This beautifully renovated property is a real gem. The house is so warm and welcoming.
We were able to have a great week with friends at this house, which matched the photos perfectly. The host is very accommodating and accommodating. Amenities are complete, different living spaces are spacious, the pool area is a real plus. I'd recommend it!
If / when we return to continue exploring this lovely area of France, we would hope to be able to stay in 'The Loft'. Russell and Karen have been very welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive and nothing seems too much trouble. Perfect hosts! Sad to be leaving after only a week.
We recommend! We had a great time in Talloires, in this beautiful apartment at the foot of the house with a breathtaking view and that makes rain or gray days spectacular too because the view is always beautiful. The surroundings of the lake are superb, and Annecy is 20 minutes away. Thoughtful and responsive hosts!
Great stay! We were 10 and loved our week Le Mas de Combet. Swimming pool, bar, large kitchen, living rooms, bedrooms with private bathrooms. Everything was perfect, clean, in line with the photos and the host was great in their communication and advice. Definitely won over for future reunions with friends. Amazing stay for our 10-people holidays. From the house to the host everything was perfect. Thanks a lot.

The house is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The rooms are large and the beds are nice. The pool is perfect and well maintained and the beautiful large garden with multiple seating areas offers enough relaxation space for a group of 7 or more. What we were most impressed with is the beautiful kitchen with a large range of pans and other kitchen utensils. We love to cook so we were very satisfied with this. All in all, a fantastic house with an attentive host who responds quickly to questions.
We very much enjoyed our stay in La Forge. Quiet and charming gite with swimming pool in a small, rural village surrounded by beautiful countryside and interesting places to visit. A very helpful yet discreet proprietor, living close by, who was only too happy to help with any questions we had. Highly recommended.
We recently enjoyed a very memorable and enjoyable stay. This luxurious property was comfortable, well presented and very clean. The views from the property are exceptional and the horizon swimming pool is everybody's dream. The location provides good access to Saint Paul de Vence and to the surrounding region and thus is a great location to base yourself and to see the local features.

Beautiful setting and the grounds are marvellous. So relaxing and the pool area is perfect for long sunny afternoons. Kitchen is really well appointed. Bed linen feels fresh and your home is spotless - a big thumbs up! Playroom was a huge hit. You have a wonderful property, but your kindness and generosity of spirit went a long way in making us all feel very welcome.
Superb accommodation in a fabulous location! We had a wonderful stay - the Gite was just perfect for us. Peaceful with lots of outdoor space and a lovely pool. The Gite is very well equipped and furnished to a high standard, with everything you need for a stay away from home. Mark was very welcoming and helpful when we needed some local advice. We took advantage of Mark’s connections with a visit to an amazing local cognac/pineau distillery and rounded off the day by being cooked for in the gite by Reza Mahammad (famous chef with amazing culinary repertoire) which was made all the more special by Reza discussing with us the history and background of the dishes we were eating – what a treat! We recommend this as a great option for couples or families who want some peace and quiet whilst still being close enough to explore plenty of interesting towns cities and attractions.
Just to say that we have enjoyed our time here enormously. You have the most beautiful home in a wonderful location! We only left the house twice other than to shop for food. Once to go to Château Bridoire (a good recommendation thank you) and Château Montbazillac and a second time today to go to an aqua parc. Thank you very much!
From the moment I arrived at Les Cazettes, I was completely mesmerised by it. Every corner of the villa has the most beautiful architecture, thoughtful design and authentic charm in every detail, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Each room is a masterpiece. All that beautiful furniture and chandeliers speak of timeless elegance and gives it much more personality than any modern soulless contemporary interior designs that is more common to find among luxury villas. As someone who deeply values nature, the villa's surroundings became my nirvana place. With colourful fields that seem to stretch infinitely and forests that attract to explore it, there’s a certain magic that Les Cazettes holds. The air here is different - it’s charged with an energy so vibrant, yet very calming. It's rare to find a place that can give you the feeling of being home, especially when you're miles away from what you’ve always known. It’s an oasis where happiness isn’t just felt, it's lived. I've spent such beautiful moments here, makes me feel so warmly nostalgic as I write this review. Bring your favourite people with you and step into that bubble that feels from another world. What a truly incredible place to stay. The owners were so welcoming and could not do enough for us during our stay when needed. The château and grounds relax you immediately when you arrive. There is so much space and every facility you need. This venue is a must for your holiday.

Maison Bourg Calès is most definitely a five-star property. It is a beautiful property, both inside and outside, beautifully clean and fully equipped with everything you could possible need for a wonderful holiday. We also really appreciated the extra touches - the bottle of own label wine that awaited us, the basket full of towels for the pool and the store cupboard of kitchen essentials. We loved the saltwater pool. We would happily recommend it to anyone wishing to holiday in the Dordogne and looking for a well-located, high quality property.
Many thanks for a wonderful week, we have so enjoyed this lovely house and the beautiful area around it, we wish we had more than a week to see more of what we wanted, we enjoyed the circular walk through the mixed pine forest, it’s very pretty and only 2 km long. We loved l Auberge du petit bistro in Vinsobres (a 2/3 minute drive), this was our favourite eating experience, while Vaison la Romain was lovely to visit. Many thanks for bringing us to all these wonderful experiences.
