Beautiful maintained home and grounds. Excellent facilities for young families. All modern and child / baby amenities provided. Daily housekeeping was an added bonus compared to previous holiday rentals.
This property is so beautiful you may not want to venture out, but if you do there are great restaurants and bars nearby as well as lovely walks and biking trails. The rooms are very comfortable, all en-suite and everything you could wish for is provided. The huge swimming pool / pool house / relaxing / eating and barbecue areas mean that you can be outside all the time but the gorgeous well equipped kitchen and indoor rooms offer a cool alternative. Cant wait to go back!

Spacious, comfortable and stylish. The house has a super atmosphere. It’s really spacious, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms have all you need. The pool was spotless and such a treat that it’s just yours to use. The house sits very near to the village. Just a couple of minutes walk to the Square and the little market that seems to visit every Saturday and on two other days too. You can get all you need from there or from the little super market nearby. The terrace was fab for eating our meals outside and just off the kitchen. Bbq worked well too. Over all it was definitely a 10 out of 10 stay. The owners have thought of everything. We really loved the enormous wall hangings.
Thank you for a lovely stay at Mas des Rivailles. Our family of five stayed there for two weeks in August 2023 and we had a great time. It is very spacious and modern, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The pool temperature was perfect and we found the salt-water quite pleasant. The sun loungers and pool set up allowed for relaxing moments poolside and we especially appreciate the very large games room with table tennis, billiards and football table as well as numerous toys for our three children. The bedrooms were clean and fitted with quality sheets and soft towels as well as sufficient storage space for our belongings. The laundry room/pantry was also very helpful for storing food and washing our clothes with ease. Frederic was helpful and attentive as always and made our stay very comfortable, bringing over extra fans when we requested as our stay coincided with a heatwave. The proprietor's family who live on the farm next door were very friendly and helpful and responded to any issues we had. The location of the house is also convenient for exploring the region with many interesting towns and activities a short drive away. We would definitely recommend! Thanks again.
We had a lovely time thank you - we've stayed in many properties in France over the years and I can safely say that Mas Orbiel was the best equipped and most comfortable. It was great being so close to Carcassonne as well. If you will have us again, we would love to return some day!
Terrific house with fabulous views, close to town. Our family of five had a perfect holiday. The house is spacious, filled with light and very well appointed. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces a lot, including the pool, the large terrace with stunning views and summer kitchen. It was easy to get to grocery stores and activities in the region. Our teenagers loved being able to walk to the village and explore the area. We all enjoyed walking or jogging on the path by the canal, accessible from the garden. We highly recommend this property!
Weather lovely watching the house and surroundings. Trip to a little place 45 or so miles away called Coulon well worth a day out there. It was a very pretty riverside town where you could hire bikes, canoes or kayaks or take a leisurely stroll only the banks. Then enjoy refreshments at the riverside bars/restaurants while enjoying the sunshine and scenery. Will definitely visit again. Stayed here many times and never get tired as there is always somewhere new to go and explore (if you can bear ro tear yourself away from here). From the warm welcome that we received on arrival, to the thorough introduction into the Loft du Vigneron's facilities - which are considerable - and the wealth of advice on the local area, restaurants and places to visit, Karen and Russell did everything imaginable to ensure that we had a really memorable and relaxing holiday. Naturally, we are very sorry to be leaving this morning, but hope to have the good fortune to return again. Every good wish to you in your new venture, which we're sure will be as successful, if not more, than the Loft.
The chalet: a real jewel in the heart of a magnificent valley, the spacious and sunny terrace with a breathtaking view. Games room, sauna and jacuzzi allowed us to spend very good times with family. Modern amenities make everyday life easier. The "artistic" decoration soothes the mind and opens to daydreaming.
Thank you for an unforgettable week! The house and gardens have been a dream. We have been blessed with amazing weather and the pool has made the holiday for the children. Like the previous tenants, we appreciated the calm, the swimming pool, the breakfast on the terrace with the pretty view of the vineyards and the scrubland, the sunsets so different every day. We were particularly appreciative of the very nice amenities for this quiet house for getting together with family. The swimming pool is very large and with a breathtaking view of nature and the vineyards. The region is very beautiful and the surroundings are worth it. We had a very good holiday and Marie who welcomes you is very pleasant. Christiane, the owner, takes great care to ensure that your stay goes as smoothly as possible. The equipment in the house, whether furniture or kitchen area, is top notch.

One evening, as we enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace, hot air balloons floateo across the distant sky - the kind of moment that lingers long after you've returned home. The rooms are exquisite-thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, and filled with the kind of character that photographs simply can't capture. It's the kind of place where time slows down and you're gently reminded of what it means to truly relax. We came to La Petite Maison Générille as travelers... and left with new friends and a piece of this village etched into our hearts. We cannot wait to return!

We had a lovely stay at Pinaux. The house conversion is beautiful and comfortable for days we didn’t go out. Everything went smoothly with the keys and check in. Henk and Renee were friendly and welcoming. Thank you for providing some basics, including coffee, milk and sugar.

We have enjoyed a 2-week stay at Laserne gite. We were Pete’s first guests last year and our second visit has been as special as our first stay. Pete has been a delightful host, checking on us daily to make sure everything was OK. The pool has been such a delight in this hot and sunny weather. The highlights of our stay are the wonderful views from the gite and the tranquillity of furniture and fittings.

We were absolutely overwhelmed by beauty, tranquility and views surrounding the wonderful home. Such a privilege to spend time here forming special memories with the family - especially celebrating a significant birthday! We enjoyed the gorgeous pool, BBQ'd, had a vineyard tour and wine tasting, kayaked on the Dordogne and much more. Frédéric's warmth, helpfulness and attention to detail was very much appreciated- we can't praise the level of service and thoughtfulness enough! Thank you so much!
The Domaine de Nérige is magnificent. The house is very well equipped and very large. We were 14 friends and were able to enjoy this warm and party-friendly place. Sandie and available while being very discreet. Our stay was truly perfect!

We have had a wonderful, relaxing and very enjoyable week at the farmhouse. It is a stunning place that we have enjoyed immensely. We have found it difficult to tear ourselves away from the glorious pool and tennis court and have had a fabulous rest! We all had a lovely time. The accommodation was so huge that we could all find space when we wanted that and a communal get-together when desired. Our son-in-law really enjoyed cooking on the Aga and produced some spectacular meals. Needless to say that we all had fun in the pool on sunny days.
We have had a fantastic, relaxing week in a beautiful part of the world. The views from the pool and terrace are stunning and will be sorely missed!
