What a wonderful break away!! Mark and Gary have created a perfect haven…the attention to detail both internally and externally is amazing. Beautiful decor and art in the gite and a stunning pool area surrounded by nature and birdsong- it’s so restorative and peaceful. From the minute you arrive you feel looked after with the luxurious welcome hamper, cocktail on arrival and local artisan soaps and moisturisers throughout the gite. Would highly recommend and will be back!
We had the most amazing stay with some friends in Château Entre-Deux-Mers. I was delighted by the charm of this château. The exterior is traditional. There is a lovely garden with swimming pool. We have some good memories taking an appetizer in the evenings outside! The rooms were spacious and decorated with a superb taste. But most of all : it's situated in the middle of vineyards; so great to do some cycling (bikes are available). So we can certainly recommend this place!

We loved the peace and quiet, cycling around the quiet lanes and watching the kingfishers flying in and out of their nests at the lake. From the moment we walked through the doors of Maison Charvin we knew that this was the perfect house for our holiday – the squeals of delight from the grandchildren (and their parents) at the sight of the pool and the surrounding garden suggested that the house would more than meet the requirements of all three generations of the family – it did this in spades. Owner Ms W attention to details and her anticipation of all of our needs was very much appreciated, as was her additional assistance in dealing with the local mechanic (flat tyre) and dentist (broken tooth) which was above and beyond the call of duty and will not be forgotten – many thanks. We had a wonderful holiday and would have no hesitation in recommending Maison Charvin to family and friends.

We returned after 3 years and so glad we did. Another fabulous time - weather not aways in our favour but didn't stop a great holiday again. Two restaurants we would recommend Le Masion Tourbes - great food, lunchtime was very busy, so get there early - very popular with the French. Saint Germain Hotel - excellent food and value. Best value kids menu we have found and adults set menu was great value and for an extra euro you can get 1/4 litre wine! Hope to return again - Love to all.
Absolutely gorgeous house. Périgueux and Saint-Émilion were both charming - wonderful food, too. Weather has been idyllic and the swimming pool and loungers were a perfect way to relax. We will greatly miss this house and take with us very happy memories of our holiday here.
Wow this house is absolutely amazing. It looks good and it is! Its even better than the pictures show. The house was absolutely immaculate, all of the furnishings were of the very highest quality. Extra bedding, towels etc. Air conditioning in every room. The location is brilliant, really quiet, but so close to the centre of Narbonne. Every thing is just a stroll away. The pool and outside space is absolutely lovely, really restful and again immaculately clean. We would certainly love to be able to come back and stay here again.
Thank you for an unforgettable week! The house and gardens have been a dream. We have been blessed with amazing weather and the pool has made the holiday for the children. We have all had an amazing 3 weeks stay in your beautiful house. Our grand children have all learned to swim in the pool and we have all enjoyed our days out in this lovely part of France. We can't thank you enough for giving us everything we could wish for in a holiday home - you have thought of every home comfort. We will be recommending this as the best place to stay for all.

Stayed here with my grandchildren, beautiful views, huge pool, morning coffee on the terrace was so peaceful. Definitely coming back.
The property is absolutely divine. Romantic and picturesque. A real private get-away in the heart of a medieval hill-top village. We were stunned at how quiet it was and loved sitting in the garden in the morning having coffee. We also loved BBQing in the courtyard in the evenings and sitting out past dark to watch the amazing display of stars! The pool was such a delight and the air-con was perfect for a break from the heat in the middle of the day. While we went on several day trips recommended, the village had so much on offer we didn't need to venture out often and can't wait to return!
