We all feel very privileged to have stayed in such a wonderful house. From the start we felt welcome into someone's home, not a holiday let. truly beautiful and calming place to recharge the batteries and visit a fantastic area. Good food, wine and enjoyed by all.

We had a pleasant stay in Helen's accommodation, the outside is very spacious, the pool is very large, the villa is well equipped and spacious for 12. Very responsive and available host, we recommend without a second thought!

Amazing house for outside living ,lots of BBQs and rose on the terrace. Our outdoors loved the walk through the woods and we enjoyed the local markets. Highly recommend L’Effet Maison restaurant in Monflanquin – fantastic food and great wine. Look forward to a new pool side! Thanks for having us!

The villa was absolutely stunning and located in a quiet location as mentioned in the description (the only noise being crickets but that was soothing). The lay out of the house in 3 separate buildings really worked for our extended family group, additionally different areas in the garden in which you could sit enabled people to have some quiet time if needed. I would recommend the restaurants in the village, although be aware they don't open on a Monday. A very enjoyable and restful stay.
Thank you both for a fabulous week. The Loft du Vigneron is superb and so well fitted out. We have never stayed in such a stylish and immaculate property. You were so welcoming and helpful with all your tips and recommendations and we very much enjoyed your company too. Marie-Christine's house is ideal for a family, it is decorated with great taste, modern and airy. It has all the amenities and its location is ideal (supermarket, bakeries, shopping center, city center, train station, etc.) Marie is a charming person. She gave us advice and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend his house which is completely renovated. May 2024 A lovely well presented place to stay with everything you need in a cozy, clean house. Pool was lovely and heated for us even in early May. Close to Carcassonne and loads of nice local walks. Peaceful village.
Excellent holiday stay, villa wonderful, spacious pool, fantastic for weather. Host Lisbeth very helpful, nothing too much problem, always contact by telephone, only used to confirm departure. Bessan pretty village, all amenities here and close to beaches, Pézenas and Béziers. Thank you Lisbeth for 2-week relaxing holiday.
We were thrilled with our stay. Debbie was available and very attentive to our needs. She was very efficient and discreet at the same time. We enjoyed the beauty and silence of the place as well as the very large space with the pool at our disposal. Debbie really made us feel at home. We would like to thank her again for her kindness and the pleasant stay she allowed us to have with our children and grandchildren!
Kim and Christian, with their family, are fantastic hosts! Always available and attentive. The house is the same as on the photos and is ideal for retiring with the family. Thank you so much for yet another fantastic vacation here at your lovely Camirout. This year the weather has been perfect so we really enjoyed our trips to Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, the caves and canoeing on the River Du Auemant-du-Dropt. We will luckily see each other again next year - only 50 weeks to go!
We have at last found paradise in a place we could all share. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, peaceful house. The countryside for early morning sun, endless swim day and night. The bird watching and the lazing in the shade. We had great fun wine tasting locally and having been blessed with stunning weather we have had long al fresco meal every day. I think we have made the most of all the games and puzzles inside and out and no TV! À bientôt!

The property is an ideal place to spend a relaxing, very pleasant stay in the Périgord. Too bad the second week was not available.

The house was spacious and very comfortable. The attention to detail made it feel like a five-star experience and well had a most fantastic and restful nights sleep.
We arrived to the warmest of welcomes from the owners Caterina and Steve, for whom nothing was too much trouble. We have stayed in many lovely places over the years but this place is truly special and a perfect little gem... the interior is beautifully presented with many thoughtful touches, from the fresh flowers to the fragrance sticks... Caterina keeps the place fresh and immaculate, a home from home! Steve works hard to keep the pool and the grounds in tip top condition, which we really appreciated. We had been staying with family in nearby Sarlat prior to our arrival which was rather hectic and we were looking forward to relaxing and having some 'chill Tim'... for sheer relaxation and tranquility this place is hard to beat, in a fab location and we would return in a flash!
Lovely time! Don’t want to leave really. Lots of down time, reading, swimming, lounging about and shopping! Really enjoyed a new area to us.
I think I can speak for all 11 of us in saying we had a wonderful holiday at La Barde once again. I'd never been so early in the year before (in May), but we still used the pool every single day. The advantage of coming a little earlier this year was seeing your garden in full glory and the Dordogne before being 'bleached' by the sun - and we really enjoyed burning logs on the huge open fire in the kitchen every late evening (it's normally too warm for this!). Everything was just right, Helen, as usual (and beds even more comfortable than last time)! I always enjoy the mixture of authentic farmhouse and stylish chic design of La Barde. And it was as peaceful and relaxing as ever - batteries are recharged!
