We have spend a wonderful holiday at the villa. The villa is ideal, spacious and nicely decorated. The children loved the pool and the table tennis table! It is an ideal base to visit the region. The market in Pézenas should not be missed. We have driven a boat, ridden horses and hired bikes in Marseillan and seen flamingoes! Dream holiday. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. This must be the perfect summer holiday Villa for a small family. As a couple we were joined by some friends for part of our stay and we had a great time in the sun. The O 13 Clochers restaurant in Monteton is under new management and serves superb food. Hostellerie des Ducs good quality- and the restaurant in Seyches is incredible value. We are sure to return.
We spent two wonderful weeks at Villa Lavinière and visited lots of beautiful places in the region. Villa Lavinière is a very cozy house, decorated with good taste and well equipped! Thank you.

We loved the house! Very equipped, very well decorated, the exterior is incredible with a space by the pool very pleasant. And the area is beautiful.
We have all loved our stay here. Wish we had booked 2 weeks. Very traditional but you have provided all the modern amenities needed, with out compromising that gîte feeling. Hope to return. enjoyed afternoons in the pool and watching the amazing sunset from the driveway. Enjoyed the live entertainment in the square of Verteillac outside Le Calice bar. Must visit the beautiful town of Brantôme.
Amazing house for outside living ,lots of BBQs and rose on the terrace. Our outdoors loved the walk through the woods and we enjoyed the local markets. Highly recommend L’Effet Maison restaurant in Monflanquin – fantastic food and great wine. Look forward to a new pool side! Thanks for having us!
Wonderful holiday in this beautiful and stylish home! The house has been refurbished to a very high specification and the bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are luxuriously contemporary. The kitchen is impressively well equipped. There is so much to do in the area which is steeped in history and blessed with natural beauty. The Roman ruins at Vaison are a must- see. We were amazed to find the largest archaeological site in France just down the road and the medieval town, on the other side of the river, with its winding streets, is charming. We found it hard to tear ourselves away from the stunning views and the peace and tranquility of the gardens and pool but outings to the hilltop villages of Seguret and Venasque and a wine tasting in Gigondas or Châteauneuf du Pape are experiences not to be missed!
The house and the grounds are fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area. The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc comfortable. The kids loved the swings etc and the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. The food was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maison des Cordeliers, it is the perfect location to enjoy peace and quiet after a busy day exploring. We hope to return!

As we drive north towards home we are reflecting over so many happy memories during this past week. Your beautiful home so full of character and comfort certainly made all the difference to our holiday. We loved it so much I am almost embarrassed to say we only ventured out once for a half day outing (to the lake!). We were all so happy just to be around the pool. We took full advantage of everything you offered... nightly boules, both upper terraces, BBQs, table tennis, the gorgeous private patio outside our room and all that the pool area had to offer etc etc. Dave loved Sonos (but never roused Alexa) and the path along the canal for him to run on... and the challenge of the gates which were fine in the end. The three grandchildren, 2½, 14 months and 5 months loved it all. In fact the one year old took her first steps in your front garden! It was a very special holiday for us all and we just wanted to say a huge thank you for opening your home to us.
Absolutely delightful rural but cosy atmosphere with everything you need. Well equipped - sunshine by the pool and warmth by the fire when the evening cooled. Already looking to secure dates for next year.

The incredible thing about this house is that you quickly feel at home there. We are like in a cocoon, magnificent, relaxing, invigorating. We spent 15 incredible days here, a vacation that we will remember for years to come. Amazing corners, an intoxicating sea, enriching discoveries and a group of friends who have become closer thanks to this experience. This villa is of incredible beauty and quality, the breathtaking setting between the view of the sea and the sunset over the Cévennes, the heated swimming pool available at any time of the day and night adds further excellence to the frame. We are here in peace although we have everything we need around, notably in Béziers, Cap d'Agde, Sigean... Spain is very close for an even greater change of scenery. We will return with great joy, thank you very warmly.

Villa La Baronne has been an absolute dream holiday! The house itself is beautifully decorated and a pleasure to stay in. We thoroughly enjoyed all the activities on site, especially splashing around in the pool, playing on the pool table and attempting to have a go at croquet. Villa La Baronne is also in a great location, short drives away from lots of restaurants and especially some playing fields which we enjoyed kicking a ball around on. We love it here! We don't want to go! Thank you!
Superb house that has preserved the charm of yesteryear. The exteriors are beautiful with a huge garden and woods adjacent to it. We had a very relaxing stay with our friends and children. The house is very practical and we don't step on each other! Thanks again to Stanislas and Martha for their welcome.

Mostly enjoying the weather and pool! We have seen the red squirrel, lizards, water vole and many birds. It's so peaceful and beautiful, we will miss it.
Thank-you, Jean and Martin, for a fabulous two week stay in your lovely gîte. We had everything we needed to make it a very special relaxing holiday. The outdoor BBQ area has been put to great use! We have enjoyed many evenings outside drinking and eating. It was great having your input for ideas and suggestions for things to do and places to visit. The pool is perfect and we have enjoyed using the lovely gazebo area. The garden is a beautiful retreat in which to fully unwind and enjoy the abundant birdlife, especially first thing in the morning. We have really enjoyed watching the wood pecker, especially gathering food for the offspring! Lauzun provided the perfect location to start our many heavenly bike rides and to explore the fascinating bastide towns of Issigeac, Villereal and Eymet. We also visited the prehistoric cave-Grotte de Font Gaume and highly recommend, (pre-book tickets online). We look forward to coming back soon and seeing you again.
