A fantastic stay in a beautiful villa! Whilst parts of France may lay dormant, this region has tons of activities to offer Canoeing, walking tours of picturesque Pezanas, renting bikes at Lac du Saligou and if you're slightly odd a cracking gym 'area gym' just down the road.
You have created a fantastic holiday home which we have enjoyed staying in very much. Thank you for your warm welcome, generous hospitality and advice about what to visit / where to eat in the Minervois region; it has been greatly appreciated. We wish you all the very best for your exciting future plans and hope to be back in the next few years. Thank you for letting me play with your lovely dogs, Mack and Mabel. An idyllic month! The farmhouse is lovely, cool inside and beautifully equipped. Everything worked perfectly, even the Wi-Fi for the numerous zoom meetings we both had in England. The summer kitchen and pool were a godsend, yesterday was 48° in the sun! Insane temperature but we coped well, including Harry, our black Labrador who always love being outside normally could hardly be dragged away from the cool tiles on the floor! Harry swam too in the Lot and various lakes nearby - very useful. We loved it so much, we are looking for a month next year. A huge thank you to Stéphane and Cathy (and Jean Luc) who looked after us and the pool and house so well. The area locally is so friendly and we have met some lovely people - at the Wednesday night market in Salles, walking Harry at 7 am in the morning (Mike, not me!) and on various visits to Monflanquin and other local bastide villages. 14th July celebrations last night were greatfun too. Vive la France! With many thanks again.

Fab house! What a lovely property! Lots of space. We were a big family group, mixed ages. The pool was a godsend as the weather was tres chaud! Beautiful sunsets. The place was very well equipped. The owner was very communicative and helpful to my queries. Nothing was too much trouble. Really nice to receive some wine and coffee on arrival too. What a wonderful holiday we have had! A wonderful relaxing part of our trips spent in Montsoreau, living the dream! While really enjoying the local cafe/restaurants we made great and regular contact with the local boulangerie, boucher and wine producer who are all starts of their trade. Living local in Montsoreau for 2 weeks was great fun and delicious and... the accommodation provided us with the quiet and rest we needed. Spacious and with a place to read and watch the river on the terrace. Thank you.
We had a lovely week at Mas de Rivailles and would absolutely consider returning. The photos do not do the house and grounds justice. The property is beautifully presented and is very well-equipped. We enjoyed the morning walk to the local boulangerie over the fields. The pool was lovely and our older teenage daughters enjoyed the games room. We're reluctantly offering a review as we don't want the property to be fully booked for next summer... Frederic the property manager was very attentive but not intrusive with high quality prompt communication. We would rate Mas de Rivailles 5 stars.
My husband and I had a wonderful week at the Maison Estephe. What a wonderful home, it was very enjoyable to stay at an unusual home! We had everything we needed and the home was very tidy and clean. Thank you again for letting us stay at your home.

A truly magical week in the most magical Château – in a magical setting. Absolutely wonderful week. Everything was perfect – thank you very much to all the staff who looked after it all. We have had a wonderfully relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable two weeks at this beautiful gite. It has been fantastically and sensitively renovated both inside and out. The pool is an absolute joy to sit by and relax, read and take in the scenery! Also, Pete has been an excellent host, a mine of local knowledge. We enjoyed visiting Monpazier, Issigeac, Villereal and Sarlat.

La Charmante Distillerie is a wonderful holiday venue. Situated in the heart of the French countryside, but 10 minutes away from a busy and enchanting town. Mark and Gary are perfect hosts, completely non intrusive but immediately available to offer the best advice on local places of interest, restaurants and generally help. The interior is stylish, the artwork beautiful, the furniture very comfortable and the bedrooms perfect. Six adults and three children occupied the property for a week. The hosts catered for our every need, even buying new toys for our 9 month old grandson. At no stage did La Distillerie feel crowded. The swimming pool was heated and my three grandchildren were continuously swimming and playing in the dedicated play area. Me and my family can absolutely recommend La Charmante Distillerie.

Had a lovely restful week here. Kids spent 90% of their day in the pool! A few trips out, one to Olonzac market and the beach, but best days spent at the villa. Stunning views and so peaceful. Enjoying cooking diner and the kitchen has everything you need. Off North in the camper van tomorrow to continue our holiday but will miss the luxury of the villa.
High quality rental for 1 week with our friends and family. Ideal for a week of rest with the children. Large property with enough to take care of and walk around. Ideal to discover the calm of the region. I highly recommend!
Relaxing, quiet, perfect for families or a group of friends. Beautiful views, light airy rooms, all rooms with ensuite shower room (1 with bath), outside area to eat and pool to cool down. The lady who looks after the villa was very helpful and friendly.

Absolutely stunning château, beautiful inside and out with everything you need for a relaxing and luxurious holiday. Lovely quiet setting but close to pretty villages with bustling markets and restaurants. Great for large families or groups as there is plenty of room but also has wonderful communal areas - particularly around the pool, the tennis court, pétanque court and dining in the idyllic front courtyard. Grounds to stroll around, with river and shady trees- a classic slice of French heaven!
What an amazing place and fantastic hosts, Hugh and Ian have given our family the perfect holiday. Thank you so much. The kids said the pool is amazing and really loved the salt water which didn't make there eyes sting like normal chlorinated pools. Oscar your adorable dog was also a big plus for Lara!
So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. Thank you for a lovely stay at Mas des Rivailles. Our family of five stayed there for two weeks in August 2023 and we had a great time. It is very spacious and modern, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The pool temperature was perfect and we found the salt-water quite pleasant. The sun loungers and pool set up allowed for relaxing moments poolside and we especially appreciate the very large games room with table tennis, billiards and football table as well as numerous toys for our three children. The bedrooms were clean and fitted with quality sheets and soft towels as well as sufficient storage space for our belongings. The laundry room/pantry was also very helpful for storing food and washing our clothes with ease. Frederic was helpful and attentive as always and made our stay very comfortable, bringing over extra fans when we requested as our stay coincided with a heatwave. The proprietor's family who live on the farm next door were very friendly and helpful and responded to any issues we had. The location of the house is also convenient for exploring the region with many interesting towns and activities a short drive away. We would definitely recommend! Thanks again.
