60th Wedding Anniversary, clan gathering 3 generations... and... Richard and Gay entertained us royally in their 'new' home. How could they bear to leave Le Malardier... Great boon was the virtually total absence of wasps and flies. Here's to the 65th!

Les Chapoux is truly a terrific holiday destination, the property is located in a lovely area and it is easy to access local towns and villages with supermarkets in easy reach. As to the property it is charming, there is plenty of room with comfortable beds and all the amenities you could need. The pool is great and the 3 generations of our family spent many an hour in and around it. The owners are very helpful and made us feel most welcome. Definitely one to visit.
We thought this was the perfect setting for our extended family holiday. We had long lazy days by the pool, some nice days out to the bastide towns and alfresco dinners followed by games We rescued several frogs from the pool! There were plenty of distractions in the house for every age and we found the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Fabulous weather for two birthday celebrations and we found it to be a very peaceful and idyllic setting. Amazing house! We all made amazing memories and had a great time.
Now we are back from a fabulous holiday staying in Grand Mauran, I just wanted to say we had a wonderful time. The house was perfect, it was so well equipped and had everything we could possible need for a holiday with a baby. Having the pool heated was a real joy. All the instructions were good and our questions were answered very promptly. We definitely will be back.
Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful house with us for our honeymoon. We have had a wonderful time exploring the Loire valley, highly recommended, we even got to spend 3 days by the pool! The garden is simply stunning and is a real credit to your hard work.
Our stay was perfect, the house was spotless, all the comforts we needed and everything was new. Eva advised us on lots of things, the contact was perfect, always attentive and caring. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.
What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. We had the most magical week at the enchanting Château Mabrouke. A beautiful house with outstanding facilities set in a most stunningly unspoilt expanse of French countryside. With some gloriously grand rooms in the château, immaculate gardens and seemingly endless out-buildings, Château Mabrouke still had a wonderfully homely feel to it. We enjoyed days spent splashing in the pool, long lunches and drinks with a view. And a couple of nights of being cooked for and hosted by the lovely Martin and Philippa were an absolute treat. Visits to the nearby pretty towns of Foix and Mirepoix were lovely and other places to recommend include the stunning Montsegur and some interesting prehistoric caves near the charming town of Mas d'Azil. All in all a most heavenly escape. We look forward to returning.
Thank you for being the best host ever. You have been so helpful and generous with your thoughtful gifts and help. We've had a super time in the house, made some fabulous meals, enjoyed al fresco dining and of course the pool! We enjoyed exploring especially Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.

Another lovely holiday spent in this area. The house was all we needed, just as the photos and descriptions had shown. The standard of the house and grounds were fantastic. Often in France the pools may be a little walk away from the house/outdoor living areas but this was a fantastic layout for all to enjoy all day and evening. The pool was the best part, fantastic condition and provided hours of fun for kids and adults alike as did the games room. The house was very spacious and all facilities/equipment provided were ideal. The little walk into the village across the fields for our morning bread and cakes and the close proximity to Duras and Eymet (the towns we enjoy visiting) meant this was a great location.
We have had a fantastic stay in this fabulous property and wanted to say how much we loved The Loft! It was everything we had expected and more; it is fantastically equipped and we wanted for nothing. Karen and Russell are excellent hosts and we hope to stay here again in the future. Thank you once again for your hospitality and for the lovely birthday cake and wine. Wishing you a fabulous season and success in your plans for the property and grounds.
Wonderful week in a great villa. Kids loved the pool and Pézenas is a lovely little town.
My wife and rented Maison Rohmer for a month. the owner who lives in London was accessible by phone, she was absolutely fantastic, very helpful and was there for us by telephone if we had any questions. the location is in the country, very quiet and in a great location for discovering Luberon, hill towns, scenes to sketch and paint, some level dedicated bike trails for bike riding (can rent in Coustellet), so all in all a wonderful experience, the inside of the home was very comfortable, sizeable rooms, great shower, so now hesitation whatever to anyone who is looking for a place in the country side with a pool.
The villa has entirely been renovated, very well designed and equipped. It is located in a small village only a few kilometres from Pézenas. Quiet and relaxing area. Excellent stay.
Great stay! We were 10 and loved our week Le Mas de Combet. Swimming pool, bar, large kitchen, living rooms, bedrooms with private bathrooms. Everything was perfect, clean, in line with the photos and the host was great in their communication and advice. Definitely won over for future reunions with friends. Amazing stay for our 10-people holidays. From the house to the host everything was perfect. Thanks a lot.

A lovely base for our 2 weeks! The outside covered area + kitchen were great. We spent most of our stay set there watching the amazing wildlife! We saw deer, lizards, hawks + even got to see the baby birds nesting over the door to the outside loo leave the nest! Monflanquin was beautiful! Cathy + Stéphane were lovely + we loved watching Stéphane's 2 CV car driving around! Thank you.

We had a great stay in this great house. The house is very well equipped and we are very well received. The house has lots of games (billiards, ping-pong, electric train, hut ...) for adults and children, you won't be bored even if the good weather is not there. Finally the swimming pool is large and heated! In short, a great address! Thank you!
Beautiful setting and the grounds are marvellous. So relaxing and the pool area is perfect for long sunny afternoons. Kitchen is really well appointed. Bed linen feels fresh and your home is spotless - a big thumbs up! Playroom was a huge hit. You have a wonderful property, but your kindness and generosity of spirit went a long way in making us all feel very welcome.
We enjoyed a very happy week at the villa. The only problem was that the villa is so nice that most of our plans for getting out and about were abandoned! We loved the privacy of the garden and pool area.
