My family and I enjoyed a very relaxing week at this beautiful and luxurious house. We thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous swimming pool every day. Our children, aged 3 and 5, also had a lot of fun running around on the large grounds around the property. Debbie and Rupert are wonderful hosts, suggested lovely places to go and activities we might enjoy and we couldn’t have asked them for anything more. Our favourite places in the surroundings included Belaye for stunning panoramic views, the market in Cahors, Château Eugénie for a lovely wine tasting, Capnature for some fun activities such as Accro-branches (the equivalent of Go Ape), and boating on le Lot river… We loved our stay and hope to come back soon!
Peaceful location with beautiful views. The building has been really thoughtfully renovated. The open nature of the outdoor area meant you could always choose to be in/out of sun, always a breeze. A fab place for a family holiday. Great for cycling, locals super friendly. Delicious food and wine. We will definitely be back! We recommend the closest town, Monségur, the most for food, drinks and ambience. The local wine co-operative were also very friendly with great recommendations. We also recommend La Salle a Manger for food or just for a drink.
We have had an amazing time and are very sad to have to leave! We have loved our time lazing by the pool and leaving all the stresses of our normal lives far behind. The owners have been perfect hosts. and the house has had everything that we needed. We really enjoyed visiting this part of France for the first time and would recommend all the beautiful Bastide villages. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can come back!
Just wanted to follow up to say how great it was at Maison Brunet. We really enjoyed our stay. The house , especially the kitchen were well equipped to enjoy the local food produce. The house was spotless on arrival and is decoratively finished. The pool was refreshing, clean and a great benefit during the warm summer days. We were a family of 5 with a dog and all had a great time at the house with the gardens and grounds. Thanks.
A lovely family week in this perfect house in an idyllic situation on the edge of the charming village of Cucugnan. The house is well-equipped and the pool is fabulous! The barbecue and table-tennis also much appreciated. The house is a short walk into the village where we visited two bars and an excellent family -run restaurant (Auberge du Vigneron). Also enjoyed ‘Burger Friday’ at the bar. The village shop has all the basics. We also did a ‘degustation’ (wine-tasting) in the village and visited two of the nearby fascinating Cathar Castles – there is plenty to do in the area but the house is also perfect for relaxing. We will be back!
We celebrated a week's holiday with 6 adult children and 2 grandchildren. The house is equipped with all modern conveniences, has a beautiful and complete interior, but still has an authentic appearance. The space in and around the house is gigantic and there is plenty of entertainment for everyone: from a nice swimming pool with many sun loungers to a room with numerous games and a good tennis court. Highly recommended for a family holiday. We will definitely go back again.
House was spotlessly clean as was all bedding. Absolutely first class. You have thought of everything that a family with young children could possibly need and want for. Catering very good - delicious. You were so helpful with all of our queries and went above and beyond to help.

We have had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We appreciate how clean it was when we arrived (thanks Yvonne) and the wine. We love the decor and period furnishings. The pool and small barn were great. It was interesting to hear about the history and previous occupants of the house from Bob and Margaret, the English neighbours across the road. Thanks. After a two-year pause in our travel arrangements we couldn’t have been more delighted with our visit to the Loft du Vigneron. It was everything - and more - than we had hoped for. Amazing property - very comfortable and well-equipped. We spent an amazing week in Rully. The property is beautifully decorated and a real home-from-home in terms of comfort and the facilities there. The outdoor space is great - four different seating areas depending on where you want to be. Sigrid and her family go out of their way to make sure you have all the information prior to arriving. Can't recommend highly enough.
Thank you for a wonderful two weeks at your beautiful home, we fell in love with Les Marquises as soon as we stepped out of the car the gorgeous gardens, plants, flowers and the views! Then the house where to start, the clever beautiful sense of style and decoration in every room is enchanting, warm and welcoming and although we enjoyed visiting Nyons, Vaison la Romaine and Orange, the best part of our holiday was just relaxing around the swimming pool and enjoying this outstandingly beautiful place. A lovely base for our 2 weeks! The outside covered area + kitchen were great. We spent most of our stay set there watching the amazing wildlife! We saw deer, lizards, hawks + even got to see the baby birds nesting over the door to the outside loo leave the nest! Monflanquin was beautiful! Cathy + Stéphane were lovely + we loved watching Stéphane's 2 CV car driving around! Thank you.
Better than it looks in the photos. We are a fussy family from Guildford - this villa ticked all our boxes and more. Comfy beds always a must. Seillans is a picture postcard village. Back soon...
To begin with, the place is simply magical. It allows you to experience what castle life is. And above all, the quality of the guests' reception is simply exceptional. The space available is very spacious, the quality of the property is perfect.

We had a lovely time at your house, we really like Pézenas and the surrounding area. The house itself was superb and very well equipped, we and our 18, 20 and 21 year old children were very happy. Being able to enjoy the shops and restaurants in Pézenas then wander back to the tranquillity of the house made for a great holiday.
We absolutely loved being here. The home you’ve created is a beautiful entity, with such thought at every turn, and the surrounding gardens have a tremendous sense of peace. Thank you for all the well-planned details, and the delicious tart that awaited us (and therefore an introduction to the most incredible boulangerie!). We leave with a filled-up nourishment, and hope we can come back. Wishing you both a peaceful and joyful year.
Our week at the villa was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived we were struck by the peacefulness of the surroundings. The villa itself is beautifully maintained. It was very windy during our stay and Philippe came each morning to clean the pool! We spent hours in the pool - it is just beautiful! Every day brought a new adventure – the wine tasting tour at Le Cave was really interesting (although we did end up spending a fortune! Philippe was just the perfect host – so lovely. The pastries delivered twice weekly were lovely and a huge thank you to Philippe for the birthday cakes for my husband's 60th on the Friday! The meal at La Tour was just amazing – so much so we decided to return for birthday celebrations. It has been the kind of stay that recharges you in every way. We are leaving relaxed, inspired and already planning our return! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a serene French escape paired with genuine and caring hospitality! Thank you so much Philippe – we are so so sad to be leaving but wonderful memories made!
The host met us on arrival and not only gave us a tour of the apartment but also the entire building and surrounding areas. The apartment was spotless, beautiful modern design with all amenities and so close to the beach. Most importantly for us it catered to a young baby with a high chair, cot, baby bath and even bath toys. Finally the location is immense if you wish to explore the French Riviera. We did day trips in our rental car both East and West from the apartment including Eze, Cannes, Antibes, Nice, St Paul de Vence, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Menton, Monte Carlo and Cap Ferrat. Thank you for giving us a perfect holiday.
Wonderful! We just loved our week at this fabulous home. We are a Canadian family of 8. 5 adults and 3 kids ( ages 13, 10 and 9). After eight days in Paris, this was the perfect place to chill. The setting is fabulous. We had a spectacular view of Grasse and the surroundings and we enjoyed many glorious sunsets. The patio area really was the winner. Spacious with lots of room for everyone. The house was very well equipped and the owners were very responsive to any little concerns or questions we had. Great pool. Kind hosts. Highly recommended.
This has been unforgettable and we will treasure it forever and ever. Frederique, your taste and design ideas in the Chateau are just one of a kind. You have inspired us with your interior ideas. We are very sad to be leaving and going back to the not so beautiful England!
We had a great stay everything was there the calm, the sun, the pool, a super well-equipped cottage with enough to take good walks. We met many animals,,deer, owls, egrets and especially donkeys for the great pleasure of the children. A pure family moment very revitalising. Thank you very much for your welcome.
