A huge thank you for making us feel so welcome, we've had a wonderful week in your beautiful property. This has been by far the best house we have stayed in, full of history, character and the personal touch. The pool has been amazing. Evening barbecues have been the highlight. Your kind gift of wine, beers and charcuterie set us up well for the week.
Just to say that we have enjoyed our time here enormously. You have the most beautiful home in a wonderful location! We only left the house twice other than to shop for food. Once to go to Château Bridoire (a good recommendation thank you) and Château Montbazillac and a second time today to go to an aqua parc. Thank you very much!
Wonderful villa, beautiful pool and perfect location! We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at Les Fumerates. We had a lovely warm welcome from Michael and Denise and the attention to detail in the property was faultless with soap, shower gels, coffee pods and more provided, made even better with comfy beds, air conditioning and immaculate presentation. We loved the character of the property and it's suberb layout. The fantastic infinity pool lent itself to some lovely memories sitting on the terrace for a meal or drink and then dipping into the gorgeous water and looking out at the amazing views. We also had fun on the slide and diving board and relaxation floating on the comfy pool loungers. Les Fumerates is ideally placed to visit places such as Nice, taking the bus from the end of the road worked perfectly as well as being only 15 minutes drive from the airport! We also visited Monaco, Antibes, Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud but one of the highlights was the short walk to the magical village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence for a drink and a meal. We have enjoyed one of our best holidays yet and will definitely be back!

I would, rather belatedly, like to say how much we (5 adults and two girls aged 3 and 6) enjoyed our stay end of May in Maison La Perouse. The gorgeous house worked well for our 3 generations; it was so comfortable and very well equipped. Although the weather wasn’t brilliant the girls played and ran around in the fabulous garden whenever possible. However the trampoline was the highlight for them. The pool and fab BBQ were at their best on the last 2 days when the sun eventually showed its face. Finally, Sue was a fabulous host and always on hand when needed, especially when I tripped the dryer. She took all the wet washing, used her own dryer and then hung everything up - such service! This is a wonderful house, not just for families but for everyone who likes comfort, space and great tourist destinations within about an hours drive. Thank you Sue and Pure France.
Gorgeous. Very well maintained, yet still updated with modern amenities. All in all, an amazing stay and trip and we'd recommend Château Charente to anyone touring the area.
We had to wait a long time for our much anticipated return visit to your wonderful villa - and it did not disappoint. We have had the best time, Sophia enjoyed the pool (as we all did). Great place to explore this fabulous area, a boat trip to Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud plus two beaches. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had a fabulous holiday at La Distillerie - the most beautiful gite we have stayed in, and a perfect setting in which to enjoy the French countryside. The property is beautifully decorated throughout, immaculately clean and well equipped with everything you may need. Mark and Gary are amazing hosts and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived, thanks to their friendly welcome and warm hospitality throughout our stay. We were looking for a peaceful and relaxing break, and La Distillerie suited us perfectly. The pool, patio and garden areas are wonderful, with fantastic views across the open countryside. There are also lovely villages to visit within an easy driving distance. A big thank you to Mark and Gary for making our first visit so special, and we look forward to returning!
We had an excellent stay in this magnificent house where everything has been thought out so that young and old can make the most of the holidays. We were a group of 3 couples and 4 children and each got enough space and privacy. The house is very beautiful, well decorated and pleasant to live in. The garden is very beautiful and the pool area is perfect! The barn converted into a games room was also very popular (especially since the sun was not there). The kitchen is fully equipped. In short, we highly recommend this rental!
The space, the history and beauty of the surroundings. The swimming pool. The range of children's toys. The bedroom arrangements in the house that was perfect for 4 families. Maps and leaflets of things to do in the locality. The fans in rooms upstairs etc etc. In all we are sad to leave!

The house and the grounds are fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area. The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc comfortable. The kids loved the swings etc and the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. The food was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. It was a real privilege to stay at Château Monjardin - it's a fantastic property full of character and it really felt like a home to us. The guardian is great and made us feel very welcome.
Thank you so much for making our visit to the Lot so very special. Your generous hospitality was astounding. Nothing was too much trouble, every request for information assiduously followed up and always discretely so you never intruded on our privacy. Along the way we feel we’ve made a new friend. The property itself is beautiful and immaculately maintained. Equipped with everything we could possibly need, we lacked for nothing. Nestled in amongst the vineyards we were fortunate enough to be there in time to watch and participate in the harvest. You even arranged for us to sample the wines made from the vineyards in the area. It was impossible not to take some home with us. Lots to explore, amazing restaurants, we fell in love with the Lot. We can fully appreciate how this haven stole your heart. Having holidayed over many years in France, this was definitely the highlight of all our travels. Thank you so much for making our holiday so special.
We've had an excellent time in this beautiful villa. Sunbathing by the pool, swimming and rock climbing (just some of the things we've done). We hope to be back next year.
My extended family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The house itself is a magnificent old stone building, which has been decorated in a very elegant manner. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and we very much appreciated the coffee machine. Younger family members enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. Being an old house, it does have some quirks, but these are very much outweighed by the charm and grandeur of the rooms and outdoor areas. The location is scenic and peaceful - but within reasonable driving distance of area attractions such as Lascaux and villages along the Dordogne. The local village is lovely, with a handy small supermarket, great boulangerie and several restaurants. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Beautiful property in a beautiful tranquil setting. Close to Gordes, but not overlooked. Amenities are good and pool perfect. Only slight issue for some might be need to go through one bedroom to get to next; and stairs step. But for us... perfect.
With grateful thanks for a very relaxing week in your lovely house. We really enjoyed the beautiful views and surrounding countryside; the sunsets were amazing. The weather was very kind to us with soaring temperatures, dips in the pool were most welcome.
Thank you for an amazing stay again. I have really enjoyed playing in the garden when it was a lovely day. On one of the days, I even went into the pool when the water was 17 degrees! Sam has become Mack's best friend!
Kim and Christian, with their family, are fantastic hosts! Always available and attentive. The house is the same as on the photos and is ideal for retiring with the family. We spent an unforgettable week and experienced moments that will forever be engraved in our memories. I will return with great pleasure and highly recommend the property.

Piglet is the prfect spot to visit all the graet spots in the Vendée, our favourite being La Rochelle and the Belugas beach. There are wonderful touches of luxury at the house; beautiful linens, towels and bathrobes. Vouvant is a charming and beautiful village. definitely a fabulous find !
