Great weekend with friends. The accommodation is magnificent, clean, with everything you need. The swimming pool is great, as are the garden and the building in general. I highly recommend this accommodation which is ideal for families or groups of friends.

Also, the thoughtful and pragmatic precautions you have taken in light of Covid-19 served to put our minds at ease and helped us to thoroughly enjoy our time in this wonderful part of France. Our Stay at Château Bellevue couldn’t have been more delightful and could not have been better appointed, the furnishings were gorgeous, the room proportions, very good, the views onto the grounds very relaxing and peaceful. Close by is the glamour and razzmatazz of Biarritz whilst the beautiful city of Bayonne is so handy for wonderful shopping and fabulous restaurants. The log fire was a great treat for cosy evenings. The tennis court and swimming pool makes the château a holiday centre in itself where you can while away days before realising that maybe you should explore a little further into the surrounding countryside, cities and world famous beaches.

Terrific house with fabulous views, close to town. Our family of five had a perfect holiday. The house is spacious, filled with light and very well appointed. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces a lot, including the pool, the large terrace with stunning views and summer kitchen. It was easy to get to grocery stores and activities in the region. Our teenagers loved being able to walk to the village and explore the area. We all enjoyed walking or jogging on the path by the canal, accessible from the garden. We highly recommend this property!
Thank you for an amazing stay in this wonderful house, the view, kitchen facilities and the entertainment available were all perfect. We enjoyed the bbq every night in the garden and early morning swims. The house was equipped with everything we needed we cooked with herbs from the garden and improved our pool playing. The wine tasting next door was very special, we liked the decor in every room and would recommend this house to stay in, its a lovely place. We had an incredible holiday.
This villa is beautiful. We had an exceptional week. Very modern hyper equipped with a very tasteful, high-end decoration. We were charmed by the villa. The owners are very nice. Very well located 15 minutes walk from the most beautiful village in France. We are used to renting prestigious villas. This one is undoubtedly in its place on the podium. I would even say on the highest step taking into account the kindness of Karine and Éric, the owners. We highly recommend!

Spending a week here was just fantastic. We've enjoyed the lovely sunsets. We had lot's of fun by the pool and had excellent BBQ. We will definitely come back.
Absolutely stunning, luxury converted distillery in the countryside of Challignac. Extremely high end furnishings and appliances. Beautiful interior design, all air conditioned and with an amazing outdoor heated pool with spacious patio, cushioned loungers, sofas and outside dining together with BBQ, Boules court and children’s play area all surrounded by beautiful gardens, and stunning tranquil countryside. It was beautiful to sit out with a morning coffee, watching deer walk through the field at the front. The beds were the most comfortable we’d ever slept in, the showers were fantastic, everything is top notch. Gary and Mark made our week extra special with fabulous recommendations of places to visit and excellent restaurants all nearby. They responded instantly to any request we had, but were totally respectful of our privacy unless we contacted them. We cannot recommend staying here enough and are booking for next year.
Idyllic place. Very peaceful break had by all. Garlin is a lovely village. Great bakery for fresh bread and the essential Ecomarket. All in all, great location - awesome house that's been fitted out to a very high standard throughout and a wonderful, unspoilt part of France that we'd never been to before.

We have been renting villas in the south of France for over 20 years and we just say that owner of Maison des Communes has been the best host we have ever had. From the very generous welcoming gifts to the twice weekly breakfast deliveries to the excellent meal in Pourquoi Pas, he could not have done any more for us. Masion is ideally located, has a lovely pool and sturdy bikes. We had great fun cycling through the vineyards to Montady, capestang, Cazouls and also along the Canal du Midi. A great location for a group of friends on an extended holiday. Merci beaucoup.
Delightful stay in vineyard in Provence. Les Trois Maisons de Valescure was superb, situated up a track and literally miles from anywhere in the glorious vineyards, with delightful far-ranging views. Equipped to an extremely high standard with every room having an ensuite. The bedrooms were large, well-furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen and living space was ideal for our family of 21 which ranged from 10 months to 70+ years old. The swimming pool was completely safe and the games equipment etc. very useful. Thomas who helped us with our booking was unfaillingly helpful and dealt with all our queries really efficiently. Nicolas was charming too and so patient with every request we made. He also gave us an excellent tour of the winery. We were delighted by him. We would unreservedly recommend Valsecure hamlet to any family who want a holiday in a beautiful and quiet area of Provence.
A fabulous property, everything you need in one place, especially the pool. A wonderful location and the local restaurant has been ideal.
We had a very good week of vacation with 2 families. The villa is superb, well equipped and maintained. The heated swimming pool is really a plus, the children really enjoyed it. The owners, who live nearby, are friendly and available. We will return with great pleasure if the opportunity arises. We are strongly recommend this rental.
Great Country Home in Domme. Eight of our family recently spent a few days in the Dordogne region greatly enjoying our home away from home, well located in Domme. Le Borghesia was a beautiful, very impressive and very old home renovated and appointed for today’s lifestyle. It is well located in a lovely country setting. Checking in and out was seamless. I would definitely recommend Le Borghesia to other travellers.

Where to begin? Booked this wonderful house 10 months ago. Often looked at the pictures and thought can anywhere be so perfect... it can! The sheer joy of walking from room to room, spending entire days outside by and in the pool. Simple living in a sumptuous house which just keeps giving with it's character, beautiful art and furniture. Was this as perfect as I imagined? Absolutely. Would I come back? Without a doubt. Perfect. Our second visit and we hope it won’t be the last. Would give it six stars if we could. A beau cottage, tastefully decorated and well equipped. A beautiful pool and a peaceful setting near a village where you can eat well if you’re tired of cooking. Plenty to explore in the area. Best of all, a warm welcome from the owners.

This is our second family holiday in this wonderful house. The welcome from Ian and Hugh when we arrived was excellent. The house and garden are beautifully cared for and the standard of accommodation is 'five star'. It felt like home from home rather than a soleless rental property. Having the owners on site was a plus as they where able to guide us with local activities and restaurant recommendations... there is a lot to do in this area and being so close to some of the best wine regions in the world is definitely a big plus. We also has a lovely day in Bordeaux, which is an easy drive or train journey and well worth the effort. We plan to return next year for our summer break and I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful peaceful haven to anyone wishing to experience the best in hospitality! Thank you Ian and Hugh, you have created something very special!
