Lovely house and grounds. Good facilities; lovely outdoor area. Excellent swimming pool.
Maison Bourriette is a wonderful place to stay! In a peaceful location it’s a perfect getaway with cool indoor spaces and beautiful tranquil outdoor spaces. The house boasts wonderful views across the valley, with many routes from the house for walks or runs. The village is a short walk away and has a well stocked traditional market, an outdoor gym for those feeling active! The artificial beach in the village also allows for swimming or relaxing and the local pizza restaurant completes the day! We have visited more than once and each stay is relaxing, with friendly, helpful hosts. We will definitely go back to this hidden gem!
We had a very good stay at La Ferme Éclaircie which met all our expectations. We were very grateful for the initial supplies ( tea, coffee, wine , orange juice, loo paper etc ) which make a huge difference. The information pack - which was really useful. The maps. And the house was delightfully furnished and well supplied. We loved the area.
This is a fabulous villa with wonderful, spacious and different spaces and areas to relax, perfect for big or family groups - the pool is wonderful. Everything has been thought of and the availability of bikes for all ages is excellent, especially when you’re so close to the canal du midi. The owners are very attentive and friendly and everything from the generous arrival treats, to the fabulous meal out (thank you!) to the morning pastries and bread is A1 and the top tips on wine and day trips is provided readily and all great suggestions. A lovely place and definitely somewhere you’ll want to return to.
So much space for everyone. Personally some softer pillows would have been appreciated. Everything you need for a holiday with children, outside and in. Catering excellent. Faultless service.
I really want to keep this jewel hidden for myself! That's great. The apartment is what we all want to have. Two bedrooms with double beds. Beautiful view of the sea from the balcony. Private parking. Private place with chairs on the sea side. Beach club very close. Relaxing and easy to communicate with the owner Paul. Upon arrival, Ben was there with the keys and a lot of advice on the area. Arranged reservation, etc. Very easy to access and super helpful. So don't go because we want to go more often!
This was our first ever holiday rental and it has set the bar very high indeed. From the moment we arrived to a warm and friendly welcome by our hosts (Katerina and Stephen) to the time we departed with the same warmth and friendliness still on display we could not have wanted a better start to our extended holiday. The cottage is very well appointed and is a perfect size for a couple. It had all the facilities one would hope to find to make our two weeks very much a 'home from home' sensation and provided space for the two of us to move around comfortably. The pool is also excellent and reflects the great care our hosts took in ensuring everything was perfectly presented. The location - in the Vezere valley - is ideal for visiting the numerous attractions of the area. Pre historic caves, stalagmite and stalactite caves, fortified houses, gorgeous châteaux and so many utterly charming villages. We even ventured into a canoe for a 12km cruise down the Vezere which allowed us to see the valley from a different perspective. Although we love visiting different places there is a high probability of us coming back again!
We've had an excellent time in this beautiful villa. Sunbathing by the pool, swimming and rock climbing (just some of the things we've done). We hope to be back next year.
Thank you so much for our stay it was amazing. This is one of my favourite places in the world, just sitting by the field for hours on end listening and then coming back to play a family game of monopoly. Thank you again and we need to come back.

We certainly appreciated the supper that you provided for us on the first night - much appreciated after a day of travel. Converted farmhouse near Gordes. Beautiful property both inside and out, lounging by the pool listening to the birds and looking at the treetops gently swaying in the breeze is a little slice of heaven.

Very atmospheric, beautifully quiet, well equipped villa. Great pool and ideal for a large family stay. Nice market found 9 km to the left, at the bottom of the hill. Great local scenery, walks and bike rides and easy driving! Pool is fantastic and clean. Lower floor really cool when it gets hot! We've all had a great relaxing time!
A lovely relaxing holiday in a beautiful property in a fantastic part of the country. The morning bread delivery was especially welcome and the bread itself has been superb! We tried all of M. Marty's restaurant recommendations and were not disappointed. Will especially miss the fabulous scenery from all corners of the house!
Wow what a fab house! We had a brill time chilling in the garden and visiting local toddler friendly places... Would highly recommend the following:- Monkey village, paddling at Villefagnan and Cognac visit. We spotted red squirrels in the garden. The welcome pack is the best and most comprehensive we have every had and was so appreciated. Thank you! We would love to come again some time!
Have had a great two weeks here in your wonderful house. Very spacious and well-appointed, tasteful and comfortable. Boys have thoroughly enjoyed the pool. We have appreciated tranquility and privacy. We have enjoyed exploring the area and sampling the local cuisine. Restaurant recommendations include Hotel-Restaurant du Château in Campagne, Auberge Médiévale Audrix and for rustic but delicious farmhouse cuisine - Auberge Rebeyrotte near Pressigirac Vicq. If / when we return to continue exploring this lovely area of France, we would hope to be able to stay in 'The Loft'. Russell and Karen have been very welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive and nothing seems too much trouble. Perfect hosts! Sad to be leaving after only a week.
We have so enjoyed our week in your beautiful home and garden. Thank you for recommending the castle and gardens at Villandry - we loved it and it is well worth visiting. The Abbey at Fontevraud was interesting and set in a pretty area.
Loved our stay at L'Escapade au Lac, balcony a lovely spot to relax, pool was handy to cool down and interior nicely finished. Plenty of amazing places to visit.
Beautiful property with the most magnificent view. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Everything was there that you could possibly need. Pool was perfect. Lovely walk to next village cross country to a little restaurant is well worth doing. Takes about 45 minutes. Truly beautiful scenery around the house like being in a Van Gogh painting! We would definitely go back.
We have just stayed at this stunning house, It has everything. Peace, and lovely views, from a sensationally restored old barn. All comforts to make for a memorable stay, include air conditioning, a brand new pool, fully fitted kitchen and all made even better in meeting the owner Florence who lives next door. Easy shopping at the Supermarkets was only a 10 minute drive away, made for a great location. Thank you indeed Florence, have a successful summer and be reassured, you will have many other happy visitors still to come.
We've had a fantastic relaxing week, Immaculate facilities, superb hosts. What a beautiful place. We enjoyed the pool and playing pétanque.
As I suspected when first shown around the Loft du Vigneron, we are going to find it hard to leave. The accommodation is truly first class, and you have been wonderful hosts. Thank you for all your suggestions of places to visit - we all have different highlights, but for Franklin it was the food market in Narbonne. All in all, a perfect holiday! We very much hope to see you (and Mack and Mabel) again.

We have had a wonderful, relaxing and very enjoyable week at the farmhouse. It is a stunning place that we have enjoyed immensely. We have found it difficult to tear ourselves away from the glorious pool and tennis court and have had a fabulous rest! Perfect villa, lovely hosts and amazing view. Wow, this villa is just perfect in every way! It's beautiful, peaceful, clean and is very close to Saint-Paul-de-Vence which is gorgeous. The owners were so lovely to us, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The whole week felt so luxurious and comfortable and the pool was devine! We will almost definitely be returning here as we had a fantastic week. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt so relaxed and cared for!
