We spent a week at Le Borghesia this winter and have excellent memories of it: a typical house of the Périgord Noir with its huge fireplace and its tastefully renovated golden stone, all the modern comforts and necessary equipment. Large garden where the children could have fun, calm surroundings and proximity to Sarlat, La Roque-Gageac and some of the most beautiful castles and villages in the region, availability and kindness of the owners, we can't wait to come back!

We loved our stay - we were in a mixed group and it worked really well as each couple had their own space and privacy, but there are wonderful spaces for entertaining as a large group. The pool area is stunning and the setting is calm, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed taking the bikes on trips to nearby villages too!

Our stay with friends in Duras in August 23 was exceptional thanks to this large house made for moments of sharing. Indeed the house is very spacious with sufficiently separate spaces for everyone to have different activities. Several differently exposed terraces allow you to enjoy the outdoors at various times of the day. Our children enjoyed the swimming pool as much as we did, the security system of which is very reassuring. The house remains cool despite the heat and its well-equipped kitchen allowed for real convivial moments preparing meals. Finally, the house is ideally located, in the very pleasant village and at the foot of the magnificent castle. An enchanted parenthesis to share with family and friends.
We have just returned from the most wonderful holiday in an equally wonderful house La Barde. The owner greeted us warmly and had also baked us a cake which was unexpected but so appreciated. The house is absolutely beautiful and large, spacious, tastefully furnished rooms allowed everyone to gather or find a quiet area. The house is exceptionally well equipped and mirrors and sockets perfectly placed for hairdrying, a very important feature! Fabulous good sized pool with enough loungers for all. We were 8 strong, 2 sets of parents with our 4 grown up children (18-25). We all agreed that this was the best house that we have rented ( and we have been renting lovely houses for many years). The owner was simply delightful and we would see her from time to time cleaning the pool early morning. Ideally situated for nearby towns of Aubeterre and Bourdeilles and some lovely walks directly from the property too. We would not hesitate from returning to La Barde in the future and think it would be ideal for all age groups.
We have returned! Even more enjoyable this year, weather and pool fantastic. The villa is close to perfect.
Maison does Vignobles is a fabulous place to stay to rest, relax and explore the Lot region. The hosts, Debbie and Rupert, were wonderful - generous, professional and totally welcoming. They supply everything you need and even more, with small surprises provided during our time there. We would highly recommend it and will return when we can.

We had to wait a long time for our much anticipated return visit to your wonderful villa - and it did not disappoint. We have had the best time, Sophia enjoyed the pool (as we all did). Great place to explore this fabulous area, a boat trip to Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud plus two beaches. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us. We very much enjoyed our stay at your beautiful villa, thank you. We had a hire car so were easily able to explore the gorgeous local Languedoc region. Close by we had a wonderful time at the Seigneurie de Peyrat enjoying the choir of cicadas during our 'PIQUE-NIQUE CHIC' experience which was interactive and fun! We also hired a chef one evening to cook for us at the villa, which was a great success and truly delicious. Wishing you a successful Summer 2022 season and hope to see you again soon.

Vouvant is a delightful village with its interesting history and vibrant community.The guided walk of the village is recommended as well as a visit to the zoo - great for kids. We had the most wonderful week at Maison des Communes. Philippe was charming and very helpful and informative in his welcome and what a lovely surprise to see a beautiful array of cheeses and wines awaiting us! The villa is extremely well furnished and supplied, a delight to relax in and very well situated for exploring the region and nipping down to the many beautiful beaches along the coast. The three different accommodation areas were absolutely perfect for our party of eight, allowing privacy and relaxation for everyone, although most time was spent round and in the lovely pool and letting the nights darken as we sat sipping the local wines in the various outside areas. There is much to do and see in the area and the villa was a real haven to return to each day. What a great week: fabulous breakfast treats, elegant and artistic furnishings, glorious heat and sun in late August and the happiest of holidays. Merci beaucoup, Philippe!
Thank you for a lovely stay. The house is so comfortable and a great base to explore the region from. Highlights were Dinan, Le Mont-Saint-Michel and Faugères. We also loved driving through the countryside. The boulangerie in Bazouges-la-Pérouse was fantastic! We loved the welcome basket - it was such a thoughtful + helpful gift. Great location, on the beach with great access to activities. Parking is great. Everything was perfect from pre check communications through check out. Loved the apartment and overall vibe of staying on the beach with all the fun activities, shops and markets. Great for walking. The beach and water are fantastic!! The apartment is perfect. Immaculate apartment, great location. Very central to everything you could want.
Very atmospheric, beautifully quiet, well equipped villa. Great pool and ideal for a large family stay. Nice market found 9 km to the left, at the bottom of the hill. Great local scenery, walks and bike rides and easy driving! Pool is fantastic and clean. Lower floor really cool when it gets hot! We've all had a great relaxing time!
