This place is quiet and thanks to nature, which Surrounded us, we were totally relaxed... The cottage is equipped with everything we need and Karine and Pascal are always available... For future visitors, there are restaurants to recommend (in our opinion) in Vianne (l'Atypik), in Barbaste (the veranda), in Sérignac-sur-Garonne (Le Prince Noir), in Agen (South Side)... Opposite the supermarket in Bras, you will find a butcher and a traditional bakery... Nérac, Vianne, Pujols, Penne-d'Agenais are places to visit! Thank you very much!

All in all an amazing place. We have recently returned from 2 weeks in Laurac as a family of 7 across 3 generations ranging from 4 years to 76. The house is beautiful and no photo of the view from the wonderful terrace could ever do it justice. With 4 en-suite bedrooms, all of which were very comfortable, on the first floor, and a large open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room on the second floor, all of which looked out on to the huge French windows and terrace, we had plenty of room and comfort. The pool set in the secret garden, a short stroll from the house, was perfect for relaxing in, and there is loads of space on the decking for stretching out on the loungers and catching the sun. For shade lovers there is also plenty of this as well as the garden is very well designed. With loads of amazing places close to Laurac there is loads to do and see, and the village itself is stunning and amazingly quiet.
Fab location. Well-equipped house. Lovely setting. La Ripaille was a fab restaurant to visit.
The property was everything we were hoping for and more. It's simple yet beautifully done out inside. The outdoor areas are great, particularly the pool. It's so well designed for a family holiday. The local village is so cute and the hotel restaurant great too. And obviously the local wine was delicious too! Couldn't have asked for more.

La Petite Maison Générille is pure magic. Tucked away in the rolling hills of the Dordogne, this peaceful gîte blends rustic charm with stylish comfort. The saltwater pool is dreamy, the interiors are beautifully done, and every corner feels like a breath of fresh French countryside air. We didn't want to leave — and we're already planning our return.
We have been visiting France on a regular basis for very many years. In more recent times we have been searching for a place that we might return to, and return to; a home away from home. We need look no more. The Loft is beautiful and a testament to great care and wonderful taste. The garden is inspirational, Mack and Mabel are a delight and Rieux is just what we had hoped for. Above all we think that we have been fortunate in meeting such kind and wonderful hosts who we now regard as friends. In summary our whole experience has been truly exceptional.
The house is perfectly equipped, clean and located in a fairly quiet area.
Time seems to pass so quickly when staying in this lovely house in such a lovely place. We have enjoyed a glorious week with many happy hours in and around the pool with our children and grandchildren. And, we have enjoyed exploring – once again – this beautiful part of France. The house and gardens are an amazing reflection of the style and care and attention to detail that Russell and Karen are putting into what we know will become one of Languedoc's gems. Their un-intrusive but 'nothing is too much trouble' nature brings a relaxed and caring environment. The Loft is a lovely haven to relax in and contemplate the beautiful world around you. Had a lovely relaxing 2 week stay. John and Annie are gracious hosts - lovely touches - wine and cheese and flowers. Fabulous palces to visit - La Rochelle, Fontenay, Plage des Belagus. Vouvant is a charming village. Ideal for a great holiday.
Swimming in the sun at La Barde we experienced a luxurious time in the perfect place to be reminded of the most important parts of life - family, nature and love. It's so obvious that every corner of this house was built and is maintained with love. A perfect getaway in the hills of Lusignac.
Many thanks for our wonderful week here in your beautiful home and surroundings. We loved every minute with the children spending their time in the pool, playing table tennis and with all the other games (chess, dominoes…) You kindly supplied we couldn’t have asked for more and very much appreciated our welcome pack. Where to start, we have had such a wonderful week we have loved everything about this house and grounds. It is the best house we have ever hired as a group and Mike and Natalie have gone out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Just to mention a few of the many things we loved about the house, the fantastic swimming pool, the incredible views, the activities provided, the comfortable beds, the beautiful seating areas in and out of the house, the breakfast area, the bathrooms... and of course Myrtle the cat who joined us every morning for breakfast. Best of all it was a fantastic place for Grace and Ken to get engaged to be married! Thank you so much for the opportunity to hire this beautiful home. (This was truly a magical place to get engaged, Grace x)

Our week has been wonderful and made all the better due to the exceptional care and attention you both put into this special place. Our week in your beautiful home has gone far too quickly. We have really enjoyed the era and explored Uzes and its restaurants. There is still so much to do and we hope to be back. Many thanks for your welcome and discreet hospitality. The tortoises were a great distraction!
We loved staying here. Domaine du Château is full of character and very comfortable. With the giant wine press in the dining room and the vines across the lane, you certainly know you are in Burgundy. We really liked the mix of antique French furniture and original contemporary art works, so nicely done. The kitchen is beautiful and really well equipped and the market in Beaune is amazing for fantastic local produce. Apart from driving through all the famous vineyards and going wine tasting, we really enjoyed visiting the château at Rochepot and the ancient market at Nolay. The countryside is very pretty and great for walking, but best of all, was just sitting drinking wine on the terrace, enjoying the wonderful view and tranquillity. We booked the Eurostar to Le Creusot which made the journey really easy and quick. You can pick 'up a hire car' at the station and then it's just a short drive down quiet country roads which felt a world away from London. Would definitely recommend!
We stayed in the the villa in Cagnes-sur-Mer and I just wanted to say what a superb holiday we had. The villa was absolutely perfect with everything we could possibly need. It's ideally situated if you do not want to have a car as shops, restaurants, beaches, train station are only 5-10 minutes walk away. We would certainly recommend this villa.
Bella, Antony + D have had a most wonderful summer at Le Courrech . The gîte is more beautiful than I imagined from the photos. Your marvelous hosts and Peggy, Odin, Leia + the girls are all such fun – Connie too! Thanks so much for your warm hospitality and kindness. I hope to meet again in the Deux-Sèvres!

Lovely, charming and authentic house in Lusignac. The house is as described with great facilities for our summer holiday. We were 8 adults with 2 infants ( 2 yrs and 18months) and the house accommodated us all really well.
We had a lovely stay at Claire’s beautiful place. It was very comfortable and you can see that someone has taken great care in decorating the place and choosing the best things. Would highly recommend.
We have just returned from two weeks holiday spent at the truly wonderful Domaine de Nérige. The photos on the website are fantastic, but are still not as good as the real thing! There is everything you could possibly want and the comfort is exemplary, but what makes this the very best property we have ever had (and we have had a lot over the years, all over France!) is the care and attention to our comfort and enjoyment from Sandie and David who own it. Nothing was too much trouble and their friendliness and kindness was so lovely that frankly, by the time we left, it felt like we were leaving family behind! Whatever you do, try all of the wines (and beers) handily stocked for you – they are excellent and the food Sandie prepared for us was fabulous - don't skimp on the desserts, you'll regret it if you do! It is no surprise and no mystery that Domaine de Nérige is booked up so far in advance. If you have a bucket list of holidays, put this one at the very top and you will not regret it. We had the most wonderful holiday and unreservedly recommend Domaine de Nérige, as we have to everyone we have spoken to. Thank you so much Sandie and David for letting us live in your glorious home for two weeks, it was unforgettable – just like the two of you.
We really enjoyed our all too brief stay in your beautiful house, gardens and surrounding countryside. All so lovely to explore. Mia, 7 3/4. Favourite place is the pool. Highly recommended is having Ian and Hugh cook dinner.
