The house is beautiful - amazing views, wonderful pool, very comfortable beds. We had a fantastic time - didn't see as much of the area as planned - as everyone so happy playing in pool!

Excellent, everything exceeded our expectations. Lovely space. It was so lovely to arrive to hot food after a long journey and to not have to worry about shopping for the first few days. We had a fantastic holiday and will book again for next year. Thank you both so much.
We wanted to find a location that provided peace and tranquillity and allow us all to pause for a while. We sought comfort, privacy and nature and found it all and more at La Metairie de Mespoule. We have just spent two wonderful weeks in late July and early August under the life giving sun of South Western France. We explored the beautiful villages, we ate in a raft of superb restaurants and we came back each day to the enjoy the tranquillity offered by the Metairie. The accommodation is perfect for a family holiday, the kitchen / living area is perfectly appointed and the outside terrace much used by us all. The naturally heated pool is an inspired choice and proved to be very popular with us all as did the BBQ area, the table tennis and an evening game of pétanque on the gravelled driveway. Catherine and Jono are perfect hosts offering as much or as little support and guidance as required – we opted for a private wine tour which was fabulous. We give the strongest of recommendations for anyone looking for a perfectly relaxing holiday.
We have spend a wonderful holiday at the villa. The villa is ideal, spacious and nicely decorated. The children loved the pool and the table tennis table! It is an ideal base to visit the region. The market in Pézenas should not be missed. We have driven a boat, ridden horses and hired bikes in Marseillan and seen flamingoes! Dream holiday. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. Wow! what a start to the summer. Very hot, lovely weather, plums aplenty (from garden trees), walks to Eglise de Senezelles, daily visits to the bakery in Cancon, fab Monday markets, much swimming, pool/snooker, BBQs, card games, a very dramatic thunder storm and 18 wonderful books (from the Bosc Grand shelves) read collectively. The stuff of family holiday dreams. We hope to be back!
You have transformed this building into the most wonderful house and more than that, into a welcoming and comfortable home, in which we feel privileged to have been guests. We lacked for nothing (except maybe a little more soleil and a little less vent). Everyone who came to stay with us expressed their appreciation in a similar vein. Thank you so much. We had the most lovely week at La Chartreuse de Montfort for a week in the middle of September. The weather was gorgeous and sunny during the day but slightly autumnal in the morning and evening, so we ate breakfast outside but dinner inside around the lovely dining table with a fire in the amazing wood burner to give that cosy feeling to the sitting room. As a group of 10 friends, the house was lovely and spacious with plenty of room for everyone to eat, sit inside or out or enjoy some quiet time in the little study as they wished. The views from the terrace are extraordinary! Ever changing - amazing sunrises with the mist hanging in the valley and then the meandering Dordogne river below. The pool was lovely, warm and easy to access but rather nice that it was situated on the lower terrace so you could have a peaceful swim. The house itself it completely private yet only 10 minutes away from the supermarket and the lovely medieval town of Sarlat. So much to do in the area that you are spoilt for choice - castles, walking, cycling, canoeing, gardens, caves and ancient dwellings, markets - and plenty of excellent places to eat - highly recommend Ô Moulin in Carsac for an extraordinary culinary experience. To be honest, though, the house is so well equipped and comfortable, eating dinner ‘chez-nous’ was our preferred option, washed down with excellent local Bergerac wines! Was the holiday long enough? Certainly not! Would we go again? Absolutely, can’t wait!
Hi future guest, The couple who own the property have poured so much love into every corner of the beautiful. home that you can feel it when you stay there. The place is so much more cosy and beautifully designed than the pictures give the impression. During our stay we said we wanted to listen to music and asked if there were speakers onsite. Karen and Russell said there wasn't but then went out and bought a pair for us to use! At one point we were cooking and I borrowed some olive oil, curry powder and a chilli pepper. I wanted to get a guitar and they told me where a fabulous music shop was and I ended up purchasing a beautiful guitar. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt beyond welcome. The place is a bit like a fairytale place, and they made our stay beyond what we imagined. It is an oasis and a sanctuary and close to many nearby sites such as Château de Rene and others. Highly recommend staying here.
My husband and I rented this charming house for 2 weeks in August with our 2 young daughters and we are already planning a return trip next year! Firstly, the pool is stunning. It's huge and spotless and we could barely get the girls out of it! The house is big and spacious and the newly decorated bathrooms made me feel like I was staying at Soho House! The house is situated in a lovely little town on the Canal du Midi. There is a huge wine shop next door and several bars and restaurants within walking distance on the quay. We had day trips to the beach at Gruissan and Leucate which were stunning Mediterranean resorts and barely 40 minutes away.
Lovely location with beautiful views in a quiet and peaceful setting. Fantastic facilities, the house had everything you needed and more, super swimming pool, lovely and warm, well maintained and enjoyed by all the family. Alan and Madeline were on hand to assist at all times, we wish them every happiness in their new life in France.
The incredible thing about this house is that you quickly feel at home there. We are like in a cocoon, magnificent, relaxing, invigorating. We spent 15 incredible days here, a vacation that we will remember for years to come. Amazing corners, an intoxicating sea, enriching discoveries and a group of friends who have become closer thanks to this experience. This villa is of incredible beauty and quality, the breathtaking setting between the view of the sea and the sunset over the Cévennes, the heated swimming pool available at any time of the day and night adds further excellence to the frame. We are here in peace although we have everything we need around, notably in Béziers, Cap d'Agde, Sigean... Spain is very close for an even greater change of scenery. We will return with great joy, thank you very warmly.
Superb architect-designed house, completely renovated, quiet, incredible view from the swimming pool, in short, pure happiness.
A week at the Mas de Pitou was blissful. The house was comfortable and included everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The view of the Alpilles, bright sunshine throughout the house and the fragrance of lavender and rosemary from the garden completed the picture. I will most definitely return to enjoy more exploring of the regions bounty in farmer's markets, Médiéval villages and stunning views.

Amazing house and garden. So comfortable and so much to admire. We loved the garden, the pol and all the wonderful artefacts in the house. We would love to come back again sometime soon.
We loved Le Séchoir we have come home and booked for three weeks again next year. Positioned in the wooded hills above the village of Salviac. It's mixture of contemporary and old was perfect. The house is spacious and well equipped. Whilst the large swimming pool may seem remote from the house it is perfectly positioned for sun all day... that special last swim at the end of the day as the sunsets over the valley and the Rosé waits chilled!
We would like to very highly recommend this grand idillic property in the tranquil rural setting of the Lot Valley. The quietness and peacefulness of the house and grounds is the perfect place to completely unwind, to read, draw, play boules, table tennis or relax with the family by the poolside area. The market town of Villeréal was particularly vibrant and trips into the Dordogne to Beynac for example is only an hour away. There is an abundance of local wines and vineyards to visit with exquisite cheeses and bread from the local markets. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We have returned totally refreshed and relaxed!

Maison does Vignobles is a fabulous place to stay to rest, relax and explore the Lot region. The hosts, Debbie and Rupert, were wonderful - generous, professional and totally welcoming. They supply everything you need and even more, with small surprises provided during our time there. We would highly recommend it and will return when we can.
We were with the family, the house is perfect for that. The bedding of the beds are recent and comfortable. Nothing was missing for our comfort. Fans in every room. Everything was very clean. The house is gigantic but the real plus is the garden and the pool! Large grassy area to play ball, petanque, ping-pong table, vegetable garden... and the huge swimming pool. Many deckchairs and garden armchairs, barbeque, plancha, shade in short all is perfect! Eva and her adorable friend, do not hesitate to ask her for a good address for a restaurant! I recommend.
We just wanted to say we had a wonderful time at the beautiful Richelieu home. Maybe the most beautiful and well appointed vacation rental we have ever had. The property manager, Dawn, was very helpful throughout our stay. We hope to come back again someday.

Special features are the large swimming pool close to the house. Beautiful rural views. In summer there are night markets in surrounding villages where you can buy all kinds of foods, from omelettes to snails, and eat them outdoors on long trestle tables - a treat for locals and tourists alike. A wonderfully relaxing place to stay, highly recommended.
Had a great 2 weeks. All enjoyed Pézenas and surrounds. Visited Montpellier, Sète, Nîmes. Lovely holiday.
