Cédric, another wonderful holiday in your beautiful villa. We enjoyed it so much, with trips towards Narbonne, the Canal du Midi, Pézenas, Gruissan for the stage 16 of the Tour de France, as well as lots of time in the fantastic pool! you wer a great host, showing us your new wine cellar (I didn't drink all the wine!) and telling us your plans to make the house even better. Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed the house and the boys (13 and 11) loved the pool! It was a great place to have as our base and we explored the Dordogne and Lot enjoying kayaking, zip-lines, châteaux, markets, medieval towns, caves and gardens. Monpazier was one of our favourites! We had high expectation of this holiday and were not disappointed. The property is a piece of history in an area steeped in the past. From the moment we arrived, greeted by a couple you seemed to have been friends with all your life, the stresses of every day life evaporated. We immediately felt at home and were very quickly making plans for our next visit. The cottage looks picture postcard from the outside and there really is no detail left undone. The inside has its historic charm in place but with all the amenities necessary so that you are not required to live the Médiéval lifestyle of many some other rural accommodation in France. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated and there are large bathroom and shower facilities (upstairs and down). The private swimming pool is superb and was for our sole use. Its clear waters under pine trees and a blue sky were idyllic. It was difficult to tear my wife from the pool side. The cottage fits perfectly into an area of outstanding beauty where many of the sites we wished to visit were only minutes away. The owners were very welcoming and provided good advice on the places to visit but were not overwhelming so that you could always enjoy complete privacy. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and cannot recommend it more highly. If you want to tour the area to see the 1,000 châteaux and the countless prehistoric sites in the area or just chill by the pool, this is the place for you. Thank you for a lovely week.
We have enjoyed two wonderful week here with cloudless skies and beautiful evenings. Amongst our favourite outings were nearby Villedieu, a beautiful spot for a lunchtime stop at the cafe du centre or the exceptional bistro de Villedieu, we also visited Gigondas with its magical views and charming square, Vaison la romaine is a stunning town especially the old part. We also enjoyed wondering around Nyons following the route through the spectacular medieval arches, chapel and church.
Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful home. We have had a wonderful time and would recommend this farmhouse to anyone. This relaxing week has been enjoyed by all and the weather has been superb. Thank you.

A wonderful week in le Paradou. A delightful house in a beautiful part of France. Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Paradou. The house is charming with an excellent kitchen and a wonderful garden and pool. Located within driving distance to so many sights, our week stay was not nearly long enough. The garden was beautifully maintained. Indeed, if we had not been so keen to explore Provence, we could have spent a very relaxing week eating "al fresco" in the garden and swimming in the sparkling pool. Peter, a very attentive owner, provided us with valuable information about the surrounding area, the market days for each village and local restaurant recommendations.
Weary of election nonsense and pandemic restrictions, we sought respite in France and found it at Colombat Cottage.
Foreign and familiar. Grand and intimate. Giving us frivolity and solitude. Château La Roche-Posay had given us exactly what we needed. The host made our stay all the more enjoyable with the perfect amount of attention. Thank you for helping us to open our eyes to a beautiful part of France!
We had a wonderful time at your beautiful domain. We explored the region extensively, but would love to come back again to enjoy more of the peace and quiet here on your property. Lovely house in nice authentic village. We really enjoyed staying in this house in Nissan. We especially loved the pool area and the terrace where we spent most of our time when we weren't out exploring the area. It's in a perfect location within a few minutes' walk from the town square with bars and a couple of pizza restaurants. There is a market 3 times a week, which we also really enjoyed. Paul who met us on arrival and was available throughout our stay for any questions is a really nice guy who speaks good English. It's within easy driving distance of Narbonne, Montpellier and Béziers and about 20 minutes from the beach. You can tell that this is a well-loved house by friendly owners Terry and Carol and we would recommend this house to anyone seeking an authentic French experience in comfortable surroundings.
To open the shutters of the pretty red bedroom and see that glorious view, gives one a small inkling of why the 'Sun King' built Versailles! This was my 4th visit to Provence and it hasn't disappointed. Many thanks
Just back at work after two weeks at Maison Tigre and wanted to thank you for sharing your home with us – we had a fantastic time. We have been staying in France and Italy over the last ten years – varying our choice between rural isolation (for space and privacy) and village houses (for the boulangeries and café s, etc.) and I have to say that your home provides the perfect combination in a part of France where there is so much to do and see. I also really like the house itself – the great care that has gone into the development, finishing and furnishings is evident (and I like the modernist / minimalist style you have employed). All in all a brilliant holiday.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa and it truly exceeded our expectations. The photos on the website don’t fully capture the charm and spaciousness of this property. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The villa is brilliantly laid out, offering plenty of open space, which was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. Each room was spotless, tidy and provided ample storage space for all our holiday belongings. The games room was a fantastic bonus, keeping our children entertained during the occasional rainy day. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Our three boys absolutely loved it and spent hours splashing around. The gentle slope of the pool was especially helpful for our youngest, who learned to swim during this holiday—an unforgettable milestone for our family. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which was ideal for both daytime relaxation and evening games as we watched the sun set. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views added to the tranquility of our stay. The villa’s location is perfect for exploring the local area, which offers plenty of activities to keep a family like ours busy. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this villa is a perfect choice. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
La Forge is very spacious and very well equipped. We appreciated the calm and the swimming pool which we could use at will. We highly recommend this cottage.

Our holiday for the past week in this beautiful property has been nothing but a 5 star experience. Thierry and Philippe provided everything to such a high and professional standard for us. We had a wonderful stay! The grounds are very spacious and we received a warm, friendly welcome. The gîte was well equipped with everything we needed. The WiFi was externally disrupted before and during for our stay but the owner had already organised an alternative, which was much appreciated. The pool was fantastic, with lots of pool-side paraphernalia to use, and we also enjoyed making use of the gym. The owner kindly provided us with fresh eggs and delicious, meaty courgettes – such a treat! Their young Bernese dog is absolutely adorable, though still very much in training and at that cheeky teenage stage. All in all, a lovely stay, and we’d love to return one day.
An amazing house in a part of France which is so rich of culture, beauty, villages, churches, fields of sunflowers and I must say, it is difficult to leave the house... real stylish home. The kitchen inspires to cook, the outside place gives you the opportunity to swim, read, eat, enjoy the sun. The bedrooms, mattresses and linen and perfect.
Just a brief note to say a big thank you for letting us use the property for 2 weeks. The house is very well kitted out with lots of information on hand. During this week we visited Gordes and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The area is gorgeous and we will be back.
We had a lovely holiday here ! The place was beautifully quiet and well-equipped. Pau is definitely worth a visit with wonderful restaurants. We had a great stay and are heading home fully recharged.
