Had a wonderful 2 weeks at the Maison Baleyssagues in Lot-et-Garonne. Great days out in Bordeaux and the countryside. Weather great for the most part. Really enjoyed the super pool - which has been the best so far. Thanks so much to Frederic for being such an entertaining host. See you gain soon.
We've had a fantastic week in your beautiful home with all its attention to detail. Thank you so much – the pool table has been a great novelty, the sports equipment and bikes have entertained us for hour. We’ve loved visiting the bastides and swimming in the lake and the Lot.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. We have just returned from a fabulous week at Mas des Rivailles. The property is located along a quiet lane and for the majority of the time all you could hear were the birds singing. We have stayed in the local area previously but there were still places we wanted to visit. However we were lucky to have superb weather and we decided to stay at the villa most days as we just did not want to leave the pool and relaxing atmosphere. The salt water pool is definitely the best one we have had so far. The villa is well equipped and has everything you could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean and the gardens are well kept. We would like to give a special thank you to Frédéric who met us on arrival and was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. He gave us a guided tour and explained how everything worked. It certainly made for a great start to our holiday. A delicious and generous welcome pack was waiting for us on our arrival too. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing break.
We have had a thoroughly enjoyable week staying in your lovely home. You were both very welcoming and available to answer any questions or queries. The house has everything you could possibly need to enjoy a relaxing break. The additional fans was most welcomed due to the very hot weather. We loved the French charm of the property + the rural setting. The peace and quiet was perfect for us. The children thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and facilities in the beautiful garden. The location within the Loire Valley makes exploring sites easy. We visited Saumur and Mon[s]oreau. Thank you for a lovely week as part of our 25 week holiday across France.
The host was great. She went out of her way to make us feel at home. The area is picturesque and great for exploring the wine region.
It is true what the other reviews have mentioned - the photos do not do it justice - the accommodation is huge and the living area is simply gorgeous. The location is perfect, completely silent and peaceful, yet not too far from the boulangerie, activities and local towns. Debbie and Rupert were so welcoming, we immediately felt at home. There was no problem too small and Debbie helped us to book local activities and dinners out. It was the break we had needed for so long, thank you so much.

We have returned! Even more enjoyable this year, weather and pool fantastic. The villa is close to perfect.
We've rented a lot of other villa, châteaux and domaines, but this one was the best! The six ensuite bedrooms were all the same size and had the same amenities so none of the six couples had a less than optimal room as we've experienced in other rentals. The two on-site staff were wonderful and spoke perfect English (they're Irish so not a surprise). The location in Burgundy was perfect for day trips. If you book this rental, you'll be delighted!
We spent a truly magical and wonderfully memorably week at Maison Tilleul last summer. It was everything we dreamed of. Stunning grounds, modern facilities, beautiful décor and every amenity you could need. The village is peaceful and picturesque. The countryside was quintessentially French. The historic and geographical wonders that provide endless options for afternoon drives or day trips, were all worth every minute driving through the vineyards and mountain passes that the region offers in abundance. There are wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance and short drives. We had a spectacular evening watching the sun set with a cocktail at Côté Resto set amongst the vines of Domaine Gayda, followed by exquisite cuisine and a buoyant atmosphere. We sampled traditional Blanquette at the atmospheric Abbaye Saint-Hilaire. Explored the impressive Gorges de Saint-Georges and mountain villages. The Cathar castles and ancient city of Minerve, were stunning and like nothing I’ve seen before, both in scale and the history associated with them. I have visited the Languedoc for years, but Le Parc made it a year like no other. Thank you for the privilege – memories have been made and will be treasured.
The house was very comfortable and the facilities were great it made a good centre for touring the area so we would be happy to recommend the house to anyone else.
Paradise We so enjoyed your beautiful slice of paradise in France. What an amazing 'estate' that truly defines old French country. So gorgeous and we so appreciate being able to use it. Everyone had a wonderful time.
Beautiful accommodation with so much attention to detail! We were all very amazed by the cleanliness and its amenities. We have never been to such a beautiful place before. We were a group of 6 people. On the terrace you have a beautiful view and there is a waterfall nearby. Sophie is a very lovely and helpful person. We were already very convinced of the pictures of the villa, in reality it was even more beautiful. The kitchen was fully equipped, there was no lack of a device or spice. Very very hygienic everything! I would be happy to come back.
We’ve had a wonderful 2 weeks, the girls have loved the swimming pool and all the facilities. We spent many relaxing days reading in front of the beautiful views. The house is very comfortable. Nyons, Orange, Avignon, Vaison la romaine were all very picturesque and worth a visit, especially the amazing Roman theatre in Orange. All in all a fabulous trip. We will be back.

Thank you so much for your hospitality this last week. Staying at the Loft du Vigneron is more a 5-star hotel experience than a typical rental property! We loved sitting out on the terrace at all times of the day and there were so many little touches that made staying here such a pleasure. You are great hosts - discrete yet friendly and so helpful when required. As for activities in the area, we particularly enjoyed Lastours and the Friday night pop-up tapas bar at the château. All the best for your new venture - we're sure it will be a great success!
