Had a really lovely stay at Les Marquises and loved the figs from the garden. we enjoyed visits to Nyons market on Thursday, the lavender farm and essential lavender all in the town. Also our visit to the Palais des papes. In Avignon.
Utterly charming property with wonderful views across the landscape. The property has a tasteful appearance and matched by comfortable furnishings and very well appointed. The swimming pool terrace is a superb elevated location from which to appreciate the beautiful scenery of the surrounding villages. The rooms are all a good size as are the unspoilt and private gardens, which are well stocked and quite attractive. We had a superb vacation with friends and we would certainly return again in the future. The local villages are blessed with an array of shops selling good quality local produce, as well as a selection of restaurants, bars, café s etc and we would recommend some of the local vineyards for excellent Rose du Provence wines. Highly recommended.
Extremely comfortable and stylish accommodation in renovated old buildings. Beautiful pool area a short walk from self-catering accommodation. Very quiet, perfect for families and couples. A short walk to Montsoreau for morning baguette and a small grocery. This place has everything; comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi and kitchen facilities. Great location in the Loire Valley for sightseeing or relaxing beside the pool.

Having booked with you several times and having never been disappointed our expectations were high. The owner was very knowledgeable and the property stocked with every utensil you could imagine, spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard. Our visit exceeded all our expectations. We came to this beautiful villa for a family reunion and a very special 60th birthday celebration. From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the charm, beauty and atmosphere of this property. The villa is absolutely stunning with plenty of space for everyone to relax, socialise and enjoy quality family time together. The surroundings are breathtaking and all of us made memories to last lifetime. We will treasure this for years to come. If you would have us again, then we will be back. Michelle attended to our every need promptly, respectfully and friendly. Thank you so very much. I do feel a little sad to leave….
We’ve had a wonderful week lounging by the pool and playing pool and table tennis, (all great for teenagers). Vinsobres is so lovely and only minutes away, Nyons and Vaison were good trips out.
Wonderful house full of character. My family had so much fun in the sparkling clean pool. All was laid on in the house and everything so clean.
Unfortunately we could not meet Eva but we were welcomed by Harold who is a very nice person. The house is very pretty and very pleasant. The rooms and the living room are very spacious. The terrace area with its plancha, the pool with its small beach and the deckchairs to relax are very appreciable.
Beautiful maintained home and grounds. Excellent facilities for young families. All modern and child / baby amenities provided. Daily housekeeping was an added bonus compared to previous holiday rentals.
We had the most wonderful stay in Maison Baleyssagues. The house was exactly as described and we immediately felt at home. Great location, beautiful pool and perfect rooms and beds. Also big thanks to host Frédéric. We will definitely come back.
Amazing château! Stunning weather! Five families came together from different places: Canada, Wales, England. We enjoyed ourselves and each other's company. We hope to come again to this lovely place with friendly spirits.
We loved our stay! Can’t say enough about how beautiful the scenery was from the house. Close to the lake and a grocery store. Claude and Michelle were very kind and helpful. Very quiet and peaceful.

We've had a great time and we’ve especially enjoyed the pool, as the temperature has barely dropped below 30°C day or night for the week due to the canicule. Our favorites: Best boulangerie: Andralie in Monflanquin, just beyond the Gendarmerie on the road to Villeneuve. There is an Auchan hypermarket just beyond on the same road. Best market: (Sunday) Issigeac. Best night for: Sarlat (Wednesday's), Le Bugue also good (Tuesday's). Best for a visit and potter: Monpazier – old, beautiful and floral. Lots of artisan shops and a long fort (Château Biron). Also, fabulous marché nocturne in Tournon d’Agenais on Friday. We ate from (Gyp?) and enjoyed watching Olympics in cool shady areas.
This is certainly the most tranquil villa I have ever stayed in. The pool and garden are quite lovely. Very hard to pull ourselves away. The area is wonderful. Finally I understand why so many people relocate to the Languedoc-Roussillon.
We have just spent an amazing fortnight at Maison Labarde in Lauzun hosted by Jean and Martyn. The gite is really well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay and is cool inside, even in hot weather. Jean kindly provided many complementary extras for our arrival which was very much appreciated. A great outside kitchen with gas BBQ and additional fridge was perfect for outdoor dining and drinking! The pool was immaculate and cleaned daily by Martyn and there were various floats, water toys and inflatables available; the water temperature was just right- in fact it didn’t drop below 28 degrees for the whole fortnight. We enjoyed the extensive garden using the various seating areas available, all with parasols/ gazebo for shade if needed. It’s a lovely part of France with lots of Bastide towns to visit with markets, fetes and musical events in the summer months, as well as vineyards and châteaux for wine tastings at every turn!! Jean and Martyn were excellent hosts, friendly and informative about local events and places to visit. We have no hesitation in recommending this holiday gite and hope that we can return at some point in the future! Merci beaucoup!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. The owner was incredibly communicative and helpful, the housekeeper really sweet and welcoming. The bedrooms are all simple and clean with efficient bathrooms and gorgeous shutters. The layout of the house and thick walls meant that the bedrooms were cool even in 35 degree heat. The terrace was great for late evening meals and star gazing and the pool provided hours of fun for us all. Charming village, super landscape. Really good for walking or running past fields of sunflowers! We were there for 2 weeks and there was plenty to do. Our children's favourite was the Haunted House in Carcassonne!

Magnificent stone villa - a good welcome for friends and family. An excellent house steeped in history, perfect for giving each visitor beautifully private spaces (with 5 beds and baths), but with room to gather for evenings and fun. During our three weeks, 15 people joined us at different times. Plenty of room to cook together, barbecue, dine outside, in the kitchen, the elegant dining room or by the pool. We had a wonderful days in sun by the heated pool and the house is well equipped. Fabulous design - we just want to know more about the history of the house. Excellent location - with a 5 minute ride (by car) to the village for croissants in the morning, pretty much everything you need in the village, close to the main attractions (15 or 20 minutes from Lascaux - 20 minutes from Sarlat) . We were delighted and thank Pierre and Marie.
Absolutely amazing views. I spent few glorious days in that beautiful villa in South of France. The house has hypnotising views and all the surroundings and accommodation were perfect, modern facilities but still warm and welcoming vibe.
Absolutely beautiful - all of it! I ran in the grounds every morning before it was too hot! Loved the high ceilings and shutters. Beautiful rooms and space for everyone. Loved have the huge living room. Obviously the pool and beautiful surroundings. Fully equipped kitchen and playroom for the kids and adults! Kitchen was brilliant . Loved the range and outdoor dining area next to the pond. Easy to cook for all needs. The owners have been the best hosts (from a distance). Kind and full of knowledge and tips. They have not elevated our holiday. Thank you fo much. I would not hesitate to return!
You can still continue your search for other holiday homes in Southern France, but it's not worth the effort. Thanks to the owners for two weeks of perfect vacation in their charming house, where nothing is missing.
We all had a wonderful holiday and the accommodation suited us so well, we were very lucky with the weather and the pool was perfect, such a great place to relax. We enjoyed eating outside looking at the wonderful views to the Mediterranean.

Firstly I'd like to say that we were very lucky to stay in such a beautiful villa, it was really charming ! The house manager Natalie was so kind too in helping us. She was very thoughtful and helpful. The owner was very helpful too when I needed to contact him regarding something Natalie passed on his number to me and said it was fine). They are a lovely family and again we were very lucky to have found the villa with Pure France!
Wonderful week of weather. Pool was fantastic to have.. really enjoyed the area. Sue, Patrick and Amber were the perfect team! Great hosts + love the area + all the natural beauty. Thanks.
