Lovely spacious house. We loved staying here! The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was big and comfortable :-) The location was really good to. We enjoyed going down to the riverside cafe, kayaking on the river, cycling, sightseeing, eating! We would definitely come back.

The Loire! What an overwhelming heritage. Châteaux, abbeys, caves - and Michel's house is central to all of it. Bourgueil is a charming town with delicious foods and outstanding wines. Every night we enjoyed the pool. Thank you Michel for an exceptional week.
I loved the home cooked meals and riding the bikes down to the river to have a swim. I had such a lovely time. Thank you.
We had a fantastic holiday at Manoir Coteaux. The grounds were ideal for our children and dog to play and explore and the swimming pool was well and truly made use of every day, even on cooler days thanks to the heating! The inflatables were a much appreciated welcome gift and provided no end of fun. The BBQ area gives a superb evening view. We stayed in the main manor and enjoyed the property's character and charm, which had everything we needed. Special thanks to Tracey who prepared several meals in the manor for us to enjoy without hassle of driving to a restaurant. We did venture out a few times and highly recommend Le Lac restaurant at Argenton, especially as it welcomes dogs on the terrace. Elanor, Roger and Tracey really did tend to our every need and gave us good recommendations on things to do as well as sorting any issues we had. This was our first family holiday since covid had curtailed our usual regular holidays overseas. The location and ease of access for us from Jersey now makes a holiday in a rented home in the Loire a very appealing alternative to international travel and we felt quite safe everywhere we went with the measures in place, but also due to the ability to stay away from crowds and enjoy family time in a lovely property. We will almost certainly do it again.
We spent 2 wonderfully relaxing weeks in this beautiful spot. The house was fantastic - spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, super comfy beds and well kitted out with great attention to detail, plus an excellent pool to keep cool in. And those views over the green lake from the outside seating area were stunning! It was a perfect base to explore the area from and we had lots of fun in the lake too, paddle boarding and swimming. Nick and Nicky were absolutely lovely, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Really appreciated the delicious welcome hamper too! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
A brief note to advise that we have enjoyed a wonderful week at Château de la Ronde. It is a very special location and premises of the highest order. Claire is a charming host. We hope to maybe return one day.
We have had a wonderful couple of weeks in Sarlat. Sarlat and the surrounding area has so much to offer. We enjoyed the local markets, a trip to Chateau Der Milandes and of course canoeing down the Dordogne river. The location of the house is amazing, just a few minutes walk into the centre. With the first week of our stay the temperature were in the high 30s and the pool was an absolute godsend-a real highlight for us, we spent many hours just relaxing and enjoying the weather.. The house itself was great and met all of our needs for a two week holiday. Thank you Jackie for all your help answering all my messages. Will be back soon.
We had a lovely stay at Le Manoir de Monflanquin with our family.
The villa is located alone in the middle of the vineyards. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity. Nothing is missing here. For us it was a super wonderful stay.
We had a great stay in this great house. The house is very well equipped and we are very well received. The house has lots of games (billiards, ping-pong, electric train, hut ...) for adults and children, you won't be bored even if the good weather is not there. Finally the swimming pool is large and heated! In short, a great address! Thank you!
Thank you for being the best host ever. You have been so helpful and generous with your thoughtful gifts and help. We've had a super time in the house, made some fabulous meals, enjoyed al fresco dining and of course the pool! We enjoyed exploring especially Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi. Just back from a week's stay at Villa La Baronne. I understand this is a newly renovated property and it is very clear that no expense has been spared on the project. It is a large property that could suit more than one family or a group of friends and can sleep up to 14 people. Every detail has been lovingly considered and stylishly executed. Bedrooms are beautifully appointed with elegant furnishings and comfortable beds. The house has been designed to offer endless activities both inside and out. We were lucky with the weather for October and so were able to use the huge and stunning Swimming Pool, the Jacuzzi, Pétanque pitch and the specially installed Croquet Lawn. In the evening, we took advantage of the cinema and games room, playing pool, table football, ping pong, chess and darts. A brilliant house for families with teens! There is even a huge TV, especially for use with games consoles. The house has a beautiful kitchen, fully equipped with every gadget you could require. Although we didn't use it, there is also a BBQ for evenings on the huge terrace. The property is situated on the banks of the River Tarn and is surrounded by beautiful mature trees and a large garden. It was a very quick and easy drive from the airport and local amenities for food shopping. The local village, a ten-minute walk away, was very quiet but does have a pleasant local restaurant and within a few minutes by car you can access larger towns. In less than 40 minutes we reached Toulouse centre and the beautiful town of Albi and I gather there are many other attractions within an hour from the property. Although we were briefly aware of a party at the neighbouring property, we found the location very peaceful, with lovely dark skies at night for star gazing. The Wi-Fi was extremely good and there is plenty of parking. All in all we would highly recommend this property, which is of the highest quality. Our thanks to the charming hosts.
Lovely house, fab pool and great location! First time to Sarlat and lots to see and do. House is lovely, walking distance to the centre of Sarlat. The pool is amazing and much needed in 35°c heat. Would definitely recommend.
Magnificent winegrower house very well equipped. The garden is very well laid out with several spaces to relax by the pool. We had a very pleasant stay. The owners are very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at your wonderful house. The setting was wonderful and we had a truly relaxing time. The scenery was a joy. We also liked the beautiful village / hamlet with such a wonderful church. We met many French people who were exceptionally friendly. We cooked with all the fresh produce from the markets and ate outside surrounded by hay bales! Thank you for such an amazing week.

The Piglet Barn, an amazing location. The hosts Annie and John were lovely and so welcoming , lemon drizzle cake, nibbles and wine, candles by the door. Would highly recommend for a very relaxing atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for them . Thank you for a lovely week. Linda and Bernard x

Thank you for a lovely holiday in your beautiful house. The pool was perfect as was the weather, so we made full use of it. The BBQ area was great as well and the new fridge freezer with the ice maker was superb. The area surrounding Besson was perfect for exploring on our bikes. There is still so much more to see so I am sure we will be back.
