We have had a fantastic stay in Rieux-Minervois thanks to your kind and generous hospitality! The Loft is beautiful and filled with everything we needed to have a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The kitchen felt modern and easy to cook in; the beds were extremely comfortable and the pool and garden were splendidly kept. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful property. It was so comfortable and relaxing, with enough space for peace whenever we needed it.
My family and I had a glorious 2 weeks at Maison Charvin. What a fantastic holiday we had. The directions to find the house were straightforward and easy to follow. The house was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need which was a very welcome relief after the long drive. As a keen cook, my partner enjoyed cooking up delicious meals for us throughout our time there. My children absolutely fell in love with the house (they each enjoyed having their own rooms!) and with the pool and didn't want to leave! Highlights from our holiday include: Walking around the beautiful walled city of Carcassonne Climbing up to the ruins of Château de Queribus, one of the Cathar Castles, set on top of one of the highest peaks in the Pyrenees. Breath-taking views and well worth the effort! A once in a lifetime meal at l'Auberge du Vieux Puits, a 3 Michelin star restaurant in Fontjoncouse. Only a 30 minute drive from Mason Charvin. La Franqui – what a fabulous beach. Lovely sea front restaurants and shops. Definitely worth a visit! The pool! The wine! And last but by no means least, Sharon. A fantastic host who continually went the extra mile to make sure we were enjoying our holiday. I cannot rate her highly enough and hope to one day return to Montlaur and Maison Charvin! Thank you, Sharon for sharing your beautiful home and for all that you did for us.
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your house. We did have a great time here with our kids. The weather was splendid. We did enjoy the pool, the garden and the whole mansion. This is a wonderfully quiet place to spend time in provence. Located within walking distance from the many attractions of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence its restaurants and its old town, it is a beautifully appointed home with an inviting swimming pool and check out the new pool shower - delightful. Within easy driving distance are a variety of wineries for your tasting pleasure.
Our stay at La Petite Maison Générille was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, this charming haven blends old-world elegance with soul-warming hospitality. The hosts are the heart of this home. Their graciousness, attention to detail, and open-hearted kindness transformed our visit into something unforgettable. One evening, as we enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace, hot air balloons floateo across the distant sky - the kind of moment that lingers long after you've returned home. The rooms are exquisite-thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, and filled with the kind of character that photographs simply can't capture. It's the kind of place where time slows down and you're gently reminded of what it means to truly relax. We came to La Petite Maison Générille as travelers... and left with new friends and a piece of this village etched into our hearts. We cannot wait to return!

We are a family of 5 with 3 teenage kids. From the first day, we settled in and found it very difficult to leave after two weeks. The owners have not only created a wonderfully rustic house, but it has been very well thought out, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for a family of 5. This is complemented by one of the best settings you could imagine - gently rolling hills set back from a quiet country road. Being a sporty family, we used the beautiful pool every day. Most private pools in France are under 10 metres, so we really appreciated the full 13 metres to swim some laps. Much to our delight, there was an outdoor badminton court and boules area. The big, flat lawn at the top of the property was the perfect place to kick some balls around. The surrounding area is a delight to discover. From limestone caves, to underground churches carved out of the hillside, to charming market towns, to river 'beaches' for cooling off, the area never seems crowded. All this, coupled with the exquisite food and drink from the region (at exceptional prices), makes this an area that the discerning tourist should not miss. We cannot recommend staying here highly enough. The owners, who live next door, are the perfect hosts. They never once intruded on our privacy, but were more than happy to chat and provide advice, if asked. We look forward to returning!
We have had a a relaxing week in this lovely gite. Madeline and Alan are great hosts. Respect your space but on hand for advice, local knowledge and a chat. We enjoyed kayaking on the Lot, exploring the local area on our bikes and enjoyed using the lovely pool each day (our son's favourite part!). We loved our visit to the Latour-Marliac for a great lunch and a lovely walk around the gardens and amazing water lilies. On our last night we had a great meal in the fish restaurant 'Blue Marine', Villeneuve-sur-Lot. We also had a nice meal in the week at 'La Commonderie' at Temple-sur-Lot. A great holiday. Thank you. This property is an oasis of calm, exquisitely redeveloped and fitted out without losing the charm and character of the original distillery. Equipment, facilities, decor and soft furnishings are of the highest standard. The hosts are more akin to a concierge service, generous and make significant effort to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Beautiful cottage. After staying in Maison Meunier last year with the whole family, my wife and I returned this year. It is well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, cooker and BBQ on the terrace. The pool is right beside the cottage and is immaculate. The owners are marvellous hosts and we are looking forward to returning again, next year, for another relaxing holiday.

You really feel like you're in a family home, which is what this house should be in my opinion. The children were very happy to discover a trunk full of toys and cuddly toys, disguises to pretend they were in the Middle Ages, tons of board games, books for young and old and DVDs. The house is made very pleasant by its layout which means that there can be many people while still preserving their privacy. Finally, we enjoyed the breathtaking view every evening of the valley and in the morning waking up to the castle after going to get our croissants on foot. I also recommend the Monday morning market and the many attractions in the evening.
Château Périgord is fabulous. We have all enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend it to others. We would certainly consider a return trip. We thank you again.

This is certainly the most tranquil villa I have ever stayed in. The pool and garden are quite lovely. Very hard to pull ourselves away. The area is wonderful. Finally I understand why so many people relocate to the Languedoc-Roussillon.

An exceptional setting. On a business trip for 3 days, I discovered very pleasant accommodation and two magnificent people. Thanks again to David and Kirstie for their welcome and kindness. The house is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The rooms are large and the beds are nice. The pool is perfect and well maintained and the beautiful large garden with multiple seating areas offers enough relaxation space for a group of 7 or more. What we were most impressed with is the beautiful kitchen with a large range of pans and other kitchen utensils. We love to cook so we were very satisfied with this. All in all, a fantastic house with an attentive host who responds quickly to questions.

This is an ideal holiday home if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing time surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are no other houses nearby, yet you are only a 10 minute drive from the nearby Bastide of Monpazier and larger town of Villareal, where there are shops, restaurants, markets etc. The pool is a good size and well maintained and the house is very well equipped. We have been coming to France for over 10 years and this is the only property which has enticed us back for 2 years running.
We met, as a family of eleven, to celebrate two eighty's birthdays and a twenty sixth at Christmas time in this lovely home,and what a glorious time we had together. Many thanks.
We have had a wonderful week in your fantastic home. It has been so peaceful and tranquil here by the pool. Seeing the amphitheatre at Nîmes and canoeing under the Pont Du Gard were the highlights.
