing the stars and morning coffees were enjoyed every day, too. Interiors lovely and kitchen we'll-equipped. We are so looking forward to staying here again with our friends from the UK who are happy to join us again. Delightful soujourn and a short walk to town for our daily bread and Friday markets are a big event. You should not miss staying here if you get the chance; we have stayed elsewhere and this is the best. Oh... Wi-Fi works and is always an essential for us wherever we travel in the world.
Thank you for a lovely stay. Villa Kali was immaculate when we arrived. Best villa ever according to no.2 child (particularly because of pool and table tennis). All in all a memorable holiday, everything is so convenient, hassle free and well thought through. Thanks very much.
Everything about the property was better than expected. The rooms were large, clean and wonderfully decorated. The beds and linen were first rate. The kitchen and living areas were all well appointed and had everything you need. The laundry room had 2 washing/drying machines ! The salt water pool was wonderful and there was many pool toys, ping pong table etc. The area was wonderful for e-bikes that we rented and we enjoyed the charming villages all within short drive away : Cotignac, La Celle and many more. Thomas, the property manager was helpful and took care of our excursions. The property is very private with lovely views of the mountains and vineyards. Of course the vineyard offers wine tasting and cellar visit. We were 11 family members who could not have had a better vacation. Everything about Les Trois Maisons de Valescure has 5 stars (or 3 Michelins!)
We stayed in the beautiful Maison des Cordeliers in Sarlat in July 2024. What can we say - perfect property in the perfect location within a stunning town. The pool and outside area is just lovely, amazingly private yet only a five minute walk to the heart of the action. Very peaceful and well equipped. The owner Jackie is super helpful with quick replies to any queries and offering any additional assistance needed with regard to the area and recommendations. The villa itself is very thoughtfully equipped while maintaining an authentic French feeling. All in all we would definitely 100% recommend this villa if you were lucky enough to be visiting the beautiful town of Sarlat.
Many thanks for your hospitality; we've very much enjoyed our stay at the Loft. You've clearly gone to a lot of effort to ensure that your guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. We certainly appreciated the supper that you provided for us on the first night - much appreciated after a day of travel. We found the holy trinity of travel in our first trip to the Dordogne in as much as our stay provided the perfect property, superb hosts and a wonderful location. Owners have renovated the property wonderfully by melding traditional Dordogne architecture with contemporary interior design that maintains the character of the property but also provides modern comforts. The location of the cottage combines a secluded rural position with easy access (5 minutes walk) to Thonac's 2 restaurants, shop and hotel bar. Similarly the main road through Thonac takes you through the picturesque Vezere valley with Montignac and our favourite Saint Leon only a few minutes drive. Médiéval Sarlat, Beynac and Domme are slightly further afield but still an easy journey. Caves to canoeing, troglodytes to trekking and food and drink aplenty are all easily accessible from Thonac and you really can make any sort of holiday from this property. Its magnificent!
We’ve had the most special stay and made so many happy memories. The house is such fun with a young family and the children have been on many wildlife explorations around the grounds and we gave all spent hours in the pool. Thank you for your hospitality.
Le Petit Palais is a beautiful place to stay, in a very peaceful area. It had everything we needed and was perfect for a relaxing family holiday.

Our stay was fantastic. I highly recommend this property. It is in pristine condition and everything is new. The sheets, towels and mattresses are luxurious. The house is very modern inside with all the comforts of a city home. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The house was impeccable. The pool is fantastic and the outdoor entertaining area is large and has great facilities. It is only a short walk to the town of Monségur. Here you can find a supermarket and local market. Christophe was always available to assist us with anything we needed. He answered our calls immediately. I highly recommend this property.
We had a busy two weeks and it was so nice to return to a peaceful, clean apartment and lovely garden to relax in. We have booked to return in 2020 and are looking forward to it already. The apartment is fully equipped with all the basics needed for a short break.
Two splendid weeks relaxing and sight seeing with a very beautiful home to come back too. We can't fault the house, we especially loved the kitchen, pool room, swimming pool and of course the marvellous views.

We’ve had such a fabulous week in this beautiful farmhouse. It’s very difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool, tennis court and, for some of us, the gym. The location – we thoroughly enjoyed the markets, Chinon and the woods – as well as the beautiful piano and luxuries of the house, have made this a truly memorable week for us with our grown-up children and their friends. This beautiful villa in the middle of the vineyards had every comfort imaginable. The heated pool was a dream. We would also like to mention the exceptional cleanliness. The hosts do everything to ensure that you feel comfortable and can enjoy a pleasant holiday.
Absolutely fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 weeks and would love to return. It's so well equipped, you've thought of everything UK TV meant we could stay in touch with local news not mention avidly watching the olympics. The property couldn't be bettered!
