Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It is full of character and style. The scent of flowers and wonderful pool made the garden the place we spent the most time. We had a wonderful holiday at La Maison Blanche. The location is stunning, a huge garden with a large pool - overlooking a field of sunflowers when we were there. We were two couples with two older children and the house is very spaceous and beautifully furnished. The location is very peaceful. Whilst that means that shops, local markets and restaurants are not within walking distance the house is very well equipped, both for cooking and barbequeing as well as entertainment with the pool, table tennis and games. Came for 2 weeks, had a warm welcome from our hosts. We explored the area and further afield, went on lovely walks, found some lovely villages, Sarlat-la-Caneda and Bergerac with their lovely markets. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing holiday. Your house, gardens and surroundings are all spectacular. We very much enjoyed picnicing in the back garden and our kids absolutely loved the tree house. Highlights were Saumur market Saturday morning. Dining at La Licorne Fontervuad Château d'Ussé, Zoo BioParc de Doce and the gardens at Château de Villandry. Also a visit with the kids across the road to see the rabbits at the invitation of your friendly neighbours. Many thanks.

Heaven on Earth. Our two week stay at Villa Chiavari was an absolute dream; I could not be more enthusiastic in recommending this home to anyone looking to spend their vacation in a veritable paradise. We were 2 couples, 3 children and 1 grandparent and booked an 'off-season' holiday at the end of September. Not long after our arrival we realised a major perk of booking 'off season': uncrowded beaches with absolutely perfect summer weather! Villa Chiavari's spectacular ocean-view infinity pool is surrounded by lounge-chairs and palm trees and bordered by a lush garden... good luck ever tearing yourself away. I should also mention that this lavish pool area is accessible by both the main living quarters of the house and by the bedrooms, which we found extremely convenient for our kids and elderly grandparent. Pool amenities also include a shaded lounge and dining area (also with an ocean view), a barbecue, outdoor refrigerator, pool toys and floats and easy access to a downstairs kitchenette. The grounds at the front of the house include a lush garden, an elevated hammock-hideaway in a quiet shady corner and an outdoor eating area punctuated by a lovely little fountain. The bedrooms are attractively furnished, comfortable and very clean. Five out of six have full attached bathrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, as is the main area of the house. The upstairs living/dining/den areas are elegant yet cozy at the same time and the entire back 'wall' of this floor is composed of large sliding glass doors that open onto a beautiful terrace running the length of the entire villa. There is a dining area and lounge on this upper terrace as well! The kitchen has every piece of equipment you can think of and if you're looking for the ultimate in extravagance, the owners will set you up with your own chef. They arranged for us a very personable French cook who prepared truly delicious, fresh meals that even our children were not afraid to eat. Sublime. Speaking of kids, families will find this home very child-safe. There are gates on stairways, the entire property is fenced-in (artfully disguised by beautiful flowers and foliage) and there is a smattering of children's furniture (highchair etc) available for use. We were also really comforted by the fact that the owners of this home are easily reached and are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again and I encourage anyone interested in perfection to do the same!

We very much enjoyed our stay with Anna and Michael. The house is conveniently situated in a small hamlet, close to the beautiful town of Monflanquin. Our kids loved the pool and the variety of toys to play with. We absolutely recommend this accommodation.
The chteau is beautiful. Great house for our group of 10 adults and 8 children. lots of room for all of us to be comfortable. Amazing pool and lovely grounds. Kitchen is well equipped.. It is an old property and is well lived in but that isn’t a problem.
A superb week spent in the Loft du Vigneron. Thank you Karen and Russell for being wonderful hosts and recommending amazing restaurants and equally great days out. Our 'home' for the week was truly special with so much attention to detail and gorgeous touches.

Thank you for sharing your lovely house and garden at Maison Charvin. We spent our time climbing to Médiéval castles, cycling along the Canal du Midi and white-water rafting in the Aude River ! Every day we started by wandering around the lovely village before venturing out on an adventure. If you have children, there is a really good football pitch down by the rugby club. We also really enjoyed 'Abyss on tour' on our fist night here. A wonderful holiday!
An exceptional house in an exceptional setting. We were able to stay a week in this house in so many different ways, as a family, as a couple with friends and this house allows to enjoy life! Take the time to enjoy the superb cuisine, professional level equipment, with and without a caterer, you will appreciate the heart of the house. A large piece of land that can be shared around the house for different activities, a superb seating area with views on the Rhone, a welcoming corner around a round table and its tennis court not far away. The land extends to offer a short walk, allowing digestive walks following the big banquets in the reception house where a large sofa, retro projector and bar await you! Perfect tranquility and very comfortable bedding, enough to spend an exceptional stay where rest and pleasure are the key words of our experience.
You have created the best house in Collioure ! We have had the most relaxing holiday and enjoyed every moment. Wonderful views - lovely sea and beaches and excellent restaurants.
We had an absolutely lovely fortnight at Château Monjardin. Faultless. Please could you pass on our especial thanks to Colin and Sue. They could not have been kinder or more generous. I miss it already and will be sure to return, perhaps next year. All our very best regards.
We had a very good week of vacation with 2 families. The villa is superb, well equipped and maintained. The heated swimming pool is really a plus, the children really enjoyed it. The owners, who live nearby, are friendly and available. We will return with great pleasure if the opportunity arises. We are strongly recommend this rental.
Where to start, we have had such a wonderful week we have loved everything about this house and grounds. It is the best house we have ever hired as a group and Mike and Natalie have gone out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Just to mention a few of the many things we loved about the house, the fantastic swimming pool, the incredible views, the activities provided, the comfortable beds, the beautiful seating areas in and out of the house, the breakfast area, the bathrooms... and of course Myrtle the cat who joined us every morning for breakfast. Best of all it was a fantastic place for Grace and Ken to get engaged to be married! Thank you so much for the opportunity to hire this beautiful home. We are now back at home and I wanted to send you my most sincere thanks for your welcome at Maison de Saint-Jean. Your house is magnificent. It combines the charm of an old farmhouse with the comfort of modern and stylish equipment. There were 6 of us but the house can accommodate 8 people. It is especially the exteriors that we adored. Even though the weather was not very comfortable this summer, we enjoyed the very large garden, the endless view and the heated swimming pool. We will definitely come back because the region is still worth a few detours and your house is the perfect base for visiting it. See you soon.
Absolutely stunning château, beautiful inside and out with everything you need for a relaxing and luxurious holiday. Lovely quiet setting but close to pretty villages with bustling markets and restaurants. Great for large families or groups as there is plenty of room but also has wonderful communal areas - particularly around the pool, the tennis court, pétanque court and dining in the idyllic front courtyard. Grounds to stroll around, with river and shady trees- a classic slice of French heaven!
A wonderful week for three generations of us, from 128 months to 70 years. We've had a great time.

Wonderful week in this lovely house in Sarlat. The house has everything for a summer stay including being cool when temperatures hit high 30s as it did this week. The lush green garden was a real plus for me, so much biodiversity -one urban spot, absolutely loved it. Unbelievably close to everything in Sarlat, we enjoyed our daily boulangerie visits and eating out most evenings-all were good. Short drives to Lascaux caves ,fascinating ,and canoeing on the Dordogne, which is a must, so many different dragonflies and even a kingfisher. Go raibh mile math agut (many thanks).
