We were with the family, the house is perfect for that. The bedding of the beds are recent and comfortable. Nothing was missing for our comfort. Fans in every room. Everything was very clean. The house is gigantic but the real plus is the garden and the pool! Large grassy area to play ball, petanque, ping-pong table, vegetable garden... and the huge swimming pool. Many deckchairs and garden armchairs, barbeque, plancha, shade in short all is perfect! Eva and her adorable friend, do not hesitate to ask her for a good address for a restaurant! I recommend.
We have just come back from this absolutely wonderful property in Collioure and we would like to share our impressions with you. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and his wife and the property is just like the pictures and more. This is a truly exceptional house with every conceivable thing you might want available. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms spacious and well equipped. Upstairs the kitchen has all a hobby cook like myself could possibly want with an abundance of spices available for our use. The house comes with a manager (Dany) who lives close by and will help with every problem you might have at an instant notice. The gastank of the barbecue was empty so after a message to the owner, Dany came by within 10 minutes to change it. This house does not dissapoint in any way and we would highly recommend it to anybody who wants true luxury close to the very lovely coastown town of Collioure.
A delight from start to finish! Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. We came as a group of 17 for my parents 50th wedding anniversary ages ranging from 3 to 75 and we all had a fab time. Scott and Rose-Anne couldn’t do enough for us and if we had any query they were always so helpful. The houses and grounds were just beautiful with the pool/ hot tub and sauna brilliant additions. So glad we chose this property for the very special occasion. Thank you for such an unforgettable ( in the best sense!) stay.
Merci pour une quinzaine fantastique ! It was a wonderful place to spend a special birthday celebration with friends and family. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed the luxurious feel and the tasteful decor. The extra touches were much appreciated - especially the breakfast deliveries. We also enjoyed the visit to the cave at Saint-Chinian. We enjoyed the meal at the family run restaurant La Tournelle, a friendly service and very reasonable prices. For another gourmet lunch with an impressive view we enjoyed the Tour at Monterey. Good value set lunch. Thank you for everything.

Many thanks for our wonderful week here in your beautiful home and surroundings. We loved every minute with the children spending their time in the pool, playing table tennis and with all the other games (chess, dominoes…) You kindly supplied we couldn’t have asked for more and very much appreciated our welcome pack. Wonderful house. Thank you for our wonderful stay. We were a large party of friends looking for somewhere scenic to spend a week together. We were excited when we booked but over the moon when we arrived to the beautiful house. The space works really well for a large group of people with multiple areas to comfortably sit and hang out. We had some delicious dinners and breakfasts (cooked in the well equipped kitchen and BBQ) out on the deck and the view made them even more magical. Even though the house is wonderful to relax and play in the pool in we found some lovely things to do in the surrounding area. There's a wonderful restaurant right by the house and kayaking and wake-boarding about an hour drive and some nice villages not far. Overall if you want a place that feels private and scenic and is still functional and comfortable then this an ideal place. We hope to come back soon!
We really enjoyed our stay in your house and wished we could have had more time. We spent most of our time in the garden, under the oak tree or at the swimming pool. The evenings are absolutely marvellous with the typical Provence colours and smells. It must be a great place also to spend some time in the winter. At that time it will be probably more time spend inside the house which is beautiful as well and very nice decorated.
Thank you for sharing your fantastic home with us. Perfect location and layout of the house, with a great outside bathing area to watch the sunsets with a glass of wine. Laprade not to be missed. If you are prepared to drive a little further Issigeac (Noth East of Eymet) worth a visit with a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Big thanks to Olivia, always on hand to help. Idyllic, total relaxation It was our first time visiting Charente and we absolutely loved La Charmante Distillerie. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. The pool area and terraces had amazing views and so tranquil. The interior was beautifully furnished and we liked the nod to the old distillery and its history. There were plenty of activities for the family and we really enjoyed star gazing with the telescope provided. Mark kept the grounds and pool immaculate. We appreciated access to the herb garden and fruit trees. I would also mention the excellent internet coverage which meant that our teenagers were happy in the den in the loft, and the younger kids loved playing in the sandpit and on the climbing frame. Can’t recommend this place enough!
We had a wonderful time in the lovely property in Gonfaron. We ranged in size from 3 for one week to a full house for the other 3 weeks. The porch with the big table and sofa area was fantastic. Big dinners at night and coffee on the sofas in the morning. All my guests loved it. Everyone loved the pool and pool house.
This is a spacious, stylish house perfect for families, friends and couples in the heart of pretty Vezenobres located within an easy hour of mountains, rivers, gorgeous markets, Roman towns with their summer festivals and even the Mediterranean. The house itself is so lovely both in and out - you will no doubt be back again and again!
You have created a fantastic holiday home which we have enjoyed staying in very much. Thank you for your warm welcome, generous hospitality and advice about what to visit / where to eat in the Minervois region; it has been greatly appreciated. Perfect peace and luxury. Château Velouse is the perfect place to relax: large, beautifully furnished bedrooms, luxury bathrooms, extensive walled grounds, an orchard, seats tucked away under shady trees, well equipped large kitchen and a heated swimming pool with comfy beds and parasols. The château is far enough from the road to ensure that bird song is the loudest noise you will hear. We had a marvellous week with a large group of friends ( 15 for dinner one night ) and the château never felt crowded. The outdoor dining terrace was perfect of an evening and we sat late into the night laughing, drinking and playing giant jenga! This venue is perfect for a group of friends or family to spend quality time together in beautiful surroundings. You do need a car to get out and about and Bourges is well worth a visit when you can tear yourself away from the pool.
An idyllic month! The farmhouse is lovely, cool inside and beautifully equipped. Everything worked perfectly, even the Wi-Fi for the numerous zoom meetings we both had in England. The summer kitchen and pool were a godsend, yesterday was 48° in the sun! Insane temperature but we coped well, including Harry, our black Labrador who always love being outside normally could hardly be dragged away from the cool tiles on the floor! Harry swam too in the Lot and various lakes nearby - very useful. We loved it so much, we are looking for a month next year. A huge thank you to Stéphane and Cathy (and Jean Luc) who looked after us and the pool and house so well. The area locally is so friendly and we have met some lovely people - at the Wednesday night market in Salles, walking Harry at 7 am in the morning (Mike, not me!) and on various visits to Monflanquin and other local bastide villages. 14th July celebrations last night were greatfun too. Vive la France! With many thanks again.

Thank you for a lovely stay. Villa Kali was immaculate when we arrived. Best villa ever according to no.2 child (particularly because of pool and table tennis). All in all a memorable holiday, everything is so convenient, hassle free and well thought through. Thanks very much.

We have just returned from our stay and wanted to let you know what a lovely place this is. Firstly the property itself is extremely comfortable with a beautifully maintained pool in a lovely setting overlooking the vineyards. The proprietors, Debbie and Rupert, are very welcoming and helpful. They are not intrusive but they do go the extra mile to make the holiday enjoyable. Everything was included that we could possibly have needed and Debbie gave us some delicious home made yoghurt for breakfast. Secondly, this is a brilliant area to visit. It's located pretty much on a crossroads between different areas, so whichever direction you travel in the countryside is different and there are some incredible places to visit: beautiful villages, vineyards, Cahors, the river Lot and its valley, Peche Merle for prehistory and a lovely little prehistory museum in Luzech with some amazing exhibits. We've re-visited places we've been to over the years and also seen some new. It has been everything that we could have wanted - and more.
Thank you both not only for your very warm welcome but also your kindness during our stay. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we wish you a happy holiday in Spain.
Great house in a super location. So quiet and relaxing. Loved the coypu in the pond - a bit special! Visited lots of towns and villages with the Dordogne in easy striking distance. Had a great 2 weeks! Thanks!
The house had everything we needed, we will hopefully be able to visit again. We had a fantastic weeks stay and while we did some visiting (Mount Ventoux was a highlight), we just appreciated being able to use the swimming pool, table tennis and pool table rooms, some of our skills definitely improved during our holiday. We also loved being able to eat outside and admire the fantastic views.
