The house is fabulous, well maintained lots of character and charm, but well equipped too for modern living. Beautiful pool and gardens and an exceptional host . We had plenty of sunshine so we were able to really enjoy the beautiful countryside and nearby quaint villages. A really good holiday, thank you.
What a beautiful, well appointed home in a wonderful location. Despite the odd bit of rain we and our guests enjoyed our two week stay immensely. Thank you to the owners who were perfect hosts – helpful, friendly and on hand when needed, without encroaching an inch on our privacy. We could not have asked for more, either of you or of Domaine de Nérige. You have designed the perfect holiday home and we and our guests would have been happy to stay longer, much longer. Beautiful and large residence decorated with care composed of a house equipped with 2 living rooms, a large fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms and as many bathrooms upstairs. A gîte outside with 3 bedrooms and living room, a magnificent convivial room with table tennis, billiards, fully equipped bar and home cinema. Mark, despite the distance, is very responsive and sympathetic. One of his friends came to make sure, the day after our arrival, that we were properly installed. The house is well placed to visit the surrounding villages: Bergerac, Issigeac, Boucle de la Nette, Château de Biron, Villareal ... To be redone in the summer to take advantage of the majestic swimming pool! We STRONGLY recommend!
You could not wish for more in a holiday accommodation. Everything about this place is perfect – the warm welcome by the hosts, the beautifully designed and furnished gite, the very special location and brilliant views over vineyards, forest and softly rolling hills, the helpful recommendations from Esther and Leonard. We only have one regret – and that is that we didn’t stay long enough.
What a lovely time we had! Our two week stay at Le Petit Pigeonnier could not have been better. As others have said, the location is a perfect mix of rural quiet and peace, while being close enough to an excellent bakery and convenient shop. If you are lucky enough to holiday there, don’t miss the wonderful restaurants nearby. Debbie is the most amazing host, always there when you need her and very discreet. Her thoughtful and knowledgeable suggestions added immeasurably to our enjoyment.
Wow… what an amazing villa, it's just so beautiful. We had an amazing family holiday… Debbie and Brent also made our experience so memorable and really have provided a fantastic service.
Thank you Madeline and Alan for being the perfect hosts during our stay at the beautiful 'Camirout'. We had everything we needed for a fabulous stay! The house, grounds and pool are beautiful and it's just so peaceful here. Gavin had the perfect 'big birthday' here too so we will take back lots of wonderful memories of our stay with you. Everything about the property was better than expected. The rooms were large, clean and wonderfully decorated. The beds and linen were first rate. The kitchen and living areas were all well appointed and had everything you need. The laundry room had 2 washing/drying machines ! The salt water pool was wonderful and there was many pool toys, ping pong table etc. The area was wonderful for e-bikes that we rented and we enjoyed the charming villages all within short drive away : Cotignac, La Celle and many more. Thomas, the property manager was helpful and took care of our excursions. The property is very private with lovely views of the mountains and vineyards. Of course the vineyard offers wine tasting and cellar visit. We were 11 family members who could not have had a better vacation. Everything about Les Trois Maisons de Valescure has 5 stars (or 3 Michelins!)
Lovely villa, boys enjoyed the pool and the garden! Had great trips to Montpellier and Carcassonne. Visit Pézenas on a Wednesday evening and visit all of the artisans stores! For beaches the long stretch between Sète and Agde is very quiet.
Beautiful villa in a stunning location. Inside there are large spacious rooms, which are all furnished to a high standard. The property was lovely and clean and well maintained. My husband and I stayed with my daughter and boyfriend, we had the lovely bedroom on the first floor which had a verandah with the most stunning view. I found it difficult to drag myself away from here each morning whilst enjoying my breakfast overlooking the village and church. My daughter had the double on the ground floor which was just as lovely with double doors opening out onto patio area. The villa was large enough for us all to have our own space and privacy. Outside the pool area was stunning, more glorious views. Plenty of sun beds for everyone, a very well equipped area and great pool! I also found it difficult to drag myself away from here, but glad I did as the area is so beautiful. A must is the Gorge du Verdon, the many hill top villages and a visit to the fabulous beaches. After a days sightseeing it was great to come back for a swim before going out to dinner. We did'nt travel far in the evenings as we really enjoyed the hotel in the village. The food was excellent, well presented and good service. Italian was also good. We also enjoyed shopping locally for produce, cooking for ourselves and then relaxing in the garden, followed by a game of boules, what could be better especially after a few glasses of wine! I would recommend a stay here and am looking forward to our return.

Weather lovely watching the house and surroundings. Trip to a little place 45 or so miles away called Coulon well worth a day out there. It was a very pretty riverside town where you could hire bikes, canoes or kayaks or take a leisurely stroll only the banks. Then enjoy refreshments at the riverside bars/restaurants while enjoying the sunshine and scenery. Will definitely visit again. Stayed here many times and never get tired as there is always somewhere new to go and explore (if you can bear ro tear yourself away from here). Thanks Anna and James for letting us use your beautiful house.
The villa was just as described and was perfect in every way. We chose the villa because everything was on one level and the pool and terrace area were located very close to the main house. We had the most wonderful time and the arrangement of the bedrooms meant we had plenty of space to relax in. The BBQ area was well used. The air conditioning was welcomed during the warm Mediterranean nights. It was also the first villa we have stayed in where we were able to walk to the local town in order to buy our daily croissants. The service we had from Pure France and Philippe was exceptional. An incredibly magical week in this very special home. With such a large (chaotic!) group it was wonderful to have so much space that the energetic children had so much to keep them busy and even allowed the adults to feel like they had R and R! Very much hoping to be able to come back and explore more as we enjoyed it immensely!
This is the third visit to the Villa - it's beginning to feel like home! Another wonderful stay- we had great time yet again and sorry to leave the peace and tranquility behind. What you have done with your property is truly magnificent despite the artisans! We enjoyed following your recommendations for places to visit and have navigated our way through the vineyards - thank you for our adventures! We went to Narbonne and saw synchronized kite flying that was really exciting to watch. We will really miss the gardens and pool. Au revoir.

The house is a magical island setting in the countryside, with a wonderful rural and secluded ambiance. The size and comfort are simply perfect. I loved the morning runs in nature and the breakfasts on the terrace. Carelle and her husband are warm and supportive owners. The three dogs present themselves from time to time as friendly travelers. A great experience.

Truly wonderful holiday. We had a truly fabulous 12 night stay in Château Limousin. We were 3 families comprising of 6 adults and 8 children (from 3 to 9 years old). The château and its grounds including the large gated pool are extremely well maintained and everything you could want. The owners were very nice people and extremely welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday... we’d all highly recommend it.
Highlights had to be: pool, Pézenas, people of Servian so so friendly and the table tennis gave many hours of fun and laughter.
A wonderful villa and a great host. We have had an amazing holiday in Maison des Communes and the surrounding areas. Delicious meals at restaurant de la Tour and Pica Pica in Béziers. Some enjoyable cycling and lots of relaxing by the pool (The pool was looked after excellently by the host). Breakfast delivery was a real treat too! Thank you.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maison Estephe and thought the village and surrounding area was one of the nicest places we have been in France. We have over the years been to almost every department in France but never to Pézenas. In fact we liked it so much we are considering a move from The Limousin to the Pézenas area. The house was charming and very comfortable indeed.
This villa is absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the countryside and a luscious swimming pool! The location was great, with a short walk into the local town with a tasty pizza delivery and a lovely brasserie and a short drive up the steep hill to Mougins!
In June, we stayed for a fortnight at La Picholine. In the middle of the vineyards. Plenty of peace, space and beautiful views. The pool is great and beautiful views there too.
