We all thank you for a beautiful holiday spent in your fantastic house. Breakfast in the garden, peace and wonderful flowers - that is what we will always remember. And maybe... we will return someday.
We’ve had a wonderful week lounging by the pool and playing pool and table tennis, (all great for teenagers). Vinsobres is so lovely and only minutes away, Nyons and Vaison were good trips out.
It is early spring. My husband and I decide to go to the South of France for a fortnight. Our eye has fallen on La Picholine. It is in the Gard region and close to nice places. Like Uzès, Nîmes, Avignon. What a surprising place on arrival. Two enthusiastic owners, proudly showing off their new domaine. There are two gîtes. A large swimming pool, several terraces and expansive views. Our gîte is very comfortable. Spacious living room with dining kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bedroom is very spacious with good mattresses. Large bathroom with two sinks. As it can be quite chilly in the evening in spring, this cottage has a wood-burning stove with hot air conditioning. It is comfortably warm then. The garden is tastefully decorated. You have your own privacy and that choice is nice. We had a lovely two weeks here and will definitely come back next year. Fantastic stay in a wonderful house. Wonderful house for 7 people. The rooms were very spacious, as was the outside space. Excellent for families I would say. Very warm welcome by the host and pool was attended to throughout. Nice touch of having towels and bed linen changed during the stay for no extra charge (a first). Many thanks to Victoire and Gaby.
Stunning retreat Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our time in your gorgeous home. We all spent hours in the pool and visited the neighbouring vineyard for some delicious rose, Corinne's daughter Chloe served up some fantastic food and Isabelle looked after the kids while we escaped two nights. It really is a stunning retreat.
Lovely Cottage, perfect for our week in Thonac. Beautiful gardens and pool and excellent location with easy walk to local restaurant.
You have created a fantastic holiday home which we have enjoyed staying in very much. Wonderful time with the big family. The beautiful Château Velouse offers plenty of space for a large family or friends, with a great kitchen, a large dining room and a cozy living room. Almost each of the eight traditionally decorated bedrooms are having their own modern bathroom. The huge park is great for own dogs, which you can easy bring with you.
We had a wonderful stay; the house is very well maintained, spacious and equipped with everything you need. Big garden with lovely swimming pool and stunning views on the vineyards; very peaceful and relaxing. We did a lot of hiking through the vineyards with a lot of different walks. The area has quite some old, nice historical villages, a lot of restaurants with good wines and delicious food. The owners were lovely, always helpful to give tips where to go but also allowing you all the freedom around the house when needed. Thank you for a beautiful, relaxing stay and the warm hospitality.

I just wanted to say that we all found your house to be absolutely lovely. Everything we could have hoped for. So many nice touches, you clearly put a lot of thought and no doubt effort into making it a very special place. We have spent a perfect holiday in Bessan. The house is very beautiful, the children enjoyed the pool everyday. We particularly liked Uzès and Pézenas which really are beautiful towns. Thanks again. See you soon.
Great stay! We were 10 and loved our week Le Mas de Combet. Swimming pool, bar, large kitchen, living rooms, bedrooms with private bathrooms. Everything was perfect, clean, in line with the photos and the host was great in their communication and advice. Definitely won over for future reunions with friends. Amazing stay for our 10-people holidays. From the house to the host everything was perfect. Thanks a lot.
The villa was just as described and was perfect in every way. We chose the villa because everything was on one level and the pool and terrace area were located very close to the main house. We had the most wonderful time and the arrangement of the bedrooms meant we had plenty of space to relax in. The BBQ area was well used. The air conditioning was welcomed during the warm Mediterranean nights. It was also the first villa we have stayed in where we were able to walk to the local town in order to buy our daily croissants. The service we had from Pure France and Philippe was exceptional. Many thanks for arranging our rental of Le Chambarru in Blauzac, it is a tremendous house and we had a very good holiday with our friends from the USA. We enjoyed meeting the owners.
The house was very comfortable and the facilities were great it made a good centre for touring the area so we would be happy to recommend the house to anyone else.
Very private and peaceful place to stay. Great facilities. The house was lovely, clean and spacious with all the necessary facilities. Following the advice re when to open and close shutters etc meant we were able to find shade and cool whenever needed. The pool was also clean and lovely to use - great relief in the hottest part of the day. The boulangeries in Saint Valentine and Bivet were great (as they were everywhere). Intermarche in Bivet proved handy but others available in other directions too. Late afternoon trips to Marseilles, Aix-en-Provence are perfect and parking very straight forward. Morning trip to Cassis to get into the sea was also a great success. Parking there good in the morning but looked a lot busier at later in the day.

Very enjoyable, well kitted and at a logged location for a lazy 'by the pool' sort of break. Love the poolhouse area and very nice interior decor. Gary and Louise were most helpful and we had a wonderful relaxing time. Monflanquin was good fun and we enjoyed the day and night markets. Great for all ages.

You have both been incredible - from your patience over the booking; your reassurances over Covid in France, and the amazing steps you've taken to protect your guests, ( we cannot imagine anyone could do more ), to providing my daughter with a very much appreciated birthday cake ( delicious, by the way ). Always being at the end of the phone and let's not forget the incredible 'Loft' - it is beautiful - calm and relaxing, spotlessly clean. Your attention to detail is excellent. We have all had a wonderful time and return to England feeling refreshed and nurtured.
I really want to keep this jewel hidden for myself! That's great. The apartment is what we all want to have. Two bedrooms with double beds. Beautiful view of the sea from the balcony. Private parking. Private place with chairs on the sea side. Beach club very close. Relaxing and easy to communicate with the owner Paul. Upon arrival, Ben was there with the keys and a lot of advice on the area. Arranged reservation, etc. Very easy to access and super helpful. So don't go because we want to go more often!
Probably the best holiday we have ever had. Taught our boys to dive, caught fish and fully relaxed. Didn't hold back on the French food and wine either.
It has been a great pleasure meeting you both and staying with you. We thoroughly enjoyed our first evening with you both and learning a little about the area. What you have done with your property is truly magnificent despite the artisans! We enjoyed following your recommendations for places to visit and have navigated our way through the vineyards - thank you for our adventures! We went to Narbonne and saw synchronized kite flying that was really exciting to watch. We will really miss the gardens and pool. Au revoir.
