Thank you for a much needed relaxing couple of week. We very much appreciated your kind consideration for our comfort. This has been our first escape from London for three years and it certainly did not disappoint. The high temperatures slightly constrained our ambitions, but Camirout is a holiday in its own right! The Garden Cottage is exactly as described. It oozes charm, character and good taste. It was spotlessly clean. The large swimming pool and patio area is beautiful, private and well maintained. The cottage is very conveniently located, being a pleasant walk or a very short drive to Thonac village. There one will find a good pizza restaurant / bar, a hotel with both a garden and indoor restaurant and a small supermarket. Two large supermarkets, pharmacy and petrol station are just five minutes drive away at Montignac. This is a very nice small town to visit and where one buys tickets for Lascaux. The cottage is perfectly situated to visit the numerous places of interest in the area and the owners have provided an information brochure of local markets, events and places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 week stay and found the owners discreet, charming and helpful. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending the property to couples who want a completely relaxing and comfortable holiday.
Beautiful house, even more beautiful than in the photos! The exterior is magical, the house is super clean and very well-equipped, the decor is neat down to the smallest details and very elegant. Gabian is a charming village. We'll be happy to go back to this little paradise whose hostess is adorable.

We have enjoyed several wonderful visits to this most delightful property set in bucolic rolling countryside. The house is elegant and extremely comfortable, giving maximal privacy inside and out so that guests can enjoy the peace, whether swimming in the lovely pool, or just relaxing in shade or sun. There is also a lovely terrace for al fresco dining and a fabulous collection of books. The creation of the gardens is masterful . We loved the nearby market in Condom and the creamy stone architecture of the area.
Villa Bellara is a lovely property and a great place to stay. We would certainly recommend it! We were greeted by the very pleasant owner, Jean Luc, who was a wonderful host and provided lots of information on the villa itself and surrounding areas. Villa Bellara is a private gated property situated in a quiet residential area. The location is uphill, from the beachfront; and there are several good supermarkets with fresh produce nearby. The local train station is a short walk away which is great for exploring the nearby sights of Nice, Antibes and Monaco. The villa is very comfortable and spacious, with plenty of different spaces inside and outside for the family to relax either together or in smaller groups. It is well maintained, clean and well furnished. It has a great modern kitchen which is well equipped. Ice on tap and air conditioning in all the bedrooms too. The Wi-Fi for the teens was perfect and the UK TV was a nice surprise.
This villa was the perfect place for a two family holiday. The pool was very cool and refreshing after a hot day of sight-seeing / shopping! The whole two week trip was plenty relaxing and a lot of fun! This house is gorgeous. We will not forget this trip! P.S. a great pizza place down the road!
Everything was amazing at La Bastide 1718. We had to travel to the area for work, which was made especially difficult during the pandemic and lockdown. However, the villa and host, Thomas, made our trip as enjoyable as it could be within the circumstances. Thomas the host was always on hand for anything! Very professional, kind and thoughtful. Honestly one of the best hosts I have ever had! The villa is incredible. Each bedroom is up to a hotel standard; from the bedding, aircon and heating, TVs, bathrooms and styling. The kitchen and facilities are very well maintained and equipped, with anything you could possibly need! We spent every evening in the dining and living room with the fire burning, which was a great setting for the team to relax. There are so many facilities and things to do in the Villa, you would never get bored during your stay! The location is stunning and well worth the long driveway to get such seclusion and stunning views. There were lots of thoughtful touches throughout the villa which I don't want to give away. Each of them made our stay even more relaxing and memorable. Thank you again to Thomas and the team behind La Bastide!
The property is absolutely divine. Romantic and picturesque. A real private get-away in the heart of a medieval hill-top village. We were stunned at how quiet it was and loved sitting in the garden in the morning having coffee. We also loved BBQing in the courtyard in the evenings and sitting out past dark to watch the amazing display of stars! The pool was such a delight and the air-con was perfect for a break from the heat in the middle of the day. While we went on several day trips recommended, the village had so much on offer we didn't need to venture out often and can't wait to return!
It worked out great for our family of 7 adults, a little girl, and 2 small dogs. The space is perfect, with plenty of nooks for relaxing, eating, or just having some peace and quiet. The air conditioning was excellent in the heat this week. The TV was huge for the Wimbledon finals, and the owners were very welcoming. Thank you so much for everything. See you next time!!!
A fabulous, beautiful château with all we could ever have needed. We all had a wonderful time and hope we can come back again.
Beautifully located, right on the sea, very neat and very cozy even in bad weather. Lionel was via telephone and email at all times and has responded quickly to any questions. The concierge, who hands over the keys and makes the final cleaning is very personable and locally at all times. In short: everything perfect! We would definitely come back!

Everything you would need is provided for a perfect stay in this part of southern France. A range of seating areas throughout the garden and the pool were delightful. The villa was very well equipped and comfortable The hosts were charming, friendly and helpful, but very discrete.
We have been lucky enough to stay at Château Trieux a number of times and what a truly magical place it is! From the moment you approach the house, through fields of sunflowers, you feel transported into your dream holiday. Whatever your thing is - be it relaxing by the pool, playing tennis or just sitting by the river under the shade of the trees contemplating life - Château Trieux has it all. A visit to the market at Monflanquin is a must or enjoy a relaxing kayak along the river. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We will be back!
A lovely five weeks with nice warm weather. We had several guests from family and friends and everyone was very impressed by the house and garden and the extra advantage of having everything (shops, attractions) nearby. Lovely house and garden and pool.
Excellent. We had a great time. Everything is done to have a pleasant holiday, from the warm welcome of the owners, to the services of the perfectly equipped and appointed villa. A memorable family vacation that we will always remember.

Couldn't have asked for more from La Barde or its owner. La Barde was tranquil, comfortable and had everything you would need for a family holiday. The kitchen was so well equipped, it was amazing, the bedrooms were spacious and beds comfy. Everywhere was decorated beautifully and furnished thoughtfully. There was so much space throughout the house and gardens that even as a large family you would be able to find a quiet spot for some peace. The pool had a great shallow area for the toddlers, the garden was great for exploring. We will be returning next year without a doubt! Thank you!

An Amazing Place. This is an amazing place to stay and Michael and Denise made us feel so welcome with their warm, attentive hospitality. The villa was immaculately presented with everything one might need. The swimming pool is wonderful, warm, clean and you might want to spend lots of time in there. We wish to thank Michael and Denise for a wonderful holiday, we highly recommend this beautiful place and hope to be back there very soon.
Amazing! is the word. The Loft itself, you as hosts and the location. Our week has been wonderful and made all the better due to the exceptional care and attention you both put into this special place. Vero and Thierry have made this farmhouse a very pleasant house to live in. We loved the different nooks and crannies for relaxing depending on the time of day: Pool house during the day for meals, Moroccan lounge for aperitifs all around a large swimming pool. Everything is functional, clean and nothing is missing. The bedding is of very good quality in all rooms. Boules and darts games, a huge garden. We were a family with children (7 people in total) who were also won over. We highly recommend their house and will definitely be back.
