What a view. A lovely property and we had an amazing family holiday, it's a real home from home. Location is great with lots of areas within easy access. We would definitely book again.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Our stay was as much about the garden as the stunning house, the electronic gate at the entrance worked a treat each time we used it. Three of us each had a bedroom and all the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and lounge were fully equipped so we wanted for nothing. We linked our laptop in to the CD via a two-to-one 3.5mm jack lead which we take everywhere, so were able to listen to our collection of music through quite a reasonable hi-fi system. The large TV, although not HD, was great for any English programmes you just couldn't miss, even on holiday! We made the ten minute scenic drive up to the boulangerie at Bertric-Buree for our baguettes, croissants and pain-a-raisins most days as there are no shops in Lusignac, just a bar restaurant. The croissants were enjoyed sitting outside the kitchen / living room area on the middle floor, which has a stunning view. For our first week, the temperatures were in the mid-thirties so it was lovely to cool off in the pool. With the pool being quite long, you could actually swim, rather than just splash about which was great to keep a little bit of fitness going. Now the garden. As having a very keen interest in natural history, especially butterflies, we contacted the owner and asked if he could leave the grass uncut, so that any wild flowers would be there to attract butterflies for our photography. He duly obliged. This resulted in a count of thirty one species of butterfly just in the garden, with another five spotted whilst out on our travels. Non-British species included Scarce Swallowtail, Swallowtail, Pearly Heath, Mallow Skipper, Map and the star of the show, Large Blue, which were extinct in Britain until being reintroduced recently. The grass areas provided a fantastic environment for butterflies and other insects. This little area truly is a spectacular insect haven. This is without the lavender hedge which runs down one side of the entire drive. No red squirrels, but we watched birds of prey circling as the farmer cut the field in the valley and amongst other species of birds, there were a pair of Golden Orioles which flew by regularly. If you are looking for a modern house in an attractive location with lovely pool, lovely view and ridiculous number of butterflies, this is it!
We have recently returned from our stay in Manoir Coutenson. The house was even better than we anticipated, truly wonderful! Beautiful private gardens, the covered terrace and swimming pool were perfect and we spent many evenings barbecuing and relaxing outdoors. The house itself is extremely comfortable and well equipped, we were so impressed with the kitchen contents, the owners had thought of everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. There is plenty to do in the local area, we hired boats, bicycles, went horse riding and wine tasting at a number of the local vineyards. Saint-Émilion was only an hour away, a memorable place to visit and a very easy drive. We would not hesitate to recommend this property as a holiday home, it's location, facilities and level of comfort were outstanding!
The chalet is ideally located and close to all amenities and activities. We loved the warm welcome, the good advice on the Valley and the places not to be missed. The chalet is a haven of peace, perfectly equipped and intelligently arranged to spend relaxing moments with the family. From young to old, we sincerely enjoyed ourselves and everyone found their happiness. We also appreciated the attention that was given to us on our arrival and with which we feasted. We will be back!

This is a beautiful property and it is well taken care of. We had everything we could possibly think of to enjoy an amazing weekend with family. I imagine this estate as a perfect venue for anything from a group holiday to a wedding. We would definitely stay again.
We have had a great time in your wonderful house. So relaxing, peaceful and quiet.
We spent, with our 4 children, stepchildren and our 2 granddaughters, 2 weeks of extraordinary holidays at Domaine Rabassie, from September 12 to 26. Domaine Rabassie is a magnificent place, a true haven of peace, beautifully decorated and more than comfortable. The photos on the site are already very pretty, but the reality is even better. What about the facilities: the super hyper equipped kitchen, the bedding (super comfortable king size beds), the heated swimming pool and its many sun beds, the pizza oven (homemade pizzas cooked on wood, a delight!), Billiard, the ping-pong table and….. the tennis court with, what's more, night lighting. We played tennis games at all hours…. a real pleasure. We cannot, of course, talk about Domaine Rabassie, without talking about the caretakers who live 2 km from the Domaine. They take care of the Estate with passion and perfection, they are charming and so dedicated. They greatly contributed to the success of our vacation. Many thanks to them. Thank you also to the owner for the hospitality (without forgetting the Blanquette de Limoux as a welcome gift). You feel at home at Domaine Rabassie. Holidays to live or relive without any hesitation.

We stayed at the end of June to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday with family and friends (16 of us). The setting is beautiful and looks out over a valley which is particularly nice in the evenings whilst relaxing on the terrace with a wine or two. We had a fabulous holiday. There's something for everyone at the château, lots of activities in the sports hall to keep everyone occupied but what we especially enjoyed was the vintage swimming pool and the golf course which was challenging but enormous fun. Our week flew by far too quickly and we will certainly look to return. Thank you to the owners Nicky and Richard for making us feel so welcome and for making my wife's birthday such a special occasion.
What a wonderful place to stay, house, pool, night skies and boulangerie 5 minutes away. The extended family had such a good time here. In temperatures of nearly 40°C the castle was still cool but so sad to see the effects of the drought / climate emergency everywhere. Birds needed water every day! Deer by the pool, slow worms and much more.
Weary of election nonsense and pandemic restrictions, we sought respite in France and found it at Colombat Cottage.
We are delighted with our stay in Villa Signado. Quiet, in a green setting, with your feet in the water and under the sun for two weeks... it was great!! This spacious villa and outdoor setting invites to a relaxing getaway. Béziers, Pézenas, Sigean, Cap d'Agde, Sète... detours rewarded by very beautiful discoveries. We will gladly come back!

Our family of five spend an idyllic week at the Mas Paradou; a delightful experience in every way! Every aspect was beautiful and even better than the pictures-- the comfort and design of each room, the artwork and music collection, the well-supplied kitchen, the garden and pool. The owner was very helpful and our arrival and departure went smoothly. The property was well maintained, inside and out. We loved the bikes and helmets! The huge music room and sound system was fabulous! Cooking meals was a great pleasure. The village of Paradou is one of our favorites in all of France and we walked and biked in all directions. We hope to be back for another taste of paradise at this beautiful mas.
Amazing property - very comfortable and well-equipped. We spent an amazing week in Rully. The property is beautifully decorated and a real home-from-home in terms of comfort and the facilities there. The outdoor space is great - four different seating areas depending on where you want to be. Sigrid and her family go out of their way to make sure you have all the information prior to arriving. Can't recommend highly enough.
We all thank you for a beautiful holiday spent in your fantastic house. Breakfast in the garden, peace and wonderful flowers - that is what we will always remember. And maybe... we will return someday.

A beautiful house and perfect for our four generation family holiday. The children loved the pool and the huge range of toys. They spent most of their time in the pool and playing with the garden toys. Beautiful rooms and everything we could possibly need provided. We enjoyed a family walk around the lake followed by an excellent lunch at the restaurant in the museum. Days out to Revel, Castres, Carcassonne and other local villages.
We have had at the perfect family holiday at Le Manoir de Duras. The tomatoes from the garden were a delicious bonus! We all loved the pool and laying on the sun beds late a night watching the stars. Has some great meals in town and daily boulangerie too. A trip to the chocolate factory is a must. perfect on a rainy day for the kids! The house is absolutely stunning. were all agree one of the best places we've ever stayed. Thank you.

Nothing was too much trouble, every request for information assiduously followed up and always discretely so you never intruded on our privacy. Along the way we feel we’ve made a new friend. The property itself is beautiful and immaculately maintained. Equipped with everything we could possibly need, we lacked for nothing. Nestled in amongst the vineyards we were fortunate enough to be there in time to watch and participate in the harvest. You even arranged for us to sample the wines made from the vineyards in the area. It was impossible not to take some home with us. Lots to explore, amazing restaurants, we fell in love with the Lot. We can fully appreciate how this haven stole your heart. Having holidayed over many years in France, this was definitely the highlight of all our travels. Thank you so much for making our holiday so special.

We have just returned from a month in France staying at Domaine de Laure. We had a simply lovely time. Before we went, we did have some reservations about the fact that the property was attached to the owners house. We really do value privacy and experience has indicated that this can be compromised when this is the case. In fact it turned out out that we had the best of both worlds - help whenever we needed it - Pierre and Benedict were charming - and total privacy at all other times. The house is comfortable, clean and well equipped. The king size beds and English TV were a bonus. The pool was clean and well maintained. But for us, it was the location and the total peace that were particularly special - even better than the photographs. The views were beautiful and the grounds very spacious. The only intrusion was the gentle tinkling of goat bells…magic! We have no hesitation in highly recommending Domaine de Laure.
We’ve just come back from a wonderful stay at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious and well maintained accommodation met the needs of our party of 15 perfectly, ranging from ages 1 to 85. The accommodation was even nicer than shown in the photos, as the sitting room had been refurbished. We particularly loved the on site activities (table tennis, pétanque, pool etc) and the sitting area by the pool! There were many thoughtful touches, including toys for younger children, board games and a well stocked kitchen. The site managers were on hand to help with any queries and advise on places to visit. The Manoir is well located close to Casteljaloux for supermarket, shops, market etc and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. We’d certainly love to stay here again!
