Our stay at La Petite Maison Générille was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us with warmth and genuine hospitality, making us feel instantly at home. The property itself is breathtaking - a perfect balance of elegance and nature. The beautifully maintained gardens, softly illuminated in the evenings, create a romantic and serene atmosphere, while the untouched woodland adds a sense of tranquility and adventure. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the luxurious accommodations to the stunning swimming pool overlooking the picturesque landscape. Whether we were exploring the nearby historic villages, indulging in the region’s incredible food and wine, or simply relaxing on the terrace, every moment felt special. La Petite Maison Générille is more than just a place to stay - it's an experience, one that lingers long after you leave. We can't wait to return!
Wonderful. It felt very safe for the little ones who enjoyed being able to roam free. Very well maintained and everything well thoughout. Perfect set up - a real home from home! We had everything we needed. The pool was a hit with adults and kids alike. The canapés were articularly good and greatly appreciated, they were tailored for a dietary requirements. Briliant week.
The villa has been all we hoped for and more. The accommodation is superb as are all the facilities. What a bonus to have the (choose and order) breakfast deliveries,. The lemon cake was gorgeous. Would recommend the Tuesday market at Clairac Market. Our week was VERY HOT – so we made very good use of the lovely pool. We enjoyed walking / cycling into Mauvezin. The shopkeepers were all very friendly and welcoming. The villa was perfect for our family of 8. Would absolutely recommend it. Merci beaucoup Philippe, superb host and translator!
We had a wonderful stay at La Maison Tolzac. The terrace with swimming pool is superb for enjoying the view over nature and getting enthusiastic about the sunset while drinking a glass of wine offered by our charming hosts. The gîte is also very beautiful and each room has a beautiful bathroom, which is particularly appreciable. However, I would especially like to thank Kim and her husband for their warm welcome and dedication. Top service :-)
We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. Thank you for your welcome.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maison des Cordeliers, it is the perfect location to enjoy peace and quiet after a busy day exploring. We hope to return!
This is our third visit to Villa Kali and we enjoyed it very much as before. We managed to visit L'Hacienda near Bessan and had a most enjoyable evening. Diane is very helpful with any specific dietary requests and it was a bonus that she spoke English. Very happy to say its a 5 from us again. Many thanks.

What a beautiful home. The gardens, view and pool are simply stunning and we have had the most beautiful, restful holiday gazing at the view, enjoying the amazing pool and the delightful sofa which was a great place to hang out in the shade of the Mulberry tree. Marianne [housekeeper] has been marvellous – we enjoyed canoeing on Le Dropt and a trip to Eymet, otherwise we have everything we needed here!

Extremely comfortable and stylish accommodation in renovated old buildings. Beautiful pool area a short walk from self-catering accommodation. Very quiet, perfect for families and couples. A short walk to Montsoreau for morning baguette and a small grocery. This place has everything; comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi and kitchen facilities. Great location in the Loire Valley for sightseeing or relaxing beside the pool.
We had a wonderful stay in Maison Richelieu. The house is extremely elegant and had everything needed. The pool and outside entertaining areas were excellent. It was an amazing house.
We had a fabulous week at the property and could not have asked for a better venue or a more convivial, friendly and helpful host. It was a pleasure to meet you and I can only stand back and admire your dedication, determination and fortitude in creating your dream property which came through so clearly in our conversation on the final morning before we left. It was a good holiday... enjoyed by all... but without doubt the venue and host were the stars of the show and we are so pleased to have had this opportunity to spend time with you and discover the area. An amazing week of relaxation. Spent a fantastic week at Château Velouse. Located in a tiny village the château is just a short drive from lots of interesting locations in the Loire valley. Château Velouse has everything you need for a relaxing week - beautiful bedrooms, lovely outdoor pool, barbeque and al fresco dining area and lovely dining room and lounge. We chose to self-catering but there are options to hire in a chef to prepare meals for your group. There was also lots of information in the château guide about other tailored services that were available such as wine tours. Claire and Phil made sure that everything was perfect for our stay and recommended places to visit.
A perfect villa with a perfect property manager. We are six retired Americans who travel together often. The property manager is most responsive we have dealt with. If messaged at a reasonable hour she respond in minutes. Now add to that a wonderful modernised property in a wonderful location and you get what we got, a perfect vacation. The property manager arranged a driver and a cook and both were outstanding. The property has stunning views and easy access to rail, within walking distance of fine restaurants and the privacy all renters seek. If you are visiting the south of France and you want to be a short distance from all things and a short train ride to Cannes and Nice, you cannot do better than this property and you will not find a better property manager. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.
We wanted to find a location that provided peace and tranquillity and allow us all to pause for a while. We sought comfort, privacy and nature and found it all and more at La Metairie de Mespoule. We have just spent two wonderful weeks in late July and early August under the life giving sun of South Western France. We explored the beautiful villages, we ate in a raft of superb restaurants and we came back each day to the enjoy the tranquillity offered by the Metairie. The accommodation is perfect for a family holiday, the kitchen / living area is perfectly appointed and the outside terrace much used by us all. The naturally heated pool is an inspired choice and proved to be very popular with us all as did the BBQ area, the table tennis and an evening game of pétanque on the gravelled driveway. Catherine and Jono are perfect hosts offering as much or as little support and guidance as required – we opted for a private wine tour which was fabulous. We give the strongest of recommendations for anyone looking for a perfectly relaxing holiday.
We have had a fantastic stay in this fabulous property and wanted to say how much we loved The Loft! It was everything we had expected and more; it is fantastically equipped and we wanted for nothing. Karen and Russell are excellent hosts and we hope to stay here again in the future. We are back home after a very good two weeks. The weather was nice and warm the first week (wonderful for the pool). We drank very good wine and visited very good restaurants. (Franck Putelat in Carcassone, Octopus in Béziers, Cot Mas, Lauzun in Gignac, Presbytery in Vailhan etc). We visited the marches and cooked with excellent and fresh products. We discovered a bakery with wood fire in Canet and visited many beautiful places. With this beautiful house - a perfect vacation. We met Olivier and Raphael - friendly and funny and we drank a beer together. We look forward to returning next year.
We had an incredible family vacation at Château, celebrating the anniversary with a large group. The castle, the other building and the extensive private grounds are beautiful and very relaxing, we had everything we needed and the place was spotlessly clean. The hosts had thought of everything and we can't wait to come back

A superb holiday villa that has the WOW factor. Great swimming pool and poolside area with large grassed area for games such as badminton and croquet for which the equipment is provided. Lovely quiet location with good facilities and things to do a short drive away. Would definitely stay again. Owner very helpful.
We have really enjoyed staying in your beautiful home. We have been lazy and mostly stayed by the pool. We had a great couple of meals in St Émilion and we visited some vineyards. All in all a fabulous holiday. Great hoss, and the house is very well equipped!
Wow, wow, wow – when I first saw the pictures it looked gorgeous, but when we arrived the villa was even more stunning. We have had the most amazing week. Debbie and Brent are absolutely lovely and make you feel so welcome. The grounds were so picturesque. This was our first holiday with our 1 year old baby and we couldn't have wished for a better holiday. Thank you La Bastide!
Wow! What an amazing house in such a wonderful location! We've just come back from spending a week here and I was so sad to leave. The house is incredibly comfortable and beautifullt decorated. You really couldn't ask for a better location - the street is very peaceful (we didn't hear a thing, despite sitting out in the garden until late in the evening, every night) and yet you are in the centre of town within few minutes walk - we loved strolling into the main part of town for an ice cream in the day or a drink at night. Parking is easy; we didn't use the garage in the end despite having two cars between us. The pool is wonderful, especially when its really hot and the decked area and BBQ just make the garden a really relaxing, usable space to enjoy.
Charming place and a charming host. Christophe was so friendly and helpful to us. The house had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. I really recommend this place as a wonderful holiday getaway.

Mission accomplished, we came for a week to rest in a family holiday and we are sad to leave. One week was not enough! Thank you for answering our few requests and we love your villa! We have just returned from two weeks holiday spent at the truly wonderful Domaine de Nérige. The photos on the website are fantastic, but are still not as good as the real thing! There is everything you could possibly want and the comfort is exemplary, but what makes this the very best property we have ever had (and we have had a lot over the years, all over France!) is the care and attention to our comfort and enjoyment from Sandie and David who own it. Nothing was too much trouble and their friendliness and kindness was so lovely that frankly, by the time we left, it felt like we were leaving family behind! Whatever you do, try all of the wines (and beers) handily stocked for you – they are excellent and the food Sandie prepared for us was fabulous - don't skimp on the desserts, you'll regret it if you do! It is no surprise and no mystery that Domaine de Nérige is booked up so far in advance. If you have a bucket list of holidays, put this one at the very top and you will not regret it. We had the most wonderful holiday and unreservedly recommend Domaine de Nérige, as we have to everyone we have spoken to. Thank you so much Sandie and David for letting us live in your glorious home for two weeks, it was unforgettable – just like the two of you.
