AMAZING! Our stay at the Loft has been our best since we started visiting this area five years ago. Relaxed, very comfortable, well equipped and spacious - it is the perfect place to return to after a day out or even from just around the corner by the pool! Karen and Russell have been a revelation in the way that they host their property. Right from our wine on arrival to booking a restaurant for us - nothing was a problem or too much trouble for them and the informative e-mails before we arrived were very handy and well-timed. They are a gem! As is their Loft and as their next venture will be. We just need another week here!
Back again! We loved our stay here so much we decided to come back and it did not disappoint. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed both local walks (marked maps provided at the house). Impressive thunder storms and lovely blue skies. Would recommend Castres, Revel and Hautpoul for local trips (all within 30 to 40 minutes drive).
What a fun-filled week with all our favourite people! Mike and Annie have spoilt us rotten and we have loved this beautiful place – perfect for a big gathering of friends and family. Thank you and lots of love.
Loved Cottage du Jardin from the first photo we viewed on line. We had the warmest welcome from Caterina and Stephen. The cottage lived up to and beyond expectations. For anyone looking for total peace and tranquility this is the place to find it. On the other hand the area offers a mass of beautiful places to visit, within a short driving distance. You also have the luxury of your own swimming pool, surrounded by a beautiful fragrant garden. Caterina and Stephen go out of their way to make you welcome and are a font of knowledge of the area, but manage to do this without being intrusive. The perfect hosts. I hope that this little cottage will continue to enchant those who are lucky enough to find it.
As regular visitors we choose this area for over 30 years. This is without doubt the loveliest property we we ever had. The location and settings are glorious. We loved to sat in every places of the garden and at different times of the day. Loved the relaxing and beautiful pool area enjoyed the tasteful but functional rooms and cooked every night in this well appointed kitchen. All the small touches and details show great level of consideration from the owners. Thank you so much Frederick has been welcoming and helpful it was lovely to come back and we hope to return at least once next year.
Had a wonderful 2 weeks at the Maison Baleyssagues in Lot-et-Garonne. Great days out in Bordeaux and the countryside. Weather great for the most part. Really enjoyed the super pool - which has been the best so far. Thanks so much to Frederic for being such an entertaining host. See you gain soon.
Located in a beautiful environment by the Canal du Midi in a small village full of charm with its small stone bridge, restaurants and this incredible bookstore, this accommodation is perfect. Beautiful bedrooms with their own very spacious bathrooms, a very warm living room with its fireplace, beautiful ceiling height, a well-equipped open kitchen and pretty beams. A nice pool area, a large garden, lovely terrace are also worth highlighting. The hospitality is perfect. I highly recommend it.
The house was spacious and very comfortable. The attention to detail made it feel like a five-star experience and well had a most fantastic and restful nights sleep.

We have had a really lovely week at La Maison Cabanon. It was great to feel home from home here. All the children relaxed straight away. We had a couple of cloudy days so went to Baux de Provence. Saint Remy de Provence market (Wednesday mornings) and explored L 'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue - all nice things to do. But we mainly enjoyed the fab pool! Beautiful surroundings, lovely atmosphere. Thank you.
Fantastic house to stay in – comfortable, clean and everything needed provided. Beautiful garden, pool and terrace. The views are stunning especially with a morning coffee or glass of wine (at dinner!)
Large family holiday, ages varying from 2-60. Beautiful house, great outdoor area with outside pergola and table plenty big enough to sit all 13 of us which was great. As in description location is very rural so definitely need cars - supermarket is 10 mins drive away. Estelle was very helpful leading up to our holiday, and during our stay. Answering all our questions and popped by to make sure we were happy with everything. Local area very pretty, but we stayed in August and everywhere was deserted! Apparently lots of places in France shut down in August. Very well equipped house for great holiday.

I stayed in Château Bellevue with my family and some friends last Summer. It was magical, right from the moment we drove up the drive and I passed the swimming pool and saw the house, I couldn't wait to explore the château and its gardens. I stayed in one of the 'children's rooms' on the upper floor, which are beautiful rooms with lots of books to read. I spent my days playing with my friends in the grounds, we particularly liked laying in the shade under the old oak trees chatting and in the evening we loved playing one of the many of the board games. The beach, mountains and pretty little villages are close by and beautiful.
Wow, wow and wow! The views are wonderful with the gorgeous sunsets. The whole family have loved all the facilities, particularly swimming in the multi-coloured lights at night.
We were a group of 20 (5 families) and had a wonderful week! The rooms are very comfortable (aircon, great beds), the kitchen was perfect for a large group, the pool was large and clean (not even a bug in the water, thanks to the overflow system). Everything is nicely decorated and brand new. The location is just beautiful with wonderful sunsets. We had a lovely visit at the wine cellar of the domaine and did a wine tasting. We visited Saint-Tropez and the Pampelonne plage (1 hour drive), Cotignac (40 min), Île de Porquerolles by catamaran from Hyères (1h) and did canyoning in the Gorges du Verdon (2h drive). So plenty to do but you'll need to spend some time in the car. And last but not least : Thomas is a great host. He is always available and willing to help in every possible way.
Thank you very much indeed for renting your beautiful property to us for the past fortnight. My husband and I have been renting houses in France from time to time over the past thirty years. We are both agreed that Chez Pascale is the best and most generously equipped house that we have ever experienced. The setting, too, is delightful and so peaceful and quiet - a welcome change from our noisy city lives. We visited some of the local attractions which we enjoyed and agree that Sarlat, Domme and the surrounding villages and towns are justly famous for their scenic beauty and unique architecture as well as the local gastronomy. Our family members have now returned to their separate homes, but we will all retain some very happy memories of our holiday together in lovely Chez Pascale. Thank you, once more.
La Petite Maison Générille is pure magic. Tucked away in the rolling hills of the Dordogne, this peaceful gîte blends rustic charm with stylish comfort. The saltwater pool is dreamy, the interiors are beautifully done, and every corner feels like a breath of fresh French countryside air. We didn't want to leave — and we're already planning our return.
Many thanks for your hospitality; we've very much enjoyed our stay at the Loft. You've clearly gone to a lot of effort to ensure that your guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. We certainly appreciated the supper that you provided for us on the first night - much appreciated after a day of travel. Fantastic Water Temperature. There isn't much to add to the previous reviews except to say, thank you Denise and Michael for a great week. To be able to walk straight from the house into the pool and not have to brace yourself for the water temperature was fantastic! The apartment was wonderful with real attention to detail and of course everything was spotless.
We would be very happy staying here for the rest of our lives - thank you. Beautiful house inside and out.

A challenging end of year led to my very last minute search for somewhere special to stay for Christmas. We jumped for joy when your Loft showed as available for 8 days arriving on Christmas Eve. Throughout the five hour drive from Cannes, I stressed about finding a tree and decorations to make the holiday perfect. To my utter AMAZEMENT, the Loft had been fully decorated beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you so much for all your very thoughtful and generous touches. As a seriously experienced traveller, I can assure you that exceptionally few hosts go to the same lengths as yourselves. You made our Christmas very SPECIAL and, dare I say, UNFORGETTABLE! Superb contemporary villa surrounded by a very large and beautiful garden, dream pool, fish pond to relax or to occupy the little ones. Eva and her friend Audrey are very kind and we are very well received and well advised on local visits and activities! We thank you again for everything.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We have enjoyed every second. There is such a relaxed and calm atmosphere at Maison Four à Chaux! Perfect, We've been spoilt. We've enjoyed dining in all the areas around the house, especially the pool house! We would recommend a visit to Rochefort and Cognac. The park in Saint-Savinien is great for little ones. We stayed as a family in this very pretty house of character, full of charm and luxury. Located in a large, quiet, vast and well-maintained property, the house offers beautiful surface areas and numerous rooms, ideal for a large family. The large swimming pool is perfect for the whole family. The welcome is very friendly and we spent a wonderful week as a family in this beautiful property. I will come back with pleasure.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and above all cozy villa. Very tastefully and comfortably furnished. The beautiful vintage cuisine is a highlight. The bathrooms were also very stylish and spacious. The large garden on several floors is dreamy. Especially when the many flowers bloom. The mountain views were magnificent and an absolute haven of peace compared to noisy and busy city life at home. The manager Sophie is a very enjoyable and friendly person!
