Mas de Lozanne is fabulous. Great garden, wonderful pool and lovely walking and cycling through the vineyards. We would love to come here again.
Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed the house and the boys (13 and 11) loved the pool! It was a great place to have as our base and we explored the Dordogne and Lot enjoying kayaking, zip-lines, châteaux, markets, medieval towns, caves and gardens. Monpazier was one of our favourites! Thanks for a lovely week in your fabulous holiday house, it was very kind of you to let us arrive early so we could easily visit the market. It was quite entertaining seeing the gendarmes trying to organise the market day traffic (and the usual bonkers French parking!) We have stayed in quite a few properties in the South of France but not managed to find somewhere that was both walking distance to a nice town and a high spec house. Yours certainly ticked both of those boxes. Especially with the weather not being on our side, we spent a lot of time in the house and really appreciated all of the luxury living area and kitchen features. The kids loved the pool (and it did stay at 26 degrees!), so we did manage to venture in almost every day, much to the amazement of some of the locals! Thanks also for all of the information and recommendations that you and Lisa sent through before and during our stay. It was very much appreciated and hugely helpful.
Thank you for a wonderful stay! The house and views are gorgeous. We loved visiting Saint-Clar, Condom and off course Lectoure, which has everything you could wish for including the fantastic spa. What a relaxing treat!
This is our second family holiday in this wonderful house. The welcome from Ian and Hugh when we arrived was excellent. The house and garden are beautifully cared for and the standard of accommodation is 'five star'. It felt like home from home rather than a soleless rental property. Having the owners on site was a plus as they where able to guide us with local activities and restaurant recommendations... there is a lot to do in this area and being so close to some of the best wine regions in the world is definitely a big plus. We also has a lovely day in Bordeaux, which is an easy drive or train journey and well worth the effort. We plan to return next year for our summer break and I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful peaceful haven to anyone wishing to experience the best in hospitality! Thank you Ian and Hugh, you have created something very special!

We've had a super time in the house, made some fabulous meals, enjoyed al fresco dining and of course the pool! We enjoyed exploring especially Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi. Thank you for a lovely stay at Mas des Rivailles. Our family of five stayed there for two weeks in August 2023 and we had a great time. It is very spacious and modern, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The pool temperature was perfect and we found the salt-water quite pleasant. The sun loungers and pool set up allowed for relaxing moments poolside and we especially appreciate the very large games room with table tennis, billiards and football table as well as numerous toys for our three children. The bedrooms were clean and fitted with quality sheets and soft towels as well as sufficient storage space for our belongings. The laundry room/pantry was also very helpful for storing food and washing our clothes with ease. Frederic was helpful and attentive as always and made our stay very comfortable, bringing over extra fans when we requested as our stay coincided with a heatwave. The proprietor's family who live on the farm next door were very friendly and helpful and responded to any issues we had. The location of the house is also convenient for exploring the region with many interesting towns and activities a short drive away. We would definitely recommend! Thanks again.
What an incredible week away in a wonderful house! We enjoyed a trip to Jonzac and St Georges de Didonne but mainly stayed at the house with everything it has to offer. Games room for family rounds of table tennis, the pool temperature was fabulous and the house itself very spacious and comfortable. Thank you for the Welcome hamper all the great comms ahead of our stay and for letting us enjoy this haven!
There were 6 of us, (3 couples) from USA who stayed a week in October at Château des Dragons. Laurence and Marian were absolutely wonderful hosts. They are warm and welcoming and made sure that everything in the château was comfortable. They arranged a wonderful wine tour and were so helpful in answering any questions that we had about the surrounding area. One can easily walk to the nearby village or take a hike in the surrounding farm country and woods. We would definitely return to the lovely Château des Dragons.
The house / Loft is absolutely DIVINE - the whole family could actually live here! We've had a fantastic time in the pool swimming. Mack and Mabel are SOOOOO cute. We're going to miss France and especially the house and garden along with the four of you. I hope that other people choose to stay here and that you have a lifetime of happiness because a couple like you deserve a round of applause and a trophy!
You don't need us to tell you what a beautiful house this is and the bath with a view indeed. We didn't eat out much as the super markets were so convenient and the kitchen well equipped. We arrived in a heat wave, not complaining though! It was amazing and the wonderful pool helped us cool off. The children took their push bikes over the back of the vineyards to the cycle path and biked into Nyons, we also walked it which was most pleasant. As regards places of interest, we took ideas from the house book as it was too hot to visit the tourist information centre during opening hours and most of our exploring was done in the evenings.
We had a wonderful stay in the lovely, spacious house. The pool and outside area is absolutely amazing. Also, there are a lot of nice places to visit within driving distance. Highly recommended!
What a lovely holiday we have had. Two great hosts and we have made two lovely friends! We will be back for sure!
Lovely house in nice authentic village. We really enjoyed staying in this house in Nissan. We especially loved the pool area and the terrace where we spent most of our time when we weren't out exploring the area. It's in a perfect location within a few minutes' walk from the town square with bars and a couple of pizza restaurants. There is a market 3 times a week, which we also really enjoyed. Paul who met us on arrival and was available throughout our stay for any questions is a really nice guy who speaks good English. It's within easy driving distance of Narbonne, Montpellier and Béziers and about 20 minutes from the beach. You can tell that this is a well-loved house by friendly owners Terry and Carol and we would recommend this house to anyone seeking an authentic French experience in comfortable surroundings.
Thank you, what an amazing holiday we’ve had in your wonderful house, from the swimming pool to the table tennis room and family boule tournaments, we’ve had great fun. We loved. We loved swimming in the river in Nyons and the massive markets. A lovely windy trip up to mount Ventoux with amazing views and cheering on the cyclists!. Vaison la romaine was a nice morning out with the Roman remains and finally a quick wine tasting (and purchase) at Domaine du Tave with Audrey finished it off nicely. Thanks again,
The house is located very quietly, there are sunflower fields all around and no other houses nearby. We really enjoyed the peaceful environment. A great location for a relaxed vacation.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in oyur villa, Philippe. The perfect place for 70th birthday celebrations/family reunion. The pool is so well set up for relaxing, socialising and being able to keep an eye on the kids. After a week in the pool, our daughter was able to swim independently by the end! Thank you for your warm and friendly hosting: the welcome cheese, breakfast pastries, brilliant meal at La Tour de Montady, fabulous wine tasting at Saint-Chinian - it has all beenso memorable and made the trip that much better. Other highlights have been many bike rides through the vines, a trip to Chichoulet Beach, discovering the butcher and pâtissière in Cazouls-les-Béziers and enjoying the local produce by the pool every evening.
This was our first ever holiday rental and it has set the bar very high indeed. From the moment we arrived to a warm and friendly welcome by our hosts (Katerina and Stephen) to the time we departed with the same warmth and friendliness still on display we could not have wanted a better start to our extended holiday. The cottage is very well appointed and is a perfect size for a couple. It had all the facilities one would hope to find to make our two weeks very much a 'home from home' sensation and provided space for the two of us to move around comfortably. The pool is also excellent and reflects the great care our hosts took in ensuring everything was perfectly presented. The location - in the Vezere valley - is ideal for visiting the numerous attractions of the area. Pre historic caves, stalagmite and stalactite caves, fortified houses, gorgeous châteaux and so many utterly charming villages. We even ventured into a canoe for a 12km cruise down the Vezere which allowed us to see the valley from a different perspective. Although we love visiting different places there is a high probability of us coming back again!

You have both been incredible - from your patience over the booking; your reassurances over Covid in France, and the amazing steps you've taken to protect your guests, ( we cannot imagine anyone could do more ), to providing my daughter with a very much appreciated birthday cake ( delicious, by the way ). Always being at the end of the phone and let's not forget the incredible 'Loft' - it is beautiful - calm and relaxing, spotlessly clean. Your attention to detail is excellent. We have all had a wonderful time and return to England feeling refreshed and nurtured.
A delightful location for a holiday, particularly for a family. Debbie and Rupert are very welcoming and while being entirely unobstrusive, are only too willing to give practical help and suggestions if required. The accommodation is spacious with interesting architecture, comfortable good quality furnishing and a well equipped kitchen. The grounds are attractive and varied, with a pretty courtyard and different areas for relaxing or eating out. The pool is beautifully kept and a good size. Everything about the property is well maintained and cared for - it is a lovely place to stay.
We have had a perfect week staying in this gorgeous home. As much as we loved getting out and about, we have also loved spending lazy days around the pool - it has been quite a challenge to tear ourselves away! We managed it a few times though and between us the hits were serious cycle trips on quiet country roads, exploring beautiful little towns that are just all over the place, the odd château visit (Chenonceau is a must - get there early) and of course, just being in France. Thank you for allowing us into your very special home - you are lovely hosts and I hope our paths cross again in the future. Merci beaucoup!
