We as a family enjoyed our stay in Mas des Rivailles. The house is great, lots of space in the house and even more in the great pool area with different places to sit, either in the sun or in the shade. The house was very clean and after a long drive, we were welcomed with some food and drinks for the first night.
You do have a little piece of heaven carved out here - we enjoyed it all.
Cédric, another wonderful holiday in your beautiful villa. We enjoyed it so much, with trips towards Narbonne, the Canal du Midi, Pézenas, Gruissan for the stage 16 of the Tour de France, as well as lots of time in the fantastic pool! you wer a great host, showing us your new wine cellar (I didn't drink all the wine!) and telling us your plans to make the house even better. Over the years we have stayed in around twenty different houses all over France - most were good, one or two were very good. But then there is the special one - this year. This house didn't feel like a house; it felt like home from the moment we walked through the door, after a long and tiring drive (and, bless you, there was bottle of ready chilled local wine ready and waiting for us). 'Welcome to your home' it said. The layout, décor and furnishings are delightful; and the luxury of each bedroom having its own bathroom topped it off. We had friends who came to stay for a while and they shared our thoughts. One couple even came back for a second visit on their way home. And then there is the garden – warm, private, shaded when you want it and serene. And yes, the pool is fabulous – it's a proper size. But wait until you see the garden at night, when you have your barbecue and the garden and pool lights come into play... makes the local rose taste even more morish. And then there is Pézenas - ten minutes walk away through a vineyard. And you won't go hungry there. Wonderful town. Only one regret – we couldn't parcel it up and take it home. It is, truly, an oasis.
We loved our stay - we were in a mixed group and it worked really well as each couple had their own space and privacy, but there are wonderful spaces for entertaining as a large group. The pool area is stunning and the setting is calm, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed taking the bikes on trips to nearby villages too!
This is a very peaceful and relaxing place, it was interesting watching the wine growers gathering their grape harvest, lots of beautiful scenery, places to visit and some lovely restaurants. We enjoyed cooking at the house with the very well equipped kitchen and some very nice decor touches around the house. A fantastic introduction to this part of France. We will return.
The property is out in the countryside and provided a very welcome quite location for a relaxing vacation. We stayed here during early August. The property has character, built in traditional stone and has extensive grounds to explore. There is a wonderful view of the Château de Biron from the front of the property. The château is well worth a visit and if you climb to the top you can pick out the property in the distance. The pool is fantastic and we spent many hours by and in the pool. We had great fun playing water volleyball. The house has all amenities that you want, although the Wi-Fi can be slow, but this has to be expected out in the country as I explained to my children! If staying here in the summer, take a walk just before sunset, out the drive and turn left. Just down the road you will catch some great sunsets and you are likely to see lots of deer at the same time. Visit Monpazier a few miles away. It's a great place to find a restaurant and wonder around this beautiful bastide town.

We had a lovely time at your house, we really like Pézenas and the surrounding area. The house itself was superb and very well equipped, we and our 18, 20 and 21 year old children were very happy. Being able to enjoy the shops and restaurants in Pézenas then wander back to the tranquillity of the house made for a great holiday.
This is our second family holiday in this wonderful house. The welcome from Ian and Hugh when we arrived was excellent. The house and garden are beautifully cared for and the standard of accommodation is 'five star'. It felt like home from home rather than a soleless rental property. Having the owners on site was a plus as they where able to guide us with local activities and restaurant recommendations... there is a lot to do in this area and being so close to some of the best wine regions in the world is definitely a big plus. We also has a lovely day in Bordeaux, which is an easy drive or train journey and well worth the effort. We plan to return next year for our summer break and I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful peaceful haven to anyone wishing to experience the best in hospitality! Beautiful surroundings. The accommodation met our expectations. A very warm welcome. Jayne and Wendy are very kind and friendly. They gave us a good introduction to the house and provided us with all the practical information we needed for our stay. A very successful vacation.
Thank you ever so much for such a wonderful stay at Camirout. We have all had a fabulous time, enjoying the fine weather, exploring the local area, sampling the delights of the local restaurants and village ‘feasts’/night markets; participating in medieval festivals (a particular favourite!); and most of all – relaxing by the pool. It has been such a special and enjoyable fortnight. Thank you for your kindness and warm hospitality. We will have fond memories of our special holiday here.
We have had a fantastic time staying at Maison Brunet despite the heatwave. We have been out exploring beautiful Bastide towns and enjoying wonderful food on offer in the local markets. It has been lovely to come back after a hot day and cool down in the pool.
We had a wonderful time at Château du Pic de Rigaud - as our five year old said 'I'd like to stay for forever, or maybe two...
We have had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful villa for several weeks each summer for 8 years. We always return to this special house located within walking distance to the restaurants and boutiques of charming Valbonne. My two daughters have grown up returning each summer and every time, the owner has made appropriate updates to make our stay even better. The views and outdoor seating areas are spectacular. The bedrooms are well appointed. We always look forward to this trip and hope we can continue going.

We have just returned from two weeks holiday spent at the truly wonderful Domaine de Nérige. The photos on the website are fantastic, but are still not as good as the real thing! There is everything you could possibly want and the comfort is exemplary, but what makes this the very best property we have ever had (and we have had a lot over the years, all over France!) is the care and attention to our comfort and enjoyment from Sandie and David who own it. Nothing was too much trouble and their friendliness and kindness was so lovely that frankly, by the time we left, it felt like we were leaving family behind! Whatever you do, try all of the wines (and beers) handily stocked for you – they are excellent and the food Sandie prepared for us was fabulous - don't skimp on the desserts, you'll regret it if you do! It is no surprise and no mystery that Domaine de Nérige is booked up so far in advance. If you have a bucket list of holidays, put this one at the very top and you will not regret it. We had the most wonderful holiday and unreservedly recommend Domaine de Nérige, as we have to everyone we have spoken to. Thank you so much Sandie and David for letting us live in your glorious home for two weeks, it was unforgettable – just like the two of you.

We had a fantastic week of vacation with friends at Mas du Château. The house, the pool, the bedding, the exteriors... everything is set up to have a perfect time! The house is perfectly insulated so that the most fetards in the group can take care of your feet in the water and the rest can sleep without problem. We'll be happy to go back, including off-season!:) Christophe is an available and attentive host. He has carefully renovated the house with care and commitment.

The meal at Le Pourquoi Pas was outstanding! A lovely part of France to explore. We went to Béziers, Carcassonne, Vendres and Capestang. All lovely. We've had another wonderful stay at Le Tesquet. It has been our 3rd stay here and we love the gite, the surrounding views, the pretty villages and lots of good restaurants. Pete and Kate have been superb hosts and we could not have asked for anything more. We will be back next July.
We had a fantastic week in Sarlat and around. The perfect base for a family holiday. We loved the gardens as Eyrignac and Marqueyssac in particular but there was so much to do and see here The Bistro De L’Octroi across the road is fantastic. Thanks Jackie and Geoff.
Excellent. Very nice amenities for this quiet house for getting together with family. The swimming pool is very large and with a breathtaking view of nature and the vineyards. The region is very beautiful and the surroundings are worth it. We had a very good holiday and Marie who welcomes you is very pleasant. Christiane, the owner, takes great care to ensure that your stay goes as smoothly as possible. The equipment in the house, whether furniture or kitchen area, is top notch.
A wonderful villa and a great host. We have had an amazing holiday in Maison des Communes and the surrounding areas. Delicious meals at restaurant de la Tour and Pica Pica in Béziers. Some enjoyable cycling and lots of relaxing by the pool (The pool was looked after excellently by the host). Breakfast delivery was a real treat too! Thank you.
