Lovely relaxing holiday. Fab pool! Enjoyed the breeze, so not too hot. Well equipped kitchen super upstairs living room! Enjoyed.
Thank you so much for the most restful and enjoyable holiday we have had in ages! Everything was made so easy for us - the Loft is fitted out perfectly with so many additional little touches that we wanted for nothing. We particularly enjoyed the barbecue, the fantastic coffee machine (we're buying one when we get home!) and having breakfast and dinner on the amazing terrace. We had a good look round the local area and were particularly grateful for all your tips and recommendations. You have both been the most wonderful hosts and we have really enjoyed getting to know you over a glass of something cold! Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you again next year!

Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.
Just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had when we recently stayed at Domaine de Nérige. The house is beautiful, immaculately clean and has everything you could need. The views are fabulous. Sandie is a fantastic host and the food she provided was excellent. We would definitely love to return.
What a beautiful spot. The view from the kitchen was breathaking. It made cooking in the super well-fitted-out kitchen extra enjoyable. We had a precious weekhere with the whole family, from young to old enjoying our time together. There were delicious meals, peaceful morgning swims, mad everyone in the pool swims. We enjoyed visiting Montcuq market so much and visiting the village fair nearby. We wish we had more time here. Thank you so much for opening up your house to us and creating such a well designed beautifully decorated space for people to experience.
A wonderful stay at Domaine du Peyrayey! We were able to enjoy this haven of peace and tranquility nestled in nature. Tennis, swimming, and evenings spent watching the sunset punctuated our stay in the Bordeaux region. Of course, Bordeaux wouldn't be complete without a visit to some of the vineyards surrounding the estate and its surrounding area, as well as a trip to the Arcachon Basin. In short, an excellent way to recharge with my partner and some friends who came to visit us. A huge thank you to Natalie, her husband, and Gloria for their warm welcome at the estate!
I cannot say how much I love this amazing old stone farmhouse; it has been so immaculately restored and is both stylish and supremely comfortable. The gardens are beautiful (what a fantastic collection of Salvias) and the infinity pool, with its view over the surrounding countryside, is a dream ( both for proper swimming of lengths and for sunbathing). I could spend all day here. It is lovely to have a choice of outdoor eating areas for long lunches or relaxing dinners. I love the fact the there are lots of delightful historic Bastide towns within easy driving distance, both for historical sightseeing , fabulous food markets and outstanding restaurants (Auberge Le Prieure at Moirax being my personal favourite !) I have visited the house three times now and each visit has been magic.
A fantastic week at this beautiful villa! we appreciated the warm welcome from Frédéric and the fresh flowers in nearly every room. We made full use of the pool and BBQ and enjoyed watching the sunset in the evening. It is a shame to leave. Thanks!
We had a fantastic week at La Malardier. It has been so peaceful and relaxing pottering around the beautiful garden and swimming in the pool. The weather has been rather mixed but the week has flown by and we are all very sorry to be leaving.

Thank you for sharing your fantastic home with us. Perfect location and layout of the house, with a great outside bathing area to watch the sunsets with a glass of wine. Laprade not to be missed. If you are prepared to drive a little further Issigeac (Noth East of Eymet) worth a visit with a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Big thanks to Olivia, always on hand to help. What an amazing week in a stunning home. The house is exquisitely designed and the attention to detail is fantastic. The views are beautiful and the area so quiet and peaceful. I slept in one of the bedrooms on the ground floor and had the best night's sleep I've had for years… the mattress is heavenly. Not many people can lie in bed watching red squirrels leaping through the surrounding trees can they! The small kitchen area on the ground floor along with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms means the whole floor can be very separate and quiet if two families were to share the house. The middle floor is a great entertaining space with a spotless and very modern kitchen with dining / living area leading out to the garden and pool. It was a real treat to have the local bar / restaurant within a short walking distance. It's very easy to sit and enjoy the local wine! The one thing I hadn't bargained for was the abundance of wildlife, although with the roads being so quiet I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised. The red squirrels and deer can be seen from the balconies and fantastic infinity pool overlooking the valley. The cushions for the outdoor furniture are very comfy. Once again, there are various areas to sit / eat and enjoy the garden if different age groups or families stay here. So to sum it all up…a fab holiday home in beautiful surroundings – 10 / 10. PS If you attempt the puzzle in the games cupboard… start it as soon as you arrive because it's tricky but irresistible!

Perfect family retreat First time visiting Charente and we could not have been happier with La Charmante Distillerie. It was ideal for my grandparents with bedrooms on the ground floor and easy walking to a beautiful terrace and pool. The Gite is located in a forest and the views are stunning. The focus on sustainability was good to see, especially all the fruit trees and herbs for cooking. Mark’s attention to detail was superb and he was so helpful with recommendation and local knowledge. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend as a tranquil getaway.
Russell and Karen are phenomenal hosts. The whole stay here has been magical. Two of the most helpful and loving people you will meet whose love is felt throughout every inch of the property. STAY HERE!
We had a great one week vacation in Maison Lemance. The house is fully equipped and you will find everything you need in the kitchen, games room for the children, great pool and even a ping-pong table. There is a big and beautiful garden that is great for the children to run around, while we were drinking wine on the balcony. The owner left us a list of recommendations for activities and restaurants in the region which was very useful. We highly recommend staying in Maison Lemance.
We spent a relaxing week at Maison Rohmer near Gordes. It was down a very private road and not overlooked by other properties. Very tastefully furnished with everything we needed and more! Just lacking an upstairs toilet in the master ensuite. Gorgeous big pool and we managed to swim in it despite it still staying chilly even in hot July. Lovely area a short drive to beautiful Gordes and other towns and markets. Definitely recommend a stay at this lovely home.

We’ve had such a fabulous week in this beautiful farmhouse. It’s very difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool, tennis court and, for some of us, the gym. The location – we thoroughly enjoyed the markets, Chinon and the woods – as well as the beautiful piano and luxuries of the house, have made this a truly memorable week for us with our grown-up children and their friends.
