We enjoyed celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary here at Domaine de Nérige with family and friends. Awesome is the only word to describe the house and area.
A house where you feel absolutely at home! Fully and tastefully furnished in a beautiful environment. Visited many places, recommendations are: the caves of Limousis , city of Carcassonne and the suspension bridge in Mazamet . The weekly market in Olonzac , wonderful! Then in the evening on the beautiful terrace enjoying the view of the Pyrenees with snow on the peaks and the children in the pool. Highly recommended, we will definitely go back ! We are jealous of your house!

We have had an amazing time and are very sad to have to leave! We have loved our time lazing by the pool and leaving all the stresses of our normal lives far behind. The owners have been perfect hosts. and the house has had everything that we needed. We really enjoyed visiting this part of France for the first time and would recommend all the beautiful Bastide villages. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can come back!
Mission accomplished, we came for a week to rest in a family holiday and we are sad to leave. One week was not enough! Thank you for answering our few requests and we love your villa! The A/C is perfect, beds are great. All the games available and even managed to read 2 books! The ice machine, the 3 ovens... All wa perfect! Happy summer. All the best.
We have had a wonderful time here in the house. Eric has been a tremendous host and looked after us brilliantly. We have enjoyed lazy days by the pool with an odd burst of ping pong for exercise. The trip to Carcassonne has been the highlight and a wonderful place to be as the sun sets. Merci beaucoup.
This was a great find for our annual French holiday. Your lovely house was perfect for the whole family, it was hard to get the kids out of the pool at the end of the day. Monflanquin is a great town, a real discovery with lots of great restaurants.

Sam's place was what we were looking for for a family with kids of 12 and 10 respectively. Accessibility of the Lot Valley and Dordogne meant there were plenty of options for outings and facilities to be explored and enjoyed for adults and kids alike. Very local night markets were also a highlight of our stay. The property was very well equipped with indoor games and with equipment to enjoy the outdoor spaces. It is exceedingly quiet and peaceful with few cars passing by which makes for a very relaxing and restful environment for time spent at the property. We left feeling very well refreshed.
Thank you so much for a wonderfully relaxing stay at your ‘Loft’. We have stayed here many times before under previous ownership, but we must say that you have moved it up several notches! The attention to detail is second to none; from the luxurious ‘The White Company’ products to all the goodies in the fridge and cupboards - very much appreciated. The terrace, garden and pool are just so peaceful that we haven’t ventured far! Most of all thank you for being there and for your wonderful company. We hope there will be many more visits to come. An amazing week of relaxation. Spent a fantastic week at Château Velouse. Located in a tiny village the château is just a short drive from lots of interesting locations in the Loire valley. Château Velouse has everything you need for a relaxing week - beautiful bedrooms, lovely outdoor pool, barbeque and al fresco dining area and lovely dining room and lounge. We chose to self-catering but there are options to hire in a chef to prepare meals for your group. There was also lots of information in the château guide about other tailored services that were available such as wine tours. Claire and Phil made sure that everything was perfect for our stay and recommended places to visit.

What a wonderful house and great host. We had a super holiday home in Mouans Sartoux. The house was very comfortable, clean and so well equipped. We took advantage of the property owners excellent recommendations for local restaurants, however, the kitchen was so well equipped we could have happily cooked and hosted a dinner party for ten people. Maison de la Siagne was a great location as a base to explore the Côte d'Azur. The train station is only 10 minutes walk from the house and the A8 only 10 minutes by car. We relaxed by the pool during the day, went out to explore and had dinner late afternoon and returned later to enjoy the super night-time view from the terrace over the valley towards Grasse.
We had a great stay at the chateau last week! The chateau was incredible. We were shown round by Olha who was super helpful but also gave us space. The facilities were all fantastic...the pool was lovely of course, and the gym was kitted out so that everyone could do their thing in there. The tennis court was used every day and those that did (I did not, I was drinking rose by the pool and throwing the occasional ball back!) loved it. The rooms were really spacious and well-kitted out which perhaps doesn't come across in photos but that's not really a criticism, just a nice surprise. Another nice surprise was how well the kitchen was equipped too. There is literally EVERYTHING in there. There is a convenience store and boulangerie less than a km away, but unfortunately it wasn't really walkable for the teens the group as it's a fast road and no pathways, but this was hardly a negative when you have so much other stuff to entertain them. There were four families on this holiday and we are all in our separate grumps now we are home again!
A luxurious spot with the most beautiful heated pool and views to the Mediterranean. The pool and its view absolutely makes this property. It is absolutely spotless, heated to a perfect 30 degrees and is an infinity pool which adds to the luxurious feel. There is a diving board and a fun water slide and there are foam pool loungers available too. The terrace is also beautiful with plenty of sunbeds and seating and a table for meals. Inside the property is spacious with some interesting antiques and the bedrooms are air conditioned, which is lovely even though there is plenty of shade on hot days anyway. The car can be parked right next to the villa for ease of carrying luggage and supermarket shopping etc. All in all Les Fumerates feels like a slice of paradise, peaceful and calm and difficult to tear yourself away from despite the easy proximity of the coast. The pool is the star attraction, always lovely to swim in even in late evening and with a slide, diving board and floating loungers if wanted. The terrace and pool are lit at night and the calm, luxurious atmosphere makes it almost impossible to leave despite its proximity to some lovely places to visit!
Thank you for a lovely week at the very beautiful Le Chambarru. We have all been able to relax and enjoy the peace, the wonderful views and even the spectacular thunderstorms in the evenings! A week is not long enough sadly.
We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight. The listing and reviews stated the house was comfy and well equipped, well I can totally vouch for that. We wanted for nothing. Beds are very comfy, the outdoor area is outstanding. Everything you could want is to hand. One, if not the best pool we've ever used and Martyn keeps it spotless everyday. The owners are on hand if needed or not. The village is excellent, a short walk with a restaurant. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

The chalet: a real jewel in the heart of a magnificent valley, the spacious and sunny terrace with a breathtaking view. Games room, sauna and jacuzzi allowed us to spend very good times with family. Modern amenities make everyday life easier. The "artistic" decoration soothes the mind and opens to daydreaming.

The villa has entirely been renovated, very well designed and equipped. It is located in a small village only a few kilometres from Pézenas. Quiet and relaxing area. Excellent stay.

Recommended trips with children: Narbonne and Gruissan beach, aerospace Museum in Toulouse, at least 2 trips to Carcassonne, Perpignan worth the drive, Saturday market in Carcassonne.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. The owner was incredibly communicative and helpful, the housekeeper really sweet and welcoming. The bedrooms are all simple and clean with efficient bathrooms and gorgeous shutters. The layout of the house and thick walls meant that the bedrooms were cool even in 35 degree heat. The terrace was great for late evening meals and star gazing and the pool provided hours of fun for us all. Charming village, super landscape. Really good for walking or running past fields of sunflowers! We were there for 2 weeks and there was plenty to do. Our children's favourite was the Haunted House in Carcassonne!
This was the most perfect house for our extended family to reconnect and relax in. The house was beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The outside spaces were lovely, with plenty of options for a large group to socialise. We particularly enjoyed the outside kitchen, pool and table tennis in the barn. The walk back from the local bar was lovely. All in all we would thoroughly recommend this property and hope to return one day. Thank you so much.
Thank you! We have spent a glorious week at The Loft, which feels like a home away from home. You have been fabulous hosts, and your suggestions of places to visit and vineyards to try have been spot on. After ‘confinement’ in Paris for many months, the pool was a joy. We love the garden and it’s shady spots and enjoyed Mack and Mabel’s company. We can see why people return to this wonderful place, and we hope to be one of them very soon.
