The Sallèles antique pottery workshop dating back to the start of the High Romain Empire was a site where a huge volumes of clay pottery was produced. The Cannes Film Festival finished with a special screening of Spike Lee's 'American Utopia' a concert / theatrical film of Talking Heads' singer David Byrne. Shown on the big screen on the beach, free for eveyone to watch.
Spike Lee introduced the film himself and said goodbye to everyone in Cannes.
In partnership with Paris Match, the exhibition "Cannes fait le mur" presents large formats of cinema celebrities installed on building facades and on aerial tarpaulins located all along the rue d'Antibes. The theme chosen this year is "The Kiss", a nice way to bring a dose of optimism this summer.
