This is an exquisite residence with exceptional attention to detail. We were warmly greeted by the housekeeper, who generously shared her local knowledge and recommendations. The restaurants in Bergerac (Le Patio) and Pessac (Le Pessaguin) were fantastic - be sure to try the foie gras and other traditional dishes of French cuisine. Le Patio serves very generous portions so come hungry! We thoroughly enjoyed visits to Château Carbonneau, Saint Émilion, Bergerac and Ste Foy La Grande, especially the Saturday market in Ste Foy. Driving through the vineyards on the scenic local roads provided a truly bucolic experience. For wine lovers, perking right in front of the modest Château Pétrus - producer of one of the most prestigious (and pricey) wines - was a memorable moment.
The property is set in lovely grounds; away from it all yet close to the bastide towns of Monpazier and Villereal. We particularly enjoyed the pool area, which is well kept and maintained on a regular basis by one of the locals. The house is comfortable and equipped with everything you need.
Marie-Christine's house is ideal for a family, it is decorated with great taste, modern and airy. It has all the amenities and its location is ideal (supermarket, bakeries, shopping center, city center, train station, etc.) Marie is a charming person. She gave us advice and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend his house which is completely renovated. I spent a week at this villa in September with my young family. It was perfect. Villa: The property itself is beautiful. It enjoys a large plot and is nicely secluded. The property is very well maintained. The bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen etc. look as they have recently been refurbished. The pool area / gardens are stunning and very well secluded. There is a pool-house equipped with a brick barbecue, kitchen / dining area and shower / toilet. We spent most of our time in this area. Location: The drive from Nice airport is about 45 minutes - it's quite a straightforward journey, mostly on the motorway. I believe Marseille airport is a similar distance away. The property sits in a very nice, secluded area close to many vineyards. The town square (Vidauban) is about 5 minutes' drive from the property. There you will find everything you need from supermarkets through to restaurants and bars. St Tropez, Cannes and Monaco are all under 1 hour away by car Overall, I would highly recommend this villa. I have stayed at other villas in France, which have felt quite dated. This property has been very well maintained and modernised, but still has that French charm about it. We will definitely be returning to this property
We had a wonderful week’s stay at this amazing chateau. We were a family of four (two adults, two teenagers) and couldn’t have wished for a better week. The pool was very popular, and the garden was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Michelle has renovated and finished the whole building with attention to detail and the pictures, as impressive as they are, don’t really do it justice. Wish we could have stayed longer!
We have had a splendid time here and greatly enjoyed the villa. It was very relaxing and comfortable place with incredible views over the vineyards and hill. We spent a lot of time by the pool but also explored the neighbouring sights - Roquebrun was great fun and we also liked Minerve and managed to get down to the coast at Cabaues-les-Fleury.
We have really loved spending a week in this lovely house and garden. Thank you for you hospitality and we wish all the best to you and your family.
Comfortable house on the edge of Seillans village with lovely views. Great terrace for outdoor eating and a lovely, well maintained pool. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was lovely and silent. Good location for exploring the area, though you could easily just stay put, relax, eat at the local restaurants and shop at the well stocked local Carrefour. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and fully intend to come back.
We spent an amazing week at Château Lignol. We chose the Chateau as it looks beautiful but I will be honest the pictures do not do it justice as once you are there it looks even more amazing. The garden was great to entertain children of all ages, with the fenced swimming pool and the trampoline which were used and abused on a daily basis by our children. I loved relaxing in the bath and chilling by the the pool with a nice glass of wine. It was also so quiet with only the landlord (ever so discreet and still always there to assist should you need anything) and a farmer as neighbors that you can truly enjoy the serene surrounding. Yet it is only one hour from Concarneau and its lovely beaches to which we went on two occasions. We also used the service proposed for a cook, Sharon, whom we highly recommend (especially her beef stroganoff which is out of this world!) who preempted all our needs and who prepared all our breakfasts, beautifully laid out, few meals and a party buffet which we had with some friends at the Chateau. Everything looked amazing and tasted great as well! It will remain a beautiful memory of a true holiday where everyone truly relaxed and enjoy themselves! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us and making us so welcome. We have had an amazing week - so peaceful and quiet with walks through the forest and soaking up the tranquility of the lake, watching the fish jump and the kingfisher dive. We will take away beautiful memories of Colombat.
It has been 6 years of trying to get to stay here but eventually we did it and it was worth the wait. The owners were so kind and helpful. Providing super cheeses, wine, early morning deliveries. And all of that before even mentioning the beautiful house :) Everything was amazing except for the canicule, 42°C (phew!) but the pool saved us, it was amazing also. Many thanks for a load of super memories.

We are delighted with our stay in Villa Signado. Quiet, in a green setting, with your feet in the water and under the sun for two weeks... it was great!! This spacious villa and outdoor setting invites to a relaxing getaway. Béziers, Pézenas, Sigean, Cap d'Agde, Sète... detours rewarded by very beautiful discoveries. We will gladly come back!
We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very nice, bright, very well equipped. The large terrace overlooking the small harbour and the sea is at the top, with the sound of cicadas. The living space is very bright and pleasant to live in. The kitchen is very well equipped. Local shops, including a large Giant Casino, are accessible by car, on Beaulieu, 5 minutes by car. Even if access to the station and bus is quite simple, prefer the car... or the boat, because the port is at the bottom of the building.
One cannot believe it can look as the pictures... in fact it is better. Everything absolutely first class and in a great location. We traveled as a family and the place managed to be both romantic and perfect for children. Cannot recommend highly enough. Six stars.
My family stayed at La Barde for a fortnight in 2018 and we are returning with friends in 2019. The house is well set up to accommodate two families and a large number of children. The garden and grounds are particularly well maintained. The sitting room opens directly onto a lawn, which is great for supervising small children and the extended grounds offer loads of space for children to explore. The setting is quiet but easily accessible to Ribérac.
We are a family of two adults and three teens and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Le Somail! The house was very well equipped with everything we needed and there was plenty of space inside and out. The pool area is very sheltered and private - having the pool to cool us down on the hottest of days was certainly appreciated! We enjoyed being so close to the canal and seeing the boats sailing past, it’s a beautiful location. There is a good selection of places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk of the house, yet the house was very peaceful and we were never disturbed by any noise from the restaurant next door. There were plenty of activities within an easy driving distance to keep us all amused for the duration of our stay including lakes, beaches and shopping. We hope we can return again, thank you for a wonderful holiday.
We had a pleasant stay, the region is magnificent and reveals some treasures. Up to you to discover them !!! Lots of activities to do (pony riding, boat rides, Europarc, Lunaparc, jetski, city visits: Béziers, Cap d'Agde, Valras Plage... But our stay would not have been complete without talking about this wonderful villa which offers incredible comfort. The swimming pool is great and for relaxation, it's the best! Thanks to the staff. Thank you to the owners who understand the pleasures of their tenants. A big thank-you!
Really brilliant week at Mas Saint-Cernin. We have loved the houses, garden, pool, views, sun-rises and sunsets, birds, red squirrels etc etc. The local towns are so pretty and the fantastic markets provided most of our food. Lots of coffee stops. Found it easy to do boulangerie trip. Intermarche just outside Castillonnes was an easy supermarket shop (done on Tuesday after visiting the great market where we got large boxes of peaches, apricots and haricot vert for 5 Euros. Great wine tasting at Les Verdots - wish we had gone there earlier for our wine. La Brucellerie great for a meal. Bikes hired from Bergerac cycle hire, google Apolo cycles. Best to book in advance but really helpful man there. Huge thanks to John and Lesley for providing such wonderful accommodation (they have thought of everything) and for being so warm and helpful all week. We have appreciated your many kindnesses. Hope to return soon.

What a beautiful place to holiday! Exquisitely furnished and decorated and so well equipped. The terrace is such a focal point for eating, lounging, etc and we have enjoyed many evenings playing games there! The pool is simply gorgeous and so very well maintained - daily, which is very much appreciated. An ideal place for an adult family to have reunions - no one wanted to leave! We have had a fantastic holiday here! The pool was great as was the weather. The house was great as well and was very comfy. The garden was amazing, we practically lived outside. Overall we really loved our stay here and will definitely recommend this holiday to our friends and family.
We had to wait a long time for our much anticipated return visit to your wonderful villa - and it did not disappoint. We have had the best time, Sophia enjoyed the pool (as we all did). Manoir Gascon is an amazing house in a lovely location. Having visited a fair number of houses in France over a nearly 20 year period it ranks right at the top. The owners were a delightful contact for any concerns and most welcoming. Of course they come from the best part of the world! Delightful!
Well, what fun we've had in your beautiful house. You have catered for our every need and we've had such a happy and relaxing time here. Sadly it's our last night now and we've just returned from a splendid dinner at Auberge de la Croisade - a wonderful way to end a perfect week. Our special memory will be my dear friend Gary giving us a private bagpipe performance outside the house with the sound of 'Flower of Scotland' echoing down the valley and through the village! Thank you Helena for arranging everything so efficiently and for giving us a memorable holiday.
